The haze of hot air made the streets of Ariel Island uncomfortable to wander, but the shade and cool air inside the bar known as "Drooling Seaking" countered it in such a way that it was perfectly bearable. Despite this, not many patrons were out eating or drinking today. Though the few that were there were treated to, or perhaps burdened with, the amazing show that was Kaji devouring a plate full of steaks. Not one, but four 40 oz T bones, disappearing one after another into Kaji's mouth as he tore the meat from the bone and gnawed the scraps off it. A feat most grown men couldn't tackle without bursting their stomachs. However, Kaji's ravenous appetite was not satisfied with his previous meal of rice and grilled pineapples, and so he moved on to the tower of meat. Pulling a wad of beli from his pocket, Kaji slapped it on the counter to get the bartender's attention. The sound of the metal claws on the end of Kaji's gauntlets scraping on the wooden counter certainly did draw attention.

"Oi chef! Another round of steaks please!" Kaji said with half a mouthful of food, while flashing a charming smirk. "I could eat like this until I pass out! You've got a good recipe for cooking meat!" The cook chuckled to himself. "Well, it could be you're just a glutton, but thanks anyway..." Doing his best to convey his appreciation, Kaji continued as he put away another mouthful of beef. "Oi, if you can hold your own you could join my crew, we need a chef who can cook this well." The cook smiled, half embarrassed from Kaji's sincerity, half leaning towards the flintlock underneath the counter, just in case the boy tried to pull anything funny. After all, it was a pirate he was dealing with, kid or not. Blissfully unaware of the cook's weariness, Kaji continued on eating. "Although..." Kaji said, slowing down only for a moment. "I can't shake this feeling, feels like a bad omen hanging over me, like something's about to hit the fan..." Kaji laughed, a sparkle in his eyes. "Feels exciting though!"

A gulp of booze in the humid air. Umbert Redstone was drinking again, as usual. He had just left one dark lair of alcohol, and was in search of another. Ariel Island had been pretty boring so far, since the rest of the Krakens seem to have disappeared complete. It can't be helped, he thought to himself, taking a breath of air as he broke the seal of the bottle's neck from his gullet. Those twerps are always gettin' lost! He cackled to himself, drawing the attention of some passers by, but a maniacal glare on his part had them hurrying on their way soon enough. They'll learn. He thought to himself, before a hanging sign and a pair of inviting saloon doors caught his eyes. The Drooling Seaking.

Barging through the door with his shoulder, Umbert finished the bottle of sake, before approaching the bar and slamming the empty bottle down on to the wooden surface. "Oi, barkeep!" He bellowed, grinning like a ravening wolf at the cook, who nervously looked back at him, his fingers resting on the flintlock under the counter. "Any chance of gettin' some booze in this dump??"

The barkeep grimaced, before taking his hand of the gun and giving Umbert his best customer-service smile. "Of course we do, sir. That'll be 200 beli for a bottle of our finest beer." Umbert's eyebrow raised in a mixture of surprise and offense, as his loud demeanor dropped slightly for a displeased frown, the predatory look in his eye never fading.

"Ehh? I'll have teh taste this before I can even consider payin' so much for it! Bring i' here!" Umbert growled, his hand squeezing the bottle on the bar, causing the glass to crack, but not shatter just yet. The cook quickly retreated to the shelves, where he brought down a plain brown bottle, and traveled along the bar to offer it to Umbert. The pirate thoughtlessly snatched the bottle out of his hand, before taking a large swig, allowing his old bottle to roll off the bar and smash on the floor, startling a few people close by.

Lowering the bottle from his lips, Umbert grimaced, before blindly spitting what was in his mouth sideways in a show of disgust, right into the side of the head of some dark-skinned kid, who was half-way through consuming a large plate of steaks.

"Oi, I wouldn't pay ten beli fer this dreg! Yeh tryin' teh kill me, grease-monkey?!" Letting out a growl of irritation, Umbert reached across to grab the chef by the front of his apron. The man reached out for the flintlock, but his hand missed the weapon by mere centimeters. Slamming him down on his back on the bar with one hand, Umbert discarded the bottle of beer and had one of his steel axes at the barman's throat in a second.

"Ah've had fuck-all teh do in this town but get drunk. Nice of yeh teh give me somethin' else teh do, like rip yer head off! Gra-da-daa!" Umbert cackled, his face inches above the chef's, who looked back at him with fearfully wide eyes.

"Oi, what do you think you're doing? That guy was giving me good food!" A voice from beside Umbert sounded, making the short pirate turn his head to the source of defiance.

The dark skinned kid had looked up from his steaks, and was now giving Umbert a hostile stare. The chef looked at him pleadingly as Umbert glanced at the metal claw on his hand.

"Well, this just gets better an' better!" Umbert exclaimed, his grin growing even wider as he shoved the chef back over the bar, the man landing in a heap out of sight. "First the cook wants teh poison me with his crappy booze, an' now we've got a vigilante! Show me how yeh use them claws, boy!"

Umbert let out a roar of challenge, as he raised the axe with one hand over from his elevated position and swung down, aiming to bring it down on Kaji's head and shoulders.
"If violence can't solve yer problems, then you aren't usin' enough of it!"

A metallic clanking noise rang out as the iron clad form of Saphira entered the bar, after walking for a while you tended to get quite hot in late armour. Therefore what she wanted was quite simple, something to drink, and perhaps a bite, nothing fancy. However upon witnessing what was going on inside her plans changed, at least for the moment. A good bar brawl seemed to be starting up and there were just no way she would be missing that. A clawed boy were being assaulted by what looked to be a bearded midget with a pair of large axes.

Smirking behind her helmet she spoke out, her voice being distorted by the metal to the point where it echoed "Mind if I join in" It was less of a question and more of a statement, with a metallic sliding noise she pulled her sword out, it pushed a chair or two away as she pointed it right at Umbert. Had her face been visible a grin would have been plainly visible, she never declined an offer for a fight, and if she read the mood correctly this one would have been asked if she had been here when it started. And that was close enough for her "They call me the Black Knight, Give me your best" that would do as an introduction. Taking a large step forward she swung her giant sword in a sideways arc straight at the midget smashing several chairs in the process.

"Oi, what do you think you're doing? That guy was giving me good food!" Kaji might not be the type to get between every bar fight that went down around him, but the this particularly short fellow seemed to be a pain in the ass of a pretty high caliber. Barging into a bar, demanding booze then attacking the bartender, honestly, immature people like that give pirates a bad name. Kaji was hoping that calling out the short man in the middle of his performance would get him to back down, but it only seemed to excite him. Without even bothering to ask for a fight, the stranger pulled out an axe and brought it down on Kaji. Seeing the attack coming in advance, Kaji raised his arm and blocked the incoming attack with his arm. The blow had dangerous force to it, forcing Kaji to drop the steak he was holding to form a proper defense. "Now you've done it..." Kaji uttered in an annoyed tone, covering up the excitement he felt knowing he would have the chance to train in combat today.

"I might have let you walk before, but after this I'm going to rip that ugly beard off your underdeveloped midget face!" But just as Kaji pushed off the man's axe and got to his feet, his guard still raised, a second stranger waltzed into the bar, in a full suit of armor. Something about the tall presence in all black armor made Kaji feel very uneasy. In fact, the figures first words were the expressing it's intent to join the fight. "Eh, no, I don't think this is what you think... it..." Kaji was at a loss for words at the sight of the massive blade that the armor clad stranger wore. The stranger raise it's blade towards. The stranger identified himself as the Black Knight, a name that resonated with Kaji's inner desire to have a really cool alias. "Tch, this seems totally random, but I guess there's no stopping you two." Kaji stretched and then clenched his hands, popping his knuckles in the process, before raising them in a claw formation.

"Let's see if you two are good enough to fight with a dragon!" Moving with remarkable dexterity for someone in armor and swinging such a large weapon, the Black Knight brought his blade across the bar, still aimed towards Umbert. Due to the strike not being aimed towards Kaji, he was easily able to leap over the swing and roll to the side. On one hand, this would be a good chance to escape, on the other, pass up a chance to fight against someone called "The Black Knight"? That would simply be out of character. Instead, Kaji decided to teach the knight a valuable lesson about not taking your eyes off the most dangerous opponent. Pulling back his arm, Kaji let loose a powerful four claw shockwave, aimed directly towards the Black Knight. "Giganto Ryu Tsume!"

Umbert swung the axe down, the grin of an eager predator plastered on his face as his blade clashed against the boy's metal claw. Slowly applying pressure, he reached with his other hand to unsheathe his second weapon, with the intent of slashing the boy across the chest whilst he was focusing on keeping up his defense. The kid was keeping Umbert at bay quite well, a testament to his physical strength, Umbert gave him that. He would be a good fight.

But as Umbert prepared to strike low, a large armored figure entered the bar, and immediately took interest in the fight. Declaring her interest, what turned out to be a woman drew a large claymore from her back, and swung hard in a wide arc straight at Umbert. It was all the pirate could do to pull out his other axe just to block the blade, the force of the attack still sending Umbert skittering across the bar, smashing a dozen bottles before catching himself on the edge where the bar turned into the wall, saving himself from crashing over the bar in a heap like the barkeeper had done just a few moments before.

Climbing back into view, Umbert saw the boy had turned his attention to the armored knight, and was striking back with his clawed hand. Umbert's lips curled into a grin, as he climbed back atop the bar. Breaking into a run down the length of the bar, Umbert raised his axes over his head, before leaping off the bar at the last moment towards the two combatants.

"Le's see yeh handle this! Redstone Execution!" He yelled, slashing down both axes in an X-shape, aiming to strike both of his opponents.

Feeling the satisfying impact of her blade as it sent the midget across the bar Saphiras grin widened behind the helmet, the little man were sturdy enough to not take much damage from the attack which boded well for the fight. Having it end after a measly one hit would never satisfy her lust for battle, she noticed that the clawed boy jumped over her blade before vanishing to her side, and by 'vanishing' she meant 'slipped out of her view' the helmet might be a sensible way to protect your head but it sure limited your field of vision.

Not feeling comfortable with letting an armed opponent out of her view the Knight continued her natural path forward and spun around just in time to reply to the boys ridiculous claim of being a dragon "Dragon? more like an overgrown kitten!" her echoing voice still retaining the half joking tone. Though while she may call him a kitten the incoming attack sure was more along the lines of a tiger. Reacting quickly she flipped her sword so that the broadside was facing the shockwave, holding it up to cover her most vital areas.

It felt as if someone hid her with a hammer when the attack hit, the sword protecting her torso and head but her left and right arms as well as the side of her body taking the attack. Her armour served its purpose in protecting her and weakening the attack, however it got torn in a claw shaped slash that ripped the suit of armour open, not to a major degree on behalf of the shape of the shockwave but she still began to bleed.

The Knight did not dilly dally, with the midget coming in for a counter attack she said"Good one, now it's my turn!" before taking a stance with both hands holding her sword, with the boy on her right and the midget on her left, both within the reach of her sword it would be a shame to not attack both at once, making a rather small leap forward so that she wouldn't to far away from then she called out "Fang!" bringing her weapon out in a massive spinning slash that completely smashed a table and some chairs in the process, sending what had been on said table flying in all directions. On further thought it might have been the table the boy had been sitting at.

Her attack would no doubt clash with that of the midget, question was how the boy would deal with it.

Seeing his attack make contact, Kaji grinned. "I'll teach you who to call a kitten, when I break that overweight sword over your head!" Focusing all the energy in his body, Kaji released a rush of adrenaline into his system. "Ryu Sutanpu!" The impact had damaged the knight's suit of armor, which pleased Kaji, it meant that he wouldn't be much more of a problem then an unarmored person if his long range attacks could tear through that easily. But there was still the matter of that huge sword... and of course, the second opponent.

The midget came in for a double attack with his axes, while the Black Knight pulled back his sword for a powerful swing. "I don't like where this is going..." Kaji mumbled to himself as he acted out of desperation. He jumped back, trying to get onto the side of Umbert, while launching another attack at him. "Giganto Ryu Tsume!" Kaji shouted as he struck the air and sent the four waves flying towards Umbert, hoping to knock him into the path of the Black Knight's swing while avoiding both attacks himself.

Umbert grinned as he plunged forward, letting out a bellowing challenge to any who dared cross his attack. However, the boy managed to duck out of the way of the attack in time, just in time for the armoured woman's attack to clash with Umbert's.

The two forces bore against one another for a few moments, before the superior strength of the woman forced Umbert back, his feet skidding across the floor as he ground to a halt.

"Quit doin' that!" Umbert yelled, twisting his body into position, "Ah'll show you, yeh bloody tin-can wench! Redstone Hurricane!"

(Roll of 4 = Successful) Throwing himself into a wild spin, Umbert quickly picked up momentum until he was a whirling dervish of axe-blades. Surging forward again, he attempted to hack his way through the woman's armour. But the steel plating was simply too thick, as he railed off it uselessly. However, his spinning moved slowly around the side of her large form, in the direction of the clawed boy who he had first picked his fight with.

Umbert was apparently oblivious to this, focussing on the armoured woman. "Dammit, crack already!"

Infuriatingly enough the boy managed to jump out of the way of her attack, however the midget got caught in its range, the axes clashed with her sword for a few moments before the midget were pushed back. He didn't seem to suffer any damage with his weapons taking the brunt of the Fang technique. However the attack did serve to enrage him quite a bit, she kind of liked his style as opposed to the kitten boy who lacked to courage to face her head on.

She watched in fascination as the midget performed what seemed to be a more advanced form of her own previous Technique, momentarily forgetting she were fighting the guy the spinning top midged collided with her form, causing sparks and small shards of her armour to be sent in every direction, then the midgets momentum caused him to slide off her and position himself in line with the Boy. That was a stroke of luck, since more than a few seconds of contact with that attack would likely tear her armour to shreds, one of the straps snapped as if to put emphasis on her thoughts.

Jumping back she noted how the boy had just launched another of those shockwaves, lucky for the Knight the midget were in the way so it would be his problem this time, raising her sword straight up above her own head it went through the wooden roof of the bar with little trouble, the owner must have been cheap when he made it, the wood was very thin and proved little resistance to her strength.

"Hey Boy, dodge this!" she then brought the sword down with all the power she could possibly produce "Guillotine Swing!" A massive shockwave tore the very bar apart as it shot straight at the claw wielding Boy, unless the axe wielding man moved out of the way he would be hit by the edge of the shockwave, and if he moved to the right he would be in the path of the soockwave.

The shockwave left nothing in its wake, only a gash in the floor and dust were left behind it. The bar would hardly be fit for serving drinks after this attack had been completed. Finishing her attack Saphira leapead backward, grabbing her second weapon thus far left by the door to the establishment. It would look like a very large rifle with a sword like bayonet attached. If her shockwave did not finish off at least one of her enemies she would use her trump card. Holding her sword in one hand and the 'Rifle' in the other she awaited what would happen next. In reality she put some distance between herself and the enemies since she doubted her armour could take another attack before turning into scrap metal.

Seeing the midgit man take a shot at the knight but fail to break through his armor pleased Kaji. It assured him at least that the man didn't have strength superior to Kaji, which left the knight as his only major concern. "It's too bad things ended up like this, being so rough." Chuckling as he looked towards the Black Knight, Kaji stepped forward, ready to unleash his next powerful attack. "After I beat you, I want you to join my crew!" Focusing his breath, Kaji prepared to release a rush of adrenaline into his system, giving him the boost he needed to rush the knight and get in past the effective range of his sword. "Ryu..."

But his attack was cut off as he noticed that with the midget out of the picture, the knight had prepared an attack of his own. Calling out Kaji, through yet another insulting title, the Black Knight swung his massive blade into the ground with such force it seemed to cause the entire floor of the bar to quiver and explode. "Shit!" Kaji exclaimed as he raised his arms to defend himself, not quite sure of what he was blocking. He had never seen a shockwave that traveled along a surface like that before. The shockwave hit Kaji head on, and at first he thought he could block it, but with the floor beneath him caving in and the sheer force of the attack he was knocked backwards through the wall. The wave seemed so ferocious that it tore at Kaji's body as it sent him flying, punching a jagged hole through the wall as Kaji was sent flying into the alley.

Kaji sailed across the street before crashing into the building across from the bar headfirst. "Aah.... ah! My... everything!" Struggling to gather himself, Kaji realize he had sustained serious injuries across his arms and chest, not to mention the blow to the head. Even if he did attack again, his arm strength was so compromised that his attacks would no longer be able to penetrate the armor, and he would lose so much blood exerting himself he very well may pass out. Regardless, he had to stand, had to find another way to attack, no way could he let the Black Knight slip away from him. Not like this!

Using the wall as support, Kaji shakily got to his feet. He put one foot precariously in front of the other, shuffling forward like a zombie, arms dripping blood down his gauntlets. He grabbed the inside of the hole in the wall and stepped inside. "Oi... Don't think you can stop the captain of the Draco Pirates so eas-shit!" Kaji cried out in a mix of exclamation and embarrassment as the remnants of floor around the wall gave in, causing Kaji to reach forward desperately as if taking a leap of faith, taking down a section of wall with them. Hands flailing to no avail as he fell shouting a vast assortment of bad words, Kaji hit the basement floor with a heavy thud and was assaulted with a barrage of falling chunks of wall, burying him entirely. Though not so badly damaged he couldn't have escaped, the head trauma combined with the sheer shame of falling in such a hilarious manner caused him to slip into unconsciousness.
