Right, yet another question. So there's a trait that nets you a crew NPC who's basically your follower. It's above beast handler, named born leader or something like that. And then there's performance assistant, which nets you an NPC who can help you out as well. Could these be the same NPC if I wanted? Would there be any benefit? Faster SD gain, more traits, some other bonus... any of that? Or would I basically just be wasting the performance assistant trait? Thanks. |

Well your born leader npc would help you during performances to make them last longer? Technically you can have 2 npc's but since you can only use one in a storyline it's kind of a waste. Those benefits are quite overpowered and unacceptable. You're better off picking one of the two really since the born leader npc doesn't do anything other than being a npc but born leader itself gives you semi-magic charisma or something? The performance assistant gives you an extended buff/debuff time when the npc is performing with you but no charisma boost to the character itself. It's all in the "npc's are too powerful" thing. They don't seem like it in the early stages but really pay off later. Performance assistant used to have 2/3rd of the character's earned sd but that got nerfed a while back. It simply isn't allowed anymore. I'd settle for one of those options. |

Gotcha. Makes sense. Also, that 1 NPC per storyline thing. Where's that stated? I can't find it. Would that mean if I picked up the beast master trait, I couldn't have my hemchman and pet in the same SL?

I think it may be one of those unwritten rules. |

That applies to the pet NPC as well? Just double-checking. And alright... at least I know now instead of later.^^ |
