Rain looked down at the floor of the house; the wood around was older and still surprised her that it kept up. Alexis had come then and lead Rain outside, she winced slightly almost laughing a little as they started to move, but much to Rain’s dismay, they had stopped once more, Rain’s head racing with thoughts of pain and timeliness. Alexis then offered a piggyback, Rain looked down at her figure and her arm and smiled, This is silly… I’m not that tiny…

Rain leaned against Alexis’s back and laid her chin on Alexis’s shoulder. She wrapped her arms around Alexis’s waist and quietly whispered, “I’m not a baby… but thank you…

Oh this is silly… I don’t want to be carried… Rain sighed and continued thinking to herself. At least we’re heading in the port’s direction. I just wish this pain would stop… The pain had settled itself in her left arm, and was encroaching itself on her chest. She gritted her teeth and refused to whine about it anymore.

Rain then closed her eyes and started to doze off, but then opened her eyes quickly as Alexis announced her name. The excitement rushed to Rain’s head first and the rest of what Alexis said was a blur. She only recalled looking at a sign that had illegible writing scribbled on it. Rain rubbed her eyes as Alexis stopped and stood Rain up, “Are we there…?

Rain slowly regained her composure and looked around, to find that they were standing outside a door. Rain found a sign that said, Doctor and Rain immediately thought also thinking she was speaking aloud, We don’t have time for this! We need to get to the harbor. I wouldn’t blame them if they took off already. This is really unnec- her thoughts interrupted by a loud knocking and some yelling. This time instead of giving her a headache, it made her aware of what was going on, and she found that she was being held on to. The pain had ceased up till this point, it started coursing through her arm again, and she again, grinded her teeth together, rather than whine.

This isn’t necessary Alexis. Please… Let’s just go… They’re waiting.” Rain was weakly and unsuccessfully trying to move into the direction of the harbor. Suddenly, a voice from inside caught her attention, it sounded, angry and Rain really didn’t want to stay to find out who it was, but just as quickly as the voice came and went, the door opened with an annoyed looking woman acting sarcastically and gave an instant Jet-like feel to Rain. As the woman asked Alexis to carry Rain into the room, Rain interrupted for a moment, “I’ll be fine, I’ll just walk over and lay down myself, I’m in pain, not handicapped.” The doctor had then walked across the room. “I’d prefer this go quickly,”Rain answered, looking over at Alexis.

Rain sighed, looking up at the ceiling, This is so silly… Why are we even here, it’s just a bullet… Rain then looked away, opposite Alexis and gritted her teeth once more, the pain was getting worse than it was before, but now her jaw hurt from trying to hold back her agony.

The woman came back making a slight clanking noise with the kit in her hand. She went over and knelt down at the table, and Rain looked at her, letting her arm drop so the woman could work quickly. As she removed the bandages, Rain’s arm felt loosened, and the pain flowed like a rocket through her arm. Rain dug her nails into her thigh and stopped from screeching then, but couldn’t help herself as the woman began to turn her arm. Rain let out small groans and cries, and had a horrid feeling in her gut.

The doctor’s initial speech was blurred by the agony, but Rain caught on after she had said that it wasn’t a clean shot. Not like I need painkillers if I just endure it… But she began to speak now, “If you can take it out, please… be quick…” Rain laid down on the table and after having a wooden block shoved in her mouth, she watched as Alexis came over to hold her down. She had given Alexis some direction but Rain couldn’t hear anything over her own thoughts, This crap is nasty… Why the hell do they make you bite onto these, I mean really… It’s not like- Rain’s thoughts had ceased to exist, interrupted by searing pain, she bit down as hard as she could on the wooden block and after what seemed like hours of pain and agony and crying, her arm had felt loose somewhat. And the doctor began speaking, Rain picked up on the speech, but she wouldn’t register any of it till after the wounds in her arm were stitched up.

Rain sighed as her arm was stitched, a sigh of pain but of minor class but thinking on what the woman had said once more Rain became worried. “How long have we been here!? We really! Really! Cannot stay here for three days! We need to find the others, they may have well gone by now… Please, we can’t stay, there has to be something else we can do. Please. Please! What if… What if you came with us? At least then we could have you around if something like this happened again. Please…” Rain stood up and hugged the woman’s arm tugging her, “Please come with us… I hate making people wait… I’m begging you.

Rain’s thoughts on being pathetic weren’t as great as being late for an arranged meeting. She was bent on taking the woman with them. If she said no, Rain would have to let Alexis go without her.

Sitting beside the corpse of the Ax Man, Jet played around with a throwing knife that the Ax Man tried to use against him. Jet had to admit he underestimated the Ax Man, but the result of the battle was just what Jet predicted, him being the victor. Jet stood up, which aggravated his injured his ribs and of course caused him considerable amount of pain. Jet merely shrugged the pain off and flipped the bird to the Ax Man's dead before he slowly began to climb down the ladder to retrieve his weapons on the first floor. At the first floor of the warehouse, Jet clutched his aching ribs as he walked over to his broadsword and pistol. Neither of the weapons were damaged from the fall which comforted Jet and his wallet. After retrieving his weapons, Jet left the warehouse in search of a bar as he was craving some ale. Jet found a small little bar a few blocks down from the warehouse.

Entering the small bar, Jet made a quick scan of the place, his hand on his combat knife. The bar was almost completely empty save an old man in the far left corner and the bartender. The old man seemed as if he was sleeping even though he was sitting upright in his chair. The bartender was a cute blonde girl around Jet's age was the contrast to the bartender stereotype of a middle-aged male. Sitting down at a seat right in front of the bartender, Jet asked her for a bottle of ale. The bartender smiled. “Hi handsome, one ale you say? Coming right up!” The bartender then placed the bottle of ale in front of Jet, still keeping her friendly smile. “You know, I don't get a lot of guys my age come here. Usually drunken old men. Well anyways, what's your name? My name is-” Before she could finish her sentence, Jet grabbed his bottle of ale, and walked off, leaving the beli on the bar. Jet just wanted a drink, not some small talk. He wasn't in the mood for petty distractions, he just wanted to get back the ship and get out of Loguetown. It was a nice town, but Jet wanted to sail already. Jet was even more annoyed at the fact that the ship was stolen out from under Bastian's nose.

After wandering the streets , drinking his ale, Jet looked for the docks where the ship was supposed to be at. He was told the location by Bastian at the rum warehouse, but was unfortunately not told any directions. Jet was slightly annoyed that he would actually have to search for the docks, but due to it being the location of the ship, he didn't mind as much. He then noticed how empty the streets were compared earlier to the morning. Instead of the loud obnoxious noises of people, there was a calm relaxing silence. Jet enjoyed the silence and had to appreciate it as golden silence was rare to come by especially since he was a pirate. Jet then thought about his potential crew. The fight with the thieves was a good test to see if they really belonged in the crew. If anyone died, they clearly didn't have what it takes and probably would have been killed by Jet himself. Oddly, Jet didn't really want any of them to die, though he wouldn't care if they did. Plus, it's a pain to find new crew members as it is.

Finally finding the dock house, Jet had to now find the ship. The entrance looked surprisingly unguarded but could the lights were on. Taking out his pistol, Jet walked into the dock house with an arrogant style. “If there is any thieves in here, do us a both a favor and kill yourselves. It'll save from a slow death and save me energy.” Thankfully, Jet did not see any thieves, but did see the ship. Even better was his own brother was untying the ship from the docks. “Hell, at least you got your job done Bast, you look uglier than usual though.”

Jin grabbed his red shirt and headed towards the docks. He knew that there was barely any trouble to find the way to docks. Hopefully Jin and the rest of the crew would not have a big problem with all the marines and thieves. He knew that the marines really should be trying to take out the fire more than the patrolling the god damn ocean.

Jin didn’t want to bother with Sebastian if he was still stuck fighting against his opponent, plus he hated showing up to meetings too early. He could have only guessed that he could go over to a bar that is close by the docks, but he looked next to the bar was a blacksmith shop. Jin looked from the three locations from docks to bar to the blacksmith shop. Looking towards the blacksmith shop, he said he could repay the town by blacksmithing one katana. Taking out his trusty blacksmith happen from his waist, Jin looked at the owner of the shop. ”Excuse me I was wondering if I could use your furnace and a few of your materials. I will give you the amazing molded blade if I run out of time to make a sword.”

The owner of the shop just looked at Jin strangely but saw that he didn’t seem to be able to do much harm with all those wounds on him. The owner could have guessed correctly, because he felt the pain would soon take over his body. The owner took out a few leftover iron supplies and gave them to Jin. Jin took that as a yes to be able to use his shop as a station to build some weapons. Molding the blade into an ordinary katana shape blade, Jin started to swing his hammer at the metal but heard a few loud gun shots from outside. Looking at the unaccomplished nearly perfectly molded blade, Jin decided to find the gunshots that he had heard. He knew it came from the docks and decided to go and see what may have started it. Hopefully it was Jet or Sebastian shooting a gun at someone.

Jin left the area and left for the docks. Making to the docks he could find a dead body of a marine. A few gunshots were in their body and Jin could have only guessed that Sebastian or Jet shot them like that. They both were ruthless bastards that would do anything to kill something. The two girls wouldn’t have killed him like this. Stepping over the body to each the ship that was around here, Jin saw Sebastian undoing the ship’s rope from the dock. ””Nice seeing you guys alive, but honestly we still have for the two girls to get here. It’s been a long day hey Jet give me some of that rum you got on you.”

Sebastian grinned at his brothers remark about his own appearance, the corrupt marine had did a number on Sebastian. Between his massive headache, blood caked hair, and a bullet wound in his shoulder he had indeed seen better days. "You pick the best times to lighten the mood brother," Sebastian said as he unraveled the final rope holding the boat to the docks, "Now if your done walking around in a constant haze of stupidity we can start getting ready to leave." He gave a low grunt as he stood up, he would have to see to his injuries when he set out to sea. For now he would wait and see if anyone else from his crew would arrive.

His wait wasn't a long one as Jin was next to arrive, he too seemed a bit injured. Sebastian had to admit he was a bit relieved that Gray made it, least he had to put up with Jet's constant trash talk about how he picked a weakling. When Gray announced he wanted a drink of Jet's rum, Sebastian grabbed the drink from Jet before he could protest and tossed it to Gray. "Drink up Gray, you look like you need it. I will tend to those wounds once we get off this damn island. With my luck, the fire should have been put out and between the cannon and the gunshots the marines could be headed this way next." That said Sebastian walked toward the ship and promptly went aboard not waiting for a response for either his brother of Gray. "The girls have a few minutes before we assume they are dead and we take off," he said plainly as he moved to the piloting room of the ship. They would have to set sail, if they waited to long then the entire point of starting the fire would be all for nothing. And with the dead marine, it was likely to add more crazy complication.

Alexis looked back over her shoulder at Rain and smiled. "I know you're not a baby, but you're injured. For all we know, that bullet could sink deeper into your arm the more you move around. So let me who hasn't been injured take care of the legwork." She gave an optimistic grin and sighed with relief as a woman answered the door to the doctor's house. Alexis frowned a little as the woman seemed less than pleased to have the two of them here, and shook her head a little. "We need a treatment as quick as possible please, ma'am. We're in need of meeting our crew mates." She explained and then looked at Rain as she stated that she didn't need carrying. She shrugged to herself a little and instead led the way across the room after the doctor. Even though she was worried about her friend, Rain could take care of herself; and she knew this for a fact.

She listened to the doctor while watching her give a diagnosis on Rain's arm, and her eyes visably widened when the woman said there was two lots of bad news and a bit of good news. 'Oh god... I was worried about this...' Alexis groaned inwardly but kept a smooth and unreadable facial expression throughout. "Okay..." She said slowly and walked round to the top of the table, doing as she had been instructed to do by holding Rain down at the shoulder with one hand, and then holding the wooden stick in place with the other. 'Heh... looks like that's the most times I've been called Red in a day...' She thought with a slightly amused tone. Hey, somebody had to keep reasonably bright in these situations.

After the bullet had been removed and Alexis had looked away from her friend for the fact that she was a bit sqeamish with things like this, and that she didn't want to see the pain Rain was in. She could hear the grinding of her teeth on the wooden peg and the muffled groans of pain, so it was perhaps a good thing she hadn't been watching. "Oi, we're not doctors yanno. Otherwise we could have treated this ourselves." Alexis pointed out with a raise of her eyebrow at the obvious annoyance on the doctor's face. Her green eyes then darkened and widened in the same way; very quickly. "Three days?!" She practically exclaimed and let go of Rain's shoulders as she realised she was still holding the girl down.

She watched Rain disgracing herself through pleading so much, and couldn't help but feel that it was rather... odd the woman hated being late so much that she would rather embarrass herself instead of being late. None the less, Alexis didn't want the crew leaving them for dead, so they would be heading off regardless of what the doctor said.

"If it's really such a bad thing that we have to stay here for three days as you say it is... I'm not going to argue since you're the professional. But, as my friend said, we don't have time to be wasting here. Our crew is waiting for us, and they're the types to leave us since they'll assume we're dead." Alexis said flatly, speaking nothing but the truth as both her and Rain knew. "And after finding a place where I belong after a few years of piracy, I ain't gonna take that chance. If you don't mind, you'll have to come with us and treat Rain in the three days you say is the time for her to recover." Her last point was more of a demand than a pleasant offering. "If you can't tell, I'm not gonna leave my friend and crew mate here no matter what she says. You're gonna have to be the sensible one and come with us." She said with a slight shrug of her shoulders and wandering towards the door. Time was getting on, and she could almost hear the guys' thoughts from here.

They weren't going to wait for much longer.

"I really do hate to hurry you with such a vexing decision..." Alexis said with no sympathy at all in her voice, turning back to look over her shoulder at Rain and the doctor. "But we have to leave... now." She made a slight head movement to Rain which told the woman to follow as soon as she had been stitched up.

Kazumi barely even paid attention to the two women as they both agreed on it being a quick job, the head ache she was getting was troublesome enough without two strangers wanting treatment but at least it sounded like a quick fix. Bullet wounds were usually just a pluck and stitch job if it didn’t land anywhere with important organs or tendons, if it had been a major artery then she would have been dead by now so that’s good news. So when she was glancing around her parent’s storage closet for some medical supplies she didn’t really bother to go for the more special kits or well stocked, instead she just took a standard one and went back out in the living room to see they had followed her directions and went to work on her treatment.

Unfortunately for her, but fortunately for her patient, she wasn’t feeling or in the best of moods today. She didn’t know if it was falling asleep in the bath or the mundane town she was in but she just wasn’t in the mood to enjoy what was happening. The muffled screams of pain and tears going down such a cute face did nothing to excite the slightly older woman, normally she would have found it a pleasant surprise to be out of painkillers but now she wasn’t able to enjoy one of the perks of her job or torment the red head about her squeamish nature. She had to get away from this town again and find something interesting to do, if she remembered right bounty hunters were able to do whatever they wanted to caught pirates. Perhaps that would be an interesting career for her to follow for a while, after all in the government’s eyes pirates had no rights.

Her gaze turns over to glare at the red head as she addresses the matter of the wound, she was right that it wasn’t their fault but none the less, a head ache always made people grumpy. “I can see why you’re not, I can already tell you cant stand the sight of people in pain or bleeding out; so as a doctor you would be useless. And if she was one, then the best she could have done was try and dig the bullet out along with damaging her muscles as the pain wrecks her body.” She says with more than a little annoyance as she looks at the smaller woman, about to open her mouth to talk more when the more girly looking one suddenly started talking in a panic making her wince from the noise. The smaller woman was being rather pathetic to be begging like she was, no matter what she said three days was the minimum time to make sure the toxins were at a safer level in her system, and as much as she wanted to Kazumi was starting to briefly consider going with them. After all, the begging did help, a lot in persuading her to come to check out whoever they had to meet up with and by then she might be able to enjoy her job more. “The initial treatment only takes an hour or so, but since I didn’t apply the pain killers I would say about 45 minutes at least. But if you don’t have a doctor then how would you expect me to treat your wounds? Medical supplies can tend to be costly and curing rust poisoning is troublesome enough as is. Your friend there can go fetch them and bring them here if you really are running late, they should wait for you as you heal up and I can tend to their wounds as well.” Kazumi said in a cool and brisk professional tone, her gaze shifting over to the red head’s as she already began to push the wounded girl out of her mind for the moment.

The violet gaze locked onto the red headed one’s as she began speaking, nodding in satisfaction since it seemed as if one of them was sensible, a small smile even going as far as to appear at the mention of Piracy; already they were growing more and more interesting. Now, after that it all started going downhill for them, it went from her about to accept the begging proposal of the other woman into an angry doctor viciously glaring at the smaller red headed woman who was trying to boss her around. Begging, bribing, and trying to convince her were the best ways to get her to come with someone peacefully, but by force or demands was something that was likely to bring about worse results than before.

So as the uninjured girl was walking away Kazumi began to pack up the supplies and picked up a scalpel, cutting some cloth as she bandaged the patient’s arm up with a dark look on her face. “You do realize, that you are in no position to make demands girl; after all you just admitted you were pirates. And yet after years of searching you join a crew that would leave you behind for dead without even searching or believing in you; are you sure they are good for you?” She says in a soft tone, the anger bubbling under the surface as the blade’s edge gleams brightly in the candle light. “But, did you know that anyone who helps pirates could face hanging themselves? You have no rights in the world government’s eyes, so for instance… I could simply kill you both and they wouldn’t care, a weakened girl right in my hands and another one with no blades would make easy targets otherwise… How much do you think I can get for your head?” The woman asks as she raises and closes the medical kit’s lid, shrugging on her black cloak as she reaches down and attaches her sword belt, the cold gaze looking at the red head as she picks up the medical kit and her travel bag before walking towards the door. “Carry your friend, and try to remember that when you are on the ground bleeding to death with me as your one hope, demanding my help is what will get you killed the fastest.”

She sighed as the two started to bicker amongst themselves, or at least, that’s what it seemed like to Rain. She was lost in thought about what the others may have been doing at the time. Still clinging to the doctor’s arm, Rain had realized, she forgot to introduce herself as well. She backed up, wanting to speak to the doctor but watched as Alexis moved toward the door.

She rotated her arm about as Alexis seemed to make a valid point to what the others may do; Rain then looked towards the doctor, who seemed to be cleaning up after the stitching, putting things away and such. She started commenting on the morality of the crew, the shear brilliance that is abandonment and Rain couldn’t help but feel she had a point. What crew would leave their crewmates willing to believe they were dead?

Rain’s brow furrowed and she looked towards Alexis with a raised eyebrow, giving that, “who does she think she is?” look. Then shrugged and looked back at the doctor about to tell her to forget the treatment. That was till Rain noticed that she had started putting on a cloak and carried her weapons.

So is she really coming with us then…? she thought to herself, slightly confused at the woman’s intention. She looked as if she were ready for a fight, but Rain took her hand and smiled, remembering what she had said from before, about their crew.

They may be jerks, but you grow to like them, ya’know? It’s just something you get used to. I might not have much relationship with the crew itself, but I have a friendship in Alexis I feel, and you don’t seem all bad. Smart and quick witted, maybe, but it’ll fit right in with the others.

With that, Rain turned to Alexis and hopped up on her back, carried as she was before, and almost as tired as then too. “Alexis…” she started, whispering a bit and sounding quite unhappy as well, “Let’s not tell the others I begged, Kay?” Rain giggled slightly and closed her eyes, pressing her cheek to Alexis’s back , passing out almost, probably to only arrive at the dock with the others gone.

I’ll just take a quick nap… I won’t… try to bother her… anymore after this…

Rain dozed off.

Hey Yo!

Jet acted mildly surprised as his brother insulted his intelligent. “Bastian, I am quite amazed at the fact that you have more two-syllable words in your vocabulary. You were never know to be the type that hit the books. Back then, I recall you throwing them more than reading.” Jet yawned out of boredom and took another drink from his bottle of ale. For how cheap the bottle was, it had a great sweet taste that very much welcomed after the annoying fight he had previously. After taking a the drink, Jin appeared looking almost as bad as Bastian in terms of injuries. Jet wasn't surprised Jin won his fight after he seen how Jin dispatched the marine back at the rum warehouse. Jin surviving was a good thing as Jet did not want to go member hunting again, especially after killing those goons at the bar he stayed in last night. The sight of an injured Jin was funny and gave Jet an urge to laugh. Jet did his best to resist that urge because laughing would aggravate his injured ribs worse than they already were. All three of the men were injured, but Jet was the one who looked the least on the outside. By appearance, the only sing of an injury was the small amount of blood from Jet's mouth. His serious injury was internal and so far Jet was good at hiding it, not wanting to show pain. To Jet, showing pain was showing weakness, making him seem vulnerable.

Jet then returned to reality and welcomed Jin in his own way. “After seeing Bastian, I thought there could never be a more hideous thought. But you Jin my friend, just made me think otherwise. What the hell did Zero do, smash you in the face with a branch from the Ugly Tree? I don't even think Bastian could fix that travesty. I was wondering why the streets were empty, and after seeing you, I believe I found the reason. A good reason it is too.” Jet took a drink from his Ale again. “This one of the greatest cheap ale I've had in awhile.” Jin then asked if he could have some of the ale but inaccurately called it rum. Before Jet could say or do anything, Bastian took the bottle from his hands and threw it to Jin. Jet appeared in unaffected by his brother's action and waited for Jin to catch it. Jet then pulled out his pistol and fired at the bottle before Jin would have a chance to drink it, causing it burst. “If my brother didn't rudely take the bottle of my hands, I would have let you some of the ale. Unfortunately, thanks to his decision, neither you or I can have any. Bastian, you are horrible person.” With that sarcastic comment stated, Jet walked off from the small group and got on board the ship.

On the ship, Jet leaned against the wall beside the door to the cabin rooms. “I don't know about you guys, but the girls are running a little late for my taste.” Jet looked at his wrist as if he was checking an imaginary watch. “I say give them sixty seconds. If they don't come by then, we can assume they died or they are so seriously injured that a sloth can get to the ship in quicker speed.” Jet was wondering what was taking the girls so long, he gave them a real advantage against Sharr, a two on one fight is a guaranteed win. Well whatever happens, it's fated.

Jin looked to the two brothers. Sebastian had told Jin that he would patch him up on the ship when they start to sail off. He liked the idea that these pieces of clothing with be off, and actual bandages will cover his wounds. ”Sounds good for me. Thanks for the ale.” Saying that the ale was in the air, but then a gun shot.

Jet had shot the ale in mid air. God damn Jin needed a drink, but now he couldn’t possibly have a drink anymore. ”Well Jet fuck you. Most possibly you could have just given me that ale. Jet however you faced the god damn brute of a monster I could except you are also in pain. Trying dealing with multiple knives flying towards you then having strings on them and flying back towards you. It’s annoying.” Watching the shattered glass flying around the place where the bottle was once was. Happy that Sebastian and Jet won their fights, Jin looked to the area where the two girls possibly just fought. ”Those two better make it back. Don’t want the boat to be filled with only guys.”

Jin helped with the remainder of the ship. He wanted to leave already, but other than that he was just going to rest on the wooden floor of the ship. He didn’t know if there was room for Jin to sleep in on the ship, so he decided to sleep on the first deck of the ship. Jin found a small corner of the ship to finally just sit and rest. Before sitting down in that certain location, Jin looked into the sea. He knew the adventure would be interesting especially dealing with the Belmonte brothers. ”Just set sail when they come back. I am too tired to be bothered with looking for them anyway.” Jin laid down his hammer and Trinity down, but both of the weapons were in arms reach. If anyone wanted to try and kill Jin, he would be able to reach for Trinity or his hammer and be able to deflect any attack coming from an intruder.

Remembering his challenge to Jet, ”Hey Jet I want that spar when both of us are completely renewed with power and such. Right now I am starting to like you and how brutal you are to people. Give me an answer when we are sailing away. Not now I am trying to sleep.” Jin easily started to put his thumb below the sword guard and thrust the guard upward with his thumb then would push it back down with his thumb.

Patience was not Sebastian's strong suit right now. He could have literally been waiting only 2 minutes before he was ready to take off. "I swear woman always end up making the men wait," he said in a irritated tone,"Get ready to leave, no telling if our fire plan will have worked or backfired. We need to be prepared for the worst." With that said, Sebastian flipped a lever and the anchor began to rise. "Its a shame that Redd and Blu didn't make it, I was rather fond of having some ladies hanging around with us. At least I still have the most important lady in the world back with me." Sebastian said as he grabbed the wheel of his first love, the ship Dea del Mare.

Sebastian gave a final look toward the docks before he took off, and a grin crept on his face as he finally saw the women, though one was being carried. They appeared to have brought someone with them, but that was not all he saw as it seemed to be movement coming from further behind them. Sebastian stared passed the ladies until he was finally sure what was following the Redd, Blue, and the newcomer they had with them. "How could I be so stupid," he said to himself. The thieves group would obviously consist of more than just 4 people, it was likely some grunt may have taken over the thieves organization and were now moving to take out Sebastian and his crew. "REDD," Sebastian shouted loudly to the point his voice echoed, "GET THAT ASS MOVING."

Sebastian turned the wheel and ship began to leave the docks. He hoped Redd could make it before the ship got to far away, along with the sounds of gunfire. The ship had no cannons, which meant now it all came down to if luck was on their side. "We sure do know how to throw a party," he said chuckling as he watched the girls arrived on the ship. He could see that Blu was injured really badly, being that it she was being carried. "Take her to my cabin, we will use that as a infirmary for now," Sebastian said as he steered the ship to at least be facing toward the sea, "And who the fuck is this chick." Sebastian looked at the newcomer while he waited for a response.

Alexis was trying her hardest not to get riled up by this woman who was talking back at her in a rather horrible way. "Okay, I get the picture. You don't like getting told what to do." She shrugged a little, looking at Rain. "I got carried away with what I said; I'll give you that much. Don't expect me to apologise though." Her look was indifferent because of her inability to show real emotion, but it was rather obvious that she already felt a friendship bond with Rain. Working together to kill off Sharr had brought them closer still, and even though they were rivals in some respects, they were great friends and comrades in others. "I feel a friendship with Rain also, and I got carried away with what I was saying because I didn't think you'd come with us. That's all." She held her hands up as a small sign of surrender almost, but despite this, she didn't really mean it. This woman was a doctor, and so she was needed to treat Rain's arm properly. Alexis couldn't go blowing her top.

When Rain hopped onto her back, Alexis held onto the smaller woman tightly, making sure that she had a secure hold and that she wouldn't drop her. She grinned slightly at what Rain said to the woman beforehand, and nodded her head in agreement. "Don't worry, Rain. I won't say anything." She smiled a little and then her face fell flat again when Rain seemed to doze off.

"We best get going." Alexis said in a somewhat placid way, and started off out the house. She was desperately hoping, praying maybe, that the guys hadn't left without them. She knew what Jet would do, but Bastian and Jin were different to that selfish bastard. And since Bastian was the Captain, she knew that they probably wouldn't have left just yet. She was also hoping that they had the ship since all this trouble would be for nothing if they didn't. But knowing that lot, they'd managed to get it. Alexis was sure of that much.

While she walked to the dock, Alexis kept her head up and didn't really want to talk to this doctor woman walking with her. She was afraid that if she did, then she would say something that upset things. So; she just carried on at a quick pace. As they drew near to the dock, she spotted a boat sat there in wait. 'It has to be them.' She thought in relief, and pointed over at the boat for the sake of the woman with her. "That's our destination." She nodded and felt tempted to run, but then thought better of it with a sleeping friend on her back. "Hey!" She yelled towards the boat, waving one arm since the other was occupied with holding Rain. "We best hurry... something tells me that the thieves will have people coming after us." She turned and said to the doctor who she still did not have a name for. She decided to nickname the woman Venom in her head since that was what she reminded her of... the venom of a snake.

Then, she heard Bastian's voice calling to her while they were getting closer. And when Alexis turned to look behind one of the warehouse buildings, she saw why. Just like she had predicted, she could see the shadows of a few more theives lying in wait. "Bastards..." She cursed to herself and despite her better judgement, she started to run towards the boat which had started moving now. Even though the boat was moving slow, it was still moving away from the port, and creating a bigger gap by the second for Alexis and Venom to leap. Alexis was really hoping that she could make the jump with Rain on her back, and she actually felt like kissing the deck of the boat when she did. She had made the leap and got aboard.

"Sorry about being late, you guys. But thanks for waiting. Me and Rain were close to betting you'd leave us behind." Alexis sighed with relief and then nodded at what Bastian said about the cabin being Rain's infirmary. But then he asked who 'that chick' was. "Ah... this is the doctor we found to treat Rain. We killed Sharr just like we were meant to, but Rain was shot in the arm. The shot Sharr took wasn't clean, and the bullet has been breaking apart in her arm. I thought that she was near fainting because of blood loss, but it was because of the shrapnel apparently." She explained in short, gesturing to the doctor woman one more time. "We don't even know her name, but she's treated Rain and for that I'm thankful. Anyway, she said that the proper treatment will take a couple of days. So we kinda brought her along." She started taking Rain to the cabin at that point, leaving the doctor to get 'introduced' to the crew.

Alexis felt somewhat bad about the bumpy ride she must have put Rain through to get here, but they were indeed safe now. She assumed that her friend was awake, and thus started talking while she was walking to the cabin. "Hey Rain... we're here on the ship now." She said as she opened the door to the cabin and went inside. She briefly looked around the cabin and then laid Rain down on the bed. "So don't worry. We didn't keep them waiting that long... just a little longer than they would have liked." She laughed. "Sorry for running and probably waking you up... but you can sleep now." She turned and headed towards the door, smiling back over her shoulder at her friend before leaving her in peace.

She headed back to the deck and leant on the railings, taking her red hair out of the ponytail she had tied it back in for fighting Sharr. It fell down to her shoulders curly and rather messy, but at present Alexis couldn't care less. She was tired from an eventful day, but she was with her crew and Rain was on the way to recovering. What more could she ask for?

Kazumi looked back at the red haired woman as she admitted that she may have carried things too far after thinking that she wasn’t going to be helping them, which was close enough to an apology for the doctor that it felt only right to say something else back. Even if it would just end up being a little white lie, after all that’s how people got along with each other, by lying and never getting caught. “I understand, but please understand that you did come at a rather bad time. I wasn’t feeling well so I was quicker to anger than usual, so just don’t interpret my baths if you can help it.” She said with the best smile she could muster at the time before looking back at the injuried girl, sighing softly as she went into the ketchiin to finish packing up her travel bag with a few premade medical kits. “We will have to see about that.” She muttered softly to herself as she stuffed the provisions in her bags before following their lead down the streets. She knew nothing about their crew aside from a few things; they were roughly new, weren’t very close it seemed, and tended to pick up jerks. All of which spelled a hard time for the people involved, more so since it seemed like they have a tendency to attract people who talked back such as her and red hair.

The doctor barely even bothered to glance in the direction red head was pointing to, her gaze was locked on the corpse that they were steadily approuaching and bent down to inspect it as the other woman said they should hurry up because of thieves. Kazumi mainly ignored her for the moment as she quickly went through the dead marine’s pockets and took his money bag, pulling out his identification she let out a low whistle recognizing the crook’s picture. “There goes my free get out of jail card.” She thought in disappointment, blackmailing him for having a mistress was something she had been looking forward to for a few years now. However her attention was redirected behind them to see men coming out from behind the ware houses, the sound of feet running alerted her that red head already started off towards the boat.

Giving the marine one last look she dropped the ID and run off after the two women as she stuffed the money in her shirt and shifted the position of her packs as she got closer, freeing her hand as she watched the woman leap onto the boat and put all of her strength into her own jump, hand grabbing the railing and locking on with an iron grip as she pulled herself up and walked closer into the deck to get away from the water’s edge and following the two girls as the red haired one explained what happened. To which Kazumi actually listened to as she eyed the man up and down noting the injuries which none seemed to be serious before glancing towards what she assumed an old man sleeping on the deck.

It appeared as if he had already managed to bind his own wounds up or someone else did, and from what she could tell his treatment could wait awhile longer as well before her violet gaze locked onto the last man in sight. So far it didn’t seem like he was injured to bad, some bruises here and there maybe but all around better than the others, she would likely have dismissed him entirely from her list to check if it wasn’t for the way he held himself. To her he seemed like a wolf whimpering in a dark corner nursing its own wounds by the way his actions seemed to avoid aggravating his torso. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, captain I’m assuming. As the red head told you I’ll be traveling with you for a while at least until the woman’s condition gets stable. It shouldn’t take longer than three days to get her on the right track and up until a week if you want to give her a full recovery. First though, I would like permission to examine him to make sure everything is alright since it seems like the rest of you aren’t in any danger.” Kazumi said politely and respectfully to the man, far from the tone she had used on the woman up until now as she give a not in Jet’s direction to indicate she wanted to examine him before going through the process of treating the others and finally sleeping someplace other than a bath tub of lukewarm water.

The sound of water drops hit the ground, darkness covered the plain.
Blurriness turning into objects of everyday.
The water droplets started to fall into a pot, making a softer echo.
The scenery turned into a valley, the hills grassy and the horizon covered with trees and brush.
The kitchen table was cleared and empty, holding only one plate.

The sun was dawning and the home was a twilight mixture of light and shadow. Up the stairs it only got darker and the bed was messy as if someone had just gotten out of it; sheets wrestled down to the floor, objects knocked off the dresser. Over by the window a woman sat in a chair, rocking back and forth, slouched forward with her hands covering her face.

She had been crying.
And her name was Alice Seregon.

A sudden shout of “Hey!” woke Rain out of her sleep, her eyes only narrowly opened; then the sudden jerking feel of running gave her a slight headache. She squeezed onto Alexis slightly, only enough so that she knew herself that she wouldn’t fall. She closed her eyes again, but suddenly another jerk made her almost certain that she should hold on tighter and keep her eyes closed, and then, just as quickly as everything started, she could feel that it was over.

They had started talking and she felt barely awake, sleeping again.

Notes of Music could be heard, echoing through her room as she stopped to lift her head.

It was definitely her and Rain’s heart started racing. Rain walked over to her, hoping that she could somehow interact with her mother. The woman turned her head and looked in Rain’s direction. There was a bruise on her cheek, more than likely from falling out of bed. Rain began to speak but an eerie look came across her mother’s face.

Rain felt an uneasiness come about her, the darkness had come back quickly as the woman stood up and the sun went down. It wasn’t dawning, and her mother’s eyes had become colder, evil intent in them. She appeared next to Rain, standing on a stool. Rain looked towards her mother’s feet, not wanting to look up, and watched as she kicked the stool away, her feet dangling above the floor.

Rain slowly woke up, only mere seconds had passed, and Alexis had began speaking. She had said that they had made it to the boat, and laid Rain in a bed. She apologized for taking so long, and Rain answered softly, “As long as we made it, I’m fine…

She then watched as Alexis walked out of the door, and Rain began to think to herself aloud.

My mother would never, not in a million… But that… That was also while I was there with her. She makes me worry without even being here… Hm… I’m sure she’s fine, but that dream… What did that mean? It’s too late to go visit now.” Rain sat up slightly and grabbed her arm, rubbing the bandages. Then laid back down, afraid to go to sleep.

It was a long day for everyone and she ended up falling asleep anyway, after making her way onto the floor, so that she didn’t take up a bed. The sea felt nice underneath and the rocking calmed her down.

The day started over. Her mom was sitting on the edge of the bed, and seemed to be happier this time. She looked over towards Rain and patted a spot next to her, Rain crawled over onto her mother’s lap, smiling. Alice then spoke.

I missed you,” she said.

Rain nodded and hugged her mother tight, the dream fading to black as Rain began to snore.

Hey Yo!

Jet simply nodded as Jin proposed a sparring match later on between the two men. “Yeah, it'll happen eventually. Don't know why you want to die so soon though.” Jet shrugged. “Whatever, anyways you should know Jin. Kissing ass will get you no where Jin.” Jet replied to to Jin's comment about liking Jet for his brutality. Even though Jet still thought Jin was an old looking man with hobo clothes, he did accept him as a crew member. Jin was getting used to Jet's way of handling things, which annoyed Jet as it was fun pissing him off. Jet frowned as he would have to think of new material. Noticing Jin was now asleep, Jet left the wall he was leaning on and headed over to Bastian. Bastian had already got the ship to begin departing, leaving the possibility of leaving the girls behind. “Well bro, about time we started moving. I thought you were going to go soft on the women and wait longer. If they make it to the ship, then I guess they should be part of the crew. However, if they fail to get here on time, then they really are the jokes I thought they were.”

As the ship was departing from the docks, Jet saw women running towards the ship. One on of the woman was Alexis who appeared to be carrying the small woman, Rain. The other woman was unknown to Jet, who sighed that the girls managed to drag a stranger with them. Jet casually drew out one of his throwing knives, ready to down the stranger woman at any signs of hostility. In truth though, Jet would of threw the knife at the woman just for the fun of it, but his brother would probably kick in the ribs for that, something Jet could not afford to happen. His ribs were angering Jet, not because of the pain but the fact that the Ax man was able to injure him. Jet made a mistake of underestimating the Ax man and suffered for it. Fortunately for Jet, his brother, the Captain, was also a doctor. Jet focused his attention back to the women who surprisingly managed to literally jump aboard the ship. Now that the women were on the ship, Jet was able to see why Alexis was carrying Rain. Rain was injured, most likely from gun shot wound considering the thief they fought, who was supposed to be an archer.. Jet commented on Rain's condition in a sort of mocking monotone voice. “I'm a little shocked Alexis, it was a two on one fight, and somehow one of you actually managed to get hurt. I gave you two the clear advantage, and you failed to prevent Rain from getting injured. Maybe I should have gone against Sharr with Rain instead. If that happened, not only would she be here on time, but she would have been walking with pride to the ship, not being carried like a sick kitten. It's not my business though, at least you did better than I expected and lived.”

After Jet taunted Alexis, Bastian asked who the fuck the other woman was, a question Jet also wanted answered. Alexis answered the question and told Bastian that the woman was a doctor that aided the injured Rain. According to Alexis, the doctor was going to travel with them to tend to Rain for a few days. Jet already did not approve of the doctor woman as the crew already had someone with medical skills, Bastian. The woman greeted Bastian and explained the situation of why she was on the ship. She then asked Bastian if she could examine Jet, which caused Jet to scowl. He didn't need some doctor to examine him or treat him. His injury would heal over time and all he needed was for his brother to wrap up is ribs. Bastian was the only person in the world that Jet could really trust, though to a certain extent. He didn't know this doctor and did not trust her. He found her suspicious and she seemed like someone who would sell pirates out for a little beli. “There will not be an examination. I don't need one as you can see by my appearance, We also do not need another doctor on this ship, we have the Captain who can look after Rain.” Jet looked over to Bastian, showing his brother that he was annoyed. “Just throw the doctor overboard Bastian. I would kill her, but since she helped out our ever reliable crew mates, throwing her over board is the least we can do to show our appreciation.” Jet leaned back against the wall near the cabin door. “It's your decision though Bast, you are the captain.”
