Profession: ~Marksman
The profession of Marksman provides sound experience and insight in calculating range, distance and wind elements and their impact on the path of a projectile. It is a general trait that applies to guns, slingshots, cannons, rifles and the like. People without this profession will have little to no luck in firing cannonballs where they are supposed to go under normal battle conditions. A marksman will be able to start with more ranged weapons than normal. They also do not need to pay upkeep for their ammunition.

Physical Appearance
Height: 5'7''

Hair: Emerald Green hair that is kept relatively short for a female, though permitted to grow a little. She now has noticeable emerald bangs that frame her face.
Eyes: Brown eyes, alert and piercing. Her pupils are larger than the norm.
Clothing/Accessories: Primarily bulky clothing to hide feminine physique. Bandages are wrapped about her chest to hold it down, they're covered by a black top and faded green sweatshirt. A metallic belt holds up a pair of gray, loose slacks with black boots with numerous tears on the feet. Leather gloves cover her hands. A thick forest green scarf is wrapped about her neck, raised to also cover the lower part of her face. Her figure is further distorted by a brown travelling cloak with hood which can cover from head to toe. An iron medieval helmet is worn over her head, shielding her face apart from a narrow eye slit.

When less guarded, Clover will opt out of the helmet though retains the scarf; lifting it higher to her nose so it hides the lower side of her face. She will also wear a lopsided gray baker’s boy cap and thick mechanic goggles, similar to those worn by her mentor, Gizzo. They have a copper frame and emerald tinted lenses. Her clothing tends to be less baggy though she retains the heavy travelling cloak, leather gloves and boots.
General Appearance: Of a thin and athletic build. When in full gear, Clover can pull off an intimidating look with the emotionless gaze of her helmet and faked low voice. Her heavy clothing and practiced 'man' posture can guide many to believe she is indeed male with a loaded crossbow pointing their way being enough to dissuade thinking otherwise. No skin is visible in full gear, though beneath Clover has a tanned and healthy complexion.

Her cybernetic legs are made of titanium and have prosthetic skin of the same shade to disguise her upgrades, though several metal slits where the hooks eject would give away her mechanised legs if they were exposed. On both arms, the less disguised titanium bracers cover her forearms and often have a pair of smaller crossbows attached to them. Though her arms are still natural in their entirety, the cybernetic add-ons cannot be removed without inducing great pain.

If one saw her face, they might suggest she looked quite cute though might be a bit dissatisfied with her near flat chest. However, she will do her utmost to hide any features of her body to enhance the trick of gender. In more comfortable company, she may be less inclined to hide her physique though she will do her utmost to maintain her serious image and modesty.

The Character
Personality: Clover is generally reclusive and reserved around others. She'll do her best to sustain the shroud of mystery that comes with her appearance and transform it into an aura of intimidation if possible. Preserving the secret is the utmost priority, meaning she will rarely socialize with people without gaining something from it, whether that is wealth or information. Acting this way has two benefits in her mind, the first is to be taken seriously and the second to maintain a hidden identity to evade the World Government with.

The cold exterior has developed a stroke of pessimism in Clover, making her very sceptical of others around her; often spotting faults before anything else. She dislikes rushing into things, preferring a careful and efficient approach to most obstacles, though in light of two male travelling companions she has considered being more rash as it is clearly a 'male' trait. Seeing others act irrationally in her view can leads to bossy outbursts in attempts to take charge.

Beneath the pessimism and reclusive nature, Clover is very driven, having already aspired to becoming the greatest sniper to roam the sea. This dream influenced by her foster father has also propelled her to achieve this goal by any means, lawful or unlawful. The aspiration leads her to be quite manipulative in her approach to people, though any rare kindness expressed is often genuine, if not then pity. Greed is perhaps her largest fault, a deprived youth making Clover horde most, if not all wealth she comes across at the expense of others. Another fault that has shone through on the Sniper’s travels is her obsession with things; she struggles to disassociate herself with a strong attachment and even defies her natural inclination for self-preservation in moments of madness to protect or stay close to these attachments.

Hometown: Osula, North Blue
History: Born onto the streets of Osula, with a poor mother and no named father, a childhood was somewhat lacking for Clover. Her mother, not willing to stoop low enough to sell herself took the slightly more dignified, yet less bountiful profession of street begging. The few bits of pity from the rough streets of Osula were enough to bring Clover through to an age where she could assist her mother, and eventually do odd jobs for the rich. This unforgiving life style forced quick maturity and intelligence to spawn from Clover, the young girl using her cunning to gather the means necessary to support them both. Crime held the best rewards and it was crime she turned to. As a nippy child she found herself able to steal quite openly and flee from angered bakers and enraged butchers. Stealing became her specialty, Clover developing a keen eye for shiny objects of value and an accurate hand to swipe them.

This lifestyle appeared to have few drawbacks to a twelve year old Clover, right until the point where she stole from an established crime family. Her acts were less subtle then she had hoped, and returning to the street where the blankets and her mother lay Clover found nothing. They found her. The two large men simply sneered as she tried to turn and run, having little remorse as they beat the child to the extent of her life and leaving with a firm warning to never steal from the Mahikos family again.

The kindness of a stranger and luck on her part that he should be passing saved a slow and grim fall into the black. Clover awoke in a hospital bed, shocked and unsure of her surroundings. Needless to say she tried to escape instantly, but the casts on her legs and sharp pains upon moving were enough to dissuade the young girl from moving. Upon asking, the hospital staff informed a confused Clover that her father had brought her in and would return later. As promised, he did. Zedahbi Rebbe was his name. He was not really her father, just a kind stranger. And something more, a pirate; but he didn't reveal that straight away. He brought good news and bad news. Her mother had not been found but he was willing to look after her instead. The good news was hardly thrilling, at first she suspected the stranger was stealing her away for whatever sick purposes and that mother was quite fine. She couldn't investigate this though being limited to the hospital bed.

She made up for this on her release, searching the streets frantically for any sign of her lost mother despite the pains of her legs. Zedahbi found her in the same street again, the child struck with grief and shock at the loss.

Clover stayed with the pirate as promised, learning a little about him every day. He was certainly richer then anyone who had ever cared about her before, the young girl finding his wealth to be seemingly endless to the point where she would wonder how he hid so much money on his body. Zedahbi also provided distraction from the loss, his stories and eventually lessons in marksmanship kept her mind of the loss most of the time. Hobbies and tales could not make her forget entirely. The blame was on her after all.

This arrangement went on for months, till the point where Clover would refer to Zedahbi as 'father' despite his insistence that she didn't. But like mother, father was fated to leave her. At first he seemed distracted when telling stories of his feats as 'Pin Point Rebbe'. Then he would stop and look around, 'checking his surroundings for danger' as he had in the stories. These hints were enough to worry Clover though the result was less gruesome then her mother’s fate. His crew tracked him down in Osula, reformed and ready for adventure. He was delighted to oblige but refused to take Clover with him. Instead he turned to old friends in Osula 37 to care for her, despite the young girl's protests. In her mind she was perfectly capable of living at sea, she could hit the wall of cans with ease in shooting practice! But naivety did not win her anything and she watched the ship sail away with 'father', her hand held by some strange portly woman from her new foster family.

Life in Osula 37 was more forgiving; less crime influenced and a tight knit community compared to the anonymous gangs and streets of Osula city. Clover struggled to warm to her new family despite their kindness though. The father of the household, an old friend of Rebbe too charge and was quick to administer jobs to Clover to keep her occupied. She spent the majority of the first few weeks on the fishing boats, though her sustained injuries made work painful at best.

It was at this point that she was guided to the outskirts of the O37 to a weird shack on a hill with many bits of machinery scattered around it. The resident of the bizarre household was an aging mechanic and inventor, he held the solutions that the hospitals had not been able to provide; cybernetic limbs. But it came at a price, an apprenticeship beneath the creepy mechanic who named himself Mr. Gizzorail. It took half that time to simply adjust to the replacements and beyond that she remained as company and aid for the frail old man and his dynamic ideas.

The four years in Osula 37 consisted of three main elements, working on the ships to support her new family, aiding 'Gizzo' in his lab and learning to maintain her new limbs and practicing her hobby; shooting. Rebbe had inspired and hooked Clover onto the art, such to the fact that she crafted her own bow to mimic her appointed father, albeit it took many attempts to create a functioning crossbow.

Only on graduation from Gizzo's apprenticeship did Clover feel free to set off on her adventure, adapted and well versed in the functions of her replica limbs whilst practiced in her shooting. Meek goodbyes made, Clover set off to Osula docks in search of a ship to grant her adventure, perhaps a hint of vengeance on her mind.

Vengeance was hard to come by though, the girl toiled in her search from the criminal family that had stolen her mother in vain; they had long been wiped out or absorbed into another household, she never learned which. This search consumed her and delayed adventure, until the enigma wandered upon a stranger; a wanted man who claimed also to be a bounty hunter. His tale perplexed her and he repaid her care by bringing the Marines to her door. Forced to flee with the bounty hunter and another, a drunkard swordsman, Clover finally departed from Osula but not in the fashion she had anticipated.

The trio’s bond was tested early and they failed. Sabotaged by a theatre ship of all things, the Sniper was marooned on a Ketsuraku island with the bounty hunter; they soon parted ways. Clover found this new island to be of little interest and sought out a means to escape, it arrived in the form of a Doctor who was raising his own Pirate crew, she accompanied in silence. She stole from him frequently, ranging from food to even his medical knowledge by way of books till he had nothing else worth giving. He recruited others at Shimotsuki Village but they were unable to predict her betrayal; just an hour after they had docked on Gray Island, she stole the ship and sailed out into the ocean with a group of hired dockhands.

From the bounty posters she had taken from Gray Island and the murmurings of her paid ‘crew’, Clover discovered she had achieved an alias and bounty for her crimes on Osula; she learned also that she could hunt other pirates under her guise as ‘Metaleye’ and hand them in for government money under a different identity. So she fuelled a plan and decided to set sail for Loguetown. Her ship was intercepted by a lone wanderer at sea.

She fell for him.

Despite discovering the male coated in the blood of her hired crew, the Sniper hesitated in killing the fellow and bashfully demanded he take their place. Preparing herself for a sleepiness night, to keep an eye on the untrustworthy sea wanderer; Clover slipped on the very bullets she had disarmed him off and tumbled down a flight of stairs.

She awoke in time for the destruction of her vessel. Whilst she had been unconscious, the wanderer had taken to his duties rather than slit her throat. Yet he had been tired and fallen asleep at the wheel, by some luck their unguided vessel had steered itself toward Loguetown but they were approaching the docks too fast. In a last ditch effort, her new companion, known as Galles, steered their ship into another smaller vessel and used the minor ship’s demise to stop their own from sinking.

It was here she met the Artisan Pirates. Another crew to leech off, another crew to one day betray.

Abilities and Possessions
Combat: Clover prefers to fight at range with her various crossbows. She uses her cybernetic limbs to cover and traverse terrain quickly to maintain her distance from an advancing opponent. When forced into close combat, she will evade and counter with kicks though her priority will always be towards re-establishing the distance.

Weaponry: Farsong: A hefty crossbow that is five foot in length and made out of Adam’s wood. The arrows that are launched from this crossbow are significantly larger than the normal bolts, and designed to spin when they are released to maintain their accuracy and velocity. Farsong can only fire a single arrow at a time, and requires reloading making it a bad choice for close range combat. However, the weapon excels at ultra long range combat, having an optimal range of up to three miles. To aid the shooter, there is a scope on top of the barrel though the user’s accuracy ultimately determines the finesse of the shot; in the hands of a seasoned Sniper like Clover, it is a deadly weapon. Only bolts labelled with Far can be fired by this weapon.

Quadsong: A custom upgrade to the crossbow created by Clover from the ruins of her old crossbow. The two foot long weapon can be fired singlehandedly with one trigger next to the main handle of the weapon. Quadsong is designed for short to medium range combat, having two forms of firing depending on trigger. One is a multi-shot that fires four crossbow bolts at the same time, acting like a flak cannon to push back or inflict heavy damage on an opponent; depending on the type of bolt fired. Only bolts labelled with Quad can be fired by this method. The other is a pellet gun powered by a canister strapped to the weapon’s underside. It fires out ink-pellets in pairs, they have an arced trajectory.

Cyborg Weaponry
Dual Arm-Mounted Crossbows: A pair of miniature, repeating crossbows externally mounted on Clover's cybernetic bracers. They can be attached/detached at will and be fired with a thought when mounted. Each contains twelve shots. They are able to fire Bolts which permit repeating shots.
Dual Arm-Mounted Pellet-guns: A pair of miniature, repeating pellet guns that can be mounted externally on the sides of Clover's cybernetic bracers in conjunction with her miniature crossbows or without. They can be attached/detached at will and be fired with a thought when mounted, each contains a mixture of pellets that are selected by turning the color coded barrel on the butt of the weapon. There are 8 pellets per barrel and currently five barrels on each pellet-gun.
Leg Hooks: Several small hooks are held within the shin/sole of the cybernetic legs of Clover. On command these can be ejected to catch onto and pierce surfaces, allowing Clover to cling on walls/ceilings. They also add an extra danger to her kicks when ejected.

Items: Voice Muffler: An iron, mechanical device worn over the mouth to disrupt their tone, making their voice sound a lot deeper than it is. The user speaks into the receiver; their words bounce around inside the small oval device and then travel out of the exterior vents. A side effect has caused the voice coming from the device to sound quite tinny and metallic, a kink Clover has yet to fix.

Traits: Absolute Vision (1 Trait) - Clover's eyes have adapted to control the amount of light they take in, allowing her to see in both darkness and blindingly bright light without harm. They adjust to changes in visibility very quickly.

Flawless Accuracy (3 Trait) - This character's accuracy is boosted by 60%.

Sanic Speed (2 Trait) - This character's speed is boosted by 40%.

Advanced Cyborg (3 Traits) - This is a high-tech cyborg, rarely encountered anywhere but the Grand Line. A character must be within the Grand Line to access this kind of technology. Advanced Cyborgs begin with up to 12M Beli worth of modifications. They are made of steel and may be constructed of materials up to titanium in strength, and may have additional body parts added. Their size may vary from their original form at a cost. Each arm may conceal two weapons and each leg may conceal one. Additionally, they may externally mount cybernetics/weapons at this stage. Cyborgs of this type may have multiple special systems, though moderators may enforce a limit eventually. Upgrades from Basic Cyborg modifications are maintained and do not count against Advanced maximums.

Cybertronic Genius (1 Trait) – These inventors have studied their cybernetics especially well, and pay 20% less to upgrade their own Cyborg parts or those belonging to a crewmate.

Jack of All Trades (1 Trait) – The character is able to master multiple skills, and has become adept at a number of things. This character gains two additional secondary professions. A character may not have Weapons Specialist, Marksman and Martial Artist.

Influential Artwork (1 Traits) – As an artist and a doctor, Clover can combine paints and drugs to create a pallet of special paints capable of provoking changes in others. With this trait, she gains [1/2 Fortune; currently 35] special technique points that can be used on special paint techniques.

Description: Also known as a ‘Tic Bolt’, the tip of the bolt is sharp like a ‘Piercing Bolt’ but coated in Ticoursus Ticaso, a drug stolen from Paw. If the bolt pierces the flesh an opponent, a dosage of Ticoursus Ticaso will be administered to their body. The drug will heighten their nervous system making any injuries several times more painful, even if they are minor wounds. For added cruelty, it can be used on severely harmed targets. Effects last for three posts, it can only be fired by Farsong. [Far]

Description: Using Quadsong and ‘Dull Bolts’, Clover loads a clip of Bolts and moves into close range. Once close, she attempt to press the crossbow into the chest of her opponent and fires the powerful Quad-shot. Designed to severely wind an opponent.

Description: Used to disable a large group of opponents or thoroughly maim a single target, Clover levels her twin mini-crossbows and goes trigger happy on her victims. A flurry of sharpened bolts is created, acting as a lethal, yet short, gatling technique. Uses piercing bolts.

Description: The next step in Clover’s growth as a Markswoman, Audacious Shooting opens up shots that were previously unhittable with straight crossbow shots. Using any of her crossbows, she will apply a twist on the weapon as the bolt is released that causes it to curve in midair. Due to her high perception, Clover is able to map out the trajectory of these shots in her mind and strike targets around corners or cause her bolts to loop around an obstacle to hit their mark. The technique requires plenty of prediction, and is likely to miss if an opponent makes an unexpected movement to avoid a difficult shot.

Description: Utilising the compression tank, Clover hones in on an important target; whether a person, object or area and fires a pair of paint pellets at them. The pellets break on impact, spreading their paint over a meter circumference of their impact area. The effect of the pellet depends on the paint it contained.

Description: A bright pink paint which is exceptionally flammable due to traces of gasoline in its mixture. It is used to both mark significant targets in a busy battlefield and burn them when combined with a source of fire. It greatly enhances the damage done by Match Bolt techniques.

Description: A supreme red paint that is quite eye catching; it is a thick liquid mixture, causing its pellet spread to be halved, meaning it can only effect one target. However, this paint is laced with a scent aphrodisiac, a drug set to enhance sexual desire in the victim. Though her reasons for creating such a paint are rather dubious, it probably has some sort of use in combat. The effects subside when the mixture is scrubbed off the target.

Description: A soft yellow paint which has traces of a weak fear inducing drug, aptly named Abulia by Clover. It is a thin mixture and spreads twice as far when it’s pellet bursts. When applied to surfaces, the paint emits small fumes and permeates where possible into its target and spreads the drug. Once under the influence of Abulia, the target will set off primal triggers that make the victim more nervous and jittery; delaying their decision making process. It is super effective on natural cowards and lasts four posts.

Description: A plush green paste, suitable for painting but primarily used as icing for cakes. No cake with Acrid Green would retain a sweet taste though, it is a ghastly and bitter substance that hangs around on the taste buds. The bitter taste can make individuals rather petty though the effect lessens considerably with every post. It must be fired into the mouth to take effect.

Description: A light blue paint that is mixed with crushed up sedatives that takes effect by permeating into an opponent’s body and taking effect two posts after it has been applied. The sedative is strong once it gets to work, and victims will find themselves growing increasingly drowsy for the next three posts. The effect subside after this point, though a heavy hit or loud clap and half the effects sooner.

Description: When activated, minor exhaust flaps will open up on key areas around Clover's cybernetic legs; the thighs, back of knee, sides of shin and heel. These will expel small bursts of air to allow her to move faster across terrain or higher into the air by 'airblast-jumping'. The system consumes fuel at a high rate, and cannot be activated for more than five posts without running the risk of running out of fuel.

Soto Piercer - Armor Piercing is an effect. Rank 8.

Soto Hell - AP + Gattling = Rank 12.

Audacious Shooting - Well, it's audacious alright. I guess this'd be more superhuman than supernatural, since lolphysics and all that, but it still seems closer to the middle. I'd say rank 20, but I'll let somebody else weigh on this because it's more arbitrary.

Passionate Rouge - A love potion seems pretty supernatural, no matter how you break it down. If it's just like a sort of fixed-target aphrodisiac it's fine, but please change the wording to make that more clear.

Frightful Yellow - Supernatural. Making targets jittery and nervous with poison/paint would be fine at this level, but you've specified "paralyzing fear". It also has the added effect of hallucinations, which would make it a few ranks higher anyway.

Soothing Blues - Ranged, AoE 1 hit kill. I don't think I'd let this fly at just about any rank, really. Making targets sleepy as a debuff is one thing, but a sleeping target is as good as a dead target. If this is changed to drowsiness and passed off as a speed or acc debuff, it's fine as is.

Those are the only techniques I took trouble with, and I'd be willing to bet that aside from the trololol infinity range crossbow the rest of your sheet is fine, so I'll leave that up to somebody else.

Put Audacious Shooting up to 18, figure that's enough.

Just put aphrodisiac for Passionate Rouge now, Lovestruck Red will be the love potion when technique points are more available.

Nerfed Frightful Yellow and renamed it 'Jittery Jaune'.

Soothing Blues was edited earlier to drowsiness, guess you missed that. Went the whole hog and removed the fortune thing though. Added stat debuffs too.

Soto Blitz is fine at rank 12, but now that Soto Flare has been changed to rank 4 it'd take 2 more Tech Ranks to keep at 12. In this case, though, you could probably lower Blitz to rank 8 since the base is rank 4, and it's just adding a gattling to it (rather than adding a second effect to a rank 8, which results in a rank 12).

Soothing Blues would need to use AoE rules for stat alter numbers if it can effect more than one person at a time. If it's not hitting multiple people at once, then you're fine with the numbers as-is.

He then out maneuvers him by side stepping to the back of him and punches him right on the back of his head perfectly which then knocks him out for the rest of the bar brawl.
