Evening. Bar Called "The Devil's Arse". The bar was bustling with sailors as it usually did this time of night. It was a well known hot spot for sailors, fishermen, and even a few pirates. Marines usually avoided the place, not out of fear but because the owner held no love the marines. Though he was always careful to obey the laws, he never serviced the marines when they came for drinks. Which was the main reason why pirates would even come to this place as it was the one that was less visited by the marines. The atmosphere of the bar was a welcoming one as everyone inside got along singing songs about the sea, sharing tales of their adventures, even showing off some of their treasures they found. It was the perfect place to be anytime of night if you were looking for a good time. The barmaids were fairly decent though some appeared to be the product of hard living as the bags under the eyes were like the epithet of such events. The bar itself had three floors, the first was where drinks and food were served, the middle was a balcony like area where drinks and food can be served as well though it was mostly reserved for the more high paying customers. The third floor was the inn where traveling seafarers could rest up from their long travels. The second floor was particularly empty this time with the exception for a few people sprinkled here and there. Most were down on the first floor dancing and singing merrily. In the farthest part of the second floor near a well light fireplace sat one particular person. He was alone with a large mug in his hand as he stared into the fireplace. Sebastian had been waiting for his brother in this bar for much longer than he intended. He had arrived earlier in the day with intentions to get a jump start on their adventure to take over East Blue. However, his brother was still a no show which irritated Sebastian to no end. He brought the mug to his lips as he took a sip of the strong alcoholic beverage. The barkeep outdid himself with this homemade brew as it burned the chest as he drunk more it, it was definitely not for people who lacked the constitution for strong alcohol. He glanced over to the other end of the bar and noticed a large group of men glancing his way. They had been doing this since they had arrived and he recalled that one of the men had actually been present when he first docked upon his arrival. Sebastian pretended not to notice as he drank more of the strong liquid giving a deep exhale as he put down the empty mug. The room was spinning slightly which meant he had maybe gone over his limit for drinking, there was only one thing to do at a time like this. "Mistress, another pint," he shouted in a sluggish manner as the barmaid nodded and walked off to get him another drink. "Dammit Jet, where the fuck are you," he muttered as he turned back toward the fireplace. The last thing he recalled was the barmaid setting down his drink and him taking another sip of it before all had gone black around him. The Following Day..... Sebastian awoke to find he was still in the bar, though everyone had all but left. He tried to stand but he had a hangover that could topple a elephant. He struggled to his feet trying to keep his focus, "I'll never drink again," he said to himself as he walked down the second floor stairs that lead back to the first floor. He had told himself this same thing 1000 times but as always he was only lying to himself. He was done with waiting for his little brother, he would catch up with him eventually. He left a note with the barkeep saying that should a man named Jet arrive that he was to meet him on the next closet island to Loguetown. Sebastian was aware of how vague the directions was, he wanted to make his brother pay for making him wait this long. He also blamed his brother for his hangover, "If he had arrived on time I wouldn't feel like shit," he thought to himself. The barkeep of course asked for a price to pass such a thing on thus prompting Sebastian to pay the man 1,000 to see the job get done. With the Business concluded, Sebastian left the bar immediately regretting the decision. The beaming sunlight hurt his eyes which in turn made his head hurt even worse. He made it a point to hurry and get to his ship, he would rest there for a few hours, maybe nap off the hangover, then set sail. When he reached the docks he approached the place where his ship should have been. Sebastian blinked several times and rubbed his eyes, perhaps the hangover was making him hallucinate. "Where the hell is my ship," he said loudly, holding his hand to his head. The entire ship was indeed gone, and when Sebastian checked his pockets for the paperwork for the ship to be docked here, he found they too were gone. Someone had robbed him while he was passed out. He tried to think of who was around him when he recalled that one familiar faced that he had seen at the docks and at the bar. "That kid...he had something to do with this," he said to himself as he clinched his fist,"Today is so not the fucking day for this." Sebastian said as he doubled back to the bar, the barkeep was a man who remembered faces and names, at least in this case Sebastian hoped so. He would ask the barkeep about those guys, being that tey were on the second floor, they had to be regulars otherwise the barkeep would not have let them up to the second floor. "What a damn way to start my morning," he said as he made his way back to the bar. |

The day was getting old and dark. The new crowd of sailors and marines rushed into this bar. Jin had sailed all the way from the North Blue to Loguetown. He hitched hike his way towards to Loguetown and wanted a different set of terrain to look at. Jin entered the bar to just see what he could do and try to find a blacksmith shop the next day. He found a wooden chair near the corner. The area that the wooden chair stood fit the personality of Jin, dark and mysterious. Jin leaned back into his wooden chair to watch over the activity going on in the bar. The tip of Jin’s Trinity’s sheathe positioned itself towards the wooden floor. He watched and dreaded the fact that snobby sailors, pirates, and marines stood around yelling for more mistresses to come to their “aid”. Drunk to their toes each one would walk around like a newborn baby trying to walk, the people at the bar were Jin’s entertainment. Over the night, one of the mistresses kept trying to give Jin some rum, but Jin was not in the mood to drink anything yet. Jin was tired of watching of these men making fools of them by harassing the barmaids out around the bar. Jin traveled towards the 2nd floor to see if there was any kind of interesting events happening over there. He saw a group of guys staring towards this one interesting fellow. This interesting fellow floating around the fireplace seems like a guy Jin would want to meet in the long run. Jin couldn’t care too much about him now. He was tired and set his eyes on an open bed in the bar. Next Day: Jin was up early to see if he could find any blacksmith shop looking to hire a blacksmith from the North Blue. He walked towards the barkeeper and gave him 1,000. "Thanks for the room, entertainment, and food. Do you know of any blacksmith shop that might be hiring an apprentice or watching over them? Oh and some supplies for crafting? The barkeeper redirected Jin towards the dock from where he entered. He said that there may be a few ships looking for a blacksmith to accompany them to one of the other Blues. He hustled towards the docks to see if any man had a position on his ship for a blacksmith. He happens to see the fellow from last night from a distance. The man was searching through his pockets and looked towards the port to see nothing. Jin could only think, Is this man a pirate? He might be interesting to follow for the rest of the day. He guessed that this fellow could only have lost his ship which is very unfortunate for him. Jin pushed back the idea of looking for a place to hire and to follow this fellow. Jin could hear the stranger say a few words, but could not clearly make them out. Jin was going to be careful, because this man could easily turn around and destroy Jin. Guessing the fact of no weapon to be seen, the stranger had to have a concealed weapon somewhere or was a martial artist. Jin decided to keep his right hand really close to the grip of Trinity. No matter what happens Jin was sure that he will find who this man was and both of them weren't going to get out of this place without a few scratches, cramps, or laughs. Jin was determined to find out if there was any kind of concealed weapon this stranger might hold. |

In amongst all the hustle and bustle of Loguetown's crowds, a red-head was flitting in amongst them, casually looking around. She had her arms folded across her chest to act as a physical barrier; like she did wherever she went. Alexis had been in Loguetown for over a week now. She was getting bored of the same old scenery, familiar people and boring excuses for pirates that came through the main town square. She was looking for a crew, but all the ones she had come across so far had been 'pussy crews', in her opinion. They were the type that lacked sense of direction; didn't have any goals or aspirations. Alexis dispised them for that very reason. For the past few days, she had been buying cheap guns, cleaning them up and flogging them for very high prices just to earn some profit. It was amazing how many idiots there were in this town. She absently unfolded her arms from her chest and hooked her index finger into the handle of one of her pistols, spinning it round her finger while she walked. She was heading towards the dock now on her rather pointless wander. In her backpack, she had some more guns that she had been tweaking and cleaning until the early hours of the morning. Somebody better buy them, otherwise she wouldn't be too pleased. She reached the dock, and finally the crowds of people started to disperse a little bit. Many citizens here didn't take an interest in the docks. They simply milled up and down the high street looking for things to buy and stuff to do. If Alexis was on the docks, she could probably get some rich travellers to buy the rather crappy guns that simply looked good. 'Aha... he looks like a bit of a chump... I mean, my next customer...' Alexis thought with a slightly sadistic smile. Her eyes were on a man who seemed to be heading away from the dock. 'Damn! He's gonna get away!' She cursed herself and hurriedly made her way after him, slinging her backpack off her shoulder and holding it in one hand, smiling fakely at the man while she walked alongside him. "Hi there, mister! You seem like the kind of guy to me who likes a good gun or two. Well, I have plenty for you to choose from; all made from the finest iron ores imported from around the world! It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, yanno. I'll sell you this state of the art, lightweight, single-shot rifle for only..." She paused for dramatic effect, bringing out the rifle so it rested skilfully in her hands. " 400, 000 belli! I know what you're thinking; that I must be crazy to be selling such an amazing gun for such a low price! Well, I'm most definitely sane, and this gun could be the one for you! What do ya say?" She asked in her best saleswoman voice, still beaming fakely from ear to ear. 'He's totally bought it...' She thought, quite proud of the way that sounded in her head too. It made her sound like a professional at what she was doing; even though she was simply doing it on a whim to earn some belli. After all, the ammo needed for her pistols didn't come cheap, and she had to get the money from somewhere. Not only that, she needed new Navigating equipment too which was a pain. She also needed to find a decent map of the East Blue (since hers was nearly ripped to shreds), and a map of the Grand Line since she was planning on heading there after joining a crew. It wasn't a question of IF she would join a crew, it was a question of WHEN she would join one. Edited by Aimi, Mar 29 2011, 09:39 AM.

Sebastian head was still banging which made running a very difficult task. Thus he more or less walked at a fast pace in attempts to get back to the bar. He hadn't gotten far however, when he noticed a little red head woman bounced next to him. Based on the few tidbits he could gather from what she was saying he got that she was trying to sell a sword or gun, something to that effect. Neither of which he needed as his weapons was his fist, however when he began to try and cut her off she pulled out a rifle. " 400, 000 belli! I know what you're thinking; that I must be crazy to be selling such an amazing gun for such a low price! Well, I'm most definitely sane, and this gun could be the one for you! What do ya say?" Sebastian finally stopped and took the gun from the red haired woman ad acted as if he was interested. He held the gun up and looked about it as if he actually knew what he was looking for. A ploy ofcourse, Sebastian knew next to nothing about quality guns and for all he knew the gun could actually be worth something. Done with his pretend inspection, Sebastian tossed the rifle away without a thought,"Not interested," he said as he walked off, heading back toward his goal. Today was proving to be an annoyance, more so than Sebastian thought. His brother was late, his ship was stolen, he had to deal with annoying salespeople, and not to forget his hangover that made his head bang louder than 30 cannons. He assumed the girl would be trying to catch her gun, so at the risk of puking he dared to make a run for the bar. He immediately turned a corner and slammed straight into the someone head first. Needless to say Sebastian reeled back from the hit which felt like he just ran into a stone wall. "Watch where the hell your go--," he started to say when he got a look at who he had just slammed into. It was the boy from the bar, the same exact one he had seen at the docks when he had first arrived. The boy also seemed to recognize him as he immediately took off without a word. Sebastian immediately was up on his feet and was after the boy, despite his head still spinning a bit his anger and desire to catch this boy made him forget it. The boy was fast, much faster than Sebastian as he easily outran him. When he could take no more running, Sebastian stopped to catch his breath. He looked to see that he was in front of the bar where all this nonsense had began. Still catching his breath, Sebastian walked into the bar and was greeted by the bartender. "Save it old man, I need some information from you," Sebastian said in a almost raspy voice as he was still trying to catch his breath. "What do you need," the bartender said as he cleaned out a mug,"Perhaps something for that hangover." By the tone in his voice, Sebastian could tell the man trying to be funny, being that he wasn't in the mood to bash his face in Sebastian let it slide. "I need to know about a group of your customers last night," Sebastian said taking a seat, his tone more clearer. "I had alot of customers last night," the bartender said plainly as he filled up the mug and handed it to Sebastian. "One the second floor, their weren't many on the second floor with, infact there was a small group at a table nearest to the railings. I want to know who they are," Sebastian said eyeing the drink suspiciously. "Oh those guys...no clue, they just arrived a few days before you did but they paid alot of money," the bartender answered,"Drink up, that does wonders for hangovers." Sebastian wasn't buying that fact the bartender hadn't got a name, unfortunately for the bartender, no one was around which meant only one thing. Sebastian picked up his mug and splashed the contents into the face of the bartender. Following this up he grabbed the bartender by his head and slammed it on the bar,"If I feel your lying to me I will slam your head against this bar until either your face or the bar itself breaks," Sebastian said in a kind tone. "I don't know the guys name," the bartender said before his head smacked against the bar again. "Wrong answer," Sebastian said plainly. After several more head bangs on the bar, the bartender finally gave away some information that was usable. Apparently, the group were ship robbers and they usually preyed upon unsuspecting sailors who would come in for a drink. They were paying the bartender to keep silent about it and in return they broke him a small piece of the profit. The bartender assisted with getting the target or targets drunk off his special ale. Once the person was passed out, the thieves would rob him blind until he was known the wiser. "See how easy that was," Sebastian said letting go of the man,"Now your gonna help me out. I am gonna stick around for a while, and your gonna signal me when one of those guys come in." Sebastian stood up from the bar and began to find himself a seat on the first floor. He glanced back at the bartender before sitting down, his dark gold eyes seemed to be looking through the man,"If you tell them about me or our little trap, you won't live to wipe another mug." The bartender nodded, as he wiped his face and put on a bandanna to hid the bruises on his forehead from the multiple slams to the bar. Sebastian kicked up his feet and relaxed, he made it a point to look like a patron so that if the men did come in they wouldn't notice him. Upside to all of this, his hangover was getting less severe. The bartender was right, that mug did assist with his hangover. |

Jin just found the man interesting to follow, but then a red headed girl came out of nowhere. Her hair and figure distracted Jin. The fiery personality that probably came with that red headed girl just made Jin want to talk to her more. She was selling a few guns in her backpack and the guns looked like a rip off to be honest from Jin’s view. The problem with these guns that they were shined so well that you could tell the metal that created them. Iron, one of the cheapest metals to use for crafting guns and swords, covered the barrel of the gun. The gun the girl gave to the man Jin was stalking was tossed by the man, and the girl caught it with not much struggle. Then the man started run. Jin didn’t know why he didn’t start running after him, but Jin was entranced by this girl. Jin wondered what he should do to conflict himself with the red headed girl or maybe not. At the time of being entranced by the red head girl with a red rose on her bare back, Jin looked at then saw he couldn’t find man he was following beforehand. ”Damn it. Huh I lost him maybe I should talk to her now.” Jin slowly walked towards the red headed girl. Jin wore his black cloak so the hilt of his sword wouldn’t show towards the girl. ”Nice catch, but I have to say that gun ain’t worth 400,000 beli. I can keep that a secret if you can help me. I first want to know if you happen to catch that man’s name or where he may be going. Second would you like to go to a bar with me? I have a meeting to attend to right about now. After I finish that meeting we can talk about how I can craft those rifles into something actually useful.” Lying completely about the meeting, but Jin couldn’t miss seeing the man again. He couldn’t lose sights of him again. Without another word, Jin began to walk towards the bar he came from. He didn’t care too much for whom this woman was, but if she knew about the fellow; Jin would want to know what kind of feeling she got from him. The alleys and roads were crowded with so many people. Jin kept his items close to hand, so thieves would fail at their attempts to steal his belongs. He could only guess that the man went back to the bar to retrace his steps if he had left the documents at the chair that he was in the other night. Getting hit by a flashback, Jin realized a small group of men were watching over the guy Jin has been stalking. That group of men had a feeling of evil intentions. The next time Jin finds this fellow, Jin might want to introduce himself. Jin watched from a window in front of the shop to see the man holding the bartender’s head and banging on the counter. He couldn’t make out of any of the words they were speaking about, but Jin could guess the discussion about each one had to do with the thieves. Jin smirked and when the brutal assault on the bartender came to a stop; walked in with no hands on his sword. He is willingly to talk to this fellow and give his assistance in destroying these thieves. |

Few days back... Asho felt the boat he was on come to a slow stop. "Finally" Asho shouted. Oops Asho thought to himself, I have to get out now! Asho was a stowaway on a boat of thieves from wild wild west blue. He was not well rested since he could not find pillows or blankets on the boat. Because of the shouting Asho made earlier the whole boat of thieves were looking for where the shouting came from. Asho was not in the mood for a fight, he needed to escape and find a place to sleep. But he was too late the thieves had discovered him. "Where... where did you came from" one of the thieves said. "Looks like we have ourselves a stowaway" another said. "Lets show this little kid what we do with stowaways boys" the tallest bulkiest looking guy said. He was obviously the leader of this group of thieves. As this leader walked slowly closer to Asho he backed up until he bumped in the wooden wall of the boat. Asho was surrounded, he had no choice but to fight "Crap, I'm not in the mood, damn it all Invisible Sword Draw, Silent Night". Spoiler: click to toggle Asho caught all but the thieves leader in his attack. The leader swiftly dodge the attack he was fast really fast but that didn't matter right now. An opening was made by the attack he was free to escape by jumping overboard. "Damn stowaway you can't get away from us were ship robbers you wont be able to leave of this island on a single boat." the leader of the thieves said. Asho swam to land and ran until he could find an inn. No luck, "Where the hell am I" "Where are the inns" "How do I get off this island" Asho head was full of questions but no answer. Asho took a deep breath, I'll just ask someone he thought. That's exactly what Asho did, he learn that there is an inn above the local bar and that he is in Loguetown, east blue. Asho being underage was not allowed into the bar so he decided to sneak in through an open window of the third floor. Asho climbed a tree and jump threw the widely open window. The room was empty, bed nicely made, room spotless. Asho locked the door, climbed into bed and fell asleep. Present Day... Asho usually waked up to the sounds of bird chirping and kids laughter. But today was different Asho awoke to the sounds of banging, crying and yelling. It was coming from the first floor. Asho slowly and quietly walked down the stairs until he reached the first floor and watched a man banging the bartender head on the bar until he got information out of him. Asho still hiding watch as another man entered the bar. Edited by PureHeart, Apr 4 2011, 09:08 AM.

(OOC: Okay, here it is at last :3 So sorry to hold you all up! D: ) Alexis's jaw practically fell open when she saw the man she had offered her rifle to throw it behind him carelessly. She did of course catch it before it hit the ground, but she was so angry that her vision almost turned as red as her hair. She was easy to anger; a lot of people knew that much. It seemed her haircolour seemed to match her hot-headed temper. She threw the gun down onto the floor in rage and stamped her right foot for a little bit of an outlet of her stress and anger. "SON OF A BITCH!" She screamed at the top of her lungs in the direction of the strange man who had disrespected her property. She was about to take off after him, but she found herself being spoken to by a random man. She turned round sharply, her usually rather pretty face screaming murder and her green eyes seeming rather dull; showing her serious anger. "Do you honestly think I'm stupid?" She asked with a rather venom-filled tone of voice, as if the question she had just asked answered itself. "I know that the gun isn't worth that much money! I was just trying to earn some decent money! Ever heard of getting profit? Being a pirate is all about deceit and scamming!" She exclaimed, waving her arms around slightly before she realised what she was doing. She scowled and folded her arms tightly across her chest, tapping one of her feet down against the ground impatiently as she realised the man had actually asked her a question. Did she know the name of this man who had pissed her off to high heaven? The answer to that question would be a definite no. "How about this; I'll go and learn his name when I go to beat him into a pulp." She said harshly and looked over in the direction of where the man had disappeared to. She watched him disappear inside a bar before she had answered this man back, so now she knew where he was. 'The cheek of it... first a guy nearly breaks my property, and then somebody else acts as if they're an expert on guns; making me seem like some kind of idiot...' She thought bitterly to herself. "Now, if you'd excuse me, I'm off to give this guy a piece of my mind." She said to bring their conversation to a halt. She turned round on the spot into the right direction, stamping over the very gun she had been bent on protecting in the process. Alexis stormed over towards the bar with no rational thoughts entering her head. If this man was some kind of pirate, he was no doubt stronger than her. She knew very well that she couldn't hurt a fly with her strength alone. She was just hoping that their fight would turn into a long-ranged one where she (hopefully) would gain an advantage with her guns. Sure, the guns weren't as good as she'd want them to be, and she'd kill to get better ones, but they were her own and she had trained with them for many years. She was completely oblivious to the fact that the man from before was also heading to the same bar. All Alexis cared about was screaming at the guy who had annoyed the hell out of her. That was her main aim. She slammed the bar door open against the wall so it made a loud bang, announcing her entrance rather well. She stalked inside and slammed the door shut again, most probably onto some poor soul who was innocently trying to get in for a drink. Alexis couldn't care less at a time like this. She stomped across the wooden floor of the bar, her red high-heeled shoes making loud, clicking sounds as she walked. She looked round the bar, and when she didn't immediately find the man she had been looking for, a small frown found its way onto her face. 'I'm sure he came in here...' She thought and turned to the barman who was stood behind the bar and looking rather confused as to the red-head's seemingly meaningless anger. "Can I help you, missy?" The barman asked slowly, getting out a glass as if awaiting an order from Alexis. She looked at the man slammed her hands palms down onto the bar, making a smacking noise that made the barman flinch a little bit out of shock. "Has a man about this tall," she paused to make a gesture with her hand above her own height by rather a lot before carrying on, "enter the bar recently?" She asked impatiently. With no other physical appearance to go by, the poor barman looked rather taken back and confused. "I- I'm sorry, love. I can't go by just a height description." He said sheepishly and offered Alexis a glass of sake that he had poured. She downed the alcoholic beverage and placed the glass down again, sliding the correct amount of belli onto the bar. She looked around the bar better, checking all the seats. There were the typical alcoholic-type guys that would come for a drink early in the morning and not leave until they staggered home to throw up... so it was useless asking them since they were probably as drunk as lords by now. Finally; after looking a little harder around the first floor, Alexis spotted the man that she definitely recognised from before. "You!" She said loudly and in an accusing tone. The barman, obviously knowing something that Alexis didn't, blinked in shock and worry as the red-headed woman stalked across to where the man was making himself comfortable. "Did nobody ever teach you to respect other peoples' property?" Alexis growled, hands on hips as she glared down at the man. Even though she was small, she was given a small height advantage in this instance because the man was sat down. |

Sebastian sat quietly, his legs kicked up on the table, as he waited for the thieves to return to the bar. He spotted a few people come in all of which he thought would be the individuals he was looking for. However, when he looked to the bartender, he would only shake his head signaling that the thieves had yet to arrive. Sebastian wasn't to upset by this though, his hangover was starting to recede. He was starting to think more clearly the more he relaxed and was about to doze off when a loud slam roused him from his comfort. He lazily opened his eyes to see the red haired saleswoman entering the bar. Immediately Sebastian's headache return with a vengeance as the girl made such a loud ruckus as she made her way to the bartender. She made very little effort to hide what she was looking for as she spoke loudly. Sebastian slunk down a bit so that the girl wouldn't spot him, he rather not deal with the woman as he knew what she wanted. After her conversation with the bartender, she whipped around and scanned the room with her rather fierce green eyes. "Great, this isn't gonna end well," he said plainly as he brought his hand to his head in a pointless attempt to ease his headache. "You," the woman shouted loudly causing the entire bar to jump slightly from being startled. Almost all in the room followed her gaze to Sebastian, as he raised his brow pretending as if he had never seen this woman. The woman stomped loudly, each step like a drum going off in Sebastian head. "Did nobody ever teach you to respect other peoples' property?" Sebastian winced at every loud word that came from the woman's mouth. This was most certainly not a good thing, being that if the woman kept up this ruckus the thieves would notice upon entering and take off at the sight of Sebastian being here. "My apologies, I shouldn't have been so callous with your belongings," he said in a kind yet firm tone,"Why not have a seat and I will treat you to a meal as payment." With that he gestured to the barmaid to come over,"Good morning miss, I would like whatever the special is this morning. And get the lady whatever she wishes," Sebastian said giving the barmaid a charming smile,"Oh and tell the bartender to send over his special rum." The barmaid nodded and after taking the woman's order, if she order anything at all, went to the bartender who made a mug of his special rum. Sebastian already knew the effects of the rum as it was the cause of all this trouble he was in, he assumed the woman had never heard of the rum and would drink it down. With luck it should relax the woman so that so much attention would not be drawn to him. He turned to the young woman and actually got a decent look at her, she was a cut one aside from her loud mouth and ill temper. He gave a warm smile that made even his malicious yellow eyes seem welcoming,"I think I failed to introduce myself at our first meeting, Sebastian Tiberius Belmonte. And who might you be my aggressive friend." He hoped the woman would be subject to talking rather than yelling, he wasn't above hitting woman but as a preference he rather avoid it. Especially if they were as attractive as this young lady was. Edited by Bastian, Apr 6 2011, 06:11 PM.

Jin could have only guessed that they couldn’t see him through that window or they didn’t even bother to look that way when Bastian attacked the barkeeper. Jin made his way towards to the door to see the red headed girl that he pissed off recently make her own way to the bar. He grinned a little and grabbed the tip of the hood on his cloak. Jin flipped the hood over to fall on his shoulders. When Jin finally opened the door, he saw the man he was following sitting down and the barkeeper recently put a bandana over his forehead. He could hear the red head yelling to the man. The man introduced himself as Bastian. Jin thought to himself, Bastian, this may become an interesting encounter. Jin just remembered the red head had lost her temper and told him that she was a pirate. He knew that following Bastian had paid off by a lot. Jin unbuttoned his cloak and walked towards the table where Bastian and the lady sat at. A waitress came by to try and take an order from Jin, but Jin just waved her off. Jin was not much of drinker. He only drank on special occasions. Many people that knew him back at home said Jin was a little paranoid of what might be in the alcohol. Jin never wanted to take a risk. He went through this one occasion where he drank a few pints of beer which probably wasn’t the greatest idea in the world. Jin blacked out and when he woke up the next day; Jin lost everything in his pockets which didn’t have anything except about 1,000,000. Jin was celebrating selling his first few steel katana and made enough beli to celebrate and come home with enough money to keep the family’s blacksmith shop working. Jin decided to never make that mistake again. He was a light weight also when it came to alcohol. Fianally reaching the actual wooden table that the red head and Bastian sat at. Bastian looked a little stressed, but relieved at the same time. ”So how is everyone doing here? I hope I am not disturbing anything that important yet. May I take a seat here? Oh, my name is Jin Loze nice to meet you Bastian and um what’s your name? I heard your name from the door Bastian if you were wondering.” When Jin said the last two lines he started Bastian dead straight into the eyes. His yellows eyes were dangerous in Jin’s mind, but being around someone dangerous brings excitement. Jin has been looking for something to get into after landing at Loguetown. Jin also emphasized on the “yet”. Jin was looking for some kind of wince in Bastian’s eyes or mouth. Jin felt really nervous around Bastian and the red head. His hand would drift closely to katana’s hilt, but not enough to shine it towards Bastian and the red head girl. Jin already pissed one of them off; he wanted to avoid pissing off Bastian. |

(OOC: Sorry guys, rush post so i can get to work on time.) Asho smiled as he thought of a way be able to finally eat and drink at his age in the first floor of the bar without sneaking around. Asho fixed himself up, he ran his hands through his short blonde hair. Next he straighten his black blindfold that covered his eyes. Then he dust off his clothes, though there were no dust. In-fact this is as clean and tidy Asho been since ever. Last Asho checked on his katana he pulled it out of the scabbard, and the blade shine it was well polished. Asho place his katana and his scabbard, clenched his katana and walked over to the quickly growing group surrounding Sebastian Tiberius Belmonte. Asho noticed the bar to be more bustling then it was other mornings and afternoons. Asho almost arrived at the group of pirates/bounty hunters he couldn't tell. He knew it didn't matter his bounty was to small to be worth the effort to catch him and if they were pirates cool he finally found a crew to join... if they would have him. Asho was suddenly stopped by the bartender. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING HERE?!" "I CAN LOSE MY BAR IF THE MARINES SEE ME ALLOWING KIDS RUN AROUND IN HERE" the bartender shouted as spit flew out of his mouth and as his face turn red. Asho smiled again "Chill man I'm with Sebastian Tiberius Belmonte, you know the guy that kicked your ass earlier and I suggest if don't want it to happen again you will get me something to eat and drink". The bartender nodded and went away, Asho was unsure if he will come back with food or with trouble but he didn't care he was finally in the first floor bar. "Yo Sebastian Tiberius Belmonte long time no see" Asho said continuing to sell the lie. |

The man that Alexis had finally found didn't look overly happy to see her. Well, it was understandable. She was fuming mad and she looked as if she would rip apart something with her bare hands at the current moment in time, but still. He almost tried to hide himself. It was a good thing that Alexis spotted him. She was about to shout at him again, but that was when she was left with her mouth slightly open. He had apologised. Wow, that was easy! Wait... it was a bit too easy. She would comply for now, but only because she was curious as to why the man was suddenly so apologetic. She kept her angry gaze upon the man while she took a seat, kicking it back and sitting down with her arms folded across her chest. She raised an eyebrow when the barmaid came over and the man asked for the special of the day, whatever she wanted to order, and the special rum. 'Special rum, eh?... that sounds decent.' Alexis thought to herself. "I'll just have the special rum, whatever that is." She said, making sure to keep her tone stiff; as if hinting on her anger. By the time the drinks came to the table, she had actually calmed down. 'The guy seems sorry... especially since he's paying for me to drink.' She decided with a small shrug of her shoulders to nobody in particular. She heard him introduce himself, and then he asked her what her name was. She picked up the mug of rum that had been placed down in front of her by the barmaid literally at that second, and she swirled the contents round a little bit. "My name? Alexis Grace Juuno; if we're keeping the formalities. Just call me Alexis though. I hate my middle name, and my last name. Hell; I'd be happier if people called me anything else but my name." She said as she leant back comfortably in her seat. She had drunk about a quarter of the rum already, and it had gone straight to her head. Not eating and drinking strong alcohol straight off wasn't the best thing to do. The placed the rum back down on the table and leant forward again, resting her elbow on top of the table and placing her chin into her palm. Even if she had a terrible temper and rather ill manner at first, once that had subsided, she was actually a decent, fun person. She could be kind at a push too. All she wanted to do was make herself seem tough, like a pirate should be. That was all she was trying to achieve, in all honesty. Okay, her temper was something she couldn't help. She was easy to anger; a lot of people knew that. She turned her head when she saw the man from before join them, and it didn't really bother her how he managed to turn up. She smiled at him and waved a hand towards a random seat around the table. "Sure thing~" She said chirpily and drunk some more of the nice rum. "Mmm... this stuff's gooooood..." She said brightly as she placed it down again, about half of the rum gone by this point. "Hiiiiii, Jin... my name's Alexis... I can't be bothered to repeat my middle and last name, so ask Mr Bastian here..." She said, jabbing a thumb at the guy she had recently met. Alexis looked up lazily when she heard a kids' voice address Bastian. Her brow briefly furrowed in confusion. "You know this kid, Bastian?" She asked, sitting up again and shaking her head as if to try and shake herself out of the (almost) drunken stupour she was already in. "Well, hi, there, kiddo. Join the party! Take a seat!" She slurred happily. "My name's Alexis... great to meet ya... a friend of Bastian's is a friend of mine... since he pays for good drink..." She giggled softly and folded her arms on the table, placing her head comfortably on top of them and watching what was happening from a side angle. It was rather interesting for her now because she was tipsy, and she coudln't help but laugh softly about it. Hell, at least she wasn't pissed off anymore. |

Sebastian smiled as the woman introduced herself,"Well met, Redd," he said as the special rum was set upon the table. He was never good with names and often times he would simply nickname people things he could remember. The woman had red hair, clothing, and a fiery temper to match, Redd seemed fitting for her. Sebastian picked up his mug and brought the liquid to his lip but only pretended to drink it. He brought the mug down with a deep breath,"I will say one thing the barkeep knows how to make a good rum." He looked at Redd to see the rum was already taking affects, he gave it a few more hours and she would be out for the count. In the meantime he could feign being drunk, after all it was no difficult feat. He was about to ask a few questions about why she was in Loguetown, after all he could tell by the way she carried herself that she was no local. However before he could speak he noticed another person approaching. Sebastian glanced to the barkeep who shook his head, this person wasn't one of the thieves. The man had long gray hair and wore a cloak of some sort, apparently he must have felt familiar with Sebastian as he called him by the nickname his close friends and brothers called him. There was an urge to break the man's face, but he had to keep a low profile. "That's Sebastian to you, Gray," he said instantly nicknaming the name to something he could easily remember,"And remove your hand from your weapon, least one of us at this table gets hurt." Sebastian had seen the man's slight movement and the fact that the man was armed. It wasn't out of the ordinary for a man to be armed, but it was a bit suspicious that the man would sit down and held his weapon after giving such a civil introduction. The more he thought about it the more he began to get suspicious of Gray to the point he began to believe the man was in league with the thieves. It wouldn't be unlikely that the thieves hired this guy to try and get rid of Sebastian, being that the young thief he had been chasing got away. But before he could return to his questions yet another person showed up, this one being a kid that looked like he had yet to hit puberty yet. The kid pretended to know Sebastian, likely because the bartender was giving the lad a hard time. "Well isn't this turning into a party," he said shaking his head as he motioned for the boy to sit down. Sebastian was reminded of the days he and his brother used to sneak in bars to get a drink and would always get tossed out on their ass. If the kid wanted to get drunk, who was Sebastian to stop him from doing so. "Take a seat, Kid, here have a drink," he said sliding his own mug over to kid. "What's your name boy," he asked plainly. If Sebastian was suspicious before, he was almost on edge with it now. Two people he had yet to meet had took it upon themselves to come to hi stable uninvited and whats worst they both speak so loudly that half of Loguetown could have heard them call his name. Perhaps they were speaking so loudly because they were relaying a message to the thieves. Then again, the more he looked at the two men the more he was slowly deciding they were simply loudmouth fools. The kid simply overheard Sebastian's introduction to Redd and ran with the idea so that he could get a drink. Gray on the other hand was another story being that he came over and was on the defensive since he sat down. "Apparently this has turned into a part--," he had begun to say when several people walked into the bar. Sebastian facial expression changed as he glanced to the bartender, making it a point to not alert the individuals at his table. "A party," he said picking up where he left off. The bartender gave him a slight nod as Sebastian's eyes trailed slowly back to the thieves that were now in the bar. Four in all including the young thief that Sebastian saw earlier, and they all went to the second floor. Realizing he was dead silent, his smile returned and the sadistic look in his dark yellow eyes faded into a more calm and serene one. He could see one of the thieves near the balcony of the second floor and he seemed to be looking at someone, so much so he overlooked Sebastian completely. Having a large group at a table paid off as Sebastian wasn't drawing attention to himself. When the food was finally brought over by the barmaid, Sebastian brought her closer to him so that he could say something to her in secrecy. "Are there any windows on the second floor," he whispered in such a low tone that the barmaid hardly heard it. "No, Smoothie, why do you ask," she said not whispering in the slightest. "Tell the barkeep to lock the bar door and to close off the third floor," he whispered again. The barmaid was a bit shaken by this until Sebastian gave her a charming smile,"You have my thanks, love" he said as the woman blushed and walked off. The food in front of him was enough for to, but Sebastian only ate a little and shoved his plate away. He was aware of how suspicious he looked, but to be fair he hadn't really asked any at the table to be here in the first place so it wasn't as if he set a trap for them. He hoped that they were prone to rational thinking, then again he considered Redd's temper and Gray's caution and it was likely they would have questions. Something Sebastian was not gonna oblige either of them with as he only smiled at the group and waited for the bartender to do as he was told. Once the bar doors were closed and the barmaid went up to the third floor closing and locking the door that lead to it, Sebastian smile immediately faded from a calm one to a crooked smirk that could likely turn a person to stone with fear. "A pleasure meeting you all, your more than welcome to drink and eat on me. I have a little business to attend to," he said as he stood up and took off his blue jacket leaving on his black t-shirt and blue jean pants on. He folded the jacket and left it on the table as he made his way to the second floor in a casual fashion. Once at the top of the stairs the group still hadn't noticed him. They were all to engrossed in looking at their new target. Sebastian looked to see a lit candle on the nearby table which he picked it up, took aim and launched at the only one in the group with his back to the stairs. Sebastian had aimed for the center of the back but missed the mark and struck the neck of the man instead he shouted in pain. Sebastian immediately made his move and rushed the man he had hit and leaped in the air aiming to strike him in the back of the head with a flying knee. The man had turned only halfway around when the blow struck him square in the temple. The force of the attack sent both Sebastian and the man over the balcony and back to the first floor. Between the man's head hitting the floor and Sebastian knee increasing the force of the hit, the first thief was unconscious. Sebastian stood up and turned back around toward the group of thieves who now stood looking down from him at the balcony,"Which one of you bastards, took my ship," he said in a fierce tone,"Never mind scratch that, cause I am gonna kick all of your asses anyway." That said the three remaining thieves all decided to try and make a run for it each one running toward a different goal. One running for the third floor, one leaping from the balcony and making his way to the bar and the other went off the balcony as well though he made a run for the bar window. |

Fumes arose from the lit cigar, gradually rising into the air, each wisp churning about and creating oblique shapes, before dispersing into the air. The cigarette in the blonde-haired man's mouth did nothing to quell his urges, however, satisfying as the nicotine might be. His finger would flicker with the lighter in his pocket. It had been entertaining to watch that man, Sebastian as he was named, give punishment to that jackass of a man whom dared claim the title of "Bartender"- No real man whom claimed to the noble profession of producing alcoholic wonders in order to make a man slap-drunk would put up such a pitiful fight. It was despicable, really. The West-Blue Bartender had issue with many of the East Blue folks, prancing about and sloppily producing what they thought was the idea of a refreshing beverage. "Unforgivable..." He'd mutter under his breath. Despite his uniform, however, much to his dismay, he was not being employed here for his bar skills but for his simpler talents. "Unforgivable..." He'd repeat, grimacing. Julius Zavior snorted at the offer of the special rum. The stuff was third rate bargain slop, not worth being served to those with exquisite taste. While fine for the local brats and slobs, it was not worthy of being named "Special", save it's dissatisfying class. The spazzing inept Bartender seemed keen to serve the steadily growing group. While some of them seemed innocently enjoying a drink, Julius eyes were wary, detecting a certain rising pressure in the atmosphere. The air seemed dry and excitable, easily shattered. Instincts rarely betrayed him as he'd slip his hands out of his pockets, adjusting his sunglasses as he took a breath. His suspicions appeared to be correct as his caught the whispers of his female coworker to the jackass-of-a-Bartender. Julius wasted no time retrieving a bottle from beneath the counter, holding it by the neck of the bottle. "Showtime..." And like a bolt from blue, hell went and broke loose. Men scattered as the Sebastian man, whom he had privately dubbed the Sebastard, started up trouble. He'd have to thank the man later for giving him a bit of excitement. Like ducks running for their lives they split up, allowing a hungry wolf wearing a black vest to give chase. One of them sprang for the bar, perhaps intended to use it as a form of cover and take fire from behind it. Or maybe he just wanted one last bottle before the end. Julius didn't give him that chance, walking casually as the man ran towards the bar. The poor bastard didn't stand a chance as the bottle suddenly rose, shattering glass and liquid into the face of the man, causing the thief to scream in agony and fall to the ground in confusion. Julius didn't give pause, letting out a puff of smoke as he drew a stool, dragging it across the floor as he steadily approached the rest of the fleeing vermin. "Unforgivable..." He'd murmur again, this time a small smile covering his face. Today he'd finally earn that raise. Edited by Kara, Apr 7 2011, 06:50 PM.

Jin looked towards Sebastian and then to Alexis. Alexis was a little happy drunk, and it seemed she was a light weight when it came to this rum. Jin diverted his attention to the barkeeper and an apprentice to him. ”Sorry about calling you, Bastian. I guess Gray works for me.” Sebastian had seen Jin’s slight movement towards the hilt of his blade. Sebastian had told him to put the weapon down, but Jin just smirk that Sebastian could have easily seen a slight movement towards his blade. Not many people could see that within seconds that it happened. Jin regarded Sebastian with a tiny amount of respect and let his hand drift away from the white hilt under his cloak. Apparently Sebastian knew this kid that stood before them talking to him like they were family friends or crew mates. The table was getting filled. Alexis a drunken red head with a fiery temper, a kid who knows Sebastian but Sebastian didn’t know, Sebastian a cautious and dangerous man, and Jin stood at the table looking at each other. Sebastian looked uneasy and dangerous especially at this time. Sebastian was looking for something when his attention diverged to somewhere different. He asked the barmaid a few question and that made Jin even more suspicious of what the hell was going on. Jin didn’t bother to see what distracted Sebastian, but Jin could actually guess what was happening. 4 of the men from last night on the second floor watching over Sebastian entered the bar. They walked up to the second floor and planned their next scam on another boat captain. Sebastian walked up the stairs to find them and confront those thieves. Jin got ready for some action because the way Sebastian talked to Jin; Jin could tell that things will get nasty. ”Excuse me, but things may get really nasty in the next few minutes.” Sebastian sent one man flying to the ground with a knee to the temple. The other three started running for some of the exits. The barmaid with secret discretion already locked the major exits. One jumped down from the balcony almost falling down on his face and dashed for the bar. Another ran for the bar window that Jin had spied from in the very beginning. The third man ran some other way that Jin couldn’t see from, so Jin decided to go after the one running towards the window. Jin sprinted toward the thief from the back. He compressed his body and straightened out his left arm to close line the thief’s knees. The thief flew backwards with the back of his head hitting the floor of the bar. Jin quickly took out Trinity from his sheath and thrust the floor next to the man’s neck. The man screamed from both the pain of the backlash and the fear of the katana puncturing his throat. Jin put his foot on top of the thief’s chest to keep him down. Jin quickly turned his head to see the thief running towards the bar unconsciousness with lots of broken glass around him, and the cook was now dragging a wooden stool to hit all the thieves with. ”Sebastian didn’t mean too much of having my hand drift near my katana. It’s a habit to have now.” Jin took a look into the streets and all the people didn’t look inside the bar at all to see what the commotion was. Then switch his eyes to the remaining customers on the first floor of the bar, those customers didn’t really mind a small bar fight occurring. A little action in their drunken world would delight them. Edited by Nightbyte, Apr 10 2011, 08:06 AM.
