"Alright set sail my prisoners!" Leander yelled merrily to the marines who were forced to work under him for the meantime, as the last of his crewmates reached the ship. "Make it fast as every minute we're here someone loses a apendage." He could see the captain rushing forward toward them as they began to sail off, it didn't seem that the guy would have any chance of reaching them at all the ocean would stop him for good. Walking over to the railings he propped one leg up along the edge throwing out his arm in farewell to all the marines they'd left behind on the island, especially Captain Duke. "Gentleman you will always remember this as the day you almost caught Captain Leader Has-" Leander was instantly cut off as suddenly his eyes could make out a thin object hurtling toward him fast his head tilting to the side to narrowly dodge it quickly though it still cut the side of his cheek "Oh shit! Nevermind!" He retorted quickly hiding back onto the center of the deck where he'd be less easy a target to hit. "That's plagarism you bastard!" Duke yelled as he had hurled the spear ahead with all his force generating a thrust which knew no equal piercing even thick armor. Leander was getting away quickly though and Duke knew he had to do something. Leander on the meanwhile was safely feeling very secure on the ship and the wide view of blue water that separated the two men. Of course there was no way Duke could reach them. Suddenly though he realized something very important and huge detail. Duke hadn't appeared to be a devil fruit user, or else he wouldn't have been using seastone that much. Oh shit... he can swim. Rushing around the deck frantically Leander began to wave his arms in panic pointing out to the deep ocean, hoping to god they could evade Duke. "Faster! Faster! Faster!" He yelled out to the crew before running past Rel and Sawyer, instantly calming down for a moment. "I'll treat the two of you soon just for now we need to..." Suddenly Leander looked out to the beach to not see Duke there anymore. Oh god he must be swimming to them was Leander's first thought. but wait looking down he didn't see Duke in the water. What could have happened. "Die!" The sound of a loud and annoying voice barely more then a growl answered his question to look upward. How could he have forgotten that Duke somehow had the ability to walk on air. Around the ship the captured marines cheered for they beleived their savior captain had arrived from the sky to save them. Leander had had enough of this though, the time to end this now and fight back had arrived. "WHY. ARE. YOU. SO. ANAL!!!!?" Leander yelled as his feet burst into smoke propelling him upward at a incredible speed while Duke shot down quickly toward him pushing himself off of the air. Leander drew his right arm back hand clenched into a fist tightly as both yelled our a battle roar, Duke's sword drawn back overhead and ready to slice through Leander should the two get close enough. Leander wouldn't let that happen though as he thrusted his arm out in a strong punch as suddenly his entire arm burst into a large, powerful column of dense smoke which struck with his full force over Duke's upper body knocking him far back sending him flying off back to the island where he collided with the sand skidding across the ground leaving a huge crater trail behind him. This was much more than any normal hit this was a special attack he had learned called the white blow, one of the legendary Smoker's attacks. The man who had used the moku moku no mi before him, ironic that he had been a marine. Now that the battle was over finally. He hoped. Leander gently hovered down to the ship his smokey lower body keeping him aflight. Dropping down to his feet he walked over to his crew who were both much more badly injured than him. It was odd he fought the strongest opponents but more often than not was the least injured. It probably had to due with him being a logia but it still gave him a guilty feeling. He wished he could feel the same pain and danger the others did all the time, it was true that he acted brash and cocky in situations that put the crew in danger quite often. Clapping Rel gently on the back, trying not to upset any injuries he laughed merrily. "So kid welcome to a normal day in the Black Rose Revolutionaries." Looking around he now noticed he was the center of attention to the marines who had stopped doing anything at all. Angrily he called out to them, "Hey get back to work all of you! I don't pay you to do stand around doing nothing!" One brave marine squeaked up in protest, "But you don't pay us." Leander chuckled at that into his hand, never let it be said he didn't have a sense of humor, "Yes. Yes. I don't let you live to stand around doing nothing." |

It wouldn't have surprised Rel that Duke had caught up with them if it weren't for the fact that he had just stabbed the Captain's foot with a sword only moments earlier. The guy had continued on in pursuit, acting as if it were nothing. Hastings took care of the problem though, by sending Duke through the air with a column of smoke. It seemed as if their troubles were pretty much over for now, which made Rel chuckle. "A normal day? I'd hate to see what a hectic day looks like." Rel still resented his 'captain' for the things he had done on Cactus Island, but he saw no point in spoiling the good mood right now. Not only did they get away, but they were getting away on a ship that had a mast. If the three of them tried to sail off on their old ship, the one without a mast, it probably would have taken much longer. Probably. Bored, Rel took out a mirror hidden in his jacket and began to inspect his face. "That cave-bastard didn't just pound my gut, but he messed up my damn hair!" He hadn't noticed the stands of hair covering his forehead until seeing his reflection. Usually, it was only about four strands that fell in front of his handsome face, but now there were about nine! It was an outrage, and Rel wouldn't be having any of it. "I think we're safe for now, so I'm gonna wash off. I never want to see another dinosaur or caveman again..." The snowboarding T-Rex he met when getting his fruit, the cave-idiot that took so much effort to kill, Rel just wished he could forget about the entire island. Then again, he did get his devil fruit on that island, so that was a plus. Rel let out a frustrated sigh, looking to Hastings before glaring at one of the Marines on board as well. "Treat me whenever you've got time. For now, I've got pressing matters to attend to. Where's the restroom? You've got one of those on this sailing piece of junk, right?" The ship was quite the nice vessel to be honest, but the Marine flag flying above them made the entire thing 'junk' in his mind. It was hard for him to even stay on the ship without feeling like a lowlife government dog. The soldier nervously nodded, quickly pointing to a door a couple feet away that led into the ship. "Tch." Rel couldn't even bring himself to say 'thanks' to the likes of a Marine. Perhaps not all Marines were bad, but anyone associated with the World Government was garbage in his opinion. The inventor gave a passive wave to his two new comrades, off to find the restroom. It didn't take long, and in no time Rel was in front of a mirror and inspecting his filthy clothes. "Little Garden was definitely lacking in the department of women... There was that one cute maid, but she was from that fucked up icy hotel or whatever the hell it was called. There's bound to be beautiful ladies on the next island to make up for this disgrace of a landmass, so I've gotta look my best~ As usual, of course." His logic wasn't exactly true, although that didn't matter much. If there is even one young damsel needing a badass to come to the rescue, I will answer the call~! There were many more important issues Rel could have been considering, but that's how he deals with stress: women and narcissism. Planning their next plan of action would be a much more productive thing to do, except Rel had dealt with so much shit in one day, he preferred to simply daydream for now. |

Sawyer’s sluggish eyes slowly opened, letting the sunshine pour into his vision. The birdman hadn’t even realized that he had dozed off after he lied down. Nonetheless, he enjoyed the brief break. Rest seemed to be a scarce thing now a days for the young chef, and he made sure to enjoy every second of it that he was blessed enough to receive. Looking up, Sawyer tried to judge the time based off the of suns position. Unfortunately, the chef was a little too thick skulled to perform a calculation like that. On the other hand, he did manage to spot a large fluffy cloud that had the appearance similar to a gold fish. “Gold fish are the best.” Sawyer said giddily as he started to slowly pick himself up. The chill feeling of liquid blood on Sawyers back told him that he must have only been asleep for a few minutes. If it had been any longer, the wound would’ve at least dried up a bit. Yet as the birdman rubbed his tired eyes open, a pool of blood was the first thing he saw. At first the dimwit thought the blood had come from his shoulder, but that couldn’t have been it. This amount of blood was way too much to have simply come from the gash on his back. Sawyer then realized that someone must had been killed, and recently. And the scary part of it was that Leander and Rel were nowhere in sight. Looking for his lost crewmates, Sawyer began to spin around to look in every direction. But as he did, Sawyer was met face to face with a random marine soldier. “YOU KILLED LEANDER DIDN’T YOU!?” Sawyer yelled out on a completely impulsive assumption. Wasting no time, Sawyer head butted the marine, send him staggering back until he flipped over the railing of the ship, down into the sea. “THAT’S RIGHT YOU MARINE PIECE OF…” Sawyers voice trailed off as he suddenly heard a familiar voice. Quickly spinning, Sawyer was suddenly surprised with the sight of Rel talking to Leander about women on the island. “So wait, what happened?” Sawyer said to himself. Looking at all the details in the area, Sawyer slowly started to put the piece together. ‘So as I slept, Leander and Rel showed up, killed a man causing the pool of blood, then took over a marine vessel along with all of its crew… Sounds reasonable’ Sawyer thought to himself. Walking towards the end of the ship, Sawyer leaned on the railing and watched the marine soldier he head butted struggle trying to keep afloat in the water. “My bad.” Sawyer called out to the man with a small wave. Looking around, Sawyer was surprised to find that they hadn’t even left Little Garden yet. In fact, he found that they were just now rounding the edge of the island. As the ship moved through the water, Sawyer could see their old vessel coming closer and closer. Within a few minutes, they were passing their docked ship. “Good Bye ship. Wish you the best.” The dimwit said as the ships began passing by just a few feet apart. But then suddenly, Sawyer remembered something. Quick as a cheetah, he leaped from the marine ship onto their old one. Dashing across the deck, down the stairs and into one of the small corridors, Sawyer found the important thing that they had forgotten; Maya. At first, Sawyer attempted to pick up the girl who was lost in a coma, but the pain coming from his shoulder was just too intense. With no other choice, Sawyer used his good arm to grab a hold of Maya’s wrist. Racing to catch up with the marine ship, the birdman dragged Maya’s limp body throughout the entire ship. Then making a quick leap, he managed to get both himself and Maya back on the moving marine ship just in time. “Leander. Be more careful about where you leave your stuff.” Sawyer said as he dragged Maya’s body to Leander’s feet. “I just hope people in coma’s don’t feel pain…” He then added as he looked down at Maya’s scrapped and mangled body. Ignoring the woman that he had just violently dragged, Sawyer just looked ahead towards the horizon. It seemed as if it had been years since he had last sailed. Putting the loss of friends and the hardships that occurred on Little Garden behind him, Sawyer couldn’t wait for the adventures that would occur on the next island they reached.
