The town seemed to be crowded in this area, it made getting around the building quite troublesome. He made sure to knock over a few bystanders as he would need them to hate the marines soon anyways. He found the entrance to the allyway and emerged from around the corner just in time to see Yuri falling on top of the marine girl, who was surprisingly easily knocked out. "Just how much does this girl weigh?" Sai thought to himself as he watched his partner feel up the unconscious marine. He wished he had a camera to at least get back at her for what she had made him do earlier, plus, it seemed to fit in with the plan. Moments later she reassured him that the girl was ok, he hadn't really cared about the marines well being but he felt slightly relieved anyways, only to have both girls stripped right in front of him. He couldn't help but blush and look away by instinct. "Jeez! Warn me next time you do that! These eyes of mine can't handle that kind of instant stress!" The temptation to look back was still there though, it was a bit of a struggle but he held on to his dignity and averted his eyes. By the time he looked back, Yuri was in the marine clothing and defiantly looked the part, besides the evil smirk that always seemed to linger on her small face. Although with what they were doing she just fit the part even more. That look didn't leave though and was fixated on him now. "Oh no... You really need more?! Come on! First a man and now this small girl, do you have no concern for my pride?!" He knew he wasn't going to get anywhere with her but it felt nice to argue. he covered his eyes once again slowly but surly lowered his hands to the unconscious girl. - 30 minutes later - Sai couldn't handle much more of this groping business, he huddled himself in a corner and began manually deleting the memories from his mind 1 by 1 as Yuri stuffed the body in one of the garbage cans nearby and camouflaged it. When she was done he stood up and slowly made his way over to her to listen to the most important part of their plan. He felt giddy knowing the plan now. Being able to act as he wanted in the middle of the city with no consequences, this was a dream come true! They were in the middle of a crowd and easily distinguishable from the citizens and Sai decided to at least start thing there. He grabbed the nearest person by the collar and pulled them up to his face, "Give me anything of value you have right now!" He tried to look as evil as possible but he couldn't quite get it right, he looked more like an excited child than an evil marine. The citizen quickly dumped his pockets of all money, jewelry and lint. Sai bent down and picked up the coins that littered the ground, many were grubby and dull, he threw these away into the now staring crowd, but the few that were shiny as well as a golden pocket watch were quickly stuffed into his pockets. He took a quick glace around at the onlookers before raising his voice, "That goes for the rest of you too!!" He lightly kicked over the first man and the people were throwing money in his direction. This really was a dream come true, he wasn't sure if he wanted this plan to end anymore. The people seemed frightened and angry at Sai but he really didn't care, he had the attention of the entire city. Including a few units of marines. He wanted to test the amount of power this uniform held as he walked up to the nearest one, "You! Underling! Go get me some alcohol! I need drink to go with all these pathetic faces. Such useless people, im gonna tell all the marines to stop protecting you, none of you deserve our help!" This sent one man over the top, as he emerged from the crowd with a knife and charged at Sai. Sai drew his own and was quickly in front of the man with the hilt in his chest. He collapsed and then Sai turned him over and emptied the man's pockets into his own. He chuckled a bit and looked over to Yuri and smiled a bit, He felt that he was playing his part fairly well, "I'm going to the pub, don't bother me with the problems of these usless people ever again!" |

Cassy was having a ball in this noisy bar; laughing and singing and drinking. But then... oh goodness, no! A very angered and beaten up Lilith came in through the door. It was alright... Lilith wouldn’t be that angry, would she? So Cassy continued singing, losing sight of her first mate long enough for the purple-haired female to come up behind her and smack her on top of the head. “Owwwwwwww!” She whined loudly, rubbing her head where a small bump was already emerging with the force of the hit. She turned round and shuffled away from the crowd of people with Lilith, pouting as she listened to the lecture being thrown at her. She kept trying to interject during her first mate’s lecture, but then thought the better of it. “Nyeeee, I’m sorry, Lily-chan...” She said dejectedly after the lecture was over, hanging her head while still pouting. “But I am a pirate! I was only telling the truth... and they insulted pirates... I couldn’t just stand by and let them say that...” She said listlessly, trying to fight her corner. “Thank you for saving me though.” She then looked up and gave Lilith a smile, hugging her first mate tightly in the hope that she would be forgiven. She then noticed the stitches in the back of the other female’s head and gasped, breaking the hug and looking completely distraught. “You’re hurt, Lily-chan!” She claimed loudly and frowned, biting her lip. “I bet that was my fault too...” She shook her head firmly and looked at her first mate again with a serious look on her face. “I’m so sorry that you got hurt for me, Lily-chan... you should have just let me get taken by the Marines.” She said, placing both her hands on the other female’s shoulders before tilting her head to one side. “I promise not to let you get hurt again. I won’t do anything stupid anymore and I’ll kick the crap out of any Marine that tries to lay a finger on you!” She stated with a firm nod of her head as if to seal the deal. Just then, she started to hear a large ruckus outside. She turned her head to the window and looked outside; seeing a high-ranking Marine assault a crowd of people. Her mouth gaped open in shock, and after a while of leaving it open, she promptly shut it and started to stalk across the room. “Those bastards... how low will they go?!” She screeched, throwing her hands up into the air while she was walking. Everybody else was unaware of the ruckus outside, and of Cassy’s extremely loud outburst. Before she could stalk outside, she stopped in her tracks and looked back slowly at Lilith. Like a puppy that knew it was in trouble, she hung her head and scuttled back to her first mate. She muttered a long string of apologies but continued to watch out the window with growing anger and frustration. What was going on out there just wasn’t right! Those innocent people were just giving up their money right left and centre. The very thought made her grab tightly onto the locket encircling her neck. She noticed that the higher-ranked Marine preferred the shinier coins compared to the duller ones, and in case he was attracted to all shiny things, she didn’t want her precious locket being stolen too |

Her lecture seemed to finally be doing to trick, the way that Cassy’s head hung down in seeming shame much like a child being told off by a parent. However the moment that Cassy tried to defend herself by saying that the pirates where insulted she was met with Lilith’s glare bearing down on her. Making it very clear that the pride of other pirates, who in all likelihood killed the previous owners of the items was any concern of hers. “Your welcome, but the honor of pirates you don’t know is not worth our lives. Just like the ones who came after your mother aren’t.” She says with a slight groan in her voice at the sudden hug, her eyes wincing as her head began throbbing more at the movement. “Cassy, typically the underlings are there to protect the leader… worry more about yourself if you really want to keep me safe.” She replied with a slight smile, her hand idly plucking her captian’s off her shoulder before taking a step back to prevent another attempt to hug her. Not entirely sure if Cassy would listen to any advice that Lilith had to say to the girl given her strong beliefs, however she had to teach her captain some form of restraint at least until they could handle themselves against true soldiers with ease. “Like if you think a marine won’t like what you say, don’t say it. That’s always a good rule to follow for the moment.” After her suggestion she couldn’t help but notice that Cassy seemed to entirely blank out, eyes wide and mouth open like a deer caught in a spotlight. At first the thought was that her captain had seen yet another store with odd lights and gadgets but it wasn’t until she heard the voices that her head shifted to watch as a marine assaulted a man in the chest with a knife hilt . The moment that the image registered in her mind her head whipped open to catch Cassy just as she was beginning to walk away; her voice was low and held an intimidating tone. “Cassy.” Reaching out just as the troublesome captain came back to her, she grabbed Cassy’s arm and pulled her closer to keep the woman in check. It wouldn’t take long before a real marine realized what was going on and put a stop to crazed man, and if not a marine then there were definitely people in the bar that wouldn’t stand for it the moment they caught wind of it. “Don’t do anything, I left my sword back in the room and they already know you’re a pirate. Even if you go out there now you will die for sure. But he shouldn’t be around much longer anyways, there are plenty of other people here that will take up the fight for their town and deal with him themselves. Now come on, we should get out of sight; and no matter what happens you better follow my lead. Even if we are caught I think I can talk us out of being thrown in jail and sailing away if you can hold your tongue. With one final glance back at the marine she shook her head and pulled Cassy behind her as she tried to get deeper into the crowd to avoid being seen, strongly debating on if she should call the people out to put a stop to him but knowing the moment she did the marine’s attention will be on them. Then once it is known she is with Cassy their ship would be gone, supplies withheld, and stuck on an island where eventually they would be thrown in jail. Sure, without bounties or any crimes or black marks on their records she could most likely play it off as her ‘special’ sister just had some issues and she was taking care of her. Without much evidence besides Cassy outing herself they had nothing to go on to say she was a threat and not just playing a crude joke on them all. Edited by Keiri, Nov 17 2011, 04:55 PM.

Yuri was genuinely surprised by the zeal and enthusiasm for which her partner was so willing to portray the violent and corrupt Marine part. She had to even lean in and whisper to him to be a bit more subtle about it. She put on her dere face and bowed apologetically to everyone. "Please please do what he says, he's in a terribly short mood after some pirates and lawbreakers escaped from him earlier, who knows what the captain may do." she pleaded in an apologetic tone to try and calm down some of the angrier looking civilians. Some other Marines were looking their way, however they were lower ranked ensigns, no doubt none of them had the balls to challenge there superior openly, however they were likely to file reports, which would take time to investigate, Marines loved their red tape. By the time all was figured out it would be too late. She began to push against her Captains back to try and get him to leave the street. "Please sir we must keep moving, we have a scheduel to keep. Seriously it's not time to start the riot right now you'll blow our cover if you go overboard right now!" she whispered hastily towards him as she forcibly pushed him out of the crowd before he could collect any more coins. She made them hastily walk down towards one of the general goods store away from that crowd ensuring he didn't pull off anything too outrageous until they got inside. "You seriously need to be a bit more subtle, you can't just openly stab someone without cause, you're lucky you didn't start a riot right then and there, our whole plan would have been ruined! Well anyway that was sure to get peoples tempers boiling. We just need to hit a store or two and help ourselves to a special Marine 100% discount and then we can proceed to the next stage. alright." she whispered to him s they stepped inside. As they entered they were greeted by a kindly elderly shop keep. "Hello hello, what brings two fine Marines into my humble shop?" He asked in a polite and humble tone. "Y-yes, my captain wishes us to procure some additional food stuffs and supplies with the special Marine discount, right... captain." She said sending her "captain" as nervous glance hoping he wasn't going to go overboard on anyone else and play it a bit more cooly. Edited by geomease, Nov 18 2011, 08:18 AM.

"Oi, OI!" he shouted at his new underling. "Stop pushing! I could have you executed for this! Don't worry, i didn't stab him, just knocked the wind out of him, i couldn't kill an innocent person even if i wanted to. And now that they're this riled up, it will be super easy to send them over the edge later" he said smiling back at her as they entered the nearby shop. The keep greeted them simply and Sai went about looking around the shop for anything that he wanted and that could be useful later. His pockets were already full of various coins and he didn't really have any other means of storage yet. That actually sounded like a good idea, "Hey shopkeep, do you have any bags or packs that are simple to carry?" "Actually we just got a few new backpacks in last week, they are in the corner over there." replied the shopkeep Sai eagerly made his way into the back of the store and looked at the bags, he needed something that could hold a lot but wouldn't impede his running or maneuverability. He would have to sacrifice a big bag for a lightweight, small one and he found the perfect fit. It was a simple, small black bag with a pull string top, and the strings could then be used as shoulder straps. It had a shiny, golden design that looked like a coin in the center on the back. "This is the perfect pack for all my shiny stuff!!" Sai said as he started unloading all of his coins into the bag, and putting it on his back. He then looked for other things that would be of use. Simple food was one thing that was always nice, he thought as he stuffed his pockets with snacks. "Oi, lacky go get anything that we need for the base. Actually, make it 2 of anything we need, don't want to have to come back to this place." He made his way to the window and looked out at the dispersing crowd, he didn't want to hurt the man, but he had to defend himself. Sai didn't want to make enemies of the townspeople, he hoped that no one would remember his face when he quit being a marine. After a few moments of staring off, Sai's stomach began to growl. It had actually been a while since he ate anything so he broke out a small candy bar and took a bite. His condition started up almost immediately, the pain emitting from his stomach took over and he collapsed to the ground, not daring to move. He hated this part about himself, needing to starve himself just so he can move forward. It wouldn't last long though, Sai hoped that Yuri would just finish up grabbing what she needed and they could leave. -10 minutes later- Sai had recovered and grabbed a few additional things such as medical supplies and stuffed them into his bag. He knew they were supposed to be taking the stuff for free but he felt guilty taking it so he hid a few coins behind the products so the shopkeep wouldn't find them anytime soon. "Oi, lacky, were leaving." Um.. sir, you need to pay for those things. Thanks for the discount old man, you won't see us anytime soon! Sai shouted back as he ran out the door and turned to Yuri, "Ok, Where to next?" |

Cassy squeaked in surprise as she found herself being taken around the arm by Lilith and dragged back into the crowd of people. She had to strain in order to hear her first mate’s words, and blinked a few times. Surely she wouldn’t die if the Marines caught her; she could fend for herself. But with Lilith in a mood like this, Cassy wasn’t about to argue. She made a few stuttered buts in protest, and then allowed herself to be pulled along. Inside the large crowd of people, Cassy could see around the bar they were in much better. There was a staircase leading upstairs off to the far right, and many tables stuffed full of happy drinkers in the centre of the room. Waitresses with smiles pulled too tight across their faces were bustling around giving more drinks out and collecting empty glasses. The odd plate of bar food went sailing past, which made Cassy feel slightly hungry. She pouted and watched an especially nice steak being taken over to a smaller table with four men sat down drinking. Her stomach grumbled in protest at the food not being given to her, but she shook her head. They could eat later. Right now, they had to try and get away from this place. Across the room was a back door which had been propped open to let some air into the stuffy bar. It wasn’t doing much good, but a few over-heated waitresses were stood there fanning themselves with dish towels. They were chattering among themselves, most likely about the current gossip. Cassy decided this would be the best route, as it would take them out back and they could find a better escape route there. She instead took the lead from Lilith, dragging her first mate across the bar towards her target door. “-yeah, did you hear? There was a massive disruption at the Marine Goods store today.” One of the chatty waitresses said, moving aside and pushing the door open more for Cassy and Lilith. She wasn’t really paying attention to them but noticed them coming, so in keeping with her hospitality rules, she decided to be of help. “Really? What happened, Silvia?” The other waitress asked eagerly, smelling a good piece of gossip as she leaned forward to hear better above the ruckus in the bar. “Somebody decided it was a good idea to claim they were a pirate right in the middle of the store.” The waitress called Silvia said, shaking her head disapprovingly. “The Marines are after the pirate, of course. They would never let somebody like that get away.” She said afterwards, grinning and cackling along with her friend. It took every ounce of Cassy’s self control to stop herself from pummelling both of the waitresses to death, but she did so all with a (slightly strained) smile on her face. She thanked the waitresses for opening the door for them and pulled it gently shut afterwards. She turned to face Lilith with a slightly worried expression. “Lily-chan, it sounds like news spreads fast around here. Those girls already knew about what happened in the Marine Goods place.” She stated, tugging a little on the other female’s arm and walking down the much quieter street behind the bar. Either those girls were gossip mongers and were always the first in the know, or they had actually heard about it that quickly. If the latter was true, that was bad. The Marines were searching double time, and that meant more of a chance for Cassy to be captured. For once Cassy started to regret what she did, and was regretting being so loud about being a pirate around Marines. It wasn’t that she was gullible; she just couldn’t control what came out of her mouth sometimes when she was that angry. She would certainly have to learn to... otherwise she could see Lilith buying her a muzzle to keep quiet. “I can’t remember where the room is...” She frowned to herself, looking around the deserted street with a curious expression. Most of the shops back here were closed down, most likely because of the booming main street which took all of the customers away. There were the basics of course, like the food shop. But even that looked run-down and barely open anyway. Cassy felt a little sorry for this street down here, and wondered why it had become bust so badly. Even when there was a very busy main street, the side streets survived with diverse shops that the locals always went to. She could see the dock on the horizon down the street, and realised how much of a slope there was heading down there. Because of how deserted it was back here, maybe it was a good idea that they had come this way. She continued to walk down the street slowly, still holding onto Lilith’s arm. “So what did the Marines do about you hurting yourself in their store?” She asked her first mate, turning around and looking at the purple-haired female. Every normal shop she knew would hand out some kind of compensation to save their backsides, and she assumed the Marine Goods store was no exception to that rule. If anything, it had even better reason to hand out compensation to keep people quiet and stop them from telling the officials about what happened. While she was walking, the clasp on her locket must have come unclipped, and it fell from around her neck, skittering along the sloping road down towards the dock. Cassy yelped out with shock, and let go of Lilith’s arm to chase after her run-away locket. “Noooooo! Come back!” She kept shouting at the locket, even though it wouldn’t just stop with gravity pulling it down. |

With the shifting eyes of a mouse, desperately searching for a safe heaven from a cat, Lilith looked around the bar for a place to creep out without Cassy bringing to much attention to herself. The front exit was by far the worst choice that marine would boil her captain’s anger more and she wasn’t sure how Cassy could handle herself. If they went upstairs then they could hide out for a while, however more marines would more than likely come back here to gather information on the rouge officer in their methodical process of taking him out of commission. The only real option for them was to slip out without another of Cassy’s outbursts and get back to their rooms until their ship was ready. At most one day to go through the paperwork and get everything in order then the next day they could set sail if they went by the books. “I’ll go out and get us something to eat once we get you back to the room… I thought that bread would fill you up though.” she said as her eyes were focused up towards the stairs as her own stomach growled after Cassy’s. The brief thought of seeing if they could potentially get out through a window was semi-entertaining, but would draw attention if they were caught sneaking out through a window when there was a door just below it. As she felt herself being dragged her gaze shifted down to rest on the back door with a slight smile, letting Cassy take the lead as they escaped notice. What the waitresses said didn’t bother Lilith to much, she already knew the outcome and how the marines would deal with this little bump in their road; the only thing she had to do to keep them safe was to put Cassy in their room then sneak out of town tomorrow. A no name pirate was fine for the average marine soldier to chase and beef up their file, but the more dangerous ones wouldn’t even bother with them especially once they find no signs of pirate ships nearby. “See, we have to get back to our rooms and hide out until I can sneak you out. The marines will come down hard on you, outing yourself like that and causing a ruckus put a black mark on their pride and that’s not a good thing. Its two of us against an army of them, so just let me handle things okay?” She said with a confident smile as she outright lied to her captain, knowing that if she could put some fear in the poor girl’s heart then things would be much easier for the both of them. “We should probably work on your map skills some too… if I remember right our rooms are a few streets to the east of us. Not too far from the docks.” she replied while looking down the streets feeling slightly nervous, normally being in a deserted street would make people think it was a good thing. But in fact that just meant that there was no one to hide behind in case a patrol came by, a clear view of their faces and simple to track them. The only thing that was in their favor was that Cassy didn’t even have a wanted poster yet, so civilians reporting them were down to zero. With a shrug of indifference she turned to the right intending to head off towards their room, and to cut down on the time Cassy had to continue prodding her on what happened back at the store. If she let it slip out that she had struck a deal with the marines then she wouldn’t hear the end of it, and with the possibility of a concussion the loud voice ringing in her ears would just tempt her all the more to tie Cassy down and gag her. “Stitched me up, talked, nothing you need to worry about. I took care of everything, tomorrow we will be sailing off if we get the chance.” With a small glance back over her shoulder she stopped dead in her tracks with a twitching eye. In the place that her captain once occupied there was nothing but air, and half way down the street the sound of her voice yelling out as if she had just gotten robbed. Not all marines were like that officer, most were good natured, and she was willing to bet there would be at least someone nearby that would check it out. With a loud groan that she would come to use a lot in her possible short life, Lilith begin to sprint down the street chasing her captain. As they neared the water she saw Cassy bending down to pick something off the ground, and around the corner of the street a flash of white cloth and people coming out. Reacting purely on instinct she did what she thought was best to do, which ended up having her slam herself into Cassy’s back to push her off into the murky dock water just in time to avoid being seen. “Excuse me, were you the one calling for help miss?” A male voice said behind her, causing her to look back with a slight smile at the two men in white t-shirts behind her. They weren’t wearing their uniforms, but the marine tattoo showing on their upper arms was enough to make her full fledge sprint down worthwhile. “Oh, no no I wasn’t calling for help. My uhm… locket fall and rolled down the street.” She responed after a brief glance down to her feet revealed Cassy’s locket, bending down she snatched it up and gave the two soldiers an appreciative smile. “I’m fine, but thanks so much for coming… its nice to know we have good men around here.” “Try using a stronger locking system on the chain. The old one’s tend to break after constant exposer to the salty air.” one of them responded with a kind smile before heading off with his friend, already resuming their conversation about retirement and if it was best to wait it out a few years to get more perks or get it asap to do more things for fun while they could. With them safely away Lilith stepped over to peer into the water with a slight frown on her face… “She does know how to swim doesn’t she?” Edited by Keiri, Nov 20 2011, 07:00 PM.

Yuri set about picking up a few things she might need, a couple lengths of rope, aerosol spray paint, a Groucho Marx instant disguise glasses nose and moustache combo, liter of oil, set of bobby pins, Trench Coat and matching brimmed hat, several rolls of duck tape, duffel bag, ketchup, cracker sparkers (a popular children's toy that makes the sound of exploding gunpowder when cracked together) and a Backpack. This should be about all she needed for her plans. From the looks of it her partner was just about done as well. She slipped over to him and nudged at his side to let him know they were ready to leave. She looked around with a nervous expression on her face and bit her lip in a visibly nervous manner as he began to lead them towards the door. "Oi, lacky, were leaving.""Um.. sir, you need to pay for those things.""Thanks for the discount old man, you won't see us anytime soon!" As they walked out she turned about quickly and made an apologetic bow to the man as he stared in stunned silence at just being robbed by the Marines. Once they left the shop she tugged on his arm and led them into another alley and out of sight. With their gear backed up she changed out of her Marine Uniform again without notifying him or even caring if he saw and back into her dress. She opened her stomach compartment and removed the photographs that had finished developing by now. she leafed through them with a wide grin on her face looking at how well she had angled the shots and how well the source material was. She had made copies of her favorite ones to keep as momentous, and possible future blackmail materials should she be stuck with him for much longer. she stashed her stolen Marine uniform into her new backpack along with her supplies and folded the empty duffle bag into a ball and stuffed that inside as well so that her pack was quite stuffed. She pulled out the Groucho Marx disguise and slipped it into her dresses pocket. "Alright, we've caused a bit of a disturbance now. I'm going to take these photographs and take them to a local news stand, they'll no doubt spread the issue fast, I know how to negotiate things like this. You hang low for awhile, we'll meet back up at the docks in a half hour to discus the next phase. Just take off your Marine uniform and keep a low profile. When we meet up we'll discuss the next phase of our plan and I'll give you an advanced copy of the late edition of the paper. You can use that to start a riot as a civilian and get the people worked up into a riot. Then as a Marine I'll head over to the warehouse district to try and get inside and disable their defenses so you can get in, together we'll loot the place and make off in the ensuing chaos alright." She discussed as they broke apart for the time being. She slipped on her Marx Glasses ran off. She remembered spotting a paper printing press not to far back. When she arrived she walked inside and demanded to see the chief. After some reluctant persuasion on her part she finally got her audience. The chief was a short chubby balding man with a serious uni brow. He sat behind his desk with an uninterested expression on his face seeing the so called photographer who claimed to have the pictures and story of the century. He spoke with a thick Jersey Accent and smelled of smoke and cheap booze. "What do ya want goil, we gotta paper to print in less than an hour, if you'e looking for a headline sorry but we already got one planned." He said as he crossed his arms and sent her a stern expression. "And whats with the getup, tryin to pull a fast one on me?" He scoffed at her unusual facial coverings. "Forgive me but I've been tracking a very dangerous story, the photographs are so damning that i fear for my life if they should be traced back to me. I've been following on trying to break up a ring of corruption within the Marines, these are the photographs I have collected at great personal risk to myself." She said as she started to hand over the various photos of the Marine doing lecherous deplorable things to an unconscious young girl and laying her amidst the garbage. the shots angled so magnificently they elected an intense emotional response from the chief. Having his finger on the pulse of news and events for the island he had already heard of an outburst by a high ranking marine official, theft of property, protection racketeering, assaulting civilians with threats of death and jail time. These photographs were quite damning. "It gets even worse, even the men aren't safe from the lecherous twisted hands of the Marines." she said as she handed out the photos of the "marine" groping an unconscious man. "My god, this is the story of the century! This is front page material! Joey, eh JOEY! New story, you heard about the commotion caused earlier? We got ourselves exclusive photographic proof of the Marines corruption! Missy I don't know what you're usual pay is but we'll double it!" He said standing up his small eyes going buggy. "I think we can arrange something." Yuri said with a sly grin. 20 minutes later she walked out with a hefty sum of cash and a feeling of confidence. The Paper was due to print in 20 minutes, and she had a single advanced copy featuring her article and photos. She made her way down to the docks to meet him at the corresponding place near the waters edge. Looking around to see the place deserted to the best of her knowledge she met up with her associate. "Papers should be printing now and should hit the townspeople hands within 20 minutes. I'll head down to the docking warehouse where they are supposed to keep the goods. Once I hear the riot in the distance I'll know it's started and get moving on my end. You know what to do?" She asked hoping he had been paying attention so as to not mess up her plan. |

Sai let himself be dragged into the alleyway and out of site, it was getting fairly common now and it was nice not having to move his body himself for these mediocre amounts of movement. Soon after she began stripping herself again, also becoming fairly common. However long this partnership was going to last, it was going to be an interesting one. He just hoped it wouldn't all be stealthy though, getting the attention of others always made him feel like his standing in the world was increasing which pushed him to prove that he belonged there. Motivation. After Yuri was finished stripping she laid out the rest of the plan. Secretly, Sai wanted something to go wrong, he wanted to stretch out his legs and really unload all the energy he'd been holding in with all the stealth work and deception. After she took off he changed back into his own clothes, which felt unusually comfortable now. Leaving his new bag under his vest, he made his way back into town to kill a little time. Sai spent about 10 minutes just walking the streets. No one seemed to notice any connection between the marine and himself. Which could only be good news. Frustration still stained their faces from the incident and rumors were spreading fast. Ideas began to plague Sai's mind. A riot would be hard to start in his civilian form. From what he had heard from Yuri, the direction he was heading in was the opposite of the warehouse they planned to break into. Looking at his surroundings, there seemed to be a few small units of marines not doing anything. finding a new alleyway, he changed back into his marine getup, "Lets see how i can help on my own." Making his way back out, Sai quickly made his way to the units of marines and made his presence known. "Solders! I have obtained authority for each of your squads! Get in formation, An urgent matter has come up. Civilians have planned an uprising against the marines and we're to silence it before it starts!" He pointed in the direction opposite of the warehouse. "All the rebels are housed in the inn on that side of town, we are to capture every person inside, no questions asked!!" The lower ranked marines Were shocked at this news, and many seemed reluctant to do what Sai had told them. He judged if they were to start moving now, it would take them about 15 minutes to reach the destination. "Perfect!" He said slyly to himself. "Now get moving!! We need to silence this! I will not be joining you, but if i find that any one of you decides to "ignore" this order, i will see to it that you are all executed for aiding a rebellion in this city." Every marine quickly saluted and took off in a march towards the inn of choice. "Make sure to call in reinforcements before you get there, i heard they may have a few pirates aiding them!" Sai made his way back to the docks and changed back into his clothes just in time for Yuri to come back around the corner. She handed him his paper and looked up at him, as if she was making sure he knew what he was doing. "Don't worry about the riot, i've already got the whole thing set up" Sai said smiling. It had been about 10 minutes since he sent the marines off, it would take him about 7 to reach the inn he had told them to go to. He heard a few more troops of marines rushing by, probably because of the call he had told the first group to make. "Hopefully i can make it there before everything starts!" Tucking the paper in his bag, he took off in the direction of the inn and drew his knives. He would need to be fast, and still take down a few marines on the way, so he could still escape, but draw as many of them away from their target. Passing his first group of 4, he did a front handspring and planted his feet on the heads of the back two marines. from there, He pushed down with all of his might, which sent their faces straight into the cement. The marines in front noticed and tried to defend themselves but were each met with the hilt of Sai's knives, and fell to the street. All of them were relatively fine and very angry. Their pride was damaged, which is what Sai wanted. On his way to the inn, Sai had encountered two other small groups. He picked one off and kept moving, not wanted to waste to much time. His plan was complicated, but if he got there fast enough, there shouldn't be any casualties. Making his way around the last corner, the people of the inn and the marines he had sent were already at each others throats, both of them angry and confused as to what was going on. Sai noticed that a few of the people from the inn had the same papers that he had. Blending into the inn's side he started shouting, "IS NO ONE SAFE FROM THE DIRTY HANDS OF THESE MARINES?! WHY SHOULD WE TRUST YOU? THAT'S MY SISTER IN THIS PICTURE!!!" He made his way through the crowd as he said each of these things, he then stealthily made his way to the marines side and began punching some of the citizens, who reacted violently. Fights started breaking out all over the street, and the citizens obviously had an advantage in numbers. Sai heard a few radio calls for backup and that seemed to be his cue to get out of the scuffle. He only hoped weapons wouldn't get involved, but it was out of his control now. Entering the first alleyway, just outside of the main fight, he was met with one of the marines he had taken down on his way to get there. "Hey you! What the hell were you thinking earlier?! Don't you know that im a marine!? I'll kill you!!" The marine began to draw his blade but Sai didn't wait any longer than that, he dashed up to the man and swiped upward with his knife, but the marine drew his sword and easily defended himself then followed up with a few swipes of his own. Sai was able to fend each of them off fairly easily and closed the distance even more, only a foot apart. "Must be awkward to swing your blade so close? Your weapons too long." Said then cut straight up his torso, shallow, but painful. The marine staggered backwards from the cut, Sai then charged forward again at full speed, placing his elbow in front of him. "Meteors... IMPACT" His elbow connected with the center of the marines chest and right on top of the cut Sai had given him. He coughed up a bit of blood and tumbled backwards, rolling to a halt against the alley wall. "Now were done, i lost precious time thanks to you." Sai then took off at a jog towards the warehouse, hoping that Yuri had things taken care of things on her side. Edited by StiX, Nov 27 2011, 01:22 PM.

Cassy was delighted with the prospect of food in the offing from what Lilith told her back in the bar, and she found herself getting more and more excited. She loved food in general, and when one was extremely hungry food was like a god send. While they were walking, she couldn’t help but pout at what her first mate told her about the Marines and going back to the rooms to lay low. She hated the idea of that; her goal was to become a famous pirate! That meant she had to be known, out in the open and all that jazz. Nevertheless, she nodded her head, itching to protest but stopping herself after remembering what kind of a mood Lilith was in. She pouted at the purple-haired female when she stated her map skills needed to be brushed up on, and she shook her head stubbornly. “Nu-uh! I can read a map just fine! But... in a town where I don’t know anything... that’s when a problem comes up.” She admitted the last part sheepishly, grinning to herself all the same. After her locket had fell from her neck, she had continued to pursue it down the road, shouting the occasional curse at it as if it would help the locket stop rolling. It did stop on a flat piece of road near the docks, which made her sigh with relief. It hadn’t fallen into the water which was great! She leant down to pick up her precious locket, but before she could hold onto the chain, she found herself being shoved hard in the back. She was so surprised that she didn’t even yelp or scream until after she was in the water. All that earned her was a huge mouthful of salty sea, which made her gag. She fell into the docks with such force that she had hit the bottom, slamming into a hard concrete slab that near enough winded her at the same time as gagging on sea water. By the time she regained her senses, her lungs felt like they were about to burst. She swam as quickly as she could to the surface, breaking it with a huge gasp of air. “Lilith!” She screeched, her dark brown hair plastered to her face and soaking wet. Her clothes were all clinging to her body also, and she felt like they were weighing her down somewhat. She hastily swam to some concrete steps that led out of the docks, stomping up them and standing there with a glare of pure evil intentions bearing across at her first mate. She had indeed worked out where the hard shove had come from, and she wasn’t stupid. She knew it was Lilith. “You could have killed me! The docks here are shallow, I hit the bottom!” She began to rant, throwing her arms around with such vigour that it was anyone’s guess as to how she didn’t throw herself back in. After ranting for a little while longer, throwing in the occasional curse word, she stopped and sighed, looking down at herself with a frown. “Now I’m soaked through!” She whined, grabbing hold of her orange over-shirt and squeezing some of the water out of it as if to prove her point. There was a large puddle forming around her from all her wet clothes dripping dry, and she stormed over to Lilith; shaking her head violently at her first mate in an attempt to get her wet too. Now her hair was wild and spiking out at all directions, but she didn’t care. Finally, after she had released all her steam, she started to look around once more. “So where’s the hotel room, Lily-chan?” She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side. She didn’t really retain much information... well, she could, but she often didn’t. Short-term information was never going to be stored away for safe keeping, so that included where the room was situated. She had completely forgotten even though it had only been a few minutes ago that Lilith had told her where to go. Then, after feeling that her neck felt rather bare, and looked over to her first mate’s hand where her locket were swinging by the chain. Without wasting any more time, she snatched the locket away and fastened it securely in place around her neck. She sighed with relief and held the locket tight, looking down at the silver pendant inside which was a picture of her and her mother. “I don’t know what I’d do if I lost this...” She muttered, letting go of the locket again and allowing it to thump gently against her chest. Just then, the rather quiet air was broken with shouts and loud noises. What was going on? Cassy listened carefully, tracing the sound back up to the town square. She gave her companion a puzzled look, before looking back up the street that they had just walked down. It sounded like some kind of riot had broken out up there! Cassy’s immediate reaction was to go and investigate, and if it was a good old fashioned fight she might join in. But, again realising that Lilith was still angry with her about before, she stayed put with a slight pout on her lips. |

After a brief moment of staring down into the mucky water Lilith began to worry about her captain. She hadn’t seen any bubbles come up or any other sign of the girl since she pushed her in. With the locket held loosely in her hand she had just started toying with the idea of diving in to see what the matter was before the water erupted to reveal the drenched and very angry woman screeching her name like a banshee. With a slight wince at the high pitched voice she straighten up and lips twitched as she looked down at her infamous captain Cassy. The death glare on a face that bore a childish look most of the day nearly sent her laughing her spleen off, coupled with the fact that the poor girl was soaking wet in what could not even remotely be viewed as clean water normally would have it wasn’t the fact that laughing now would only send her into a bigger rant. Either that, or earn herself something worse than a few droplets of water randomly hitting her face. But no matter how angry Lilith had been before about Cassy’s outburst in the store seeing the girl soaked through and going through the mood changes was enough to make things even in her eyes. “Oh a little water never hurt anybody…. Unless you eat a devil fruit.” She said while casually reaching up to brush the water off of her face and stifles another laugh. “Besides you needed a bath, the scent of you just attracted a few marines over so I had to clean you up.” Lifting the locket up to show Cassy she shakes her head in disappointment, she had just told Cassy where their rooms were and already she had forgotten. If this didn’t end up being a onetime thing then maybe getting a bloodhound would be a smart move, there would be plenty of ways to convince her captain of it. “To the east Cassy, the direction that the sun rises in the mornings… just a few streets over remember?” She said with a slight shake of her head before taking one last look at Cassy as shouts and other strange noises began to pop up. It was none of their business, and the last thing that Lilith wanted was more trouble, she already had enough to take care of. “Come on, we need to get you cleaned up after you fell down there and after that I want to check something out at the docks. Remember, under any circumstances do not out yourself or confront marines alright?” With that said and done Lilith began to walk back to their rooms, glancing every now and again behind her to make sure that Cassy was following until she was able to finally close the bar door behind them and sigh in relief. “Cassy you go ahead and take a nice bath to clean up, there should be one somewhere around here, and I’ll get you a new set of cloths and some make up to help disguise you from the marines. I managed to find out some information about a ship so I want to make sure everything is prepared for us when we get ready to leave.” With Cassy safely tucked away in the bath and herself finally alone in their room Lilith let a small smile flash across her face as she started picking out clothes for Cassy’s new disguise. The once bright and innocent look that the girl had come to adopt would face a major rehaule as she would be clad in blacks and gray, dimming the bright look down. That along with some eye shadow, some clever use of makeup, and a possible adjustment to her hairstyle should fool the marines long enough to finish her deal with them. One by one she began to lay the her clothes out, a black tank-top and dark gray jacket, the typical blue jeans and some nice cherry lipstick among other small oddities to help sell it, along with a dog collar since it would bring the whole to perfection. With this done all that was left was to remove any other…. Obstacles to her plan. “Cassy, I’m coming in to get your clothes cleaned. I already set out you another outfit on the bed.” She calls out as she lightly taps on the wooden door. After hearing the reply she smiles over at Cassy before plucking up the soaked clothes and heading back out of their rooms along with every other piece of clothing each of them head, leaving the girl with only the choices she had left for her. The rest she placed into the other room she had broken into, hiding them from sight and re-locking the door as she waits back in their room with an amused smile; awaiting the moment that the Cassy realizes just what was in store for her along with a long list of reasons why it was necessary. Yuri changed back into her Marine uniform and hung around the docks waiting for Sai to come back and regroup with her. Truthfully she was a bit nervous, he seemed antsy for a fight, a proper plan took subterfuge, stealth, and patience. He on the other hand seemed to be itching for a fight, she could only hope his conflict anxiety would be held in check by the greater goal. After a bit he arrived seeming confident in his actions. "Don't worry about the riot, i've already got the whole thing set up." "Good to hear, now I'll wait to hear signs of the riot and then make my move. You go do your distraction thing and meet me back at the dock warehouse I specified. Hopefully by then I'll have mitigated and neutralized security." She added as she turned and headed in the direction of the warehouse. She would scope it out for a bit and see what kinds of security they had before she had to make her move. _____________________________ The Captain of Lougetown headquarters was deep in contemplation. There had been a significant amount of confliction within his ranks within the span of a few hours. A pirate outs themselves at a re shop store and manages to escape, a Marine begins to vagrantly abuse their power in public, now there is wind of a riot forming and the press has already released a special report o the abuses. The rate at which the damage has escalated is too high to be natural. He leaned back in his chair and rubbed his chin with his index and thumb. Could the two incidents be connected, if so what was the point. The pirate who outed themselves was unknown, perhaps sewing unrest was their attempt to quickly gain infamy. if that were the case from the reports, the crew consisted of at least those two individuals. the woman who outed herself, and the "Marine" causing the disturbance. He would have to step in personally at this rate. But first, while the riot may have been a diversion for some greater scheme it was still something not to be ignored. He picked up the den den mushie and began to relay his orders. "All available patrols report in and head to help quell the riot, PEACEFULLY. Any officer found trying to antagonize the rot is to be detained as an enemy combatant until an investigation determines otherwise. All units be on the lookout for Marines acting suspiciously, we need to root out the source of this conflict and kill it before the chaos spreads any further in our ranks. All squads guarding key defensive strongholds be n guard, I have a sneaking suspicion this riot is a distraction." He said as he hung up the receiver. He stood up and grabbed the Jutte by his desk and slung it into his belt loop holder. His square face held a few scars from conflict but he had an unshakably stern resolve in his eyes. Clearly he had seen his fair share of conflict and he was no rookie. ________________________________ Yuri crept her head out from the corner and looked distastefully at the guards who seemed to be highly alert and on duty. She had hoped they would have dropped their guard a bit with the unrest but they seemed even more determined to keep watch. She'd really have to lay it on thick to try and convince them. She closed her eyes and drew a deep breath and mentally aligned herself in dere mode. Getting a shy expression on her face she ran up two the two male guards standing watch at the gate. "Oh my gosh thank goodness, there... there's a riot going on! A captain told me that he needed all available Marines to be sent for reinforcements!" she said in a timid tone. The guards glanced at each other nervously. They had after all just received the report about guard units remaining on duty, and that all suspicious acting Marines should be considered carefully. "Yes.. we got the den den announcement as well about what we should do. What unit are you in?" They asked watching closely for signs of a tell. Mentally Yuri strained herself fearing she'd been sniffed out already, but analyzing what she knew of the girl she ambushed who had little to not stamina or muscle she likely hadn't seen much active duty, and the uniform was one of a new recruit, odds are she was some low ranking chore girl or something along that lines and hadn't seen much or any active combat. "W-well I don't have one actually, I was only just promoted from chore girl to active duty and was supposed to be formally assigned my unit later today." she made up on the spot. The Marine walked back into the guard house and radioed hq to verify that there was a girl matching the description. The den den line worker didn't have the specific files but they relayed that there was a recent girl her size and form that was recently promoted from chore girl to ensign. At least that part was true, he stepped out and rubbed the back of his head. "Yes it seems your story checks out. Since it doesn't seem you have a den den mushie then I guess there's no helping it. We suspect a criminal has infiltrated our ranks and is sewing discord to distract us fro a greater goal. Our Captain is working to root out the source. Since you don't seem to have any combat skill and it might be dangerous for a young female Marine out during a riot it would be best if you stayed here, at least we can vouch for your safety here. There is a small guard state where we monitor the cameras about 100 feet back, there are 2 other marines monitoring those stations. Tell them Lieutenant Guera said it was ok to let you in." he said as he turned and unlocked the gate leading to the sectioned off warehouse and let her inside. Yuri mentally sighed that her bluff had succeeded. She bowed politely and thanked him as she stepped inside. She looked around, it was one large warehouse built right into the dock, they might have even had confiscated pirate ships held there as well that could be taken in an emergency if needed. There seemed to be about 2 guards patrolling the perimeter. So in total 6, this was gonna be hard. in any case the first step would be to disable communications. She stepped inside the watch house and bowed before the two marines who stood up. She quickly explained her situation and told them what the lieutenant had told her to tell them. they seemed to accept it and beckoned her to sit down. There seemed to be 4 cameras that covered the corners of the warehouse. They were all fed into the main mushie hidden under the desk that relayed the images to the monitors. If she could manage to take out that one, then she could disable their communications equipment. The two of them were pouring over the monitors enough that they hardly noticed her stealth behind them. she slammed both of her metal palms against the back of their head and thrust them forward into the monitor and enacted the pistons in her arms further smashing their faces. the glass of the monitors shattered and cut their face. They had managed to accidentally push the button and call the front so their cries of pain went through, noticing this she promptly screamed as well before tearing mushie receiver out of it's socket. the screens went dark and with their their monitors were down. She only had a few seconds to respond. she scooped up some of the blood off of their face and covered her chest and abdomen in it so that it looked like she had been attacked as well. She quickly chugged a bit of ketchup and put the bottle away. One of the guards from the front rushed up and quickly scanned the scene. seeing the two monitor watches badly injured and the equipment destroyed would have normally been enough for him to consider her the prime suspect but given she was currently curled up and bleeding his sympathetic nature got the best of him. As he made his way over to her she dramatically coughed u the ketchup on the floor and over her hands between whimpering sobs. "S-s-so fast... couldn't s-suseee... I-I-I d-dun't w-wanna die..." she sobbed as her face took on a pale complexion. "H-hey hold on! I've gotta inspect the wound and stop the bleed." He said she he quickly bean to lift up her shirt to inspect the damage. Once her shirt was pulled all the way up he was stunned for a moment as there was no wound. He was even more stunned when her chest opened up and a canon extended and popped into his face. Before he could utter a word it went off exploding in his face. he fell backwards into a smokey pile. This was sure to have alerted the other guard, but he couldn't call for backup given she disabled their communications.. She stood up and hid behind the door. As soon as he stepped inside she descended from the shadows and covered his mouth with one hand as hydraulic punched his abdomen with the other. Her iron grip unbroken she repeatedly nailed his back until he fell down limp. She spat on the ground and got changed into her normal dress her Marine uniform burnt away from the close range canon shot she fired. She'd wait a bit for Sai to arrive before they took out the last two and raided the warehouse. She handcuffed them all together and gagged them all just i case they woke up. Snagging all their keys she stood just outside the entrance waiting for her partner to arrive. |

Sai noticed that he was getting fairly close to the warehouse and decided to slow himself down. The entire city was now in an uproar, citizens were running around, conflicts were breaking out with all of the nearby troops and the reinforcements were starting to show themselves. Sai hid himself behind a corner and waited as everyone made their way down to the main conflict that he had left. Besides the noise in the distance, lougetown was surprisingly quiet. Finding that he had made such good time, and that Yuri was most likely not finished yet, he decided to take a little break and refuel. A nearby convenience store was still open so he went inside. The owner really didn't look like he wanted to be there but had stayed anyways, Sai grabbed a snack and drink and walked up to the counter. "Im surprised your not down in the middle of all that mess boy, the entire city seems to be involved now." "Im actually just visiting the town, i've been wondering whats going on. Have you heard anything?" "It seems like the entire town has gone to hell, a pirate outed themselves at the warehouse earlier today and the marines have finally shown their corrupt selves. The townspeople just don't feel safe around anyone anymore. Me included. So what are you visiting for?" "Just the first leg of the adventure of a lifetime, remember my face, ill be one of the most famous people in the world eventually... hopefully... nevermind..." Sai had depressed himself with uncertainty, and had eaten his food while he talked. He left money on the counter and began to leave the store. "Well be careful out there, its hard to trust anyone anymore." "It doesn't matter anymore, it's all my fault anyways." Sai was serious when he said this, but the owner didn't seem to believe him do to the obvious display of depression. "Well if your going to be as famous as you said, im sure ill see more of you in the future. Ill remember your face for you." He said smiling. Sai looked back at the man, his stomach pains seemed to cease for that moment. "I guess ill have to try my best then, thanks old man." He finally made it out of the store and around the corner, then promptly barfed up everything he had eaten. It didn't matter though, he had some nutrition and energy again, it was time to move on. The warehouse was finally within his grasp, security was lacking in his opinion, but Yuri had probably already done a sizable amount of damage in that sense. Finding the entrance, and yuri standing outside it, he became excited and made his way up to her. "Oi Yuri, its finally time right? We can finally take over this damn warehouse? Do i get anything special?" |

Cassy frowned and paused to smell herself a few times, wretching and gagging afterwards. “Bleh! This water smells disgusting!” She whined. “I smelt nice before you pushed me into the grungy docks.” She said afterwards, folding her arms stubbornly over her chest. She scuffed her toes on the floor a few times, looking down at the paving beneath her feet that was now soaked through since she had been stood there. Her clothing was still dripping even though she had done her best to squeeze it out as well, and her hair was still sticking out at odd angles after she had shaken her head at Lilith. Even though her first mate told her where to go to find the hotel room, she stayed put with a confused expression on her face. She’d stay there until Lilith started going in the right direction, and then she would follow as if she knew where to go all along. Soon enough, that very thing happened, and Cassy followed along rather happily. She nodded slowly and purposely when Lilith asked her not to cause any more trouble for them. “Yeeees, Lily-chan... I won’t.” She promised solemnly. And walked beside her companion happily, swinging her arms back and forth and humming gently underneath her breath. She turned and tilted her head to the side at Lilith when she said to go and have a bath. “No problem!” She chirped, plucking at her soaking wet clothes. “It’s not like I can go out again looking like this anyway.” She grinned and laughed, starting to cross the bar. The old bartender wasn’t here, and she could hear a bustling in the kitchen to the left. He must be preparing some food. The bored waitress was sat down at a table, reading the newspaper. She was chewing bubblegum very loudly, and the sound irritated Cassy a little bit. Nevertheless, she headed up to their room and unlocked the door much easier than she did last time. Their room had an adjoining bathroom with a bath/ shower. Even though a shower would be quicker, a bath would be nicer, and Lilith had specifically said a bath. Cassy gladly ran hot water into the bath which was surprisingly spotless, and peeled off her soiled clothing. She left her clothes in a pile on the floor and quickly hopped into the warm bath, foaming up a large amount of bubbles. At first her skin tingled from the large change from cold to hot, but she slowly grew accustomed to the heat. She scrubbed at her skin with a sponge, washing away all the horrible water that had been in the dock. She didn’t jump when she heard Lilith’s voice at the door, and by this time she was simply laying in the nice, clean bath water. “Come in!” She called in response, resting her arms on either side of the bath and looking up as her first mate entered the bathroom. She gave the purple-haired woman a bright smile, not at all bothered that she was in the bath. First of all, the water covered her completely, and secondly, Lilith was also a girl. And besides, Cassy lacked the dignity and shame that most females often had. Another outfit on the bed, eh? “I wonder what I’m gonna wear...” She pondered aloud to herself, leaning back in the water. She held up her hand and looked at her skin slowly starting to prune up. With this, she decided that it was time to get out of the bath. Cassy pulled the plug out of the bath, standing up and hopping out. She found a towel on a towel rail and quickly dried herself off with it, towel-drying her hair and then wrapping the towel around her body; tucking it in at the top so that it wouldn’t fall down and she wouldn’t have to hold it. With no rush, she exited the bathroom, leaving the door open to let the room air a bit since everything had become rather steamed up. She looked at the outfit laid out on the bed in confusion, pointing at it and giving Lilith a puzzled look. “Lily-chan... are those... the clothes that I’m gonna wear?” She asked slowly, inspecting how boring and dull the clothes were. She screwed her face up like a child would when they didn’t get their way, or their favourite toy had gone missing. She immediately started to look for her bag so that she could wear her own clothes, but her bag was nowhere to be found. It looked like Lilith had planned all of this! “But... but... but...” She whined, staring angrily at the clothes laid out for her. She never wore make-up! And now she was expected to? Cassy sat down on the bed in protest, turning her head away while still frowning. “Why? Why do I have to wear them? Why do I have to wear make-up?” Although she was posing questions, they sounded more like demands that needed to be answered. A shiver crept up her spine, and she started to realise that it was cold simply sat there in a towel. She sighed bitterly, showing her utter annoyance and distaste at the outfit she was being forced to wear, and began to dress; not at all perturbed by Lilith being in the same room. Surely if she was not going to be noticed by the Marines she could wear her own clothes, but not the bright ones. Being in such dull, boring colours and strange clothing made Cassy feel strange; so much so that she didn’t feel like herself anymore. She stood barefooted in front of the full length mirror dressed in the disguise outfit with her arms folded stubbornly. The clothing didn’t look ghastly on her, in fact quite the opposite; it made her look more grown up. She wouldn’t put the make-up on, since she didn’t actually know how. There was a tube of skin-coloured liquid that she guessed was foundation, a longer black tube of mascara, a thick black eye liner pencil and cherry red lipstick to be worn. She simply stood there, giving the pair of knee-high black boots that Lilith had also chosen for her to wear a distasteful look. She knew that she also wasn’t allowed to wear her orange ribbon headband, and that made even more annoyed. Lilith had better let her wear her locket, otherwise she would refuse to go out. |

All that she had to do was wait, that small thought was what had make Lilith content to simply sit down and twiddle her things thinking that Cassy wouldn’t take very long in the bath. However waiting on someone in the bath, with no books, violin, or anything else to keep her even mildly occupied, was not one of her smarter moves. So for the relatively short time Cassy remained in the tube, which seemed to be longer for a certain musician, Lilith remained laying on her side near the clothes. Idly lifting up the lipstick and mascara as she tried to imagine how they would look on Cassy. The clothes would probably be enough to help thing since Cassy wasn’t exactly a well-known pirate, but they couldn’t hurt… plus she needed something to do as her own personal revenge after pulling that shelf down on top of her. Pushing Cassy into the water was pretty satisfying; however she had done that to keep her quite when her instincts were roaring at her to hush the girl. It was the right move to make, however now that she thought of it there were actually several other ways of getting them out of a bind back then without shoving her captain into the dock water. Just… none that she trusted Cassy since they usually required acting and the ability to tell what the other was thinking. Her eyes drifted over to the bathroom as she heard the door handle twisting and opening to reveal Cassy bathed in a mist swirling around her. With that as her queue she slipped off of the bed and slowly walked up behind Cassy, just in case the girl needed some strong arming to listen to reason. “Yes they are, I picked them out just for you; I hope you like them.” She said with a warm smile as she gave Cassy a slight push towards the clothes to get her moving in the right direction. After all, unless Cassy wanted to walk around naked then she had no choice but to do as she said, since it was very unlikely her captain would know how to find their stuff. “The only but allowed here is yours slipping into those clothes.” She said with a slight smack to the back of Cassy’s head before pointing at the clothes. “You were the one who declared yourself as a pirate in front of marines; which almost gave me a concussion after I pulled shelves down on myself and your pursuers, thank you very much. For all we know they could have had your picture taken in there and already posted it up in some key locations just as a precaution. So if you wear dark clothes then you will blend in more with the crowds, and the grey buildings instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.” During the brief scolding with a look of utter seriousness Lilith refrained herself from mentioning that she could pretty much talk their way out of the entire situation, but the best way to teach Cassy not to do these kinds of things was through fear and bad memories… hopefully. With Cassy beginning to change she turned her back respectively to give her captain some privacy in dressing. When it was all finished she looked over her shoulder and blinked in surprise. Her captain actually started to look her age in the clothes, the only thing that was ruining it was the scowl plastered all over her face. Walking up to get a closer look she turned Cassy to face her as she eyed the woman up and down with a calculating gaze. The clothes would do their job in letting people’s eyes just slide over her for the most part. And hopefully remind her to keep quiet as they go get their ship ready for sail. “See, you look great in the clothes. It makes you more mature, more sophisticated. But… I don’t think that you can pull off make-up at the moment; I want to get our ship ready so we don’t have too much time left to spend here. Meet me out front and I’ll be down with our stuff to meet up with you.” After her captian left she went over their room one last time to make sure she got everything before letting out a sigh and heading out, locking the door behind her. Two more steps then she was unlocking the door that she hid their stuff in and slipped inside to begin picking it all up before carrying it down the stairs. “Cassy, take your share of the bags. I want our ship ready to leave for tomorrow so we can just put this stuff down on it.” She said as she held her arms out to wait for the much needed help. With their loads equally shared she took one more look around to get her bearings before walking off towards the warehouses. If she remembered right then they should be able to get to their ship with just the slip of paper in her pocket. As they approached the warehouse a small party of three marines stood guard at the street, already watching them the moment they stepped into view. “What ever happens just let me do all the talking and play along, I already made an appointment.” She whispered under her breath before walking up to the marines, only to be stopped as on stepped out into her way. “Excuse me miss, I need to see your permit to enter this area. We seem to be having some issues with order so no one without an appointment can enter.” He said as he looked them both over briefly, his brown eyes resting on Cassy for a moment longer than on Lilith. “Have I seen you before miss? I get the feeling like we met before but I can’t quite place it.. “She gets that a lot it seems, i think it’s her cloths or brown hair that do it… far to common and easy to mix up.” Lilith replied with a shake of her head while handing the man the piece of paper she got in the store. A brief glance over at Cassy showed her that they should be able to get in without a problem, but she knew that once they got to the ship things might heat up once she finally admits how and where she managed to get it. “Everything seems to be in order here, head straight down this road and take the third street to your right. Turn left after two streets and you will be in the shipping section; your ship number is on A21 on dock A. Shouldn’t be too hard to find.” The man said before stepping out of their way to let them through, all three returning their attention to keeping a look out. Lilith kept on walking until they were out of earshot and breathed a sigh of relief, she just wanted to day to end. She was growing hungry, weary, and hasn’t eaten all day it felt like. She was sure that her captain at least managed to get something to chew on in the bar but she hadn’t been as lucky with running around everywhere. Edited by Keiri, Dec 4 2011, 09:40 AM.
