Hair: Waist length blonde hair, it is tied into a braid and interwoven with a long blue ribbon that trails after her whenever she moves around
Eyes: Steel Grey
Clothing/Accessories: Saphira is mainly clad in her plate armour, complete with a helmet, the helmet itself has a hole on the backside to allow Saphiras braided hair to flow behind her. Underneath that she wears plain grey protective clothing in order to prevent wearing her skin out from constant contact with metal. She has little in the way of accessories, however a leather belt designed to hold her sword is strapped on the chestplate and back of her armour.

During the rare occasions she is not wearing her armour Saphira prefers to dress in overly elegant clothes, with a high quality white shirt, a stylish jacket, white pants, black leather shoes and to complete the set a flowing black cape and feathered hat.

General Appearance: She is very Amazonian in her general appearance, with a well built body that towers over others. It shows that she likes to walk around wearing heavy armour. However her facial features are very smooth and mature for her age, adding to the overall impression of someone older than her years.

Usually it will be nearly impossible to tell her gender due to her habit of constantly wearing armour, the metal skin will effectively hide her from the outside in addition to distorting her voice enough to make a proper gender identification difficult unless she takes the helmet off. Due to this she is also of a rather pale complexion.

The Character
Personality: being very hot headed Saphira quickly angers upon provocations, she also thinks that violence is the best solution to most things. However that does not mean she has no capability for logical thought, she just usually never bother to think too deeply into things. When a situation forces her to think on something she will show that she can be bright as well as strong.

While she might be quick to anger she is equally quick to calm down and forgive once hostilities are over with. She is the kind of person who takes her aggression out there and then rather than carrying it around like a sore tooth. When around people she like her demeanour is very relaxed and friendly, easily laughing and joking with whoever is around. Being very friendly and generally nice when there is no reason for her to fight, in short she is a ‘charge first, ask questions later’ kind of person.

But even on the best of days she will enjoy a good fight, friendly or not even if she prefers a good natured bar brawl over a life and death duel. Even if the latter has its own charm in her eyes.

She also happens to have a penchant for surfing, something she enjoys immensely. Another side of her is the adventurer, very much enjoying travelling and seeing what is beyond the next hill, she could never stay in one place for too long before growing restless.

As for how she views other people she tend to divide them between neutral, friend, likeable, unlikeable and enemy. However how she categorizes a particular person might change depending on events, as for romance she hasn’t thought much about it but generally decide on a person to person basis.

Hometown: Bausyer Island - North Blue
History: Saphira was born on Bausyer island, her parents were both scientists acclaimed for their research into explosives. Sadly they were both also obsessed with inventing a flame that could burn on air alone, never realizing the obvious flaw in inventing such a thing. Namely the fact that it would most probably burn the inventors to a crisp before going on to consuming all the oxygen in the nearby area, thus snuffing itself out together with whoever might be nearby.

In any case her early childhood was spent in and around their lab, learning the ins and outs of being an inventor. And with the arrival of her little sister Zaina things were pretty good for her all in all.

She quickly picked up the basics of inventing, being something of a genius in the area. However by the time she turned 10 she realized that just staying around and inventing things just didn’t cut it, she felt like there were something hollow inside of her, as if her life wasn’t meant to be spent inside a lab.

Starting to look into other careers she picked up the art of a merchant first, learning how to buy and sell in the most effective manner. While she were content with this as well at first it soon grew dull. It might work for putting money in her pockets but it just couldn’t fill that void inside of her.

By the tie she turned 14 she had searched far and wide for that which might fill the void within her. She thought she had finally found what it was upon enrolling in a marine training program. The pure joy of weapons practise made her happier than she had been in a long time. However her training was far from smooth as she discovered that just liking a good fight did not make a marine.

She were constantly in trouble for brawling and picking needless fights, eventually being booted from the training due to it. This did not sit well with Saphira, she had at least wanted to complete the training before leaving.

She continued to practise on her own with weapons she attained through her merchant skills, often visiting an uncle who used to be an adventurer in the past. Finishing her marksman training with his aid, as for her skills with a blade she mostly learned it by being in fights all the time. Much preferring a large sword to the smaller variants used widely.

It wasn’t until she was seriously injured in one of the fights that she considered getting a set of armour, she got the advice by a doctor that were on friendly terms with her family. Taking it to heart she saved up for an bought a full set of armour at the next opportunity.

On her 16th birthday she decided it was time to leave her home island, setting out to live the life of an aimless wanderer and to improve her combat skills. After a tearful farewell with her sister she left for what she thought would e the last time.

For years she drifted from island to island, sometimes even crossing into a different blue. Travelling far and wide she acquired a lot of combat skills, as well as some less combat specific ones, like surfing. In short she lived as if every day was her last, enjoying the moment as much as she could while having little to no contact with her home island.

That proved to cause her some grief later down the line, when she contacted her home one day she found out that her parents had finally succeeded in creating their fabled ‘flame that burns on air’ predictably resulting in the entire lab blowing up, while she didn’t mourn her irresponsible parents to much since they had had it coming for a long time it was a different matter with her prized sister. While her sibling survived she had lost several limbs in the process, having to replace them with mechanical counterparts.

Of course the moments she heard of this Saphira travelled all the way back to her home island, sadly she arrived too late, Zaina had already left the island searching for adventure. Much like she herself had done so many years ago.

Being determined to find and have a talk with her sister Saphira decided to chase after Zaina. That was the start of two hectic yars, whenever she thought she had caught up she found that Zaina had already moved on, from south blue to the north she went, finding half an orphanage dead but with all the children grateful toward Zaina nevertheless, all the way back to her home island. That grated on Saphiras nerves to say the least, to find she had gone back to where she started.

There she heard of the now fabled jailbreak, where Zaina had helped someone named ‘Kaji ‘Dragon’ Jones’ bust some pirates out of the very marine base she had held her failed marine training. However she was now right behind Zaina, rushing off she deducted her sisters next destination with a rising feeling, this time she would catch up for sure.


Abilities and Possessions
Combat: Reckless would be a good word to describe Saphiras combat style. She will almost never think up a plan of battle beforehand and simply charge in at whatever she is fighting. She is also prone to causing large amounts of collateral damage whenever she fights. She is gripped by something akin to a Berserker rage when in combat, meaning that while she might use whatever skill lies at her disposal she will usually disregard her own safety in exchange for delivering more devastating attacks.

With a knack for inventing a multitude of tools designed for destruction she has both the means and the ability to blast her way through any situation, when attacking at close range is not an option she will simply bombard the enemy with long distance artillery or rifle fire.

She will usually only rely on her rifle when not clad in armour as aiming with it can prove troublesome in full plate. The same goes for using her dagger for purposes other than day to day cutting

Weaponry:


  • Greatsword: This mighty steel sword is 200 cm long with a 20 cm wide blade

  • Iron dagger: A simple iron dagger, typically worn in a belt.

  • Custom Rifle: A steel grade upgrade to Saphiras previous rifle it is still a simple bolt action hunting weapon, the scope attached is still at the level it was previously. Maximum ammo capacity is seven rounds.

  • Cutlass: A steel quality cutlass, measuring in at roughly a metre in length with a basket shaped guard it comes with a leather sheathe and may be strapped to the waist of the user.

  • Micro: Having improved upon many of the mechanisms contained in her previous missil launcher Saphira has managed to create this special rifle. Looking much like a regular rifle this weapon is capable of firing special 'Micro' versions of Saphiras missiles, with a maximum capacity of 10 rounds this weapon should prove to be much less cumbersome to use, it has a leather strap attached for easier carrying.
    Due to the way this weapon works it is incapable of firing regular bullets, it is made mainly from steel with a few decorative wooden parts, it has a slot for inserting missile magazines and clips on the underside.

  • A sooty black, unadorned collar, save for a tarnished silver clasp. It is one of a matching pair (the other being worn By Lillie) they give the odd ability of always knowing what the other wearer is thinking without uttering a single word, thus enabling long distance communication. Although the link weakens to useless once the wearers are more than a mile apart.
    As a side effect of the link the wearers feel a portion of the pain suffered by the other

  • A set of Steel plate armour, this armour covers Saphira entirely with only a hole in the back of the helmet to let her hair trail freely even when wearing the helmet. The entire armour looks rather demonic with its clawlike gauntlets, pointed shoulders and overall intimidating aura. The helmet is surprisingly smooth and without a proper visor, instead opting for an opening going from one side of the helmet to the other at level with the wearers eyes. The entire suit of armour is coloured in a sooty black shade.

  • One each of Micro Heaven Missile clip and Micro Missile Magazine is available to Saphira at the start of any given storyline

They are easily made using organic materials or the residue of them, such as plants, wood, oil or seaweed.

Description:Using 2 solid fuel sticks Saphira turns them into a clip of 4 of small missiles, these missiles are roughly two decimetres in length and has the explosive power of a stick of dynamite, The clip is designed to be loaded into a special launcher. Once fired they will keep going forward for roughly 500 metres before running out of fuel and falling harmlessly to the ground, things such as gravity and obstacles may cause it to detonate before then. They are extremely sensitive while in mid-flight and will detonate from even slight stimuli.

Whatever is hit will take damage as if the sword had struck them/it directly, needless to say it will cause slicing damage

Description:Saphira takes a stance with her sword held in both hands and the blade behind her back and to the side. She then leaps forward while simultaneously bringing her sword out in a massive spinning slash that hits anything in range of her sword several times, she will usually spin seven times before coming to a standstill, the way she spins makes it so that the sword will simply slide off things that are to sturdy to break under the onslaught, preferably giving them a dent or ten in the process.

Description:[/]Saphira creates a clip containing two HM missiles, they are roughly two decimetres in length and designed to deploy two ‘wings’ and tail feathers upon launch, bearing a striking resemblance to a seagull and is nearly impossible to tell apart from a real bird, unless you are very close that is. Using very little fuel to remain in the air seeing as the wings give a measure of lift, thus enabling a very long range (roughly 3-5 kilometres depending on circumstances) In addition the flight is completely silent. Upon contact with a solid object they will erupt in an explosion covering an area equal to 10 metres in a radius

Description:(Branched from Heavens Messenger Missile)Using 4 solid fuel sticks Saphira turns them into an upgraded version of her Heavens Messenger Missile, designed to be compatible with her Micro rifle they are tightly packaged into a clip of 2, once they exit the barrel a pair of thin 'wings' will deploy around a small body mimicking the image of a distant flying seagull. Due to the wings giving a measure of lift the maximum range of these are between 3 and 5 kilometers, this is also partly due to the incredibly low fuel consumption and relatively lower air speed compared to her other missiles. This upgraded version isn't as quiet as the original and emits a soft humming noise while in flight, regardless it is still difficult to tell it is not a seagull by the untrained eye until it is too late.

and I am suddenly not so sure of my math, would appreciate if someone could tell me just exactly how much beli im supposed to have left after the weapon n cyborg refunds.

Only thing kept from Zaina is the santamas gift, everything else should be sold/gotten rid of

guillotine swing - Can't really send objects flying at this rank. It can destroy objects in the way though. Also, 20 meters is a bit much for a tech at this rank. Let's tone it down.

Twin terror - this really isnt technique material. This would be something dictated by your strength stat.

Heaven's messenger missile. That's a bit too much for a rank 14. Silent, long distance, seagull imitating, and an explosion of 15 dynamite. First off, let's specify a blast radius instead of measuring it with sticks of dynamite. Then we'll go from there.

math hurts my head... anyway, made corrections to the gains/losses according to what was said in a pm (removed what I didn't carry over from the losses section, which is everything xept for the collar, and that was free)

Zoom is a double tech so to speak, the scope is used to improve aiming capabilities while at the same time giving a better view of what is aimed at. It's also designed so I can still use it if she ever finds herself with a different scope than the one on her own rifle.

is 15 metres better or still to much? also changed to destroying small objects in the way of the shockwave.

replaced twin terror with a barrage tech, which is a simple rapid fire tech that depends on how many missiles are in a clip.

HMM, lets try with 10 metres in a radius to start with, that should be a round the size of a small building

added the missing 500k beli.

also...so using a scope can't make you aim better?!? wow, I must have imagined I could hit targets I usually cant all those times I used one myself.

But if a stat buff is out of the question how about just increasing the range where she can hit something? that way the tech wont give all the perks associated with a higher acc (reflexes, tracking moving targets, etc)

Zoom since there is an actual scope seems fine to me, it's within the realms of logical low level buff since you're not causing yourself to suddenly see better but being aided by a tool to expand your vision.

I still don't really agree with zoom, but seeing as emo and dark think it's fine, I'll leave it be. However, at rank 11, it shouldn't be buffing for 5 posts ever. This particular tech can probably just be treated as a toggle buff.

Small thing, but your shockwave actually DOES cut; at rank 14, it's the same manner of damage as what made it. Fists make blunt, swords make slashing/piercing. You'd want around rank 18 to make a sword do a blunt shockwave.

Silly, I know. But it also works in reverse, for legs making slicing kicks.

Then Tommy tries to think up a plan to defeat this guy and after a few seconds, thought of the perfect plan to knock him out which was to punch him in the back of the head. He then out maneuvers him by side stepping to the back of him and punches him right on the back of his head perfectly which then knocks him out for the rest of the bar brawl. Hold up shockwaves were always blunt no matter the source at rank 14. It was one of those "balance" things I always presumed and made somewhat sense.

So yeah sorry Mega but i'm going to have to talk to Yak about this.
