"Shall we begin our final round?" Jack asked. James readied his giant club. "Bring it on, you ingrate..." James needed a lot of force to wield the club so he wasn't as fast as Jack. To Jack's advantage, he moved quikly before James could prepare himself for a swing. "Shinigami Art No. 0...". Jack slashed his dagger across James his body... Only to find out he blocked with his club. And now Jack was close and James had prepared for a good swing. "Matador throw!" he screamed while doing a sidesweep with his club. Jack was just able to block the brunt of the move with his sword. The club was too big however and his block was broken and Jack crashed into a broken table a few feet away.

As Jack got up, tossing the table pieces to the side, he prepared his Swan Song for this battle. The hit took his toll and Jack couldn't take another hit like that. "You know James, that's a fierce hit you got there... if I were some Grandpa with arthritis...". Jack taunted him to lure out the hit. James didn't care for the slightest. "I'm not gonna fall for one of your tricks, Jack.", "Fine, if you're scared to lose." Jack added while using his middlefinger to pull down his eye, like a child would taunt. "GGGGGGRRRR, Make your peace Jack and prepare to meet YOUR MAKER!" he screamed while charging towards Jack, preparing his club for a good hit on Jack's head. The dumb tricks worked best as always.

As he had the club at it's highest point, Jack put the plan in action. "Smoke Trick!". By throwing a smoke bomb right in between them, the small area was surrounded by black smoke. James charged into it regardless. During the smokescreen Jack anticipated the swing and made a small run to slide behind James and slash his knees after he swung. The swing came and James was about to celebrate as he heard a small whisper... "Tricked you...". A scream was heard and a slashing sound was made. When the smoke cleared Jack was standing behind James, who was on his knees. Blood was somewhat filling the floor around him.

"You've played your aces and lost. Time to fold James...", "Uh..." His knees were slashed open so he couldn't get up. "Do you have any regrets, James?", "I couldn't care less for your pity now Jack...", "Good no regrets... How about you make your last moments something to remember you by...", "You pirates really make the world a better place now, killing off honest shopkeepers while enjoying yourself... You'll suffer a fate worse than mine Jack... You know it don't you! Ugh... Enjoy your life while it lasts Jack... Because I'll be waiting for you in the pits of Hell...". Jack turned around and walked in front of him. "Goodnight James. This time it's game over...". Jack finished him by placing the dagger in his neck, pulling it out again. James fell and dissapeared in the pool of his own blood. "Such a nice day... if you would have just stayed in town, you we'rent be painting your bar red. You could paint the town red and enjoy yourself... Oh well, too late now huh".

Jack went over to the masked guy who looked like he was watching a show and critising it. "Now then..." he as as he was taking a bow: "How was that preformance to your liking?" he asked with a small smile. "Don't think I ignored you and that artistic comment. It was all for the show ofcourse...". Jack was somewhat satisfied. The square was going to get hectic in a few moments so Jack explained the idea to the mysterious man.
"So that's about the plan..." he said after the explenation. Jack took a seat in one of the remaining chairs nearby. "The name is Jack Grimshaw by the way..."

Kove could’ve clapped, but clapping was the choir of the masses, his face would show his enjoyment. Clapping might also be an offense to the dead, and the dead deserved his admiration too. They had fought for their beliefs and had lost on this bitter cruel world of life. Their performance was their last and mourning would take place because of their deaths. The battle between Bull and his youngling was exquisitely done as it was in its final quartet the actors were driven to make a stand. Neither gave up to the end, they stood firm on their beliefs and though the youngling won, Bull was able to die on his own note. Bull died and ushered forth a comment that might haunt Greed for the rest of his life, and then ever after.

“How was the performance to your liking?” Greed said to him with a flourish not unlike a bow.

Kove took off his mask. The emotionless of his mask changed to the grinning smile on his face and then he erased it for the distance of a critic. He climbed to his feet. “Magnificent, excellent, breathtaking, stunning… You better tread carefully man, ‘I’ll be waiting for you in the pits of hell’. Epic…” Kove had found the performance of his day. That was much better than Bob’s arguing skills.

“The name is Jack Grimshaw by the way,” Greed said.

“Names, names, names, names, names, names, names, names!” Kove said rather loudly, while waving his arms. It was aggravating when someone just introduced themselves without even letting him guess. Names were boring, not fun at all when they were just names created by the man, society. Jack Grimshaw wasn’t a name that was sounded individual; Kove had known many Jacks and even on one occasion, used that name for himself. Names had to be unique, this person was better than just being an ordinary Jack. The only historical Jack he could think of was a weak kid that climbed a vine to Elbaf. Wait…wait…that could never happen.

“Sorry about that,” Kove said as he sat down. “Your name might be whatever you said it was,” Kove didn’t want to say the name aloud, “but what I want to know is ‘what do you call yourself’” Kove’s smile stretched ear to ear. He wasn’t looking for a simple repeat of what the man said before, he wanted maybe a nickname.

“Tyr,” Kove said introducing himself. He couldn’t avoid lying; it just came so effortlessly to him. The brilliant fight had got him in the right mood to act. He got up and stuck out his right hand to Jack, his hand hurt a little but at least he still had a hand. “And this is Mithra,” he said pointing to the Mask with his left hand. He didn’t normally name the mask, it was just him after all, but since it was already involved in the fight, he couldn’t see any harm. Unless…unless this person found him a little unhinged, but Kove wore a mask around, delighted about battle, and acted if life was one large play. Kove was a little unhinged.

Jack figured he had sat down next to a loonybin... His composure was somehow held together, yet a guy who won't accept a given name nad in turn names his own mask himself could just about drive him into insanity. While Jack sat down his eyes started fading back to the light blue they were before his focus technique. As his anger resided into relief, the crimson color faded away...

“Your name might be whatever you said it was, but what I want to know is ‘what do you call yourself?”. Jack was struck in awe by that comment... "Well, i don't call myself anything else but that... I don't know if it works but people call me Trick Star. I guess you know why if you followed my smokescreen trick...". Something told Jack this wasn't what the man was hoping for. Jack got up again to sheet his katana back. He took the sheet off the barcounter and placed it on the sword. He put the dagger back in his pantspocketsheet.

As he sat down again he felt the pain again of the blow from before. It was nothing serious but left quite some aftermath for Jack. "Tyr," the man introduced himself. “And this is Mithra,” he said while pointing at the mask. Jack knew it for sure now, the man was a few screws short... Didn't matter much, Jack had his own quirks too. "Nice to meet you two then..." he replied with a mildy dumbstruck tone. After that Jack fell back in his chair, hanging a little on it's arms. He took a look at the rest of the bar. "Now I'm definetly never gonna find that pack of cards again..." he mentioned to himself.

As the evening was breaking out the town was starting to fill with an orange sunlight. It was truley a beautiful day. Jack and Tyr sat in the bar as slight orange shined trough the broken windows. "Such a nice day... and if Malcolm wouldn't have shown up today I might have sneaked out for a break... Man, that guy gave me some problems... but now I'm free... I can enjoy days like these again..." he said looking outside. "Maybe I can do some art again... Why not!" He said as he got up. "I'm gonna make a symbolic sculpture of what happend here today..." he said slightly smiling. Tough this was a huge smile on Jack's standards... "Hhm Hhm... What about you Tyr? What would you do on a nice day like this one? Considering we did'nt have to do this plan of course..."

As the evening broke trough on the town, the mayor was stolling down, humming, to his favorite teahouse after he had a lovley day at the beach. He was thinking about wich tea he would have today to top off an already perfect day. Earl Grey would make the evening pleasant, and Simple Green would perfect his afternoon. However red tea was also nice this time of year... The man was humming as he approached the teahouse and was more then glad too see it was not that crowed. He was also glad there were no pirates sighted this day. This day was simply marvelous for him.

“Well, I don’t call myself anything else but that…I don’t know if it works but people call me Trick Star. I guess you know why if you followed my smoke trick.”It made perfect sense thought Kove. Smoke tricks and Trick Star…or would that be Trick Smoke, he hadn’t seen any stars yet. But maybe star had to do with the nemyt seeing stars because of the smoke or that Trick Star was actually a ‘Star’ like a rock star. Nevertheless Kove liked it.

“Trick Star, I like it. Definitely original and it tells more about your personality than just Jack, eh Trick Star?” Kove said to his companion. He noticed as Trick Star sat down that his injuries from the badly were not instantly healing. Kove was appreciative of this too, as it proved that they were only human. It was no good if the actors were simply untouchable, they need to show that they were mortal people rather than gods…yet.

“Nice to meet you two then,” Trick Star said to him…well them in Trick Star’s mind at the moment. Kove let out a laugh, but he didn’t want his opponent to feel that he was too strange.

“It’s nothing like that,” Kove replied. “I just give this mask another name so that if we are in battle, someone can call it ‘Mithra’ as to not give away my secret identity. I wouldn’t want my enemies to find out my real name.” Even saying that there was no chance of anyone finding out his birth name, because the fact that he was almost over his head in false titles. He had abandoned his birth name before setting out on the sea. He was Kove now. It was his true name now. But to this man, he was Tyr. Who knows what he would be to the next person?

“It would not be good for the World Government to find out who I am” yet. Kove said. “Even if I am a pira—adventurer,” Kove covered the word. Even if this man was a bar brawler, who’s to know if he was actually law abiding. “Who wants to have a bounty yet? What do you think Trick Star?”

“Maybe I can do some art again…Why not! I’m gonna make a symbolic sculpture of what happened here today…” A sculpture? Ah a sculpture, so Trick Star wasn’t just a swordsman but also an artisan? It was better to have people versed in more than just battle so it was a welcome change to Kove. “Hhm Hhm…What would you do on a nice day like this one? Considering we didn’t have to do this plan of course…”

“Well I consider this a perfect afternoon” said Kove. An argument, a battle, a chance to meet people, yeah. “And we have it all set for an encore as the day continues, so pretty darn good. The only thing that could improve it would be a relaxing chat over a cup of tea…Ah we’re doing that now” nix the tea.

“Who wants to have a bounty yet? What do you think Trick Star?”. A bounty means threat. Threat means fame in a pirates world. Jack needed the fame and money to achieve his dream, so a bounty was good for him... But he couldn't tell him about his dreams, not yet that was for sure. "Marines and bounty hunters going after you all the time? No, thank you..." Jack lied on his usual calm tone. his poker experience made him an exelent bluffer or in real life a good liar. Not that he lied all the time, people just couldn't tell the diffrence. Jack wasn't one to share or show feelings anyways.

Jack's taste of art was a rather strange one. In this case it would end up in a pile of broken furniture, somewhat arranged and voila! A beautiful piece of art! However that would only be Jack's opinion. Maybe he should go for something grand this time... Really top off the so-called show Tyr mentioned... Just then the perfect idea popped up. It would be the grand finalé of the grand finalés. Jack smiled a little as he went behind the bar.

“Well I consider this a perfect afternoon”
Tyr continued. The only thing that could improve it would be a relaxing chat over a cup of tea…Ah we’re doing that now”, "Without the tea if I might add... You know, theres this little tea house not to far from the square. They do take-away aswel, so I could use the bar's Den Den Mushi to call 'em and order some?". Jack explained the the tea house more in detail, pointing out it was about 3 houses away from the square and the name was "Afternoon Delight". "Or maybe not... I have to set up some stuff here, for the grand finalé and some delivery boy could be a good witness. I hate to ask, but could you get the tea please? I'm a fan of Green tea right now, and would enjoy a cup!" Jack replied with a small smile.

Jack walked out of the main room and went to James' office. The only thing that mattered was the safe in his room. James was lazy and didn't even have a combination lock. It was a simple matter of picking a keylock. As he opened the safe he saw a nice amount of Beli lieing there. No time to count but since they were stacks of 1000 beli each, it would be a nice haul for sure. James seemed to planned moving it to the bank as there were 3 small suitcases standing besides the safe. Jack filled 2 of them and placed them at the door. Instead of the last one he took a backpack from his room to fill up with money. Now he needed to make the sculpture. Where? On the roof, for everyone to see.

As he walked into the main room again, placing the money somewhere near the back door, he took out some tools from behind the barcounter. He had never made an explosive of this caliber before, let alone a timed one. He had made timed smoke bombs before but they had no intention of following his timeschedule... Maybe a simple detonator... That would work just fine. He started working on a detonator as he tought of placing the mechanism near the gastank in the basement to add to the explosion. Now he needed some gas of his own to cause a small explosion... James was bound to have a jerrycan somewhere so he was good to go. Just a few minutes and was ready to make the sculpture on top of the roof.

So we are of the same opinion, bounties cause nothing but trouble. Kove didn’t want to tangle with the world until he had enough experience under his belt. And this was not that day! As soon as the mask got a bounty, he might switch it out for another gimmick. Wouldn’t it be funny if he was known all around North Blue as several different pirates? When he was finally ready, he would reveal his face and wreck the Grand Line. And become the Pirate King…nah, who would want that?

This town has everything, thought Kove as Trick Star mentioned the tea shop, why not take a trip down there and enjoy the day. A walk after the battle was always nice. And it would leave time for Trick Star to work on his sculpture in peace. Kove didn’t want to interrupt someone while making a work of art.

“I hate to ask, but could you get the tea please? I’m a fan of Green tea and I could use a cup.” Trick Star said to him.

“It really takes time for you to get out of the bartender mindset doesn’t it? Well if you can continue to act the part I can at least be the delivery boy for this scene,” said Kove in reply. “I’ll need this though.” Kove reached across the counter and took another apron from a hook on the wall. “I need to get the state of mind if I’m to play the part.”

Kove put the apron. It looked horrible. Kove took it off. Maybe he didn’t need it. He would never be a bartender. But before leaving the bar, he grabbed the ornate chair, who’s to know what would happen to it if he left in this destroyed bar. It was much safer with him. He dragged it out of the bar with the familiar sound of it hitting the wood floor and then the road.

So to get to the tea shop, he would need to go through the square. And all the bounty hunters were in the square, but he wasn’t a bounty worthy pirate so he had nothing to fear from them. No one had seen him and Trick Star take out Bull and the goons, so he was in the clear. So he replaced the worry with confidence and purpose as he walked through, he wondered where that kid was, but it was also not his problem. The kid was just a kid, not an actor like himself and Trick Star, so who would care.

As he approached the tea shop, he noticed that some gentlemen type had just walked aside. Now this guy was styling, but upstaging Kove like that; not cool. Kove realized that he should have dressed better if he was going to associate with the upper class…nah, if he wanted to be he could also be a gentleman. All he needed was a name. Tyr wouldn’t hold now, he needed a title: sir, count or duke.

Kove went into the café. The line wasn’t long, good, but still long enough for a small conversation, better. Kove wiped out his smile and attempted his best noble accent as he spoke to the gentleman in front of him. “Excuse me good sir,” he said, “I’m new to this esteemed neighborhood and I wonder what you would recommend for tea.” Kove kind of knew what tea was good, but this way he would get an opinion and a chance for conversation a win-win scenario.

After a few mintues, Jack had his makeshift bomb and detonator ready. It was small, about the size of a football in soccer. Al he needed to do was place this near the gas tank in the basement, push the button and enjoy the fireworks. Not really fireworks, rather a sea of flames. He was ready so now he could make his so-called sculputre. "Well then... I think I'll take some of the chairs here and there..." he started talking to himself on a low tone as if he was mumbling but he was rather whispering of some sorts.

As he had dragged some broken chairs, other wood and some rope to the roof, he started building his "sculpture". Breaking off straight pieces with his katana, the sculpture took form. To keep that form to it's all, he used to ropes to tie it together. After some time it looked like some busted crusifix or rather a huge plus sign... "Perfect!" Jack commented on his own art. Jack liked it tough most would think this is some kids prank. However most did not know what happend here today and this cross was the perfect symbol to sum it up. The masked man named Tyr and he had fought. James died and this would be his grave. "Shinigami Art: Crusifix Set-Up!". Jack made a pun on his own techniques and chuckeled a little. He was happy how his work turned out so he didn't mind.

Now he needed to set up the bomb and wait for Tyr to come back with the tea. he went down to the bar again and moved on to the basement. He had many memories here... There were a number of poker rooms where he played Texas Hold 'em Poker with the high rollers. There was a small casino of sorts aswel with crapstables and roullette and such. Usually it was full of guests here but with the commotion going on, the people were in some other bar. As he moved on to the back room, the memories of him and James playing poker rushed him by. "I guess he wasn't all that bad..." he said to himself on his usual calm tone. As he walked in the room he headed for the back. There was a small storage area for chips and such and of course, the gastank that was used to heat up to bar. He placed the bomb near the tank and held his detonator with him, makoing sure not to press the button early. he had not intention on heading to the grave with James. He went back up to the main room of the bar and sat down in the only good chair that was left. "And now we wait for the tea..."

Somewhere not to far from the bar and the townsquare, the "Afternoon Delight" tea shop had a rather pecular guest this afternoon. Or maybe even 2. As the mayor stood in line to order his tea, a masked man dragging along a chair walked up behind him. “Excuse me good sir,” he said, “I’m new to this esteemed neighborhood and I wonder what you would recommend for tea.”, "BLIMEY!". The mayor was spooked a little by his appearance. He was deeply in tought and didn't expect someone to casually adress him in the tea shop. Deeply in tought may be his own excuse as he was trying to remember the song he heard the other day so he could hum it while enjoying his tea. "Well good sir..." he said after he had regained his senses: "There are many variations of tea. Most basicly we divide them in six basic groups, White Tea, Green Tea, Black Tea, Yellow Tea and Post-fermented Tea. And then we also have the popular blends of those basic groups called, naturally, Blended and Flavoured Teas with examples such as Earl Grey and Irish Breakfest.". The man went on and on about tea, it's taste, it's preparation and even his opinion about Black tea appearing rather red, and being mistaken for a new variant called Red Tea. "Excuse me? Mayor sir?", the woman at the counter was waiting for him to place his order and adressed him. "BLIMEY!". The mayor shook again but quickly realised that it was his turn. "Alas, here ends my advise on tea... If I were you I would take some simple Green Tea, good sir. The others take some advanced tea drinking experience to handle...". The last part was rather smug of him. The mayor moved on and placed his order, Pu-erh tea and a whole teapot of it. He tought rather much of himself, ordering a rare and exquisite tea with a very specific preparation method, while the gentleman behind him would propbably follow his advise and take the simple Green Tea variant they had in stock today. He had a smug little smile as he moved towards his usual table at the window.

Malcolm gave the stranger a wink and dashed off toward the towns center. Jumping up onto a near by roof Malcolm stared down as the mob wandered the town looking for him. Putting two fingers in his mouth Malcolm let out a loud piercing whistle. "Alright you guys there is plenty of me to go around!"

Malcolm pulled out his chain diving into the town square as people rushed him. Trying not to kill anyone Malcolm did his best to break legs and not necks. Bullets zipped past his head as he dove to the side. Kicking an ugly man right on the nose Malcolm sent him flying backwards into his fellows. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out the smoke bomb and smashed it on the cobble stone.

A large cloud of smoke enveloped him, dashing forward Malcolm punched anyone who got in his way. Shifting into his raven form Malcolm flew above the cloud to get a better look at the mayhem he caused.

The man certainly likes his tea, thought Kove as the mayor continued his tirade on the many types of tea in North Blue. He recommended simply Green tea, but ordered some fancy tea for himself. Kove noted the tightened facial features and the slight curve of the lips; this man thought he had hoodwinked Kove. Kove didn’t exactly mind this time, it was not exactly as he was fooled. Trick Star wanted Green tea, and he wanted to talk to this individual, who wanted to one up him, win-win for all three of them.

“Thank you for your time,” Kove said to the man, and then ordered green tea. “It would seem like you have much more experience in this field of expertise than myself. So I’ll settle for simple green, and let you handle—”

A small explosion rocked the café and shouts could be heard from outside the window. Obviously the kid that Trick Star had sent out to be massacred as a distraction had made his last stand. Hopefully it would buy enough time for Trick Star to finish his art.

“Damn Pirates,” said Kove as he absentmindedly palmed a few spoons from the counter. No one cared at the moment because they were all looking out the window for the sense of the commotion. “Can’t they just let us relax for one moment? I don’t really want to spend my day chasing low bounty pirates.”

Kove sat down, again pulling out the chair from the table and replacing it with the one he was carrying around. Four villagers were one thing, an armed mob another. Kove wasn’t going to risk getting caught up in with Bull’s entire stampede. He made sure his mask was on his shoulder before taking a sip of tea. “Pirates,” he said, shaking his head.

And then it took off... Jack heard the mob from the square. "Time to get a move on, I guess..." he said as he stood up and went for the back door. "Sad really... I had hoped I could get the tea before the commotion... Oh well...". Jack picked up the 2 suitcases and put the backpack with cash on. his sword was strapped to his waist as he casually walked out of the bar crossed the street and took a seat on a bench across the bar. It was the main street and those guys he met earlier were bound to pas here. If of course they were planning on getting away. The street led straight to the docks so it was a perfect getaway route. Jack took a look at the ships that were docked. "I wonder wich one of those is Malcolm's... Or maybe Tyr has a cooler ship..." he said while sitting relaxed waiting for his partners in crime.

"BLIMEY~!" the mayor screamed inside the tea house. His perfect afternoon was ruined with that commotion going on in the square. “Can’t they just let us relax for one moment? I don’t really want to spend my day chasing low bounty pirates.” . "Pirates? Chasing? soooooo... You... You... are a bounty hunter?". The mayor was thinking about a way to make his afternoon or evening get better. "You said low bounties, good sir? I'll double whatever they are worth and even share my tea with you if you would be willing to help out the town... Please, good sir I beg you!" the mayor just got on his knees as a wounded bounty hunter from Bull's Stampede walked in, or rather crawled in. "Damm that kid... That chain of his imbolized about 15 men... 10 men are stuck there and now that kid's flying and creating some kind of smoke all over the place...". The man set himself straight against the wall as he asked for some water. "BLIMEY!" the mayor screamed as the man spoke. "Here, good sir...". The mayor gave the masked gentleman his own teapot with that exquiste tea of his. It was still full. "Please... Just help us...".

The fight had gone on long enough spotting the dock, Malcolm angled toward it hoping to find a ship in port. He realized that the bar was under him. It looked like the guy who gave him the smoke bomb was outside talking to someone. Diving Malcolm landed on the bar roof. Shifting into human form Malcolm sat down and said in a loud voice. "So...... You feel like getting out of here?" Smiling from ear to ear Malcolm pulled out one of his daggers and started to clean his nails. "I mean.... you can stay here if ya want or you can come with me and be a pirate. It'll be fun I promise. I'm only looking for reliable people and you seem the sort."

“You…You…are a bounty hunter?” the gentleman said.

“The best,” said Kove. No one would confuse him with a pirate now. He had his tracks clear. “I’m part of D.E.I.T.Y,” Kove didn’t say the individual letters, rather just said deity, but he emphasized it up crunching his fingers up and down while speaking. He didn’t want to go into explaining it either because he did not know what it stood for, yet.

“We go around destroying pirate footholds wherever we can,” Kove continued. “This will no longer be known as the pirate age when we are through with it. It will be the age of Gods. After all Gods are not created, they are born.” He continued to speak and subsequently interrupt the mayor. If he wanted to be believed he needed to be adamant. Though most bounty hunters were the scum of the earth, always finding reasons to cause damage to the surrounding on the guise of fighting pirates, Kove wanted to try out a new kind of bounty hunter.

“You might know me as Darkness Thane,” Kove said extending a hand, in which the mayor thrust a pot of tea. Kove shut his mouth and looked down, confused. He had been too busy making an appealing character and exuding confidence that he missed out on what the man had been saying.

“Please...just help us.”

“You have my word,” Kove said as he placed three tea cups on the plate with the tea. It was a balancing art worthy of a bounty hunter. “I’ll rid the town of those pirates.” He tried to tip his hat before realizing that he didn’t have a hat. He did have a mask on, but tipping it would go against wearing it in the first place. So instead he opted for a salute.

“You stay here,” Kove said to the wounded bounty hunter. The one who had said, that the kid was flying. Not possible. He had obviously meant that the kid was fleeing. That sounded realistic. He patted the man’s shoulder, which elicited a shriek from the man. “Darkness is on the case.”
He exited the tea shop with the chair in tow. He liked his current persona; he might have to try it again. The Bull’s parade or whatever were meandering around the square looking for the glass shatterer. They gave him a look as he walked through. He was sight to be seen. Kove was wearing a mask, holding a tea set with one hand and in the other, a chair.

“It’s all good, men,” Kove said to the gathering. “I’ve been enlisted on the case.” He pointed back at the tea shop. “Nothing can escape Darkness, I’ll eliminate this pesky…pest.” The first part was bravado…check. Next was…“The first thing Bounty Hunters need to know is that the bounty could be anywhere. They could be this way.” He pointed to the tea shop, a few people looked. “Or they could have escaped that way,” he pointed in an exaggerated way, another few people looked. But most looked annoyed; annoy them beyond belief…check. “But one thing we know is that he couldn’t just fly away.”

Kove couldn’t grasp the look on their faces. It was like they doubted him. They must’ve hung out with Bull in his bar; that explained it. They were all tainted by the place. Kove shivered, he had set foot there, he didn’t want to, but he had. Good thing he hadn’t drunk anything, or the mindlessness might have rubbed off on him. “Well whatever,” he said. “You lot can stay here. I don’t need any of you to get in my way. I might be strong, but I cannot protect all of you. I could not bear to see all of your deaths on my conscience. Fights must be fought one on one, so that fate can decide the outcome.”

He grabbed the chair again. No one seemed to want to follow him. Either they were going to let him deal with the pirate, or they wanted to wait until he had fallen in battle. Too bad none of those things were going to a happen. He followed a side street and found the bar. Trick Star was sitting on a bench and the kid was sitting on the rooftop. How the hell did he get up there? He was also cleaning his nails with a dagger? It seemed pretty darn inefficient to Kove. A dagger? For nails? Oops, the kid had been talking. Kove got closer to hear the conversation.

He put down the chair near Trick Star’s bench, and sat down. He poured a cup of tea and handed it to Trick Star. He poured another cup for himself. He took off his mask and tried a bit. It was good. “…and be a pirate. It’ll be fun I promise. I’m only looking for reliable people and you seem the sort.”

Reliable…pirates? Was that an oxymoron, or not? But he was getting mighty tired of his island. Though mostly because of the bars. He hadn’t been asked though, he hardly knew the kid. Kove waited to see how Trick Star would respond to this new act. Would this be the part for a soloist or maybe a duet?

Edit: I meant to say that he takes off his mask before taking a drink, Otherwise it's just silly. Changed duo to duet.

OOC Notice

Jack was looking up in the sky as he saw a black bird flying by. "Hhhhmmm?". he was about to fall asleep. No wonder considering the stuff that happened today... An afternoon nap would be just fine... He noticed the bird landed on top of the bar and became Malcolm again. "Devil Fruits are really a funny thing now huh?" he tought to himself. Just then Tyr walked up to him and poured him a cup of tea from an expensive looking teapot. "Wait, wha... Oh nevermind... Thanks for the cup Tyr!" he replied with a smile. Malcom strated picking his nails with a knife. "How badass does this guy wanna be?" Jack tought to himself. "So...... You feel like getting out of here?". Malcolm had a huge smile on his face, he looked truly happy of what happend today. "I mean.... you can stay here if ya want or you can come with me and be a pirate. It'll be fun I promise. I'm only looking for reliable people and you seem the sort.".

Jack stood up and took a look in the direction of the square. Looks like his Smoke bomb had effect as there was screaming and smoke slowly rising to the sky. This kid knew how to cause a commotion. Besides, he looked legit to Jack. Wealth, Fame, Power... He could attain the first two by hanging out with Malcolm... and at the moment he didn't have any other option. "Well, if you are asking me you should ask the man with the tea aswel. Wich is to say the least... A very fine tea, Tyr." Jack stood up and in looked Malcolm's way. he was standing before his makeshift Crusifix. Quite the iconic image. No more doubts:"Count me in Captain..." he said with a tricky smile on his face and his eyes somewhat dimmed. He was looking supercool and intimidating.

"Now I just have to play my final Ace on this town... The burning Ace of Spades..." he said looking at the front entrance of the bar. He drank his tea up quikly, wich was a bad idea since it was boiling hot. None of the less he went inside for the jerrycan he used before and made a thick line of gas from the bar's front door to the building across. "Let's get a move on guys!" he said picking up the suitcases and backpack with cash. As he started running towards the docks he gave one of the cases to Malcolm and took out the detonater. When he was at a safe distance the climax was set into motion: "Here comes the River... and it's simply a Blast!" he said pushing the detonator. The bar blew up just as planned in a sea of flames, and the flames extened over the street onto the next building. Jack used the gas to connect them to cut off the street from the docks.

The crusifix he made was burning aswel, giving off an unholy feeling, just as Jack wanted it to. Yet with the burning of the bar, his memories flash by and a certain sadness rose up to him, like when he was in the basement. He had a sad look on his face for a moment, but quikly corrected himself hoping noone noticed. He never liked showing his true emotions and hated it that he let himself slip just now. However he was going to be a pirate with a captain maintaining a bounty of 11 million... Arriving at the docks, Jack looked around. "The flames should keep 'em away for a while. Sooooooo~... Any of you guys got a ship?" he asked.

"BLIMEY~!". The mayor fainted as he walked out of the door. Seeing that Sea of flames in his town took his toll. and it was spreading too so his mind just coulnd't handle it. The mayor fell down in a very dramatic pose with his legs spread out and one his arms pointing up and the other rather down. It was the end for him... The whole week or maybe even the month was ruined...

One of the guys Tyr beat up made it out alive and in time and was watching the flames. "Da... Da... Damm it!" he yelled. "Jack is gonna pay... And that masked weirdo too!" he said grinding his teeth while he crawled towards the square. The rest of the crew ran down the street and cauth up to him. "It was Jack and some masked guy who blew up the bar... Myhtra or so was it? Ugh...", the man collapsed out of fatigue. The group was still cut off of the docks so there had to go around. by the time they got there those guys would have set sail. About five of them decied to go around and tryi to catch them. Chasing a lost cause was never fun, but all they could do was try.

"Well, if you are asking me you should ask the man with the tea aswel. Wich is to say the least... A very fine tea, Tyr." Shrugging at the response Malcolm leaned forward and pushed himself off the roof jumping toward Jack and the teapot man. "Count me in Captain..." Jack said as Malcolm Landed lightly on his feet he held out his hand to the teapot man.

"Pleasure to meet ya' the name is Malcolm D. High. Jack ran inside the bar as Malcolm introduced himself to the new guy. "It'd be a wonder if you would sail with us. Could always use another pair of hands on a ship." Malcolm turned around as Jack came running out handing him a case and proceeded to run toward the docks.

Looking at the the guy next to him Malcolm gave him a wink and said in an excite voice "Lets go! Running after Jack toward the docks some ships appeared to be in working order. Malcolm seemed down right giddy with excitement as the bar exploded behind him. "The flames should keep 'em away for a while. Sooooooo~... Any of you guys got a ship?"

Closing his eyes Malcolm started to spin around with his finger held out in front of his body. Stopping suddenly his was pointing at a decent looking vessel it looked sea worthy plenty of rigging and sails stored. Looking at Jack Malcolm thumbed over to the boat "Thats my ship." Malcolm let out a booming laugh as he dashed toward the gangplank.

“Pleasure to meet ya’, the name is Mal—” said the man who was until previously on the bar roof. Kove didn’t like the rest of the name so once again it ceased to exist, at least in his mind. This man would have to live without a name until Kove thought up a suitable one. “It’d be a wonder if you would sail with us. ‘Could always use another pair of hands on a ship.”

Sailing wouldn’t be too bad now as he had already made a few enemies and the town would no longer be so open to him. Why not get of this god forsaken rock? Anyway street theatre was always so much better with more actors. Maybe trick Star and the kid would compliment his genius. Trick Star was indeed an artist judging from his sculpture on the rooftop. It looked sort of like a T? For Trick Star, maybe? This guy was somewhat vain, thought Kove, though he didn’t mind, an actor should have pride in his life.

“Sailing? I know all about sailing,” said Kove. A brilliant navigator he was, at heart anyway; really not so much. “Anyways I think we’ve overstayed our welcome.” He said as the building burst into flames, along with Trick Star’s T. “This flame will shower a light on our darkened doorstep, and even darkness cannot stop all.” They wouldn’t get this, but he had a lot of fun saying it. By the time he finished saying it, they were already legging it down the street. Kove leapt to his feet, the tea sloshed about, but thankfully stayed in the teapot. He grabbed the chair he had been sitting on and ran after them. “Lead on…” he didn’t want to say that horrid name. “…Captain. Our destiny awaits.”

When they had reached the shipyard, Captain had already spun his choice of ships. Kove wanted to try too, but his random choice was a rowboat, in fact it was the rowboat that he had indeed used to come here. Kove retracted his hand. He climbed onto the boat with the resolution to spin the wheel, if it had one, whatever happened it would of course be epic. He took a sip of tea. Splendid. The gentleman knew what he was talking about. Though Green would’ve been fine.

“Cast off,” Kove said. Hopefully it would do some good. “We put our lives in the hands of the Ocean.”
