Character Template [-----] Account Name: Strider Xan Basic Character Information Name: Havoc Osaka Nickname: "C. M." Havoc Age: 21 Gender: Male Race: Half-Bilkan, Half-Human Affiliation: Pirate Bounty: 32,500,000 beli Achievements: Profession: Conman The Conman is a counterpart to the thief. They both excel in the general art of stealing, though a Thief gains specialises in stealth capabilities whereas a conman specialises in deception and slight-of-hand. Like a thief, a conman knows the rules of barter and trade quite well. Conmen don't find it hard to find 'underground info' in most cities, either. Conmen may once per thread start with an SD alias. Any SD appropriate decisions are made using the Alias SD not the user's and are not automatically re-evaluated retroactively. The Str, Spd, Sta and Acc of the alias can never be more than the respective stats of the user. In order to maintain the charade users must stick with the alias until the post count of the SL is equal to or greater than the fortune difference of user and alias. Should the user ever breakout of their alias prematurely, this bonus is permanently voided. Weapon Specialist A much more general fighter-type profession, a Weapon Specialist is someone who has to a large or small degree devoted his/her life to the mastery of a single weapon or weapon type, such as Swords, Axes or Whips. This profession applies generally to melee weapons. Position: Saboteur Physical Appearance Height: 6'00'' Weight: 190 lbs Hair: Havoc's hair is jet black short and spiky, pointing up and towards the back of his head. Eyes: Havoc's eye colour is brown and his natural gaze is naturally furrowing brow like that of a maleficent beast. Clothing/Accessories: Havoc's costume changes with alias, usually reflecting some stereotypical fashion sense attributive to that mould, however when dressed for battle or for less subtle affairs, Havoc wears a custom M11 Tactical Uniform System, a military combat suit. As the name indicates, the M11 TUNIS is a system, comprised of several individual pieces of equipment coming together on the wearer's body to provide adequate protection, comfort and functionality. The M11 TUNIS is comprised of six individual pieces. Overall Havoc uniform has alternating shades of denim-blue and black. Instead of a Helmet, Havoc wears a diagonally folded bandana across his crown. While the actual material is silk, the bandanna has a denimeblue background with a embossed red "X" on top. Havoc folds the bandana so that the intersection of the X is seen when worn and it is positioned on the corner of his forehead. The Jacket is meant to provide full-length protection to the torso and arms. The M11 jacket is equipped with several reinforced pockets across the torso and one on the upper right sleeve below the insignia field. It has shoulder straps with velcro allow rank and division insignia to be attached with minimal effort and clip-on equipment to be mounted on the uniform itself. It has a full-length reinforced zipper down the front with similar zippers are located on the inside of the wrist area to allow enhanced venting. Due to the padded nature of the jacket there are shoulder and elbow pads woven in to provide comfort when in use. The Jacket has slits in the back allowing Havoc’s wings to be thread through. The trousers provide full-length protection to the lower body and groin. The M11 trouser is outfitted with several reinforced pockets, including two rear pockets, two thigh pockets and two side pockets. These pockets are zippered to protect the contents of the pockets from falling out during strenuous use. A waterproof zipper is located at the front of the pants to secure them to the user. The trousers are also permanently outfitted with black elastic suspenders that secure them to the M11 Service Jacket. Integral padding at the knee and seat of the pants provide the wearer comfort when in use. Outer ankle-area zippers allow the pants to fit over the M11 Combat Boot. The M11 Combat Boots are design for comfort and traction. The boots are mid-shin high and fastened via six ratcheted straps and a 1.2 meter lace. The toes of the boot are protected with steel to prevent damage if a heavy object is dropped on it. The fourth piece of the Tunis is the Tactical Combat Web System. The webbing is a comprisal of over-the-shoulder and around-the-waist straps that connect over the M11 Service Jacket. These straps can accommodate the vast majority of equipment and tools via strap fasteners and keepers. The around-the-waist strap acts as a belt and can accommodate just as many pieces of equipment as the shoulder rig. The shoulder rig is hung off Havoc’s right shoulder. Instead of a Helmet, Havoc carries a round, discoid Olympian shield on the stretched of his back. Underneath Havoc’s TUNIS he wears a moisture-wicking tee shirt bearing a the initials “C. M. H.” And his current crew insignia. On his fingers are a standardized set of fingerless gloves issued along with the TUNIS. He has a pair of coal-coloured sheaths hanging of his waist-rig at either side of his hips which hold his traditional katana. The three piece dagger set hangs off the shoulder-rig, his two piece dagger set are sheathed horizontally at the back of his waist rig and his stiletto dagger is concealed at the back of his left boot. The rest of his equipment is strapped to the back of Havoc’s shoulder rig under the cover of his shield. The shield conceals not just the bulk of his weaponry but also his feathery Bilkan heritage. General Appearance: Havoc has a modest figure. He keeps himself in shape, but is by no means a body builder, and his physique can be easily hidden under moderate clothing. Havoc has a tanned hue, the likes traditionally connected to the Apache, and has a mild jagged cross-scar on his forehead that gets fainter with each passing day. The upper points of the scar disappear into his hair and the lower points stop either side of his nose. Due to his Bilkan heritage, he has downward-facing wings too small for him to use for flight. Spoiler: click to toggle The Character Personality: As for what Havoc will show to others, Havoc's put-on persona changes with the alias or lie he wishes to present to his current company, expand on some provocative or persuading tendencies and habits to embed that link between him and that persona in another's mind. Truthfully, Havoc holds a very cynical belief system. In the ways of the world, specifically it's more horrid and shady schematics Havoc demonstrates a depth of understanding beyond his age. Havoc has grown favourably through his lost childhood innocence. He tends to from experience rather than age, which leads to sounding like a man much older than he actually is. He doesn't tend to smile all too much and doesn't merit the romance or passion in ultimate goals. He is very intuitive and knowledge in the oft-forgotten realms of piracy, those not grounded in straight hand to hand battles because he deploys them much more regularly than the average criminal. Havoc is completely alien to the idea of a conscience, only choosing to abstain from certain deeds simply because he doesn't feel like doing it. He has a great issue with boundaries, and sees any issue expressible forbidding him from doing something as a challenge. Havoc constantly makes up claims, tails and even personality traits as and when they become useful for him to do so and is adept enough at his conniving craft to make fooling his own allies a possible benefit. As such remedial things such as favourite colour, pastime or personal hobbies rarely have a real answer. Havoc doesn't actually wish for wealth, fame or power and only as a child was he intrigued by the mysteries of the Grandline. He wants to be among those who claim to be puppeteers, criminal geniuses – the biggest bullies the world has to offer, and strip them demoralising of their titles. In his day and age the people call the bullies by the name of pirate and all the pirates flock towards the Grandline. If life were simply and unfair and biased game, Havoc wants to abuse it so badly that everyone to change the rules to make it fair in fear of what he can and will do, but he’ll mask this in the pretence that he is objectively taking from the world in his prime for that which he was denied in his youth, giving the impression that he might have is full and naturally decide to stop and let others be. Havoc speaks through gangster terminology fundamentally. He will use phrase from all ages of organised crime. He also makes respect the most important thing when he’s talking to others. He will not accept a conversation with those he does not deem worthy of speaking to him not matter who they are or what the conversation is about. It has made him seem bigoted, snooty and misogynistic. Havoc doesn’t trust people either. He trusts behaviour and patterns. He profiles people mentally and gets figures out their quirks rather than openly asking them If he cannot pin point a single black feature or dark speck in someone’s personality – something that in the right circumstance would see them turn on him Havoc believes he is simply dealing with a fellow con-artist. . Havoc cannot stay too long in the company of those who show him no ill intent whatsoever. Friendship is a bad term to use around Havoc since it does nothing for him. In fact Havoc never considers he has any even if others do. Havoc is more than able to disassociate responsibility with people who are nice to him. Havoc will never be indebted to anyone and will never seek to payback someone just because they were dumb enough to do him a favour. He is known even by bounty record to leave as soon as some better company comes along. To Havoc no one and nothing is beyond expenditure, and on the other hand nothing is beyond being used. Coupled with his tendency to keep his thoughts on a need-to-know basis, Havoc can completely confuse people by ditching them at the pinnacle of a good run or finding them at the lowest point of a bad one. Havoc's most notable past time is women, but not in the obvious sense. Havoc's type are those who aren't single, and he preys on them not for the company nor for the sex but solely for the self gratification of knowing he can take them as he pleases. Before embarking on a new journey across the seas, Havoc will undoubtedly stir the waters with at least one such woman irrespective of whom her other half may be. In fact, the more important the better. Vengeance took hold of Havoc from a very young age and welled up inside of him flourishingly. He cannot accept commensurate measures for anything. No matter the circumstance Havoc will respond to any ill will with a much more excessive reply, even if he provoked them in the first place. He will attempt to shadow the initial action with his reaction so that his victim recognises the consequences were well and truly beyond the risks they initially believed they were taking. However, Havoc’s skills with his tongue, body and mind come from his dedication to Buddhist principles. Outside of his criminal talents he does follow these teachings. More and more he needs to psyche himself up to the wrath he wishes to ensue as the closer he reaches to enlightenment, the closer he gets to inner peace. Hometown: Shelltown, East Blue History: Havoc grew up as a winged mutant with an absent pirate for a father on one of the East Blue's most prominent marine bases. On Shelltown, priority and opportunity was always first handed down to the marines. His mother, a doctor for the HQ, while not being a major advocate for the cause of Justice lended herself to them as they simply paid her more than being a free agent for private hire. Havoc was also thrust into the corporate system by being a marine cadet. As an angry child with no one to turn to for proper guidance and correction, Havoc began lashing out immaturely in school. He ganged up with the other problem children, seperating himself from the mainstream, but then seperated himself from those so-called rebels when their level of rebellion didn't satiate his desire to lash out. Before long Havoc delved into minor criminal activity and deferred from the marines while he was still a nameless cadet. All this time Havoc needed to hide his wings, never letting anyone get close enough to touch his back and never wearing anything that might be too revealing. When he matured enough to figure out why, the tender age of twelve it coincided with the time he was finally told why he grew up without a father. The truth didn't make him sad or even feel sorry for himself as it did for so many children who grew up under the shadow of pirateous parents. It made him angry. He would have to grow up with the stigma of being a freak and with people automatically thinking he was unscoupulous and evil if either secret ever got out. And he had done nothing to anyone. Yet From twelve years old onwards, Havoc nutured his anger, picking out targets, individuals and groups responsible for each and every hardship he had to face because of their opinion or rationale. Furthermore he grew to accept and embrace that the world was not interested in giving him a fair chance and he in turn owed no one any mercy. Once timid anonymous acts of uncivility felt like child's play, Havoc made preparations to become a fugitive. He made up a new last name, "Osaka" and two new first initials, "C. M." and carved himself a scar across his forehead. Homefree, with no known possibility of his past catching up to hims he got to grips with the life of a true criminal. He hung around the wrong places, getting accustomed to their seedy ways of life; how they spoke, when they met, how they entertained themselves, how they carried themselves and most importantly how they survived. He took note of all this in Shelltown, understanding that surving under the radar when the town is eclipsed by the two large beacons meant he could survive anywhere. He got a reputation and became a hopper for a time, making runs for bandits and criminals who couldn't show their faces across town. He would be a diversionary tactic, taunting and goading marines into chasing him or event hunting him so that others could get their time. He even got used to doing small stints in jail for his petty crimes if they gave him no get away in the plan, sending some portion of his pay back home to his mother in unlabelled envolopes. Havoc was able to see how crime flourished, that no one in the small-time ever truly retired, but someone looking to take their place would have them dismissed. Havoc was happy with the idea of taking whatever he wanted, seeing no difference in the way these criminals acted and the way the world worked, only that theses criminals were open about it. He began putting his hand on things he thought he was expected to want, money clothes women, but it didn't seemed to stick. What he truly wanted - a normal, fair chance at life - he was never going to get. Once he accepted that, he began taking from others whatever it was he thought they wanted. He would take their money, the possesions, their woman. Whatever he didn't need he would then cast aside or corrupt to make them meaningless. He was indifferent about choosing targets and latched on to anyone who seemingly had whatever it is they wanted or had pride in. His intent to make everyone else in the world as wanting as he was quickly made him too notorious and hated in Shelltown. Knowing his time would soon be up and he should leave, Havoc began plotting a heist, targettin well known family businesses. The intention was to leave on a high and well funded. Havoc actually did very well. He started a little after midnight and looted seven of the ten places on his list successfully. The night air was getting intense as he approached his eighth target, a quaint, traditional tea house in the public district. Havoc had heard it was a popular place for celebrations and such events, thanks to the house's open policy in terms of customer base. Havoc was dodging and weaving through marines on the midnight shift on his way to the tea house. When he got their, Havoc didn't see the point in making a song an dance about it, simply breaking in to the abode through smashing the front door. Havoc wasn't sure what happened after that, he woke up with a stench in his nostrils and a haze in his head and the overbearing feeling of being naked. Standing to his feet, bumping his head on the ceiling, Havoc realised he had woken up in a dumpster off a high street with no clothes. Shocked, embarrassed and confused, Havoc began trawling for clothes and information. Gossip on the street planted a robber stealing from eight vendors the night before, with obvious evidences of a break in, however the same night the robber apparently came back, giving back all of the stolen back to their respective licenses. Seeing as he was the robber, Havoc knew something was a foot and knew that the teashop had something behind it. As he tried to think back to what took place at the tea house, Havoc felt as if it had been specifically wiped from his mind. Wanting vengeance, Havoc decided to try and outdo his foiled master plan as soon as possible. Robbing himself some clothes and facing a heightened level of security, Havoc tried again. Astoundingly he got to the tea house, target 8, in a faster time than before and was even more ruthless about what he was willing to take as swag. When he got to the tea house for the second night in a row, Havoc decided to give the place a more cautious approach. As soon as he got to the door, his mind had a eureka-moment, with the familiar environment flashback his memory of the night before. He side-stepped as a giant wooden log came heaving through the door frame, the object which had subdued him last time. Havoc let the log settle before moving on inside. He realised that there was a wave of traps set out that seemed specifically designed to dupe a would-be thief. Each trap did something to embarrassed or dismiss Havoc in turn. There was a set of traps forcing him to let go of his loot a few that pricked his foot to hamper his mobility and another that splashed ginger in his eyes to hamper his eyesight. By the end of it Havoc was sprawled on the floor in a daze as a figure walking in from the back door holding a broom with which he butted Havoc unconscious. Needless to say Havoc walk up in exactly the same predicament as last time, naked and in a trash bin. Havoc took this game as a personal offence and challenge. Initially he couldn't believe that a tea vendor could get the upper hand on him so easily, never mind having the skills to undo all of Havoc's robberies in the same night. The other seven vendors were anxiously and nervously awaiting Havoc's arrival that night, but Havoc had decided to change the order around, deliberately going for the tea house first. Once all the traps had been set off, the back door opened once again and out came the owner with his broom, however he did not find a straddled Havoc, but one lying in wait in the shadow of an on-tray. Havoc thought he had the upper hand, believing the owner set out traps to make up for his physical weakness. Havoc never got the chance to test this theory as the man deftly took care of Havoc only using the utensils on his aprons, the traps and dangerous equipment still littering the floors and walls and the dismal lighting of the midnight sky. When Havoc awoke from his third successive knock out, it was hanging in a cocoon of rope with his mouth gagged. He looked around, his squirms and screams muffled realising he was in some sort of kitchen areas, with a range of hot pots, cutlery sinks and fridges around him. Havoc eventually recognised the sound of movement from behind a closed door with a small circular window. A semi-familiar figure stepped through. Havoc didn't recognised the face, but the general figure, realising this was the silhouette that had beaten him three night in a row. Havoc squirms went silent, as he began to question what this man was going to do with him. The man walked right up to Havoc, and calmly recapped the last few nights, confirming that it was in fact he, who kept returning Havoc's loot. Much too Havoc's surprise the owner instantly saw passed how bad Hevoc's actions were to the spirit behind them, noting that Havoc was picking on those who had because he 'had not'. His accuracy and intuition perked Havoc's interest, making him marvel at who or what this man was. The owner pulled down the gag and place a meat knife in Havoc's teeth. He warned him that a certain group of marines would be coming into the shop for their weekly evening drink. If Havoc could not prepare the required 3 cups of sake in time, He would hand Havoc over to them. Havoc did so, in the nick of time, however after simply bring one of the cups upto his nose, the brewer dashed the tea in the sink calling it unfit to serve. At this point Havoc could not explain why but he wanted to know how the brewer could be so sure just by sensing it. It marked the first lesson the brewer ever taught Havoc. It started as a means for Havoc to honestly work up the money to leave Shelltown while simultaneously having someplace to be safe from those within or outside the law who were looking for him, in the mean time the brwer kept Havoc's intrest with a forray of neat tricks and tips in dexterity and fingerplay which made the religiously lercenistic Havoc very happy. However, each single trick came with a consortment of Buddhist teachings, teachings which were displayed in the principles of tea making. Havoc stayed in the back and learned from the Brewer by making tea alongside the Brewer, even though his tea never reached customers. While he matured under the brewer's teching for more nearly three years, his consciou was rendered void seemingly too early for the brewer to revive it. The result, was a Havoc who truly accepted that unfairs, pain and uncredited sorrow were a natural part of life, but on who also never felt he had to justify any of his actions. His mentality towards pain and pleasure where also brought to new levels so that his convictions were naturally void of fleeting emotion. He could inflict pain and seek joys as a logical step than as an emotional reactions and instantly clear his mind of any doubt or regret. Although the brewer was not done, once Havoc believed he had garnered enough money to travel he left the shop and set sail for the seas. The Brewer had warned him that the peace he was looking for would come from within, not without, however Havoc had heard that this was a world without limits and wanted to make sure. Abilities and Possessions Combat: Havoc's skills, whether directly offensive or supplementary, show traits of Buddhist philosophy, challenging the idea that connections, communications and even certain laws of physics are controlled purely by the mind. However the purity or beauty of these principles is lost in Havoc’s categorically immoral application. The exact same principles which Shaolin Monks abide by to train their minds and zeal towards enlightenment, Havoc will flip and use as a list of weaknesses in his opponent, punishing them for not having the same tolerance and reaction towards pain, surprise misdirection and other such stimuli. Havoc thrives in obstructive locales and interactive geography, with the intention of using it against his opponent. Havoc rarely engages in a straight-forward, honest skirmish. His fights tend to look like one underhanded surprise after another, and when the foreknowledge of why Havoc is fighting with his current enemy is taken away, Havoc will always appear as the villain of the piece. It’s more than just an in-battle methodical approach. Mentally, Havoc has started fighting from the moment he has asserted his enemy. Havoc will brazen false weaknesses and pinpoint soft spots in the mentality of his opponents rather than just physical flaws. Havoc will seek to set rules to the battle, whether the enemy is aware of it or not, based on what would cripple his opponent then, at an opportune time he will break each and every implemented rule. Havoc has some core skills with weaponry and because he quips such a variety it’s easy misinterpret that Havoc is with a weaponry sage or an amateur with no skill at all. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. His weaponry function as stage props for an act. He is aware of where each set piece is, and he knows his act well enough to predict when each piece will be necessary. In this context his enemy becomes his audience, who is to be dazzled by the performance because they lack the same familiarity with his props. In reality, Havoc simply does not conform to one weapon type or class, he already knows what he wants to do, or how he wants to fight, and simply selects the weaponry which makes that possible. Weaponry: The 14 Virtues Items: Call of the Predator (A Santamas Gift) - A small black whistle carved in the shape of a beasts head. The beasts eyes are glaring and piercing. Due to the strangeness of the way it is carved, the whistle will have a pitched beyond the range of human ears and calls to animals with a naturally maleficent predatory natures. This can cause one of two effects: It can either summon a pack of natural maleficent predators attributing to the environments (e.g., a pack of wolves in the mountains, a school of sharks out at sea, a crew of crocs near a river, snakes in a jungle, vultures from the desert) within a mile radius to the area, though these animals may be ill-tempered, and will attack anyone they feel they can kill. Or it can cause those with less than half of Havoc's fortune to be filled with fear at the continuous sound of a howling beast whose voice sound like a conglomerate of all known maleficent predators giving their natural cries. The whistle cannot take repeated use all too often due o vibrations. It starts with a maximum of seven uses. Each SL one use is regenerated. As long as it has one or more uses left, it will be intact, but after the final blow has been made it mysteriously and irreparably splits in half. The Hangman - A small golden pipe 4 inches in length, 3cm in outer diameter, 2cm in inner diameter. The edges and surfaces have been smoothed out to remove any course or sharp vertices. So, to double check with your profession bonus you're only pretending to be weaker than you are right? Not rearranging any SD around every SL, correct? Just want to double check with this. Just to double check, you've bought all those weapons correct? I know the poison ones you got from your SL, but I'm just checking on those. With Contenance you're simply throwing the scimitars right, not making airwaves? Wording confused me slightly. Sucker Tag, since it is bouncing off of two surfaces, should be a few higher ranks than that. I think rest of tech are decent? I'll let someone else look over them to be sure. You need to list all changes you made in the edit log. Also, could you list all the threads you've gotten your sd/beli in? Along with all buying threads you have made? Makes it easier on us to figure out you have the right amount and everything. |

The Proffession bonus is about being weaker than I truly am not about rearranging my stats. The highest any stat for the alias can be is the actual stat level. Apart from the free poison weapons and the free santamas present, I haven't paid for any thing else in items or weaponry. With the scimitarang tech it's not creating airwaves. The look like this. I was drawing the parallel that peeps make an airwave attack to make a powerful slash at distance, where as Havoc throws the scimitarangs to make a powerful slash at a distance. Sucker Tag Rank is now 12, juggled/removed other techs to make TP room. Out of laziness I'm waiting for the original Havoc to get unlocked to copy and past the shit I took from it... Done. "The daggers are accurate up to 15m." Not especially necessary; strength and accuracy determine it. Hoax might need a lower debuff depending on how many people the debris can effect. 25M for the weapons Edited by Yaksha, Jul 10 2011, 06:26 PM.

Just realize that an opponents accuracy determines if you "vanish" in Xcision. Your character has been approved. From here on, you can go find some people to RP with, and start getting into some Storylines. Make sure you enter the appropriate information into your signature, the details of which can be found here. |
