Katoma took on a face of a bit of worry. Twoscore... that meant FOURTY thieves. His eyes stared down in shock at the concept of having to deal with that many. No. Fourty ONE thieves. Katoma would cringe and tense up at the antiseptic liquid, the stuff still hurt regardless, then he relaxed when the bandages helped smother it, loosening the density of the liquids. When the mention of a hunt came up, Katoma looked at Joros, his eyes lighting up. Whether it was the sword or the blacksmiths, these men lost a lot. And since it happened with him there he couldn't help but feel responsible. Listening to Hephs as he ordered Jeyla to give him the info, he would sit there for a moment while letting everything (including the Inn location) swirl in his head, then he stood up. "I may not be a hunter, but as a follower of the sword I have more than enough skill to hunt down a bunch of dirty bastards." he said with pride in his heart. "I can't just let this go, even if I'm not allowed as part of that party I will just follow them anyhow and assist on my own terms." he said with his eyes taking on a sharp serious look to them. "Call me rude, call me stubborn, but that thief, and his group, they are nothing more than scum that must be punished. And since the man took advantage of ME to get in..." he said taking guesses that the man used the Smith's entry at -that- time into the building to sneak in, hence Katoma's fault since he was letting Katoma in at that time, "Then it's my responsibility to take up my sword. Until I do, I will feel shame in my heart and dishonor that would put my father's hopes of me to shame." |

Hephs stopped for a moment, before he was all the way into the Smithy again. "We can speak of it tomorrow. Jeyla, he will need some more appropiate clothes." Hephs said over his shoulder. The inn that Jeyla had given directions to laid a few blocks to the south of the smithy. Jeyla went to fetch some more appropriate clothes for the desert environment, they included several layers of light cotton, for keeping away the sun, but maximizing any winds captured. It also allowed for removing or adding layers for night time or a sweltering day. The headgear was a sort of hood, that did not need to be wrapped before wearing. The inn itself was hard to miss. It was three stories tall, the balconies, it's height and large sign made stick out. The sign announced it's presence 'The Desert Rat'. It was mostly made of wood, it had the look of a building that had managed to stand the test of time, but just barely. |

Katoma would stand there, agitated that they were reacting so casually. He could tell he was getting hot headed, hell, probably even hot blooded, but he had a thief right in front of him, who murdered people and stole a precious sword. Why wouldn't he be pissed. Standing there with his fist clenched, his thoughts were swirling in a storm asbetween "Destroy", "Get them", "Wait for help" and "Food". It was then he noticed his stomach was growling. He let out a sigh. "Guess I might as well rest..." he said as he moved his hand behind his head and rubbed the back of his neck. As he walked out, Jey would bring him the new clothes, he smiled to her, his eyes relaxing a bit as he nodded showing a face of gratitude for her help. "Thank you." He said bowing lightly. He took the clothes and walked off, his face quickly turning back to it's more calm demeanor, he was thinking about what to do. As he walked out and down the street, a plethora of thoughts came to him. That man who stole the sword, was obviously superior to him now, just barely he believed. That sword was no joke to carry, it was meant to be strong enough to cleave Diamonds after all, meaning he had strength. The weight of the sword would hinder the man, so if he was running as fast as Katoma, they were the same speed. The guy ran longer than Katoma himself though he could, that only left one area he was unsure about at the moment. He'd need to improve regardless his body before his encounter with that man, no, with that whole group of 41 thieves. God knows how many he'd have to deal with personally. He came about to the inn subconsciously, the size wasn't anything of a surprise, and his free hand rummaged through his money pocket (on the opposite side) and pulled out his beli to see how much he had. Should be enough, it was all that remained of his family's money, as he stuffed it back into his pocket. He stepped inside the Inn and would look around for the Inn Keep, finding his way to the desk, finding a Bell on the desk as he pressed down on it so it rang. Soon enough the inn keep came around, and after a short process, Katoma recieved his room key and headed to get some damned sleep. Edited by Katoma, May 13 2010, 04:55 AM.
