(( Sorry for the short post, it's been a while. ))

"Shut the fuck up," Gillian yelled followed up by the sound of something being thrown against the wall.
"Have to get another one," he said and walked towards the windows to open the green curtains. He closed his eyes for a second as automatic response to the sunlight. After putting on some sandals he walked to the part of his room that was supposed to look like a kitchen and took the bin with him to the wall across his bed.
"This is getting really annoying," he stated as he now had to get another alarm clock somewhere. He grabbed the broken clock and threw it in the bin that contained more alarm clocks then a clock shop. After replacing the bin in his kitchen bedroom and living room he made a cup of coffee and sat down right before his window while zipping his coffee.
"This day will suck even more then yesterday," he signed at the sight of a few citizens on the plaza that he lived on.

After he did his morning ritual he walked towards his bed and grabbed his sword from underneath his bed. He blew on it to remove any dust and wielded it on his back with an old cloth. He closed the door behind him and locked up before taking a step into the fresh air.

Blaise strolled arrogantly down a narrow street, he was always arrogant, most times he was good at not showing it. Presently he was elated after stealing a large sack of golden apples, the feeling of stealing to him was nearly euphoric. Nothing was better than a perfectly executed theft, calmly leaving the scene with not a worry in the world. If thievery were a girl, Blaise would marry her and let her steal his existence. "Man that was pretty philosophical."

Saying that aloud he reached in his sack of apples, as he did this he spotted a group of children. The children were eying a rather noble looking fellow with an ornate sword upon his waist, he smiled enjoying the nostalgic thought of stealing as a youth. He felt rather charitable watching the children he figured he'd give them a hand, as they closed in he did as well and when the children cut the mans belt Blaise crashed in with his sack of apples. "Oh gosh!" he feigned a shrill nervous voice, He landed on his butt the apples tumbling everywhere. He looked about feigning a sad worrisome face, "Oh my lord!-" When the children had hit the corner for the alley he yelled, "Sir oh my pickpockets!" Blaise pointed and the man looked and then reached for his sword.

"You damned worthless pansy, is spent 6 mil on that sword!" Blaise stood and wiped himself off, "I'm sooo sorry sir, I'll catch them!" He then ran off towards the direction the children had went, when he reached the other end of the alley he slowed exiting into the plaza. He pulled one of the apples from his pocket and rubbed it on his pant, the children were long gone.

He strolled towards the center of the plaza, smiling at a group of young women he took a seat at the fountain in the center. He could tell this would be an absolute swell day, he leaned back letting the warmth of the sun envelope him. Suddenly he felt a sharp kick in his shin, when he opened his eyes he spotted one of the children glaring at him right in the face, he looked about him left and right for any observers. "What?!" The kid reached in his pocket and for a moment Blaise hand instinctively moved to the strap of his axe.

"Weh' boss sah'd fav'er fer uh fav'er." He dropped a red gumdrop in Blaise's lap, but infact it wasn't a gumdrop but a solid red marble. "Gumdrop's owe yeh a fav'er." Blaise sat there dumbfounded a moment, and the child stalked off. He looked about again spotting the noble man staring at him from across the plaza. "Crap." He stood and headed towards a side street, when a group of marines marched by obstructing both of their views, he headed into an open door. Thinking quick he headed up the stairs towards the roof, reaching the third floor there was only one locked door. He decided he'd wait a while, and if any trouble arose, that door would be coming down.

The plaza was getting more crowded by the second as Gillian took in the fresh air that entered his nose. He smiled as a group of nobles passed him without giving him a look. People like them were the best targets for people like him. They think highly of themselves but cannot fight or defend anything. Instead they just raise there heads high like they are everything and that they posses the powers of the gods.

Right after he opened up his eyes a man passed him and entered the building he lived in. "Find that guy or the lieutenant will punish us," he heard someone yell and spotted a tiny little fellow in marine clothing. The marines around him were at least three heads bigger then him but they did not seem to notice that as they just took the yelling from the little frog. "Do not let anyone in this plaza leave and question them all," he said still with a screaming voice that scared the crap out of the other marines. Gillian laughed as the marines listened to the dwarf and were barricading all exists of the plaza and started to question the civilians. "Who is that dwarf that is taking away my peace?" he bluntly asked two marine officers that were questioning the nobleman that ignored him just a second ago. It was noticeable that the two turned around very quick and studied his posture and looks as not many marines had those two important factors. The one on the left was confusing Gillian in deciding if he was human or a hybrid human-giant. The one on the right had a tender posture and almost got Gillian to laugh because of his rabbit teeth.

"Do not call Ensign Yudo a dwarf," the hybrid stated giving him a serious expression. "Yudo is closed to getting a promotion in ranks so give him some of your respect," the rabbit said quite arrogant. Gillian smiled softly and bowed to the laughable marine couple. "Excuse my rudeness but i life here and i would like to life in peace while i do that," he said with a smile from ear till ear. He was stunned from his own skills. They could not see him laugh as he was facing the ground to show them his 'respect'. He stood up and smiled gently to the rabbit and the giant. "I heard that you were looking for someone. Maybe i can help?" he said with a tone of kindness in his voice. For him this was the biggest enjoyment of live.

"We are looking for a thief. He stole some apples and a bag to put them in," the rabbit said and raised his head as if he was proud of something. "So far we know that he is wearing a white jacket with a blue shirt. He should be very easy to spot as he has black hightop hair," the hybrid stated and did the same as his fellow marine officer. If he is that easy to spot you would have caught him already. Suddenly his mind was thinking back about the man that had passed him some minutes ago. The description was definitely pointing towards this guy if he thought back about how man had looked. "I've not seen someone like that but if you would excuse me. I have forgotten my lunch," he lied and walked towards the entrance of the building he lived in. The two marine officers just stared at him as he walked away and started to whisper to each other. What is that guy doing by my house? He ran up the stairways until he reached the third floor with only one door. In front of that door the wanted thief was standing doing nothing really. "Why would you only steel apples," he said as he stood there before the wanted criminal. "Thieves should do a better job you know?" he stated and laughed a little.

Blaise leaned against the wall and tapped his foot lightly, the hall smelled a bit musty and it offended his nose. Probably a very poor apartment, he imagined some large poor fishman family with 8 kids stuffed into one apartment. There father probably a drunk and a bandit. Blaise had a very exceptional imagination, he stood picturing all this in his mind and even began to feel sorry for the imaginary fish family.

He reached into his jacket pockets he still had about 4 golden apples, they were his favorite fruit. His parents well-to-do merchants they were couldn't procure them often when he was a child, telling him they were rare and expensive. At the time Blaise didn't understand and pouted and whined like a child would. Earlier this morning when he saw the sack full at the rarities merchants stall he couldn't resist.

He'd approached the stall and asked the merchant about any rare axes he had, the foolish man excitedly turned his back rummaging for axes. Blaise grabbed the sack and strolled off.

His daydream was interrupted by the same hoodlum he'd passed as he entered. He started questioning him about what he would steal, and how he should do his job better. "Pshhh, You've obviously never heard of golden apples-" He stopped a second realizing he was admitting his crime to a stranger, possibly even a marine. "Erm well still it was a whole sack and I have a habit of stealing anything I like." He took one of his last four from his pocket, "Have one." He threw the apple lightly towards him.

He smiled as the guy threw a golden apple towards him. He had to take some steps forward to catch it but managed. He laughed and took a bite while staring to the guy. "Y've gat some b'lls," he said with his mouth full of apple. He swallowed and showed a smile. He grabbed the keys to his apartment from his pocket and walked towards the door. He opened the door with one of the keys and walked in switching the light on.

"You better come inside as the marines can come here any second," he stated and took another bite from the apple. He walked towards the kitchen and opened up the refrigerator. "Want something to drink? I've got some wine and some beer but that is all really," he said and grabbed a got himself a bottle of water. "Or maybe a bottle of water is good enough for you?" he asked while he laughed a little as he took another bite from the apple.

He did not wait for an answer and grabbed another bottle of water for his 'guest'. He closed the refrigerator and sat down on the kitchen table that took in most of the room. "Before you ask it, i let you in because i liked your guts but really, why steel apples if there is so much more," he said and took a last bite from his apple and threw the remains into the bin that contained all his broken alarm clocks.

The ruffian complimented Blaise and he made him fill good, he hadn't interacted with any other criminals in his life except for the young bandits earlier that day. He was slightly weary of ruffians such as this, it was probably his upper class upbringing. He'd never been complimented for stealing, his brother often reprimanded, warned, shook his head, and all around denounced his stealing habits. His mother cried and or fainted, he father hugged her. Eventually they all decided to support him as long as he became the greatest thief in history. To Blaise that was a no brainer, he was great at everything he did and he absolutely lived for thievery.

He cocked his head awkwardly and followed the man into his apartment, it was kind of odd. He supposed he should have assumed most thieves didn't come from his social class and he should expect more poverty in his life. Looking about he took the apartment in most of the rooms were smaller than his own at his parents, "Nice place." He said reluctantly.

As the man offered him wine, beer, and water, He thought of fresh squeezed orange juice. But most likely that was too much to ask, "Ermm-" He remained quiet accepting the bottled water, he silently tried to avoid examining it for grime and opened it and sipped reluctantly. When he mentioned the bottle being good enough for him he held a retort about it not being nearly good enough. Instead he plain lied, "You have that bottled water?! Great."

The man sat down in the kitchen and Blaise joined him.

"Before you ask it, i let you in because i liked your guts but really, why steel apples if there is so much more,"

Blaise wasn't even going to ask, it struck him as odd the fellow had said it like he was doing him a favor by inviting him into such a poor home. But the man complimented him, so Blaise again plain lied. He realized his opinions and reactions were from a priviledged living and most likely quite wrong. "Oh yeahhh, Thanks man. I don't really know, I steal cause I well like to do it, a lot, and I haven't located a larger target yet. Know any?"

Looking out the window he happened to notice a peculiar looking poor man, then he disappeared. He shook his head and blinked he wasn't seeing things, then the guy reappeared near the fountain. "Holy- What in the?" He couldn't quite handle what he saw the excitement making him panic. He immediately ripped his balaclava from his inside pocket, and shed his coat and shirt. He rushed into Gillians room locating the first shirt he could find, "I'll be right back I promise!" He shoved the balaclava on squeezing his high hair down, he folded it up to resemble a beanie and then rushed out the door!

Outside the building, Craig Rixlowe was in an uncomfortable situation. He'd been drifting around the alleyways in his usual search for human company that didn't want him to disappear and found himself in a large plaza with a fountain. He stopped for a moment to take in the atmosphere before realizing that there was apparently a lot of marine activity in the area... 'a high scale theft perhaps? Someone remotely important dropped a purse? I'd best get back before I make a scene I'll just-'

His thoughts were cut off as he noticed the exits from the plaza being blocked off as part of the investigation and people being questioned. 'No, no, no! darn it! I'm stuck in the plaza... things will be bad if someone sees me here. Focus, focus...'

Activating his devilfruit ability, the "zombie" faded briefly before becoming completely transparent. He rather disliked being forced to be invisible in public, it was taken by him as a brutal reminder of what he was and he was something that most people should never have to see. Shaking his head, he focused on how best to avoid attention as he moved towards the center fountain to find the best exit from the plaza. Being invisible would typically mean he had lots of options, but he didn't want to place confidence in this when discovery would mean being forced to run for his life.

After a short time since having reached the fountain, Craig decided to conserve as much energy as possible by only becoming invisible when people would come close enough to see how he really looks. Finding a temporary solution in a conveniently located newspaper to hide behind, he picked it up and unfolded it; only dropping his cloaking once it had been opened fully and masked his face. He was tired, and wanted to conserve his energy and focus for when he'd inevitably make a break for a place to hide more effectively.

"Not really as I was hoping you wou.. Hey, were your going!" he could not even finish his sentence properly and raised an eyebrow. He had only eaten one apple of that guy but he wanted another one. Al do he could not obtain any information about something good to rob he was attracted to the man. It was not the kind of attraction that lovers hat as it was more of an interest he had. This guy had some guts by coming into a house of a stranger that he did not know. It was just like him who invited him in. They both were gutsy and that was the thing Gillian was interested in. "Wait up," he yelled and jumped from the kitchen table.

He walked to the cabin next to his bed and opened the top drawer. "Guess I'll have to follow him," he stated and showed a small smile on his face. He did not know why but without his piercings he would always smile and be kind to others but he was different with his piercings in. He grabbed the piercings and pierced them through the spots they belonged to. "Damn," he said as some blood flew over his face. He dashed to the bathroom and grabbed some toilet paper to clean his face and then walked out the door and locked it.

As he leaped down the stairway he thought about the marines that were outside on the plaza. If they recognized that guy and he was with him they would probably attack them on the spot. Al do it was a good way to see that guys strength it would be bothersome to fight that many marine officer.

Still deep in mind he miss stepped and fell down the last pair of stairs. He quickly stood up and left the building with a serious but painful impression on his face. "This is bothersome," he stated as he looked at his left knee that was hurting a little. He stopped when he reached the fountain and looked around in search of the guy that had stolen his shirt.

Blaise flew out of the room, jumping down each flight of stairs and rolling. As he reached the landing he slowed and composed his self adapting the walk of a poor thug, different from his normal confident stroll. He crossed the distance intently taking a seat next to the man he'd see turn invisible. "Hello there, I saw you from the window." He pointed non-intently, he leaned in with a whisper. "Did you really become invisible?! That has to be the most amazing thing I've ever seen, How do you do it?"

Craig had been looking around for an exit, none appeared. A pair of people quickly exited the building adjacent to the fountain he was sitting at and began approaching him. 'Oh no... they're coming towards me... wait a second, there's something different here. They don't look angry or scared, one of them even looks excited. Must not have really seen me, best not blow it.' As one of the youths went around the newspaper to sit by him and ask questions, he quickly vanished along with the newspaper. to avoid being seen directly.

"I suppose this answers your question then, thanks for the compliment. Invisibility is what I got from a cursed fruit I ate. Works well for me, I don't like being seen. I don't know how well you saw me from whatever window you watched from, but if you saw well enough you'd probably guess why I don't like being seen. While you're here, any chance you know where I can hide from this crowd for awhile? I'll try not to be a bother."

His voice seemed somewhat raspy, as if he'd been shouting for a while or hadn't drank anything for a few hours. Also, he certainly sounded like he -really- wanted to avoid the crowd in the plaza. 'If I'm lucky, maybe they just aren't the type to judge people... hah, what are the odds of that. I haven't seen anyone that isn't terrified by my presence, much less tolerate it...'

Jacky was on a brick stroll through the market place weaving through the throng of people. He was quite skillfully relieving a few of the vendors of produce along the way. He had about three apples before he called it quits, after all you don’t want to draw suspicion to yourself. Ducking through an ally way he quickly headed for the fountain. Humming happily Jacky walk around the fountain took a bite out of an apple, savoring the taste he chewed slowing. Then he saw the most peculiar thing ever in his life. Two men approached someone reading a newspaper and the man with the paper vanished. Raising a brow he decided to listen in and attempted to get close enough to hear and not be noticed. He casually approached their general direction trying to look inconspicuos.

"Hello there, I saw you from the window," a familiar voice said.
Gillian turned himself around and approached the voice of the shirt thief. His eyes were sidetracked from the golden apple thief as his right leg gave him a painful feeling. Maybe it was because of that pain that citizens were staring at him. The only way citizens could know about his pain was if he was making weird expressions on his face.

He stopped for a moment and took a quick stare in the water of the fountain. While trying to get a normal expression on his face he overheard the talk between some marine officers. "Did you find that filthy thief?" one said to another. They both had a regular hight and had short brown hair. All in all they seemed to be pretty standard marines. "No and I take it you haven't found them too?" the other said to the one. "No but he cannot be far away. We have barricaded every exit. Keep searching," the one said to the other and went south. "Oké," said the other and walked north.

Gillian managed to change the expression on his face after he heard the one and the other. He showed a little smile as he thought about how he placed those sentences in his fantasy. "The one and the other," he whispered and laughed a little. He turned around and walked towards the apple thief. "Do you always take someone else his shirt?" he asked and raised an eyebrow.

Blaise literally gasped, He'd heard of devil fruits all his life but never actually seen one in use. "That is really impressive, to think such things exist." He then realized what the man had said and took in the details of the patchy human, he wondered what possibly could cause this decrepit state. But Blaise was not one to discriminate, "Sure I think my friend here can accommodate the both of us. Follow me."

He leaned towards Gillian whispering, "Sorry needed a disguise. Lets head back." He noticed a large man almost bulldoze him and evaded it lightly, He gestured to Craig and they walked back across the plaza entering the building.

Now, this is unexpected, can't complain though if it'll get me out of this square... Craig dropped the newspaper on the ground and followed this stranger to wherever it was he was going; after all, what was the worst that could happen?

"Are you sure that this is okay with your friend there? I suppose we can wait until we get to this place of his before we take care of pleasantries or introductions..." He had pointed at Gillian as he asked the question, but dropped his hand back to his side as he remembered that noone would see it. Also, the others would just have to trust he was still following them since obviously they wouldn't be able to verify it without asking.

As he walked away toward the apartment, the newspaper he had dropped became visible again as it sat on the ground. Noone thought anything of it, assuming that the wind must have brought it.
