A man who had troubled the East Blue for years would face his day of reckoning on the same day he was born. Despite his treachery Norman D Grave was a silent man, who did more with his actions than he ever had with his words. This death though not significant outside of the East Blue was on the front page of its regional newspaper and was widely talked about among its various residents. The death in itself would be a brutal end for a brutal man whose crime sheet read longer than most novels. Despite the hard staking evidence that contrasted with the tales, rumors began to sprout of wrongful conviction of the man whose head would be severed on the gallows. It was one such rumor that fell upon the ears of a young boy with red hair while stood outside the local tavern of his hometown. A drunken man laid slumped down against its cold brick wall with a bottle of whiskey clenched tightly between his fingers. "The man is innoshent!" he shouted in a drunken stupor while preaching to the audience of one. Gou nodded his head slowly up and down to reassure the man that he was listening. He had heard quite a few rumors and was beginning to suspect that the man was a lot more than his rap sheet let on. The drunken man seemed aged, his wrinkles were deep and defined, and the sagging skin from his face made him seem nearly deformed. His beard was haggard and unkempt and his hair was almost entirely gone. He leaned to the left as his eyes closed and Gou’s emerald eyes lit up with fervor and he jumped on the man like a rabid dog to stray meat. “Are you okay?” he asked in the softest voice he could muster. The man’s eyes slowly drifted open and his grip clenched tighter around his bottle, “You can’t have my money, or my whiskey!” he shouted angrily. Gou was confused but held on tight to the decrepit old man. “Get off me!” the man shouted to attached to his bottle to struggle for fear of spillage. Gou shook the man believing it would calm the man down all while shouting “The man you were talking about his innocence!?” in his face. The old man stopped struggling and for a minute his glazed eyes showed cognition once more. “Right, the man up there in the gallows is not Norman D Graves, it’s his twin brother Burgun’D Graves.” Gou dropped the old man on the spot immediately forgetting his condition or his sentiment toward him. To him there were far more important things to do than save old people from alcoholism, there was a man who needed to be saved and he would have to wrong the rights that had taken place, or right the wrongs rather. Gou looked down toward the man who was now on his side cradling the bottle with his lips, “I’ll be back. To save you old man, don’t die yet.” He gave the man a nod of assurance that the perplexed drunk considered for all of two seconds before returning to his bottle. Gou was not dressed in the most inconspicuous attire. He was wearing the bear pelt that he had become quite attached to and decided to wear despite the high temperature and the sun beaming down directly on him. He slinked out from the alley that stood between the pub and a large apartment to the right of the formerly named Gol D Rogers Pub. The execution was supposed to take place today and the streets were of course crowded, executions on the gallows were seldom done and many people were gathering to the island just to see something that they probably wouldn’t for quite some time. Gou was even hotter due to the body heat of the people around him and it was causing him to sweat profusely. Even though he had run away from the man he actually had no idea where he was headed or for that matter when the execution would be taking place, but heroes never turned back unless they were going to save somebody with a bad limp and though the old man had bad breathe he was pretty sure he could walk at a pretty steady pace. Gou gritted his teeth and ran up the center of the streets toward the nearest map store. The place was empty and there didn’t seem to be anyone behind the counter, but the door was open so Gou pushed in without even a thought passing through his mind that perhaps the map man had gone to see the event for himself. Gou rushed to the desk looking at the many maps placed in barrels throughout the store with a few nautical maps hanging up on the walls of the establishment. “Hey! I need to find the twin of the guy who is going to die who isn’t really the guy who’s supposed to die!” she shouted as he slammed his hand against the small bell in the corner of the table. No one was showing up and he was getting anxious, the man could be dying right then and there and he couldn’t be there to save him. Gou’s head dropped down toward the center of the table and his eyes focused on a small piece of white paper that he hadn’t noticed before, it read “Not here , getting a good seat for the execution, that man robbed my store once before, maps are free today, Happy Dead Graves day.” Gou frowned at the man’s ignorance and slammed his hand against the bell in anger. He turned toward a barrel and snatched a map he wasn’t sure whether it was of the city or not but he would read it and it would take him to where he needed to go, it was a hero thing. Gou walked out of the room trying to make heads or tails of the map that looked more like a banana than a location. He looked down at the key, he could make out the word excretion site. Excited he misread it for execution site and began heading to the location of the X. It was on the upper right hand corner of the banana so he assumed that he would have to head right and north if was going to find the man “I’m coming to save you Mr.Burgun!” he shouted as he swung his hands frantically and rushed away from the large crowd of people in the opposite direction. |

In a house in the inner parts of Loguetown, near the marine base, Samantha sat on her bed, looking at the calender with a sigh as she put some finishing touches on her cyborg body, tightening screws and then spray-painting the chassis so it would look at least slightly human. This whole Norman D Graves thing was worrying... She knew that there were still those horrible, evil pirates that go around stealing, killing, even raping and such, but she also knew a good chunk of them were noble, kind, and free-spirited people, like the Gallant Agents of Madness she had met almost a year ago. The news reports were always talking about what a horrible person Norman was, and that he was a blight on society. But the news also said that about the Gallant Agents, which, from meeting them first hand, Samantha knew was a lie. Sam got up off of her bed, putting on a jacket along with her baggy, khaki jeans, and a black tank-top. It was hot as hell out, but her folks didn't exactly approve of her self-modifications, and didn't like to see her cyborg body unless they needed to. She walked downstairs, looking at all the awards and medals for service to the marines her parents did. And a big flag of the World Government with the kanji for Justice over it, hung over the fireplace. Her parents were true patriots, which was kind of annoying honestly. They always simply accepted what the government said, and obeyed their orders without a second thought unless they were something horribly immoral. Samantha stepped out of the front door and headed over to the execution ground, almost as soon as she stepped out though, some guy ran into her head first, running at full speed, knocking her down "GAH! What the hell man!? Watch where you're goin!" She said loudly, rubbing her head and groaning, seeming annoyed. She got a look at the guy now, he was wearing a weird, bear pelt type thing, and had crimson hair. Even though he was wearing this badass, nordic pelt thing, the guy was a scrawny, skinny little bitch, probably only a few years older than Sam. "Where's a weirdo like you headed off to so soon anyways" She said, glaring at him, somewhat annoyed. OOC: The person I ran into was Gou. Also, I'm a bit worried this isn't long enough. |

The small silent ship swaying side to side as the never tiring sea and warm breeze pushes it where ever they please. An immense amount of blue salt water surrounding the ship as if it was a small log in a pond. Of course the ship is kind of a log in itself anyways being made out of wood and what not. Slightly stronger wind forcing into the ship's sails every now accelerating the consistent speed. All of a sudden a giant gust of wind crashes into the craft knocking it a different direction almost tipping over into the water. Spinning the wooden steering wheel into another direction. The boat hastens into a region of unknown from the unexpected impact. Wind bashing into the sails causing it to ripple roughly as the trip went on. A shadow appearing in the direction of the quiet ship as it progresses closer. Approaching the shadow with each wave from the calm sea, it begins to form into land. Nearing even closer the darkness went away as the island with its trees and grass shape onto the island. Inside of the lone ship lies a sleeping man on the wooden floors. His baby-blue hair shaking around as the ship sways across the ocean. Groaning as he begins to open his eyes. Blurring as first then clearing up as let light shine through his eyes for once. Sitting up from his sleeping position with drool on the side of his cheek. Wiping it off onto his sleeve and standing up to stretch out his arms. Then turning his torso side to side as he walks over to his bed, picking up a hoodie and sliding it on over his head. The hoodie being of a pure dark red color. He yawns as he goes over towards the door turning the knob, as light begins to enter through the side cracks of the door. Pulling it towards him with light illuminating onto his body. "Ahh...a fresh new day at sea!" He shouted to himself while walking out onto the deck of the small ship. His room being in the middle of the ship. Turning his head around towards the direction the ship was going, Spying something interesting, very interesting. "No way~, It's the second coming of land." Steadily the ship beginning to hit the docks of the island. He jumping off the ship onto the dock just a moment before, stopping the ship with his hand and tying it to a post so it doesn't sail away without him. "Time to adventure this new place." Who is this guy? Well he is known as Neku Gelaro. Neku taking steps into the dock seeing several other people there such as marines, pirates, ...Er.. That seems to be a thief right there. A thief walking out a jewelry shop with necklaces and rings as a marine jumps him and beats the back of his head with his fist. Knocking the criminal unconscious as Neku just simply looks away from the gruesome scene and continues into towards the inner town. Noticing a giant sign above him reading 'Loguetown'. "Loguetown looking nice, First town name I've got my hands on now. I'll remember it surely. Walking past several shops for swords, grocery, and etc.... Neku sudden walking into a giant cross way with many tourists, bounty hunters and the likes. Coursing through the crowd with some effort made it to the other side as his eyes begin to widen as he saw many posters about some execution? "E-execution?... |

Rivers pored down biege hills each stream connecting into another. Small cavities were forming opening and closing rapidly. Nature was in shambles, or rather Gou's face. Sweat continued to roll down his body as he rushed toward the X on his map. Even though he lacked any ability to read the map accurately it was his belief he'd be fine, because the heroes always found a loophole. Gou sprinted through the streets making his way quite far from the large crowd of people anticipating the execution of a pirate and though it never dawned on him that he had not run into or even seen any people on the route he was traveling he feel strange. Gou's bear pelt swayed in the wind as he picked up momentum, he was not the fastest man in the blues or above average in anything for that matter, but he was holding his sprint rather well, at least until nowhere a bandit jumped out. Gou couldn't react fast enough, his super instincts weren't fast enough for this mysterious highwayman. Within seconds He found himself sprawled on the floor. Had the robber been waiting to ambush him, perhaps he knew that Gou was the only one with the super intent to save those who required to be saved. The only conclusions that Gou could come to was that this robber was a notorious villain hell bent on disturbing the peace and maintaining the facade that Burgun was his brother. It was Gou's duty as the wayward hero of the island to saved the stay stop the robbers and of course run away before anyone knew who it was. Gou had landed about a foot from the robber and tried to think of how to handle him, if he was as crafty as he imagined him, he also knew that he had powers and he probably had his only weakness, tofu, or sea water Gou could never remember which he couldn't handle sometimes. "GAH! What the hell man!? Watch where you're goin!" The voice of this manly crusader for evil was a bit to feminine for Gou, was it a woman, or was he just the worlds greatest shapeshifter.I've got your game evil, he thought silently to himself. He realized that while being bombarded with a barrage of his own thoughts he had forgotten to respond to the "lady." He picked himself up off the ground and turned around "Sorry MISS!?!?! No time I have to go ...not save Burgun'D Graves." Gou smirked, he was so crafty, the robber would never suspect anything and he wouldn't even have to face the horrid ball of tofu. Gou shivered at the thought of the fishy morsels slithering against his skin. It was like the ocean packed into one little ball of strange cuisine and he was determined to avoid it at all costs. Gou placed his hand against his chin as he realized that tofu wasn't fish at all, he had been thinking about sushi the whole time. The bandit must have been playing tricks with his mind while he contemplated, he paused as he realized all of his thoughts only served as a grander distraction from his previous mission, he was so busy wasting time that he wasn't getting to his destination. Once again evil was a chess playing mastermind that toyed with the boys intentions like a twisted puppet master, but no more. Gou decided that rushing to an alley to the left of him would throw the mind controlling Highway ma-woman for a loop and give him time to escape her evil clutches and questions. He charged away from the girl with his hands above his head shouting "Haha I am saving Burdun'D Graves! Justice will win!" |

Samantha raises an eyebrow. Who the hell was Burgun D. Graves? Did this weirdo mean Norman? Well whatever the case, the rest of the name was right, and the situation definitely fit. He probably meant Norman, or maybe something else might be going on related to him. That this guy, no matter how idiotic he may be, is trying to save Norman, then there's that much more reason to think that the marines wrongly labelled him as an evil, horrible person, simply because he was going about committing good acts that weren't in the name of the World Government. Samantha nodded a bit, putting her hand to her chin. It was still only a theory, but better than buying the garbage from the newspapers. Just as she was opening her mouth to speak again, the man ran off to the alley screaming "Haha I am saving Burdun'D Graves! Justice will win!", flailing his arms around like an idiot. The guy was dumb, maybe even crazy, but from what little Sam had seen, most of the good pirates were. Before he got too far, she reached out her right arm, making it fly off on a chain to try and grab the guy, hopefully getting his hand. (OOC: If you decide to "not" have me able to grab Gou's hand, just ignore the next paragraph) "Hey! Wait a second! What exactly are you going on about? Isn't the guy getting executed Norman D. Graves? Also, aren't pirates usually more about freedom as opposed to justice?" Sam said, still seeming confused. The whole thing about justice didn't quite seem right either. But there were all sorts of people out in the world. As Sam spoke, she would move forward, gradually letting the chain go back into her arm as she moved closer to where she was holding the guys hand. |

Gou had avoided the robotic midget assassin and was making his way to the X on the map without a cinch, but like most adventures cinches popped up and his merry way was once again restrained by the wayward cyborg. Even though he had thought he had gotten away he was caught by a hand that stretched out just like his did. For a moment he thought he had caught himself, but the woman's questioning had been enough to make him think otherwise. The girl was on to him, she knew everything about the beheading, she was definitely well informed, but Gou could only wonder where she got her sources from. Already in the young woman's grasp Gou did very little to get out of it, the last time he had struggled out of something he wound up being jailed and he didn't feel like going through that again while there were people to be saved. "Norman is Burgun, it's all a trick, don't pretend like you don't know ASSASSIN!" Gou shouted at the girl as she got within arms length of the boy. He wasn't sure how to get out of kung fu robot grip, but he was sure he could hero his way out of this with words. "I don't know about pirates, but justice and freedom are the same thing. Free to do justice! Now if you not an evil backwards robot sent from the future to destroy me than you have to let go so I can save this guy. You want to be a hero right? Come ooon everyone wants to be a hero." Gou had pulled out the best thing in his arsenal, the hero speech and if she didn't release him he was sure she had a heart of pure putrid stinky sweaty evil. Before the girl could reply Gou turned his attention elswhere almost completely forgetting that his arm was being held in the first place. In the distance he heard rambling, loud rambling, even shouting in the distance, it could have just been his own voice echoing from the buildings around him or the voices that echoed in his head from time to time, but he was to unsure to place it on either. Gou began to walk toward the sound while his arm stretched from where he once was. It dawned on him that the girl was still there and that his arm was still attached to her hand, he would have to fix the problem sooner or later, but for now he'd settle on telling the pirate ninja robot assassin from the future "Quiet down don't you hear me listening to the screaming in the distance!? Does your inner hero not yearn to help those in need!?" It was settled he would head wherever the screams took him. |

Samantha raises an eyebrow, the freedom to do justice... As for the whole Norman and Burgun thing, she supposed it was possible. I let him go, seeming irritated "I'm not an assassin! I'm just some girl you ran into! But... If what you're saying is true, then that means an innocent man is being executed down there." She says, pointing in the direction of the screaming and rambling crowds that he seemed to be listening to. By then, she saw that he had already walked away a few feet, and she looked down at her hand... This dudes arm just stretched... And he didn't even seem to notice... Her eyes widened a bit, but she quickly came to the understanding that it must have been a devil fruit. The guy didn't seem to notice what Sam had said either. The guy turned around to Sam again, after seeming to remember she was holding his arm. "Quiet down don't you hear me listening to the screaming in the distance!? Does your inner hero not yearn to help those in need!?" Samantha smiles a bit and lets go, crossing her arms casually "Of course I do. And if you're right about Norman actually being Burgun, then he needs our help to get out of there! There's no way I'm letting an innocent man die for crimes he never commited!" She said, grinning excitedly. A fire had been lit in her heart again, she could tell that another adventure was about to unfold, like it did with the Gallant Agents all those months ago. Samantha started running towards the screaming and bustling that was the crowd around the execution. "Come on! Follow me! Burgun is this way!!!" She says, sprinting forward, hoping that weirdo would follow her along. |

As expected Gou's hero speech had gone off without a hitch. The robot ninja assassin had revoked her evil ways and was already on the way to being a hero. Gou considered making her his sidekick, but he decided to reserve the position for now as wonderlad didn't seem swell on a female and would leave many questions to be answered to anyone who happened to keep up with the duo. Gou rushed after the girl as she led the way to the screaming that he had heard, but he wondered if she was still a double angent for the evil doctor evil, or even Evil itself. It would be safer for him if he kept at the girls side instead of blindly following, that way he could see what was up ahead and figure out if she was trying to foil him with some dastardly plot. The crowd in front was massive and the shouts sounded similar to the ones he had heard before, but he knew that it was not this group that he heard or else his hero sense would not have went off and his hero sense were never wrong. The red haired boy pushed through the crowd of people heckling a man that Gou could not see. Heckling was good for the spirit and helped build character and though he wanted to Gou was on to serious a mission to partake in the merriment or even look at who was being guffawed at. Gou noticed a large gallow standing in the center of the crowd and sighed, he was beginning to lose hope in finding the man he sought, there were probably plenty of gallows in Logue and this one was to crowded for him to figure out where the one he was searching for would be. He decided to follow in the footsteps of every super hero before him and never give up his will to do good. With his new resolve the boy decided to head to the top of the gallow to get a better look at the town and hopefully see the man he was looking for. It dawned on him that he had never really gotten a good look at any of the bounty pictures and just assumed that he would have a T-shirt or a sign on his back that had his name as all damsels or in this case princes usually had. "Hey Robot Ninja lass do you have any powers that would lead us to our destination. As though my mighty might is mighty, it is not near mighty enough to locate those who I have not seen. If not it's fine cause I got hero senses and that will totally lead us in the right direction." Once again Gou forgot his initial plan of climbing the gallows in search of the "criminal" and decided that he would follow his hero senses. They told him to go down, so he started to dig under his feet. |

Samantha sighed, doing a facepalm when the guy started to dig, but she got to thinking... He seemed to think he was in some superhero story... Which was actually pretty cool, but she could also put it to her advantage... "Hey! Hey! The villains are messing with your hero senses! Burgun isn't down there!" She says, and then points up towards the gallows "He's up there! This crowd is gathered around Burgun and think that he's Norman. We gotta use those stairs" Sam says, pointing towards a couple stairs guarded by marines "To go up to the top of the gallows to rescue Burgun. I think the villains are manipulating the Marines too and that's why they think Burgun is Norman!" Samantha finished her little briefing for her new friend, getting ready to charge the marines to go up the stairs, but she wanted to wait for the guy to charge first so she could go at about the same time as him. "By the way, the names Samantha, but just call me Sam. How bout you, hero?" I say, smiling a bit as I look at him out the corner of my eye. |

Looking at the poster he notices a face with the name "Norman D. Graves" under it. "Ahh..So this is the man getting executed? I've never seen an execution before. This Gelaro here is going to take a look at his first execution!" Neku jabbering to himself while staring at the poster. Turning his head side to side observing the area. "Wait..Which way is it...?" Neku stepping away from the poster and turning his head towards the directions again. "Man.. I gotta pick a way now too?" Closing his eyes he begins to spin around with the people around him looking awkwardly at him. As Neku stops in place he points his figure towards straight ahead leading to the west path. "I trust within you instincts, this better be right." He said as he walks off into the direction. Strolling along the west path, He quietly walks through it unsure whether or not he's going to get lost within Loguetown. Turning his head many times to the left and right checking out the shops and people along the street. Attempting to move faster as he goes into a speed walk along the streets coming to something odd. "What the hell?! Another cross?!" Neku shouted as he was at the start of another cross way with three paths. Walking into the cross way until he was in the middle, he ignores the other paths and goes straight for the right path. Taking yet another mysterious path, he notices it's pretty much the same just with different people and shops as he notices in the corner of his eye a knife shop. His eyes with full concentration on it, suddenly he rushes into it without a second thought. Reaching the door as he walks into the quiet shop with knives all over the place. The walls, the counter, the shop name is even shaped with knives. "Beautiful.. Absolutely gorgeous..!" He said to himself as he shed tears. Running to one counter to look at the greatly carved knifes that shine like gold plates. Then running to another one and sticking his face towards the glass, admiring every inch of the knife. As he turns around to notice a stand with just one knife in there. Walking closer to get a better look, he notices it's one of the legendary knives carved by Sugiru. "It must be diamond.. it shines so brightly..." All of a sudden a voice reaches Neku's ears. "Aye...Everyone who sees it think the same, but diamond in the blues? Complete nonsense. Instead it's made of normal steel. Absolutely normal steel, you see. The shine comes from a type of water that has the ability to wash away all types of unnecessarily left over on the blade. As well as being able to strengthen anything that is purified within the water and deliver a shine comparable to no other.. The type of water is unknown but it rumored to be the waters of All Blue," Neku's eyes widen at the sound of the name. "All Blue? What is that? An island? A river?" Neku questioning the Shop owner. "Ho ..ho... Slow down boy, All Blue is only a mere myth.. a legend of the sea. It is not real. The rumor of All Blue is that it is to be the only place in the world where the North, South, East, and West seas all meet. In this legendary ocean, it is said that there are fish from each of the four seas, and to have such a resource at one's disposal is the ultimate dream of every chef." The old shop owner replying to the anxious Neku Gelaro. "Though they do say All Blue is within the Grand Line, it's still just a myth." Neku staring at the shop owner with a confused face. "Grand Line? How come I have never heard of any of these..? Neku questioned himself. "The Grand Line is a line that crosses the entire world and back around that bares dangers beyond normal. If you were to ever embark into there you must be insane!" Neku grinning to himself as he turns back to the shop owner. "Do you have a map I can have?" Neku asked impatiently as the shop owner gave him a old map that when the map is opened, it shows the East Blue. "Sorry but this is the best I have." The old man replied in a scruffy voice to Neku. Neku taking a view at the door. "Thank you anyways, I'll be on my way!" As he bolted out the door into the streets again wandering back onto his path to the execution. Neku quickly walking along the path straight as a giant crowd of people begin to appear in front of him. Noticing many shouting the name of the person being executed as well as people stirring up a fight about whether or not he should be executed. As Neku looked up forward he saw an execution stand where Norman D. Graves was going to be. |

Key Gou stood hunched in the center of the crowd as he banged his hands against the ground in a effort to dig through cobblestone. He trusted his hero senses, but there were always cases where they would occasionally be tampered with. He took these times into account as he picked himself up from the ground and smiled at the young girl. Though she wasn't exactly a hero in his eyes she was savvy and that was a plus. He decided to place a check next to her name on the list of potential sidekicks that he kept in his head. Gou nodded his head approvingly before her turned toward the front of the crowd. There was still four rows of people he would have to weed through and he was only wasting time looking for a man who (thanks to his hero senses) he predicted was hidden in a hidden bunker beneath the streets. He pushed through the crowd stumbling through a mass of both portly and thin citizens while shouting "Official hero business!" as if it had significance. When he got to the front of the crowd Gou spotted five of the sixteen marines that were making the barricade that stopped the onlooking pedestrians from doing much more than looking. Gou's eyes focused on the two men who stood a meter apart from one another with their rifles crossed. What he failed to notice were the two large marines who were standing right in front of him. He stepped in between them into the escort line that the body of marines had made and was quickly grabbed by the larger of the two. "Hey kid get back behind us, we all don't like em, but he's getting enough as it is being shot execution style." Gou raised his brow at such a comment, it was confusing to him, the marines were supposed to be in the know and it was obvious to him that this man knew nothing. "Burgun deserves no such thing!" Gou shouted as he shoved his fist into the air for no particular reason. The marine sighed and pulled him back into the crowd. Though his back was turned her continued to talk "Who's Burgun, that there is Norman'D Graves." the man said as he pointed toward the man being escorted between them. While the marine was busy talking Gou was making his way toward the gallows themselves. "Free Burgun!" he shouted as he sprinted into the crossed fist of the marines. guarding the staircase. He fell on his back with two rifles pointed at him on impact, "Put him in holding until this thing is over with." The Captain who was overseeing the operation said from behind group of marines escorting Norman through the human barricade. Edited by Clarity, Sep 29 2011, 03:21 PM.

Key Samantha came forward with the less than intelligent "hero" standing back while he tried to get through. She didn't want to get too involved unless she had to. However when Gou got knocked down, rifles aimed at his chest. Sam pounced forward, jumping into the air, and slamming her boots down on the backs of the two marines pinning down Gou, the spikes on the bottom of her boots out so that she added some pain and punctures to the stomp. "Gou! The marines have been manipulated too! They don't know that it's Burgun up there instead of Norman! We gotta go get him free even if the marines stand in our way! We'll be able to explain things to 'em later!" She said, before jumping off the marines who were hopefully hit hard enough that they were at least stunned. Samantha rushes up the stairs, hopefully alongside Gou, pushing a couple marines out of the way who were escorting Burgun from behind. (The formation was 2 marines behind burgun, 2 more at his sides, and 2 more in front with the captain already on top of the gallows) And then as one of the marines began to turn around and draw his blade, Sam leapt forward and elbowed him in the stomach hard. "Hey! You're Burgun D. Graves right!? I'm here to get you out of here!" |

Marine Stats Gou's eyes went wide as the girl shot down from the heavens to tear the backs of the possessed marines who were to tainted by evil to see the hero standing in front of them. The rifles that were pointed at the boy went up and as the men holding them fell down on him. "Be sure to apologize!" he shouted as he scooted between them. The marines escorting the prisoner were already halfway up the staircase and The captain was in back of the four men assembled in a diamond around the alleged Pirate. Gou swung his arms around to send a hook toward the captain's cheek. The man looked at the fist as if it was that of a four year old child's and he was a dinosaur. He stepped back and avoided it all the same. The captain was a thin man with the stature of a man who was proud of who he was. He was a man with dark skin who stood at roughly six feet and three inches. He was a somewhat well kept man. Though he wore a unbuttoned marine top, there was a stark contrast of a bright yellow shirt beneath it. His hair was a dark and had grown out by about three inches. His beard was shaggy and slightly trimmed. Gou didn't have time to notice of these features, as the only thing he noticed. Was the giant javelin slamming against his body. The captain turned around after stepping back to completely avoid Gou's punch and sent the large weapon that had been holstered to his waist slamming down on the boy. As he send his javelin with a vicious swing he let out "Ban- tsk... Hammer!" as if struggling to say the words. Gou's eyes opened wide as the instrument of punishment slammed down against his face. He was not expecting a rebuttal nor did he expect for his body to somersault down the stairs, but both occurred. The captain glared at the boy as he went rolling down the stair with a gaze so piercing it could rend the soul from a man just by staring. Gou landed on his back and reminisced about the things that had just taken place. "Carry on with the execution, I'll handle these kids." The only thing Gou could see were the feet of the Captain coming closer to him. The obstacle only obstacle between him and the safety of Burgun was a man with a hammer and he was going to get through it. Gou lifted himself off the ground just in time for the man to send jam his foot in it. "Move and I'll personally kill you kid." the man's voice was able to send a chill down through Gou's very spine and for the first time since his arrival on the island he had contemplated running. "Never Surrender!" Gou shouted as he pushed forward and let his body bend under the pressure of the man's foot. He was sure he was outclassed, but he was a hero and a hero could not back down from saving those in need, even possessed marine captains. The captain was surprised, but he didn't show it, he turned around and shot his hand toward the back of the boys head, which only sent him forward. Gou used the momentum from the punch to roll back up to the staircase. He rushed toward the top of and sent his hand up toward the man who stood between three marines with his back exposed. Meanwhile The marines who had been stabbed in the back screamed in agony. Most men were opposed to killing or even harming children, but when you have metal spikes stabbed into your back your perspective tends to change. As the men fell to the ground one of the men tried to spin out of the boots grasp while sending the butt of his rifle toward Samantha's ribcage. The other clawed for the ground and lifted up to send the blow toward the girl's kneecaps. The row of marines in front of the two guarding the steps pointed their rifles toward The girl, "Permission to fire sir?", one of the marines beneath her feet gritted his teeth and shouted "Just fucking shoot her!" the men were trained to listen to orders and though it looked painful they would not waste their ammunition on a child, at least without being instructed to. The captain turned around and nodded his head,"If you can shoot her down without getting civilians shot in the crossfire then by all means." a few men nodded and lined up their sites while the others clenched their rifles to their chest in anticipation. Three marines let off a volley toward the girls chest while another aimed for her kneecap. |

Samantha raises her arms up to cover her head, the only non-augmented part of her body. The bullets scream through the air towards her, pinging off of Sam's iron body. They all left dents for sure, and if one of them shot the exact spot they did before, it'd probably break through the chassis. As for now though, Same was fine. After the volley, she leapt forward, decking one of the marines in the face, knocking out a few teeth and breaking his nose, before spinning around and backhanding a second marine. Sam could practically feel the man's skull cracking from the blow as he was knocked back. Sam looks up towards Gou and Burgun and yells out to them "Gou! Hurry! You gotta get Burgun out of here! We can explain things to the marines afterwards!!!" the young tomboy shouted, before one of the marines swung a blade at her, but only to scratch her body, making Samantha look back at him and grin. "W-What... What the hell are you!?" He screamed out, backing away with his sword embedded in Sams arm, which she took by the hilt, pointing it at the marine and grinning sadistically. "I'm the mechanical queen! The one you jackasses rejected! And now the one who'll free Burgun from you bastards!" She said, a confident grin on her face as she spoke. The marine raises an eyebrow at me, not sure if he understood clearly. "B-Burgun? The Mechanical queen? Are you insane!?" |

Three marines turned around to see a boy with emerald eyes between them with his mouth opened wide in a giant smile. One of the men mumbled "Kill him" and the others quickly obliged. They lowered their rifles and fired at point blank range. The bullets dug into the boy's body for all of a second, and in that time he seemed unmoved, but after the second had passed three round bullets bounced back into the bodies of the men who had fired them. "Sorry! If I was a doctor I'd help but I can't cause I'm not!" the boy muttered in a frenzy of rapidly slurring words. Gou looked at the four men in front of him and did his best to determine who Burgun was. They all looked so similar, except the man in handcuffs who was blindfolded and gagged. He reached for the marine on the far right and tucked him under his arm, "Let go of me you bastard!" the man shouted as he pulled out a hunting knife and pierced the child's skin. Gou dropped the man and clasped to his side in pain, "Burgun that is no way to treat heroes who are nice enough to save you." Gou looked down at the man and frowned, he was obviously not worth saving and he had wasted his time even caring about the matter. "I'm Burgun." whispered the man in the blindfold. Gou's eyes stretched wide with astonishment, the man was obviously a master spy, so exemplary at his trade that not even Gou's unwavering perception was able to pick him up amongst the four replicas he had chosen to assimilate himself with. Whether the marines were incapacitated or dead Gou couldn't tell, he was not a doctor and as far as he was concerned being a doctor was not in the job description of a successful hero. He would have to face the consequences of his actions later, but for now he would have to deal with the situation at hand, and that was freeing the slaves, or Burgun rather. Gou grabbed for the man in handcuffs and grabbed the links of his chain. "Are you Cushy!?" he shouted as he tugged the man by the handcuffs into his body. Gou could see the captain who had decided to walk up the stairs while swinging his hammer as if it were a pair of nunchucku. Gou took the man and slid in between the man's back and his handcuffs. He turned around and took a deep breathe so intense that his body swelled into the shape of a ball. The man gritted his teeth as the cuffs pushed against his skin and began pulled at his clenched fist. Gou shouted "HUMAN SHIELD!" letting a large burst of air send him flying and the marines on the staircase rolling further up it. Gou was sure that the captain wouldn't hit an innocent man, so he decided to use it to his advantage. As he went flying towards the man, the captain jumped from the side of the staircase and held on to the ledge as the two went careening down the stiarcase. "WOO! COMING THROUGH!" Gou shouted as the man behind him stared at his blindfold with a smirk on his face. The marines were having a dilema, they hadn't faced cyborgs, nor had they gained the experience to know how to handle them. They were not hurting this kid with bullets or knives, and her self proclaimed title of the Mechanical Queen led a few of them to question her bounty. A marine ran in from the side to send the butt of his gun toward the girls head. Gou and Burgundy shot down from the stairs as if propelled by a stick of dynamite. Burgun's body slammed against Sam and the contact was enough to stop the momentum. Gou found himself back to back with the captive between the handcuffs and the man's arms.
