Kyte saw and watched Taylor Durben as he went into a rage that one only heard about in fairy tales and stories of old. He ran to the marksman, with his axe, to kill him. The man shot his blunderbuss, and Taylor Durben blocked his vitals with the wide head of the axe. He then swung the axe down, cutting off the man's arm. He was not going to be shooting anyone again. The man dropped the blunderbuss and reached for another one of his pistols. He shot it, but all in vain. The axe came down between the man's eyes, laying him to his eternal slumber.

The man with the scythe had thought quickly, changing the sectioned rods remaining into nunchaku. He swung quickly two times, for the nunchaku allowed this freely. The first swing hit Kyte not far from his left temple, for Kyte had tried to dodge this and changed the location of the hit a bit. The man then swept upwards to his head again; by this time Kyte had regained his balance as the nunchaku slammed against the bone visor.

Kyte could say one thing pretty audibly without teeth. "Game over..." He said as he ran his blade through the man's sternum, piercing his heart. As if that wasn't enough, he quickly used the new kama for what it was made for: reaping. He swung it, severing the man's head. If it didn't sever, it would leave his neck cut open at the very least. Kyte then drew the katana out, turning to face the last remaining man.

He had launched a ball onto the floor. It fell in half, and started spewing smoke. The area was quickly covered in this effective smokescreen, leaving everything blinded. The man who launched the smoke bomb shouted something, though Kyte could not hear, but heard splashes afterward. He was running away. Kyte spat at his side. No, the Druggy Pirates weren't going to cheat death today. He was sure his comrades would happily agree.

Jin complained about them getting away. The visor crept back into Kyte's mouth, forming his teeth again. Kyte felt around, soon realizing he was missing a molar on the left side of the top of his mouth. Kyte went over to the needle and put it back in his mouth, forming the molar. Jin then said what was on Kyte's mind: if they allowed the man to get away, the man could call stronger men to help him, and they were not in the mood for more surprises.

Taylor quietly said they were almost at the spot where the ships and the sewers connected. Kyte looked at him. Taylor Durben was still consumed with rage about Paunchy. Kyte looked away so no one could see his eyes for a second. It was his fault. If Kyte had been a little more careful, Paunchy wouldn't have needed to die to protect him. Kyte thought that Jin caught a glimpse of the look of guilt on his face, so Kyte turned the other way, the same emotional mask on his face as before.

Kyte thought for a second, and then pulled out three fish bones. He linked them to the steel links on the scythe that remained, and they made a more extended chain, with a spiked ball on the end. Kyte smiled a bit. He just made a kusari gama. These weapons could break through samurai's armor. Each of the spikes on the ball had a slight hook. If these spikes hit something, they would have a harder time coming out.

He quickly cut off the scythe man's hand. If he was somehow still living, that would kill him for sure. He then sheathed the katana and followed Jin and Taylor. He left Taylor with the axe because they had left him undefended for far too long. He quickly stuck his fingers into the hand, forming the bones into one mass and pulling them out, leaving the hand itself behind, as they went on in the tunnel. He put the mass of bone into his pouch. They were no longer bones with spaces in between them, but one solid bone, that looked kind of like a claw.

Jin kept on walking through the sewers. He watched as Kyte took another part of a bone from the dead corpse. It seemed the cyborg had failed to take his crewmate and only happened to take the sharpshooter. He kept on walking and then noticed something, it seemed there was more water than when they first walked into the sewer. He wondered if there was a lot more sewage around the ocean maybe? Jin shrugged it off and didn't really care for it. The male kept on walking and turned back around to see Taylor following him with Paunchy in his arms. The pirate couldn't help but feel bad for the poor homeless man and kept quiet. He felt that the bum needed some quiet and peace to himself.

Taylor Durben walked quietly, he had many thoughts in mind. He simply wanted revenge, Taylor never felt rage like this before. He could take a hit, he could take insults, but if someone killed an animal that was someone's pet... it was an unforgivable act. That was simply cruel and Taylor did not like the idea at all. He wanted revenge on this whole "Druggy Pirates". If it weren't for them, Taylor would have been happily living in these sewers with Paunchy.Taylor stopped when he noticed Jin looking down at the sewage floor. It made him notice something, there was a constant pitter patter up above them. It seemed Loguetown was raining once again. It explained the sudden, small increase in the water level. The bum kept on walking and saw that they would have to make a turn soon. But he noticed a man standing at the corner talking with the cyborg pirate they had seen earlier.

"Hey its the man in the suit and the pirate from earlier!" Jin shouted out and instantly started charging at the two. Taylor instantly followed suit, leaving Paunchy on the floor where there was no sewage infecting it. Jin reached them very quickly in his hybrid form and managed to kick the cyborg into the businessman. They fell over onto the wall and Taylor blocked the other exit, cornering the two. It wouldn't be long before the two were outnumbered by three. "Lets take care of these punks!" the homeless man said enthusiastically. It didn't take much to beat up a helpless businessman and a cyborg that ran out of fuel. The cyborg laid on the sewage ground as the businessman sat in the corner holding up his briefcase as a shield.
"Give me that!" Jin exclaimed, as he snatched the briefcase by the handle and took it away. The businessman looked like he had something to say, but bit his tongue in order to not receive any more blows.

Jin took the briefcase and put it in his backpack with his medical supplies. The businessman started rambling about random things. He claimed to not know a lot and that he needed important things from his briefcase. He kept on saying it was important and very private to him. The homeless male looked at him, "I know what you do! Don't try to lie to us! You're a drug smuggler!" The businessman looked at the bum and had a huge surprised look on his face. Jin couldn't help but smirk. Taking away his briefcase would be enough, it probably had the most important things he needed to do his job. If he failed his job he would simply suffer consequences from his superiors who probably weren't nice people if they were smuggling drugs through the blues. "Lets get going, I think we should find a way out now," JIn suggested, as he turned the corner and started walking.

Kyte saw that Taylor was carrying Paunchy's body with him, even though he was dead. Kyte didn't look at Taylor and Paunchy too much. After all, it was Kyte's fault that the dog died. He looked around, wondering where they were going. It would seem that the water was increasing in the tunnel up ahead, Kyte thought that they should be getting close then.

He could see that Taylor was still clouded with anger, and still wishing revenge. That was fine and all, but he didn't want Taylor to go into a blinded rage and get killed. Kyte then noticed something at the end of the passageway. It was kind of hard to see, but he could make out two human-like shapes. As they got closer, they could see the two men from earlier; the one in the suit with the briefcase, and the man from earlier that had eluded them.

Jin, as usual, announced this before he could. Jin announced them and immediately charged, Kyte following right behind. Kyte was also followed by Taylor, who left Paunchy's corpse on the floor behind them. It would seem Jin was really hyped up from the fights earlier, for he turned into his hybrid form of monkey and closed the distance between the groups quickly, leaving almost no time for their opponents to react.

Jin kicked the man into the businessman, knocking them both over. Before they could even think of escaping, Taylor made a smart move by blocking the exit. Kyte grinned a bit. They had cornered their prey, and had done so with expertise. Sure, they had to step on a few fingers along the way, so to speak, but they got the job done. The man in the suit was cowering in the corner, trying to defend himself with his suitcase. The other man looked almost unconscious.

Jin snatched the suitcase from the man in the suit, taking their quarry quickly. The man looked like he was about to say something, but made the smart decision and didn't speak. After a second or two, though, he started mumbling saying it was important and private, and Taylor shut him up by telling him he knew what it was for. They weren't going to let him prattle on about something when they knew he was guilty.

The man looked shocked, and Kyte grinned. The other man kept laying there. Kyte wondered why he hadn't reacted to anything they said yet. No matter. That was not going to change the outcome. Jin turned and started walking, holding the suitcase. He suggested they leave now, while they still could. Kyte slowly nodded his head, but with an amused look in his eye.

He started walking after Jin, slowly whirling the end of the chain with the scythe attached to it. He made sure to wait until the man in the suit and the man lying on the ground were least expecting, and then suddenly jumped backwards, launching the scythe head. It landed neatly around the curve of the other man's neck, which Kyte immediately pulled, cutting off the cyborg's head. He chuckled a bit as he did, this would be his last kill for the day, and probably the next few weeks. He also took the man's arm.

If he got a stare from one of his partners that said "That was unnecessary...", he would just shrug. "He deserved it..." he said. Kyte was done killing now. He had picked up the man's head and put it in an extra pouch he had. He had let the blood spray a bit on the man in the business suit to scare him a bit, giving him an obvious hint that he should stop being in this little business of his.

Kyte was fiddling around with the skull in his pack right now. He had made sure to put it in the pouch before either Jin or Taylor could have seen, and had slowly pulled the skin off. He then handed a clean, bloodless figurine to Taylor. It had no trace of ever being a skull, and could fit in the palm of his hand. It was a perfectly detailed figurine of Paunchy. Kyte smiled a bit as he handed it to him. "Jin. What've we got?" he said as he started fishing the arm's bones out of the arm, inquiring about the case. He wanted to make sure they weren't duped at the last second. He tried not to do it within Taylor's sight, to give him a little respect.

Taylor took the body of Paunchy after watching the two men be humiliated by the trio. He held him and followed behind Jin as Kyte did his works. The bum did not intend to watch the bloody mess that Kyte went through to have stronger and better weapons. They walked up through the sewers for only a little and then stopped waiting for him. They looked at each other silently feeling sorrow and remorse for the young canine. Taylor knew that holding Paunchy would only hold them back in the long run. He would have to leave the canine behind and it saddened him to do so. Taylor put Paunchy on the sewer ground and used a long sheet to spread it across from him. It wasn't best grave, but it was all Taylor could do to tell.

"That was really kind, thank you," the bum said softly, as he took the figurine of his missed canine. He did not expet getting something like this from anyone and was surprised to have gotten such a gift. He looked at the bone figurine and could only smile softly imagining his pet barking and liking the figure. Taylor started to keep on walking past Jin leading the two through the sewers. He heard some tapping from above and there started to be leaks from above of the sewers. It was raining harder and it seemed water was leaking down to the sewers. It was causing the water level in the sewer to rise also. Jin cursed along with Taylor, knowing that there was a possibility if they were drowned to death. Him and Kyte would not make it under water, since they would simply sink and drown to death. They started to run ahead and try to find the exit.

***

The man in the suit sat there in the corner of the suit and got up. He had lost everything he had and now he was stuck in a sewer. One half the sewer contained no light and the other half had enemies crawling about. He decided to go through the dark half of the sewer. He decided to try and light up one of the lanterns. He successfully lit up one of the lanterns and started to make his way through the sewer. He checked the tops for the man holes that lead up the ground level. He didn't find any after traveling for quite a bit. He decided to stop and take a break for a moment. The East Blue Trading Company could not find out about his loss and he needed to escape Loguetown as quickly as possible. The man tried not to think of the many things that could psosibly happen to him and stay positive. He started walking through the sewers once again, and thsi time he stopped couple steps forward. The man thought he heard something and looked around, pushing his lantern around to shine the light around.

The lantern the businessman was holding shattered in his hands suddenly. He looked around and yelled out for help, but there was no one to help this man. With a lantern lighting up the sewer from many yards away, the business man was practically in pitch darkness. He could see two poled weapons in front of him and a voice spoke out, "You have created danger for the people!" he said, before impaling the business man.

Meanwhile, Jin was walking through the sewers and looked over to Kyte. He kept on walking and it wasn't long before he heard something. It sounded like someone was yelling, but he ignored it thinking he was hearing things. The male pirate wondered where the exit could be and simply kept on following the homeless man. As they reached a corner and turned around they could see a light way down the sewer pipe. But they could also see a couple of shadows standing in their way. Jin looked over to Kyte with the expression meaning that they had company and should prepare themselves.

Taylor took his gift and thanked him for it. Kyte saw Taylor smile. He was likely imagining his dog again. Kyte smiled a bit. Now, at least Taylor had something to remember Paunchy by. They then noticed a small tapping, along with Jin and Taylor, and they noticed that it was now raining heavily in Loguetown, and that the sewer could flood. Jin and Kyte exchanged glances before sprinting down the tunnel, trying to get out as soon as they could. Him and Jin knew that they were hammers, and would be incapacitated underwater.

It was then that Kyte heard something. It was very faint, and so he couldn't determine it, but Jin heard it too. Jin looked doubtful, as if he thought he had just imagined it, but Kyte had looked too. It kind of sounded like a scream. Kyte frowned. That was one less kill for the day. He wondered who died, and who killed him. Kyte shrugged, and kept running with Taylor and Jin. Kyte hoped to get out of here fast.

It was then that they saw the light at the end of the tunnel...literally. But there were shadows at the end of the tunnel, and shadows meant people. Jin looked at Kyte, signifying to be ready. Kyte walked in front of Taylor; if the men had guns, he didn't want Taylor to die. "Yeah, yeah, I got ya, I got ya." Kyte readied his kusari-gama, the scythe in his right hand and the chain connected to the spiked ball in the left. He started whirling the spike ball on the chain as they walked forward. It could be heard whirling through the air as he spun it.

The male pirate kept on walking forward when the first group approached them; they looked like normal pirates wearing tattered clothing, the wretched stench of alcohol and stale cheese. Even though the smell could hardly be defined from one another in the sewer, these pirates brought in a different smell than the feces-and-God-knows-what infested sewers. Then Jin and Kyte went shoulder to shoulder in the sewer ready to fight the oncoming pirates. These must’ve been the weaker, foot soldiers of the Druggy Pirates, because they rushed in blindly with their swords drawn. There were a total of four of them and they came in pairs. These pirates had the strength and speed of an average man and were nothing special. It would be a quick finish before they would have to move on.

Jin hoped he would not have to face the Captain and they would be able to make it out of here safely. The Kilah male kneed the first guy in front of him and then brought down his elbow to the pirates skull. The helpless pirate fell down to the sewers, and Jin instantly ran up to him. Instantly he dropped to the ground and swept the male off his feet. Jin knew that Kyte would handle his own and decided to go on forward to the other pirates. The martial artist faced the next group blocking the path and he saw that they were dressed up like scientists with mask covering their mouth and nose. They were the chemists of the pirates that made sure the drugs that their crew got were authentic. Jin wasn’t sure what to expect from these men, so he approached the first out of the two that were there.

Jin would try to punch the one to his left, but before he could hit him, the one on the right had caught his arm. It wasn’t before the chemist he tried to punch returned with a kick to the stomach. Jin coughed a little before pushing away the chemists and taking a few steps back to catch his breath. ”Alright! You want to play like that?” Jin said, as he jumped as high as he could in the tight space he had. He would then bring down his knee to smash into one of the chemists chest. It brought him to the floor and a hard snapping could be hard. Jin wasn’t sure what had broke or snapped, but he was glad it wasn’t from him. Jin started to get up and didn’t bother with the second chemist. When he jumped into the air, he had saw that Kyte was finished beating up the foot soldiers and would take care of the other chemist right away. Jin was simply keeping him busy by jumping up in the air.

The monkey man kept on walking forward, they had made it half way through the sewer and they would be at the exit very soon. There were more pirates this time the thugs with gas masks and the normal pirates, but there were a lot of them this time. Jin had counted at least two dozen of them in front of them. They had squeezed in together so that there were three of them lined up pushing through to get the trio. The homeless man walked behind Kyte watching the bulk of men trying to get at them. Taylor Durben looked behind him to make sure that everyone else was still dead. The least he could do was watch their backs since he wasn’t the greatest fighter but still could fight at times. He kept the axe handy and bounced it from his hand watching the area they had come from.
From the other end of the sewer a man walked through the path that Jin and Kyte had gone through. He could not be seen in the shadows yet and not turned the corner. He was still taking his time, simply walking through the sewers raking his poled weapon against the sewer wall. It was then this man appeared at the beginning end of the sewer, he would seem to be just a shadow for now since he was at the way beginning. But he was wearing a long sleeved yellow dress shirt, with a brown leather vest, and brown leather pants. The man also wore mountain treading boots. His two poled weapons could be visible, and they were large tridents. He had a mysterious and nonchalant expression holding his face.

He kept spinning the spiked ball on the end of the kusari-gama, approaching their new opponents. They looked like the regular footsoldiers of pirates, and they were probably part of the same crew as their new acquaintances. They were clothed like regular pirates, and had a different smell, that kind of smelled like beer and cheese, but both smelled stale. It was definitely better than what they were smelling down in the sewers, but Kyte didn't care. Him and Jin walked shoulder to shoulder, as the pirates drew their swords and charged.

Him and Jin exchanged glances, and nodded. This would be short and sweet. Jin was the first to move, darting forward while Kyte kept spinning the spiked ball on his kusari-gama. Jin took out his opponent quickly, and darted forward, remembering that Kyte wanted an equal share of violence, leaving Kyte's opponent behind. Kyte ducked under the man's sword swing, and quickly embedded the scythe blade into the man's stomach, and ripped it out, leaving an open, gashing wound that not even a cyborg could survive. He saw Jin was having trouble up ahead. Kyte ran forward to help.

He could see that the next two men wore lab coats, it was obvious that they had fermented the drug for use of the men in the sewers. Jin got rid of the man in the coat quickly, and jumped up in the air to distract the other one. Kyte grinned. That was all he needed. As soon as Jin landed, Kyte nodded downwards, telling Jin to duck, which he knew he would understand. Knowing Jin would do it in time, Kyte placed the blade against the scientist's neck, it wrapping around it, almost as if embracing it because of its curve. "Never drop your guard for your enemy's petty parlor tricks." He then pulled the scythe blade back, completely severing the man's head, clearly not intending for the man to learn his lesson.

Kyte then looked ahead, seeing that there was a huge mass of men trying to get to them in the tunnel, fitting in three at a time. Kyte saw they all had gas masks like the ones they had encountered in the sewers earlier, though he could see that there were nothing special about these ones. "Jin, quickly, how much can you lift?!" Kyte drew his sword and put the handle of it in his teeth. He had an idea, and reached into his pouch, forming all of the bones into one mass.

Jin ducked as he saw Kyte signal at him. The pirates were starting to get their teamwork down pretty well and they worked pretty fluently. The pirate stopped in his tracks as he looked at the oncoming enemies with Kyte. It seemed Kyte had a plan and he wouldn't mind trying it out. He looked at Kyte with a smirk when he asked about his strength. "Don't worry about how much I can lift, what's your plan? Want me to throw you at them?" Jin asked wondering what he could be thinking.

Taylor Durben looked forward to see there was a lot of people his two companion would have to fight. He then looked behind again to see something moving towards them. He wasn't sure if he was seeing things from exhaustion he had today, or if it was real. But it looked like some figure was walking towards them. It would still be a while before the figure would reach them, but Taylor was wondering why a man was walking in the sewers so nonchalantly. Taylor wondered if it was a stronger enemy, the bum didn't have a good feeling about this. He put the Paunchy figurine in his jacket pocket and slipped away from the two fighting the pirates. Taylor needed to help these guys, they were protecting Taylor the best they could as he guided them. He wanted to fight too, because he was capable of fighting and he knew it.

If Kyte wanted to do his plan, they would have to do it quick because they were running out of time. Jin looked at Kyte, "C'mon now! We gotta hurry!"The huge group of pirates kept on running at their full momentum ready to attack, they would start their attack soon. It was like a rumble, people were breaking loose from the mob and at first one came. Then two, then they would come in random groups as much they could fit through.

Jin had ducked effectively, just as Kyte had anticipated, as the mob began approaching them. Kyte grinned. He hoped to rip them all to shreds. Jin asked him if he wanted him to throw him. He looked at Jin, the katana hanging from the right side of his mouth, and tried to tell him as cleanly as he could, "Yes, Jin, that is exactly what I want you to do. Throw me hard, so that I can go past them, and throw me so I spiral, and fast."

Kyte kept forming the bones together, trying to increase their density as much as he could, while trying to keep them lightweight. He was going to have to execute this with as much perfection as possible, and with expertise. Doing this would be accomplishing the most he had ever with bone manipulation, so he would make it his masterpiece. He was also thinking of a name, of sorts, to go along with it, and that would fit it. After all, it was going to be his masterpiece, wasn't it?

Kyte could see Jin was trying to hurry. Kyte was about their with the density and the weight, and jumped into Jin's hands, standing with his feet, holding the kusari-gama in his left hand, the chain with the spiked ball on the end also wrapped up in has hand, ready to loose for his spinning motion. When Jin threw him spiraling, he formed the giant bone mass into a sort of a dome around his body, sprouting blades outwards leaving all of the tips only centimeters from the walls, ceiling, and floor of the sewage tunnel. He shot through the men, shredding everything in his path into mince meat, and landed almost near the end of the tunnel from all of the torn flesh and puddles of blood he just created. He had just sliced every one of the men into oblivion.

He opened a hole in the vessel, looking to see if anyone was waiting for him. If there was no one, the vessel would collapse into one bone structure again, and go into his pack. If there was someone waiting for him, he would shoot a spike out of the vessel to impale the person if they were hostile while he waited for Jin and Taylor to get over to him. He wondered how many other men they were going to have to cross swords with to get out of this tunnel alive.

Jin watched after throwing Kyte the way he wanted. His Devil Fruit was a spectacle to see when in action. He watched as the bone shredded through everyone in the way. They had either died from the unexpected attack or were on the verge of dying from the blood loss. ”Well, I guess that works, lets get moving,” he said, as he kept on walking. Jin tried to avoid getting blood no his white clothing and watched his tall head for any blood that might drip on him. The male then realized that there was someone missing. The pirate looked behind him to see two figures fighting with each other, one was homeless, and the other one was a pirate. He looked strong, as he was wielding two tridents, one on each hand.

Taylor Durben stared into the cold, gray eyes of the pirate as he breathed deeply. He was tired and fighting this man was taking a toll on him. Taylor was covered in various cuts and gashes all over his body. It seemed he managed to protect his head well. He stood there, his eyes showing determination and perseverance. He would not give up, this was his home anyways, and the others could go to the end without him and leave this place in peace. If Taylor had died, he would accept it as fate. Beside, he knew what he was getting into from the beginning. He had chosen to be valiant and come down here with the two good pirates.

The trident-weilding pirate was dressed in old English clothes, with a red trench coat that went down behind his thighs. He wore a hat with a jolly roger that had powder on top of the skull and some drug paraphernalia in the background. He was strong and he seemed not to be even tired from swinging those tridents around. This pirate was the Captain of the Druggy Pirates, Benedict Alva. It seemed he had no problem beating up the strong, muscular homeless man. It was then Jin caught back up with Taylor Durben. He put his hand on his shoulder, ”You can go, catch up with Kyte,” Jin spoke to Taylor. He hoped that Kyte did not follow him, because Jin could tell this pirate was no joke.

Taylor hesitated for a moment before standing his ground, ”No, I’m going to fight to the finish of this fight,” he said. Jin couldn’t deny that to a man who wanted to keep fighting. He agreed, but he knew that Taylor would need help to defeat this pirate. ”Alright who are you and what’s your purpose?!” Jin questioned the pirate. He looked at the appearance of the man and he seemed to be of the Druggy Pirates. Before he could put the final two and two together, the captain spoke up, ”I am Benedict! The 20 Million Beli Pirate! Captain of the Druggy Pirates! I am ridding you and your friends of my smuggling route! You guys ruined enough of my business, so I’m taking care of things myself!” Jin sighed, not wanting to fight someone worth twenty million beli and a Captain of his own pirate crew, which seemed pretty large.

Benedict threw the first blow, as he stabbed at Jin with his trident. It barely missed as Jin took a side step. Jin ran against the, before kicking against the wall to get some air against the captain. Before he could reach Benedict to throw a punch, he got swatted away by the poled weapon. He fell towards the ground, but landed on his feet in time. He noticed that the water was rising and that they would need to get out soon. Jin hated being a hammer and wasn’t in the mood to die. Benedict started to swing both his tridents, stabbing and slashing, cutting and gashing. He would not stop and seemed he had an unlimited amount of stamina. Jin managed to dodge most of the attacks by keeping his distance against the poled weapon. He just needed time to sneak past those blades he was so good at using.

Kyte opened up a tiny hole in the vessel. He looked around the tunnel, the hole shifting as if it were alive, making sure that no one was about to stab him. Apparently, he had killed everyone in the mob of the tunnel. He shrugged; they were fools anyway. The vessel opened, and then shifted into a lance in Kyte's left hand. Jin and Taylor were dealing with someone new, and Kyte could see he was very skilled, having two pole-arms and wielding them skillfully.

Kyte walked forward, and saw that Taylor was cut all over pretty badly. Yes, there was no doubt. This man was skilled. Kyte could also see that Taylor was determined to win. Kyte frowned. That meant he was willing to die to kill this man, and they simply couldn't have that. Albeit those facts, Kyte respected Taylor for this. This was about the seventh time this day that Taylor had shown the bravery of a full fledged warrior.

Kyte saw Jin join the fray to help out Taylor. He grinned. He guessed they all would have to work together in order to slay him. The man was dressed quite fancily, and had a captain's cap. Kyte's grin widened. He would bet three bottles of sake that this was the captain of the Druggy Pirates. Kyte knew that this was going to be a tough opponent, but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve.

As the Benedict began his raving speech about who he was and how high his bounty is, Kyte made the lance more detailed, and switched it to his right hand. He then formed a thick shield, of sorts, making the density as hard as he could. He held up his shield, walking forward, and then suddenly struck at the man, after he was out of the way of Jin and Taylor. When the head of the lance got within half a foot of the man, it would suddenly burst into dozens of long, slender needles all over the blade, impaling the man in many spots; particularly the lungs and heart. Kyte would then rip the spiked weapon out of the man's chest.

"Fool. You boast as if a bounty is something that determines your power. What a fool. Your bounty is how much people know of your actions. I know at least three figures who outrank you in that department. Jin, now!" Kyte thrust forward the lance once more, and it made a network of tendrils in front of him, the shaft splitting into many shafts that caught the heads of the pole like weapons and trapped them in the ground. The man would not be able to pry them loose with that network still there. Kyte had made a proper opening for Jin, and he would be damned if that opportunity wasn't going to be put to use.

Benedict watched as he started to strike the newcomer with his tridents. He saw that the new kid was fearless and didn't seem to be afraid to charge in. And it seemed he had a Devil Fruit that let him manipulate bones. He ran in with a shield and a lance, it seemed he was going to try and attack the Captain. The Captain grinned for a second, as the lance hit the Captain. A link of chains suddenly appeared wrapped around the spot where the lance hit. As the lance split into needles to pierce through Benedict, more chains shot out and started to twist around the lance. More chains shout out from Benedict as they attached themselves to Kyte's leg so he could not move. The chains traveling up the lance would wrap around his arms and then his body.

Benedict then used his right hand to bring it closer to the trident end of the blade to stab the close-range male in front of him. Kyte was forced to block with his shield, due to be subdued by the chains of Benedict. But before Kyte could block or counter with his bone shield, a chain would shoot from underneath him to pull down his hand and shield. "You made a foolish mistake, kid! You think I would be this great without being powerful?!" he boasted, as his laugh echoed through the sewer. Taylor had cuts all over his body and laid agaisnt a sewer wall, worn out.

Jin had treated Taylor Durben the best he could as Kyte fought with him. He did not want to leave Kyte to fight him alone, but he also did not want Taylor's wounds to get infected. It would be really easy to get an infection in the sewers with so many bacteria and viruses swarming the area. The herbalist returned to the fighting to see that Kyte was having trouble with the Captain, whom seemed to have a Devil Fruit also. "We can all play this game!" he said, turning into a full black furred spider monkey. Jin's appearence was almost unrecognizable, and untraceable as he moved with greater speed than before. He appeared standing on top of the chains that binded Kyte and Benedict in place. Before Benedict could stab Kte, Jin kicked the trident away. Jin pulled his body back ready to deliver a powerful punch to the Captain's face that could possibly cause a brain hemorrhage with his internal targeting ability. Benedict cursed, as he jumped back and letting all the chains loose, which came back to him and seem to disperse. "We need to use teamwork to beat him, he's not going to go down easy," Jin said, crouched slightly like a monkey.

Kyte saw that the man had some particular uses for chains. They immediately bound Kyte, disabling him at the moment. "Haha, I see...slippery little bastard, aren't you??" The chains had wrapped around him quite well, wrapping around the lance, Kyte's legs, and Kyte's arms. One word popped into Kyte's mind: Devil Fruit. Kyte started laughing. So this man was a Devil Fruit user as well. Kyte was going to enjoy this; this man, Benedict, was the most interesting man that Kyte would kill today thus far.

It was then that Benedict decided to lunge, using the advantage of Kyte being wrapped up in chains. Kyte grinned. Yes, this would be very fun indeed. Kyte went to block with his bone shield, when the chains pulled his arm down, supposedly disabling him from blocking. Kyte grinned. Well, supposedly. The shield reached forward, taking the pole arm from the man, and snapping the head off of it, it sinking into the bone. It then shot out into the man's right shoulder, propelled by the bone launching it quickly.

"Great? Powerful?" Kyte scoffed. "Neither of those terms apply to you." Jin activated his Devil Fruit as well, seeing this was all fair game with them. He appeared in front of Kyte, having ran extremely fast, and kicked his other trident away. He then punched Benedict in the face extremely hard. Jin exclaimed that they needed to use teamwork to defeat this guy, and Kyte agreed. "Yes, this is a very powerful man. We shall run him down." Kyte thrust the lance forward, it jutting out into a giant network of spikes, covering the entire tunnel area in front of them, in terms of width. The man would be pinned if hit by even just a few of these.

Benedict smirked pulling one of the spear heads of his tridents out of his own shoulder. He had barely dodged the primate's punch and was facing two Devil Fruit users. But the Captain felt over-confident his Parmecia would defeat the white-logia type user and the Zoan user. When he saw Kyte use his Devil Fruit to let out a huge network of bones that could possibly hurt him, the Captain had to do something. He released chains from himself to start wrapped around the bones. In only seconds later the network would stop moving, all mobility was removed with the chains clogging up all the open spaces in the network. The network of bones were being pulled down and Benedict had much stronger grasp on his Devil Fruit than the Logia-user. He was thankful for that since the Logia-user could have proved to be dangerous.

Jin watched as black chains contrasted against Kyte's white bone network. Jin watched quietly waiting for any suddent attacks. He was wondering what Kyte's plan was. "So his Devil Fruit has to do with chains, and I'm guessing he can do whatever he wants with his chains like with your bones," Jin suggested, since he wasn't very familiar with all the Devil Fruits. There were just too many for Jin to have knowledge and all of them. The herbalist looked over to Taylor Durben and looked back at the mass of black and whtie in front of him. It wasn't long until it exploded, cracking the structure of the sewers around them. Water could be seen and hear dripping through the cracks in the sewer. Jin was too busy with Benedict though to notice anything. As the chains broke through the network of bones, Benedict appeared, most of his body covered in his chain. There was a pathway through the network of chains and bones that Benedict made.

Benedict's face was still visible with a smirk on his face. "Now kids! This is what I call real chainmail!" the Captain said with a loud laugh. Jin stared at Benedict as chains appeared from behind and shot out at the two partners. The chains were an attempt to grab them by the torso and pull them towards Benedict's tridents.

Jin had dodged the chain by moving to the side, but at the same time he grabbed onto the chain. He had extra strength from his Zoan Devil Fruit, but it still wasn't enough to overpower the Captain. It seemed they were evenly matched in strength, as they both pulled on the chain. The male pirate had an idea as he suddenly stopped pulling on the chain. The sudden loss of force from one side of the chain had made Benedict pull too hard. Jin held onto the chain as he flew through the air. He was going to try and attack Benedict. He met eyes with Kyte before flying through the air. Jin was confident that his partner would know what to do when he saw Jin flying through the air towards Benedict. The monkey herbalist was going to knee the chain-weilding Captain, but his trident would make be a problem to get past. Seconds was left before the trident would stab Jin or Jin would get pass the trident, ending the fight with close-range combat. "Get ready to die!!" Jin exclaimed soaring through the air. "You made a foolish mistake, you can't get past my tridents!" Benedict screamed back, as he pulled his arm back ready thrust.

It was instantly when something shook the sewers as if an earthquake was passing through. But suddenly there was a rush of water coming from behind Benedict and would pick him up off his feet. Then Jin, Kyte, and then Taylor. At the moment, the Devil Fruit hammers would be okay since the water was built up from the rain and sewers. But once they were dumped into the ocean they would fall to their death. Benedict was having trouble moving in his chain armor and thought he was dying since he was in the water. Jin noticed that there was no seastone type element to weaken them, but he knew that it wouldn't be long before the sewer dumped out into the ocean. Jin cursed not knowing what to do as the current simply washed him away. It was almost an unbelievable occurence, when he thought they were in a life and death situation and fighting for their life, everything had ended abruptly. They would now be washed away to a new life, hopefully a better one.

Kyte watched as Benedict pulled the spear head from his shoulder. As his network of bone extended towards the man, he wrapped chains around the network, in an attempt to pull it down. Kyte had a look of disgust on his face at the man's stupidity. The bones stretched through the open spaces left by the chains quickly and impaled the man in at lest three places. "Fool..." was all Kyte said to the man after this. He thought he was unstoppable because he had chains.

Jin then suggested that the man's chains worked like Kyte's bones, and Kyte nodded slowly. It was then that his network of bones and chains exploded, fracturing the tunnel. Water started pouring in. Benedict appeared, although Kyte was sure he stabbed the man, and had a sort of armor of chains. Kyte sighed. This was getting very ugly, and very fast. Kyte tried to think quickly, as he looked through the space left by his network.

It was then that chains came for them. Jin grabbed onto one, and pulled. Although, it would seem that both the captain and Jin were matched in physical strength. But Jin tricked the man into pulling the chain hard enough to launch Jin at himself. Jin looked at Kyte, and Kyte understood. Kyte quickly touched the network to the left of him, and bones sprang out and caught Benedict off guard, snatching his tridents away from him and into the network of bones. They then did something unexpected; they covered Jin's arms and legs, covering them in lightweight but durable armor, with spikes along the knuckles and toes. Kyte had now just perfected the martial arts master.

It was then that they were all swept up by water. Kyte grimaced, and touched his network of bones before sweeping them up, forming both networks of bones into one mass. He probed his bones behind until they found Taylor, and then pulled him closer to Kyte, in whatever condition he was in. He then did the same thing with Jin. When they were all together, he started making the mass more flexible, so that when they washed out of the tunnel to the open sea, he stabbed spikes into the sides of the tunnel, letting all the water rush past them while they hanged on, waiting for the water flow to lessen. It made chains to stop Jin's and Taylor's movement, while Kyte just held on.
