Yuri had printed out the transcription from the den den broadcast that the captain had made earlier. She grimaced at his shrewdness. Though he seemed to realize this was all a distraction there were apparently multiple strongholds. She could only hope that he checked up on other ones first. Before that happened they'd need to finish up here and escape quickly. They could steal one of the docks ships if need be. She looked up to see Sai approaching her.

"Oi Yuri, its finally time right? We can finally take over this damn warehouse? Do i get anything special?"

"You can have whatever you can carry out. There's bound to be lots of beli and weapons there, feel free to take whatever you can carry. We have to make this fast though, a Marine Captain has already sniffed out our ploy so we might not have long to take down the remaining two guards and raid the storehouse." She added as she led him in a cautious run through the empty gate house. She crept around a corned of an adjacent building and noticed the two of the remaining guards talking. She couldn't make out what they were saying but they seemed to be discussing something nervously.

"Sai, pt on your Marine Uniform and distract them. I'll descend from above and knock them to the ground and we can take them both out like that. She said as she crouched down and jumped up high activating the pistons in her legs to gain enough of a vertical jump to get to the top of the warehouse. She crept over to the edge and peered over silent;ly. She saw Sai incognito walk over and initiate conversation with them. She watched for a bit determining when they had their guard lowered the most or focused most on him. Then she vaulted over the edge of the roof and descended on one of them. Once again utilizing her bodies metal frame and weight she flattened one as the other one, shocked by the sudden assault of the unknown girl was distracted enough that he could be sucker punched by Sai. Once they were knocked out and tied up Yuri dumped them off the edge of the docks and unlocked the warehouse. She pulled the balled up duffel bag out of her backpack and flicked on the lights. It was full of boxed of confiscated treasure, beli, weapons,gadgets doodads and trinkets.

"Jackpot!" she practically shouted as her eyes lit up and she began to rummage around salvaging weapons, technology, and any beli she could fit into her bags.

"Anything!? Sweet! Better keep things light though, especially if we gotta make a quick escape." Sai was excited to finally be back with his companion and finally enter the warehouse that looked as if it housed everything valuable on the island. Hopefully he would find something useful. No matter how happy it made him, a bag of coins wouldn't be very handy for pirating, serious pirating at least.

Sai followed Yuri through the gate house and was stopped just before the corner. She had left two guards alone and they seemed to be discussing something, probably in relation to the riot he had caused. It didn't take much longer for him to receive the order to change back into his marine costume. It was starting to become much more handy than Sai had first realized, it might be worth keeping even after all of this was over.

After he had changed back into his uniform and stashed his normal clothes in his bag, Sai pulled out the newspaper Yuri had given him earlier and approached the two marines. "Hey, I think i missed a call, what are we doing about this?" Both marines turned to look at him as he closed the distance even further and he could see Yuri falling like a rock on top of the furthest marine. The one closest to Sai turned around in shock at the sound and Sai quickly punched him in the back of the head and he fell to the ground unconscious.

After the two were tied up, Yuri disposed of them over the edge of the docks, Sai was hesitant about this but it was already to late to express it. She then unlocked the warehouse and quickly entered with her flashlight and Sai followed. The moment he saw some of the trinkets that were just lying around he was off, quickly replacing some of the coins in his bag with either shiner objects or small weapons. Nothing in the warehouse was amazing in quality but everything inside was still useful in some way. Sai was starting to feel like he was carrying a little to much, but there was so much he wanted to leave with. He found a nearby chest, medium in size, and dumped out all of the rusty garbage inside and filled it with everything in his bag, then carved his name on the top. "My own personal treasure chest, just what i always wanted!" Before it was to late he started pushing it towards the exit, just in case they were surprised by some marines, he could still take it with him, there was a lot of stuff here that he didn't want to pass up on if he didn't have to.

Cassy was completely adamant that she hated these clothes, and she would complain for every second that she was forced to wear them. No matter what her first mate said, she would still be annoyed sick of how strange she looked. She gave Lilith a look that practically screamed ‘Are you crazy?!’ when the female said the clothing made her look more grown-up, mature and sophisticated. She simply rolled her eyes, however, and said nothing about it since goodness knows she would have probably ranted on about it.

After hearing what Lilith had to say about going outside and all the rest of it, Cassy first of all shoved on some black socks and the knee-high boots that went with this horrible outfit. Then she stomped out the room, down the stairs and across the bar. The old man’s eyes practically popped out of his head when he saw her, and he made a few bewildered noises before pointing at her in disbelief. “Cassy? Is that you?!” He questioned madly, and she gave the man a smile. “Yup, old geezer. It’s me. Lily-chan made me change clothes because I outed myself as a pirate in a Marine department store.” She rolled her eyes as if it was nothing, but the old man just looked even more shocked. She waved at him and continued to walk across to the door. “See you later, old man!” She called before heading outside. She leant back against the doorframe, waiting for her first mate to come down with all their stuff.

She took hold of an even number of bags that Lilith held when the purple-haired female finally surfaced from within the bar and nodded slowly at what she said. While they walked, Cassy stayed silent; in a strop from having to wear the clothes and boots. At least the make-up had been ruled out, if she was forced to wear that as well she really wouldn’t be happy. She listened to what her first mate said about her doing all the talking, and she agreed silently with this. She was too busy daydreaming to hear what the Marine said at first, but immediately picked up on what was said after about him knowing her from somewhere. She seemed to be startled awake, shaking her head a few times and laughing nervously. Hopefully her nerves didn’t show... thank goodness, Lilith got them out of that situation, dismissing it quickly while Cassy was in a daze.

They were told where their ship was; A21 in dock A, and then left to walk to it themselves. Now Cassy could finally ask Lilith how she had got this appointment. “Lily-chan... how did you get the appointment to see this ship?” She asked slowly, turning and looking at her first mate with a curious gaze. She soon forgot about this question when she saw they were almost at their destination, and she hastened her walking pace to a plaque stating they were at A21. A medium-sized ship sat in the dock in front of them, having no defining features about it at all. It was just a good sailing vessel, obviously rather new due to the lack of water erosion the wood had. The mast was tall, and the white sails were roped in. A plank was connected as a make-shift bridge across to the ship in order to get on board, and Cassy proceeded straight to the deck. She looked up, down and all around with a bright smile on her face. “Woooooow...” She breathed with a delighted tone of voice.

So was this going to be their ship? Even if it was just another ship, it was still going to be theirs. That was what mattered; that was what made it different to all the others produced just like this one. They would have a ship of their own.

She went over and stood at the base of the mast, resting her hand on it and looking out across the sea with a happy look on her face. Of course she was still annoyed about wearing a stranger’s clothes, but all those worries melted away now that she was aboard a ship that she felt was about to be their own.

It was only a matter of time until it happened, until Cassy finally thought to ask how Lilith had miraculously found a way to obtain a ship in the short time that they were separated. If she had been anyone else she would already have figured it out by now, given all of the clues about where they last were where they separated and the fact that it seemed like the marines ran the area. But luckily for Lilith her captain didn’t seem to be to observant about such things, at least lucky until it gets them in some kind of trouble again.

Just when she began to think she had gotten off completely free the closer they got to the shipping docks her oh so brief span of time without having to explain herself came to an end. With a nonchalant shrug she turn her gaze over to the sight of masts raising above the buildings. “I got a few recommendations from the merchants we came here with, nothing special… Here’s dock A.” She replied as they stepped out from the warehouse area and stepped onto the wooden dock, her gaze drifting down the numbers as she picked out their ship and nodded in its direction so Cassy could take the lead.

The ship was basic in both design and appearance, while it may have been study they certainly wouldn’t be living a life of luxury but at least they now had the option to go where they wished so long as they could manage to stay under the marines radar for a while longer. “Don’t get to excited Cassy, its only ours if I manage to get the deal closed soon.” Lilith said as she came on board the ship and set her stuff down on the deck. Straightening up she cracked her back while looking over her shoulder at a building further down the docks.

While she was here she might as well speak with the dock master about settling things today, since the sooner that they got the ship out of the marine’s protection it would be just that much easier to leave the town unnoticed. “As a matter of fact I think I’ll go get things settled now… Cassy wait here for me, I shouldn’t take any longer than an hour at most. Less than that if all goes well.” Rolling her shoulders as she gave Cassy a brief smile before heading off on her own, she could both hear and feel her stomach growling in annoyance at the lack of food. Once again her body began to protest her always seeming to be putting other things above taking care of her body. Her head throbbed every now and again in annoyance at her choosing to give herself a mini concussion in the store, and her stomach growled like a beast at the lack of nourishment. The only thing that had yet to give protest were her own two feet and ever dependable hands.

The sound of a hand briefly knocking on wood sounded throughout the dock building. Two quick knocks with a brief pause before a louder one finished the oddly music like beat. It didn’t take long before the sound of a lock being turned and the creaking of the door hinges to fill the air as an old man with iron grey hair and reading glasses opened the oak door to peer down at Lilith. “We aren’t taking any new customers for the day, Marine orders. Come back tomorrow and we can talk then.” He commented before moving to close the door, only bang against Lilith’s foot as she stopped it from closing completely.

“I already talked to the guards and they let me in, see I already have the paperwork here, otherwise they wouldn’t have let me in.” Lilith pointed out as she began to slowly open the door with her hand, feeling the man’s resistance starting to crumble away until she could step in unhindered and hold the paper up for inspection. “Dock A, ship number 21. A ship taken after a pirate crew got caught in town after trying to loot it, unaware that the marines were present on a routine patrol. Believe me now?”

The old man gave her a look with no effort to hide the annoyance as he plucked the paper out of her hands and began to walk deeper into the building, no longer blocking her way as he gave in to her this one time. “They warned me about you.” He mumbled to himself, to softly for Lilith to hear as he walked away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Half an hour later Lilith finally walked out of the building holding the paper work in her hands with a slight grimace on her face. The ship had ended up costing her more than she had initially hoped after her attempt to black mail the store marines, however the old man was as tough as an oak tree when it came to bargaining. She felt oddly lighter with the vast majority of her money suddenly missing from her side, but she had to be at least a little bit thankful that she had some leverage or else she would have ended up having to pay more.
Now it was time to get back to the ship and check on her captain and to make sure everything was going along smoothly. With the ship officially belonging to her they could leave anytime they wished, she was planning on getting out the moment they got the supplies for the ship and just sleep down in one of the cabins for the day.
"Cassy! I'm back." She called out as she finally stepped back onto the ships deck, breathing a sigh of relief as she realized that the marines weren't swarming the place and that her captain seemed to have stayed on board the whole time. "Before you even ask, yes i did manage to get the ship. But you will be owing me alot of beli in the mean time, it nearly drained my wallet dry." She said with a slight grimace as she looked the ship up and down, she wanted to get out of the marine dock as soon as possible before anything went wrong. "But before we celebrate we should probably move the ship to the civilian docks, at least there we aren't in the middle of a marine warehouse district."
This place was like a toy store to Yuri. Confiscated weapons, gadgets, gold jewels and money, and it was all hers. Well ok some f it would go to Sai but he'd most likely be getting caught by the end of this so it hardly counted. Her eyes turning to beli signs she began to stuff beli bills and golden trinkets into one of her acquired duffel bags. This was excellent. With this much beli and gold she could afford more parts to buy more expensive cybernetics, which would in turn allow her to rob and blackmail even more dangerous and valuable targets. She paid hardly any attention to Sai as she finished packing up her own treasure.
She set down her other duffel bag and cracked her fingers. She began to rummage through the weapons to find some nice pieces. She took a few bladed weapons, 2 swords, a couple of daggers, she hid a pistol in her stomach compartment in case she need to pull of a few quick shots, some explosives, flammable oil canisters, and... She stared down at the piece de resistaunce of her new found collection. The latest model bazooka. It had a 3 shell stage system to allow for 3 consecutive shots to be fired freely before needing reloading. The shells were a bit bigger than the ones she utilized so installing it would be a problem but this piece of machinery was expensive and if nothing else would fetch a fair price. She found a few more explosives and took some metal samples of special grades for using in upgrading her base cybernetics. All in all it took 45 minutes to an hour for them to load up their stuff. Once Yuri finished her end of the salvaging she called out to Sai.
oooiiii. Sai we should get going, think we've got enough for now." She stated as she picked up her bags and began to run out of the warehouse followed closely by Sai. Things were looking good as they passed the gatehouse, not a white shirt in sight as they walked unrestrained through the docks, That was until a loud booming voice rang out to them.
"So, I was correct in thinking the riot was a distraction." A booming deep voice rang out, Yuri's blood froze. She didn't even need to see him to realize that this was the dreaded captain she had feared encountering. She turned to face him, he was like some kind of freaking giant. Must be 8-9 feet tall, torso built like a tank. He had a very square face with a rigid jawline and a number of scars covering him visible skin. Piercing focused eyes that felt like they were boring through her, though they were obviously nothing. Desperately wanting to avoid a conflict she pulled out a special camera and aimed it like she was just taking a picture.
"Oh hello sir, I'm just a photographer being escorted by this fine marine here and taking pictures, you must be a high rank, here let me take your picture for my editor." She bluffed as she snapped a picture of the captain and showed the odd picture to Sai, which oddly enough depicted a future combat scene, her blood froze at seeing it as Sai was seconds away from being crushed in the picture.
"Enough of your lies, I'm taking both you criminals in, if I have to break a few arms and legs to get you cooperate then so be it." He said grimly as he removed his6 foot long Juute from it's belt loop and brandished it towards them. Yuri mentally swore at herself for taking so long in her salvaging processes. She looked towards Sai and grinned.
"I'll leave this weakling in your reliable hands Sai, you should be more than enough to deal with hi-" she started as he ran up and smashed his Juute against her head mid bluff. Her face smashing into the concrete of the docks which cracked and crated into her face. She bounced up once and went limp on te ground. god damn it it hurt, she could feel the metal on the back of her head warped and bent. She'd have to recover for a moment before counter attacking. Thank god he wasn't aiming to kill her with that blow or even her metal body would be destroyed. He turned his attention to Sai turning his back to Yuri. She picked herself up as quietly as she could and punched him in the side impacting him with her piston. His face steeled as he seemed to absorb the blow with little difficulty. Yuri didn't wait for a snappy retort and merely took off in the opposite direction. This was bad, she had no leverage, no advantage. She ran a ways assuming Sai was either crush and using his corpse to but her some precious few seconds or following behind.
The gods had answered her prayers however she saw a couple of civilians gathering near a boat. Perfect, she could take one of them hostage and use that to escape this deadly situation. She sprinted over as fast as she could to the goth and slipped behind her wrapping her arm around her neck aiming a pistol at her head. Into her ear she whispered. Be a good girl and don't resist and you'll get out of this alive." she said in a sweet tone as she tighten her arms grip around her neck and hoisted her into a shielding position.
"Stop right there you bastard! Back away now and let us go or the goth gets wasted!" she shouted pulling back the hammer on her pistol and digging it into her hostages temple. The Captain stared grimly at the two of them. Yuri began backing up slowly and spoke to the other purple haired woman behind her.
"Thats your ship right? Get it ready, we're taking off NOW." she ordered as she slowly made her way towards the ships ramp. Th captain began to advance as well, was he calling her bluff? Impossible, no way he would risk an innocent civilians life on a gamble.
Sai pulled up behind Yuri as they began to exit the warehouse, the weight of his chest was beginning to bother him. He was wondering if it would be best to leave some of his stuff behind. Hesitantly, he began to empty it of the heavier things that he didn't really need, a couple of the trophies, some of the weapons, and the nastier coins, leaving a trail of valuables straight back to the warehouse. All that was left were a few tiny knives and the shiniest coins. There was now a lot of room for new treasure and Sai shook with excitement at the thought of that as they exited the gatehouse.
"So, i was correct in thinking the riot was a distraction." Sai felt like the earth itself was shaking at the sound of this voice. He hesitated to turn around, and when he finally did regretted doing it. Standing before them was the largest man Sai had ever seen. Standing over 8 feet tall and appearing to be some sort of tank like war hero. It wasn't until now that Sai remembered that he was still in his marine uniform, maybe they could still get out of this unscathed.
"Oh hello sir, I'm just a photographer being escorted by this fine marine here and taking pictures, you must be a high rank, here let me take your picture for my editor." Yuri snapped a picture and showed it to him but what Sai saw was not something he wanted to see. It was the marine captain killing him. Not really understanding the joke behind this picture Sai remained confused and really couldn't react to it.
"Enough of your lies, I'm taking both you criminals in, if I have to break a few arms and legs to get you cooperate then so be it." The captain pulled out a juute that was as tall as Sai was, this marine was going to be trouble, it was time to get out of here. He turned to Yuri, "Any ideas?" "I'll leave this weakling in your reliable hands Sai, you should be more than enough to deal with hi-" Yuri's head had vanished and her feet had taken their place. Sai looked down to see his partners head buried in the concrete and the captain had virtually come to stand in between them. He then turned to face Sai. Yuri then stood back up and delivered a blow to his side. The marines attention was taken off of him as Yuri took off leaving him alone. Sai took the one moment he had out of the marines sight to sprint right under his legs as the captain was turning back around. Yuri was actually pulling away from him. "Damn" Sai thought to himself, "First island and im already one of the weakest around, although i guess that means im bound to get stronger."
Sai caught up with Yuri only to see she had taken some girl as a hostage. "We really want to do every possible crime in one day don't we? This is starting to actually be funny." He said smiling. He was actually really stressed and worried but didn't want to let it show or effect what could be the last of his judgments. The marine stood facing them from the end of the dock. Yuri began threatening the hostage in an attempt to halt the marines advance as Sai made his way up to her side. The marine didn't hesitate to advance towards them. This surprised Sai greatly, marines were supposed to protect the civilians but this one seemed willing to sacrifice one just for their heads. Were the marines on this island actually corrupt?
While she was waiting for Lilith to come back, Cassy spent her time walking around the ship and back onto the dockside to admire it. Although it was a basic boat with no special features about it, she still couldn’t believe that it was about to hers. Hers and hers alone, since she was the captain of the Bonny Pirates, after all.
Half an hour passed very quickly, and when Lilith arrived back she was obviously very happy to see her. “Welcome back, Lily-chan!” She said brightly, waving a hand in an over-the-top manner of greeting. She tilted her head to the side when her first mate grumbled about how expensive the ship had been, and her eyes widened. That must mean that Lilith had spent a lot on the ship, just like she claimed, and she wasn’t being sore at Cassy for ‘causing her concussion’. The pouch on the purple haired female’s hip was practically empty, and she could hear just a slight jingling of change.
Yeah... we should, really. The last thing we want is the ship being under surveillance by those bastard marines.” She said quietly so that she wouldn’t be heard, and just as she was about to head aboard to get everything prepared, she stopped upon hearing sounds of hurried footsteps; obviously running towards them. What was going on? She spun round slowly to see a pretty girl followed by a very fast boy. The girl looked strange... was her face... dinted on one side?! Before she could ask questions, and before she could react in general to the sight of two random people sprinting towards them, she had been pounced upon by the pretty girl with a strange face. She whispered something in Cassy’s ear... what did she say? Cassy didn’t really hear for she was too surprised at being seized for no apparent reason.
She was about to ask what the hell was going on when she felt herself being lifted up off the ground. God damn, this girl was stronger than she looked! And wait... she just called Cassy a... a goth?! Who was she even shouting at anyway? “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!” Cassy yelled at the top of her very loud voice, squirming around with as much force as she could muster. “And how dare you call me a goth, malfunction face woman!” She added in a yell just as loud as the one before.
Taking off now?! What d’ya mean?! What’ve you done for that guy to be following you?!” She kept firing harsh questions at the girl holding her hostage, wriggling all the more to try and get free. Upon closer inspection, she realised that the man following the two other people was a Marine. All her anger, hatred and downright irritation suddenly got the better of her when she saw that Marine man advancing on them. She had to dress like a ‘goth’ to avoid being spotted, she had to hold her tongue about being a pirate, she had to be plunged into the grimey docks to stop being seen... what else did she have to do in order to keep the balance?! Well, she had enough of this stupid balance.
She wanted it out with the Marines, and that was a fact she would never let go.
Hey, you! Yeah, stupid Marine knucklehead!” She shouted at the man, jerking her body down harshly so she slipped out of the grip of the strange girl, stomping forwards a few steps and glaring the man down. “You’re the head of all the Marines here, aren’t ya?! Well, let me give you a message...” She paused, waiting for Lilith to groan, or complain, or try to stop her from saying anything more. But then she decided that she didn’t care. The Marines were her enemy as a pirate, and that was what she would make known! “I’m Cassy Bonny; Captain of the Bonny Pirates! And if you so much as put one TOE aboard my ship, I’ll rip your head off!” She shouted, pointing violently at the Marine who was still advancing regardless.
She turned her head round and looked at Lilith, nodding slightly towards the ship. “Get it ready, Lily-chan. Looks like we’re sailing outta here earlier than we expected.” She smirked and then turned round again, cracking her knuckles a few times before narrowing her eyes on the Marine. “Hey, malfunction face lady! Speedy boy! Since this is your mess, you’re helping me to beat the crap out of this guy, you hear?” She rolled her neck around and then laughed. “So don’t just stand there!
With that, she charged forwards to meet the Marine captain and try to hold him back from going near her precious ship.
Hell had frozen over, the heavens had been set aflame as flying pigs rampaged through out the four blues. The small sliver of hope that Lilith had been holding onto, that they would manage to get out of town without conflict, without bounties or any other means of repercussions crashed and burned just like a meteor hitting rock bottom. Her body felt numb as she just stood there looking at disaster unfolding in front of her, one of her back up plans of Cassy taking her hostages just fell shattered as she herself was the hostage by two strangers. Her ringed eyes slowly shifted to look at the marine that had them cornered on the ship, immediately recognizing him as one of the marine captains.
Her blood ran ice cold through her veins as all of her potential back up plans crumbled away into oblivion as the situation escalated, her mind silently begging Cassy not to have realized she had just been called a goth. But one of the few times that day that she listened to someone, it just happened to have led her to go on a rampage. It felt like the blood in her veins had become frozen solid, bursting apart like the trees on a winter island; there was no longer any way to talk her way out of it, she had been outed too and all it took was a simple glance at the captain to know that he was far from the forgiving type.
With a snap of her jaw she clenched her teeth to keep her from going into a yelling frenzy at her captain, but if they survived this encounter then there was no way that Cassy would get away with just a talking to this time. As Cassy foolishly tried to rush the captain she headed for the mast, jumping up towards the rope hanging down the center as she grabbed on and began to pull herself up hand over hand style. Her feet planting firmly against the wood as she put all of her energy into lifting herself up as fast as her body could handle it, her hands quickly began to go raw with rope burns as her mind became set on getting the sails down and the boat ready to flee as fast as the winds could carry it.
Once she reached the top she crawled over to each edge of the wooden cross to untie the sails, the rocking of the ship and wind threatening to push her off. One by one the ropes were untied, and each time more of the sail was lowered the more the wind pushed against it; forcing the ship to slowly strain against the ropes that tied it in place. Her fingers moved in blurs as desperation filled her body, the longer that it took her to finish getting the ship ready the longer they were forced to remain here with the captain, and the longer that they fought him the grimmer their survival was.
Yuri tightened her arms grip around her neck but she was a fighter, at first she had thought she was just a normal civilian but it seemed she was a bit stronger than that. She began to resist and try and free herself from her grasp. All the while she was shouting and firing questions at her. Yuri tried to counter with more force but negotiating with a hostage you are threatening to kill is hard when you actually don't intend to kill them. More so the Marine made no hesitation in advancing towards him despite her claiming that she'd kill the girl if he didn't back off.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?! And how dare you call me a goth, malfunction face woman! “Taking off now?! What d’ya mean?! What’ve you done for that guy to be following you?!"
"Just calm down and we'll both get out of this oii are you gonna-" She started before she was cut off by an unexpected shout from the girl.
"Hey, you! Yeah, stupid Marine knucklehead!" She shouted, Yuri's guard dropped not expecting the hostage to become hostile towards the Marine Captain. In her moments distraction she was able t duck down and slip out of her grasp. "You’re the head of all the Marines here, aren’t ya?! Well, let me give you a message..." She paused and looked to her companion who Yuri noted had a look of horror on her face, as if she were about to do something supremely stupid. "I’m Cassy Bonny; Captain of the Bonny Pirates! And if you so much as put one TOE aboard my ship, I’ll rip your head off! Get it ready, Lily-chan. Looks like we’re sailing outta here earlier than we expected Hey, malfunction face lady! Speedy boy! Since this is your mess, you’re helping me to beat the crap out of this guy, you hear?"
Yuri's jaw dropped, surely nobody was that stupid right? A Marine captain, them, beat? The Overbearing Marine narrowed his hateful Gaze on The girl and was practically apron her. Yuri barely had enough time to get to her. She swung her leg to the side and pressed her heel against her side and activated the piston. The knock back sent her flying 3-4 feet to the left and Yuri used the force to leap to the right. There was but a split second to spare before the sound of crashing and shattering cement erupted where they had both been half a second ago. The Juute was sticking into the ground where a foot deep crater formed around it. He slowly lifted it back up and narrow his eyes from one to the other. Yuri stood up and grit her teeth.
"ARE YOU SOME KIND OF FU%$ING MORON!! We don't stand a chance against a fu^%ing Marine Captain, you see that crater, that would have been your head if I were even a second too late!" She shouted stomping her foot against the ground creating a loud clanking sound from the metal. Yuri swung her arm and tossed the dufflebag full of gold onto the deck of the ship. Looks like they were in it now. She was so frazzled she didn't even consider the possibility the partner would set sail without them and the newly acquired gold. But it didn't matter, it was the tech she wanted more. She dropped her duffle bag full of weapons and hastily unzipped it. She reached inside and pulled out the beauty she had found. A brand new portable canon which fired high impact explosive shells. she unbuttoned the top and lower two buttons of her dress revealing her panties and the top of her chest. Her eyes lit up a gleaming yellow.
"ECCHI MODE: Engaged!!!" she shouted as she flipped up her skirt giving the captain a full view of her polka dot panties. He seemed slightly flustered by the action which was what she was counting on. His eyes focusing on wandering below she had enough time to level and aim the bazooka at him and fire. She recoiled hard from the impact of it but managed to stand her ground. She timed a picture to be taken with her zooming camera as it impacted with him to save for posterity later. Smoke surrounded his upper body and she clenched her fist victoriously. However as the smoke cleared it showed him mostly undamaged save his hand which was slightly blackened and red.
"You're all a bunch of pesky flies and ants, scavenging for what you need and using underhanded methods to elude capture. I'm just going to crush you all right here and now and be done with you." He said as he started for Yuri. She wouldn't be able to get out of range of another attack. however she shifted to such a location that to attack her would be to expose his back to her temporary allies. She held the bazooka up above her head as he swung it down full force on her. There was a creaking followed by a twisting and snapping of metal fibers and finally the bazooka broke down the center. Though it had done it's job and blocked enough of the force that when it came impacting on the top of her head it was lessened to a non fatal blow. Once again she was knocked face down to the ground her metal body cratering the ground beneath it. She struggled to regain her standing, however as much of the force as she had blocked it was still quite a blow and she was dazed. She saw his feet and heard the sound of him raising his Juute again to strike a finishing blow. She prayed her new companions could manage to get in a quick strike or two to distract him before she could get back up.
Sai watched as the girl dressed in black escaped his partners grasp. She then followed by shouting at the marine captain, which Sai couldn't tell if it further irritated him or amused him. Either way he couldn't help but laugh. This girl they had randomly kidnapped was making this entire day amazing. Ever since he realized he was weak compared to all these people everything seemed to be more amusing. He assumed it was just his form of denial but thinking really wasn't an option anymore. Yuri had just saved the gothy girl from an attack that could have killed them both. If Sai was going to make any progress at all he would need to make some life threatening positions, and fighting this marine captain with this group would be probably the most life threatening thing he would ever do. Perfect!
During his thought processes Sai kept himself moving around the back of the captain staying out of his direct sight. If he was going to make any difference in this fight, Sai would have to attack from behind. It was cowardly but it was all he could do. His opportunity finally came when Yuri was attacked again. Sai drew his knives and jumped on to the captains back stabbing down with all his strength. To his surprise the knives didn't penetrate the captains skin, in fact, they barely went through his clothes. Sai jumped back down and gave the marine a bit of distance, expecting him to turn and face him, but the captain didn't even seem to notice that Sai had attacked. Yuri was in trouble now, the captains juute was raised to deliver the finishing blow. Sai couldn't let this happen. He took off at full speed and leaped towards the back of the marines knee with his elbow facing forward. "Meteors IMPACT!!" Hitting this man felt like running into a wall, but his knee seemed to give and he fell to one knee. Sai's elbow was throbbing and he was sure that anymore stress would break it but he took the time to grab Yuri and drag her out of the captains immediate range. She seemed to be the only one who would be able to damage him, her living was probably the only way he would stay alive through this thing. "Any genius plans Yuri? I don't think we'll last much longer."
Cassy was prepared for the impact that would come, but that strange lady knocked her way from her fight. She was outraged while she skidded back across the floor; pushing herself up onto her feet quickly to stop sliding away so far. She looked at the crater that had been created by the impact from the Marine, and she kind of realised why it was good that she wasn’t there to meet it. The malfunction face lady started shouting and swearing at her, and Cassy gritted her teeth with anger.
I can handle it!” She yelled back at the strange woman, looking at the Marine captain and beginning to think. Okay, this guy was tougher than she expected. The strange woman was strong as well, and she was having difficulty trying to take the guy down. She looked behind her at the ship and noticed that it was nearly ready, but Lilith still needed some time. And that was what they would do. They would buy time, hopefully not get killed, and give this guy something to remember them by. Cassy breathed in deeply and slid her right leg backwards, holding her left arm out a little bit to balance herself.
Now she meant business.
In her famed stance that helped her beat the brutes that had threatened Lilith, she could suddenly think clearer and her limbs felt stronger. “She doesn’t need any genius plans; I’ve thought of one instead.” Cassy said while focusing completely on the Marine captain. “All we do is buy time. Maybe I underestimated this guy; we can’t beat him like I expected. But Lilith almost has the ship ready, and as soon as she does, we high-tail it outta here.” While speaking, she leant more weight on her dominant right leg that was pushed back, and she clenched both her fists to the point where the whites of her knuckles were showing.
Without warning, she sprinted for the captain and ran up his back, launching herself up into the air. The captain may be strong as an ox, but he was very slow to notice thing; probably because he couldn’t feel them happening. Cassy twisted in midair, pulling back her right arm and then throwing her left leg down in a graceful yet powerful flip back down. “Strong right hook!” She yelled out, swinging her right arm forward and aiming to punch the captain’s nose. As strong as the man may be, the nose is one of the weak points on every human being. One good blow and it would be broken, which is partly what Cassy was hoping for.
Before she could see the results of her attack, she planted her feet firmly down onto the captain’s shoulders and jumped off again, not taking any chances of lingering any longer than she had to.
From the power of her jump, she ended up near the boarding plank of the ship. She quickly spun round and focused her attention on her temporary team mates and the Marine captain, making sure that nothing had taken a turn for the worst while she was in midair. Although the strange lady had taken her hostage, and she had never met both of them in her life before, she felt a strange connection with them like she had with Lilith. Her nakama senses were tingling, and she felt this overpowering urge to go back and help them to the ship; to safety.
But she knew this was both reckless and pointless. From what she had seen, both the boy and lady could take care of themselves, and she hoped that she wouldn’t be proven wrong. “Hurry, you two!” She shouted, staying on the dock instead of boarding like Lilith would most probably want her to do. “We’re getting out of here!
She noticed the bag that the strange lady had pulled out the massive bazooka from, and she felt half tempted to rummage through there for a device that would let them sail off with a bang. Judging from the past reactions that the lady had given her, however... she didn’t want to cause any more trouble. She just wanted everybody to be safe, to get away from the docks, and to sail onwards as a crew... whether the two other people liked it or not.
As the last of the ropes got untied the sail was fully released from its constraints, the sound of the ropes and wood straining could be heard as the wind tried to propel the ship forward only to be stopped by the dock lines. With half of the work done her eyes fly over to look at the scene on the docks, a shiver running up her body as she takes in what was happening. Just like she thought, they were no match for the captain; the woman that had first brought all of this trouble to them was on the ground before him in what seemed to be defeat; one by one they would start falling if they didn’t escape in time.
Without caring about the injuries that she was about to gain for the sake of speed Lilith leaped over to the rope that she had climbed up on; her hands catching it in midair as she began to slide down with a whimper of pain as she felt her flesh burning from the friction. The pain slowly began to dull as she rushed towards the lines, grabbing her bag in the process as she shuffled through it with her bleeding hands for her sword, the adrenaline in her body fueling her movements and dulling the pain in her hands and head as the fight or flight response grew more powerful be the second. And the latter being the most powerful as she drew her sword and began to hack away at the first rope that held them to their doom.
One after another she moved down the line, her reverse blade cutting through air, wood, and rope alike with frenzied swings of her sword. The pain radiating through her hands just made her grip tighten on the handle while hope filled her body, everyone she cut brought her closer to the last one, the final rope that had sealed their fate to this city and could also free them. “Get on the ship! We can’t beat a captain” She yelled out while her gaze locked onto the last three ropes, her breathing quickened as she sliced through two more of the ropes, wood flying up into the air but she hand already began to move to the final one before the lines fell into the water. Raising her sword she slammed it down onto the line with all her strength, embedding it deep in the wood as a large sigh of relief finally escaped her lips.
Her golden gaze slipped over to her captain before her eye twitched, her captain didn’t seem to be making a move towards the ship even after she saw what a captain was capable of. She finally snapped, no more quiet talks, no more trying to be calm and keep everything smooth, the annoyance that had been building up at the past few days suddenly broke the dam in her mind and let it all out like a raging flood. “CASSY GET YOUR ASS ON THE SHIP NOW! SO HELP ME IF I HAVE TO COME DOWN THERE AND DRAG YOU UP HERE I SWEAR THAT YOU WILL BE IN A HELL FAR WORSE THAN THAT OVER SIZED MONSTER EVER COULD PREPARE FOR YOU! NOW GET YOUR FREAKING ASS MOVING!”
"Fuuuck me..." she thought as she coughed out some blood and oil. Her world was a daze, pain and flashing black and white lights were all she could feel, all she could see. She saw his feet her evision blurred head dropping to the ground for a moment loosing consciousness. She felt herself pulled up and came back too less than a moment later. Weakly she clutched her head. There were a number of bad dings, no doubt it'd be a real pain to fix herself afterthis. to do that she'd need at least the scrap metal she salvaged from the warehouse.
The captain stopped momentarily feeling a small twinge on his back. No doubt a bite from the weakest of the pesky insects. The bug even had the nerve to try and carry his quarry away right under his nose. No matter he could easily crush both with his next swing. Something else then, feet planting against his back, an unusual tactic. Momentarily paused again he suddenly widened his eyes and shifted back an inch as the girl vaulted over him and twisted mid air. She threw a hard punch at his nose. The force threw him back a bit, she was a clever girl to realize the nose was a weakness shared by most humans. It was flattened slightly by her assault and he took a step backwards to catch himself and reinforce his standing. She used this moment to vault backwards towards he plank of the ship. His face, which was more of annoyance before twisted into a grimacing scowl of hatred. By the moments delay Yuri had regained her wind.
"Hurry, you two! We’re getting out of here!"
"F%$#ing no need to tell me twice." She grumbled as she pulled away from Sai on her own. She stood up and grabbed him by the shirt collar. Hoisting him up in the air with her strength she underhand threw him forcibly up onto the deck of the ship. She turned to face the captain who was but 4 feet from her now.
"Guess we are leaving now big boy, but you hit me so hard~ Lemme give you one last glance to remember me by sweetie~" She said in a flirty tone as she grabbed her dress and yanked on it on either end. It flew wide open giving him one full flashing glance of her front covered only by a meager pair of polka dot panties. His eye twitch at her audacity, and his own unwillingness to look away. he barely had time to register that her chest had opened up and that out of the cavity a small canon had popped out. Yuri's eyes flashed yellow as she first off her sex bomb in his face. Letting the canon slide back into her chest cavity she turned around to the no doubt stunned escapees and jumped up onto the ship with the aid of her hydraulic legs.
"Now lets get the fu%$ outta here!!" she shouted as the last rope was cut and they departed. The smoke began to clear leaving the Captain coughing and waving away the smoke from his face. His uniform and face were blackened with soot from the explosion and his mouth was bleeding a little. He glared at the ship quickly disappearing into the horizon. This was far from over. if they thought they could come to his province, caused a riot, spread mistrust in the marines the protectors of the people and flee with stolen goods, well they had another thing coming. A pair of Marines of lower lieutenant rank came running up to him and saluted out of breath.
"Captain Shevron sir!! We're reporting from the front lines of th riot sir! Casualties on both sides are to a minimum, under your orders of non aggression the riot has begun to loose steam." The man said saluting his superior. He had brown hair, down to neck length and frayed at the ends. His uniform was slightly unkempt and his face was that of a man in his mid 20's. His brown eyes were rather plain like the rest of his appearance.
"Rikey! Can't you see our captain is injured, how can you be so calloused! Oh s-sorry sir i mean are you alright, sir..." She fumed correcting herself when she realized she was being disrespectful to her superior. She had medium length blond hair that rolled down into thick bunchy curls at the ends rolling outside. Bright green eyes and clear white skin. She was obviously one who took appearances very seriously as her uniform was pristine, pressed, and well kept. She had a more caring and compassionate expression in her eyes than that of her partner who seemed more of a let everything come as it is type person.
"Good job Lieutenant Rikers, see to it that order is brought back to this island. Lieutenant Germaine, don't waste your breath concerning yourself about these trival scratches. Go back to HQ and tell them to send a replacement for me on this island. I'm heading out to sea after those damned pirates so i can personally send them to a last stop at the headsman's block or the bottom of the sea. Pack your bags and alreat those below you to ready my ship, we're going pirate hunting." He said as he brushed some of the soot off of him and spat out blood and one broken tooth out of his mouth.
Back on the ship Yuri had fallen over shortly after jumping back on. in the end she had lost most of the weapons and tech she stole, but she had a duffle bag full of gold that would pay for her repairs an then some. of course then the matter came as to what to do about the current air of awkwardness on board the ship. Being too beaten and tired to think of it she closed her eyes and laid her head down on the bag of loot and fell asleep.
Sai was proud of himself for "rescuing" Yuri, giving himself a mental pat on the back. He then watched as the gothy girl made an amazing assault on the captain, twisting and flipping in the air and giving him a solid punch to the face. "Amazing..." The captain barely seemed fazed by her attacks and he was looking more and more pissed as she escaped onto her ship.
"Hurry, you two! We’re getting out of here!"
"Sweet! Free ride!" He said as Yuri escaped from his grasp. "Wait, what are you doing?!" Yuri then grabbed him by his shirt collar and then forcibly threw him up and onto the deck of the ship. It was a very awkward way to be thrown and Sai was forced to land on his face and then rolled to the end of the ship almost falling over the edge. Trying to push himself back up, Sai began to feel the pain in his elbow flaring up. But he had to ignore it for now. He wanted to make sure Yuri made her escape as well. Forcing fis body through the pain, he got off the ground and made his way to the edge of the ship.
Sai was starting to notice a habit in Yuri as she was virtually naked again and was flashing the marine. He was starting to become bothered by the fact that he was getting used to it. A canon then emerged from her chest and shot out a small round right into the captains face. Both were surrounded and covered by the smoke made by the explosion. Sai became a bit worried only to see Yuri jumping onto the deck behind him just as the final rope tying them to the docks was cut. "We're finally outa here!!"
The ship made a small jolt as it left the docks and Sai almost lost his balance. The deck of a ship was way different to normal ground, he had forgotten that in all of the commotion. In fact, he had forgotten everything. Looking back at the docks he noticed the little chest with his name engraved on it that he had all of his treasure loaded in was still there. He still had the bag with his gear, but had acquired nothing more than a marine uniform and some shiny change. "Crap..."
Sai made his way to Yuri, only to see her pass out on the deck. She deserved a nap, much more than he did. Their plan was almost perfect until the captain had interrupted them. Because of that, she had saved him many times. Whether he liked it or not he was in her debt and Sai was sure that she would hold that against him in some way. Making his way to the railing he sat against it and watched as the island steadily shrunk in the distance. Turning to face this new group he smiled, "So where too?"
Cassy nearly whimpered out loud when she heard Lilith’s string of shouted abuse at her, and she instantly ran for the ship. “YES, LILY-CHAN!” She shouted in a slightly ashamed manner, hopping aboard and leaning against the mast as if she was expecting some kind of beating from her first mate. Lilith had sounded so angry it was scary...
She was glad to see the strange lady and the running boy aboard the ship as well by this point and smiled at both of them; even though the lady was sleeping. “Heh heh, we made it out of there alive! That’s a great bonus!” She said cheerily, coming away from the mast and sitting cross-legged on the deck. It was like she was oblivious to the pervy acts that the strange lady had performed while in battle earlier, and again before they left the docks. Her mind completely blocked them out for whatever reason. Either she didn’t comprehend them, or she chose not to remember them at all.
She looked round at the boy with a curious look, tilting her head to the side. “I don’t know! Wherever the sea takes us!” She said with a giggle, placing her hands on her knees and taking a deep breath, sighing deeply afterwards. A wide grin split across her face while she leant forwards. “Today was fun, right?! Considering that I’ve never met either of you before in my life, I like you!~” She chirped oh-so-innocently, like a five-year-old might tell their new friend.
She then shifted her sitting position and placed her hands behind her, propping her up while she leant over backwards to see Lilith upside down (at least to her). “Lily-chaaaan... can we have some dinner?” She asked in her whiny voice, her amber eyes glowing and a pout forming on her face. After a while of sitting like that, the blood all rushed to her head and made her face turn bright red. She laughed and fell forwards to counteract the feeling, not moving while she laid flat on her face to stop the blood pulsing inside her head. “That feels funny...” She stated in a muffled voice due to her face obviously being pressed to the deck floor.
Today had been extremely successful for Cassy. She may have nearly given her first mate a heart attack on many occasions, but they had fun! And they were to gain not one, but two new crew mates! Neither of them knew it yet, but... they couldn’t say no with Cassy so set on recruiting them. It just wasn’t possible.
