The two brothers were not pushovers. While the first man had a powerful gun he should take better aim. The shot got lodged in the man's shoulder but he went on with just a grunt. It hurt him enough to not use his right arm anymore though. He picked up the axe again and turned it to it's side. it covered most of his body now and he decided to charge the man as if he had a shield and would bash him with it... He couldn't pick it up properly anyway so this was the best he could do with one arm.

The other guy was in a bit of a better position. A one-handed sword versus a two-handed axe? either the guy was incredibly strong or incredibly cocky. turns out it was the latter. Though they matched each other in strength, his axe gave him some extra momentum. The swing was basically useless as the axe came down on the sword, the sword lost the clash. Maybe if the guy was lucky enough he could still hold onto it but otherwise it would fly somewhere behind him...

The second sword he did not expect. He was able to run his body just in time to avoid the fatal hit but still got a cut through his armour somewhat. With the slash on his torso and the man in his range he let go of the axe and tried to grab his wrist with his left hand and punch him with his right. A punch straight to the face. "On the Battlefield... There is no place for names..." he said while executing the move...

As the man charged, Marcus raised his pistol. He held his breath, watching the wall of metal and flesh rush towards him carefully. Time almost seemed to slow as he turned his weapon up and slightly to the right, lining up the iron sights on the weapon with the man's neck. Lined up, he exhaled and squeezed the trigger on his weapon. The loud gunshot muted the name of his technique, thankfully. Some small voice in his mind asked why he bothered, but Marcus payed it no attention-splitting focus in battle means death after all.

"Calm Before the Storm"

Knowing fully well the recoil on his weapon, he let it lift the barrel slightly enough to strike the man in his exposed head. He didn't stop to watch, though. He quickly rolls to the side, not stopping until he slams his shoulder into a barrel of peaches. He pulls himself into a seated position before looking to see if he'd hit or not. Without even looking, he opens the breech, fumbling for another round just in case.

He grit his teeth as the two blades crashed into each other, Ryan was strong but he wasn't strong enough to overcome the difference between a two handed axe and his sword and still hold onto it. The blade goes spinning off into the street landing upright sticking into the ground and not into any pedestrian who happen to be watching this spectacle. This is hardly a Battlefield more of a scuffle. he muses as he orients himself to only having one sword now.

As he drops the axe Ryan sighs thinking the guy has given up after taking one hit. Come on you have to have... He was cut off from finishing that sentence as he dodged the wrist grab though he wasn't fast enough to dodge the other attack and got punched square in the face knocking him back a few feet and disrupting his balance. he spit out some blood and a thin smile came to his face Well what do you know this place does have some interesting people after all, I thought I was gunna be bored. he said as he took a tight grip on the remaining sword in his possession. He got a running start back at the rude Axe-man before leaping up into the air at him and raising the katana above his head letting out a shout of Helm Splitter as he bring the sword down at the top man's head.

With the clumsy gunman aiming at him the man with the axe tried to hid even more behind it. As the bullet flew by the clumsy gunman had shot off the man's ponytail... Noticing this fact the man just stopped with a face of terror... That ponytail made him bond with the others... It took such a long time to grow it... the idiot would pay! He tried to cover his body as much as possible as he charged for the man again in a last whim of courage and pride...

The other Bounty hunter was bleeding from his chest but he did get a good punch in on the guy. The cut wasn't too deep, he'd make it... Next the guy was running at him trying to score a hit on his head with that thing. His head wasn't a peachmelon you could cut up in the summer? What was the man thinking!?! This man had no pride in his work. He was no warrior, he was a street brawler. Mister Large Axe number 2 sidestepped the move. he had some time even though the brawler was a tad faster than him. Taking a step sideways, he aimed a little sweepkick for the man's feet. If he would succeed the man would fall straight on his face as soon as he landed. He hled his arms up in case the guy pulled something funny. He could only guard in time though since he was unarmed right now...

Ryan laughed as the guy side stepped the attack maybe he wasn't as uncoordinated as he though. His blade hit the ground with a dull thump and our hero was crouched low to the ground on the follow through from that last attack he turned and saw the kick coming at him and he back flipped over the kick, landing on the man's axe. Noticing what he had landed on the fledgling bounty hunter get an evil idea and stabbed his sword into the ground for a moment, then he grabbed the axe and figured he's get one good swing with it raised it high above his head and let it drop right at the side of the large man before him letting the weight of the axe and gravity do all the work for him. You dropped this! he said with a chuckle

Marcus saw it as if it was in slow motion-the man covering himself with the axe had left his legs exposed. There was approximately one foot between them, two inch margin of error. At the speed he was barreling towards him he was off-balance, and unable to react quick enough. He put on a sadistic smirk as he tossed his weapon aside, then locked eyes with the charging man.

"No Escape!"

He reached for either pistol strapped to his boots and drew them quickly, keeping them both a foot apart from each other. As they reached knee height, he pulled both triggers simultaneously-and two bullets erupted from the barrels, rocketing towards the man's knees. If they hit, at his speed he should collapse to the ground where he'll be helpless. If they don't...

Not staying to see if the technique worked, he dropped both the other pistols, and rolled towards his larger "pistol." He picked it up as he rolled, his back hitting a wooden post that he flattened himself against, reaching for another round to load into his weapons dirty breach. He pushed himself up as he was loading, getting back onto his feet in about two seconds.

It seemed to be over for both of the brothers. The first man was in no position to dodge his own axe. All he could do right now was avoid the most serious damage... The used the last of his time to somewhat roll out of the blunt but got the axe smashed on his shoulder while trying to escape. he simply let out a grunt like a real man, even though he just might lose his arm after this... "Welldone... I admit defeat..." he said with his last concious moments.

The man on the other side, in his blind rage, didn't notice his knees were exposed. with the shots connecting he was indeed as helpless as a newborn lamb. the men fell on his face and dropped the axe in front of him. slowly his lower legs were starting to become numb. "I wonder... Will I dream?" he said before passing out.

Their big bro standing on the end of the road out of town was cringing. His group defeated by mere newcomers? Idiocy! Madness, foolishness, preposterous! "This ain't over!" He yelled before running off towards the sunset. Meanwhile Slim Slevin cowered from under his stall and packed in lightning-speed. "Well, that's all the time I have for today, I'll be taking my leave~." he said as tried to follow the third bounty hunter... He hoped the fighting made the two men who saved him forget about the original point but it didn't seem like it...

Panting lightly from exhaustion, Marcus loaded the round into his large weapon and locked the breech shut, before leveling it at Slevin. He pulled the hammer back with his thumb, which caused a soft yet noticeable clicking sound. Like hell he was letting his mark get away after having to deal with this brute. "Not so fast, Mr. Slevin. We've got business with you ourselves. Oh, and don't try running. I'd rather not kill you... but I will."

Five thousand beli sounds fair for rescuing him... then, we'll take him to the mayor and see what he's actually worth. Marcus thought to himself as he gestured for Slevin to return to his stand with his free hand. As he did, he walked backwards towards his other weapons, and placed them back in their boot holsters. He made a note to reload them later, when he wasn't busy holding someone up. I can't forget, though. Don't want to have another charging brute come at me and have the weapons empty, after all. It was while he was doing this that he noticed Ryuzaki's arm was bleeding, though as he noticed it didn't seem like Ryuzaki had even noticed himself. He turned and called out to the man, "Ryan! I have bandages on my boat, I'll see what I can do about that later." Marcus had worked as a doctor's assistant for a few years, so he had some medical experience... hopefully enough, he thought.

"That was fun, a good was to start an adventure." He said with a grin as the man he was fighting lost consciousness. He then dropped the axe and collected his swords from there places stabbed in the ground, and looked over to Marcus as he called out his name "Bandages...I got pun-ohhh now I see it" Ryuzaki looks over to his bleeding wrist wonder how he went through that entire fight and didn't notice, he shrugged and walked over to Marcus and Mr. Slevin holding his hands behind his head nad his elbows out the the side taking a look around at the people in the town and annouces in a happy tone "It's alright everyone the situation is under control. you may resume your daily activities" He then turn to Mr. Slevin "Now while I did have fun, I can't exactly go without getting at least some food money" Ryuzaki held out one hand and moved his fingers towards him a couple times the universal sign for pay me.

I wonder how much this guy has on him...it can't be that much...but I need food and spices and herbs and sauces...mmmm...
Ryuzaki's mind began to wander but his eye remained trained on Slevin and the hand that wasn't out stretched fell down to the hilt of a katana. Who where those guys anyway...they didn't give us a name but then again big guys with axes are a dime a dozen, all raw power no skill. he nodded for what seemed like no reason then snapped out of this and refocused on the task at hand looking to Marcus then back to Slevin, looking for a hint on what to do he was never really good at the post battle part.

Slim Slevin froze into place as he head the hammer being pulled back. He swallowed his spit loudly and turned around again. "Come now gentlemen you don't expect me to leave you like that ahahaha..." he said on a somewhat nervous tone... He was sweating bullets now and really didn't want to stay in a town that hated his guts. "Look gentlemen, I'm sure we can come to an agreement. I have more then enough money to double my 'bounty's' worth." he said. He really felt uneasy.

Meanwhile the crowd was getting uneasy too. On edge one could say... The people of the small town were starting to shout cries at the men who emerged victorious. "Just take him to the mayor! Let him rot in a jailcell!" was the average citizen's thought. Slim seeing he was down on his luck lower his shoulders and chin somewhat. Was he really going to rot in a jailcell because of lemonade sales?!? Well it seemed like it unless those two men were ready to take on an angry mob of a town... The man embraced his fate and shrugged.

Suddenly the dockmaster came out of the crowd with a familiar bag. He dropped it in front of Marcus. "Oi, mate... Your dingy... Let's say it's resting at the bottom of the beach, kay? it Seemed you had a small hole or something in it..." the man said in a somewhat disappointed voice. He then reached in his pocket and dropped a small bag of coins on top of the larger bag that seemed to belong to Marcus. It was probably the fee he paid to keep his boat in the docks... "Good Day~" the man said tipping his hat and walked back to his station.
