Was just wondering if the transistion from basic to advance cyborg takes 2 traits (building off of the trait of basic cyborg) or 3. Either way, I know I am not close, but I was wondering so that I can plan ahead

Look at it this way: Once you have the Advanced Cyborg trait, there's no reason to still have the Basic Cyborg trait, so that basically disappears. So it's just 3 total (or 2 more traits if you want to look at it that way).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though

Advanced Cyborg (3 Traits) - This is a high-tech cyborg, rarely encountered anywhere but the Grand Line. A character must be within the Grand Line to access this kind of technology. Advanced Cyborgs begin with up to 12M Beli worth of modifications. They are made of steel and may be constructed of materials up to titanium in strength, and may have additional body parts added. Their size may vary from their original form at a cost. Each arm may conceal two weapons and each leg may conceal one. Additionally, they may externally mount cybernetics/weapons at this stage. Cyborgs of this type may have multiple special systems, though moderators may enforce a limit eventually. Upgrades from Basic Cyborg modifications are maintained and do not count against Advanced maximums.

So, going Human=>Regular Cyborg=> Adv Cyborg is simply better than going directly Human => Adv Cyborg.

Could use some fixing, IMO, Or I'm not reading it right.

Blades is correct, Advanced replaces Basic so it's only a 2 trait cost when you upgrade from basic to advanced.

Don't see why it's better since the only advantage from the growth is saving 3 million. 3 million really isn't that much, those basic mods still count towards the limit of modifications one can have. If you purposely want to wait to save 3 mil be my guest.

So if you are in the grand line and have those 3 traits to spend, you pick Basic and 2 traits in fated, you have to do an sl so you can upgrade. Picking basic, getting approved then spending traits towards that is plain out cheating and you'll feel how we feel about cheating.

I don't quite understand what you are saying here, are you saying that starting as a basic cyborg, then after going GL upgrading is cheating? I really don't get it, although I'm probably just being dumb

What he means is scooping a character into the Grand Line who you intend to give Advanced Cyborg to but, at registration, give him Basic Cyborg at first and then, after approval, upgrade to Advanced Cyborg to save yourself 3 million beli.

If you read it in context it makes perfect sense... First how it does work and then how it doesn't... Don't see how I worded it confusingly...
