Dark brown sandals kicked against the floor of a crowded street. A gentle breeze brushed against red hair, while it pushed through the fibers of beige hued shorts. It sailed through the tightly woven niches of one orange tee shirt and the skin of the person to whom these clothes belonged. Gou walked through the mass of tourist that had flooded his town nearly everyday. "I wonder how many of them are off to visit that stand?" he made an effort to get to a wall or any nearby surface so that the tide of people would not veer him off course from his destination.

He made a beeline toward a nearby shop and somehow managed to squeeze through and get to the door. As he entered the establishment her heard the subtle rings of wind chimes. "Can I help you?" a man with a long twirled mustached called out to him from behind the long green counter in the back of the store. Gou shook his head, "Just browsing." he stared off into the crowd with anticipation, he hadn't been out of his house in what seemed like an eternity and the first thing he was introduced to was a swarm of people.

Anxious to see what he had missed in his years of imprisonment within his house he strolled toward the counter and sighed, "So what is this shop anyway?" he called out indifferent to the man's answer, "Are you blind?" the man pointed behind the boy showing several barrels filled with swords. Gou turned around and noticed that he had completely ignored his surroundings, "Oh a weapons shop?" he said sheepishly. The man's eyes rose "Sword shop." he put an emphasis on the O so that it sounded more like a aw then a or sound. Gou nodded and stepped back, he wasn't very interested in swords as his parents had drilled it into him to avoid them ever since they found out that unlike every thing else they seemed to be one of the few things that actually hurt the boy.

He looked around and observed the designs of one of the swords sheathes, it had a jet black shade and looked as if it had been glossed, a long dragon trailed along the base of the sheathe and ended with it's head and two talons extended near the center of it. After he finished eyeballing the merchandise he had no intent on actually buying her smiled and the man and waved, "Have a nice day." he said as polite as he could manage before he strolled slowly out of the building. The crowd had faded out all of them had headed off toward the norther part of the island. He was sure something was going down there but he wasn't quit sure if he should pursue anything interesting as his main objective was to scout out the island for any significant changes.

In his ten years spent exploring the island the boy had never actually seen the whole thing, he knew Loguetown was a grand city and be it the constant pirates who rested in the local taverns on the island before the next big trip or the marine base that was placed there to keep those pirates in check he had never strayed far from his actual home. He turned to the north and followed the people still walking to one destination as if guided by a hive mind, "Hell why not." he chose to follow suit and see exactly what it was that drew in these giant crowds of pirates and citizens alike.

The soft tunes of the piano ringed trough the cafe at the square. Fingers were moving over the ivory and ebony keys of the the big wing piano at the center of the stage of the small cafe. It wasn't really a stage, more of a higher ground sorta thing. The music felt slightly sad as was the player in question. A man with a crimson red floral shirt and short blond hair sat there playing the music with all his heart. He didn't even look at the keys, he played by heart... His shirt was untucked and open and he wore some slim stonewashed jeans with slip-on shoes underneath. He didn't look much of a real player, but he sure had the skills to impress a crowd. Many were sitting at small tables watching the man and silently waited for their order. One was a fool to disturb this man's playing...

In the back of the cafe there was some whispering. No doubt it would be critisism but the man didn't care. He played what his heart felt and the owner of the cafe would pay him none of the less. Besides that he got free meals and a place to sleep. Suddenly he heard a girl screaming just at the end of his melody. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING! This ain't that kinda Cafe mister!" she yelled. The man got up and rubbed over his chin bearing a very carefully styled goatee. "Excuse me, I will be taking a short break..." he said to the crowd and moved towards the back of the cafe. 'Oh come now, Ella... I just finished the song and you most certainly killed the mood..." he said as he was near the table where the screams came from. His tone of voice showed he didn't really care much for the song rather for the girl's well being.

"That guy was Sexually harassing me, Dwayne!" she yelled again. The girl was younger then the man and had her long red ponytail kept in place by a bandana. She was wearing a waitress uniform aswel. The man that had "harassed" her was on the floor now with a bleeding nose. Dwayne figured she hit the man with the plate she was using to carry food and drinks with, the one she was so tightly holding onto now. Dwayne let out a sigh. "You can't really blame the guy... Look at how you're dressed?" he said. Almost instantly he recived a hit from the plate aswel. He fell down on his butt and grabbed his nose out of pain. "Owowowowow... Now that was uncalled for!" he said as he got up again. "Well... Sorry Dwayne... But I'm not apologising to THAT guy... he was whispering throught the whole performance aswel...".
Dwayne shrugged and made a smile. "To me... It doesn't matter. But maybe some other guests here didn't like it. I suggest you move on sir, before little miss agression get's another clean hit..." he said to the man that was hit.

The man left in peace without making a real fuss and even apologised to Ella. "Eleanore Clarke... You have got to understand that you are a grown woman now, and are appealing to men..." he said as he took out a pack of Cigarettes and a lighter. "Oh yeah? well why am I not appealing to you then?" she asked on a smirk tone. Dwayne looked around and noticed the crowd was staring at them now. "Let's discuss this later on a more private occasion?" he asked and put a cigarette in his mouth and left out the front door for a smoke. "Whatever Dwayne... You have got to quit Smoking!" she yelled as he walked out the door of the small cafe.

He stood there outside on the square near the rebuild execution platform. Ever since that lighting bolt took it down a hundred years ago, some hooligans try demolish it every year, again and again. He lit the litte "Stick of Death" as Ella called them and took a deep breath and released it in a small stream again. It really took the edge off of things and mad ehim relax again. He was never planning on quitting with the smokes eventough he told Ella he would someday. It was just to reassure the girl. It's not like he had a deathwish... He was just badluck for everyone around him...
Suddenly he noticed some crowds forming at the square coming from all directions. "Quite intresting... I wonde what the commotion is all about..." he said as he took another breath from the cigarette. He crossed his hands and watched the crowd, trying to figure out what this was all about...

A pocketful of five million or so fake beri, a pack of cards and a sharp tongue, all Henri needed to survive. He’d been up for the past two evenings or so, working upon the false currency, upon close inspection it was obvious they’d been crafted by fraud, the cards he'd 'won' from an aged marine and the silver tongue he'd inherited from his father. The plan was flawless. The teen had returned to Loguetown in order to make some cold hard cash and he was going to make it fast.

Renowned as a pirate's hub, stolen money exchanged hands thousands and thousands of times before being pushed into some fat-cat company’s purse. He'd convinced himself that stealing, no, winning the money from pirates would in fact be the right thing to do. If everybody on the planet stole from each other, the planet would go to ruins within days, but if everybody upon the planet stole from pirates, there would be no piracy, so surely he was acting upon the highest moral good. Or at least that was his cover if he were to come across any questioning marines, it might not work, but at least it would buy him time.

Dressed in a fantastic crimson suit he’d picked off a washing line and thick rimmed glasses he’d bought, Henri had set up a table in a lesser known cranny of the town centre, unnervingly just opposite the execution platform and was playing 'find the lady' with anyone who cared to play. He was no card shark, but his charisma and the art of distraction were all he really needed to win. All they had to do was find which of the three cards upon the table was the queen and he'd pay out double what they'd bet upon the event. Of course they never found the lady. Or if they did, it was rarely ever that simple.

Every now and then another person who reckoned himself a con-man would come along and after betting a substantial sum, Henri would take the money, let him win or have a chance at pointing out the cheat and pay his winnings in counterfeit bills. It had been working pretty well so far, and after each discovery, he'd simply disappear into the crowd and set up somewhere else before the unsatisfied contestant reappeared with their fake bills. It was fairly foolproof.

The wonderful thing about the crimson suit was that it was the only thing people remembered about him. After he'd changed clothes, he was practically a different person. The Con-Artist laughed softly to himself, brushing down the dark green cloth he’d draped over the stand. With an alleyway behind him, even if the marines did show up, all he needed to do was knock over a few barrels and run. He’d timed himself and he could pack up, vanish down the alleyway and change clothes in twenty three seconds. He could probably cut it down to eighteen on a good day.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a chance to double your money!" The teen called out over the crowd in an alluring tone as he dealt out the three cards upon the table. “Just find the Lady!”

The town square both the beginning and an end to many a men and a landmark among the people. But this day was different, it was not the execution of a figurehead that drew the crowd in but a celebration of sorts or rather a commemoration. The crowds had settled around the towering execution stand that had once held Gol D Rogers. A man with a black vest, a velvet purple dress shirt and black cotton pants slowly ascended the steps until he reached about half way and turned around. The crowd looked up in unison and a dead silence waiting for the man to speak as if he were a dignitary, "My fellow pirates, or rather my fellow denizens of this world now ruled by pirates I welcome you to the rest of your life. I am Gler S Doge" he smirked as he stared down at the crowd of men and women and let his long black hair droop down over face leaving only the his smile to be seen by the masses.

"For a speech? Is that seriously why all these people came here for? It's not even a good speech." Gou had been listened to every word the man said and he was unimpressed, he was sure there was more to it, but he didn't feel like hearing it. He turned to see a stand with three cards on it and a man shouting out an oppurtunity to make twice there money. Having a little bit of pocket change the boy decided to give it a shot. He weeded through the crowd who seemed captivated by this smiling man, "What the hell is wrong with them?" he said with a sigh. He slammed a bag full of money on to the counter, "I'll take your offer, what do I have to do?" he said as he stared at the man and then the cards with a glint of curiosity in his eyes. A few men had lost the glazed look in their eyes and slinked their heads down in unison. Feint mumbling broke through the curtain of silence that had befallen the hundreds who laid crowded like sheeps. "Are you ready? It starts soon." Gou's head turned as he tried to make out their words but he decided it was irrelivent and turned back to the table with the cards.

Glers head rose parting his hair in the process, dark black eyes looked down upon the townsmen and tourist alike, "I've called you here today to ask of each and everyone of you one thing. I ask for you to come with me, come with me as we take a stand here and now to change the tides of fate. This world has been ruled by the world government and marines, We the men of the sea have had enough. Rise up rise up and oppose your oppressors. Take what is rightfully yours and mine, This world belongs to us and should be dictated not by one force, but the people. This one thing I ask from you is anarchy." The silence of the people were shattered as the rampant shouts of hundreds echoed through the alleys of the town. Those who were not in the square were inside hiding from the mob of criminals.

"Why are the marines not here? Where the hell are they? You'd think they'de come if this many pirates were in one place." Gou kept these thoughts to himself and wondered if it was truly smart to leave his money on the table with the now rallying mass of the scourge of the sea. He had no anomousity towards them, but he couldn't help but apply the stereotypes were he saw fit, each one was clad in different apparel each one had their own unique style, they came in many different shades, but they all had one thing in common, they were all considered enemies of the world government and a potential threat to all. The marine base that was located on the island was not far from where they had gathered and though this was true there was not a marine in sight.

As Dwayne watched the crowd he noticed many of them appeared to be men of the sea and some looked closer to pirates. "So... Pirates are gathering at the square underneath the shadow of the legendary monument two pirate kings once stood at... I sense a sad attempt at epicness..." he said as he finished his cigarette and tossed it aside. He went back inside to get his jacket and check out whatever this commontion was all about. He dashed in and took his jacket off a chair on stage. He doubted about taking his guns aswel, but took them just in case. You never knew with pirates around... Dwayne dashed back out of the cafe only to get a shouting by ella and be momentarliy frozen in spot. "Where are you running off to this time? You got a show here!" she shouted and dropped the drinks on her plate in the progress. She was waiving it at him and an unlucky customer got a hot cup of coffee in the face.

"Tell the owner I'm talking my lunchbreak..." he said and walked out the door towards the square. "But you already took your lunchbreak! Dwaaaaaaaaaaaaaayne..." she said and just then noticed the customer grasping his face of the pain. She quikly appologised and helped him. After that noone wanted a drink so she took a 5 min break in the staff room. "Dwayne... What are you after this time..." she said as she whiped the sweat off of her forehead. She layed the plate down on a nearby counter and took a peek in the kitchen...

Meanwhile, Dwayne had blend in with the crowd and was now at the square. A Strange man was about to give a speech. As soon as he introduced himself Dwayne made a smirk. He knew this guy was talking nonsense... Just the name gave it away. he sticked around to listen to the entire speech. He was all talk and knew how to sway a crowd... He was mad aswel... "This one thing I ask from you is anarchy." ... Great... Now the pirates were gonna wreck havoc across the city? Not gonna happen. Dwayne clapped as soon as the speech was over. A sarcastic gesture but if he didn't do anything now, these pirates were gonna put the town upside down. "Nice speech... You could sell a bucket of horsecrap to these folks and they would smile as you gave it to them... But here's the thing..." he said as he made his way trough the crowd some more to get up ahead. "I'm not buying any of this... Anarchy? Really? Ever opened a history book? Who won the famous Whitebeard war, huh? I'd say noone... Whitebeard died... Portgaz D. Ace died... Marine HQ basicly destroyed... This is not gonna work my friend... You know why I know you're a phony? You're name's an anagram of "Gol D. Roger". If you want something done for the cause of Anarachy... Go to another island with more stupid people...". Dwayne made quite the speech of his own and simply walked away after that. If any of the numbskulls that were listing cared, they would not be doing a rampage now.

He was right about the Marines tough... Not one in sight. Dwayne walked back to the cafe and was gonna play his next song before he lost the job. Suddenly he noticed a boy in a crimson suit with a card stall. "Oh please... A card hustler? Such waisted talent..." he said as he moved towards the stall to adress the kid. He knew it must have been a hustle because noone out there could make a living putting their bet on luck. And Dwayne had more then enough card skill to show the boy a thing or two. He had been playing for about 6 years now, and knew every trick in and out of the book. He knew most shuffles and htis guy was probably gonna shuffle away the card he was asking for without people noticing it... Well People besides Dwayne that is.

There was a poker tourney the next evening and that was why Dwayne had stuck around this Island. To win the big pot. Maybe this kid could be competition? He seemed to young to even enter... he walked up to the stand and noticed another boy placing a bag of beli on the makeshift table. "Oh dear... The first fish bites..." he said and stood next to the boy wanting to play. Maybe he schould wait a round before confronting the boy with the cards... He wasn't really in the mood for a lecture but kids like the one before him have such a bright future ahead of them, unless their name was Dwayne Walker... "Have you got more skills then just shuffling boy or is this hustle all you can do?" he asked on a semi-depressed tone. He was rubbing his eyes with one hand and held the other in his pocket waiting for the boy to respond.

"This one thing I ask from you is anarchy." Henri looked up, shaking his head, a most unimpressed look upon his face. Was this guy serious? This world had to have rules in order for them to be broken... If everyone stole from everyone else, getting rich would certainly become alot more dificult, tyrants worse than the world government would rule supreme. Sighing the conman pushed up his glasses, a lot of criminals seemed to be on his side, just wasted lives against the world government... Bigger people had tried and failed to overcome them.

Returning to the real world as he heard the chink of money upon the table he looked down to see a kid a few years his junior. Resuming his charasmatic persona he picked the bag up and looked at the kid. What did he want? Oh yeah the game! He smiled. "Right fella, you see these three cards?" The charasmatic teen asked, turning them upright to reveal the queen of diamonds, and the two black kings, he slipped the bag of spare change into his left pocket before continuing. "I'm gonna turn them face down, swivel them around a little, all you have to do is keep an eye on the queen. When I stop, just tell me where she is and you win. Simple right?" Henri smiled, begining the starting the queen in the middle, he did it fairly slowly making it obvious that the queen was upon his left when he'd finished.

"Have you got more skills then just shuffling boy or is this hustle all you can do?"

"Ah, a man in a similar trade?" Henri smiled, looking up to the new arrival from over his glasses, raising an eyebrow. "Wanna throw your cash into the pot to show this fella how it's done and double his pocket money?" He wasn't in any way shape or form unnerved, just calm and collected as usual. He pushed the rim of his glasses up and tapped at the cards upon the table, doing the same play again. The trained eye would've seen that the queen wasn't on the left as it would've seemed but rather somewhere to his right.

The man now sat near the top of the tower he looked down at the many people and smiled as he saw his point slowly breaking through, he hadn't been doing this long, it was no different than the hustle that the boy in the corner was doing. The people wanted to be led, they were stupid sheep in search of a shepherd, in every generation there seemed to be one, Gol D Rogers, Monkey D Luffy, and then there was him. His name was Henry S Garribant something he had quickly replaced with an anagram for the pirate king. His intentions were simple, he did not want anarchy, he wanted chaos, but pirates were stupid, they looked for fun and adventure and to a man of risk what was more fun then a world with no rules? He had been preaching this half assed gospel inspiring pirates and even civilians to be more brash with there actions, blatantly oppose the government for the sake of sheer disobedience. If anyone where to look at his track record they would see that unlike the many pirates that he preached to Henry had never done a crime in his life.

"Nice speech... You could sell a bucket of horsecrap to these folks and they would smile as you gave it to them... But here's the thing." the man paused and looked up at him, "Another none believer." Henry thought with his shoulders slack. "I'm not buying any of this... Anarchy? Really? Ever opened a history book? Who won the famous Whitebeard war, huh? I'd say noone... Whitebeard died... Portgaz D. Ace died... Marine HQ basically destroyed... This is not gonna work my friend... You know why I know you're a phony? You're name's an anagram of "Gol D. Roger". If you want something done for the cause of Anarachy... Go to another island with more stupid people...". The man smirked he had found someone with competence in this large town, perhaps it would be smart to change venues, but first he would have to save face.

The boy clapped his hands in the same sarcastic manner as the man had before and allowed him to even wander off before he approached the matter. "We can not pick the names we are given." He said with a smirk as he got up from his crouched position. "This man opposes your views. Each and every one of you who want to be free, this is the ignorance we face. It is truly a dark time when a man can have so much anger, and only use it towards those who only want the best for him. Every name he's said has died not from anarchy, but stupidity these men, the greats of piracy were killed off by the same people who oppress you now. Where is their reparation? Has the World Government suffered for the losses we've suffered because they've left?" the crowd had been mulling over both points, but Henry was sure he had hooked them, just like he soon hooked everyone who he approached.

He paused allowing them to think for all of two seconds and then shouted "No!" this was something he had learned, something called a pattern interrupt the name gave away exactly what it did, you pose a question to a person allow them to think just enough for them to try and come to a conclusion, then stop them, give them the answer you want and the people will soon believe that they thought of it. The crowd mimicked his words and he smiled as he knew he had won. He looked at the man who had decided to play cards and smiled, perhaps one day he could persuade the man to work with him, intelligence was the enemy of any man who wanted a hivemind mentality he saw it would be much easier to have those who saw through his guise on his side rather than have to deal with them later. He walked down the steps shifting the crowd into two parts as they made a line for the man to pass. His goal was this one outspoken man.

Meanwhile Gou looked down at the cards ignoring the banter between the two card sharks, his focus was on the cards. "Heart of the cards, heart of the cards?" he thought as pictures of a spiky haired blond boy in a blue school uniform ran through his head, He closed his eyes and slowly ran his hand to the end of the table. Unable to see he was unaware that his hand was nowhere near a card. "This one." he said as he slammed his hand down supposedly guided by some unknown force. His eyes opened as he realized he hit nothing and he chuckled a bit, "Damn Yugi." he muttered as he swiftly tapped his index down on the card on the far right, "That one. he said with a nod.

So It seems the man turned around his speech aswel... Maybe now the men there had some doubt about what they schould be doing... It's not like Dwayne was a law inforcer but anrachy is a very stupid idea. What's to say that 2 friends in the crowd didn't murder eachother out of greed later on? The rule put in place "not to murder" kept them from this now but Anarchy meant ignoring this rule and doing whatever you want... Dwayne feared for the safety of the townsfolk aswel as for Ella's safety. He decided to move back indoors and stay out of this conflict.

Suddenly the boy suggested adding Dwayne's money to the pot to increase the winnings. Silly... In a hustle the player never won. The house always wins. Besides Dwayne didn't follow the cards and didn't know wich card to look for so it was most obvious that the little boy would lose. Dwayne knew the hustle as he had a basic principle of it in mind. One either switched the cards around without the player looking or by just being fast and the other way was to remove the wanted card off the table. The last was a guarenteed win if one could pull it off, but a guarenteed Hustle 'n Run if found out. By altering the two techniques the chances were perfect of making a profit. Dwayne decided to answer the boy's question. "Little boy... I have no intrest at all in participating in this charade. For one I don't even know what Card I'm supposed to be looking for... And I've got a show to perform." he said and turned towards the playing boy.

It seemed as if he was heavily concentrating on something and pointing at a non-existent card... Was he mental? Do Kids these days have no honor at all that they are prepared to rip-off mentally challenged kids? This was sad... The boy mubled something and pointed at the far right card. "Boy... Promise me you'll quit this if you lose. I may not be your dad or big brother or whatever... But it's silly for you to gamble here where the house has all the control..." Dwayne said and gave the boy a pat on his schoulders before he went back to the cafe. He had a job after all. He turned around to add something. "If you want something to do then come over to the "Loguetown Lodge". It's a cafe where I play some tunes and maybe we can play a game of more skill after I'm done?" he said and turned around again. He waived with the back of his hand as he headed back for the café.

Arrving back at the café he was angerly greeted by Ella again. "It's been over 15 minutes Dwayne! We could lose this job if you do these kind of things!" she yelled at him in the doorway. he moved on towards the stage area again and put his elongings in their temporary holding place. He sat down on the stool in front of the piano and adressed Ella again. "this may sound hard to believe but I was trying to avert an all-out war in this town aswel as teach 2 kids not to gamble..." he said as he cracked his knuckles and treched his fingers. "Pffffffffffff... Just don't do it anymore... ok Dwayne?" she asked. Dwayne nodded and started playing again... He wanted something a bit more upbeat this time so he put his hands to the ivory and ebony, closing his eyes, and started playing.

"You're a wiser man than I thought you'ld be sir... And kid, The House always wins." Laughing darkly as he pocketed the child's money, Henri simply slipped the pack of cards into his pocket, picked up the cloth and stepped into the crowd. He felt no real guilt in stealing from a child. Removing his glasses and changing suits in an alleyway, he chuckled to himself... He was definately a pirate.

Emerging from the alleyway in his usual getup, the teen noticed his stomach grumbling. "Oh great..." He sighed to himself and reaching for his pocketfull of fake beri to find it surprisingly empty. He swore under his breath, walking back to the square, he'd have to use real money untill he made some more... He lowered his head in shame, stepping into the cafe, taking a seat at the back. Flicking through the menu he grimaced, this place was a little too inexpensive for his liking, their food menu was a little limited if anything... Even so, their Chicken Tika Masala looked oddly appealing and to top it all off the wannabe dealer was playing a pretty sweet piano. Henri shrugged. He'd live.

The man walked off passed the rift that the pirates had made and entered the bar, "Tsk Tsk." he ran a hand through his orange hair and turned to follow after him, he wasn't going to miss a chance to have someone competent associated with him. He peered into the bar just in time to hear an upbeat tune dancing against the walls of the tavern. His eyes locked on the pianist and with a fake smile he walked in. Sadly it was hard to be discreet when a large group of pirates were trailing behind you, but it was the best he could do without making a scene. Five burly men stood clogging the doorway, while he laid against the closest wall to the door.

"I lost!?" Gou screamed in hysteria. The card in his hand was a king a black king at that, he looked down at his sack of money and sighed, wondering if the card expert had actually been right about the scam. He sighed and left the money on the table leaving the man to his win. He could here him calling out for another round, something about two out of three, but one drastic hit in his funds was enough for him. Gou walked off toward the bar that the man had talked about with a smile, it was packed to the brim at least it looked that way.

"Coming through!" the boy said bluntly as he stepped behind the large pirate that was blocking the entrance, "Not budging." was the mans reply, "Fine." Gou looked up at the small space that the men had made between them, he was sure that his body would just push in if he tried to jump through them. Deciding this was the smartest course of action he lept forward, the pirates fist came up smashing into the boy's face without so much as turning around. "Not budging." was the only the man said with his back still turned to the boy.

His face pushed in wrapping around the mans fist only to snap back as he fell down, "Are you serious?" Gou shouted somewhat frustrated with his circumstances. He picked himself up from the ground and took a step back deciding his next move would be a charge, hopefully it would be strong enough to make the guy fall. He dropped to his knees and allowed his hands to scrape against the floor, "Hey!" he shouted while speeding head on into the mans back. His face slammed down hard against his spine causing the large man to hit the floor, though his partners were surprised it didn't take long for them to react, "This bloke it Devin." a muscular man with a yellow bandanna shouted in surprise.

Dwayne moved on from the upbeat one to a slightly slower one. Not to mention a tad sadder aswel. This song was an oldtimer for him since he knew how play it when he was still in highschool. It brings back memories of the better times eventough it sounds sad. He heard some commotion but kept playing. This was a tribute to the people he knew back then and ha was not about to stop playing because some hooligan barged in. His job was the piano not the security of an avrage café...

Ella was sitting on a chair of a table closest to the piano. She listend silently to the previous song and tought Dwayne had regained some spirit but gave up when she heard this one. She knew what it meant to him and usually it wasn't good. Dwayne had been helping her for 3 years now and eventough he's a wreck at some times she sticks by him to give his life meaning. She probably would've stayed close to home if he wasn't such a mess... On the hand she also owed her life to him and eventough they travelled quite some time togheter, she still was nowhere close to repaying that. Dwayne told her once he didn't care, it was his choice and called off the debt. They argued a few times about this but she sticks close anyways. He was meant to be the most inspiring musician of this age, he just needed to see that.

While she was daydreaming, a customer walked up to her. "Miss? Can I order?" he asked and Ella got a little spooked by him and slammed her plate in his face as she got up. "Oops! Sorry sir..." she said. After the small incident she went to take the orders of everyone. when she came back with the coffee's she noticed a boy had walked in and taken a seat in the corner of the café. She walked up to him to ask his order. "Can I help you?" she asked on a friendly tone while holding the plate with cups of coffee. She noticed some other customers walking in but they didn't look like the friendly kind...

Suddenly a fight broke out on the doorstep. the shouts scared Ella and she tossed her plate away out of shock. The plate with the cups of hot coffee was flying straight for the boy who was sitting so unmannered at the table. Seems 2 large men were picking a fight with a boy... Dwayne wasn't moving an inch and she wondered why? It was his song but wasn't he just now educating kids? Maybe he made that up and was drinking in the alleyway... "Dwaaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaayne!" she shouted at him. the song was almost over but he didn't even look at the doorstep. After the shout Ella Reaslised she had tossed a plate of hot coffee on a boy... she turned around and appologised: "I'm terribly sorry sir! Let me give you a soda or something on the house and some tissues maybe..." she said as she took a look at the boy.

Dwayne was palying his last notes and as the last sustain was over he took a look. The man from the square was now inside and was watching his show. It seems he brought some bulk with him. Dwayne let out a sigh but reached quikly of his guns and aimed at the man. He stepped down from the stage and the piano and was about 5 meters away when he stopped walking towards the doorway. "Look man... I don't even care if this anarchy happens in this town or not. But it sure is not going to happen here." he said as he pulled the trigger of his gun back. "I'm gonna ask you nicely and this is a onetime offer. You and your Bloody Dimwits move away from this café and leave me alone, or else I put a bullet in that orange cranium of your's.". Dwayne was trying to intimidate them and usually something like this was enough. At this range missing was no option aswel. It seemed there was a little trouble outside aswel as the gambling boy was trying tog et in the establishment while the big dumb muscle was blocking the entrance.

"So... Wich is it going to be?" he asked on a serious tone. His whole apearance was serious and intimidating at this point. He wasn't gonna let some wannabe pirate king get his way here.

"I walk a lonely road... The only one that I have ever known..." The teen mused to himself, under his breath and in time to the music. Enjoying would be the wrong word, he was appreciating the music. It was interesting to see that he was the guy from earlier...

"Yeah... I'll take a Chicken Tika Masala... With extra everything." He asked the girl, handing her exact change still somewhat distracted, with more intersting things upon the other side of the window. "And something wet to drink please."

His spacing's out were brought to an immediate halt as a some scaulding liquid hit him in the face. The merchant surpressed a yelp, and gritted his teeth, brushing himself down, using the tablecloth. He smiled to the girl. "Y-yeah... A lemonade would be nice or something to wipe up." The music had stopped... Looking out of sheer curiousity He turned around seeing the anarchist and his cronies confronted by the musician, his day was going bad to worse. He'd already paid the girl... Oh shit... If things kicked off he'd miss out on his tika masala. He stood up, taking a stand behind the pianist. "If I don't get my Tika Masala, which I have legitimately paid for because of you anarchists, I really will be pissed enough to kick your ass..."

The Distinct click of the safety being removed was enough to spur the boy from his laxed lean. His eyes slowly tilted toward the barrel that loomed ominously over his head. "I've done nothing but sit down and now there is a gun pointed at me, will no one help me?" his voice was laced with arrogance and a slight hint of sarcasm. His eyes averted from the gun and trailed off toward the two muscle bound cronies, "Those men are as much assosciates of myself as the man who just tackled one of them." The men maintained the positions the one underneath the boy who had floored him, while the other kept his mouth agape and seemed unhinged by his words perhaps to focused on the situation on hand. "I did not come in here to start any problems. I came to enjoy music and have a nice meal." his weres were slow and seemed rehearsed, his orange hair shifted just slightly as he turned his head from the barrel to make direct eye contact with the man behind it.

Silence was the last thing that could describe the cafe, pirates had invaded and even the pianist had seemed to go mad. The customers gasped at the sight of the pistol, a few bar brawls was a common thing in this age of pirayes, but when a man pulled out a gun things always became hectic,
a man tried to exitthe establishment only to step on Gou's finger. It was enough to snap him to the alert, "I'll save you!" though he was not clear as to the situation it was clear that the orange haired man was in need of his assistance. He jumped up sliding his flattened index out from below the man's foot. He charged forward noticing that the man who was asking for help was none other than the grandstanding anarchist and the man pointing the gun was the paino playing con man. He wasn't sure why he was shooting him but he was not going to let anyone get shot on his watch.

Dwayne smiled with a touch of sarcasm in his expression. Do you really think I'm gonna believe that? Why on these godforsaken seas would you walk in here for a meal and some tunes after you just gave a speech about taking down the goverment. Buisness lunch? Please give it a rest..." Dwayne said and tightend the grip on his pistol. He had one shot and it schould count. Soon after he noticed the boy from before standing behind him and making a threat to the men in case he wouldn't get his meal. "Word to the wise, kid... When you stand behind me like that and make a loose threat, it's not very convincing... Maybe move up to the real scene of the action? But then again... Deeds speak louder the words." Dwayne responded. After a few seconds of thought he saw the other boy charging trough. He tought he'd just enter the scene and try to break it up.

However things went less then expected as the boy came crashing through. Dwayne didn't pay it any more attention untill the boy tackled him. dwayne got tossed against a table, and as he fell on it a cup of hot coffee flew upwards. as Dwayne looked up froml below the ground on the broken table he saw the cup heading for a very specific target. "Peachy..." he said as the cuyp landed on his hat and became sowewhat of a hat. A hat of boiling hot coffee that is. Dwayne got up and made some painfull cries. "I can really never catch a break, can I!" he yelled as he tossed the cup on the ground. He ignored the tackling kid for now and moved back towards the table as he saw ella was about to give another lecture of her's... "You guys better move along! Dwayne isn't joking on this! Can you even imagine what he's been trough since he left Water 7? And now you Jokers come along and ruin one of his favorite songs! Seriously... And another thing you schould adress him as Mister Walker...". Ella was going on and on about pointless things. Dwayne walked up and inturruped her. "Ella, get back in the kitchen or something or serve someone esle for now..." he said to her on his intimidating tone while he made a facepalm. Ella gulped, grabbed a plate and moved towards the kitchen.

Dwayne adressed himself to mister Orange Anarchy. "That girl really needs to mind her own buisness... Anyway mister Anagram. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt. You can eat and listen to some music if you so reeeeeally want it. But I'd prefer you left as soon as your meal is over. Otherwise I won't take responsibility for whatever happens next..." he said and turned around. He was heading to pick up his gun from below the table and he holstered it again. "And you..." he said as he pointed at Gou. He walked over and grabbed his ear. "I'm having a gruesome day to say the least. First off This guy tries to overthrow our goverment, next I see 2 kids who schouldn't be gambling and then you barge in to tackle me and break a table? Are you... Ma-a-ad?". As he was putting the boy into place his ear stretched out and it was a real weird thing to see. So the boy was a Devil Fruit user? Or was he born to be able to stretch like that...

Dwayne let go of the ear and it snapped right back into place. "Forget it it I'm not dealing with you lunatics right now... I need a drink..." he said and headed into the kitchen aswel.
