This is what it is:

Subsidized Notoriety
BountyRankThreat
50 SD5,000,000Lieutenant Jr. Grade5
100 SD15,000,000Lieutenant15
150 SD30,000,000Lieutenant Commander30
200 SD50,000,000Lieutenant Commander50
300 SD75,000,000Commander75
400 SD125,000,000Captain125

I find problems with how it currently is, specifically with marines, for the following reasons:

1. 150 and 200 SD give you the exact same thing. This is not the case for the other two.

2.
Look familiar?

Now, let's compare the two charts: In almost all cases, the two don't match up. For the second in Mook Gain, it puts Commander on par with 30 M and 30 Threat as far as notoriety goes; third puts Captain on level with 50 and 50; fourth puts Commodore on the level of 100 and 100.

On the first chart, however, Commander is put on par with 75 and 75, 250% more than in the second; Captain with 125 and 125, also 250%; you can't even scoop into Commodore yet its supposed to be on par with stuff you can get by scooping a 400 sd character, while scooping into a marine would get you a rank (68 commendations) below.

3. Let's look at the progression of how much more threat you can get on each level of the "Subsidized Notoriety" chart with bounty and threat.

First Level: +5
Second Level: *3
Third Level: *2
Fourth Level: *5/3
Fifth Level: *1.5
Sixth Level: *5/3

Now let's look at the progression of commendations you scoop into with the same system.

First Level: +3
Second Level: *2
Third Level: *5/3
Fourth Level: *1
Fifth Level: *2
Sixth Level: *1.6

Now, I'm not trying to sound mean or anything, I'm just pointing out what I think to be flawed; personally, I've always thought the marines got the short end of the stick in scooping since we first used this; this update just gives a stronger (perhaps the strongest) claim as to why. At the end of the day, it should be equal among all levels, and whether that means the same multiplier on commendations as it is for bounty and threat or something that more closely resembles the new mook gain system, I think it should be fixed. If it was in my power to present an idea on how, then I would. But this isn't my area of work and quite frankly, cmods have a better idea on how they want these two systems to work.

So yeah, just something to considerate if you would. And as always, if I make no sense, tell me and I'll try to word stuff more clearly. Thanks.

P.S. I guess I do have an idea on how to fix it, but I'll only give it if you guys really want it. As I said, not my area of expertise.

Look who woke up. But it's better late than never.

I support this btw, in case you are just wondering this is some random troll or commentary.

There's a massive commendation gap between Captain and Commodore. I think the whole marine commendation system thing needs to be reworked.
