Another normal day was dawning in Logue town. Busy island's port was slowly waking up: fishermen were preparing their boats for voyage, checking their nets, patching sails, exchanging predictions for today's weather forecasts. It was all part of their life, almost like ritual, performed every day without consideration what it means. Well, not like if they stopped doing it every day something bad would happen, but for outsider it would be strange to see same thing every morning over and over again. But this day was special, there was going to happen something what would spice up this day and engrave in their memory for at least a week, something what would leave fishermen standing frozen in their ship with mouths open wide and eyes popped out. As that something emerged out of water, he shook water from his hair and garbs, slowly looked around and silently walked across dock. They followed strange creature with eyes, terrified to make sudden actions. For their surprise, the creature quickly stopped and turned around and looked them all with piercing gaze and shouted: "Great Spirit of Seas greets you all this beautiful morning and wishes you good luck and ask not to harm young and weak fish! Shada Go Rahhh, Leezh Bur Hallg!!" The fishman finished his speech with strange hand gestures and continued his way to the city. Absolutely, fishermen won't for this morning for at least a week. The city as well was waking up, streets were slowly filling up with people rushing to do their daily jobs and tasks. Barely noticing fishman walking among them and curiously looking around with round black eyes. Turning his long neck, Dakelth was able to explore every side road he walked past. After an hour of getting across suburbs of Logue town, until he was standing in front of main city square. It was almost noon and clearing was full with dazzling crowd, in the middle of it, Nantengo saw high platform. Though this is where the pirate era started, Mooray did not knew history. Sighting fishman again looked around, it seemed like he was looking for somebody, or something. "How am I supposed to find them in this big group of people. Besides none of them looks like warriors at all, more like herd of fish aimlessly moving around in bottomless ocean... What did Spirits think, when they send me here... No, my faith must not quiver!" Remembering past night's vision, three voices echoed in his head: "Look you must..." "...for the warriors of fate..." "... in the east..." "...where mountain of fate starts..." "...with open heart you must..." "...help everyone in your journey..." Mooray shook his head and slowly "dived" into crowd of people. Time was passing by like wind, while search was still fruitless. |

Most bars at Loguetown were full of low-lifes and thieves, however there is no better place to drown your self in booze than in a bar. Seraph needed a drinking buddy if he wanted to extend the joy of beer, but he had to be careful about who he would pick. He believed in "the more the merrier, unless they stab you in the throat". After scanning a crowd of people nobody looked remotly fun to drink with, maybe he wasn't looking hard enough or he was feeling a bit picky today. He continued his search until he saw someone stand out amongst the people. A fishman, wearing clothes that made him look somewhat tribal. Seraph knew a fishman might not be the best choice, as the last fishman he had ever met punched him in the gut for making contact. He knew that one stubborn fishman wasn't enough to invoke a steriotype in his mind and began to approach the fishman with caution and enthusiam. Soon after arriving just behind the fishman Seraph took in a deep breath and tapped him with just half of his full force on his back. "Hey, what's up!?" he asked the fishman loudly regardless of what his reaction might be. |

Where were all these people going? What was the purpose of all this hurry? Didn't they need to take of their jobs? When are they going home? It was real mystery to Nantengo, city life was way too quick for him, he was missing sound of leaves fluttering in the wind, birds' chirping high in the sky. And ground, it was all padded with stones, he could not feel the land and its inhabitants auras. The more time he spends among people, the more he understood about flaws of this society - they need to stop look at themselves, at each other and accept natures feeling into their hearts. Dakelth stood there for couple of seconds deep in his thoughts, as someone came from behind him and greeted him patting his back. Slowly turning his neck, Mooray looked at male human standing there, he was a little shorter, then fishman and looked around twenties. "Huh? Sky is up, don't you see it?" replied Dakelth a bit confused. Only after turning his body to face stranger, witch doctor noticed that human had two gun holsters on his belt. Looking a bit uneasy about guns, Nantengo set his eyes on the stranger. Edited by WolfZ, May 9 2010, 07:23 AM.

"Huh? Sky is up, don't you see it?" Seraph took a sigh of relief of that this guy didn't take offense towards him, and that he had a good sense of humor, or maybe he was being completely serious but Seraph could not tell the difference. "Heh, your a funny guy" chuckled Seraph. He noticed the fishman had focused his attention towards the two holsters on his belt. ("Crap, he probably thinks I was going to mug him, gah!!") He thought to himself, then he had the perfect I idea to change the atmosphere. "I noticed you seem to have focused on my guns, so I will show you a trick" Seraph whipped out both pistols and proceeded to spin them, juggle them and toss them around, before finally withdrawing them. He thought that hopefully the fishman wouldn't freak out. "I suppose I should really introduce my self, I am Seraph Korp, probably the greatest marksman in Loguetown, maybe even East Blue" He joked. Pamela looked dubiously at the man seated before her. "You realise i hope, that me fixing your ship depends entirely on your abilaty to pay me." She said with a sigh. "Listen miss, me and my mates have been Traveling for a long time on the seas...they are harsh, perhaps, just once you could shave the price a bit." the man implored. Pamela grinned.... "I have to assume you are joking." she said venomously. "You witch!" the man roared "How can you be so cold?" Pamela loked up at him and yawned theatricaly. The man lost his temper and drew a dagger. "Now listen here you li-" Before the man had time, even to finish his sentence, Pamela had punched him right in the middle of the forehead. He reeled back, blood spattering from his head. "That didnt break your skull." pamela said darkly. "But the next one will if you dont put that away." she said. She was still smiling. The man ran quickly from the shop. "Good Freaking riddence." Pamela said with a contemtuous noise. She had had just about enough of hecklers, for her entire life, and then some, yet they still insisted on continuing to exist. She sighed, and grabbed her coat off it's hook. Putting it on, she marched from the shop, locking the six locks behind her...cautious wasnt quite what it was, more like she just didnt feel like dealing with the body of anyone who broke into her shop. Pamela began walking down the main street, pausing to look up at the rebuilt platform... "Still standing eh?" she asked with a grin. Then, she set off her location? her favorite bar...unfortunately some of alchohol's wonders were lost on her, as she seemed to be entirely resistant to getting drunk. Still, the atmosphere in most bars was enough to lift ones spirits. As she walked pamela glanced over at the people crowding the street...What a variation. There were marines on the sidelines, pirates everywhere (or seemingly so) and a healthy dose of more odd charachters, high among them, a tall fishman. She shrugged...didnt really concern her. she walked purposefully towards her favorite bar. Pushed open the door, and sat down. The bar tender laughed heartily. "Well Well WEll. How is the master carpenter doing today?" he asked, sliding an ale down to her. "Not bad" pamela said with a grin "Potential customer got a little violent, so I had to put him in his place." she said. "Ouch...how much is he bleeding?" he asked wincing. "He'll live." she said noncomitaly. |

Well guns juggling looked kinda interesting and showed Seraph skills with guns. Dakelth didn't had any experience with guns, but he assumed that this act was above normal skills level. "Nice to meet, sir. I'm called ...." that moment fishman froze, as his mind came into understanding that he didn't knew what was his name. Well he knew exactly what were his names, but one of them was already dead (personality at least) and other was burdened by hundred lives of Shalkgdan tribe people. A huge mission was before him granted by Great Spirits of Nature and he could not go into personal problems. Swallowing down all his problems, he continued: "Nantengo, the Tidewater... I am not famous in any field..." Looking at Korp a bit curious, Mooray asks: "How may I help you, human's son?" |

Seraph looked puzzled but he somewhat understood him. His name explained the tribal atire, and he had finally learnt his name. Plus he didn't get punched in the face by a huge fishman so everything was going smoothly for him. ("Nantengo huh? I think i'm going to shorten it down if he doesn't mind, Nant sounds good") Seraph thought to himself. "How may I help you, human's son?". A small glint of success shined in Seraph's eyes, he would be able to get his drinking buddy. A tribal fishman whom had been nicknamed Nant in his mind. "Well you see, i'm down a drinking buddy and you look like you would have fun,They have awesome food at this bar I know and the booze is the best, hopefully I can get it for free" Proclaimed Seraph grinning like an idiot. Seraph began to walk to the bar regardless of Nantengo's descision to stay or go. |

Hearing this strange invite baffled Nantengo and once again left puzzled, as he did not know where Seraph was inviting him. Sadly, there wasn't any time to ask, as human walked away without waiting for answer. Dakelth rose his leg in order to follow Seraph, but soon froze and took step back, as he remembered that he is supposed to be looking for strong people to help in his hard quest. Mooray decided not to get involved into some sort of unclear business and stay here, but suddenly a voice echoed in his head: "...help everyone in your journey..." Fearing the wrath from Great Spirits of Nature Nantengo cowered in fear and picked up pace to catch up with Seraph, who lead confused fishman to yet unknown location. Feeling that he should open conversation, Mooray broke short silence: "Is it always so many people in the center of the city?" asked fishman pointing at busy city square, which now looked like nest of bees, rather than anything else. |

Seraph was happy to see that "Nant" was following him. That would mean his search was over and the journey to the bar had begun. "Is it always so many people in the center of the city?". Seraph slowed down for Nantengo to catch up. "Most of the time yes it is, you see loguetown is a great to stock up on supplys for journeys, people of all kinds come here, pirates, bounty hunters, and there is a marine base not too far from here." Seraph explained "Well there isn't many fishmen in this town and your apperance would scare some, then again there are pirates everywhere, though most of which have low or non-existant bounties" The conversation between Seraph and Nantengo went on until they both reached the bar, most of the conversation was mostly Seraph explaining the history of Loguetown much to Nant's curiosity. As they both entered the bar the scene was up to their imagination what happened. There was a man who just got puched as soon as they entered and he was on the floor bleeding and nobody was doing anything to help him, probably some pirates in the bar, a woman was conversing with the bar owner and a barmaid was taking orders from some mean looking customers. This was relitivly normal. "I hope you can hold your drink Nant" Edited by Beat, May 9 2010, 11:15 AM.

Fishman listened to Seraph's story intently, as they walked to the bar. The view inside was not very friendly, Dakelth felt several pair of eyes piercing him threw. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, but something he had to endure for about half of day today, and he was becoming more resistant to it. He knew well that he was outsider here and probably even exotic, so it was inevitable. Nantengo turning his neck had a good look around the location they were in: high ceilings, couple of windows, around six round and two long square tables with chairs around them, some of them were already occupied by unknown people. It was strange to see bleeding person at the such room, as well the person who did it was standing just near poor person with blood on his fist. "So, helping those in need, you say..." though fishman and started slowly walking towards injured man in order to help him ease the pain, but... At the back of a room he saw something unbelievable, something he had not ever encountered before, something that made him shiver, his back fin to stand up. There it was Spirit of Tree, having conversation with man behind the bar. "How? When? Where?" panicked fishman desperately looking around, trying to understand why everyone is so unaware of Nature's Spirits presence. Without any consideration, he darted threw room and knelt in from of Pamela Knoxx with his face down to the ground and palms on the ground: "How Great Spirit of Tree, I welcome You, with my humble presence! I am sorry, but I am not prepared to perform formal ceremony for sacrifice, but I will now perform simple greeting chant, please, listen to it." Mooray then sat into lotus pose, crossing his legs in front of him. Rose hands into air and started mumbling something in unknown language. "Mb-B'RB GmH RaRbRAGmBbBRRa RbH GgHMaB N-HM GbGmHMb RbBgB RMGgBRa AGmAg RaH AgH G- A- BaMGgGg AbHGhGhGRbGhBGmRb'Ra MbBgARb G-'Gh RbBgGGmGbGGmBb HBa N-HM MbHMGgAgGm'Rb BbBRb RbBgGRa BaRHGh AGmN HRbBgBR BbMN G- GaMRaRb MbAGmGmA RbBGgGg NHM BgHMb G-'Gh BaBBGgGGmBb Bb-HRbRbA GhAGbB NHM MGmAgBRRaRbAGmAg Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA BbGMaB NHM MHa Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA GgBRb NHM AgHMbGm Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA RMGm ARHMGmAg AGmAg AgBRaBRRb NHM Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA GhAGbB NHM AbRN Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA RaAN BbHHAgAaNB Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA RbBGgGg A GgGB AGmAg BgMRRb NHM Mb-B'MaB GbGmHMb BAAbBg HRbBgBR BaHR RaH GgHGmBb N-HMR BgBARRb'Ra AaBBGm AAbBgGGmBb Aa-MRb NHM'RB RbHH RaBgN RbH RaAN GRb G-GmRaGAgB MbB AaHRbBg GbGmHMb MbBgARb'Ra AaBBGm BbHGGmBb HGm Mb-B GbGmHMb RbBgB BbAGhB AGmAg MbB'RB BbHGmGmA HaGgAN GRb A-GmAg GBa NHM ARaGb GhB BgHMb G-'Gh BaBBGgGGmBb Ag-HGm'Rb RbBGgGg GhB NHM'RB RbHH AaGgGGmAg RbH RaBB Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA BbGMaB NHM MHa Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA GgBRb NHM AgHMbGm Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA RMGm ARHMGmAg AGmAg AgBRaBRRb NHM Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA GhAGbB NHM AbRN Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA RaAN BbHHAgAaNB Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA RbBGgGg A GgGB AGmAg BgMRRb NHM Bb-GMaB NHM MHa, BbGMaB NHM MHa Bb-GMaB NHM MHa, BbGMaB NHM MHa Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA BbGMaB, Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA BbGMaB, BbGMaB NHM MHa Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA BbGMaB, Gm-BMaBR BbHGmGmA BbGMaB, BbGMaB NHM MHa G- GaMRaRb MbAGmGmA RbBGgGg NHM BgHMb G-'Gh BaBBGgGGmBb Bb-HRbRbA GhAGbB NHM MGmAgBRRaRbAGmAg" After shaman was finished with his chant, he pulled out dagger and quickly cut his finger. Blood slowly dropped on the floor, as he continued to paint several circles with lines crossing them. After he finished, Nantengo again lowered his head and spoke to Spirit of Tree: "Ohh Great Spirit of Tree, are satisfied with my offering?" |

Pamela watched the man with a look of somewhat detached bemusement. Then as the man cut his finger she raised an eyebrow. "Um......" she said, then, she looked closely at The fishman..." Who do you think I am?" she asked, resisting her urge to simply burst out laughing... "I mean....I can work with wood pretty well, but im not a tree." she said. Then, she smiled, she couldn't help it.... She began to laugh, the bar tender was laughing himself. "You think pamela is some sort of spirit?" he asked, his eyes watering with mirth. "Dont get me wrong, she is the only one around here that can fix stuff good as new, but that dont make her a spirit." he said. Pamela tilted her head, looking at the odd fishman... then. "You intrige me." she said plainly, and then "Take a seat." she said, pointing at the bar stool next to her. She was utterly confused, but she had also noticed how outlandish the fishmans chanting had been.... She wondered what was going on.... She also noticed a second person the fishman had come in with. "Wo's he?" she asked, jerking a thumb his way. |

Just after the fishmans ritual had finished Seraph had to resist the powerful urge to force his palm onto his forehead with full force. Luckily loud laughter came from both the woman at the bar and the bartender himself. Seraph took a huge sigh of relief. He overheard what the woman said about him. "Uh me?" Seraph asked pointing at himself awkwardly. "I'm Seraph a master marksman and that guy, that guy sitting right next you" Seraph moved his finger towards Nantengo, "Is my drinking buddy, and he thinks your like the spirit of the tree's and whatnot, which is understandable because your like, um tall and your probably very bu..." The words that were coming out of his mouth felt like he had seriously fucked up in an abysmal way. He knew how much he fucked up and he can not go back now. |

Instead of awaited gratitude from Spirit of Tree, what Dakelth got was bursts of laugh. Feeling confused and embarrassed because right in front of him was sitting human made out of wood, or rather, wood in shape of a human, not Spirit of Tree. He did not know how to categorize this person, but for sure now he knew that it wasn't Spirit of Nature, as firstly she did not radiate any warmth, second she was wearing clothes. Nantengo knew well that Spirits have to use from things as garment, but why, then he made such rash decision and fooled himself? Answer he probably will never know, but that moment an enlightenment hit his mind, as he finally understood what Great Spirits of Nature had in planned for him. Without any hesitation, Mooray stood up and spoke with clear voice: "Sorry, I mistook you for somebody else, I would be grateful, if you forgot about this accident, so that we could start our acquaintance from blank page." Nantengo, bowed once again, this time while standing and waited for Pamela's answer. He didn't know why, but was acting surprisingly friendly towards humans. Especially considering that about two years ago, he was captain of anti-human fishmen pirate crew, spreading terror in Grand Line. He could not remember countless lives he has taken away with his hands, he could not remember countless times he wished that all humans would disappear from face of sea. But somehow he felt the guilt of all his past actions, which burned deep inside his locked memory. |

Pamela Nodded at Nantengo, and was about to say ok, before she heard Seraph....She glanced over at him...the bartender quietly edged away...Pamelas Eye twitched. "Exuse?" she asked Seraph quietly. She cracked her neck and looked straight at Seraph. Seraph had fucked up... All in an instant, pamela had stood, and Strode across to him. Then, with no hesitation she slapped him across the face....instead of the sound of flesh slapping flesh, there was a loud thump....it would feel as though someone had hit Seraph with a wooden club.... Pamela stood over saraph. "Comments. Are not welcome." she said simply. Then, she walked back to the stool, and sat there, looking across at nantengo "You're drinking buddy is pushingit."she said. The bartender walked over to seraph. "You, are reallllllly lucky." he said quietly. "That you didnt finish your sentence." he said. "You would do well to be carefull around pamela...she canbe a little.....uh....agressive."he said. |

"Gahahah! This man's a kook! Don't you think Pamela?" The bartender laughed so hard he forgot to pass the drinks to the waiting customers. One of them banged on the bar counter, being very impatient with his order. "Give us our DRINKS! Don't just sit there and laugh at the damn fish! Why is that thing here anyway!?" The man said, still banging the counter. "Yea, get that fish freak out of here! He's disturbin' us!" "Yea! What a freak!" The man's friends joined in with the battering of the fish man's already destroyed reputation in logue town. The whole bar went into a frantic rage, all yelling at the witch doctor. The man smiled in the excitement he just made. Almost everyone was drunk and in a false rage for no apparent reason, throwing beer and glasses at the fishman. "Guys, calm down! Don't start anything in MY bar!" The bar tender said, throwing his cleaning towel on the counter furiously. Marines passed by the bar, and saw the commotion, so they decided to go in by their captain's order. Going into the bar, the five marines surrounded the entrance, and their captain soon followed. Slowly, their leader looked around the room as the drunks and low lives stared back in fear. Everyone was most likely sweating, or preparing their wills, because this captain was known for his ferociousness and...personality. The captain looks as if he's a priest of some sort, having a black robe that came down to his feet, with a white tunic on top. He carried a small scythe with him, and has blonde hair and green eyes. His ears are jeweled with death earrings, and he has a cross pendant around his neck. The captain brings his hands up, shouting and closing his eyes. "Hello...everyone. PRAISE DEATH! HE IS REAL JUSTICE! ONLY THE WEAK SHALL DIE, AND THE STRONG SHALL LIVE ON!!!" Bringing his hands down, he knods with a smile. Soon after, the five other marines copied his words, all in sync. "Ah...why if it isn't Barlow Tam, the marine priest of shinigami. What brings you here?" The bartender said in a calm voice. "By any chance, did you stop by to get a drink?" "No, I heard some ruckus coming from here, and thought you needed some assistance. I see...that I am not needed. Very well, since I'm here, pour me a bottle that lovely "poison death delight" you made especially for me..." The five marines dispersed and went to a nearby table, ordering rum and beer. They all looked disturbed and in need of something to get anxiety off their minds. Barlow Tam sat next to Pamela, and looked around smiling. "Hey, by any chance have you seen the glory of Shinigami-sama? He's the savior of all! Repent your injustice, and be saved by him." Edited by NightmarexSugiru, May 9 2010, 07:08 PM.
