Sitting in the middle of town, playing his Spanish guitar under the beaming sun, the young man in the black hat waited. A cool glass of water stood by his feet in which he occasionally took sips on to keep himself hydrated as he awaited his opponents or possibly opponent. His black jacket rustled in the wind, his fingers gently picked at the strings to set the mood of how he was feeling. An open invitation had been sent out, the best of the best fighters around this area would begin to clutter up this area in no time. He had gone from anxious to a bit aggravated and then finally bored. The sweet sound of his music kept him entertained for the time being but who knew how long that would last. The town itself was exceptionally wide giving enough space for any fighting to occur in the middle of it. The people of the town were inside their homes and businesses, watching the man with extreme patients. They wanted to see a fight but didn't want to get involved. There were rumors about putting up bets as to who would win but it was quickly shut down. No one knew who would show up and it just seemed like the man was sitting in the middle by himself. No a soul in the horizon, not even a glimpse of a dot walking towards his location. Nothing but the beaming sun and brown dry dirt. Yet the man continued to wait without fail. |

Theo walked along the dirt street, in his passing leaving footprints several inches deep as his heavy body moved through the town. In one hand, the ex-Marine clutched his staff, in the other was the flyer that advertised a fight with some random man in some random part of town. While he usually did not do this kind of thing, fight random people just based on a challenge, this time was different. This time he was not in a good mood. His alcohol had ended two days before and he did not have the money to buy any more. True he could always steal some, but this island had a heavy Marine populace. So he was kind of surprised when the challenge for a fight came. The chef guessed that the Marine sponsored the event for recruitment purposes and were probably having some sort of betting pool going on. Oh well, he could use an excuse to blow off some steam. Dropping the paper on the ground, Theo finally came up upon the man that issued the challenge, just sitting there, playing his guitar and pissing him off. "You the one fucker who issued the challenge?" Theo asked to confirm just in case and putting his second hand onto the staff. |

Diego never stopped playing his guitar for a single moment. He had watched the old man since he was a little dot in the distance. He found himself a bit disappointed, was this all there was to the challenge. To think an old man had the balls to challenge him and not someone worth a good fight. It looked as tho father time here was just about done living and wanted to out with a bang, but Diego wasn't interested in any of that. Putting an old man out of his misery wasn't why he issued the challenge, in fact it never even crossed his mind. "Go home old man, there's nothing for you here. If you wanna die so badly, wait it out. Time will get you soon enough." The guitarist never stopped playing his guitar as he spoke to the man, never even looked into the old man's eyes. Diego of course noticed his well built physical appearance but that didn't stop the fact that he wanted someone more youthful to fight. What could this old man provide besides slow, strong punches which Diego could avoid and counter on. It was a slaughter match and he wanted no part of it. |

Did this young punk seriously just call him old enough to have one foot in the grave? Not only did he issue a challenge that got Theo's ass up and moving, much to his dismay, he now wasn't going to make it worth his while by disregaring and under estimating him? Well this kid and his annoying guitar are gonna get what was coming to them. Justice. Sometimes it was good to be under estimated since it gave you an element of surprise, which could prove to be life saving under the right circumstances. "First of all, don't ya know that it is rude to point out people's age, and second of all, don't judge a book by its cover." Theo replied, keeping his voice calm. Plus, it doesn't seem like you have or probably will have any takers so I suggest you take what you can get." Theo continued, getting into a defesive posture, placing the staff horizontally at chest level. If one was being under estimated, it usually was not a good idea to reveal your hand by attacking first.

Diego stopped playing his guitar and picked up the glass of water at his feet. He chugged the water down, letting the liquid fall out the corners of his mouth and down his chin all the way to his chest. His black undershirt became a bit damped and wet, cooling off his burning skin under his black leather jacket. He looked around and saw no other person in sight, it seemed the old man's words were right. But that didn't stop the fact that Diego believed this was an underestimating and down right disrespectful action. The old man really believed he could take on the young musician. Diego would have to do something about this, besides he could use a warm up before anyone else showed up. "Alright old timer, I can see you're not leaving with out a fight. I'll take you on, but don't blame me when you break a hip. And don't think I'll be going easy on you just cause you're old, that shit doesn't fly with me. You got the balls to keep fighting at your age then you must have to expectation of dying, simple as that." The musician placed his guitar on the ground and kicked it to his left. It slid on the ground until it finally touched the wooden porch of a nearby bar. He took his hat off and tossed it to his right, spinning it before he tossed it so that it may twirl in the air before safely landing in the same position it laid on his head. His jacket was the last thing to remove before he could fully fight and that was tossed in the position of his guitar. The pirate stood there for a moment as the wind that blew by cooled his sweaty skin. His hair blew behind him gently, dancing with the small gusts that passed by. His hazel eyes shut for a moment as the win passed then reopened and glanced at the old man. "Alright old timer, make you're first move and make it count." The pirate stood there in his black undershirt, waiting for the old man to make a move. |

Theo watched as the man flamboyantly took his outerwear, like his jacket and hat, all the while trash talking in both kinda subtle and unsubtle ways. The chef had to give to the guy, he certainly could prolong the beginning of a fight. Why couldn't he be one of those simpler guys who attacked without question and without the need to talk while they did it? But no, he was just stuck with a guy who liked to hear himself talk, which was a rather possible trait all things considered. Also, why did he have to repeate that he wasn't going to go easy on him so many times. Did he really think that the ex-Marine was senile or something or couldn't judge dangerous situations correctly? Whatever, no use getting all angry about it. The old man tensed as Diego settled into a stance. Time for fun. Wrong. The chef mentally facepalmed. Did the guy not see him ina defensive position or something? Did he not know he had to make the first move? Whatever, fuck this. Cursing under his breath, Theo launched himself at Diego, his staff held backwards in one hand while the other curled into a fist. Nearing his opponent, the ex-Marine threw a straight punch, shifting his center of gravity to place approximatelly 350 pounds behind his punch. As he did that, Theo took care to watch out for any counter attacks, subtly angling his staff for a better block just in case. |

Diego could see the force behind that punch, it seemed the old man wasn't as weak as Diego had thought. thought he didn't think he was that weak to begin with, his appearance didn't suggest that at all. Diego just didn't feel all to right being called an old man beater at the end of the fight. By the looks of that punch, it would be more humiliating if he were to actually lose the fight. To think he'd actually have to do something more then just wait until the old man tired himself out to then just quickly take him down without any mess. But it didn't look like this was gonna happen. It was actually surprising Diego at how fast his mind was analyzing the situation and thinking about what he was about to do while the man was in mid punch, it seemed almost scary how fast his mind was working. The musician quickly side-stepped the punch and bounced back a few feet, avoiding the hit completely. His hazel eyes were now fixated on the old man's staff or was it a walking stick, what ever it was, he was sure to watch it. It was sure to be the follow up if the punch were to miss and he was expecting it. But before the old man had a chance to follow up with any move, the musician sprung out a heavy iron rope from his right hand wrist. The rope landed on the ground with a loud thud before Diego lifted it up and began to twirl it around over his head. Once he felt it had a good enough amount of momentum, the cyborg began to direct the tip of the heavy iron rope at the old man, whipping it quickly at him. |

While he half-expected the man to just stand there and take a punch, Theo was not that surprised when the man instead decided to dodge, which was probably a good idea. What was surprising, was that his opponent did not take the chance to counter-attact, and instead decided to jump away from the chef. Moments later the ex-Marine realized the reason behind that move when the man revealed to have a rope made out of heavy material. A rather poor choice of weapon against a cyborg, but hey, the man did not know that Theo was one. Sucks for him. As the man began to twirl his rope around and around, the chef stalked forward, leaving behind footsteps several inches deep and keeping his staff still poised for a defensive manuever. As soon as the man released the end of the rope from its centrifugal motion, the ex-Marine snapped the staff forward and pressed the inner button twice and the outer button once, causing the sheath to slide of the end of the staff to reveal a blade, which promplty shot out towards Theo's opponent at the end of a chain. The ex-Marine accepted the hit from the rope as a dull sound echoed in the street metal met metal. While the hit did not hurt, Theo could still feel the dull thud. Hopefully the chained blade would strike his opponent right in the face. |

The knife cut through the air, catch Diego in his right earlob as he tried to avoide a fatal blow. The musician grabbed the ear and gripped it tightly, bitting his bottom lip in pain. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he didn't see that coming at all, the old man had some moves. Diego never really expected to be caught by anything he the old man could shoot at him. But there was an upside to getting caught, he had managed to strike a blow at the same time to the old man with his iron whip. But before he could actually call that an upside, Diego looked closely at the unphased man. There was something this old man was hiding, normally anyone hit with his iron whips would have at least been dazed out a bit by that but it didn't seem to bother the old man one bit. This man would be hard to take down, Diego had really underestimated the old man. The musician pulled his whip back a few feet and extended his second whip from his other arm to just about the same length as the first whip. The were now extended to about three feet, long enough for Diego to start some close rang attacks. Anything was better than being stabbed by a knife shooting staff. The cyborg quickly charged towards the old man, spinning the iron whips by his sides. As he got close enough to the man, he bagan to force the whips foward to strike the man. |

Theo smirked as the blade cut his opponent's ear, even if it was just slightly. The kid really shouldn't have underestimated him. Snapping the staff backwards and pressing the outer button, the blade retracted back to the staff, making the entire thing whole again. The chef watched curiously as the man extended yet another whip. Looking closer, the ex-Marine noticed that the whip actually came out of the arm itself, instead of the sleeve as he had previously thought. Curious. "Well, well, well, it looks like we're not so different after all." Theo chuckled, not elaborating on his words. Let the man himself try to guess at their meaning. With those whips, the man looked like he was primarily a medium ranged fighter who mostly relied on his whips. The quickest way to end this would be to immobilize him. As his opponent attacked with a flurry of whips, Theo charged right in. Timing himself, the chef extended both his arms and allowed the whips to wrap themselves around his arms, dropping his staff in the process. Pulling his arms backwards, the ex-Marine transferred his center of mass to one foot and then kicked out with his other one, extending the hidden blade from the bottom. Hopefully the man wouldn't let go of his whips and impale himself on the blade. |

What.... what the fuck just happened..... Did I really just get taken down by this old man?.... I... I can't breath.... The musicians mind wondered back to the events of what just happened. He underestimated an older opponent, feeling with his old age and weak appearance the old man held no threat. That was his first mistake. He was sloppy, in a furry he waved his whips around like a mad man. That was another one of his mistakes. But finally, it was his own device that gave way to his death. The musician was pulled in straight into the blade that now pirced his stomach. As much as he tried to counter the attack, Diego was unable to fight the force of the pull. The old man was sure a strong one, it was almost surreal to think he had this much strength in his old stage. That's when it hit Diego, the comment the old man made earlier was a clue to what he really was. It was almost so obvious at this point. He was a cyborg but unlike Diego who was only in possesion of two cyborg limbs, this man was a full cyborg. It all made sense why none of Diego's attacks affected the man. He pulled the foot from his stomach and stumbled back a few feet before collapsing to his knees. His stomach acid had already begun to drip into his other organs, killing him from the inside. Blood leaked from his mouth as he took one last gaze at the old man. He chuckled a bit at him before falling completely to the ground. Finally his last words flew from his lips, taking his last breath with it."I'll see you in hell, hijo de la gran puta." |

Theo watched without compassion as the man impaled withself on the chef's hidden blade. So much for that. Looks like the man was all baek but no bite. But the ex-Marine wasn't disappointed by the outcome. He had his fun and lived and that's all that mattered. Actually, the prize mattered first. Theo smirked at the man's comment before realizing that he had yet to ask the man about the prize. Hey dumbass, what and where is the prize?" the chef asked, shacking the man, but by then the man was already dead. The ex-Marine cursed as he dropped the body and picked up his staff. Well shit. Looks like he got a little too violent with the fight. Fuck. Oh well, time to find another way to get money. Kicking the body for good measure, Theo continued to walk down the street.
