The island was behind them, the sky was clear and all that was left now, was to enjoy the treasure they have gained. The calm sea seemed to call out for enjoyment and relaxation, and that was exactly what he intended on getting. His wounds from the previous battle were covered in bandages, simply because they healed everything. His previous bruises had slipped away into nothing on his tan skin and for once his skin was clearly visible. He was in nothing but the black marina and blue shorts, his headband still wrapped tightly as he lay down, snuggled against the treasure chests like they were his babies.

Up until a little while ago he was actually asleep, he slept next to them because, well, he loved treasure. His body was curled around the chests like a mother snake with it's eggs, the cold metal pressed against his vaguely muscled chest. With a final squeeze, his arms detached from the metal boxes, and slid backwards into a stretch, his back loosening up and his arms as well. He turned onto his back and looked up to the sky for a mere minute, before he arched his legs up to his chest and looked ahead. He smiled, seemingly towards the sun, rolling backwards into a handstand and then easily back onto his feet. The acrobatic teen quickly scratched the back of his head as he came up from his effortless motion. Movements like that were second nature to him, half awake or not, it was relatively easy to perform.

He was almost dragging his feet now, the exhaustion of the journey barely left on his body, the cold of the chest was both for healing and his actual passion for it. As he groggily stepped forward, in search of Yaksha, the sun beat down harder than before, just ensuring him that he was no longer dreaming or half asleep. He was slowly growing to hate the sun, but his mood was too good to let such a thing disturb him. His hands dropped to the deck as he looked at the bland thing, and soon enough, a wild purple, black and white design was spread onto the floor. The carpet held swirls of both black and white on its purple glory, the tired boy didn't feel like moving much more and so with a simple movement, lifted the carpet and slipped beneath it. The sun was too much, Yaksha would find him when he was needed.

BANG BANG BABY!

There was a click and a clatter as the door on the far side was opened up. The sound of heavy footsteps could be heard all the way down the long corridor. However, these footsteps sounded differently. If one listened close enough there was a smaller lighter set falling being covered by the heavier set. A bunch of cat-calls and wolfish whistles went up as another woman was led in cuffs down the hall. She was of slight build and nothing remarkable, except for the grin on her face. This was a game to the new inmate...a game she always wanted to play. Escape a marine prison.

Aoime's eyes remained closed as she listened to the unique names and calls the male inmates gave her. She smiled as she opened her deep blue eyes and smile at them. Everything was a game to her, including life. "You boys have good food here? I didn't get to finish my meal before being dragged in here." She batted her eyelashes at the big marine, and chuckled to herself. At the end of the hall she was placed in her cell, directly opposite the only other female here. "What no food?" Aoime chuckled some more, loving to ruffle the marines.

She looked over the spartan conditions and shrugged, flopping on the bed a bit. Aoime stuck up her cuffed hand and waved over to her...companion. "Nice to see another feminen face in this place. What are you in for?" She left the words hanging in the air, but didn't really wait for the other to respond. "Name's Aoime, Aoime Houhei, and I like shooting things." Aoime made a gun out of her hand and shot it. "Bang!" She chuckled and rolled over on her bed. "So what's your plan of escape?"

If nothing else...at least she was straightforward and blunt. Then again, she was usually pretty blunt when she wanted to be. However, that wasn't that often. She loved to put up false faces and feelings to hide her true intentions. Some might say Aoime Houhei was a two-faced viper. Which, wasn't really far from the truth at all.

The cells were mostly quiet now, a sort of stark and somber stillness settled over the remaining inmates. Mariko's presence seemed to have shifted them all to being quiet and not concerned with her anymore, even the ones around her had pretty much settled in. But all it had taken was another female face entering the place and the men had risen up like a flock of wolves; Mariko was too violent, probably would have taken some faces and body parts off. This new one looked more promising to a lot of the men, but they made a large mistake just going off like fire sirens. Behind the large Marine escorting Aoime to her cell were at least four Marines, all armed with what looked like short poles that has some kind of rubber surface on both ends. And almost immediately they started smashing them into faces, forcing the prisoners back into their cells and shutting the yaps of the everyone pretty quickly.

Once Aoime was securely set into her cell, most of the Marines started stalking back down the halls towards the Guard Post, but one hung back a little as he leaned close to a particularly noisy man in a cell and jabbed him with the pole once more, then stepped back from the cell. The other Marines disappeared down the corridor and this particular Marine scoffed and turned back towards the hallway, walking down it. There was an instant where it looked like his hand moved and something passed into a cell from him, but the light and shadows in the god-forsaken cell were playing heavy kinds of tricks on them it seemed. Soon enough he was gone down the hall as well.

A sleepy tone escaped the cell down from Mariko's own, the voice's owner being the odd man who'd dozed off after a while and only now saw fit to speak. "..Oi, Mariko...Tell the fresh blood my name. I'm too tired..." he muttered softly as he stood up in the cell, his purple hair a mess and he ran his hand over it to try and straighten it out. The wall-mounted bench in his cell was covered by the unconscious and wounded guy and he had obviously taken the floor.

The ship that Yaksha's boat was pulling along was a beast of a vessel. Anchored perhaps a mile from the shore of the island behind a basically large outcropping rocks and stone, one of many. The sea was littered with hiding places like this, a cruel joke for passing ships who thought safety only to have a pirate ship sail out of their shadow and overtake the unsuspecting ones. The large ship was a small brig with large sails and of course the Gallow's Peak signature: Off the middle mast were several nooses and wrapped in each noose was a Jolly Roger or a flag of some kind. Marine 93rd Division, The Sawdust Pirates, Angel and Angel Bounty Hunter Company...Numerous flags blazoned in the wind, mimicing an old fashioned hanging ground. Representing the groups that The Dreadnought had taken out on his journey.

Leaning over the rail of his ship was Dressel now, arms crossed a little and looking directly at the ship that was approaching them, though he didn't precisely seem afraid or worried. Aside from it's impressive mast display, the Gallow's Peak had five cannons mounted visibly behind Dressel, all aimed toward the sky like a volley. Of course, the deck also had a lot of Pirates visibly on board, all working hard to get something in order. Some heavy weapons were being lugged about and one particular man was knelt down, organizing several small petards; barrels that had gunpowder bags lined beside them and various fuses and oils. Quite a few things were going on here and Dressel was more interested in the ship sailing in beside him. In his hand was a large glass of what looked like just flat swill a large bottle beside him. A few other Pirates paid some attention to the smaller craft but they didn't seem particularly threatened, mostly because Dressel was basically between the two ships.

And Dressel didn't seem worried at all.

Yaksha smiled up at the brow of the ship, raising a hand lazily in what could've passed for a wave. His face held a slight, chilling grin, as he stared at the pirate who glared down at them. His own expression was one of faint amusement, and he seemed to give off an air of practiced disinterest when he turned away. His voice travelled on the breeze, carefree and light, as he moved towards Nat.

"Come on down, friend. We've certainly got room for one more."

The tall pirate spotted a lump of carpet on the boat before him. He smirked slightly, raising one of his boots and resting it gently on top of the black and purple markings. He slowly began to lean into it, his body's weight pressing down on the young doctor. "Wake up, Nat...we have a visitor."

A split second after his words came, there was a loud thunk onto the wood of the ship, followed by the sound of rustling clothes, and a sharp clap from Yaksha. "Elizza, that's enough. We're not here to fight. Surely these pirates have a reason for docking here, so it's only fair we give them whatever help we can, now isn't it?" The female pirate's blade was resting in her hand, held just a few inches from his flesh. "He JUMPED! The fuck's wrong with-"

"I know what he did, Elizza. I invited him to do it. Now, put down the sword, so we can talk as captains." He turned away from Nat, his hand moving to his head quickly and pulling the tophat off with a flourish. His right leg jerked outward, his hand quickly rocketing skyward; it was less an act of obeisance and more of a result of complex topology. "Yaksha D. Monevarious. I've been called the Master of Manipulation, the Duke of Deception, the Lord of Lies, and the Governor of Guile. Trickery is my game, and I'll tell you up front; you can't trust a word I say!" He chuckled softly, as if telling some complex joke.

(I was told to post?)

Sleep, such a wonderful thing in these times. It was the time when peace truly existed and you actually could do anything within the safety of your mind. It was such a powerful thing and it made him feel so good afterwards, like really, who didn't like rest? Nat was pretty normal in that respect, but because of that same normality, he hated to be awakened forcibly from sleep. The fact he woke up to a slowly increasing amount of weight on his back made him open his eyes slowly, but still to only about half way.

Light once again splashed his world into color as the weight seemed to become steady and Yaksha's voice carried itself into his ears. He couldn't tell what he was saying exactly, but he was talking so he assumed he should be listening, but he was so damn tired. He groaned once, his half finished journey now complete because Yaksha was so close, but that wasn't for to long. He had moved from him and went over to the front of the ship once again, Nat tried to close his eyes, but he heard something about fighting, or battle, or something. Without really thinking he got up and moved out of the carpeted shelter he had created, well at least the deck looked good, even if he couldn't sleep, it was no longer a wooden eye sore.

Standing at his full height, Nat's hands fell onto his hips and he leaned backwards, stretching the last of his muscles. The rest was barely even a 2 minutes, but as a performer he had to make sure he was always limber. He merely looked over his shoulder and blinked thrice, before turning around to the people and smiling a wide smile. From his gi, he pulled a slip of paper, a letter his parents had given him that had nothing more than "Send us money" scribbled messily onto it. He waved it proudly in the air and smiled a toothy smile as he was about to bluff his ass off along with Yaksha.

"On this note...i hold the secret to---"

He was cut off as the paper flew from his hand with a slight breeze, flapping away over his shoulder, leaving the boy facing the pirates with an awkward and shocked expression. His jaw dropped and a vein on the side of his head twitched. His eyes seemed to enlarge and remain completely blank for a few seconds of awkward tension, which was suddenly broken as Nat turned and ran for the note.

"No! No! Come back!"

He yelled as he chased and grabbed at the empty air, missing the paper each time as it lazily and effortlessly flipped out of his reach. He was nearing the ships edge, and he had to go all or nothing in this instant or he was pretty much screwed. With a final dive he reached both arms out like a pouncing feline, the look of complete focus visible on his face as a twinkle appeared in his eyes. His dive quickly turned back into an arc, and he hit the ground quickly, happy for a second before he slammed into the ship's edge, forcing his legs into a small upwards arc from the recoil. For a few seconds it appeared like he was knocked out, and then suddenly his right arm weakly came up, showing off the prize he had, his thumb coming up beside it.

His victory was unfortunately short lived as a seagull flew down and gripped the paper that was inside of his hand. It's beak taking hold and it continued it's journey to the sea, squawking happily as it did so. Nat's arm did no more than twitch before it dropped onto the guard between him and the open sea, pulling him up onto it. His chest sat on it, and his left arm dangled, his right arm reached for the sky as large streams of tears ran below each eye. His mouth formed a large frown, and he sniffled twice as he watched the bird fly away.

"Come...back..."

Mariko glared at the Marines as they entered, finally getting some attention from the bastards. Of course, it didn't take more than a couple seconds to realise that they were busy with something else as they pulled a woman down through the cells and the men started hooting and hollaring. "Oh, you bunch of bastards." She called out, slamming her cuffs into the door again. The sound of her voice and her strikes were barely audible though, what with the other prisoners reacting to the newbie and crying out from the abuse.

Mariko pressed herself against the bars and stood as tall as she could to watch them throw a woman in across from her. "Oi you, jackass." She told one of the Marines, having him turn around to her. "Want to give me a fucking bite to eat or at least some kind of whiny bitch excuse for why none of you have any balls?" She asked him with a shit-eating grin. The man hefted his stick towards her and she only smiled. "No, please, try it." She told him, taking one step back and raising her cuffed hands. "Want to see a bound woman fuck a Marine?" She asked him.

The Marine turned his back on her once the duty of the group was completed, ignoring her comment completely. "Oi! You son of a bitch!" Mariko called after him, only one of the Marine bothering to stick around for any amount of time. She sighed heavily and looked across the way to the new woman on the block. As expected, she certainly talked a lot more playful than Mariko did. Probably why the men reacted to well to her. Mariko didn't respond to Aoime, however, preferring to grip the lock of her door with a displeased glance until Elles spoke up.

"Che. Whatever." She responded, letting out a sigh as she realised that the new girl would be pulled into shit anyway. "Over there is Elles. He likes being weird or some shit." Mariko pointed out. "I'm Mariko, I guess you could say I blow stuff up." She rolled her tongue in her mouth a bit. It was getting kind of dry as time went on. "Better off talking to someone else for a plan. I'll just say this much though, Blue," She explained to Aoime, "Once this friendly little cuff is off, I'm not gonna stop until this building is shaken to its foundation. Remember that." She told her seriously.

Dressel

The man had spent a few seconds watching the boat in question before he had quite simply pulled himself onto the edge of the rail on his boat and made himself stand straight, waiting until Yaksha's boat was close enough before he jumped. He bent down a little, knees bent and then pushed himself forward, evidently trusting in his own strength enough to not completely mess up the landing and drown or collapse the smaller craft. It wasn't a particularly graceful sailing through the air kind of jump, but he landed on his feet all the same. The man's massive stature couldn't be underplayed or overstated even: Over seven feet tall and all the look of a Marine, dark dray Officer's Coat draped as a twisted play on the 'noble sea enforcer' that Marines claimed to be.

He grinned momentarily as Elizza reacted to his presence by drawing her blade and he shook his head, jet black hair not even moving. His departure had drawn the interest of the other Pirates and behind him one in particular was visible; A well tanned young woman with blond hair, currently dressed in what one might imagine was a female noble's outfit; Vest, loose shirt underneath, flowing skirt, long jacket and silver hair ornaments, keeping the locks back. All in varying patterns of white, blond or gold. She paid about three seconds of attention before stepping away, but some of the other men leaned over the rail to watch.

Only when Yaksha stepped forward and spoke did Dressel do anything but right himself on the boat, the impact having shook it a little and once Yaksha did speak, the man grinned. He then proceeded to grin back and offer his own reply, saying "Krasvar Von Dressel. Terror of North Blue, Marine Traitor, Pirate Scum, Destroyer. A pleasure to meet you, Yaksha...But then, I suppose I can't trust your name now can I?" he said, chuckling as he looked to Elizza. There was a certain pierce in his stare before he turned his eyes to Nat.

"Well then..." he said, turning to Yaksha and crossing his arms. The gray coat was open, revealing the attire of a typical sailor; white short shirt, light pants, boots, nothing out of the ordinary for him. His body was pretty massive still, muscles making his arms seem larger then they were. "What brings you all here? I don't think Pirates would be sailing into an island notorious for Bounty Hunters unless they had a mission...What is it?"

Yaksha clapped softly and politely, his entire gaze seeming to size up the man; he seemed almost to have been simply crafted from stone, instead of born from any human. There seemed to be a look as of a drill seargent around the pirate, and Yaksha was surprised he hadn't simply forced him to the ground on principal. His voice issued as a soft dulcet cry that brought to mind a nobleman or a wealthy shopkeeper. Even the words brought to mind a successful businessman; every word seemed made to charm and beguile, and had one been pressed to describe the voice God would've spoken with, it couldn't have been far from this.

"Hitsuji Archipelago, yes. I'm well aware of the rumors that abound; many a friend has told me stories of friends who dropped off to resupply, only to be given a room behind bars. I've never been here myself, and I've never been one to take claims at face value. Still, I have no intention of being locked away."

The slender pirate spread his arms wide, his voice rising several octaves until it was almost a fervant scream. "These foolish marines think they've been given some sort of divine right to judge others! They condem us as evil, and claim that law is the equivilant of morality, yet many of their own are as deplorable as the very pirates they face. I've never been one for fighting; a messy, noisy business that always hurts at least one person in the crossfire, and leaves both participants a sweaty, tattered mess that's much less happy than when they began." A hand ran through his hair slowly, before he spoke again, in a voice that seemed to say he had been waiting for the next words.

"I imagine a night with your mother is an apt comparison. Still, ancient history belongs in the past. But, Dressel...I came here for a simple reason. I came here to show the marines that they are only human. That even they can make mistakes. And what better way than to throw this entire island into chaos on their watch? Now, then...tell me what a 'Marine Traitor' would be doing at this island? What mission could be worth this sort of risk?"

He turned slowly, moving towards Nat with a smooth, lithe grace; he seemed almost to glide as he extended a hand and smiled half tauntingly, half helpfully. "Do you see what happens when you try something you haven't trained at, Nat? You're about as good at bluffing as I am at treating wounds. These sorts of things take skill, Nat...and you're much too young to understand the art of plucking the human mind. Now, take my hand and let's get to the business at hand, shall we?"

The sad acrobat stared into the horizon and watched his seagull friend carry away his letter with no sign of any feeling. It was like the letter was nothing more to it then food or nesting, which it most likely was. Then again his parents cared for money a lot, it wasn't like he'd forget it because it was gone, it was just sad because he no longer had anything from his past. Maybe this was the world's way of saying he needed to move on and start an entirely new life on the open sea. He would miss those days and he'd miss the people he knew back then as well, nothing but the horizon was left, his tears continued down his face and he pulled himself off the edge, sitting crossed legged, and wearing a large frown as the stream continued.

He sniffled thrice and then before he knew it the man who jumped on the ship began to speak aloud, something he couldn't hear to well. Nat crawled over to Yaksha, seemingly defeated and at a loss of words, he was partially heart broken at the moment. He looked at the female warrior and continued his sobbing as he crawled up her leg and hugged onto her loosely, knowing Yaksha would simply just push him away, maybe she wouldn't be so mean. His sniffling subsided with a sigh as his head tilted to the floor and his eyes switched up to the shore, something catching his eyes. There was a figure in a brown cloak, a set of goggles on her head and blonde hair that was strangely familiar to him, he tried to figure out who it was, but shrugged it off as she kept moving. Maybe she wasn't important, but she seemed to be, something about her made Nat stop to think and actually made him forget the letter, he needed to learn who she was. If only he could swim, maybe that Devil's fruit wasn't a good idea after all.

He was thinking of jumping onto the other ship and easily hopping over like the other man did. If he could do it, Nat should be able to do it with little problem and if anything this should be easier than burglary like he was used to. He was a terrible thief, but it put food on the table, as long as he wasn't caught he was okay and moments like this were fairly common when he stole from ships. He was about to move, when Yaksha's words bounced about within his ears, Yaksha had just successfully landed a Yo Momma Joke, and Nat was trying not to laugh. His cheeks inflated like balloons, his body went limp and like a wet noodle he teetered back and forth as he reached the ground. His hands covered his mouth as his eyes made crescent shapes and he turned up to the sky looking at it as he kept his mouth covered. His head hit the ground as he continued, but he couldn't hold it back much longer.

"Nh....Nh...Nhahahahahahahhahahahaha!!"

He began as he rolled onto his back and began to kick out all around as his hands grasped his stomach. His laugh boomed from his lungs in a loud sound as he continued for a good while before he rolled onto his side and wiped a tear from his eye. Yaksha, such a funny man. Slowly he reclimbed the warrior and placed both hands as fists on his sides as he released a calming sigh. He had gotten all his laughing out, he should be cool for now.

"Ah...That was rich...you're a good man Yaksha, Good man."

Aoime lay on the bed listening as the guards jabbed the male prisoners. The noise was a cacophony and made her blood warm in her veins. It was kind of thrilling from a certain point of view. On the one hand she was locked up in a marine prison, on the other hand she was about to bust out from said prison. It was all very very exciting, and it took every ounce of her will to keep herself from bouncing around all giddy like a school girl. Still she did resist and stayed on the bed, looking like there was no hope.

She listened half-interested in Mariko's words. So...she made things go boom. Either she's a demo-girl or something else, still couldn't hurt to find out. She let out a sigh and brought her upper body up by her elbows, looking at Mariko across the corridor. "So you enjoy blowing things up. I prefer to riddle my targets with bullet holes, still....not that different all together, are we?" Aoime grinned at Mariko and there was for an instant a faint showing of her other; colder, darker, calculating killing side showing. But it was faint and very brief.

Elles

Seemingly ignoring Mariko and Aoime's voices in the background Elles made a brief pace around his 'cage' and stretched widely, letting out a rather loud yawn as the two snipped back and forth. The cells quieted down again which was no real surprise given that even with the second woman joining the quaint cell, the majority of the men in them were injured and pretty damn well incapable of wolf calling much more. Those that had done so before had mostly been 'quieted down' and were joining their friends as too injured to do or say much. Elles' movement stopped as he got to the side of the bars separating him from Mariko. Of course the three cells inbetween them didn't much help communication.

"Bullets, bombs...I heard a joooke about this once but I never bothered to figure out a punchline." he said, smirking as he moved his hand very briefly through the air. It looked like something pretty much billowed from his hand, shadows glancing off it at weird angles and it eventually sailed past a few bars and smacked onto the floor of Mariko's cell. It was evidently wrapped in a weirdly designed white paper wrap and if she opened it, she'd get to ask herself how Elles managed to get roasted meat. "If you're feeeeling friendly, you can slide it to the new girl." Elles said, groaning as he plopped back down against the bars of his cell, resting his head.

Dressel

The joke might've made someone lesser then Dressel react violently or snap, even grimace. Of course Dressel just remained quite stoic for a moment before a bit of a stifled snicker escaped his lips, the man raising his hand up to stifle it as he looked dead at Yaksha, ignoring the 'doctor' who thought the joke was amusing. "I wasn't aware you were into women that old, but who am I to judge taste?" he responded, a glint of a humorous tone escaping him before he let out another gentle laugh and quietly sat down, finding a conveniently placed crate to plop down on and lean back, hands resting on the railing of the ship as he half-lounged, half sat.

"Well, far be it from me to stifle another anarchist...You might even be handy. A few nights ago, some of my men decided to take leave of the Gallow and took my Quartermaster with them. There was a bit of a bar brawl and a couple of Bounty Hunters picked up the pieces...And cracked a few skulls. My Second Mate was clear headed enough to avoid being taken in, tailed the hunters and got back to the ship to tell me what he found. Twelve of my men are sitting pretty banged up in a Brig on the island. Marine Field Office, designed to hold prisoners the hunters capture until they can be transported to trial facilities, blah blah blah..." he said, looking at Yaksha the whole time. Then shifting a bit.

"According to a few friends I have left in this particular area, the Transport Ship comes once every two weeks. Random day in the second week after the last pick up, never at night and always armed with at least a Captain, maybe a Commander for high risk pick ups...And thirteen men of my crew are enough to warrant the latter." he said, a glint catching his eye as he said 'thirteen'. Then he pushed himself a little, standing up now and moving over to the edge of the ship, lifting his hand. Then rearing it back and slicing it across the air. Seconds before he swept his hand, there was an odd drip into the water below...

'Something' burst from his hand and arm and immediately swirled through the air, a sort of shape taking forth from what looked like thick, goopy gel. It connected the edge of Yaksha's boat to the railing of the Gallow's Peak and in a few seconds, with a sound like snapping, the dripping stopped. A glass bridge between the two ships, with indentations for feet and crude grips for hands so that no one slid off the smooth glass. "Come on up. We'll discuss how we can help each other." Dressel said, moving his arm a little as if to wave it off. The gel-like substance had faded into his arm once more.

Mariko tossed a glance upwards at Aoime's comment, not really looking for a means to compare the two of them anyway. The last little glance that she got as well caused her little concern, though she could recognize the look. She wasn't impressed much by that kind of thing, but she had known more two-faced people than even she would have liked. The woman twisted her wrists inside the cuffs, blood drying on her wrists with the occasional drop inching its way down to her fingers. The warmth of her own blood and the pain from the cuffs caused her entire arms to heat up.

Now having multiple people to deal with around here, she turned to Elles as he spoke to her through a couple full cells. "You would know a joke." She said back to him sourly. "I'm sure it was a real fucking laugh too." She added, watching as he began to reach out to her, literally, from a distance away. Quite a show to deliver a small wrapped gift to her. She looked to Elles and then at the present, an untrustworthy eye glancing back and forth. "For me? You shouldn't have." She added, letting out a sigh from not having anything else to do.

Mariko approached the gift and unwrapped enough to see what was inside. A chunk of roasted meat met her on the inside. It smelled a little lukewarm, but it was still meat. She couldn't help but smile and let out a barking laugh at it. "I gotta get this from you, of all people? Fuck me." She said, wiping her bloodied hands on her hip before reaching inside and pulling off a piece of the meat. She popped it in her mouth and chewed thoughtfully. "You sure know how to woo a girl." She told him with so much sarcasm it almost dripped onto her meal. "Though if you're out shopping for me again, I'd really like some keys." She added, raising her arms to show off her cuffs. She swallowed, feeling like her strength was returning - more from the improved mood than an effect of the meat at this stage, of course. She helped herself to another chunk and then looked over to Aoime.

"She's got spirit and she's unwounded." Mariko told herself, looking back to Elles as he had, after all, made the offer in the first place. "I'm not feeeeeeeeling friendly." She told him, mocking his speech pattern roughly and making a face while she did so. "Still, your food, your rules. I know you're not feeding me to make friends." Mariko pointed out. She continued to eat at a slow pace, finally turning back to Aoime. The lion's share of the meat was gone by that point, but what was left was still better than a prisoner would eat anyway, let alone of a roast.

"Hey, Blue." She said, not really working to get Aoime's attention but rather pointedly focusing on her now. "If you're so interested a plan, you'd better keep your strength up, right?" She said, grabbing the wrapping and mashing the paper into a rough ball around the meat. "Guess what? Weirdo down at the end's recruited you to the effort. If you want to thank him, do whatever the hell you want." She told her. It wasn't easy in the least in order to toss a ball of paper through bars while hand-cuffed, but Mariko moved to do what she could. She gave a light underhand throw that sent the ball directly across the hall... And completely missed her target.

Well, no one was perfect. Still, the ball drifted just far enough off to the side that it passed through a different set of bars and stopped with a ruffled thump inside Aoime's cell. "Eat up, Blue." Mariko told her, turning her back on the other woman and investigating the back of her cell once more. It might just have been a crumbled, slightly blood-stained ball of paper with a meaty core, but it was literally the least she can do, and even that was an effort she didn't want to care for again anytime soon.

Yaksha raised an eyebrow as he stared down at Nat's hysterical cries. The look on his face was between concern and bemusement, as he slowly shook his head. "Nat, you really have to learn how to control yourself. It's not that grand of a joke that you have to lose your composure so easily." Elizza chuckled, wrapping her arms around Nat from behind and pulling him close; the swell of her breasts pressing against his back probably would've been a completely foreign feeling to the young boy, if not an unwanted one. "Ahhh, Yaksha, he's only 16. Not everyone was as businesslike and serious as you before they'd had a girlfriend!" She giggled softly, staring down at Nat with a devilish grin. "You're fine, Nat. Just try to remember that this isn't playtime."

Her arms pulled away quickly, and she scrambled after Yaksha, who was already climbing the makeshift bridge that Dressel had formed. The tall pirate stared down at it ruminatively, his fingers and legs digging into the holds quickly, while he seemed deep in thought. Glass? Quite the odd power...I'll have to see what else our friend can do for us, if we're going to be taking on the marines so quickly.... He smirked slightly, as he pulled himself onto the ship. There was a thin sheen of sweat on his brow from the climb, but he didn't even seem out of breath. "My, I forgot how little time I spend exercising. I really need to work out a bit..."

His hands laced together as he stood stationary on the ship's surface. While Elizza and Nat crawled up the docking bridge, his eyes flitted from side to side, taking in every detail. He spotted each member of the crew, drinking in everything he saw in case it became useful later. Finally, after a moment or two, he spoke in a slow, measured voice. "So, Dressel, tell me...how long has it been since the last transport ship came? And if twelve of your men have been taken by the marines, what have you planned for them? You must understand, I simply can't take action until I understand what the score is..."
================
The supply room of the marine outpost was quite cramped, with the various crates of reserves that filled the room. The two fledgling marines had been sent by their superior to investigate sounds of rattling and what could've passed for muffled voices. Each of them was dressed in the normal marine garb, but in the sparsely lit room, they looked more like faceless shadows than marines. Their voices drifted easily to each other from across the distance of the room, as they began to root through the room.

"Fuckin' skinflint Lieutenant can't even give us a few torches to scope the place. How are we supposed to find each other, let alone whatever's making the noise?

"Calm down, man. It's going to be sundown soon, and I want to be out of here by then. Torches or not, this place is straight creepy at night. We can go see about a lamp if you want, or we can do the job given to us and avoid the rage of the Lieutenant Commander for leaving an assigned mission."

"But why do WE get assigned all the lame missions? I want to catch a pirate! I want to get my name known across the world!"

"Only thing you'll be known for is being the first marine to die from friendly fire."

The young marine opened his mouth to reply, before letting out a cry and flinging his hands towards his nose. "Jeesus! That SMELL! I think something died in here, cuz it smells ripe!" He moved quickly through the darkness, cursing several times as he bumped against the wooden crates and their edges. Finally, he ended up next to a smaller crate, that seemed almost to be sweating meat from the smell. "Someone must've forgot to put the meat in the iceroom...hey, Jannet, get over here!

"Told you that's not my name, dammit! It's Janrei Merro, not Jannet!"

The sound of a man running very quickly in the dark, surrounded by sharp, solid objects is something most normal people would pay to hear, and most sailors could've learned more than a few new words from. By the time Janrei had reached the other marine, whose laughter was now filling the room, he was sore all over. "Shut up and let's open this thing...we can at least check if any of the meat can be salvaged."

The marines both grabbed an edge of the crate, pulling it quickly and harshly. The wood splintered, and the scent of meat grew even stronger; both men had to stumble back from the almost solid wall of smell, holding their noses, before one of them spoke in a nasal tone. "'oy! Goo da mu-" The two men stepped closer, crouching down for a better look of the young woman inside.

Mildra's whole world had been rocking back and forth in near total darkness for as far back as she could bother to remember, through be told she could hardly even remember how she got into this mess, her seeming to have a short attention span. Pojo had a far keener memory and when she questioned her about how they got here Pojo thought it'd be best to change the topic fast or make something up seeing as it'd be easier that recalling the rather long tale of how they got there. To say the crate stunk was a severe understatement. Numerous open packages of raw meat many of which having been exposed to the open air for extended periods of time not to mention the smell of accumulated biological waste, which thankfully Pojo had instructed to do in the corner of her small world, produced a scent which should be just about strong enough to knock out an individual of low constitution. Of course the fact that Mildra had probably never bathed once in her live didn't help much either. This however never seemed to bother her as her people were used to living in a constant state of messiness.

"Ahhh Pojo we stopped moving, do you think the end of the world is over?" Mildra asked her fowl companion. Mildra being confined in such a small dark area assumed this meant the the world was destroyed or something like that though Pojo was quick to tell her otherwise it seems the thought still clung to Mildra. Suddenly 2 voices could be heard nearby and Mildra tightly gripped the bird in fear thinking they were monsters or something like that coming to eat poor Mildra and her chicken. all at once the top of the box was pried open and thrown to the side sending in a bit more light than what she had before. Mildra's eyes being quite used to the dark by now could see fairly well. There were 2 people near her wearing the same unusual white and blue coverings. Mildra cowered in the corner of the box tightly hugging her chicken afraid these flat chested girls were monsters trying to get her. She held her club in one hand and pointed it towards them her arm and the club shaking and quivering in a rather nonthreatening manner.

"S-s-s-stay back! M-m-mildra is a fierce warrior and she has a chicken and shes not afraid to use it!" She stammered Raising Pojo above her head threateningly. Obviously the sight of a real life chicken would terrify these most likely hostile individuals, the full grown chickens of her homeland being strong enough to take down even the "protectors" of her people. Pojo gave a few threatening clucks flapping her wings angrily. The bird had been living in the same conditions as Mildra and while it was true that Pojo was far more calm and collected than her dim witted companion even her level head was under some heavy stress from the situation. She was looking like quite a mess, more so than usual. It looked like there was a thin film of grease and grime covering her skin and hair from all the raw meat she had been handling and exposed to, and it didn't look like she had been cleaned, well ever. The fact that she was cowering in fear in a sealed box with sanitary conditions which would be considered usually nothing less than fatal should brought up more questions such as who is she, how did she get there and most importantly how did she survive on nothing but raw meat and water alone for so long inside a small box. If nothing else the fact that she was alive was a testament of her stamina and survivability. It didn't seem like she was hostile or a threat, mostly just dirty and scared. it didn't take her long to lower her club and drop the "tough" routine. these were the first people she had seen in a good long time and even if they were hostile she would really rather not have to kill them.

"U-um p-please don't eat Mildra..." She cried meakly her teeth practically chattering, it seems that for the moment her mission to find a master would have to wait. Certainly bodily functions would have to be released and some much needed stretching and fresh air were necessary to the poor cooped up girl to get her head back into working order, for now it seemed like she was pretty gentle.

Everything seemed to have gained a red tint for a moment, a very strange feeling had taken hold of the boy. His face lit up completely and he had nothing he could do or say, not anything that wouldn't make things even more awkward. His body went limp and everything in his mind seemed to have melted out his ear. It was obviously showing, as much as any guy likes women, he was young and didn't speak to them to often. This made him feel a little awkward in close quarters and right now it was televised as his face melted into a dim witted smile.

"I...i...i feel...i fee- Ah!"

Nat exclaimed as he leapt backwards out of the woman's grasp at the sight of the liquid forming between the ships. The boy stood on his right leg, his left arched up and arms covering his face as if he expected to get hit by something. When someone reveled their devil fruit it was usually something that had some big effect, or something offensive like most fruits he's seen. He was glad to know he wasn't the only one who had a pretty useless seeming Devil Fruit, though the ability to switch a liquid to solid, could be more useful then carpet.

In this situation Nat was still cautious He stepped closer slowly as he approached the new glass bridge between the ships. It was within distance, he just had to walk across, just get, across, no big deal, though he was slightly afraid of walking over invisible surfaces over the open sea. Something he developed during his life using a devil fruit so often with little to no restraint what so ever. His left foot was ahead, his body moving sideways as he bounced his foot off the material once or twice, making sure it was okay. He was still a little scared and he wasn't to sure how to go about this and so, with nothing but instincts guiding him, he dropped his left foot on it for a few seconds, a thick layer of carpet growing over it, white in color.

"This, This will work."

He noted as he slowly walked across the bridge it wasn't until he got to the center that he remembered he was missing something. Turning back he realized he had left his hammer behind, and he didn't do much but stare at it for a second. He was forgetting something else, his head turning to the shore and the town, the girl walking not to far ahead of the ship. She turned a corner as he looked back and forth between the two and bounced on his toes once or twice. He extended his legs out and stretched over each side as he looked ahead to the direction the woman headed.

"Tch, Yaksha, would you mind carrying my hammer? Kay, Thanks, Bye!"

He said with a smile, turning back and waving as he ran forward to the other ship, the people on board were like obstacles. With a mere flip he made it over them, looking ahead, grabbed onto one of the ropes connecting to the sail, flipping off it onto the deck. He ran across as fast as his feet could carry him, he wasn't too quick, but he was fast enough to get to and fro with relative ease. The Deck was pretty fun to move across, the barrels were easily jumped over, stringed with flips and rolls, and he was just warming up. The edge of the ship neared, and as he got to the tip, his feet barely kissed the edge, together they stood and flipped him through the air. He flipped like he was a lower case T, his arms pointing straight out as he continued the motion, landing lightly and easily on his feet, bending his knees to soften the landing. Almost 2 seconds passed, and again, the boy took off seeming to have an infinite source of energy.
