“Hey! Is that... Loguetown?” Cassy shouted down from the crows’ nest on the merchant ship, gaping in awe at the size of the next island. It... was... huge! “Right you are, lil’ lady.” One of the merchants shouted back up from the deck. “We’re getting ready to dock.” Cassy beamed with delight as stars appeared in her eyes. “Just think, Lily-chan! We can make our name start here! Look at the size of this island! We’ll be famous in no time!” She chirped happily, getting to her feet and standing up in the crows’ nest with her hands planted on her hips. A gentle sea breeze blew through her hair, and the sun reflected back at her from the clear blue sea. For the past couple of weeks sailing, the weather had been wonderful. Clear blue skies and sea as far as the eye could see.

During the two weeks they had been sailing towards Loguetown, Cassy and Lilith had started to gain that bond a Captain and First Mate needed. Even though it was inevitable Cassy had annoyed her first mate to death, no doubt, it was all in good fun. That was just who she was. Then again, she didn’t even know when she was annoying somebody... she didn’t know when to stop and what line there was to cross.

Nevertheless, they’d had a good two weeks aboard the merchant ship with Lilith’s friends. After this, they would have to get another ship. Or ‘borrow’ one off another pirate crew. Preferably one that wasn’t falling to pieces, of course. It felt good to have her own crew. She didn’t really make any amazingly captain-ish decisions though; that was mainly thought through by her first mate. If it was up to Cassy, they would have boarded the ship she used to get to Mirrorball. But of course, that didn’t happen. Lilith refused to board it because of it being so unsafe. Cassy didn’t help her case by falling through the hull either. The merchant ship was nice though; comfortable, and sea-worthy. It was almost sad to say goodbye to the sailors aboard the ship, even though she didn’t know them that well.

Here we are! Loguetown!” A sailor called from the deck, running across to anchor the boat in place. A few sailors were securing the ship at the docks with a thick rope to be doubly sure that it wouldn’t go anywhere. Cassy beamed and climbed down quickly from the crows’ nest, running ashore to the dock and breathing in the new air. “Ah... I smell... adventure.” She said in a dreamy tone of course. The sailors were used to this rather strange behaviour from Cassy by now, or they just ignored it. One of them grinned and patted her shoulder. “Take care of Lilith, ya hear, kiddo? We don’t know what we’re gonna do without her music every night now. She grew to be part of the family.” He said to her, and Cassy gave him a wide, confident grin. “Don’t worry, mister! I won’t let anything happen to Lily-chan! She’s my nakama now; and I never let any of my nakama get hurt.” She nodded her head firmly, and went round shaking all the sailors’ hands. “Thanks for everything!

Then, she was left with her panda-shaped rucksack over her back. Her plush toys from Mirrorball were stuffed inside there now as well as her clothes, so it was looking rather bulky. She stretched and laughed, turning and looking at Loguetown better. It was already bustling with life even though it was still a little early in the morning. “Lily-chan! C’mon, let’s go and get some supplies!~” She chirped eagerly, already taking off at a fast-paced walk.

Impatient as ever.

Sitting down against the main mast Lilith was idly plucking the strings to her violin and playing a few test notes. A slight frown on her face as she continued to adjust the shiny brown instrument, tightening and loosening the strings as she tried to work out the small imperfections that had occurred in it during their travel. At some point in time someone must have messed with it, and if they didn’t then the only other thing was that the oils she used to keep it from rotting at the hands of the ocean breeze was finally wearing off. It was only when her caption called her name that she leaned her head back to look up at the crow’s nest before turning her attention to the slowly growing island. “Famous isn’t that good if we get captured along the way.” She mumbles to herself, knowing that arguing with Cassy at the moment was a useless thing.

By now she had thought of several ways to browbeat Cassy into doing something or more importantly not doing something, withholding songs or other things she seemed to want, going for the plain dragging her away or knocking the girl out and carrying her someplace where she couldn’t cause any trouble. Which may have been her favorite so far, but she hoped that a firm tone might work with her just as well as it had with her sister while they were growing up.

With one final glance at the growing Loguetown she lets out a small sigh and pushes herself to her feet. It was time to pack up and finally leave this ship once and for all, she had spent too much time with the crew and that would just make it harder to leave them. Just as she finished packing up both her stuff and Cassy’s she come out onto the main deck, the ship had already pulled into the harbor and began to tie themselves to the dock. “Cassy! You’re not sticking me with your stuff, slow it down.” She calls out to her captain the moment that she saw Cassy try to walk off on her, if they didn’t get their stuff now then there was no way of knowing when they would be able to get it. With a quick pace of her own she closed in on her captain before the girl could even think of escape; if they didn’t carry their stuff on them then when Cassy made a scene, which she seemed like doing to be famous, they might need a quick getaway.

Lifting Cassy’s backpack up she drops it into her captian’s arms and looks around the city streets while walking along. Her eyes scanning the shops and buildings for supplies or a cheap place to stay as she walked ahead of Cassy. “The merchants won’t be here for too long, we should find a cheap place to stay first and buy supplies as we need them until we can get a ship. Just… don’t get into any trouble please Cassy, we really shouldn’t get bounties until we atleast have a ship and some experience.” Lilith said before looking over her shoulder to look at Cassy.

The boat ride was somewhat long. Yuri managed to pass the time by sleuthing around and snapping photo's of the other patrons embarking on the journey. Her destination was Lougetown, a hot spot of Marine activity it would be a good place to start her spree. Exposing "illicit" behavior within the Marine ranks could cause confusion which in turn would let her achieve her real goal. Inside the warehouse district there was a lock up for contra-ban and confiscated criminal goods. That was her goal. To gain access to the storehouse and steal the goods within. However this in of itself was a risky procedure. She'd need a good distraction, then she'd need to steal a Marine Uniform and somehow gain access to the facility. To do this she needed a rube, someone she could convince to take on the near suicidal role of draw the full force of the Marines attention away from the facility in question.

She found that role in a one Sai Smith. She could recognize his familiarity with illegal activity. The subtle way he moved told her he was skilled in stealth of some kind. After approaching him in a friendly manner she had probed his ideals and values until she felt she could divulge with him her plan to steal the stolen goods from the Marines to distribute to the needy and poor. He ended up being the moral type so he seemed to want to go along with this. She had convinced him that he goods should be taken too another island for distribution, as the marines would recognize the stolen goods if they were distributed to the needy here. He agreed thankfully and they began to go over their plans in private.

"Fist things first, we're going to need disguises. When we arrive at shore we should scope out the place, get a rough estimate on how many Marines are station at our targets. We should locate some Marines that are about our size and then steal their uniforms or emblems. Once we have our disguises we can move into phase two. You'll create a distraction somewhere dressed as a Marine while doing something bad, if you can whip the townspeople into a frenzy they may end up rioting. We can use the additional distraction to sneak into the base warehouse incognito. Once there between the two of us we can try and shut down security systems and disable the remaining personnel. Then we pick the locks, get the goods and are out of there on the next boat we can find. It should be pretty easy for us honestly." she mentioned as she went over the list of their objectives. A foghorn let them know that their ship was approaching the harbor. A grin kept across her face. If things went smoothly he could be blamed for the incident and she'd get off without getting a bounty. Worse case scenario is she has to force her way through or out, but given her strong cyborg body that shouldn't be too hard.

"Do you have any ideas for how you want to create a distraction?" she asked hoping he had a useful idea, if nothing else she might be able to jury rig him some device or something he could use to cause some havoc. The boat began to pull into the docks as the deckhands began to tie it down. Yuri's trip had been a simple one. While she had managed to sneak around and get some good compromising photos none of them were oood enough blackmail material, and she didn't want to raise alarms yet given the size of the heist she intended to pull. As her fellow travelers departed from their ship she stepped off alongside her "partner" she began to scope and zoom her lenses around the crowd of people looking for any Marine activity. They'd have to do some reconnaissance first to get a feel for the climate of the marine activity, but she specialized in studying a target from a distance being a photography so that would be simple.

Sai never did care too much for slow traveling. He had somehow been picked up by a passenger ship when his boat suddenly decided that it would be funny if it just collapsed in on itself while he was asleep. Only an hour of treading water was his consequence for trusting his little boat too well. He kept kicking himself for that one. But someone on the ship had spotted him there and they were able to help him climb aboard.

The people on the ship were simple, no pirates, no marines, just civilians. This made the trip extremely boring. It wasn’t until he heard where the destination was that he started to get excited. Not because he knew if it was important or not, but because he knew where his adventure was going to start. It was nice knowing the destination of the journey. The news inspired him to grab some attention for himself as he had been going by pretty much unnoticed so far. So he began by bumping into a few people and nabbing their wallets, only to turn to them and say “Gotcha”. It was humorous how every person, once they saw their wallet in his hand would begin searching every crevice of their own body for what he was holding in front of their face. “You should be more careful, otherwise someone who wants your crummy paper money will actually take it.” Disappointed in the lack of coins and handing back their wallets with a big grin. Many of those who saw or were victims began to give him strange looks, and that’s what he had wanted, but one girl in particular actually went up to him with a proposition.

They spent a while talking and she was very curious about him for some reason. She was really interested in what his ideals were, which were easily released from his mouth. He wasn’t embarrassed, he was proud of what he believed in and would risk his life for it. Maybe… After a little talking she explained her plan of robbing a marine storehouse. Sai knew that many marines were corrupt, and if lougetown had so many, there was bound to be something of value in there. Distributing to the poor was just a little bonus. He happily agreed to this plan, imagining all of the valuables and goods that he could skim through before giving the dumb stuff away. He liked this girl; she was smart for being so young.

After listening to her explanation of the beginning of the plan, he began to visualize what would be going on. “Im sure I can leave the scoping out part to you, you don’t seem like you would miss as much as I would but ill help how I can. What to do to cause a riot though?” This was the only part of the plan he couldn’t visualize just yet. A couple ideas ran through his head but nothing was for sure. If he could gain command of a small squad that would be best. “Marines never disobey their superiors, maybe if we can impersonate some fairly high ranked marine? That would give this whole mission a nice twist.” He said smiling as they pulled into the dock. He eagerly began looking around for some average looking marines, “What better time to get started then now?” If he was really lucky on this island, maybe he could get a bounty.

Cassy had been hoping that she could get away with lumping all her things with Lilith, but apparently not. She pouted and sighed, waiting for her First Mate to catch up to her. “Fine...” She muttered and took her rucksack back, lugging it over one shoulder while they walked up the dock. She listened to the ever level-headed Lilith and nodded in agreement. Maybe it would be best to get some place to stay first. “Alright! Let’s go find somewhere to stay.” She decided, nodding her head to confirm their plan that they had going.

She kept her amber eyes busy with looking at the many buildings lining the main street in Loguetown, frowning a little to herself while she looked up and down. Finally, she spotted a bar with a ‘Vacancies’ sign in the window. She grinned and eagerly grabbed hold of Lilith’s arm, dragging the other female across to inquire about a room. “See! I bet this place is cheap! Just look at the state of it!” Cassy claimed proudly, waving behind her at the rather ransacked bar. It was old; paint on the outside was peeling off, the odd window was smashed through, the door was very rickety and hanging onto its hinges by a thread... perfect. She got a few strange and disapproving looks at what she said from the people around her, but she couldn’t care less. She stormed inside the bar, looking around the dreary main room. The place was like a ghost building. Only the tired old bartender stood behind the bar, and a bored-looking waitress milled around with nothing to clear up.

“Hi there!” Cassy said cheerfully to the bartender, skipping across to the bar and leaning on top of it, sending a wide grin at the old man. “We’d like to take a room for a few nights please!” She said politely. The man looked extremely surprised and rather dazed by Cassy’s bright personality. “O-Oh. Wow... okay then.” He said after a few seconds of letting the initial shock sink in. “Let me show you it.”

He led them to a staircase around the corner concealed behind a wall, down a creaky corridor to the nearest room door. The dark paint on this was peeling off as well, leaving a rather rotten-looking light wood door behind. A wonky number 1 was placed on it to signify the room number, and a doormat that had been worn down to terrible threads was at the foot at the door. “I hope it’s okay for you.” The man bowed deeply and left them with a rusty key. Cassy tried for ages to get the room open; nearly throwing the key down the corridor in frustration. “YOU STUPID KEY!” She kept shouting towards the end, kicking the door. Finally, it seemed that the door had enough. It opened inwards slowly, creaking as if oil hadn’t been put on its hinges for nearly a century.

She grinned with triumph, stepping inside and throwing her rucksack down onto the nearest bed. “Hehe this place looks great!” She said brightly. Although it most certainly wasn’t great, it wasn’t half bad. The floor boards creaked a little bit, the beds looked a little bit... worn out. There was a window at the far side of the room looking out onto the main street with a pair of net curtains hanging down the side on their rail. A bathroom was attached to the bedroom, which was at least clean. The decor hadn’t been changed for goodness knows how many years, and there was a bath instead of a shower. But all in all... it wasn’t bad. And as Cassy had expected, the room was dirt cheap too. When the old man came back up to ask how their room was, he told them the price. It was only 100 beli for four nights.

“Taken!~” She claimed brightly, forking out the beli there and then. The man smiled happily and offered tea to both her and Lilith. Cassy smiled apologetically and patted the old man’s shoulder. “Sorry pops, but we need to go and get some supplies before we set sail again. Maybe later, eh?” She decided chirpily, nudging Lilith’s side and looking up at her First Mate. “Let’s get going!”

With that, she was already leaving the room. She skipped down the corridors and stairs, across the bar and back out into the street. She stood there with her hands on her hips for a little while, looking around curiously for any shops that caught her eye. People couldn’t help but stare at her while they walked past; obviously quite dazzled by her bright attire. She had chosen to wear a bright white vest shirt with a looser neon orange shirt over the top which rested off her left shoulder, short blue denim shorts with numerous rips on them and blue sneakers with rainbow coloured laces as her own little addition. Around her neck was her mother’s old locket; the one thing she kept polished and in pride of place. Inside the locket was a picture of her mother and her as a baby, and it was the most precious thing she owned.

“LILYYYYYYY-CHAN!” Cassy shouted, cupping her hands around her mouth so that Lilith could hear. “COME ON!” She protested impatiently, frowning and looking around at the people in the crowds.

Looking around at the buildings with her golden gaze, Lilith tried to keep an eye out for a suitable place to stay or get supplies for later. So far she found nothing suitable during their short walk through the town, one inn had caught her attention at first before she realized just who it belonged to. During her travel through east blue and chatting with various sailors, the Red Armada chain was something that was great to stay at if you were doing well financially, but the only thing cheap about it was their alcohol. One night would cost her nearly a quarter of her money; money that was far better spent on something long term or lifesaving. So when Cassy called out to her about a cheap place she eagerly turned with a smile to look behind her captain.

What she saw was nothing like she expected from Cassy, there was no bright colors, no attracting theme, no food specials or anything of the like. Just a rundown bar that in all honestly could very well be a home to criminals from the looks of things, a perfect place if everything Cassy had in mind for them came true, a hell hole for Lilith if she managed to keep her captain from getting them killed their first month as a crew. “…Cheap is good… but so is not getting eaten by rats.” She replied even as Cassy stormed off inside, leaving her first mate to look from the run down and hell hole of a place to stay to the overpriced inn with everything one could want. “At least she is listening.” She mumbled to herself before dragging her feet into the bar, silently swearing that if she got bedbugs then she would make her captain pay.

As she stepped inside she got there just in time to see Cassy asking for a room and take in the state of things. When she read the sign she thought that no one would actually be inside still, and that Cassy was just smart enough to pick out a place with no one in it to stay for a few nights. It wasn’t dusty like she expected, or broken tables or anything of the sort… it was just empty as far as she could tell, and broke, very very broke. With one final glance at the waitress she followed Cassy up the stairs and to their room.

Standing there looking very awkward as she watched Cassy try again and again to open the door, however no matter how much Lilith tried she just couldn’t bring it up to tell her captain she was supposed to turn the key the other way to unlock these kinds of locks. Her eyes were averted as she let Cassy go through it all, thinking that it was just the key’s fault and now her own. One her rage had finally burnt out, and nearly broke the door off the hinges it seemed, Cassy reluctantly followed her inside. “We need to work on your sense of taste.” She replied as she kept her bags on her and looked around. She still had the odd feeling like they were going to get robbed staying in this place, it just screamed of a safe haven for criminals.

Even after Cassy and the old man left she stood there looking around, before letting out a drawn out sigh and tossing her clothing bag onto the bed and walking over to the next locked room with the rest of her stuff. Crouching down she slips her lock picks out of her bag and proceeds to pick the third room’s lock, after several moments she finally broke in and hide her stuff underneath of the bed before slipping out and locking both their doors. “There’s no way I’m trusting this place” she mumbles to herself as Cassy’s voice penetrates the walls.

Once she finally was satisfied that everything was safe she came outside and reached out, grabbing Cassy’s hand, and dragging the girl behind her as Lilith took the lead. If she recalled correctly the merchants said that they knew of a few good places to stock up on supplies, one of which seemed very promising so long as they didn’t have bounties. After all supplies taken from pirates could be bought cheap from marines, but only if Cassy could keep quiet. “Keep an eye out for some good stores Cassy, until we get a ship we just need to buy food to get us by day to day. I’ll handle everything else alright?”

"Marines never disobey their superiors, maybe if we can impersonate some fairly high ranked marine? That would give this whole mission a nice twist."

"Perhaps that could work, though higher ranking Marines are bound to be tougher, and even harder to impersonate given their higher notoriety. Hmm perhaps, but I have an idea that might work." She said with a sly mischievous grin. She was beginning to spin a grand plan, but it'd require some set up first. They'd need to grab some uniforms for herself and him. To do that they'd need to lure two unsuspecting Marines that matched their sized. She stared at Sai intently for a few moments before utilizing her special signature technique.

"Yuri Scanning! There I've got it, I've analyzed your sizes and measurements! Now I can scan the other Marines I see and we can find one that matches, i already know my sizes so i can search for my disguise as well." She commented clenching her fist victoriously at another successful scanning. Not waiting for a reaction she marched along confidently secure in the knowledge that now that she had his measurements he was fully under her control such as that was how things worked, at least in her mind.

They walked for a bit passing a few Marines along the way until she found one that matched his specifications. She stopped and pointed him out. Leaning in close she began to whisper to him her plan.

"Ok here's the plan, stand at the entrance to the alleyway, when we both turn to look at you run into the alley. I'll send him over to you claiming that you had attacked me and stolen my purse, he'll chase after you and you hide and sneak attack him. I'll follow behind quickly and finish him off if you can't manage it alright. He looks about as strong as you so the first strike has to be a really good one if you're going to take him down fast." She said as she directed him to the alley entrance in question and started towards the Marine. She tore her dress a bit at the shoulder strap and in the front side and limped over towards the Marine from the direction of the alleyway.

"H-help me pleeeease!! That man, h-that man in the alleyway stole my purse and tried to assault me!!" She cried as tears began to roll down her cheeks as she lightly pressed her face into the Marines side. he looked down reassuringly at her before glaring at Sai in the Alleyway.

"Don't worry mam I'll take care of the perpetrator and ensure he faces justice!" He declared as she started to charge after him blindly into the alley. She sniffled and rubbed a tear out of her eyes, it truly touched her how naive some people were. She hobbled and limped after the two of them as long as she was in public view into the alley. As soon as she was clear from public sight she straightened up an snuck over to them to see how Sai had fared against the Marine. She was poised to dash forward top speed and bash him in the back of the head if he was in trouble. Given her strength and speed she'd more than be enough to knock him unconscious if need be.

Having this girl even somewhat consider his idea was nice. Plus, if they were stronger that means they were faster as well, just what he needed to achieve his dream. He began to envision all of the strong people he would be bound to face as stepping stones to his title, and all of the people who would both fear and admire him. His name would be known around the world and he loved it. His body began shaking and he was so distracted that he didn’t notice Yuri staring at him, or notice that she was talking very strangely; like she wasn’t entirely human.

They began walking past a few marines, he didn’t notice anyone around his size and she didn’t seem to either. All of the shops they passed began to catch his attention. Many were filled with trinkets and useless junk, but every single one had something glinting in the sunlight and he wanted to go and take it. But he already had plans with Yuri so he withheld his urges. One glimmer caught his eye more than any other, it wasn’t in a shop, it seemed that someone outside had it. And it was very far away, so he couldn’t see what it was or who was carrying it. It took 100% of his mental strength to hold off, only promising himself to come back for it later.

After a while Yuri suddenly stopped; she had located the uniform he would need to take. Her plan for it was simple as well. Just go in front of the alleyway and run when they looked at him. While he was walking over he was a little disappointed at first, but realized that it was up to him to take the marine out. Ideas began forming in his head on what to do but he noticed that the marine and Yuri were both looking at him, which made him jump as he ran into the alley, almost tripping on a garbage can as soon as he entered. The walls were close together and they didn’t seem too slippery. The buildings weren’t too tall either, so he ran up one side and jumped up to the edge of the roof, which began to crumble and he almost fell. But he didn’t as he scrambled up the rest of the wall just before the marine entered.

Sai didn’t have to long to take him out so he had to act fast. There were a few pebbles on the roof so he grabbed one and looked over the edge. The marine was just under him now. “Perfect!” he whispered, tossing the pebble into the garbage can. The small tap was enough to turn the marine around and slowly make his way to the can as Sai drew one of his knives. “Can’t bloody up the outfit so I’ll have to use the back.” Jumping off the roof as quietly as possible, he brought down the hilt of his knife right on top of the marines skull. Not wanting to take any chances, he also drew his other blade and punched at the back of his head, but the marine had retaliated and dodged the attack! Sai jumped back in surprise and a bit of joy, fights that end without actual confrontation were very boring, he wanted this man to know who beat him.

Sai charged forward very quickly, pulling both his knives in front of him. The marine carried a sword, therefor he had a bit longer of a reach, and in an alleyway it would be hard for Sai to get close. But because it was longer and in such tight quarters, the marine wouldn't be able to put any power into his swings, an advantage that could be fatal, if only he could use his blades instead of their hilts. As Sai drew closer, the marine, to use as much power as possible, lifted his sword high above his head, leaving his entire body open. Sai shook his head and accelerated to his top speed and slid under the mans legs, hitting the inside of his knees and making him collapse. He then used his knives to stop himself just behind the man, and quickly got up and kneed him in the back of his head.

The marine then collapsed but Sai caught him by the coat and dragged him to the back alley and began to strip him from his formal attire. After everything was on Yuri walked around the corner to check up on him. “You were right, this thing fits great! How do I look?” He said grinning madly, “Now we just need yours.”

Cassy was surprised when Lilith emerged from the place they were staying in, taking hold of her hand and dragging her down the road. She managed to catch up so she wasn’t being dragged, and frowned a little bit at her first mate. “Now that wasn’t very nice...” She muttered, but wasn’t too bothered about the rough handling. She had used it on her companion a lot during the short time they knew each other, and it had become rather normal to both of them. She listened to what Lilith had to say, nodding her head occasionally to show that she was paying attention. “Okay! Got it! Good stores, good stores...” She too scanned the shops on either side of them on the main street, concentration plain on her face. It was obvious no matter how comical she looked while doing this, she was actually being serious. All she wanted to do was impress her first mate!

While looking for a suitable shop that would supply them with cheap food for the time they were here in Loguetown, Cassy’s eyes were drawn to a very brightly lit building on their left. Since they were walking on the right, she would have to cross the street to have a look at it. She tugged at Lilith’s hand, whining a little bit and pointing at the bright coloured front door, the gadgets in the windows, the blaring neon lights surrounding the building. “There! Lily-chan, can we go in there?” She asked while the place was still in her sights.

Apparently, she just couldn’t sway her first mate. She was forced to continue walking, looking for boring shops that would sell what they needed. A Marine depot soon came into view; it was a large, white building bearing the Marine’s symbol on the front. It was almost like their headquarters, only it was square instead. A man was stood outside the depot, shouting about special offers and how cheap prices were in the shop. Cassy blinked with surprise as she heard they were giving away free sweets with every purchase, and then she instantly decided where they would go. It was cheap, and they gave away sweet thing! Who else could resist? She dragged Lilith over to the depot, not quite realising that the goods inside the shop were taken from the pirates that the Marines arrested. Cassy was... a little bit slow like that.

Everything inside was clean and white; everything to do with the Marines and their strict uniform policy. It was something to do with justice, Cassy was never really sure and she didn’t care either. The Marines only became appealing when they were selling such good food at such low prices. “Okay, how’s this?” She claimed proudly to her companion, smiling very smugly as if the whole thing was her own amazing thinking. When actually Lilith had been thinking about this kind of place all along. “I’m going to have a look around, Lily-chan.~ You can deal with getting food and stuff. Meet back at the entrance in... quarter of an hour?” She pointed at the clock behind them which showed the time; exactly one o’clock in the afternoon. So at quarter past one, they would meet up again with everything they needed and have time to look around for leisure instead.

Such a perfect plan!

Before Lilith could agree to Cassy’s thinking, the childish captain had already taken off to look at anything that attracted her attention. A member of staff at the depot noticed her wandering round aimlessly in circles, and came over to talk to her to ask if she was looking for anything specific. Cassy gave him a smile and shook her head. “Nah, I’m just looking around.” She said cheerily, and the man nodded in understanding; returning her smile. “If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Cassy started to wonder. Where could these people get such amazing discounted goods from? She knew that the Marines weren’t exactly rich, and they couldn’t pull money or food from anywhere. She turned and tapped the man on the shoulder, tilting her head in a quizzical manner towards him. “Hey mister, where do the Marines get all this food and everything from?” She asked, frowning a little bit in thought. He seemed very surprised; he assumed that everybody knew about how they got the goods that they then sold on at discounted prices. “Oh... you honestly don’t know? Well, the Marines reprimand all the goods with a pirate when they arrest them. Those goods are then sold to the general public. It’s a very clever system, don’t you think?” Cassy’s eyes began to widen, larger and larger until the man who had ‘helped her’ seemed to look very worried. “Uh... miss? Are you alright?...

YOU ROBBING BASTARDS! DIDN’T YOU THINK FOR A SECOND THAT US PIRATES HAD TO WORK HARD FOR STUFF WE’VE GOT?!?!” She yelled at the top of her lungs, glaring at the man who was now looking rather scared instead. “Y-You’re a pirate?” He squeaked, reaching behind a desk for something as he was backed up towards it. “Yes, you bet your squeaky-clean white uniform, I am! The name’s Cassy Bonny; and don’t you forget it!” She shouted, jabbing a thumb towards herself as if to make it even more obvious who she was talking about.

Quickly! Capture the pirate!” The man shouted, pressing a button behind the desk he had been pressed up against. Cassy blinked innocently and groaned. “Uh oh...” She said to herself before taking off and grabbing a handful of bread from a big basket. “Lily-chan! C’mon, we’re out of this place!” She shouted to her companion across the store, sprinting out with a massive armful of bread. She darted through the crowds, hoping to lose the Marines that were now assembling to capture her. “I refuse to be captured... before I make myself famous!” She said to herself, darting into an alleyway to save herself. Her chest was heaving, her heart was pounding, and above all, she was smiling so wide it looked as if her face would split. “Now that... was fun!

A single glance was all that she needed to know the answer to Cassy’s pleas. And in that single glance three things stood out to Lilith, neon lights, odd gadgets, and a too brightly colored door; nothing related to supplies and everything to do with a waste of precious beli if her captain was able to take a single step inside. “No.” She replied in a quick and firm voice, refusing to so much as acknowledge the other woman no matter how much Cassy might beg or whine. It was only when they turned the street and got them out of sight that she loosened her grip on Cassy’s hand.

However as they began to get closer to the store she had her mind set on the moment they stepped off the ship her eyes kept glancing over at her captain. Hoping that the other woman would become attracted to some other kinds of lights or gadgets that she would miss marine store selling all of the pirate goods; but that was not the case as for once Cassy did a wonderful job in finding just what they were looking for at the worst possible time.

Letting herself be dragged into the store Lilith immediately had a bad feeling about things, she had hoped she could sneak in here after sending Cassy off on some trivial chore to lessen the chance of her captain from being… herself. “I don’t know, we should look around more before we settle on shopping from here.” She replied as she looked around the store before looking back at the spot Cassy had been a moment before. Her blood running cold as she is faced with an empty space where once a hyperactive girl that loved to talk stood, and now the person dreaming of being a famous pirate with no intent on keeping it a secret was loose in a store ran by marines. Marines with guns, with swords, with hand cuffs and a strict law of bringing justice down upon pirates. “It can’t be that bad… I hope.”

She mumbled to herself before wandering over to a simple shelf stocker with a friendly smile on her face. “Excuse me, have you seen a child running around here?” She asks as she holds her hands up to around Cassy’s height. “she’s about this tall, kind of skinny, brown hair, and a headache for an outfit?” She says as the man blinks his eyes several times before looking around.

“Um, I’m not sure any child is that big… are you sure you are describing her right?” He says while getting up on a step stool and sliding a box labeled “East Blue Maps” on the top shelf. With a sigh of true disappointment Lilith nods her head as she averts her gaze away from the man. “Sadly, yes. You wouldn’t understand unless you met her though.” She replies before looking back at him to the shelves he had been stocking. Her gaze traveling over several interesting objects that some pirate probably plundered before meeting their unfortunate end at the hands of the marines. “Well there are only two exits from the store. The entrance and in the back for employees, if you stick around here you should be able to see her leave… is there anything else I can help you with miss?” He said politely.

He would have been very helpful if she had just been looking for a lost child, but for Lilith it wasn’t so much as worrying about Cassy leaving, it was more of keeping her from getting them into trouble more than anything. “Well, I guess I could use some help buying a small ship. Lately the cost of buying rides have just started rising higher and higher, so I think I can save more money if I buy one of your ships for cheap.” She said with a curious frown as she politely stepped up on the stool once the employee stepped down and opened the box of maps; thinking that they would be useful since they would hopefully sail off on their own after this.

Suddenly her entire body froze as she heard Cassy’s voice ranging throughout the store. Her eyes closed as she siliently prayed that they would think it was just some kind of sick joke, but knowing all along that the thing she feared most has just happened. Cassy proclaimed herself as a pirate, in a store ran by marines, most likely with marine guards, and in a place dedicated to living off of what they take from pirates. What came next Lilith knew to be expecting, being called out to follow her captian on a high speed chase throughout the streets with marines on their tails and eventually pinning them down in some alley way to die.

If they both ran, they died, if they stayed, they died, but if Cassy were the one to escape then there was some chance for hope. Without even a second though she leaned back off of the step stool and pulled the large shelf down with her as she let out a frightened scream. To her the fall felt slow and long, but to the marines that were beginning to chase after Cassy everything happened so fast. One moment they were about to run out of the door and keep their target in sight, the next they crashed to the floor as the weight of the shelf and Lilith fell on top of them; stopping the pursuit in its tracks as they all got trapped underneath of the weight on top of them.

Yuri crept around the corner expecting them to interlocked in combat, as far as she could tell they seemed like they were about even in strength and that was pretty low in fact. However when she peered around the corner she found her had already knocked him unconscious. He dragged the Marine into a private shut off area and began to disrobe both of them. Yuri crept along and secretly snapped a few nice photos using her right eye camera, they'd take awhile to develop but having semi nude pictures of someone was always decent for posterity and potential blackmail. After he had finished dressing she formally walked over to him.

"You were right, this thing fits great! How do I look? Now we just need yours.

"Not yet, first we need to create some "evidence" of the Marines corruption. Once I leak the proof to the mainstream media and amongst the community the outraged citizens will be ready to riot when you finally make your move." She said a Cheshire grin spreading across her face. She took a few steps to the left and back holding up her fingers to act as markers before she found just he right angle that looked convincing enough to be taken in secret.

"Ok now this is very important, I need you to touch him, touch him like you were about to take advantage of this poor unconscious mostly naked man. These will be our undisputed proof of the Marines corruption, we will use this to stir the people into a frenzy." She said a huge grin on her face and a slight nosebleed of a black oily substance dripping from hr nose. Of course she would e taking extra pictures for herself and for more possible blackmail material later.

-25 minutes later -

With the photos developing withing her body she strode around with a huge grin on her face. She had gotten more than what she wanted and was entertained to a good show from her "partner" as well. With the shots from the next phase of her plan in stow she resumed scanning for a new target that matched her specifications. After scanning the crowds for awhile she found a female Marine who matched her proportions. She pulled him into an alley and laid out her plan for him.

"Ok here's the plan. As a Marine you call her over saying you need emergency back up. Draw her into the alleyway and I'll ambush her and knock her out when I find the right opportunity. Think you can handle that?" she said as she waited for his nod of approval. With that she ran into the alleyway and looked around. Fairly narrow and the rooftops weren't too high. She crouched down and jumped up boosting her jump by activating the pneumatic pistons in her legs. She was able to leap 25 feet or so into the air and made it on top. Once she was led into the alleyway she'd descend from above and attack. her weight and metal body impacting with the force of gravity on her will easily knock her unconscious. She peered silently over the edge of the rooftop for any sign of her target to strike.

Sai didn’t really understand why this had to be done before she got her uniform, and he was not interested in men at all whatsoever. Looking down at the unconscious marine he felt a lurch in his stomach. This would come to haunt him later, he was 100% sure of that. But he complied, knowing that it was what needed to be done. He pulled the marine cap over his dual colored eyes and hid his face in the shadows as started “touching” this unconscious man.

Much of it he had to look away from what he was doing, it would help him deny it to himself later. But remembering the plan, he did it so it would look like he was making sure no one was watching. His mind would be scarred for the rest of eternity, she owed him for this, but how could he possible make her feel that way? "Evil little girl" he mumbled to himself. "This better be worth it"

-a few minutes later-

Shuddering in memory of what he had just done, Sai looked down at the girl. She seemed to be enjoying this far too much, although seeing her smile like this brought out his own. How could he be angry if it made her this happy? This momentary moment of joy almost made him forget that they were actually planning on doing something illegalish. Stealing the already stolen was a very confusing topic and dwelling on things always made his stomach hurt.

It didn’t take too much longer for them to find her match. It kind of surprised him that there were people fitting both of their sizes so perfectly in one town. “Some sort of goddess must be watching over us here” he said smiling as she divulged her plan to him.

Fairly simple once again, just lead her into the alleyway and ambush, he could do that. He turned and walked over to the little marine and checked the area as well, he didn’t want a squad to come to his aid. As he drew closer she noticed him approaching, turning towards him she saluted, which confused him a bit. “Are you busy marine? I need a bit of assistance in apprehending a criminal in that alleyway.” She had a bit of a confused look on her face. “Do you really need help sir?” she said looking over his uniform. “I just need an extra body to corner them, you go in directly and I’ll circle around the other side to capture. We need to hurry!” he said as he dashed off in the other direction.

Checking back he saw her running towards the alley. “Sweet!" something kept bothering him though "Why was she calling me sir?” He leaned down and dashed as fast as he could around a few buildings to reach the back of the alleyway, hopefully she would be done before he got there.

Cassy was elated; running away from the Marines and getting away with it. She was stood in the alleyway with a massive grin on her face, panting a little bit from sprinting earlier. “Where’d she go?!” A marine shouted while running past the alleyway, looking at his accomplices who all shrugged their shoulders. “I have no idea... that stupid shelf slowed us down! I told you that we should have strengthened them.” Another said, shifting his gun over his shoulder. Cassy held her breath and pressed her back up against the wall, hoping that nothing would give her away. Her eyes were locked on the Marines.

“We should split up and try to get more comrades on our side to help search.” The third one suggested. “Right!” They all concluded, splitting up in pairs and running off in opposite directions. She relaxed once more and laughed into her hands at how stupid these guys were. “Hehe... I’m home free.” She said happily and sighed, placing her hands on her hips and looking around. It was then that she realised something. Well, that something was missing; to be more precise. “Where’s Lily-chan?...” She questioned herself, frowning and trying to think where her first mate was. Had the other female left the building along with her? Ah... no, she didn’t. But apparently Lilith had caused a distraction, and she had some common sense; something that Cassy obviously lacked.

Shouting about pirates in a Marine shop really wasn’t the best thing to do. But she just couldn’t help herself. Cassy believed strongly in being a pirate from her mother, and she was so strung up on it that she would tell anybody about it. It was her version of saying, ‘Yes, I’m a doctor! I can save lives!’

Unfortunately, people like the Marines wouldn’t see the good side of being a pirate. They believed deeply in justice, and pirates did what they wanted, when they wanted. Justice just wasn’t part of their job description.

After deciding that the coast was clear, Cassy peeked out of the alley both ways and stepped outside. “I should find Lily-chan...” She told herself, strolling down the street and looking around as if her first mate would pop up out of hiding just like that. When this didn’t work, she instead decided to look at shops. There was no way she would go back to that horrible shop where they stole off pirates! Not only would she would be caught, she would have to know that she was in a shop where goods were stolen off good pirates.

It just wasn’t right.

Her attention was drawn to a loud bar with people flooding inside. “Hey! They’re giving away free booze!” A man yelled at the top of his voice, and like a bat out of hell she was pushing her way through to the front of the line. Everybody was too intoxicated with free alcohol to really care, cheering and throwing their mugs into the air. “Can I have a mug of sake?” Cassy asked the bartender excitedly, hardly able to contain her excitement. She soon had her requested sake, and she was singing along with the drunk men in a can-can line at the front.

“Row row, row your boat, gently down the streeeeam!” They chorused, swaying around and kicking up the occasional leg. “Merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream!” Cassy laughed afterwards, drinking her sake as if it were water. She wasn’t really thinking that all this ruckus would draw Marines towards them to break up bar fights (since these were inevitable), she just carried on as she was; enjoying herself. Besides, with this much noise and excitement, Lilith would probably come here looking for her.

After all... it wasn’t rocket science. Cassy was rather easy to read; a bit like an open book.

With her eyes clenched tight and body tensed up Lilith prepared herself as the weight of the shelf crashed down on her. The force of the impact was enough to knock her breath out and send pain racing through her veins, her vision blurred with tears as she felt her head slam against the stone floor. She didn’t even bother moving as she heard marines calling out to some of the shop workers to get the self-off of them. Those few moments where the pursuit stopped and the objective was to check and see if their comrades were safe effectively put a halt to the chase for enough time to get Cassy out of sight; and as her reward Lilith could feel the concussion throbbing inside of her head.

“What the hell was that? I almost died there, this is a marine store shouldn’t it be safe from pirates and faulty equipment?!” Lilith raged as the shelf was finally lifted off of her and she could sit up. Her hand rubbing the back of her neck as she felt the warm sticky blood slowly leaking out from the back of her head; Cassy would pay for this and that was guaranteed. However before that now she was stuck with getting out of this mess and still getting their supplies.

“S-sorry miss that’s never happened before… How about you take Anything below 1,000 beli on the house. What do you say?” A marine said as he knelt down to begin tending to her wound as another one got his broken leg straightened. The fact that they had just tried to bribe her to stay quiet instantly turned the light inside of her head. With a slight smile she held her head down as she let the man tend to her wounds.

After nearly half an hour of complaining, threatening, and dropping obvious hints at what she wanted Lilith finally walked out of the store triumphant, so far a deal had been struck on getting her a discount on a ship after bluffing her pretty little head off as she brought up big names her brother mentioned in a few letters. So with a name in her pocket, three stitches in her head, and a throbbing headache she set out to punish the captain who put her through so much to keep her out of jail. However it didn’t take her nearly as long as she expected all that she had to do was keep her ears open and the first bar she walked in front of had Cassy’s voice booming out of it in another of her attempts to sing. Her headache flared up to new levels as she prepared herself to go into such a noisey place and drag the woman baack to their room.

As she walked through the room her eyes kept glancing around until she saw her captian sitting, drinking, and singing along with the people around her. Without careiing about anything else she walked right up behind Cassy and raised her fist in anger; the next moment it had slammed down on the poor girl’s head hopefully hard enough to knock some sense into her. “What the hell did you think you were doing back there. You can not tell marines you are a pirate, You cannot just yell that stuff out in a place were we could very well have been killed in an instant. Three drunks in an alley isnt like a trained soldier Cassy, if I didn’t pull that shelf down ontop of us then you would have been caught.” Lilith said in a hushed tone, the anger clear in her voice as she gazed down with pained yet angry eyes. The noise from the bar was doing wonders for her headache, just not the wonders that were pleasant to deal with.

Yuri Peered over the edge of the rooftop watching as her stooge gathered the attention of the Marine girl in question and led her towards the alleyway. So far her plan has been going almost perfectly according to plan. In addition to gathering compromising evidence to slander the Marines and cause the distraction she needed for her main goal she was also gathering useful evidence to continually blackmail her new associate, that is of course if her plan to sacrifice him to the Marines to make her escape fails and shes forced to travel with him further. It never to have a back up plan, and a back up back up n as well. The delicious gullible marine girl was led into the blind alley and scanned the area for the perpetrator she was supposed to assist in apprehending. She crept close to the edge and waited till she was looking away before she descended upon her. Leaping over the edge the girl barely had time to notice the source of the whooshing sound before she landed on her. She angled her metal knee into the back of her head adding to the force of her drop. The poor ensign stood little chance from such an impacting sneak attack and was knocked unconscious quite easily. Though Yuri thought she head a crack an initial and very thorough investigation of her body revealed no broken bones that she could identify, just be be sure she gave a secondary even more thorough physical examination just to be sure.

"Good, i can safely say she is not dead or broken." she said to reassure her partner. Without a word or request of privacy she took off her dress and disrobed the unconscious girl without any indication of shame or reservation whatsoever. She promptly got dressed in the Marines uniform and turned to face her accomplice.

"How does it look, convincing yes? Now then same as before, this time do it with gusto! I'll take more pictures and once we're done we'll stash her body and begin phase two." she said as she tastefully arranged her body on a pile of garbage bags. The contrast before near naked beauty and revolting refuse was a sharp contrast that elected feelings of outrage and anger in people. Being an expert photographer she knew a thing or two about placement and how to elect desired feelings from those who viewed her photographs. She stepped back and arranged the shot on her end so that it looked like she was hiding and taking the pictures from behind several garbage cans. This additional placement would ensure that her shot appeared to be authentic as investigative photography. Giving him the ready signal she started the photography session.

- 30 minutes later -

After she got the necessary photos she picked up the girls limp body and set it down inside one of the garbage cans. She stacked several other cans nearby and put two cinder blocks on top of the lid to ensure she didn't get out and blow her cover until it was too late. she then piled garbage bags around and on top of it. There'd be plenty of air but it would be horribly cramped, dark, stuffy, and smelly. Yuri took a dark moment to chuckle at her handiwork. Her accomplice may deem it unnecessary but she would reassure him it was to camouflage the hiding space enough that it wouldn't be immediately discovered. She would also promise to send an anonymous tip as to the location of the missing girl before she left the island. Whether or he actually did this would depend largely on how benevolent she was feeling at the moment but so far her happy mood dictated the possibility was high. As they were starting to leave the alleyway she went over the next phase of her plan.

"Ok for this next part I will need you to start acting up in public. Act like a big, powerful and corrupt Marine. your uniform dictates a higher rank then mine, so you can freely give me "orders" that i will show to be hesitant about but forced to comply with given your higher rank. If we do this in public for awhile we can rouse the peoples anger a bit, then once my photos are done developing I'll change back into my regular clothes and submit them to the press so they can release a late edition, a scandal and corruption within Marine ranks will no doubt rouse the peoples ire even further. Once that is done we'll separate. As a Marine I'll stake out the warehouse and wait to hear from the disturbance. You'll go and create a big ruckus with the Marines. If you want you can dress in your normal clothes and angrily accuse and attack some random Marines while laying claim to the special edition papers being released later today. This will provide the spark that'll ignite the people into revolt. In the ensuing riot you can come back to find me at the warehouse district. I'll have hopefully successfully disable the defenses and guards inside and can let you in. Then we both make out with the goods while he Marine forces are split between trying to break up the riots and locating the source of the chaos. She detailed going over the list of their objectives. As she wrapped up her explanation they slipped into the crowd once again and looked around for the place to start a ruckus. There were a number of stores where they could demand free goods as part Marines protection of the people, or they could go directly to a bar and start a fight, there was one nearby that was full of rambunctious singing and drinking, causing a fight there could help soften up the rougher element of the city first so they jump into the fray faster.
