Taylor Durben tried to help out as much as he could from behind, since he did not have space to help them fight. The homeless male got random article of items from the muck and sewers. He would pick them up and fling them across the sewer to hit the man with the axe and the other thugs. It would seem the man with the axe was starting to get annoyed. He was annoyed from the crap being thrown at him and that his men could not beat two guys. Paunchy and Taylor seemed very happy as they jumped around, laughing and taunting the enemies. It wasn't long before the next two pair came up to them. These thugs were wearing the same black masks and portrayed the underling. They both held a six-inch Sashimi knife, capable of killing if stabbed in the right place. But they also had brass knuckles on their fists. The brass knuckles could possibly break bones if hit hard enough They started threatening the sewer intruders by testing them and slashing at them.

The Kilah male stood in a crouched position ready to strike and attack. He leaned back to dodge from getting cut by the thug. Jin dodged a slash aimed for his arm and pulled it back. The pirate then went for a punch to the rib cage, but was met with an uppercut. The thug's punch had collided with his Jin's. "Dammit! That hurt, good thing he didn't get enough force in that punch," Jin thought to himself. He was glad that the thug didn't have time to put all of his weight into his punch. The brass knuckeles could have possibly injured Jin's hands. He felt liquid drip between his fingers and could feel the blood on his hands. The brass knuckles probably had cut Jin somewhere. The second thug facing Kyte was a bigger man, but his style seemed slower with strong force. The main thing that seemed odd was the big thug didn't really seem to try and fight. It was almost if he was forced to do it. He aimed a punch to Kyte's forehead with his brass kncukles. The big thug would follow up his attack with a slash to his stomach, but he swung very slowly.

Paunchy continously barked, cheering on the pirates that would give back his master a home. Taylor was jumping up and down shouting out taunts to the thugs and "motivating" the two to keep fighting. Though, the tow that were fighting were basically doing it for their life anyways. "Yea! Make those ugly bastards hit the ground hard! Go go go!" he excitedly kept cheering on. Jin listened to their comments and couldn't help but smirk a little bit. Their enthusiasm when they weren't doing much was interesting and hilarious. He didn't doubt Taylor's fighting abilities, he was a bum on the street and had to survive everyday. Jin broke his stance in a sudden moment, he pushed off the ground taking air. "Breaking Knee Point!" Jin yelled, as his knee smashed into the thugs chin. He fell backwards and stumbled to the side leaning against the wall, unconscious.

He watched the thug he incapacitated fall to the ground, stunned and unable to move. He would have to retrieve that dart later; he needed it, obviously. The next man was huge, almost as huge as the one behind him. He had a knife much like samurai's knives, and it looked deadly. Kyte was now really wishing he hadn't left the knife. The man next to him, who was facing Jin, was smaller, but something was different about them. Yes, the man on the right was larger, but he meant something else. The smaller one seemed bloodthirsty, while the larger one had the look of a child that was being forced to do the dishes when he didn't want to.

Kyte took it that he would have to knock this man out. The man swung at Kyte with brass knuckles, trying to hit his forehead. Kyte merely leaned to the left, the fist soaring by him and retracting, having done no damage. That confirmed it. This man did not want to fight him. Kyte took his hand out of his pouch and switched the katana to it. The thug was purposely slowing down his attacks, but was putting on enough of a show to make the others think he was fighting just as hard. The man then swung his right hand in hopes of slashing Kyte's stomach.

Kyte reached out his left hand and stopped his arm, stopping the motion. He then pulled the man forward and kneed him in the stomach. Reflex would dictate that the man would lurch forward in the pain and the sudden lack of air. Kyte would use this motion to his advantage, uppercutting the man in the chin, and then backhanding him on the back of the head to knock him into unconsciousness. He let the man fall to the floor. Even if he wasn't knocked out, this would give him the perfect excuse to at least act like he was knocked out. Kyte then saw the man looming with the axe behind him.

He got a serious expression on his face. From the looks of it, he and Jin would both have to work hard to take him out. He kept close guard, waiting for Jin to finish his second opponent. He flipped the katana to his left hand and reached back into the pouch. Four bones left. He hoped that was more than enough. He kept his eyes wearily on the man with the axe. Not like he didn't say it before, but he especially needed to keep his eyes on this one. That large axe could do a lot of damage. "Jin, how should we go about this?!" He shouted.

Jin stood there with little sweat dripping down his forehead. He breathed in and out heavily once, before returning back to normal breathing. He looked at all the thugs on the ground and looked up to the last remaining thug. The commander was wearing no shirt and only some pants. His well-toned abs could be seen and the giant fighting axe was at least the size of two 'Paunchy's', a large dog. His breathing was heavy under the mask as he approached the two. It didn't take him much to swing his axe in a wide arc trying to decapitate his adversaries in one swing. The Kilah male quickly ducked under the man's strike and kept himself low. Jin was a tall male, but the commander was much larger. He had at least two-hundred pounds on him and was at least seven foot tall. He took up most of the sewer space and would have a hard time manuevering. "Hey, I got a plan," Jin spoke up Paunchy and Taylor, as Jin avoided the strikes. "Try to sneak behind him, he has limited vision because of that mask, we'll keep him busy," Jin spoke to the bum and his pet.

Taylor Durben and Paunchy could be seen nodding. The bum kneeled to face his canine companion and started to talk to him. "Okay, so what's the plan, Paunchy?!" the bum asked his dog. The dog barked back and the homeless nodded back. The bum then started to creep from the side towards the fighting males. Paunchy simply kept running and ran past between the large man's legs. The commander didn't notice and his actions insisted that Jin and Kyte should keep fighting him.

The tip of the axe, with the blade, had a 'pike' at the end that could be used for spearing. The commander, stabbed at Jin with quick handiwork and quickly changed his stabbing to Kyte. He would switch off as Jin dodged and then would started swinging at his opponents. The commander had a better fighting style then his thugs and actually aimed at limbs. If he had stabbed or sliced a vital area, then it would be the end for them in the sewer. They would die wtih regret having come down this disgusting sewer. Jin waited for an opening when the commander took a swing and sliced Jin's thigh. After the axe had passed, Jin quickly appeared in front of the larger man. He pulled back a punch and released it as fast as he moved. It hit the larger man in the stomach in the abs and the commander could be seen stumbling a little. Jin went for a second jab to the mid section, knocking out part of the commander's wind. He stepped back, at the same time swing in a diagonal directions, in order to keep his opponents back from coming at him.

Kyte watched as Taylor and Paunchy went behind the thug. Kyte was almost having a hard time keeping up. Four bones. That was all he had in his pack right now. He barely ducked under a swing from the axe. "Tch..." This was bad. The thug was swinging the axe crazily. It crashed into the stone floor beside Kyte as he dodged. The thug then stabbed at Jin, but changed it mid-course and stabbed at Kyte.

Kyte's eyes widened as he saw the axe on its path, and ducked just in time so that the axe went over his head. This was definitely too close for comfort. The thug had the advantage in range. Be that as it may, for the thug that mean he attacked slower. Jin realized this too, it seemed, because he got slightly cut by the axe, and used it to his advantage. He ran forward and punched him in the stomach. The man barely budged, but that wasn't the point here. He then hit him in the stomach one more time, knocking the air from him.

The man was stumbling backwards, but before Kyte could intercept him he slashed wildly in front of him, preventing either of them from getting close. Kyte looked around him. Paunchy and Taylor were no longer behind him. The tunnel still stretched on quite a ways back. And now the man in front of him was gasping for breath. Kyte grinned. Perfect. He was going to pin this cunning bastard and take his head.

Kyte stabbed the katana into the wall beside him, and then did a back-handstand, leaving a lot more distance between them, which was all for the better. He reached into his pouch and formed two shuriken of bone, sending them flying at the man's arms. This was still relatively a short distance, and so would be very hard to avoid. They would lodge themselves in the man's shoulders, if successful, and shortly disable them. Kyte then formed a bone throwing knife in his pouch, throwing it to hit in between the man's eyes. This would be a lethal blow.

As if this wasn't enough, Kyte launched forward and retrieved his sword from the wall. He had worked on this technique for a long time, and to this day, had not used it. Using the sudden impact created by the shuriken and kunai, this would cause the man to reel in pain a bit. The kunai, if somehow the shuriken were deflected, would come right after a block, preventing the man from blocking it. And, if somehow in an alternate time paradox universe he blocked the shuriken, he had a surprise coming. Kyte then went for the plunge...literally.

Kyte ran forward and with the forward momentum, drove the katana into the man's ribs, hoping to pierce his lungs. The sword would go through the man's left lung, close to his heart, and go out the other side of his body. Kyte would then, if he was somehow still living, plant his foot in the man's chest and kick him off of the blade, ready for more.

OOC: Why do I think this was a bit overkill? >.> lol

Jin stepped couple steps back before the axe thug could get any slices on him again. He watched as he gasped for air and swung his axe randomly as he caught his breath. He smirked to see that it was starting to get easier and easier to beat him down. Jin believed that he wouldn't last any longer, and if Kyte could land enough lethal blows this battle would be over. Then they would have to get to the source of the drug smuggling. Jin watched as Kyte threw some white projectiles at the opponent. He caught the basic figure of the projectile and could see that it was some kind of throwing star. Jin wondered how it was white, he usually saw throwing stars that were made out of steel or iron. He wasn't sure what it was, and just watched Kyte. He saw as the male put his hand in a bag and took out another white projectile. The Kilah male guessed Kyte had some kind of Devil Fruit power.

The axe commander felt the first shuriken lodge into his left shoulder and blocked the second shuriken with his axe. The axe commander growled in pain and saw another whtite projectile coming at him. He barely dodged it grazing the side of his gas mask. The mask ripped and it fell into the sewer. The axe commander's face could be seen, he looked about a little over twenty and seemed to have a demonic look on his face. His eyes showed no fear and it only seem to glare and penetrate a person's mind. It seemed he really had a high killing intention and would not back off. The man's pupils were dilated and its black color seemed endless in his eyes. He was using the red illicit drug and it was enhancing his fighting capabilities. He was probably hallucinating that he was some kind of animal or demon. It was weird how all of these thugs were on drugs and were fighting, maybe that was why it was so easy to beat them down. But this commander was pretty strong, even on the drug.

The axe thug watched as the swordsman pulled his sword out of the wall and dashed towards him. The thug just glared at Kyte, baring his teeth as if a tiger or lion. When Kyte went into him for a plung, the commander felt one of his lungs be pierced and the sword coming out of his back. He screamed slightly in pain, but not that loudly. He grabbed Kyte's hand and sword with his left hand. He would not let this man go after injuring him so badly. He swung his axe in his right hand back and prepared to decapitate the swordsman.

"Oh shit!! Watch out!!' Jin cried out to his partner. The Kilah male started to dash at the thug, aiming to break the commander's arm. It was when Jin was halfway to the thug, that he saw a large dog jump into the air and viciously bite into the commander's wrist. Blood could be seen dripping down the canine's teeth and the man's wrist. He dropped the axe and the bum could be seen sweeping the legs from under the commander. Jin reached the commander as he was about to fall. "Spider Heel Kick!" the martial artist yelled out. He raised up his feet into the air and quickly brought it down upon the man's stomach once again. He coughed up some blood that filled up his lungs and slowly passed away to death. The canine let go of the fallen male and started running in circles. Oddly, the bum did the same as a canine. It was almsot as if they had fun copying each other... as if they were kids or something. "Close call eh?' Jin said to his partner, as he dusted himself off and started to walk past the bum.

Kyte saw that his opponent manage to block one shuriken and almost dodge the throwing knife. Kyte then impaled him, the man had blood leaking from the corners of his mouth. Kyte proceeded to kick the man off of his sword, when he felt the man grab him. Kyte blinked, and grinned. The axe was coming from his right. Kyte reached into his pouch, trying to form a shield, but the man's wrist was bit by Paunchy.

Promptly afterward, Taylor tripped the man backwards. He had let go of Kyte, and that was yet another mistake this man would make before he died. He ripped the sword to the right as the man fell, completely severing the man's chest outward to the man's left, freeing his sword. The man fell back, and Jin straight drop kicked him, he probably forced blood into his lungs and made him cough.

Under these circumstances, most men would let the man die the slow death that he was left to. This was under regular circumstances. The irregular circumstance here was a pissed off man. Kyte walked up in a rage, stabbing the man in the stomach, and then stomped on his head, crushing his skull. Kyte wiped his brow, a sweat was starting to form.

He swiped his blade to the right, cleaning off any blood and unnecessary tissue, ran it along the sheath, and sheathed it, returning his blade like a proper samurai. He knew he was probably getting glances from the others that said "Dude...overboard." , so he shrugged. He closed his eyes and clenched his fist, calming down slowly.

He then realized that Jin had asked him a question. After calming his heartbeat and the raging, bloody storm in his mind, he turned to Jin and answered with a slight smile. "Yeah...thanks for saving my ass, man." Kyte bowed a bit, and then retrieved the dart from the man's neck. It formed back into a fish rib. He collected the shuriken and the throwing knife, which also turned back into fish bones. He put them back into the pouch on his back.

He looked around. There were dead bodies here. Four, to be exact. The man that had not wanted to fight was still left alive. Kyte looked at his recently felled foe. He drew the sword and severed his leg promptly. He then turned so the others couldn't see what he was trying to do and pulled the femur from the man's severed leg. He took a water pouch from another man's pack and rinsed it off, putting it in his pack.

To explain to the others his weird actions, he pulled a fish bone out. He held it up to the light for them to see. It then changed into a shuriken, then a throwing knife, and then a chain. "That's what I can do. And that's why I needed his bone." The part Kyte did not tell them was the other half of the need for the man's bone. The man was a worthy opponent. This was Kyte's abnormal, and exceptionally bizarre way of acknowledging that.

He returned the bone to his pouch, and then slowly picked up the man's axe. Kyte bounced it in his hand slightly; it wasn't as heavy as he thought it was. He turned to Jin. "I'm taking this just in case." He then remembered Jin had hurt his leg. Kyte ripped a part of one man's pants off, getting enough makeshift bandage to stop the bleeding for his leg. Kyte did not do this himself, however; he left Jin to do it.

"Well, Taylor, I'm ready when you are. Lead the way." Kyte shifted the axe to lay across his shoulder. Who knows? He might need it to chop down a door. When they started walking, he did as well. "Did it stop the bleeding, Jin?", he asked.

Jin watched the male as he suddenly stopped movement and seemed to be bracing himself. He had clenched fists, and looked as if he was trying to concentrate hard. Jin looked at Kyte as he smiled at him and replied back to him. ”Thank them, I just made sure he wasn’t getting back up,” Jin spoke nonchalantly, as he looked at Kyte bowing down and taking something. He took back the white projectiles that Jin had seen. Jin watched as he turned them into fish bones. He guessed this was a Devil Fruit that let him manipulate bones. Jin stopped behind the dancing duo when he didn’t see Kyte with them. He looked over to Kyte and watched him; he could see that he was doing something outrageous. The male simply watched him without saying anything, but Jin was thinking of many different reasons. He wasn’t sure why Kyte would do it, but he guessed that he must’ve had some kind of fetish or hobby cutting off legs? The oddest thing Kyte did was pulling out the man’s bone. He could see the blood drip out.
Devil Fruits were amazing ‘food’; they had the power to give others unique powers. Jin was amazed when he first started to find out about Devil Fruits. Only after eating one himself after setting out to be a pirate, he started to hear about the great powers it gave. He knew that he was blessed with a unique power that magnificently upgraded his fighting abilities. It was then Kyte spoke up about his Devil Fruit. He watched more closely to Kyte’s manipulation and could see that he had pretty well control over the fruit. ”That’s a nice fruit you got, I also got a Devil Fruit, turns me into a spider monkey,” Jin explained to his comrade. Jin believed it wouldn’t be bad for a fellow Devil Fruit user to know about his.

Jin looked over to Kyte as he took the fallen man’s axe. It didn’t seem that heavy to him and decided to take it. ”Why not?’ Jin replied, he knew it couldn’t hurt to have another weapon with them. The Kilah male looked at Kyte as he handed him a piece of cloth. He knew it was for his leg, it wasn’t much of an injury and he could take it. But as a doctor himself, he knew that losing blood was not a good idea if they were to continue. The male tied the cloth around his leg and started to follow behind Kyte.

Meanwhile, Taylor Durben was in a crouched position holding the lantern above his head. Paunchy accompanied him in front of him. Taylor was whispering to Paunchy, ”Hey! Paunchy that kid over there just took out a man’s bone! He’s trouble I tell you, Paunchy… He has a weird fetish of bones and cutting legs off… Taylor looked behind his shoulder to see that Jin and Kyte were still talking. ”We might be his next victims of his bone fetish, be careful Paunchy..” the bum whispered again. This time he looked back again and he saw Kyte standing above them. Kyte’s face was lit from beneath giving off a ghostly face. Taylor jumped up and literally ran with his dog behind Jin. ”DOCTOR PRIMATE YOU GOTTA SAVE US FROM THE BONE FETISH BOY!” Taylor yelled, from behind Jin peeking over his shoulders.

Jin told Kyte that his Devil Fruit turned him into a spider monkey. Kyte blinked, and shrugged. He wondered why they were called spider monkeys, though. Kyte hefted the axe over his shoulder as he walked towards Taylor. He seemed to be whispering to Paunchy. Taylor then looked up as Kyte approached. He then accused Kyte of having a bone fetish and ran behind Jin, afraid.

Kyte froze. They said the tongue was the ultimate sword, and he had to admit, that really...hurt. Kyte walked over to Jin, so that Taylor could see him. He must not have seen his "demonstration". Kyte picked out a fish bone, and then turned it into a small statue of a puppy that had real detail. He held it out for Taylor to observe. "I do not have a "bone fetish". It's pretty dangerous down here, so I might need a bigger bone for a weapon. And if you're calling me weird, your dog just mauled a man's wrist open. Don't you find that a bit odd?"

Without waiting for a response, Kyte held out his hand for the figure of the puppy he made out of the bone. "Thanks for your help, you just saved my ass. Now could you please stop being ridiculous so we can finish this up? That man in the suit from earlier might have already alerted others to our presence, and needless to say, I am not very interested into fighting another axe guy."

Kyte stood to the side of the tunnel, holding his hand out in a gesture that said, "lead the way." He hoped he wouldn't be accused of being weird again. They did just save him, but he covered their asses as well. They could at least show a little gratitude, right? Kyte bounced the axe on his shoulder a little. He might make a few modifications to it, maybe even keep it.

Jin sighed, as he shook his head when the bum had yelled practically in his ear. He watched Kyte walk back over demonstrating the Devil Fruit once again. Jin was glad that Kyte reacted calmly to the crazy bum and his dog. The Kilah male wondered why they weren’t running into anybody. The male then realized that the people sent to kill them were drugged out. Which could mean the possibility of the others in there drugged out or just not caring. But he knew that sooner or later they would face more enemies. He just moved to the side so Taylor and Kyte could communicate with each other.

Taylor looked at the demonstration of his Devil Fruit power and nodded in agreement. ”Hm… I guess there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s your power,” Taylor commented, as he scratched his beard and started to walk forward. He didn’t want to waste anymore time and started to walk while listening to Kyte. ”Well, Paunchy has always been the vicious leader type,” Taylor complimented the canine who barked back as if understanding what he was saying. Paunchy started to follow beside Jin, but behind Paunchy as they walked through the smelly sewers. Taylor held the lantern lighting up the poorly-lit sewer. There was couple lanterns now set up along the sides of the walls. The smugglers had to probably come through here and set up the light system.

Jin looked at Kyte who seemed to take a liking to the axe. ”Seems like you like that axe? Is it because how that thug used it?” the male asked his comrade. Jin would give the axe thug props, he put up a great fight and used his axe’s advantages to try and best them. As Jin kept walking, he saw that they were coming to the end of the sewers. But as they reached closer he realized that it turned right. Taylor started to slow down and Jin followed the lead. He realized that there were voices coming from the sewers.

Taylor was the first to peek, having himself against the wall and only poking part of his head out. He checked out the new sight and saw something he did not want to. Taylor saw a gray shark fishman sitting on a chair protecting a locked gate. The gate seemed to be installed by screws and other means into the walls. The gate was made out of some kind of metal bars. Taylor sighed, as he looked behind the bars and could see from the dimly lit lights. The bum saw the sight of the East Blue Trade Company employee, the man in the business suit. He seemed to be talking with a shirtless man wearing some jeans and boots. The bum turned back around to speak to the others. ”Okay so there’s this weird shark boy guarding the gate, and then that business guy we saw earlier is behind a gate he’s guarding,” Taylor whispered to the group.

Jin moved around them and checked out the scene for himself as Taylor spoke. He watched the businessman and the topless man walk away into the darker end. He looked at the fishman and saw that he was in deep sleep. He figured it would be best to simply sneak past and not try to cause a ruckus. He looked on his personnel for a key of any type, and saw it hanging on the lantern beside the gate. The only hard part would be getting the key and sneaking four people through the gate without making any noise. He turned back over to his comrades and looked at them. ”So you guys got a plan? Because I got one, we just get the key and sneak past him, only hard part is we need to be quiet.

Kyte retrieved the bone and returned it to his regular shape as Taylor agreed it was ok if shaping bones was his power. He reached it back into his pack, and hefted the axe again. It was going to be a long day. It only felt like that, though. It had only been, what, thirty minutes since they had entered the sewers? Kyte wanted to get this assignment over with and go rest somewhere.

But fun was still yet to be had, he thought. Grinning, he went onwards into the tunnel. Taylor informed Kyte that Paunchy had always been vicious to protect someone, and Kyte shrugged. Taylor held the lantern high so that they could see more clearly than before, following Paunchy and Jin as Paunchy led the way. Kyte followed them as well, waiting for something to happen.

Jin asked him about the axe, noticing that Kyte had taken a bit of a liking to it. "In a way. It's because it's versatile, and has great smashing power as well as the ability to sever a limb. The reason is also because I need a secondary weapon. I have no desire to use bones all the time at my current state. The final reason is that if we reach a door along the way, I can smash it open."

Up ahead, Taylor and Jin slowed down. Kyte followed suit, and peered around the corner. There was a man in a shark suit, sitting in a chair, sleeping. Behind him was a gate bolted with iron, and the gate itself was fit together with iron bars. Kyte eyed the axe. Yep...he definitely wouldn't be able to cut down that. Kyte sighed. It would seem they were at an impasse. Kyte started thinking, and so did Jin.

Jin then said the exact thought that was on Kyte's mind. They would have to sneak past the guard, get the keys, and sneak through the gate without making any noise. There was another problem that Jin didn't state, but Kyte was sure the thought crossed Jin's mind. If the guard could wake up, he had to be silenced. Kyte now had just the thing for that. He grinned. This was going to be quite the challenge.

Kyte handed the axe to Jin, motioning not to let it hit the ground, because that would make a rather large noise. Kyte walked forward, creeping silently towards the man in the chair. Kyte read his body, and pulled out his newly acquired femur. Yes, this would be enough. He suddenly stopped. He wasn't trying to sneak past the man. He held the femur forward, and it extended slowly forward, almost like an extremely long range lance. It stopped extending for a second, Kyte making sure the position, and then suddenly thrust forward.

Normally, everyone would now label Kyte an idiot. Everyone knew that when you were stabbed in the stomach, you wouldn't die from it. Not as quickly as necessary. But how long he had to live was not the case here. What was the case here, was under what conditions he died. For, Kyte had extended the lance to stab through the man's right kidney. When the kidney was pierced, the pain was so immense for the victim that his throat would swell up, rendering him unable to make a noise from his throat.

The lance jutted out of the other side of the man, and then retracted, returning to the regular femur it was in Kyte's hand. He put the femur back in his pack, walking casually up to the gate. As if to show off his skills even more, he refused to take the keys off the wall, instead taking a fish bone from his pack. He held it up against the keyhole of the gate, and the bone extended inside it, fitting the grooves perfectly. He turned the literal skeleton key, and opened the gate.

He put the fish bone back in his pouch after returning it to normal, and then motioned for Jin to receive the keys off the wall. Who knows, it might unlock other doors along the way. He took the axe from Jin when he handed it to him, not in a rude manner of course, and hauled it across his shoulder again. He waited to see who would enter the tunnel first. He entered after the first person to enter the gate.

Taylor Durben watched as the Bone Devil Fruit user went along and did his mercless killing again. He watched the man be stabbed by the lance-shaped bone and couldn't believe what he was seeing. He thought it would've been a better idea to just sneak past him and go unnoticed. The bum simply shrugged and started to walk through the sewer gates. The sewer started to have more lanterns hung up, giving them light and no use for their own lantern. The bum blew out the light in the lantern and put it in his bag. He went through the door first, Kyte fikkiwubg behind him. Paunchy was following Jin who was getting the keys, then entering through the gate. Taylor turned around before speaking, "This is the hard part guys, now they will be infested with all kinds of smugglers probably, this used to be the main area where I would camp out, but one day their whole little gang came over and took over this dam place!" Taylor explained his retaliation and then pumped his fist into the air.

Jin watched Kyte going along to kill the guard. He watched as the bone manipulating male quickly went about his weapon and striking. When Kyte pulled out one of his bones and used it for a key, he was taken off guard by that. He didn't know that he could do such a thing with hsi manipulation power. It was an interesting power and it would be handy it could be handy in many cases. The pirate started to trudge through the muck again with the group. "Hmm, Taylor do you know anything about this 'gang'?" Jin asked the bum. He was wondering what kind of danger this whole gang would be. He didn't want to deal with a huge gang and have to go through a huge hassle, in order to not have a filthy grave.

Taylor Durben looked over to his acquaintances and thought about what to tell them. "Well, I know almost nothing about these guys, but hey... we'll see how dangerous these guys can be! So far they showed no threat!" the bum said optimistically. The homeless man proved to be useful through the beginning of the adventure, but the Kilah male wondered about his fighting skills. It seemed he didn't really show how well, or badly, he fought. It seemed Paunchy had the nature of a dog and could attack if it seemed fit. They walked through the sewer and as they could see a turn at the end. The lanterns that were lined up on the wall started to go out, as the glass shattered one by one. Taylor looked in front of them and saw a man. The man had a bandana over the bottom of his face and wore a black cap that covered hsi eyes. He was wearing a wife beater, torn and baggy jeans, and same boots. His weapon of choice seemed to be a scythe. The scythe's handle was three feet tall and the blade covered almost half the width of the sewer.

Footsteps could be heard behind the group as the dim light from the lanterns from behind the corner shined upon the new dangerous-looking thug. There seemed to be more enemies. Taylor hurried as he struggled to light up their lantern. When he lifted the lantern slightly into the air, it lit up behind them. Jin turned around and saw that there were two males now. One had a blunderbuss in one hand and a flintlock pistol in the other. The blunderbuss had the power to kill a man if shot in the wrong place. This sharpshooter was the one who shot through the lanterns and had decided to attack the group. The man beside te sharpshooter stood quiet, he was tall, taller than Jin. He was very lanky and seemed even taller. He seemed to have metal platings on some parts of his body, but some of his clothes would prevent that from being clarified. It was then the assault started without a word.

The buff scythe-weilding man swung his blade at Taylor would barely ducked under time to avoid it. The tip of the blade would cut Kyte's back if he was facing the two thugs behind him, or his stomache if facing forward. That was when the weird lanky tall man ran up to Jin and shot his palm out to Jin's stomach. The martial artist quickly blocked for hsi stomach. But he was surprised when nothing hit his arms. All he could feel was a cold metal against his arm and then a thrust against his arms. He felt a strong blunt attack against hsi arms and got sent flying against the sewer wall. He hit the wall, luckily not his head and his back first. The male quickly got back up and cracked the bones he felt got a little displaced. The sharpshooter took a couple steps back before aiming his pistol at Kyte. In the dim-lit sewer, the sharpshooter was hiding in the darkness practically. With Kyte having the tip of a blade coming at him, he would be busy and not see the sharpshooter aiming at him. It was seconds after the scythe man swung hsi blade and Jin got thrown against a wall that the sharpshooter shot his pistol at Kyte. The single metal bullet would start flying at an extreme velocity towards Kyte's side pelvis bone.

"Who are you people?!" Jin asked angrily, as he started to stand up. "We are the Druggy Pirates! We love drugs, money and pirating!" the man with the scythe spoke up. He would start to take another swing at Taylor, would this time would feel the sharp blade against his chest.
Jin ran up to the lanky pirate and punched straight into his stomach. This attack would at least bruise his internal organs and systems. He smirked when he saw that the lanky pirate was too late at dodging. Jin hit his stomach against with his palm but it had felt strange. It did not feel nromal and it felt like he had hit a wall. The lanky pirate lifted up his shirt and smirked. He had metal platings over the lower part of hsi body. "You see, I'm a cyborg!" the lanky pirate said with a chuckle. The metal plating on hsi stomache opened up and shot a spear attached to a rope at Jin.

Kyte listened as Taylor started explaining that it was only going to get more complicated from here on out. He said that he had formerly lived in these sewers, and that he would camp out here. This was all abruptly stopped when this gang had come down into the sewers and forced him out. Kyte sighed and shook his head. They couldn't even let a homeless man like Taylor sleep down here? They really were thugs.

It was then that Jin asked Taylor a question. He asked him for any further information about the gang. It was very good to ask that question; no use to be startled again by a giant man with an axe. Kyte also wanted more information on this group. What drug were they smuggling, exactly? There was another question that needed asking. Kyte had heard of the plants and powders that ones smoked and snorted through the nose to experience a "high" feeling.

He honestly didn't see the point to it; people should go out and make their own fun, he thought. Taylor answered Jin's question with something equivalent to "I don't know". Kyte sighed a bit. He wished that Taylor knew at least a bit more about their enemy, but it could not be helped. They would have to go on with hit and run, he guessed. Taylor also added a bit of optimism to his answer, saying that they had run smoothly until now, they shouldn't have more problems later on.

Kyte locked his gaze straight ahead. This was not necessarily true. It was almost as if Taylor said "How could it get any worse?". One lesson Kyte learned from experience: never, ever say it couldn't get any worse. It usually did; especially if you said that. As if on cue, some lanterns went out, the imminent sound of shattering glass filling the sewer. "Just our luck..." Kyte said.

A man had appeared before him. There were also some men behind them; two, from the sounds of things. Jin had whirled behind to see them. Kyte grinned. He had wanted the man in front anyways. He then saw his weapon: a scythe. Kyte froze. He eyed the axe in a split second, entering the state of time to where you could think a million thoughts at once. He then looked at the scythe. There was one thing apparent in Kyte's eyes: he wanted it.

Kyte heard Jin get slammed into a wall. Kyte grimaced. He had to finish his opponent, and fast, in order to help Jin. Jin got up and angrily asked who these men were. Kyte nodded. They needed to know, for these men were certainly not getting another chance to say it. The man in front of him answered, saying that they were the Druggy Pirates. Kyte's interest was piqued. Pirates? This was certainly going to be interesting.

The man began to swing. Kyte grinned, and did the thing few men would do in this situation: he went forward. The scythe was a beautiful, deadly weapon, but every weapon had its flaws. The scythe's was being bladed on only a certain part of the weapon. But Kyte did not underestimate its killing power; no. He twisted, grabbing the rod part of the scythe and letting the axe fall off his shoulder to the ground, making a dull *clank* noise.

He pulled on the scythe, trying to free it from the man's hand, but the man put up a struggle, the two were equal in trying to get it back. Kyte then suddenly ran past the man, holding the scythe by the rod still in an effort to take him by surprise and snatch the scythe. It succeeded, he snatched the man's scythe, but they had now just switched positions. Kyte blinked. Jin and Taylor were now in danger.

Before Kyte could react, however, there was a gunshot. It had come from one of the men that were behind them. The man he snatched the scythe from clutched his stomach, and fell backwards. He had apparently been shot. Kyte kept in mind that that was the exact position he was in before he had switched with the man. Unfortunately for their little spectator, Kyte could attack at long range as well.

Kyte immediately fished the femur out of his pouch and extended it. It made a sort of curve so it didn't "accidentally" impale one of his friends. It curved up to the ceiling and then down to the man with the guns, impaling him straight through the neck. Kyte had made the bone's density increase to the point of piercing steel, as well. It immediately retracted after piercing his flesh, leaving the throat to spray as much blood as it wanted to.

Kyte had extended the bone almost as quickly as a gunshot. He had only done it slowly before to get the feel of the bone and how well he could extend it. Not counting the man that fell out for the count, he quickly raised the axe in his right hand and plunged the bit down into the man's chest, knowing a simple gunshot wound wouldn't stop the man. Kyte then looked around, carefully observing his surroundings, analyzing his next move.

”OOC”

Taylor Durben felt a cut on his chest and cursed. He held the lantern high for everyone to see. Paunchy seemed to alert and trying to keep his master safe. It seemed the pirates were all busy with Jin and Kyte. Taylor just kept watching, as he ripped a part of his clothes and tied it around his cut. Taylor knew that this would be a tougher battle than any other ones. These guys seemed like real pirates and they didn’t seem like they were going to back down easily. Taylor kept shouting and cheering on his new partners. The homeless watched as Jin hit the lanky pirate and how he did not even react to the attack. He watched as the lanky pirate laughed and then shot something out of his stomach. He gasped, and watched what would happen to the herbalist.

The younger male, Jin, had little time to jump backwards before the spear would start coming at him again. He guessed the rope was to pull his target back to him and then hurt them. The Kilah male simply smirked and grabbed the spear right before it would pierce him. He felt the tip cut a little bit, but not anything serious or noticeable at all. Jin acted like he had gotten stabbed to throw off the cyborg. He had his eyes wide open and acted to cringe in pain. He felt himself getting reeled over pretty fast. He timed when the cyborg would be at range. Jin kept holding the spear by his left hand and as he started to get closer his form would change slightly. He had used his Devil Fruit to become stronger and more agile.

Meanwhile, Kyte had made a big mistake by taking the pirate’s scythe by the rod. The next thing Kyte would notice as his axe dropped to the ground, was that the scythe’s rod would break up into three parts connected with steel chains. The rod parted, and it would then swing around the male that was rushing at him. The scythe would go around Kyte and keep him immobilized, as well as injuring him possibly. Kyte would have to act faster than he was, to get away. And not to mention that there was still a bullet aimed at Kyte. It seemed that the worst was coming to its end. Barking could be heard, and a small yelp was heard when few seconds passed after the gunshot. The bum could be seen walking over to his pet and held him up. He looked for the bullet wound by frantically checking the canine’s fur and skin.

Jin’s tail was sly as it slowly started to wrap around the cyborg’s neck from behind. As Jin flew towards the cyborg, he let out a strong punch to his face. At the same time, his tail held the pirate’s neck and started to strangle him. Jin took the spear in his left hand and stabbed him through the ribs, but he heard a metal clank as it started to sink in. It seemed he had hit metal that could possibly be protecting the more vital organs. Jin let his tail go when he saw the pirate seemed to be unconscious and kicked him away. The doctor then ran over to Taylor who was holding Paunchy dearly by him. The dog’s breathing could be heard breaking slowly, and getting heavier. Jin leaned over and saw that the bullet wound had entered from the ribs and exited near his heart. He was lucky it didn’t pierce his heart, but the injury was fatal for the dog. It wouldn’t be long before the dog would die. Taylor knew this and simply kept his pet close to him.

Minutes would pass before the canine passed away and tears slowly filled the eyes of the bum. All eyes were on him and it seemed even the pirates felt a little guilt for what they had done. It was then Taylor Durben’s rage had filled the air. He hung up the lantern when a broken lantern was and walked over to where Kyte had dropped his axe. Taylor picked up the axe and instead of helping out Kyte, rushed for the man with the pistol. The sharpshooting pirate aimed his blunderbuss at the bum and shot it. The bum reacted quickly by blocking his vital organs with the large axe. Taylor then ran up to the sharpshooter and brought down the axe to severe his left arm that held the pistol.

The pirates were pulling out all the stops in their fight. It would seem that Kyte was in some trouble now. When he had reached for the scythe, it had split apart into three sections. So it was a three section scythe. Great, he thought sarcastically. Just what I need. It whirled around him, binding his arms to his back as it wrapped upwards. The scythe blade was going to enter his mouth.

There was suddenly a resounding clang. It would probably draw people's attention, but the only one that really needed to see was the pirate with the scythe. A visor of sorts had formed around the lower half of Kyte's head, and looked armor-esque. Kyte's red eyes looked at him boringly, as the scythe blade slowly fell out of the visor. He had used his own teeth to make this, and had put all the density he could into it to make sure he was not going to have a permanent smile on his face.

A spike shot from the visor downwards, going through three chain links. It then widened, snapping the chains. Kyte picked up the rod section of the scythe with the scythe blade on it. The spike receded back into the visor as Kyte drew the katana with his right hand. Kyte was silent, for he could not speak efficiently, and slashed his opponent across the chest in an upwards diagonal motion, from the man's right side of his waist to his right shoulder. Kyte was now serious.

Paunchy was shot. This only made Kyte more angry. If Kyte hadn't been foolish, Paunchy would not have been shot. Still silent, almost like a specter of death, a slender spike started forming out of the visor, and shot at the man's eye. It was the size of a needle, and it was slender, almost completely unnoticeable. Kyte hauled the katana over his shoulder. These Druggy Pirates, or whatever they were, were going to perish. The evil look on his face confirmed this for them.

Taylor Durben stood in front of the sharpshooter with anger in his eyes. He felt blood running down his right hand and his left thigh. It was from the shrapnel of the bulderbuss when it ricochetted off the axe. The male bum was angry and the sharpshooter was on his knees grabbing his arm socket. It had been severed off and he was trembling from the sight of his own arm on the floor. "You hurt Paunchy! Now I will hurt you!" Taylor yelled at him. The bum raised the axe once again. The sharpshooting pirate stared at the bum, his right hand dropped the unloaded blunderbuss and reached for one of his one-shot revolvers. He reached for it and shot at the homeless man as soon as he could. The bullet hit the sewer wall and ricochetted off it, before diving into the water and being lost in the muck. The sharpshooter pirate's last sights were the angry eyes of a bum and a bloody axe coming down right between his eyes.

The scythe pirate smirked when he caught the swordsman off guard. He pulled on the scythe to bring the blade to slice Kyte's mouth. The pirate quickly realized he was the one that was caught off guard. He watched as some white visor was used as a defensive shield against the scythe. He grinned when he saw a spike from the visor come down and rip his scythe apart. The pirate quickly grabbed the two rods with chains hanging from the ends. He tied the two chains together to make a nunchaku out of the rods. The pirate barely dodged an upward slash and felt his clothes tear a bit. He was being careful because he knew a little about Devil Fruits adn that they gave amazing powers. He was slightly intimidated and was fully on his guard. He managed to dodged a spike that was aimed for his eye, but it had manged to give him a cut on his cheek. The pirate went to strike Kyte with his nunchaku. He swung it at Kyte's temple and then followed it up to sweep him.

It was during the nunchaku attacks that the cyborg pirate started to get back up. He was behind Jin who was watching Kyte fight. The cyborg pirate watched the homeless man pick the axe back up from his fallen comrade's face. He had to get out of here and he needed to help out his partner that was struggling to survive with the weird Devil Fruit user. The cyborg released a panel on his thigh that let out a small spherical ball. It shot out and stuck to the wall, then half of the sphere fell to the ground. Both the halves started to spray blinding smoke in the air that made it hard to see. The sewer started to fill up with smoke and the single lantern was not enough light. The cyborg shouted something to his comrade and splashes could be heard. The Druggy pirates were making a run for it and it seemed they were going to escape.

"Ahh shit! They're getting away!" Jin yelled out as he started to walk towards the end of the tunnel. The smoke was starting to clear away, as he started to wave around and saw that the pirates were gone. They had also taken their fallen comrade. He could see Paunchy being held by Taylor Durben, and Kyte with his bone's as somekind of mouth guard. He waved some smoke from his face and got the hung lantern. "Lets get moving, it won't be long before they'll send stronger guys to really beat us," he said, as he walked forward and turned a corner. He looked ahead and could see that there was lanterns set up, that led a path once again. He looked behind him to see if the others were following him. Taylor Durben looked ahead as he spoke.
"We're almost at the point where the ships and the underground sewers connect," his voice was serious, for the first time. His voice held a cold and monotone voice. He was still angry and it could be seen in his eyes.
