As they moved through the crowd, Dwayne realised the issue was bigger then he could imagine. It seemed as if the entire island was about to go down in a spiral of crime and fighting. The Crowd weren't all pirates, there were also some mothers with children and fathers holding guns. The speech seemed to have motivated crimes... Now that he tought of it, Loguetown had one of the largest marine bases in the East Blue. So where were they? The Marines were more then capable of stepping down from their pedestal to help out to surpress an outbreak of anarchistic crime. Yet they seemed to not want to do anything. Dwayne sighed and kept making his way through the crowd with the boy and Ella. All of this was just a bad dream right? He could wake up any moment now and live his life with his friends and family. He would go on to be the world's greatset musician... If only it were true... "Tell me, how far is the doctor's office?" he asked the boy but was interupted by the man he had shot in the foot earlier. "Just peachy... What do you want this time? I'm kind of in a hurry." he said on a dry tone. He really didn't want to deal with this guy right now especially not in front of fifty or more people. One wrong action could set off a chain of bad reactions. In the end, it seemed as if Loguetown would be doomed. He tought of a few strategies to deal with the guy and after a brief moment he figured out how he would handle this. Suddenly a shot was fired in the distance. Dwayne couldn't really tell where it came from but was not exited to hear it. after the shot was fired he spoke towards Gou and Ella: "You two go ahead... I'll try to catch up once I deal with this... Oh and might I have my gun back? Just in case." he then turned his attention towards the oranged haired man who seemed to be stalking him with his ideas. Revolutionary or not this all seemed like madness... Dwayne had an emotionless expression on his face as he then spoke towards the man: "Are you happy? Becuase I believe you achieved your goal. People running wild, causing trouble with not a marine in sight... A perfect picture of Anarchy if I were to judge... Don't you see that this also causes innocent lives to be lost aswel? What about the families living a peacefull life thanks to the World Goverment? Ever tought of the kids and housewives? Ever tought about the poor people? Ever tought about the working man! No! Peoples' lives are stable because of the protection of the World Goverment!" Dwayne was yelling near the end. "I hope you are happy... Because I am not." he said while calming down. Dwayne hoped it wold all be over soon... Meanwhile Ella was trying to drag Gou out of the crowd. "C'mon Gou, he can handle himself... We should get out of here before something bad happens.". She was still worried about Dwayne but then again, he had been in a fight before... |

Anarchy was the last thing on Gou’s mind survival was the first, he was far from happy with the situation at hand, and the marines seemed inactive at this point. Where were they, was the only thought that ran through his mind as his body was dragged away by the young woman. He hadn’t even given the man back his gun yet, he feared what he would do with it, or if the orange haired man would be alive by the time Gou and Ella left Dwayne’s sight. He pulled out the weapon and tossed it toward the man allowing it to drop unhindered by his feet. Dwayne was right the town had become chaotic in a matter of moments for no reason other than a speech it was ridiculous. More shots continued to spray from the crowd. They were loud and rang in the boy’s ears as he made his way through tide of people. He was beginning to get flustered and his ears were ringing, the shots were ringing in his ear and reminded him of rifles. The man with the orange hair stared down the man, he realized that this was his playground he could not be hurt here without the man being hurt himself, but he also realized that the man with the gun was neither a coward nor a fool, this would serve interesting. He didn’t care for the innocent as in his eyes no one was innocent. The men and women who were hurt were those who deserved to be the only one who truly held relevance was himself and that was the way the world was supposed to work. To look out for self seemed the safest and overall best plan to him. “They came of their own free will.” It was short but it would suffice, they had made the decision to hear the speech regardless of whether they were aware of the consequences all the smart ones would have left as soon as they heard the term anarchy. Those who stayed in chaos longed for it and those who didn’t were intelligent enough to see ahead. The orange haired man limped closer and only turned his head at the sound of incoming bullets. The barrage of shots were spraying out at a rather alarming rate and even though he longed for chaos he did not want to be near it when it occurred especially if it meant he could be hurt. He did not want to be seen as the cause of the riot though he was sure that he would be blamed at some point. Dirty hands always made for harder living. He stepped back and tried to get away from the incoming bullets he knew he would be hit if he didn’t. A stray bullet shot above Dwayne’s head only a few inches away from his head and the orange haired man had a grimacing frown on his face, he maintained some form of calm but the shift in his expression was enough to let anyone know he was not at ease. |

As Gou tossed the gun, Dwayne picked it up and checked if it was still okay. It seemed fine but only a shot could tell if it was functioning properly... The Orange haired man ticked him off before and was not exactly all that clear now. Dwayne couldn't get what the guy wanted from him. This chaos wasn't really helping his tought process either. Bullets were flying al around now and just as that one fatefull shot missed him by a hair it gave him some insight in the man. Dwayne didn't flinch at all as the shot passedand and it's way into a wall of a bulding lateron. Thankfully it didn't hurt anyone. Dwayne took a few steps forward with his gun still in hand. "Free will? is that how you describe brainwashing the weakwilled? If it weren't for that motivational speech of yours, this day would be as peacefull as the one before it. Granted, I fed the fire aswel when I first stepped in. But there's one thing you just don't seem to care about... Something money can't buy... Human lives, perhaps?". Dwayne now stood right in front of the man close enough to be in his breathing area. "It doesn't seem that you have a grasp on the situation either since you could have been shot again just now. This time not by my gun, and most likely in a more vital part of your body. I warned you before now didn't I? The thing is that I'm no hero, nor I am a villain. I can't save these people and stop the chaos." he said in silent and calm tone when he was close to him. Dwayne walked off in the direction Gou and Ella were heading and holstered his gun. "My biggest mistake was meddling in all of this... It's always my problem... I'm trying to be a hero, while I'm not..." he said as he casually left the scene for what it was. He had spilled too much blood already. Two lives he had taken in a coldhearted manner... Two lives to spare two other lives? It seemed like a fair trade at the time but then again it wasn't even sure if Ella and Gou would die... There would be no more deaths by his hand today. "I'm leaving this Island... Before it plunges into the bowels of Purgatory..." he said as he made his way through the crowd and walked on in town. The streets were violent with people breaking in eachothers houses, others starting fires. The owners tried to defend their property but were quickly beaten into place by mobs. A civil riot was the only description fot for it now. Innocent lives went to waiste with each step Dwayne took in that town, but he wasn't the hero the people were waiting for... Gou and Ella were probably already at the doctor's place, so Dwayne walked casually through the chaos, smoking a cigarette. Suddenly a thug ran up to him with a knife: "Hand over the valuebles you have!" he yelled as he made stabbing motions with his knife. He looked like a typical run-off-the-mill criminal to Dwayne and so he didn't even bother with looking at him more detail... He drew his gun before the man could react and placed it on the thug's chin. "How about you move along and we both forget this ever happend?" he said. The man gulped and ran off in towards the plaza. "Now then... Where was that doctor at... He never did say where the office was or whatever... Guess I'll stick around here for a while...". Dwayne took a seat and relaxed for a while. It seems the action was being drawn to the plaza so the street was getting increasingly empty as time passed. Edited by GlasgowSmiley, Mar 20 2011, 10:22 AM.

Dwayne was a grown man who could take care of himself, but Ella was a little less self sufficient than he was, at least in Gou’s eyes. She had done enough to handle herself, but she still needed the man to protect her for some reason or another. He had completely forgotten about the doctor when the bullets started flying, his focus was on protecting the girl, and everything else could wait. He held her hand as he made his way through the crowd. He couldn’t help but notice that Ella occasionally turned her head back in Dwayne’s direction every few steps or so, she really did care about him criminal or not. “Why do you care about him so much?” he wasn’t sure if she could hear him through the loud screams of the crowd or the even louder sounds of gunfire. Gou had figured that the marines hadn’t actually left, they had just waited for the man to finish the speech as detaining him would only cause a riot, how they thought firing in a crowd would do any better was beyond him, perhaps it was a misfire. Regardless the initial shot was what still started this whole thing. He turned his head to Ella to see if she was actually saying and noticed a man walking around with a knife heading in their direction. “Shit.” They were about a half a mile from the docks and the crowds had cleared out for the most part, still their voices echoed through the spaces where they weren’t. Gou had rushed Ella into a backstreet something which at the time seemed like a good decision, less crowds and smaller spaces meant less likelihood of either of them getting hurt, but there was still the chance that a random delinquent such as the knife wielding man would try to take advantage of the chaos and the lack of people. Gou’s grip tightened around the girls hand as he tugged her closer to him and began to run. He was thinking more off fear than logically, criminals were like dogs they wouldn’t mess with you until they sensed fear and running was a clear sign of it, or at least you trying to hide something they wanted. The man with the knife eyes raised as the duo rushed through the back alleys, a smirk came onto his face, he had just ran into a man with a gun and he needed something to make up for his loss after all he had gotten nothing all day. The thug picked up the pace and ran letting the sound of his feet slamming against the cobblestone mix in with the echoes of the far off crowd. He ran at the speed you would expect someone who would snatch purses and run every day would run at. He was catching up to them at a rather good pace and Gou had yet to tell Ella why it was that they were running. Even with the bodyguard she was willing to fight the random large men inside of the saloon and he was sure that if he told her she would stop and try to fight this guy, but the focus was to escape and that was what they were going to do. Gou ran forward tugging the girl behind him with every step and made a sharp right turn. Luckily he had lived in Logue all his life and the structure of the island hadn’t changed in the time that he had been in his house. He looked back as he neared the end of the strip and rushed to the outside only to see the thug in hot pursuit. Gou frowned as he ran down looking toward the dock which was only a few blocks distance away, he lacked a boat or any navigational skills, but he was going to get off the island and the dock seemed to be the only way to do that without a really gigantic bird. |

Gou had been running through the streets in an unpredictable manner. Either he didn't know the way, or he was running in panic. Either way something was off.He had asked Ella the question of why she cared so much for a good for nothing pianist but that answer was simple. "I still have a debt to repay to him. If he dies, I won't be able to do that..." she answered somewhat sad. He tugged her towards him and sped up again for no particular reason. He did curse just now so he probably knew something more then her. "We aren't really heading to a doctor now, huh?" she said as they ran through some backstreets. as soon as the docks came in sight Ella was becoming tired. She was no athlete and all this running was starting to take it's toll. "Hey... *huff* Hold up... *puff* I can't keep up this pace..." she said as she tried to let go of Gou's hand. It's not like she was some kind of superhuman... She stopped running and was now leaning on her knees breathing heavily. The man had caught up to her and saw the perfect opportunity... Ella however was unaware until they were chased untill it was too late. The man grabbed her from behind and placed the knife at her neck. "Seems it's my lucky day! GwiiiiiiiiHihihi!" the man shouted as he twisted Ella's arm to make sure she wouldn't escape the grab. She cried it out in pain... "Now hand over whatever valubles you have kid! Gwiiiiiiiihihihihihihi!!!" The thug seemed to be enjoying it and tightened his grip even more though it was completely unnecessary making the poor girl scream it out in pain... "What's wrong? Does it hurt? Gwiiiiiihihihi! Then hurry up with them valu-What the...". The thug froze still and was unable to finish his sentence for whatever reason. Suddenly a trigger was pulled and a shot was fired. The bullet passed through the thug's brain and flew off in the direction of the sea. He let go of Ella and fell down lifelessly in order to bleed out on the stone pavement of Loguetown... Dwayne had finished his smoke and was starting to get worried. This was the main street so why didn't he encounter them? The docks were a short minute away... Perhaps the doctor was taking his time or something like that? At least that was what Dwayne was hoping for... Dwayne decided to walk off towards the docks to perhaps charter a ship somewhere. In this case it would most likely end up in commandeering a ship. As he left the main street the docks were in sight to his left and so he continued his walk. Suddenly Gou and Ella reappeared before him but so did the thug with the knife. Dwayne picked up his pace to a running one and drew his gun already. This seemed serious and he wasn't going to have that Thug have his way. After a while Ella seemed to give on running and ended up in a hostage situation. By the time Dwayne could catch up the Thug had her in a hostage situation. As she screamed it out in pain Dwayne ran up to the thug's back and placed the barrel of his gun to the back of his head. The thug didn't even notice him over his own enjoyment. Dwayne pulled the trigger and ended it all. "I'm sorry... Seems I have another notch carved in my soul..." he said as he put the gun away. His look was emotionless to say the least. Ella fell down too and Dwayne helped her up shortly afterwards. "Are you okay?" he asked them both in a casual tone. Ella got up dusted off her waitress uniform ad smacked Dwayne in the face. Dwayne fell on the ground and was rubbing his cheek. "What took you so long!" she yelled at him with tears in her eyes. "I tought I was gonna die you-!". Dwayne got up again and gave her a hug. "Don't worry... I'm here now. Relax. it should all be over soon..." he answered silently. Ella first burst out in tears and then hugged him back. They stood there for just a little less then a minute, listening to the sounds of chaos coming from the center of the town. After the hug they both let go and Ella rubbed off her tears. "We should go now. Finding a doctor who's open for buissnes and is safe from this commotion could prove a very hard task... Let's find a boat and get off this Island... You won't make it to the next Island like this though..." Dwayne said as he rubbed the back of his head. The situation was looking grim. They need a doctor fast and a way off the Island aswel... For that to happen they needed to find a doctor who was in fact a travelling doctor with his own ship but what are the odds of finding someone like that right now? Another had died at the hand of the depressed pianist, it hadn’t even been a day yet and he was not able to keep his promise. He was trying not to hurt the thug by running, but the man was obviously one who could only think offensively. It made sense that the man would shoot the hoodlum, perhaps if the boy were a bit more forceful he would have done the same. Still the stench of fresh blood made his stomach wrench and the sight of the hole in the man’s head sent a shiver down his spine. He stood still and watched at this demented antihero cradled the girl like a father would their daughter. It had confused Gou when Ella answered his question, what obligation would keep someone with such a deranged individual was beyond him at the time, but it now made perfect sense. He had rescued the girl on two accounts while Gou couldn’t save her once. Though his methods were rash at best the goal was still accomplished he would always save her. Gou’s head dropped down toward the floor, not only had he kept the girl from getting hurt he had allowed her to witness another death while he was there, he was much less of a hero than the man with the smoking gun. The sounds of the crowd echoed throughout the entire town, the marines were in there somewhere and would eventually quell the catastrophe there problem was finding a proper doctor to handle their issue and getting away from it. Gou lifted his head from the ground and sighed, he was still a kid at heart and not being able to be the hero stuck pines in his chest. He turned around deciding not to acknowledge what just happened to avoid being chewed out by Dwayne and to look like an even bigger fool than he had already made himself. Instead he would make his way to the dock. He decided to walk seeing as there was no sense in running anymore or having his mouth bleed any more than it already had been. He knew with all the leakage he would probably pass out soon and when that happened he feared what would happen to him in his sleep. Death after release would be a horrible fate for a young man of eighteen. His eyes shifted over toward the ships by the pier sadly none of them had any signs that would indicate that there were medical boats, but then again he just needed a doctor not a whole boat of specialist. He was pretty sure that if given enough time he could sew up his lip himself, it might hurt but it was better than bleeding out until he died. He made his way toward a five man carrier ship with a pirate flag flying high. It occurred that the ship he was boarding would be filled with pirates or at least have a criminal on it, but it also occurred to him that a crew of miscreants would be much more likely to carry a doctor on it than a sales ship or the boat of a fisherman, after all a pirate was much more likely to be hurt. Surprisingly no one was on the deck when he made his way on to the ship’s deck. “Hello!” he made his way toward the aft of the ship and noticed a small latch in the back, he didn’t want to just bust into their ship hopefully they would be the kind of pirates that don’t just kill any random stranger, though it was probably more likely that the majority of the pirates were fighting the marines in the town, but hopefully at least one ship would have a crewman on it. He stomped his foot on the latch in hopes of drawing someone up from below. After a few stomps a shot broke out from below the deck and slammed right into Gou’s foot only to ricochet off back down. More shots rang up all of which hit their mark only to be sent off in a random direction. Gou jumped back from the latch, but the bullets continued to pour out from behind the latch. Five bullets had hit his body and went flying off in different directions. “Hello!” unlike the bar or the alley Dwayne's constant ability to shoot any random criminal made him nearly indifferent about being hurt. A man in a scraggy brown coat that resembled a bear crept out from the stair case with a flintlock pistol in one hand a revolver in the other. “You’re not dead yet?” the man asked in a rugged voice that hinted at confusion. The man’s eyes shifted toward Dwayne and Ella (if they were on the boat) and he snorted before pointing the pistol in their direction while keeping the flint lock locked on Gou. “What do you want.” Gou frowned and wiped the blood from his lip before speaking, “Are you a doctor?” the man looked at Gou with a smirk. He was wearing bear fur while dual wielding two guns and had just been asked if he was a doctor, it seemed like an awkward question. “I know I just shot you and I don’t miss. You don’t need a damn doctor if you’re not even bleeding from getting shot. The man turned his head toward Dwayne and Ella and shook his head “And what do you want.” He let his finger slip down on the trigger and released a shot on the side of the man’s head as a warning. None of them had a right to be on his ship without permission and the only reason he hadn’t shot these people is because the last person he shot didn’t seem to be hurt by bullets. He figured if you can’t kill them with bullets scare them with bullets, it was just matter of whether the man actually had any fear in his heart. Edited by Clarity, Mar 25 2011, 08:41 PM.

"Is it really a good idea to walk on a pirate ship?" Dwayne asked as Gou went on to explore. Not that he was doing something wrong, chances are the ship has a doctor. Pirates, or at least the smart ones, try to keep one around in case someone gets hurt in a fight. Dwayne finished up his newly lit cigarette and decided to go along with Gou. Ella decided to follow them but was put at a halt when they arrived at the latch. "I don't want you to go down there." Dwayne said as he turned around. "It'll be fine... The ship's deserted anyways..." Ella said in a moping tone. "I'll never get a break from this, huh... Please you could have died just now. Just stay here and shout if you hear or see anything suspicious.". The girl however didn't give in and shook her head in a fierce no. "Everytime things go wrong you end up some place else... This time I'm sticking around!" she said. Ella seemed angry but it was her seriousness acting up. "*sigh* Fine..." Dwayne said and climbed down aswel. Shortly after a bunch of shots were fired at Gou. The kid was really made out of some kind of rubber. The shots just ricochetted into the hull of the ship. "This just proved it... Either he's a human born with a rubber body or he ate a Devil fruit. The latter seems more likely..." Dwayne said as he rubbed his chin in a thinking motion. It seemed the shots were fired by a bearman of sorts. Another Devil fruit user? No... It was just a coat out of bear fur... Or was it? One shot flew just past Dwayne's left ear. Ella was a little scared by it and grabbed his right arm as a reaction. Dwayne however didn't really flinch much. He was rather annoyed. "Please... can we do this without me becoming deaf? It would be quite hard to enjoy music when you can't hear anything... He said as he rubbed his ear. "Now then... Are you a Doctor or not?" He asked in a serious tone. The day was becoming a pain... He didn't really feel like sticking around much longer on this Island... "This young man needs help with a knife wound. Can you fix it or are we moving on again?". Dwayne was serious. Not that he was keeping a pokerface as a facade but they didn't have much more time to waist. It wouldn't be long before the marines contained the situation at the town and start looking for stranglers on it's outskirts. And they were just in that danger zone... |

The man looked up toward the man and smirked, he was unmoved, which was admirable, but also a nuisance. He put the blunderbuss down and slipped it into a small pouch on his hip. He then looked toward the boy who was bleeding from his mouth and at the woman. "I'll fix him up for a price. He kept his finger on the pistol and let his eyes trail over the woman's body before grinning. "Give me the girl, that's the price." He stared at her like a wolf would a steak. Gou looked toward the man with a slanted brow, he doubted that after everything Dwayne had done for the girl he would offer her up like a bargaining chip. He took a step forward, a loud sound that rivaled thunder burst from the barrel of the man's pistol. The bullet bounced off his body and slammed into the hull of the ship. "Shit." the man with the bear skin rug shook his head and took a step back. "How about you take me instead." Gou tried to maintain his composure as blood trickled down from his lips. The man gave the boy the once over and turned his eyes back toward the boy, "Sorry lad, but I aint that typa pirate." Gou stared blankly at the man, he didn't realize what he was implying, but he knew that it was still a rejection none the less. "Why not, I can be a hard worker and if you want you can use me as a human shield or something?" the man mulled over the proposition and then looked toward Dwayne, wondering if he was the same as the other man. He decided to test it. He pulled out the pistol in his belt and sent a shot toward the man's shoulder. Though he had said nothing about his profession, he was indeed a doctor and would be able to not only remove the bullet, but dress the man's wound as well. He brought his knee up toward the boy's crotch that stood directly in front of him. As his knee shot up he took the blunderbuss and pointed it toward the girl to make sure she didn't do anything stupid. Surprisingly his knee didn't stop at the boy's crotch, but had actually shot up into the boy's body stretching it from below. Caught off guard by this the man only stood still and had even dropped the gun in his other hand. Gou felt the pain, but it was luckily quelled more by the fruit than his own pain tolerance, the elasticity of his skin had served as a pretty good defense that he would have to look into eventually. He took his hand and quickly balled it into a fist and slammed into the man's face. The man fell down on his butt and looked up at the boy. "Listen dammit we don't have time for this, now fix his damn wounds and fix mines , then your going to get us the fuck off this island and if you have a problem I'm taking your damn gun and shooting you." He had had enough and for the first time since entering the cafe decided to take the offensive. He stared down at the man with eyes filled with frustration and blood still pouring from the side of his lip. |

A trade... One person for another's wellbeing... "I'd rather die than give up on Ella..." he said as looked towards the ground. If he gave up on her now, all which they had been doing together would be pointless. Dwayne wasn't even planning on considering this trade. Everything in his body pointed towards no. When Gou offered himself in exchange, the man's response was a clear answer to what Dwayne had suspected. Everyone is out for personal gain in a chaos like this... Suddenly the man made a move and decided to assault him and Gou. It all went so fast, it was all over when Dwayne had a bullet launched in his shoulder. The bear man was knocked down and it seems Gou was not taking this situation lightly either... Dwayne grabbed his shoulder with his right hand and fell down on his knees. The pain was pretty bad but he tried his best to limit it to only a few grunts... He had to use the arm Ella was holding to hold down the bleeding which told her that this shot was no bluff... The girl crouched down aswel, with tears in her eyes. First he was killing to save her, and now his own life was on the line for her's... Dwayne saw she was about to burst out again like a while back on that street. He shook his head slightly and spoke lightly to her: "It's okay, I told you everything would be fine. Trust me it will... Ugh... That man is going to fix us up and we're just going to leave this island before the day ends...". Dwayne spoke calmly. Getting agitated at this point was not exactly the best action. Killing the man was certainly no solution. Whether he was a doctor or not, he was their best chance on getting treatment right now. "Do you know what the worst part about this is? This is my favourite shirt..." Dwayne joked for the first time today. and it seems he lighted Ella's mood a little. She put her head on his other shoulder and smiled as the tears came down slowly over her cheeks. "You're an Idiot..." she said in a whisper. The man looking with a shocked face at Gou was a perfect opportunity to prepare for a counter. Sadly Dwayne was missing an arm to draw his own gun and releasing his shoulder would only worsen the situation... The smell of iron filled the air around him... That typical blood smell and taste in his mouth was not one of his favourites... The bear man was in a pinch. Negotiating with these people didn't really give any results. Now the question still was whether the man was a doctor or not. Things were happening fast and that piece of information could provide their only source of relief. "I'll ask again... Are you a doctor or not? Because I'm in need of a person with that certain profession." he said as he raised his head. His look was becoming more tired as time passed but it was only natural considering he was just shot. |

The man looked up from the floor with his back against the rug. He had not expected the situation to turn the way it did, but then again greed had a way of clouding a man's judgment. He wanted some new crew members as he had been sound enough to reason that with the man's anarchy speech they would wind up being either killed or captured, that was the fate of a crewman who possessed the mind of a sheep and a crew that followed the whim of any wayward shepherd like a brainless flock. Sadly this lot had a bit more intelligence than the average cronies and perhaps a few more talents. "Yes I'm a doctor." the man called up in a raspy voice as his greed gave in to his urge to survive. He scowled while the man tried to console the woman who was on the brink of crying, while still dealing with his own bullet wound. It made him feel rather annoying that the man was more focused on finding out whether he was a doctor than whether or not he would actually give them treatment, he made it seem like there was no choice in the matter. He was sure that he would have to if he was going to live, but it made him feel out of whack when he was not the one in control. Gou took the gun and pointed it toward his nose, "Then fix him." him, he reached his hand down and gripped his collar, he was trying to pull the man's weight up, but he was to heavy. "Get up." the order was backed by a stern voice. The man got up from the ground, "I'll need my kit and at least some sterile pliers to remove the bullet." the man looked over toward Dwayne and scowled, he was sure now that only the boy with the gun could bounce off bullets, that was reassuring, even if he was going to have to dress off the mans wounds at least he wouldn't be facing to inhuman vigilantes. "So where are you going kid?" Gou shifted his eyes to the man and glared, "Focus on him right now."

Gou was stepping up his game and put the doctor pirate into action. Dwayne knew he wouldn't kill the man, he was too nice for that. But that's not information someone like the bearman doctor should know. As the man grabbed for his tools and started preparing, Dwayne took a seat at the nearest table. "Ella, Can you help me remove my shirt and jacket..." he asked as he took a seat. The girl nodded and helped him unbutton the shirt and to slowly removing the clothes blocking the wound. The doctor should have no problem tending to it now. As the man prepared to remove the bullet Dwayne glared at him. "Don't try anything funny..." he said. The man swallowed loudly and started removing the bullet. Ella took his jacket and shirt and went upstairs for some fresh air. She knew for herself she couldn't handle the doctor doing something inside someone's shoulder. Let alone the fact he was going to stich up someone's face like a piece of clothing later on... She shuddered a little as she got upstairs. Back on the deck she took a look at the clothes. They were hardly repairable... Dwayne did have some spare shirts and should be fine. stadnign at the edge of the ship she looked towards the ocean, thinking of how the day could have gone by... Back inside the ship Dwayne was biting his hand as a sedative for the pain of the pincers fiddling inside his shoulder. The beardoctor removed the bullet fairly quickly but it was pretty deep to begin with. As the bullet was pulled out Dwayne outed a grunt of pain and was breathing heavily. It wasn't over yet as the man began to clean the wound. Ella was right not to stay there since the facial expressions Dwayne was making were enough to scare some people. People like Ella for example. The man patched him up and bandaged up the wound aswel. "Alright... I applied some medicine there too for the wound to heal cleaner..." the man said as he binded a cloth around Dwayne's body to keep his left arm into place. "Don't stress yourself for now, okay?" he said as he finished up. "I wasn't really planning to. Thanks." Dwayne said as he got up. "I'm going to get some fresh air..." he said as he went towards the stairs of the latch only to realise he would have some trouble getting up... Getting up Slowly with one hand as his support he made it back up on the deck. The doctor shook his head... He knew he couldn't man this ship on his own out of the harbor so a good understanding with everyone would be fine for now. They didn't seem like bad people anyway... And if he didn't help them they would just end up dead. "Now then... Next?" he asked the boy. Dwayne walked up to Ella smiling a little. "See? Everything turned out fine." he said. The girl rolled her eyes as she saw most of his upper body in bandages with with some thicker parts at his left shoulder. "Depends on what you consider 'fine' but sure, let's call it that then..." she said as she grabbed her backpack and pulled out a spare shirt. This one was blue. Dwayne just let it rest on his shoulders. "I know you hate this question but can I ahve a smoke?" he aksed. Ella shook her head and smiled. "This... Is an exeption. Don't think you'll get one next time..." she said as she put the cigarette in his mouth and lit it. Dwayne was sort of annoyed... "What Would I do without a nurse like you, huh?". The two of them smiled and Ella hugged him again as they watched towards the horizon. Meanwhile the doctor had stitched and cleaned up Gou's wound. "Well... That's all I can do... I'm sorry kid but the wound is too serious to just heal up like any other, this one will leave a scar..." he said as he cleaned up his hands. "Don't stretch your face, rubberboy or the stitches might pop..." he said as he got up from his little workstation and wiped his hands with a cloth before washing them in a basin of water. The man didn't look like it but was a serious doctor. He went up on the latch and greeted the pair looking off into the sunset. "I'm guessing you don't plan on staying here?" the man asked. Dwayne turned around and pointed a gun at the man. "Indeed we don't... Now then... Set sail for the nearest Island..." he said as he pulled back the safety. The man raised his arms and sighed... He could have seen this coming though. It didn't matter since he was leaving anyway. "Aye aye, Captain..." he siad as he went to prepare the ship for open waters. After a little while they set sail and loguetown was becoming a far off dream... "Ella, this is the last time I visit that damned town..." the girl crossed her arms and nodded. "Agreed..." And so the ship headed for the next best Island. Though it probably wouldn't take long as Ella and Gou helped out the beardoctor operate the ship, with a steady watch from Dwayne and his gun. Who knws what would happen to the people on that ship? Only Time can tell... The End? |

Man, best line goes to Ice-T for “Ella, get back in the kitchen or something” Henri Argent – 4 SD and 950,000Gou F Tama – 13 SD and 3,525,000Dwayne Walker – 16 SD and 3,950,000Clarity, you need to fix Gou’s profile page, he’s missing both a beli and upkeep section. For his treasure hunter trait Gou get’s something from the doctor who patched them up. He receives a cool bear skin get up. Really, it’s more like a bear skin rug that you can wear on your head, but hey, it’ll keep you warm and you may even be able to intimidate someone with it. Spoiler: click to toggle The events that took place in this SL have also left their mark on the island (which I’ll add to the briefing when I make it in a bit) Edited by Hideo, Apr 17 2011, 12:27 PM.
