★ Professions ★ ~Pop Princess [Entertainer]~ Starzune is a master performer, earning her living by putting on shows. She is a rising pop star with a talent for singing with youth and energy; she is also skilled in employing her charms in order to steal the hearts of her audiences. She knows how to generate excitement and publicity, and just as importantly, her celebrity lifestyle has taught her how to party hard. Her singing can influence others' stats. ~Toy Master~ Experienced after a childhood of creating and augmenting her own toys, Starzune is a leading expert in the narrow field of toy creation. She retains a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of toys' history and construction, allowing her to create her own toys given sufficient time and materials. Additionally, she can gauge the capabilities and limitations of her toys, allowing her toys to remain in good condition. The relationship between a toy master and her toys is akin to the relationship between a swordsman and his swords. ★ Appearance ★ Height 5’7” Weight 111 lbs. Hair Bright orange and more flamboyant than ever before, the pop star's hair has grown out since her childhood and now reaches her calves. She still wears her flaming locks in two oversized pigtails, which resemble streaking shooting stars due to the star-shaped hair ornaments attached to her hair ties. Starzune takes meticulous care of her hair, ensuring it is always clean and stylish. Her shampoo lends her a sweet citrus scent. Eyes Huge and endearing, Starzune's adorable orange eyes are usually able to draw praise even even the grumpiest individuals. Because they are almost always radiant with happiness and excitement, they are sometimes compared to twin suns. Clothing & Accessories Starzune's closet is the size of a small house. She possesses a phenomenal amount of bright, colorful clothing. She chooses the clothes that capture maximum attention, while also judging them for how cute, sexy, or awesome they look. She rarely wears any outfit more than once. She particularly enjoys short skirts and other fashionable girls' garments that generally adhere to a theme of causing her parents anguish. When performing, Starzune dresses according to a “magical girl” theme, which rocket her flamboyance to entirely new levels. These costumes frequently feature boots, exotic dresses, and detached sleeves. Her favorite of these outfits is a light blue dress, strapless and with a puffy skirt lined with the rainbow. The front of her dress is a soft white color, lined with golden buttons. The pop star's accessories conform to a cosmic theme, and though she wears suns and moons she obviously favors stars. The designs of her magical suits almost always include bright yellow stars, and the theme is also usually observable in her earrings, bracelets, and hair ornaments. General Appearance With her unblemished, tanned skin and painstakingly-maintained figure, Starzune is an iconic teen celebrity of reasonable height and incredible skinniness. She is endowed with a perky C-cup chest, in noticeable contrast with her tiny waist. Her build seems delicate, but she is always radiating a sunny disposition and seemingly ready to party. In public appearance she is always immaculately dressed and groomed, clean and almost glowing; the only times when she is not shining is in the aftermaths of parties sometimes when her clothes are more rumpled and her hair is messier and less tamed. She does not like keeping still. When singing, she is always walking around, moving with the beat of her songs, and even when engaged in normal conversation she keeps active with energetic hand gestures as she chatters or laughs. Starzune is almost always giggling or looking like she is enjoying a quiet joke with whoever her eyes meet. Starzune ★ Personality ★ Starzune is all grown up! No longer an overly hyper little girl, she is now an overly hyper teenager who prides herself on her new maturity. She is somewhat more feminine than she was in her childhood, and now cares strongly about her appearance and takes care of herself. Her fashion sense has evolved radically in the last eight years, and shopping for new clothes has become one of her favorite hobbies. Starzune flirts openly with attractive boys and gossips frequently about them with her friends. As a sixteen year-old party girl, thoughts of dating feature more prominently in her thoughts than anything else. Starzune is rebellious in many ways, dressing in styles that shock her parents, and she does let anyone's rules or restrictions interfere with what she wants to do. Curfews and deadlines mean nothing to her and when she sets appointments she is frequently late by several hours. Unless her close friends are there to keep her in line, Starzune can act very irresponsibly. As a celebrity, her connections grant her entrance to parties in which alcohol and other substances of questionable legality are in abundance, and she has since learned to appreciate them. Sometimes she drinks and sails. Her foremost goal in life at this time is to live her bohemian lifestyle to the fullest, doing whatever she wants to for pleasure. She also dreams of achieving fame, aspiring to become the world's most sensationalized musician. Starzune is very charismatic, able to appeal directly to both large crowds of fans and individuals. Those who are not in awe simply to be in her presence describe her as a vivacious, bubbly friend to be around. She is still childlike in several ways, reminiscent of the traveler who explored the world eight years ago. She acts in a very silly and dramatic manner generally, except she is gushing about trendy fashions and gossip instead of about robots and other imaginary fixtures. She retains her sweet tooth; no matter how full she is she always seems to have room for candy or ice cream or other sweets. When she does not get her way, she still throws exaggerated tantrums, acting like a baby until someone inevitably concedes. She's usually lazy, so she tries to make her assistants perform extremely simple tasks for her. Despite her irresponsibility, she is also very generous, donating many of her profits to charities and those in need. She is the first to volunteer to use her fame as a platform for helping urgent issues gain attention; when disaster victims are in need of help, for example, she will implore the public to lend aid. Starzune genuinely considers her fans her friends, instead of merely her customers. ★ Backstory ★ Hometown Edge Town, Dawn Island, East Blue History Emily “Millie” Rookwood was onboard a cruise ship before she could even walk. Her parents, Marissa and Colbert Rookwood, were – and still are – filthy rich through little merit of their own, riding out their youthful love upon a secure financial base. Colbert’s father, Millie’s grandfather, owned a prominent fruit juice company that circulated the best pear nectar in East Blue, and much of his wealth trickled down to Colbert. Marissa was only a pretty island girl of average wealth and status, but she married up. Interestingly, Colbert, who had manners and proper etiquette drilled into him from a young age, was always more lax and carefree, while Marissa tried to adhere to upper class mannerisms, even trying to instill them into Millie years later. Anyway, the two of them shared an extremely extended honeymoon sailing all over East Blue, and even spent six months in North Blue once, on cruise ships, visiting luxury resorts and touring exotic destinations They did not entertain the notion of settling down until Millie came along, and they at last purchased a manor on the outskirts of Lavender Village, Dawn Island, East Blue. And even then, they spent little time at home, taking the infant Millie with them on more cruises. So even as a baby, Millie was touring new islands, meeting new people. For roughly three years, the young family lived an incredibly luxurious, free life. No, nothing tragic happened. What happened was that Millie had to go to school. Her parents could have conceivably hired a few of East Blue’s most prestigious teachers to educate their daughter onboard the cruises they so often embarked on, but then there would be no other children for Millie to play with! She would have been lonely! Also, as his father grew older, Colbert would have to think about taking over the company; it would be silly for him to run a business while leading such a frivolous lifestyle. And so, the family at last truly settled down at their home, in Lavender Village, Dawn Island. The transition from her carefree life at sea to her slightly less carefree life on land – rules, homework, learning – was hard for Millie. Her parents spoiled her, and so the young girl had difficulty accepting that the world didn’t revolve around her, and that she couldn’t always have what she wanted. She was rowdy, loud, stubborn, disrespectful of her teachers even in her earliest years of schooling. But children are malleable – they adapt. She still didn’t listen to her teachers – what child does, really? – but she learned to interact with other children, to make friends and to play with others. With so much money, she always held the best tea parties; she was popular with the girls. She was unbeatable when it came to playing tag; she made friends with boys, too. Her very best friend was a certain girl with blue hair. After Millie’s first year of public education, when school let out for the summer, the Rookwoods went to sea as they used to do, and the whole family had fun. Millie’s parents hoped to make a tradition of this every summer, but things didn’t pan out; the next summer, Colbert had to return home halfway through the summer for urgent business, leaving Marissa and Millie to finish the voyage by themselves. The next year, his work load increased, and he could not take a vacation at all – Millie and her mother went by themselves. As Millie’s sixth summer approached, she was sorely disappointed to learn that there would be no cruise at all that year, no weeks upon weeks of exploring new islands and buying anything that caught her eye. Her father was busier than ever, and her mother had, unfortunately, broken her leg after tumbling down the stairs – she was in no state to travel. But Millie was adamant; she wanted to carry on the tradition by herself. Her parents weren’t about to allow that, but after enough pleas, bargains, and tantrums, they consigned to have a trusted family butler, one who had served the Rookwood family for over twenty years, chaperone her for the trip. In all her life, Millie has made only one decision not arbitrarily and on the spur of the moment. She’s been faced with only crossroad important enough to merit a moment’s thought, and Millie spent weeks thinking about which path to take. Her butler, Manfred, definitely noticed something wrong with his ward, having known the talkative, cheerful girl since her birth, when she showed no interest in the island of square animals, when she didn’t accept his offer of a piggy back ride, when she didn’t demand his last stick of gum. In a selfish, inconsiderate, hurtful, ungrateful move, Millie decided not to return home. It was not difficult for her to, upon docking temporarily at a busy port, give Manfred the slip and embark on a different passenger ship. The first thing she did, upon escaping her chaperone, was write a letter to her parents explaining that she wasn’t coming back. She wrote that she loved both of them very much, that they were the best parents in the world, but she had decided to live her own life at sea and make the most of her life; time she spent at school would only be wasted. She promised to write as often as could, that she would take care of herself, and that she would come back. After she saw the world, she would go back. For over a year, she traveled the world as Razune the Traveler, exploring exotic islands and even venturing onto the Grand Line. She befriended Tyrus Vetterlein and Makoto Yayoi, experiencing several adventures with them on the seas and even facing danger a few times. Before she explored the entirety of the world, however, she grew homesick and returned to Dawn Island shortly before her eighth birthday. There, she was reunited with her parents, and she met her aunt and role model Dakota Solaris during her birthday party. She was a celebrity, known to her fans as “Sunny D”, who surprised Millie with a life-changing offer; she suggested that she take Millie under her wing and teach her to become a pop star just like she was. Accepting almost instantly, Millie trained for an arduous eight years, learning everything there was to know about becoming a celebrity. Now she is preparing to make her sensational debut in the world as the great Starzune, pop singer extraordinaire. ★ Abilities and Possessions ★ Combat Surprisingly, Starzune has grown weaker after her training as a pop star. When she started spending all her time with Dakota, she stopped practicing with her yo-yos and is not as skilled with them as she was in the past; certainly, she does not fight with them anymore. She has learned gymnastics and is capable of executing flashy flips and twirls, which she uses to dodge attacks and run away whenever she can. She is simply not used to fighting anymore and relies on her security guards to protect her. Though her body is extremely quick and powerful, she lacks the skill to efficiently utilize her combat potential. The exception is that she has gained the ability to create star-based projectiles to go along with her cosmic theme. These look flamboyant and cool but don't do much in battle either. She can move around the Blues easily and only pays half price when leaving the Grand Line. On passenger ships she usually gets the most expensive suites.

I'm not sure what the intended use of that technique is, but spirit projectiles are rank 44. Even doing no damage, you'd need something besides sheer will to create them. I can think of a lot of ways low-damage homing sparkler barrages could be used; a ludicrously hax and unstoppable form of crowd control being the biggest most obvious, but the list is much longer.
