[-----]

Basic NPC Information
Name: Viva Visel
Nickname: ViVi, Daddy's Little Girl, Sweetie, Angel, Cutie, Baby, Sweetpie, Weebear, Snuggle Bunny, etc.
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Affiliation: Other (Vin Visel)

Achievements

Notes of Interest
  • Viva was trained in the art of swordsmanship by Fran Hunder, a former Commodore of the Marines whom was highly trained in the skill, otherwise known as the Saint of Swords.

Profession:

Swordswoman
Viva was trained at an early age in the art of swordsmanship, specializing particularly in the use of Japanese short swords or wakizashi, a most compatible weapon set for her small stature.

Position: Daddy’s Little Girl

Physical Appearance
Height: 4’6
Weight: 80 lbs.
Hair: Viva’s silky, lavender hair is cut short, in an almost bob fashion. However, instead of being cut even all around, the sides extend down to her shoulders, whilst the front bang stops just above her eyes while the back stops at the topmost portion of the back of her neck.

Eyes: Viva inherited the eyes of her father, biological and adoptive, as do most Visel’s. Big and expansive, her wondrous gaze projects a ray of adorability about her person, especially for her particular age. The color of her eyes, however, was passed from her mother, being a deep ocean blue.

Clothing/Accessories: Viva’s appearance typically resembles that of a school girl in uniform with a touch of professionalism in them not associated with such an archetype. These outfits usually consist of a white dress shirt, short or long sleeved, with various types of skirts that often stop around the mid-thigh area, shorts underneath the skirt to deter perverted, pedophilic bastards and loafers. However, she is a girl, even if a young one. Accessorizing is a necessity for her. These usually come in the form of skinny ties that come loosened or fastened, the bowtie-esque look situated along the upper torso portion of the shirt, a vest or sweater of varying colors such a blue, tan and grey and more, solid colored black or blue stockings that travel up her legs till the upper thigh, or even extravagantly adorned jackets whose coat tails stretch down to the end of her skirt.

General Appearance: Viva is a slender young lady whom has yet to reach that age of beginning to blossom and bloom. As such, she lacks any and all womanly curves as expected, and a small stature with fair white skin. However, what is housed in her tiny frame is a strengthened and trained body that many would not imagine to be owned by a little girl.

Though she outwardly appears ladylike in her manner of dressing, she quickly demolishes that impression with her tomboyish actions in the way she walks, talks, and conducts herself. Nevertheless, Viva is upbeat and cheery, preferring the positive things in life. She is, however, very prone to changing how she feels and showing it, intentionally or not, whenever she’s upset, angry or feeling down.

Viva

The Character
Personality: On the surface, Viva is a fierce, mostly independent young girl whenever she has to be. Being around her father usually brings out the spoiled brat portion of her personality, but it never sticks. This is especially true due to her tomboy nature. That isn’t to say she lacks compassion and is incapable of expressing love for people, hobbies, or life in general.

All the same, she is quick to initiate a fight or rise to any challenge when declared or provoked, making it easy for others to manipulate her. Quick-witted and impulsive, she proves to be a bit difficult in predicting how she will react, especially in dire situations. Though she doesn’t usually mean it, her rash decisions and sarcastic statements and crude language often insult others accidentally, in which, if she truly didn’t mean to make them feel such, she’ll do all she can to right the wrong. Not immediately, but eventually at the least.

While tough, impatient and headstrong beyond words, Viva does have a good sense of humor and presents enthusiasm, especially for most activities that are uncharacteristic of what a girl would enjoy, such as fighting, explosions, robots and more.

Alas, as she is, Viva is the type of person that wears her heart on her sleeve. Whenever something doesn’t go her way, even if she means to hold it inside and hide how she feels, it is clearly obvious in visage and mannerisms. Due to her confidence in her physical capabilities, whenever she encounters someone far superior, she is immensely intimidated. This fear of what they could do is usually repressed, but in doing so, her demeanor suffers from holding it in, becoming reclusive and gloomy. She is afraid to admit her fear, however, and will vainly attempt to confront the fear without truly coming to copes with the reality of it, showing how much she can be ruled by her emotions and her greenness.

Birthday: July 27th (Bug Bunny’s Birthday)
Special Laugh: "Nininini!".
Animal Most Resembles: Rabbit
Favorite Color: Turquoise
Favorite Island and Season: Spring on a winter island
Favorite Food: She loves her some meat. “And not like that you sick, fuckers.” Bacon to be exact.
Miscellaneous Trivia: As a part of the Visel family tradition, all of them possess the nickname, ViVi, which is formed by the first two letters of their first and last names. She smells of bacon.

Hometown: Visel Estate, Calm Belt
History:

The young Viva Visel grew up an atypical life compared to most children. Well, not entirely.

Born in the Visel residence to a Vinson Visel, the sickly son of the family, as well as Relm Trixiebell, a strategist hired to serve the family, she grew up in the wealthy manor alongside her parents. They were affectionate and caring to the bone, showering her with love and gifts of all sorts. She was doted on by the innumerable maids and butlers and even her grandfather to some extent, even while he didn’t entirely approve of the foreign blood coursing through Viva’s veins.

In fact, it was mainly these individuals that catered to her every need after a certain period of time. Her mother was sent off on another one of her assignments, leaving the father, whom was plagued with another illness at the time, to care for her. Of course, he left her to the caretakers for fear of spreading his sickness to her, as well as because he didn’t feel confident enough to tend to her without the mother around. Though it was only a mild feeling at first, it did not remain such.

After the desertion of Relm, the Visel family grew distraught at the turn of events, indirectly affecting Viva in the process. No longer did she receive the extensive good-natured treatment from the house’s servant. The little attention she received from her grandfather all but ceased to exist, not wishing to even utter a glance at the traitorous reminder that was Viva’s likeness to her mother. This negligence even stemmed over to his father, who grew more and more isolated from everyone at the news and sicklier as well. Thusly, she grew up almost on her own without much love and tenderness as she once did.

In turn, she fended for herself a lot of the time, developing more and more boy-oriented traits and tendencies. She didn’t have dolls and glittery things to play with. She had to go out and explore in the forest that encircled the mansion and ventured to the very edges of the island in search of the sea. Confronting various animals with a tough, macho exterior soon fashioned itself to her core, slowly transitioning herself into a tomboy.

And it wouldn’t stop there. After Vin Visel’s return and conquest of the Visel family, he took the five-year old Viva in his care in hopes keeping an eye on her himself. He was fully aware the Exodus organization would mark her as a target for killing if he didn’t quite follow their plans to a “tee”, but similarly knew keeping her in the care of his brother was out of the question, considering his condition. Alas, he had little means to truly protect the little one as he wished especially with the life he was to live. There were few he could trust with her life, but he found a suitable alternative in entrusting her to be trained by one of the organization’s finest in swordsman.

It was a most ludicrous notion in theory, but innocent Viva was thrilled at the idea. It served as the very catalyst in becoming not only a full-fledged tomboy, but also a fierce combatant which she used especially to her advantage in any physical contest of sorts, being as competitive as she was. However, while she grew close to her mentor and even encountered a number of its members, Viva never knew the true nature of the organization her father was tied to… She would only serve the role she was truly entrusted to by Vin, unbeknownst to her, when he could not---to protect herself against all threats and by extension, Vin as well.

Abilities and Possessions
Combat: First and foremost, Viva favors fighting with swords, or wakizashis to be exact, for their respective size and weight. Being the small young lady that she is, she lacks the sufficient enough strength to overcome most opponents of equal physical prowess. However, she makes up for her lack of power and small physique with sheer skill and speed to overwhelm.

Viva uses her short swords in a variety of manners, imitating a large number of styles into one all-encompassing art, such as fencing, iaido, battoujutsu and more. In the end, however, she works to predominately hack-and-slash away at her target until there is nothing left. And to top it off, she doesn’t always perform them in a most conventional manner either, making use of aerodynamics, juggling and dexterity to “wield” and put several swords into play at one, simultaneous moment. Such a fighting style has been dubbed Saint's Swordplay by her mentor.

She doesn’t only rely on her swords for dominating all those that cross her path. Her body has been honed thoroughly in such a way to even compensate for a possibility of lacking weaponry at fight. Her tremendous speed works to dash and dart around her target unendingly, flowing and weaving in and out of attacks to enact a hit-and-run tactic. Though it isn’t something she is fond of, Viva is still prone to using the one particular “weapon” for delivering precise blows and assaulting as need be: her fingers. Holding enough power to penetrate flesh, she effectively wields this “sword finger” to wreak havoc unusually.

Weaponry:

Dual Wakizashis – These pair of identical iron wakizashis are short in length as expected of a shortsword, their length reaching up to a flat 12 inches. Their gleaming, metallic gray blades hold a more, distinct curvature than most similar swords, perhaps crafted in such a way for more aerodynamic capability. Their hilts hold a black coloring with a number of arbitrary symbols and patterns etched into their surface, while the crossguard is sharpened into what appears as flower petals of sorts, not unlike a sunflower.

Saint's Swordplay: Sword Techniques
Commandment I: Holy Flash – Rank 4 (Rank 3 + Weapon Mastery)
Type: Offensive
Range: Close
Stats: ---
Description: Viva closes the distance between her target, wielding two swords in-hand with an underhand grip so that they flare out behind her. She then swings them from either side of her to intersect with the target, slashing them simultaneously with both.
Commandment II: Sacred Arrow – Rank 4 (Rank 3 + Weapon Mastery)
Type: Offensive
Range: Close ~ Mid
Stats: ---
Description: Viva makes use of her fine hand-eye coordination to launch a sword through the air at her opponent from a distance in a thrusting fashion.
Commandment III: Heavenly Waft – Rank 4 (Rank 3 + Weapon Mastery)
Type: Offensive
Range: Close ~ Mid
Stats: ---
Description: A technique relying more upon skill and surprise than outright power, Viva flings a sword from either in front of her and behind her at such an angle that it arcs upward into the air, rotating in quick circles, and comes down upon anything in its trajectory, which is typically an enemy. She is also capable of using this technique by hitting one of her swords with another in such a way as to commence the aerial strike.
Commandment IV: Judgment – Rank 6 (Rank 5 + Weapon Mastery)
Type: Offensive
Range: Close
Stats: ---
Description: Using a rather unorthodox style of “juggling” without releasing objects from physical contact with her body, Viva, using a single sword, proceeds to twirl it around in her hand not unlike a baton by the hilt. However, instead of using the individual fingers or her hand itself, the sword twists and whirls along the surface of her hand, the hilting always in contact with her hand whilst the blade cuts through the air haphazardly. After building a certain amount of momentum, Viva sways her arm in the opponent’s direction, allowing the gracefully “self-moving” sword to slash them without much warning.
Commandment V: Sacred Bullet – Rank 8 (Rank 7 + Weapon Mastery) [Branched from Commandment III: Sacred Arrow]
Type: Offensive
Range: Close ~ Mid
Stats: ---
Description: Following up on the principle of Sacred Arrow, instead of simply tossing the sword with her own hand, Viva positions a sword in front of her, usually threw a quick tossing up into the air. As it comes down until it is directly parallel with her face, she thrusts a second sword into the hilt of the first, sending it soaring at the opponent with more power and range than the previous technique.
Commandment VI: Heavenly Gust – Rank 8 (Rank 7 + Weapon Mastery) [Branched from Commandment III: Heavenly Waft]
Type: Offensive
Range: Close ~ Mid
Stats: ---
Description: Taking a more aggressive approach from the basis of Heavenly Waft, Viva flings two swords from varying angles around her, sending them into the air with their intended target the same. As they come down upon the opponent, Viva promptly closes in on them and slashes them in such a way as to meet and intersect with the other two swords to inflict a Y-shaped cut, whether from underneath them, from the sides or even above. As with the previous technique, she can even launch the initial two swords with one sword in-hand.
Commandment VII: Heavenly Squall – Rank 12 (Rank 11 + Weapon Mastery) [Branched from Commandment VI: Heavenly Gust]
Type: Offensive
Range: Close ~ Mid
Stats: ---
Description: Taking the technique of juggling her swords to assault her victims a step further, Viva employs a great number of swords, continuously launching them, either by hand or hitting them with a sword in hand, in the air at the victim in question. As she sends the flurry of swords at almost every angle imaginable in their path, she, with a sword in-hand, proceeds to attack in tow with her projectile-made swords, furthering intensifying the barrage of attacks sent at them.
Commandment VIII: Trinity Mark: The First Doctrine – Rank 14 (Rank 13 + Weapon Mastery)
Type: Offensive
Range: Close ~ Mid
Stats: ---
Description: Viva begins the commencement of this technique with the sword in the sheath. As she hones in on her target, she grips the hilt of her sword and pulls it out of the sheath, the blade accelerating forthwith out of the sword container until it is fully released. Slashing the sword in front of her with such power and speed, it generates enough force to produce a compressed wave of air in a crescent shape in a wide arc before her. Though it dissipates after only a short distance, its extended reach is invaluable for striking unsuspecting targets out of range by surprise.

Swordless Techniques
Finger Sword: Prod – Rank 4
Type: Offensive
Range: Close
Stats: ---
Description: A most rudimentary technique following the swordless practices, Viva, with an extended index finger, pokes said finger into the body of the opponent with surprising force behind it.
Finger Sword: Jab – Rank 8 [Branched from Finger Sword: Prod]
Type: Offensive
Range: Close
Stats: ---
Description: Strengthening the entirety of her fingers even more so to augment Prod, Viva uses both her index finger and middle finger to jab into her target with enough power behind the blow to knock them back a little ways.

Do you really need Vin Visel in affiliation? :/

Maybe this is just me, but I'm not exactly thrilled about the idea of a former Marine Commodore being the mentor to the npc of a 151 sd character. I'd say Commander, maybe Captain.

Is Visel Estate it's own island on the Calm Belt? If not, include the actual island please

Specify material weapons are made out of

Alright, let me see if I got this right: Commandment II (C2) involves throwing one of her swords. C3 involves throwing a sword at a specified trajectory while making it spin and shit and having the ability to do it by slamming one sword into another. Now from what I see, C3 seems more like an advanced C2 yet is somehow the same rank, which I don't understand at all. Also, not sure about throwing in the later part (the hitting with another sword thing) as an added bonus instead of a second tech, but eh.

Alright, if I'm reading C4 right, then you are basically having the sword literally twirl around on it's own for no reason what so ever. Either that or I am way too tired to understand that technique properly..... Also not sure how the attack would be unexpected if she's standing their twirling swords around "haphazardly"

If anything C5 would be a branch off of C3. C2 doesn't have anything to do with sending a sword flying by hitting it with another sword, while C3 does.

How can you even do C6 or C7 if you only have two swords? Unless you meant to say "pairs" under weaponry in which case give the number of weapons under said section....

Finger techs seem incredibly silly to me, but there's nothing actually wrong with them. So you're cool there.

Well, she only follows Vin, so... It's kind of relevant. Not "necessary", sure, but neither is a lot of things put in profiles as I pointed out in a certain topic as of late Blades.

And that has any sort of an effect on anything at all whatsoever in all of the world how Blades. Especially when people have had Rear Admirals, among other things thrown in theirs. As long as it's not one of the Four World Powers or likely any VAs, there should be no issue. Commodore is two ranks down. So what's the issue.

Yes Blades. Hence why I put that there where the name of the island would be.

Will do Blades.

Rank relates to complexity and partially power of a technique Blades. Throwing straight shot is something fairly freeform, yes. What else is freeform? Hitting a stick against another to send it in a general direction of whatever you want. It involves a bit more skill, but that is why it isn't a freeform thing/Rank 1. Also...That last statement in C3 involves the additional way the sword can be thrown at the target in this manner, by striking it with another sword. The main way was just throwing it with a flick of the wrist into the air. Basically, throwing in a non-straight shot manner so it's more seemingly random and isn't something you see coming as much. Which is very Rank 4...

Yes, it's a form of juggling by keeping an object in contact with the body while it moves about seemingly on its own. It's really a matter of subtle movements, but nevertheless, it's something that is usually done with round objects, since they're the best way of doing it. Doing it with a sword is likely a bit more difficult, hence the rank. And it's kind of unexpected because a self-twirling sword seemingly randomly decides to move in the path of striking you while the user is there yawning and falling asleep (example). Sure, someone could observe the subtle movements of her arm to possibly predict it, but the idealism is still there. You usually see someone swing a sword as an attempting to slash someone. That and it's really just a flavor, wording thing Blades.

Uh. Not really Blades. It's two different ways of doing it. C3 involves either hitting the sword in just the right way to send it upward into the air, spinning akin to say a boomerang or something to hit the intended person or has Viva just tossing it up herself with a flick of the wrist as I pointed out before. C5 hits the hilt of the sword to send it in a straight shot path to the target with another sword. Similarly to C2 which involved just throwing it manually.

And I plan to get more swords Blades. You don't have to have the equipment to have the technique. The only issue is you can't perform the technique without the necessary equipment.

Yes, they're silly Blades. It is One Piece. It's no different than Shigan. But thank you.

It's fine, just felt like pointing it out for whatever stupid reason

Had a similar convo with Emo, which reminded me of an old convo with yak. So yeah, I might not like it, but it's fine
