Sinne grimaced as his was woken from his peaceful slumber by a ray of sunshine peeking throught the blinds of the third story window. As his senses came back to him, the pirate could feel the silk sheets underneath his naked body and a strange sense of warmth on his right side. Cracking his right eye open, the man saw a woman looking back at him with half closed eyes. Closing his eye, the assassin tried to figure out who the wench was and what she was doing in his bed. The second answer was quite obvious given that the woman was naked as well. The first was giving him troubles. He remembered going to a tavern and beginning to drink, but after about a fourth or fifth drink, the chef could not remember much. Given the fact that he usually drank copious amounts or alcohol on almost a daily basis, the Wraith doubted that five drinks would be enough to make him forget so he must have consumed much more. How much, he really did not know. But back to the nude female whose name he could not remember, not that he was sure that he knew it in the first place. "Aw Sinne, I saw that you are correct so no need to pretend otherwise." the wench said and the pirate could just hear the pout in her voice.

The assassin contemplated just ignoring her and pretending to still be asleep just to annoy her, but that changed when what she called him finally registered in his still drowsy mind. She called him by his real name. He never gave that out outside of the group of people whom he liked, which was very small, though that did not stop the Marines from somehow finding out his name and plastering his face all over the wanted posters. He really was not sure how they got it, but from then on, the chef paid very close attention to make sure not to utter it at any time outside his group. As such, the fact that the woman knew his name was rather disconcerting. Since he was still alive and not chains rotting in some dungeons, the wraith doubted the wench knew anything else about him, especially his bounty, other than his name. But even a name would be enough to alert the high authorities and he would be swiftly captured. And since anyone in the building could have overheard his name, he would have to do something about it. Since burning the building down was out of he immediate question, since Sinne was not particularly keen on attracting the Marine attention so blatantly just yet, the only thing left would be to just move to another inn. As for the woman….

Opening both his eyes, the pirate turned his head and returned the wench's sultry gaze. The assassin smiled when she licked her lips and motioned him to come closer. Not one to disappoint, the chef moved over to the female and kissed her. Deepening the kiss, the wraith grasped her arms in a firm but gentle manner so as to not alert her. Suddenly her eyes opened wide and she began to thrash around as Sinne's tongue turned into a liquid and began to produce quicksilver, which flowed easily into her lungs and stomach. Just as quickly the thrashings began, the ended. Pulling away, the pirate rolled out of bed and spat on the floor. "Damn, that tasted cheap." the assassin muttered as he wiped his mouth and walked over to the basin, splashing water onto his face and drinking a glass of cool water to clear his mind. Drying his face, the chef noticed three bottles of spirits in the trash, pretty much answering his question as to why he could not remember much from the night before. Going back to the bed, the wraith searched for the woman's clothing and once found, rifled through them for anything useful. Relocating some beli from her pockets into the ones of his pants, the man pulled out a crumpled photograph of a young child, probably her child or something, though it mattered little as to her relation to the kid. He would probably have to take care of the kid as to prevent him from growing up and wanting revenge for his mother.

Saying a quick daily prayer to Gor'Ignak, the deity of assassins and chaos, and giving him the offering of the woman as the daily task, Sinne rose to his feet and began getting dresses. Putting on his smallclothes, the pirate quickly followed with his shirt, metal vest, pants, and shoes before draping his yukata over his shoulders. Tugging on the necklace and the wristbands, the assassin exited the room and headed downstairs, leaving the woman on the bed to stew in her own fluids. Reaching the bottom floor, the chef sat down at table and ordered his breakfast, breaking his fast over fried eggs, bacon, and a glass of ale. Finishing that, the wraith sought out the owner, giving him the beli for the an extra night, a simple precaution to mislead anyone who tried to find him. "My good sir, would you happen to know where the lady who accompaied me last night lived? I want to get her a small gift for her services." Sinne asked with a smile. "Ah Meg? Yeah, I think she lives over on Delier Lane. Make sure you get a toy or some candy for her son, a good natured little rascal." the owner returned the pirate's simple smile. "Don't mention this to her. I kinda want it to be a surprise. Oh, and I wouldn't disturb her in my room, we had a wild night last night." the assassin winked and waved goodbye, stepping into the bright lit day.

If his time telling skills were worth his salt, then the chef estimated that it was about midmorning. With nothing to do till mid afternoon, when the tournament started, the wraith decided that this was as good a time as any to take care of the potential thorn in his side. Taking his time meanderin over to his destination, Sinne made sure to buy some flowers and a couple of chocolate covered caramel apples. About half an hour later and a two simple and innocent questions later, the pirate stood in front of the wench's house. A rap on the door was answered by a timid boy of about 8 years old. "Hi, is your mom at home?" the assassin asked sweetly. "N...n…o." came the shy and expected reply. "Would you mind if I came in and waited for her?" the chef asked with a smile and offered the two apples to the kid. While the boy said nothing, the wraith was pleased to see his eyes get bigger and moments later, the kid stepped away and let the man in. Ten minutes later, Sinne emerged from the house and shut the door behind him. Donning his sunglasses, he took a bite out of the apple and aimlessly strolled down the lane, whistling tunelessly and periodically taking another bite out of the chocolate covered carmel apple.

” Ha…Ha...Ha…”

Akira’s panting could be visibly heard over the wind as he soared through the sky the wind seeming to part before him as he sailed effortlessly through. The sun was bright and the clouds were few so out in the openness of the vast sea he was clearly visible. Not that it mattered he was enjoying himself being on that ship with all the insignificant crewmen had begun to take its toll on him. Nowhere could he escape without the glares and whispering and he couldn’t say he didn’t deserve it, he knew what they were saying. He had single handily erased half the ship men in a matter of moments some of them were probably friends or whatever. They all probably had it out for him and couldn’t possibly figure out why their captain had not only allowed him to join the crew but take the ship as well.

Actually Akira had spent the last few days wondering that as well, like yeah he was the only guy that could navigate them but trust was earned. Heh if he wanted he could take over this ship right now, it’s not as if any of the crewmen could kill him it’d be easy and natural…so why hadn’t he. Whatever it didn’t matter it was probably better to stay with this crew long enough for him to be able to completely destroy them later on down the line. He really had it out for that Hastings one way or the other he’d kill that man and enjoy himself while doing it. While he wasn’t a bad guy once you got to know him Akira was not the type to easily forgive and forget over these types of matters. He was humiliated and shown to be truly weak in front of that man, watching him writhe in pain will be beautiful.

Enough of that morbid talk, Akira adjusted his stance slightly as he curved the snowboard slightly before the male bent low using one hand to hold the bottom of the snowboard while the other hung freely in the air. His speed increased drastically as he soared towards the ship he’d called home for the past few days, close to the deck Akira pulled the snowboard from beneath him and in one swift and fluid motion placed it over his back and landed both feet on the deck. Readjusting his suit the pirate hunter glanced around noting the few men huddled near the mast with bowed heads and hushed whispers. A low sigh passed through the navigator’s lips as he looked towards the horizon smiling as he watched Iron Knife Island come into view. They’d be there in a few minutes so a change of clothes was probably in order, the male descended below deck while the ship inched closer to the island.

A few minutes later and Akira emerged from the staircase wearing black skinny jeans with faded gray in the knees, accompanied by a grey distressed t-shirt and a new jacket he’d been sent from some mysterious bird. He wasn’t going to question it, the jacket was sweet and it seemed to fill him with more confidence, although that was probably just because it looked badass. Oh well whatever it was he liked the jacket and on an island such as this he didn’t want to look too clean. Actually, pulling out his notebook giving small him a little information he realized that Iron Knife Island was not only known for contests but for a marine presence. While his bounty wasn’t as high as some of his fellow “crewmates” it was still pretty high and the odds of him being noticed was high.

“Yo get the ship ready we are about to arrive in about a minute, I’m going on ahead you guys go taste the local cuisine or something. Everyone back here by nightfall or so.”

After saying his piece Akira placed the notebook back into his jacket before looking over the side of the boat and leaping over the edge. Before he touched the icy seawater that would spell out his doom he pulled out his snowboard easily catching himself before he fell and causing only the smallest of ripples to form on the surface. A large smile spread across his face as he acknowledged the precision in which he was able to perform the maneuver obviously showing his training had not gone to waste. He soared on the air moving at a leisurely pace and reached the sandy shore before long, sand heh man he loved it. Jumping off his snowboard he leapt right into the sand bank head first. He felt at home when he was around sand more like he was back in Alabasta and with his friends and family. It made him homesick, but he took comfort in knowing the sand was always with him…literally.

”Now what do I do here hmm...”

A very thin, nervous man could be seen walking through the streets of Iron Knife island, glancing left and right. He clutched a piece of paper in his hand, shivering slightly as he walked along. The picture had a number next to it, and was clearly a bounty poster. He had a guitar strung across his back, and his hair, wispy and white, was blowing in the air just a bit. He was a small-timer, a relative nobody at this point. But he was determined, and he clutched the poster tightly. He walked towards the center of town. When he arrived, he climbed atop one of the stands, to much protest from the others there. He held up the poster, letting out a scream.

"I, Alejandro Lopez, the Cactus Kid am here for this man's head! Anyone who knows where Sinne Gehhilfe is can share 10% of the bounty with me. And if Sinne is man enough to fight me himself, then I'll show him what true fear is!"

As Sinne strolled down the streets, whistling as tunelessly as before, a thought occurred to him that really should have occurred to him much earlier in the day, or at least earlier than leaving the tavern. There was a way to get rid of most of the people who could potentially identify him as a pirate without resorting to burning the entire place down. It was a more subtle way and the chef almost mentally slapped himself for forgetting about it. After all, this method employed something that he had with him most of the time and that was a part of him for quite a while. Old men did say that sometimes the answer was right in front of us and you just had to open your eyes. As much as the assassin prided himself in being a masterful tactician, sometimes the thirst for chaos clouded his judgement and made him do things the harder way than they really needed to be. Pleased with himself that he had come up with a decent enough plan, the wraith popped a cigarette into his mouth and lit it on fire using his flame pistol, taking a couple of drags to get the cigarette nice and warm. Replacing the pistol into the belt behind his back, Sinne exhaled the smoke, sending it lazily streaming through the air.

The pirate's good mood did not last for long. Several minutes after his decision about the plan, the chef's ears were assaulted by a grating voice screaming from the top of his lungs about fighting and capturing a certain Sinne Gehhilfe. The assassin almost stopped in his tracts, but forced himself to keep on walking lest he be spotted, his all his skill to blend in with the crowds. As he walked past the area where the man was, for it was shortest path to the tavern, several thoughts entered the wraith's mind. One of these thoughts was primarily why did the man choose his poster to wave around and try to get a bounty. Surely there were other posters with a higher or lower bounty available so it seemed rather strange that the man picked out his particular poster. But it really mattered little why the man picked his particular poster. Hell, it was probably some higher power just trying to be a bully and prove some twisted point. Whatever the reason was, the man was not at the top of his priorities list. Sure it was high on it, but making sure that the people at the tavern who actually saw him would meet a rather untimely end held a higher importance. But the man was certainly going to taken care off, just not now and not in broad daylight in the middle of the crowd.

Passing the area, the assassin quickened his pace, the sooner he was done with his plan, the better. When he was several houses away from the tavern, the wraith slipped into the alley on the same side of the street and proceeded to take off his glasses and yukata safety behind some boxes. Donning his mask and gloves, Sinne stole down the back alleys, heading towards the tavern, his identity concealed by the mask. Nearing the tavern, it did not take long to find the water tank that supplied the tavern with fresh water. While the lid to the tank was locked, it matter little to the pirate. Changing his fingers into mercury, the chef guided said mercury through the thin spaces between the tank and the lid and was pleased to hear dull plopping noises as mercury dropped into the water and sank to the bottom. When he figured enough mercury had accumulated in the water tank, the assassin withdrew his hand from the tank. With enough mercury in the tank, anyone who drank or cooked with the water would find the next couple of days rather unpleasant and the ending especially so. And now was fine to take care of those who simply came in for a drink.

Finding the entrance to the cellar, the wraith turned his body into his elemental form and slid between the spaces in the wood and into the cool room below. After his eyes adjusted to the darkness, after reforming into his human form, it did not take long to find the casks of wine and other liquor. Turning his hand into mercury once again, Sinne proceeded to drip the poison into each cask through the wooden tops. With that deed done, the pirate slipped out of the cellar the same way he came in. Back out in the sunlight, the chef debated whether or not retrieving his yukata or simply going against the bounty hunter before deciding that broad daylight and assassinations did not mix well, even if he wore his mask. After getting back to the boxes, the assassin retrieved his clothing and donned them, taking off the mask and the gloves. Once re-splendid, the wraith came out of the alley and headed back to the area where the man was probably still was, intent on waiting and watching from afar, looking for the opportune moment to silence the imbecile.

As Alejandro stood atop the stall, glancing around the area, one man rose his hand slowly, letting out a polite cough. The bounty hunter glanced at him, raising one of his long, bushy brows and stroking his mustache. "Yes? What's on your mind, hombre?" He slid forward, sinking onto his ass as he glanced at the man. The man pointed off towards the tavern, nodding solemnly. "Saw that man there last night. But if you don't mind my asking...how come I've never heard of you? This Sinne guy is really dangerous, and there's no way someone like you could beat him."

The bounty hunter smiled just slightly, unhooking the guitar from his back. He began to strum a few lines, experimentally; after a moment or two, he even began to croon. The words came out in a slow, dull monotone that drilled into the listener's ears.

"Weeeeell....mi padre was a hunter, his padre was a hunter, his padre was a hunter, his padre was a hunter..."

This went on for several minutes, the man tracing back a family lineage that must've proceeded the Void Century. As the music floated out and he droned on, man after man began to drop to the ground, snoring. After three minutes, he opened his eyes, taking a deep breath.

"Mi madre was...shit. Not again."

He continued to strum the guitar, glancing around as he saw all the felled people...and almost shouted with glee as he noticed something. Sinne Gehhilfe lie on the ground, at the outskirts of the group. Apparantly he'd been trying to hide out, no doubt curious about this would-be, pitiful hunter. Sinne seemed to forget he couldn't hide from sound, though.

Alejandro leapt off of the stall, humming under his breath as he walked towards the man's body. His other hand slid around his neck, unhooking a necklace there, and pressing it to his lips; it was a locket, made of some smooth, polished stone. He tied it around the pirate's neck, then took a few steps back, still strumming the guitar. The seastone touched against the pirate's throat, leaving him as good as helpless as the man reached into a pocket, pulling out a small jar. He stopped playing for only a split second to open the jar, then strolled towards Sinne. He opened the man's mouth forcefully, pouring the contents of the jar into his mouth. He began to massage his throat, watching him swallow reflexively.

He slung his guitar around his back again, leaning forward to pick up the pirate and walking back towards his boat.

The great assassin, one of the greatest Funeral Wraiths, a man worth nearly 60 million beli, had been bested by a man with a guitar, and a completely insignificant story.

Pathetic.

Akira sighed as he lay in the sand his mind thinking back on memories he’d long since bottled up and forgotten. Particularly he kept getting the memory of that crab that used to hunt him in the hard wild deserts of Alabasta during his year of training. While he could easily defeat the crab currently he could remember a time when he went without food for days because of that creature. Being on that last Island with the Gaoh made him think back to those times and the male smiled widely breathing in sand as he did so. One day he’d be able to take down the Gaoh solo without help from anyone or anything except his own strength and powers. Haki. That ability while interesting did not exactly interest him greatly, it seemed as if with his logia ability and seastone gloves he could replicate the same effects to an extent.

Whatever why was he thinking so much, a drink could be good at a time like this he could drowns his memories and worries with the devil’s drink. Sighing deeply the male placed both hands underneath him and pushed himself up into a standing position while dusting himself off. Time to go into town and taste some of the local cuisine and have a little fun, it was possible for a pirate to relax and have a good time without causing havoc everywhere they went. Hell he was a walking example while he did kill when needed he never just walked around attempting to cause misery and mayhem. Looking down at his fist Akira clutched it flexing the muscles in his arm and feeling the power surge through; he had the strength to do so if he wanted. Well then out on the good foot right?

The sand man fixed his jacket before picking up his snowboard and placing on his back once more his eyes looking back towards the ship. The rest would take quite some time to get here so he might as well keep going ahead; he really was starting to get hungry. Placing one foot before the other Akira began to wind his way up the port and through the docks taking note of the expensive ships. This island received a lot of tourism and the people who came here had more money than any he’d ever probably see in his lifetime. Not that he was exactly envious but he always did wonder if he’d still have become a pirate hunter if he had lived a lavish life. It was likely he wouldn’t but who actually knew, no one could change the past nor predict every result of any decision they make. Hindsight could be a real trip at times.

Not like he actually cared he was pretty content with the direction in which his life was currently going, but he may have to return later to “liberate” some of those expensive ships. Without even noticing it the Navigator’s legs had begun to carry him faster till he noticed as things began to actually blur pass him. Damn it. Akira slowed his pace significantly already having entered the town; he entered into the closest bar walking directly up to the bartender. A gruff looking male whose disposition depicted him as a cheery fellow that was nice, at least he’d have no problems here. Looking around he noticed most of the patrons were low bounty pirates he didn’t even want to concern himself with. Capturing them would just be a complete waste of time, hell even the marines might think so.

”Yo my man can I get some rum please?”

The bartender returned his smiled and went behind the counter and emerged a few seconds later tossing him the bottle. Catching it with ease Akira opened the bottle and began to sip from it before immediately spitting the foul substance onto the ground. He began to cough, his throat feeling as if it had been set on fire as he expelled the contents of his stomach. Many other patrons began to mimic his actions while some simply slumped over and passed out, the substance was metallic and Akira grabbed a glass and leapt over the corner pouring himself some water. He began drinking the water he wretched once more tossing the glass to the ground with a laugh crash and the glass skittering across the ground. Gathering his strength Akira looked around to the people within the bar and raised his voice as high as possible so he could be clearly heard.

”Get out now this water is poisoned as well as the liquor find a source of clean water an immediately drink copious amounts of it. Take those who have passed out and get them to a doctor fast now. Everyone needs out of here now Old man is there anyone upstairs?.”

The rush for the door caused some people to be hurt but Akira had already flew up the stairs with inhuman speed opening each door and telling the occupants to evacuate. The last door he opened the woman within did not respond to his urgent pleas, cursing her he rushed to the bed his hand touching her feeling the lack of heat. Oh no. Turning the body around he noticed the lack of signs of life, this woman was dead and he had reason to believe the two weren't connected. Someone was causing havoc and Akira didn’t like it at all, it made him feel as if these guys were being killed just because they were weak.

Growling audibly the martial artist tossed the limp body over his shoulder descending the stairs and exiting the establishment to see the bartender. Setting the body of the female gently at his feet he inquired as to whether or not she had family. It nearly made his heart crack as he heard about the now orphaned child, unable to fully control his anger Akira walked back to the walk of the tavern unleashing a punch packed with all of his strength. The stone gave way beneath his blow and crumbled taking down a large portion of the wall with the single strike. Asking the bartender for forgiveness he asked for the location of the orphaned child to see what he could do. After gaining the address the navigator set out.

His path brought him to a square where he found many people passed out and asleep still alive however; and not even harmed to be honest. Glancing around he noticed the guitar of a fellow he noticed, was that? Could it be? Impossible. Running towards the male and his captive Akira easily passed the duo and moved within sight smiling despite his current troubles. Well then it wasn’t often he met Bounty Hunters as skilled as this one.

”Yo Alejandro what are you doing here? Wait is that Sinne? The pirate? Haha I guess I know now then huh seems like you didn’t even try. Was he a challenge?”

While being technically a pirate through his travels Akira had met many bounty hunters and marines and this particular bounty hunter he liked. The kid was pressing on his mind he had to check on him which meant catching up was short…unless he came with him. Pulling out his notebook Akira found the section on Sinne and crossed out the name well then, one less logia in this world.

”Whatever good job mind coming with me to check on a kid and then maybe catch a drink?”

Constantine was in heaven, despite maintaining the appearance of a perfect lady; her weakness was food. Entering the handle, after exiting the transport ship she was quickly overtaken by the various smells of food coming from every direction. All the while trying to keep her composure, she stood in the middle of the road in the throws of indecision. When suddenly a man atop a stall began to strum his guitar, despite having all sorts of music guitars were rare on her native sky island. So despite it being the most uninteresting song, she couldn't help but find herself interested. Moving closer to secure a better position to observe from, she swiftly pulled out a roll of extols; she would definitely leave something in this guy's hat. She had learned in her short time in the blues, that it was regular practice for entertainers to perform on the roadside and for onlookers to fill their hats with money.

As she approached however, something was not right at all. People were hitting the ground all about her, the guitarist left his perch and proceeded towards a downed man. For a moment Constantine was intrigued, being a thief this seemed like a great strategy for heists, or robberies. It was turning out to be a strange day indeed, as the man applied a necklace to the other and hefted him over his shoulder. <A Kidnapping?!> Constantine quickly decided on a plan of action as she moved forward, she placed her arms behind her back. Which she realized accentuated her figure, although she didn't want to. As she approached however another man closed in on the guitarist, which was even better for her. She concentrated her hands flying free of her wrists, she moved them down around and then up the back of Alejandro to grasp Sinne. If the man's head was worth money it would be hers, if her hands grasped Sinne she would attempt to pull him far in the opposite direction of where she was approaching. As this happened, she spoke. "Excuse me mister, What is that beautiful song?"

He turned, smiling and nodding.

"Glad you asked, it's my life's story! I'd be happy to tell you too, if you-"

Before he could reply, a man leapt from a nearby alleyway, tackling the man and punching him in the throat. He immediately jumped up, scampering away as he cackled madly.

The Throat Puncher, a pirate with a bounty of roughly 700 beli had struck again. It seemed Sinne had been saved just as he had been beaten; entirely by accident.

Pretty silly, really.

In a few short moments Constantine had learned a few key details; her hostage was a pirate, a weak one i nfact. He had just been defeated by a guitarist who was then promptly punched in the throat and expired, the inspired concerns. Had the stealing of this target been even worth her time, she could have been enjoying some wonderful meal from one of the many stalls about her. But instead she headed into the next alley, as she did this she telekinetically guided her hands, and her hostage onto a roof. She doubted highly this was worth her time, but decided to discover for herself. Leaping she caught hold of a window seal, and scrambled pulling herself up and leaping from that ledge. Soon she was atop the roof proper.

Approaching the man she decided she didn't like him, he gave her the impression of a scumbag she'd rather rid the world of. Kneeling close she began to examine the things on his person, she quickly found the collection of gadgets the man carried. They weren't her to her tastes at all, three objects which transformed into some other shape; a necklace, and a pair of bracelets. She was sure the man thought very highly of himself, it was then that she touched upon the second necklace the man was wearing. She could feel for an instant the aura of the sea, snatching her hand back she shook her head. <So that is how he was defeated.> A deep curiosity inside her begged for her to awake the man, and but for a moment she was going to. But then she came back to herself, <Nah.>

She then kneeled again reaching around the man's head to grasp his chin;, she pulled from the back of his head with her opposite hand, and her right placed on the chin. If successful his head would be twisted all the way in the wrong direction, and he'd be dead. Standing she turned and looked back towards the sea, her work was done here.

Fortunately for the otherwise unfortunate Sinne (Pronounced Sin), it was not in fact his neck that had snapped. The necklace, while seastone, was actually clasped by a delicate silver hook assembly. Being fixed tightly to Sinne's (Pronounced Sin's) neck, the necklace had it's clasp popped at the sudden jerking movement of C0nstantine trying to snap his neck around and fell off. Seconds later, a bird swooped down and stole the necklace.

Having been suddenly freed from the suppressing power of the seastone, Sinne (Pronounced Sin) reflexively turned to mercury for a split-second. This was all it took, however; his neck was not broken but merely pulled to an odd angle. With C0nstantine assuming him dead, a few moments after she had left Sinne (Pronounced Sin) returned to his original shape, neck unbroken.

A short moment later, Sinne (Pronounced Sin) found himself blinking back to awareness. There was no sign of the ridiculously unmemorable singing bounty hunter, nor of anyone else for that matter. Alone on the rooftop, confused but otherwise none the worse for wear, Sinne (Pronounced Sin) was free to resume his boring, one-dimensional evil misadventures.

A moment after the seastone necklace was taken off, Sinne's eyes burst open and he carefully looked around, the eyes swiveling in their sockets, somewhat confused to be located on what appeared to be a roof, if the blue sky and windows of the nearby buildings were anything to go by. The pirate tried to figure out how he got onto the roof but failed to do so. The last thing he remembered was walking back to where the man was shouting his name when he saw people before him dropping like flies. Before he could react, his eyes were closing as well and he was feeling very sluggish like. He had never experienced anything like that so now he was spooked. Not only did he for some reason fall asleep, but people knew that he was on the island, and this probably included the Marines. He would have to go over this incident in more detail when he was safe and sound, something that he was not at the moment. Trying to rise his hand to massage his eyes, the assassin found that his hand would not listen. Well, he could feel it twitching but it would not rise nor move any significant distance. A small panic set it for the chef figured that his neck was broken before he noticed a vile spicy taste if Mexican cuisine.

This realization had somewhat calmed down the wraith since it meant that his body was still whole and instead he was merely poisoned. While usually this would not be a good development, it did mean that it would wear off eventually, and knowing the properties of Mexican, the wearing off was going to be fairly quick but also quite painful, especially in his colon region. However, that was a worry for later. Right now, he had to get off the roof and hide somewhere else someone unsavory might find him here and that wouldn't be very good for him. Given that his strength was mostly gone, the only way left was his devil ability and hope that no one with seastone was about. Especially not any pirates with a bounty who liked to pretend that they were a bounty hunter. Activating his powers, Sinne felt a pool of mercury being created under him and spread out at an intense speed, going over the edge of the roof in a silver waterfall. It was then that saw a man approaching him at a rather extreme speed, thought the pirate followed it decently enough no react to it.

The assassin barely managed to start turning into mercury when the hand began to close in around him. Since his chest was the biggest target, that was where the hand was most likely going. However, as the hand began to close around the chef's body, instead of squishy flesh, it was met with a legendary material vest. With the metal barrier between the seastone and the body, the contact merely delayed the transformation for half a moment and another half a moment later, the wraith's body turned into mercury and was speeding away over the edge of the roof. The failure of the seastone to stop the transformation and Sinne's slightly higher speed would probably have given him enough opportunity to get off the roof and allow his mercury body to hide on top of the mercury pool spreading across the ground for at least a block around, the body completely indistinguishably from the other mercury. Once on the ground, if he got there, the pirate would look around and notice a drain near his location. Figuring that that would be the first place the other man would look for him, the assassin would follow the spreading mercury into the street and the crowds, hopefully making it even harder for anyone to track him.

While this was happening, a sizable Marine force, led by Captain Travis McCoy, had been dispatched to deal with the situation. Since the Marine forces are prominent on the island, it did not take long at all for the news of people falling asleep and a sighting of two pirates with a high bounty to reach the Marines. As such, Captain Travis was dispatched to deal with the problem. McCoy arrived just in time to see one of the pirates dash away following another one. Giving the order to deal with the sleeping people, the Captain followed the pirates albeit at a slower pace. Reaching the roof of a nearby building, in one jump, his legs transforming into mountain goat legs, just in time to see one pirate attack the second one, who turned into a silvery liquid as the liquid dropped from the roof. "Now, wha' do 'e hav' 'ere?" Travis asked, spitting on the rooftop and pulling out two guns. "Yur undur arrest sonny. Com' quietly." the Captain said, aiming one gun at Akira and the other one down into the alley way, hoping to catch a glance of the second pirate. Cocking the hammers to spin the chambers, Travis coated each bullet with haki just in case the first pirate turned out to be a logia too.

Akira felt his hand touch something like a vest, a substance that did not give way under the martial artist's somewhat powerful grasp. Somehow the fellow had evaded the strike using some sort of armor and then falling back onto his logia abilities. A large tidal wave like force of the silver colored mercury flowed outward from the male as he escaped off the roof. No matter Akira had already leapt into the sky avoiding the mercury itself, his feet touching down a few meters out of the way. His eyes looked towards the fleeing male with a sigh, he hated when they ran, it always made things that much harder in the end. He'd be sure to torture the little scamp when he caught him, he had bigger problems currently however. The sound of rushing feet and heavy breathing alerted the pirate hunter to the presence of the famed marine force arriving to restore "order".

Sighing once more with the expression of a fellow truly feed up with all the things going on that he simply wanted to get a drink. Of course he could take out these mooks without even trying hard, hell he could always summon up those guys from Kazehara's ship to fight for him. Ehh none of that really appealed to his interests at the moment he'd just kill Sinne at a later date. It was the smartest move currently, he wa pretty sure the rest of the frostbites wouldn't want to coe to the island to find Akira had been put in prison and their ship captured. That would probably prompt a rescue of the pirate hunter and the ship and then his demise shortly after. Actually it wa about time Akira took up his mantle as a pirate, hell he was a pirate, he just wasn't the avergae one.

Well it was about time he vanished from the scene and got back to Yogi before the giant bear came searching for him. If that happened there would be little to no chance of him getting out of this without violence. Carefully the sand man took off his gloves placing them once more into his bag feeling the use of his logia abilities return to him once more. The cock of a gun and a voice caused Akira to stop in his tracks and glance around however. The fellow's voice was gruff and his way of speaking was odd enough to pique Akira's interest. The fact that this guy was confident enough to confront both pirates simultanously said something about his power. Well then seems like running away would not be as easy as before now, this would be a drag, if this guy proved to be his equal or higher, winning would be hard.

"Sorry I have things to do prison just doesn't sound like fun how about you go ask that pirate with a 60 million beil bounty on his head his thoughts on the matter."

Without any movement from Akira sand would begin to coat everything around the two in a sphere like shape. Once his sand had spread the martial artist would snap his fingers creating thirty large one meter spikes of sand that would not only devastate the regular marine mooks but shade him from view as well as he took off across the rooftops heading back in the direction of his ship. If he could just outrun this guy long enough to get to the ship he'd be in good enough shape to just get the fuck on.
Chaos in a confined space is never a pleasant experience.

"Dem damned 'rits 'er always be a pain in 'ze ass." The goat man had his doubts about the entire thing, whether or not him and his force would even be necessary to deal with the two logias; at this point he was sure he was right. Because of the reason for their dispatch, there was not a man among them that couldn't hold their own in a real fight, and the ones currently under threat from the attack from the sand spikes were more than capable to rip them asunder with attackers of their own, though a few that were not on guard or simply could not react in time to destroy the spike received some moderate puncture wounds, though the total damage was little more than a inconvenience The remainder of the group were four very able body commanders, all wearing a number of scowls that would make even the most evil of people rethink fucking with them at the moment.

Now, while it may have been quite the easy task for the captain to go and hunt those two logias down himself, he quickly received a call from a superior over his den den mushi, how was nibbling on the food he had hidden in one of his pockets, buzzing loudly to bring such a thing to light. "Yu damned 'ack. Yur gonna regret that!" But of course there was no time to be fighting with a communication device, and he quickly reached into his pocket and answered the call. "This is rear admiral Erks. McCoy, do you read me? We're going to be requesting you to move to the docking area on the pan, along with the rest of your group. Effective immediately." The captain paused, unsure of just what this was about. Was his superior aware that he and his group were currently in the process of tailing two high profile logia? "Su ur sayin' sur 'zat we'll be-" He was cut off by a loud groan on the other end the line followed by a very stern reply. "How many times have I told you this McCoy? I've said it again and again; that drawl you use is terrible on just about anyone's ears. Talk normal or don't talk at all."

The tone in that voice was serious, and there was only one thing that the chef marine could do. "Sorry sir, won't happen again sir. I'll be on my way. But we will need reinforcements to go after the two logia that were causing trouble around here." There was silence for a while on the other end, but eventually it all stopped. "Two logia? You mean Izuru Kazeharu and Leander Hastings? Those two?" There was a hearty chuckle, followed by cooled words. "No, not them, two others. One we identified as a man named Hakirai Battaosaí and and another Sinne Getahlife, or something along those lines. I don't know anything much about those two, so forgive any wrong pronunciations." In front of the mushi the other man nodded and stroked his chin, sighing to himself; today, he felt, was going to turn more difficult than it needed to be. "Alright, I'll send Looker and Sword after that Sinne fellow, who's known to be hard to find. That other one is more of a mystery, but I'm sure i'll think of someone capable. Where's your current position, and where were they headed when they fled, if they did at all?"

It didn't take long for the other marine to tell the other what he needed to know. It was short and right to the point, and soon the captain was headed for the docks; funny how the man that tried to slaughter his group was headed in the same direction.
