Yaksha was stunned by how quickly the giant had caught onto this change of venue; no normal person should've been combat ready that quickly after such a surprise. The fist slamming against his ribs caused a puff of breath to escape his mouth as he was catapulted into a wall, his body sliding down quickly, and his hands and knees touching the ground as the shock of the attack wore off. Finally, he glanced upward, his head beginning to swim, and his mouth working furiously to suck in a new breath before he lost consciousness. Finally, his lungs worked, and he sucked in a lungful of air that almost burned going down. "Whatever they're paying you, they need to double it..." His hands slipped to his ribs, and he winced slightly from the blow, but he didn't let that stop him; he slipped a hand into his pocket, clutching at a small, clear green vial. As he pulled it free, the spindly fingers of one hand opening it quickly, he brandished his blade. "Nat, give me a second if you please. I'll be right with you..." The contents were poured over his blade, and he slowly slipped a finger into his mouth; as his tongue began to numb, his face lit up into a rictus; he pulled himself to his feet, slipping forward slowly and carefully; in the chaos of the crowded room, with the fight in full force, it would've been nearly impossible to see him almost gliding through the combatants, his blade at his side, ready to strike the first marine that he drew close to. Mildra was continuing her charge towards the large misshapen girl that master had also targeted. Not being the brightest bulb in the draw she was mostly unaware of the incoming low tackle aimed at her legs. However what she did notice was that master was struck by the larger girl and flung backwards. While Mildra's orders to attack were still withstanding Masters peril overruled her rationality to follow through with her attack. She plant her clubs head into the ground in front of her to stop her momentum, unintentionally planting it in the path of the other Marines low tackle. Turning around she rushed back towards masters side picking up her club and fling it up backwards again unintentionally towards the other Marines head as she rushed over towards masters side. Getting next to him she stood in front of master club at the ready to create a wall between him and their adversary's. "Don'y worry master Mildra will protect you!" She cried out as she prepared to defend master at all costs. Pojo also ready to fight balanced on one leg on Mildra's head and struck a kung Fu like crane stance which looked odd yet slightly intimidating giving a few angry clucks in response. Pojo didn't fully trust this girl who Mildra had decided to dedicate her life to however Mildra was her best friend and companion so she trusted her completely. |

Nat twitched for a second as he watched the sudden flourish of violence come about in the cell block, making the jail break rather apparent. Yaksha was knocked against a wall, thrusted quickly by the arm of the speedy mass of flesh that struck fear even into his heart. The man though didn't seem to exactly be focused on him at the moment, it made for an excellent opportunity to remove the pesky guard that stood in his way. Nat's carpet shrouded eyes caught onto the guard before him, his wimpy frame brining a smile to his face. Though he had no fighting training, he had a feeling he'd be able to pick him off, unless his small size was nothing but a lie, hiding his true abilities. Regardless, he was willing to take that chance. He rushed forward, knowing how to shift his weight through his constant performing, he approached the man with a strange smile. As he neared, his carpeted hands seemed to grip, the hammer tightly, the handle fitting perfectly in his hand as he spun around diagonally once. All the momentum he gathered caused the air to whip around in a full circle along with the hammer, creating a swiping noise as it went around. As it came back the second time it was moving faster than before, now that it was warmed up, he brought it about once more, aiming to strike the man in the stomach, all the while yelling, "Kitty Clobber!" Within the wall of sound, destruction and obvious chicken clucking was the single sleeping girl, resting her back along the wall as the Yaksha hit it and fell. Her eyes opened to see the man pulling out a blade and pouring the contents of a vial onto it. Her eyes opened wide and the only thing that really caused her to snap back was the man charging for the sweaty girl. Although she didn't smell womanly, she was clearly female, Amelia didn't like when guys attacked girls, especially ones of his size. Her bow rose up to her chest, an arrow slipping from the quiver and holding itself on the string as she aimed for the man's head. Within seconds the arrow was let loose, flying right for the man's skull. |

-[Jail Block]- Rib smiled and put the gun back inside his coat, satisfied with the girl's choice of submission. The cursed fruit user was behaving herself, too. All at once a feeling like a thousand knives dancing, tips to the back of his neck, took him. He knew something was wrong. "Doc," Rib stated cooly, snatching the pistol from his subordinate's belt and training it on Mariko, "enough." The doctor turned to look at him in confusion. Rib cursed and nodded to one of the attending bucketheads, who stepped in and yanked him from the cell before his obvious ineptitude got him killed. Slamming the door behind him, Rib pointed to the lock. The bucket head, some what in tune with what his commander was thinking by now, locked the cell. As soon as he had done so the lieutenant snatched his keys, along with the doctor's. All the keys to the prison were now secured on Rib's person. "Doc, get out of here." The doctor stared in his confused, pathetic silence for a moment before turning down the hall. "Not just the cell block," Rib continued. The doctor turned around, looking even more hopelessly confused. "Get out of this base." Once more, the doctor stared. "Get the fuck outta here now!" Rib shouted. The doctor quickly precipitated motion towards the end of the hall. Rib listened to the dull noise of battle out in the hallway, the commotion he had sensed was about to start even before it had. He regarded the two prisoners. If Jakub fell, there'd be nobody left in the base besides possibly Greg who he could rely on. Something in his gut told him that this was a losing fight. Once more he leveled his own pistol at Mariko. A bead of sweat ran down his forehead, from beneath his cap. No matter what happened here, there'd be hell to pay. If these two prisoners turned up dead, it'd be much better than if they escaped. Killing without an order stunk, worse than the burnt shit smell of this prison block. All the same, how many would die if these two escaped...? "You understand, right? This is justice. My last gift to you; I'll make it clean." He waited a moment, his mind already shut to her response, though he gave her time to make it. He squeezed the trigger, hitting Mariko soundly between the eyes. Stepping stoicly to the next cell, Rib aimed his weapon for Aoime. He showed a smile, his eyes seemed to say 'at least it's not your own gun, right?' and pulled the trigger. She, too, had been given the mercy of an execution that was swift and painless. Reaching into his coat, he took out the two confiscated pistols and threw them into Aoime's cell. Executing helpless prisoners was one thing, but grave-robbing was another. Gritting his teeth against all this ugly business, enough time having been wasted already, he rushed down the corridor. -[In The Hall]- Jakub had, fortunately for the pirate whom he had just struck, already turned his site towards the cat. He didn't even notice the dirty girl; his mind had dismissed her the moment it had registered her. When the fuzzy thing began it's swing, the massive doorman moved in for one of his own. Greg, meanwhile, had been denied a clean tackle by an extremely annoying metagame maneuver. Fortunately, he suddenly got stronger to compensate for his opponent's poor sportsmanship, and had the reflexes and dexterity to grab onto the club and swing himself to the floor, sliding on one hand and the balls of his feet to a stop where the woman he had been trying to intercept stood a moment ago. Not missing a beat, making his decision even as he ground to a halt, Greg found himself staring at yet another opponent. The sleeping girl against the far wall had woken and trained an arrow directly on his skull. It made a sharp hissing noise as it blew past his head; if she had aimed for a larger target he'd not have had the time to dodge it. Fortunately, his neck was capable of a full range of motion, even from his compromised position. As the girl with the club wasn't attacking anyone at the moment, Greg decided to focus his attention on his new foe. Already braced to spring, he leapt to his feet and began clearing the room, drawing the standard issue sword at his side. If she had time to knock another arrow he'd be ready for it. Nat's hammer came down clean into the cowering man's stomach, proving that he was as feeble and frightened as he had seemed. Jakub, with his usual clarity of motion, had nailed his target dead on with no chance of missing. Unfortunately, it had been the head of Nat's hammer, between the brute's fist and which was now an equally unfortunate marine. The hammer and fist stopped in unison, the body between the two spitting blood and going limp. In the silence that followed the sickening crunch of the man's ribs, Rib appeared in the doorway. He had the buckethead's pistol trained on the cavegirl, his own on Nat. He fired a warning shot, directly next to the filthy woman and her chicken, in hopes of ending the melee that had begun. It ricocheted off the wall with a distinctly un-metalic twang. A sinking realization hit the prison's head officer; the gun had been loaded with rubber stun-slugs. He'd given two fully functional pistols to a markswoman with ammunition leaking out from her breasts. "Mother fucker," Rib stated dryly. Ducking into the room behind Jakub, Rib made a dash for the far door, his guns at the ready. This was about to become a shit-storm that he no longer wanted any part of. What Happened in the Jail Block?

Yaksha continued to slink between the people, his face contorted in concentration; sweat rolled down his brow from the strain of staying in the blind spots of those around him, but he'd thus far managed to remain unspotted. It seemed things were falling apart completely, both on the marine's and his own crew's part; the third and most insignificant marine had gone down without a fight, and the gargantuan had even contributed to his defeat. He continued to glide towards Jakub, the viscous green liquid dripping off every few seconds. It wasn't long before another marine stepped out, into the fracas that Yaksha had begun; his gaze shifted to Rib quickly, and he slipped into a corner of his peripherals quickly. Perhaps, had he gone for a more direct approach, he could've avoided what came; Rib's warning shot did indeed ricochet, striking him in the neck and bringing a cry of pain and surprise from Yaksha, as he was mere inches from him. His body pitched forward, and his ribs began to scream in protest, before he caught his body. The damage, however, had been done; his stealth was broken. The shout was doubtlessly enough to be heard, and the pain coursing through his head and chest left him unable to focus on those around him. But he could hear a muttered voice, and he felt more than saw the marine dashing for the entrance; his eyes turned icy, and almost murderous, and his voice was a metallic growl as he spoke. He wasn't even trying to fake a voice anymore, simply ready to get these marines done with. "You're not leaving." He turned on his heel, moving full speed towards the fleeing Rib, his blade at his side. =================== Elizza could barely even speak; the air seemed to have been sucked from her lungs, as she saw the guard pointing his gun at the prisoners across from her. She saw his hands trembling, and sensed his hesitation; she lept for her bars, screaming furiously. The veins in her neck and arms stood out as she screamed, her grasp trying furiously to pry the bars in front of her apart. "Are you insane!? One of them is in critical condition, and one of them probably doesn't even have a bounty! Just think about this, Rib! Just put the gun down; I'll make sure that the higher-ups know you did everything you could! I'll make sure they stay in their cells!" Her heart was beating fast enough for her vision to grow hazy, and her arms felt ready to tear from their sockets from the strain of prying the bars. For a single, bleak moment, fury flashed through her; fury at her captain, for bringing things to this point. Fury at the marines, for being so damn stubborn. But more than anything else, Elizza felt furious at herself for being able to stop this man from killing two people, in cold blood. The shot fired, and she screamed; there were no words, only a pure and raw agony of failure. She pushed away from her bars as if they were red hot. As her gaze went down to her hands, she could see them trembling from trying so hard to pry the bars apart. She glanced up, barely even registering what she saw; the bars had been slipped apart a few inches, but there was barely enough room even for her head to fit through. She sat back on her bunk, staring down at her hands, and bunching them into fists. It was several seconds before the tears began to flow, dampening the cot she sat on. Her outfit was quickly becoming soaked with her tears, but she couldn't stop; to stop crying now would've been nothing short of condoning the murder of two innocent people. She finally jerked her hands apart quickly; even with her arms tired, the chains holding them together snapped after a second, and she placed them on her knees. "This is why I got out of the marines! This is what made me lose my faith! How could this be Justice...how could those innocent women done anything wrong..." Her voice was raw, almost heavy with emotion as it came out, and she found herself unable to speak anymore, as she lay her head against the wall. Edited by Yaksha, Jun 13 2010, 08:02 PM.

A smirk. Nothing more was visible on the face of the female marksman as she picked up her body off the wall, the expression hanging loosely on her face. Her hair fell onto her face, the sight on her bow clicking into position as she stood up and looked onto the man and his partners. Up until this point, she didn't realize it, but she was fighting marines, the very people she thought were equivalent to absolute justice turned into complete barbarians right in front of her. Not only that, but they were so easily able to avoid her shot, she would have to wake up and get ready for some real combat. Amelia's feet carried her quickly down the hallway, her feet turning her right back to her opponents as they continued their fighting, the senseless violence seeming more and more frivolous with each passing second. She was fighting for the dirty girl, she wasn't even sure why everyone else was fighting, but up until now, she didn't even realize Nat was in it. Upon seeing the carpeted male, she peered through the sight, noticing the small piece of gum on Nat's ass, she laughed in her head. She needed a few more seconds before she'd get a clear shot, she couldn't shoot while the sight was moving, she needed to stop laughing. Though between laughs she managed to say, "Damn Nat...i can never stay mad at you...you're just too stupid." Nat on the other hand found the blow had been blocked on the other side, his hammer flying backwards. He grunted quietly as he managed to recall the twisted expression on the man's face as he was crushed between the blow. He was unaccustomed to feeling such a thing, hearing such a thing and watching a man in front of his own eyes, he began to feel a little guilty about the matter. His hammer was once a device for pure entertainment, but now it became something much more, at least since he met Yaksha. His parents never would have stood for him doing this, but his parents weren't here, they would never have to know. "What the hell was that!?" The carpeted teen cried out, his voice breaking the silence for a mere second before a shot rang out. Normally his head would have turned to the gunfire, but he felt he'd die if he looked away, there was an intense amount of focus between him and the man as he glared across to the man's eyes. Time felt like it had slowed, the man's body slowly turning into a puddle as he hit the floor, a lifeless form of what he use to be. Nat's eyes did not just glare daggers, he seemed to be shooting the man twice for every second that passed. "You're a monster...Burn in Hell." He concluded as his hammer began it's first rotation once again, nearing the ground closer than the last time, a trail of dust following behind the hammer as it reached the air and fell back again. He extended his body with each motion, allowing the hammer more space and more time to gain momentum as it went around once, the dust seeming to be a full moon in the air as it fell onto his carpeted outer layer. As beautiful as the motion appeared to be in his current slow moving sight, it was a very angry and powerful motion as he once again brought it up for the man's belly. With Nat's Terrible timing, his attack went for the man by the time Amelia made her shot, the arrow ripping the carpet from the left side of his body as it skinned him, causing his attack to arc less, removing it's uppercut like strength as his body tilted and the arrow flew on it's path for the man's stomach. "Damn It Nat!" She cried as she quickly pulled another arrow from her quiver, taking aim for the man's chest. Chances were the shot wouldn't hit if he managed to evade the first, but maybe he'd get hit by one, each coming from a different side of Nat. One past his side on his left and the other his right for his chest. The look on her face expressed the fact she lacked confidence in her shots, mostly due to Nat, but she still had his back, she had no choice, they were friends since they were kids, he'd do the same. |

Aoime rubbed her head a bit and cringed. There was a slight trickle of blood from the impact of the bullet against the thin skin of her forehead. Her head throbbed like a chicken beaten to death. She would normally just try to ease the pain in her aching head...not today...not now. She stood up the two pistols in her hands. She slowly pulled out 8 rounds and began loading the right pistol, one bullet at a time. "It's time." She loaded the other one slowly, taking her time. Aoime pulled the lever back on it and took aim, slowly pulling the trigger to the bullet blew out...and so did the lock. She took the other gun and shot off the lock on Mariko's cell. "You want out...or would you prefer to stay in there and rot?" She didn't even need a response as she shot the lock on the cuffs a couple of times before it too succumbed to the bullets damage. Aoime quickly reloaded her guns and grinned evilly. "Time to clean house, Mariko-san." Edited by Aoime, Jun 14 2010, 12:01 PM.

"You'll regret it." Those were the words that Mariko said to Rib as he dared to fire off a shot at that kind of close range. At the moment, she was still unprepared after having to calm down around the doctor. Still, her body twitched into readiness to move away from the bullet. Had the situation been any different, she just might have made it as well. The bullet lodged right into her head and, it was assumed, should have gone directly into her brain. The blow caused her head to shoot back as she collapsed onto the cold, damp stones of her cell and everything tensed and suddenly relaxed. After a moment in a sinking blackness, Mariko's eyes suddenly shot open again. There was noise continuing down the hall but now Rib was gone. There were too many sensations in her body for it to be death. There was a pain throughout her skull like it had been evenly cracked, but at the same time... She was still alive. Mariko rose from her back almost straight up, like a corpse rising from the beyond. A wicked grin crossed her face as she heard gunfire in front of her, and soon the door of her cell opened up. A couple of shots to her cuffs proved fruitless however, the impure seastone far stronger than conventional rounds. The woman twisted her cuffs but they refused to give way in even the least. "The key..." She said, shooting a glance upwards at Aoime. "We need the damned key." She stated coolly. She walked out of the cell and turned the corner, headed towards the sound of the noise. Stopping, she looked into Elizza's cell. "Her too, Blue." She commented. She continued to step forward, and it soon started to turn into a run as her cold atmosphere fell away to a burning one. "RIB!" She roared, bursting into the hallway. Her eyes instantly took in the gorilla from before. "YOU! You FUCKER!" She roared suddenly, kicking off the ground towards the gorilla's back in a double fisted leaping strike, with her impure seastone shackles leading the front of the assault. |

Mildra stood her ground ready top protect master, but it was odd master seems to have disappeared. Mildra got a confused look on her face and scratched her head for a second resting her clubs head on the ground and leaning on it for a moment. Pojo sensing Mildra's bewilderment gave a few clucks offering her solace and suggestion as to a correct next course of action. "Ahhaaa! Right Pojo! Mildra should continue to follow through with masters last known order!" She declared out loud getting an eureka like expression on her face. Master had told her to go wild, so all she had to do was go nuts all over the place. Mildra managed to catch the other brought girl wake up and train an arrow on an attacking brainless girl she seemed to have missed. She deftly dodged the blow twisting with her neck what was sure to have otherwise been a fatal shot. The strange sorcerer had managed to deal a finishing blow to one of the weaker blue and white brainless girls in the battle. Clearly Mildra was going to have to get serious here. Reaching behind her she untied the knots holding her animal skins on letting them fall to the ground revealing her muscular naked form. Now that she didn't have those clothes hindering her body she could fight to her fullest and move a bit faster. "Take That!" She cried out narrowing her eyes at the man that the arrow shooting girl was aiming for. She wound her club back behind her and swung it downward scraping it off the floor and sending bits of tile and and floor towards him as well. Spoiler: click to toggle |

Jakub roared wildly; killing, even an ally, had worked up his bloodthirst. He turned to the nearest target, the fuzzy thing with hammer. It was spinning around like a fairy from a fairytale. The long-armed brute would have taken time to laugh, normally. Normally, he wasn't in the midst of a bloodthirst. Wordlessly, avoiding any dialogue in his annoyingly inconsistent and thus far three-times changed accent, the monster reared back one of his arms and swung it out and in, a massive, powerful hook directly towards Nat's chest. The momentum that was carrying his hammer up towards Jakub's stomach would make evasion impossible; the two would each hit their marks dead on. Then, Nat twitched. His possition changed, his upward momentum slowed. Jakub's blow went wide, catching Nat in his very fortunately carpeted ribs with the impact of a small motor vehicle crashing into him. The blow, coming sideways, knocked the wall-to-wall pirate across the floor. His hammer had been an inch shy of Jakub's rib's when he began his flight. Jakub was about to turn his bloodlust to the dirty human, who was now shockingly naked. Jakub's arms dropped to his side and a vacant look took his face. The naked girl hadn't phased him in the least, but a dawning realization that he had an arrow in his stomach did. His eyes fixed on the girl, some ways down the hallway, and a murderous, low growl escaped his lips. He went to take a step forward, instead falling to a double-fisted slam from behind. As the doorman hit the floor, the arrow imbedded in his stomach popped up to greet the world once more through his back, covered in all manner of awful viscera. Jakub twitched once, twice, his fists softly autohitting the floor in his death throes, and then was no more. Greg hadn't been sure about what was going on. Commander Rib had fired off a couple rounds and then lost his cool. It was never a good thing when Rib lost his cool. The girl was charging towards him, a wall of sparks and shrapnel advancing before her, close now. He could feel the heat from the sparks as he made his decision; if Rib was going, so was he. He had already been chasing the arrow-girl. As she had run towards the hallway, that too was his destination, as it was Rib's as well. Already mostly in the right direction, already in a dead charge, it took very little adjustment to fall in line with his commanding officer. And that phony who had been playing the librarian earlier, who was chasing Rib. "Useless damn pirate," Greg snarled. All the same, that useless damn pirate was faster than he was. He knew, however, that Rib would handle his own pursuit, and wisely adjusted himself to run a bit behind and to the side of the faker. Rib turned, spinning on one heel gracefully and resuming his run backwards. He had slowed down significantly in doing so, giving the pirate time to bridge their gap a bit. He did, however, now have two guns pointed at not much further than point blank at his foe. He fired both, aiming towards the outside of his chest at the center of his body. Straight, up, down, left, right...if the guy did anything short of fall on his ass then and there, he'd be taking something. Spinning around without waiting to see what came of his actions, he found himself in the hallway, headed directly towards a girl with a bow and arrow aimed directly at him; he'd never know the shot had been prepared for Jakub. He also saw a wall of marines from the base, long delayed in their arrival, rushing up from behind the girl. Reflexively, Rib threw himself to the ground in a forward roll, along the corner of the wall, making himself as small and mobile a target as possible. At the same time, he shouted a single word: "Fire!" Whether that was an invitation for the girl to try to take his life or some sort of in-joke curse-word the man was fond of using was unclear. At least until she heard a half-dozen gun reports coming from directly behind her, the sound of many boots against stone growing closer, distinguishing itself from the sounds of battle in the room before her and the alarms that had just started blaring throughout the base a handful of moments ago. Whether or not the bullets hit, the marines continued their rush forward. Rib cursed himself, because he had another difficult decision; the base was lost, and he should be ordering these men to evacuate. However, letting them advance gave him a perfect cover to make his escape. Torn, he wasted precious micro-seconds in deciding. His chosen order was a compromise. "Advance, but only hold the doorway! Prepare to fall back on my word!" Only inches infront of the doorway was a small metal loop on the ground, a few keys hanging from it. In the chaos of the room, over the sound of the alarm, over the sound of rushing marine boots and grinding stone and curses and growls and battlecries and orders, nobody had heard the delicate chiming of the metal band as it hit the floor. Loosed from Rib's back pocket during his panicked dive for cover, it lay abandoned, shining dully in the mad dance of shadows created by a room full of wildly moving bodies beneath pale, flickering fluorescent lights.

Yaksha didn't fall on his ass, but he did lean his body back as far as it could go; with his innate flexibility, this was quite far. His momentum made it hard for him to fully avoid the bullets, but by bending his body far enough, the shots grazed over his chest without landing solid blows. Rather than two sore, bullet-sized bruises, he now had two thin abraded lines across his chest where they'd struck. Still, the impact had the intended effect, as his body couldn't keep its pace. He fell back as his legs couldn't support him any longer. Dazed, he felt as much as heard the gunshots from around him. Finally, the wretched marines had found out about the trick, and were getting organized. He cursed to himself; he'd known from the start that giving the marines time to properly organize would be the end of him. Whether there were a dozen marines or a hundred, if they didn't have time to put their training into action, then he could pick them off with ease. But now, there were at least ten marines, all with firearms. They'd need a real miracle to survive now. Something had gone right, through the chaos, though. Elizza was quick behind the two other prisoners, the tears on her face dried, and a look of determined fury set on her face. She scanned the room quickly; the ham-fisted guard was down, and the others were all retreating. The pirates were scattered themselves, occupying every corner of the room. Yaksha was finally shaking off the confusion, scrambling to his feet and sprinting for Elizza at full speed. "Marines! Guns! Find some cover!" Elizza took only a second to determine her action; her hands slipped beneath the still-warm body of Jakub, lifting him with a grunt of frustration, and bracing herself behind him. "We need backup. There are at least a dozen pirates in those cells. Even if they're not that tough, we can still use them." "Keys. That damn guard has the keys." Elizza was quickly rummaging through the pockets of the hulking bounty hunter, before Yaksha groaned. "The OTHER guard. The one that turned tail and ran. Unless you can cut through the cell bars, we'll have a hard time getting any more help." "Then I guess our first option is to break the distance. Get behind me." Elizza began her slow march forward, Jakub braced before her to absorb any of the bullets shot by the marines. Yaksha stood just behind her, motioning towards the second, pulped marine. "If anyone else needs a shield, that'll help. Once they get in here, they're going to spread out." |

Mildra's attack seemed to ork, at least in scaring off the brainless girl she had targeted. But with everything happening at one she was a bit confused now. She stood still in the midst of the battle pondering what to do next. She had been ina few scuffles in her home before but nothing as elaborate or complicated as this. She wasn't very smart to begin with so adding that to her natural confusion in the midst of bettle and she was in a bit of a stupor. "Ahhhh ahhhh what to do, so confusing. Hmmm what would master say..." Mildra pondered leaning on her club for support an to rest a bit. In her mind she could imagine master speaking to her, at least as she imagined hew would speak to her. "Mildra, you must follow me now, trust your instincts and you will know where to go. Also your a very good girl Mildra." He'd say to her, she nodded and smiled at being called a good girl. While she couldn't tell exactly where master was she was sure she could smell his general direction. The strange beast they were inside had very narrow paths so all she had to do was pick the right direction and follow it. Mostly oblivious to the chaos around her she stooped low to the ground and sniffed the floor a few times. While it was faint she thought she smelled masters scent in the direction everyone seemed to be heading. Grabbing her discarded coverings off the floor she stuffed them into her carried sack of meat and trotted off slinging her club on her shoulder. She was a bit lagging behind everyone not being the fastest in the world but she managed to see master up ahead heading towards a bunch of brainless girls with sticks standing in a small opening, shortly behind master was the girl who had dodged her attack from before skulking behind master and yet another brainless girl she seemed to have missed before. Gasp, was she trying to attack master from behind? That fiend! Mildra let out a hearty cry and sprinted after her, as fast as she could move anyway which wasn't very fast compared to her most likely. "Waaaagh! Hey you! You leave master alone!" She shouted charging down the hallway and dragging her club behind her sending a showering trail of sparks behind her as it ground against the tiled floor of the base. Pojo made a few menacing clucks and dug her talons into large clumps of Mildra's hair to stay put on top of her head. If Mildra got distracted or anything like that the ever watchful eye of Pojo would be sure to alert her of any incoming danger she should worry about. {OOC: ok so I think I got this straight. We're all in a hallway right now, Rib is advancing towards an opening being held by the marines with rifles. Yakasha and Eliza are chasing rib, Greg is chasing Yakasha, and now Mildra is chasing Greg. I think thats how everything is set up, at least I hope so.} {Edit: Yakasha explained the layout to me so I made a minor edit to my post} Edited by geomease, Jun 30 2010, 04:42 AM.

Nat's eyes widened for a second, time seemed to slow down as the hit collided with his ribs and took him off his feet. His hammer clearly missing it's target by mere inches, but his arms at the same time relaxing completely as the hit momentarily made him lose all focus. The carpet had protected him, saved his life and caused him to take less damage than he had expected. The only real damage he took was the push against the wall, but for the next few days, his ribs were going to hurt like hell. The man seemed incredibly hard to defeat, he was strong as all hell and was fast enough to counter the heavy swing of his hammer, even after gaining all that momentum. The impact from the hit was rather loud and in fact, made a crack visible in the wall, small as it may be. His body was durable luckily for him, and the carpet helped more than anything else, blunt damage wasn't pointless against him, it just never did what it was suppose to. The padding from fruit had saved his life on more than one occasion, and if anything is the only reason he survives most of his fights, especially since he lacks formal training in any style of combat. His hammer sat on the floor, out of his reach for the time being, a look crossed his face that showed he absolutely lacked focus. He was clearly out of it for a few seconds until the sound of gunshots rang out nearby, turning to see Yaksha on the ground with minimal damage. He shook it off, his mind now back in the battle as he got up as he slammed his hand on the floor, getting himself onto his feet and moving quickly to his hammer. Just as his hammer entered his grip, something shiny caught his eye, something strangely attractive to him, it was a ring of keys. His fingers crept towards them ever so slowly as he held the ring within his right hand, his hammer within his left. With a lob of the key into the air, Nat's hammer collided with the keys as it came back down, the keys hitting the floor and sliding towards the duo behind the defeated behemoth. All the while, Amelia was left a little struck by the words "fire" escaping the man's mouth, and with almost no hesitation, the girl drew an arrow and lifted her bow, taking up into the air. Her legs opened wide to help her keep her balance and control in the air, open as if she was performing a Cartwheel. With almost a sudden killer intent filling the air around the young female, her bow was pulled back, and as if time had slowed down she Greg in her sights. This man had evaded one of her arrows before and threatened to kill her now, well at least run her down, she wasn't going to give in so easily. She inhaled and held her breath, her sights trained onto the man as she peaked her jump and had a nearly perfect view of the man from the air, she was now above him. With the low ceilings, she had to shoot soon, releasing the stored breath as she shouted just once. "Acro Shot!" The arrow following it's straight path for her opponent at remarkable speeds as her legs swept below her, threatening to break upon hitting the ceiling. Before she knew it she was flipping out of control, landing on her heels and tumbling onto her back in between her first kill and her new target. The bullets that fled the men's rifle and seemed to wildly spray around, Her target becoming lost in the wall of sound and panic that spread through her being. If Nat didn't owe her from that first kill, he wold never have done what he did, rolling in front of the defeated Jakub with his entire being, covering the small girl as his carpet covered skin ejected as much carpet as he possibly could. Making his size look almost completely round as he formed a ball of carpet. "Plump Kitty!" he screamed as the process took place, sheltering the two from the oncoming onslaughts, not from the bullets but from the sight of the marksmen. They could load the carpet with as much ammo as they could, but it would be pointless when they couldn't see the opponent clearly. Nat, he could handle a bullet, it's why he was in the front and covering the teen as she was left in awe and slightly stunned from the maneuver. "Yak i'll distract them with Amelia, and Elizza, i wouldn't want to slow you down...Amelia, i'm your shield, Elizza has that...body, let's do some damage!" Amelia was left slightly stunned by Nat suddenly trying to take command, but couldn't help but smile as he did. He knew as well as everyone in the room that Nat was not in charge, he was just caught up in the heat of the moment. "You grew up Nat..." She uttered as she hid well against the carpeted mass, holding her bow in preparation as she fire from left side of the ball. She fired a single shot aimed for one of the Marines, running over to the other side and firing again at another. Her shots were trained for their chests, right in the center as she tried to hold them back. |

Aoime sighed a bit and began running after Mariko. Once she spotted the marines, she began shooting over Mariko's shoulders to try and hit the marines. Failing that it would at least keep down their heads. The situation seemed to be deteriating rapidly for the marines. Aoime heard other people attacking the marines, and she figured it was either a full prison break/riot or the others finally had made their move. It was going to get violent in here quickly. Still...she merely wanted of all things...to execute Rib with her gun. "Rib...where are you? You can not hide forever." As Aoime finally caught up to Mariko, she just stood near her. Any marine's coming into her view she'd shoot at them. Her .45 rounds, if they would hit, probably would do some nice damage. But as she was mostly firing "from the hip" she just expected to keep their heads' down. Edited by Aoime, Jul 2 2010, 03:11 PM.

Mariko felt a meaty thump as she rammed into Jakub from behind, the large man apparently distracted by other things. She hadn't really paid much attention to the battlefield because she had started, but then again she was seeing some small spots in her vision from getting shot in the head earlier. The gorilla convulsed under her as she pulled herself up onto her knees, a gory arrowhead pointing up out of his back. There was a suddenly heartbeat in Mariko's chest as she felt a small spark of happiness to see the man put down in such an unfortunate way. It was ruined when the noise of people running around and the cocking of Marine rifles caught up with her, and that girl from down the cell block and some guy started chatting over Jakub's corpse. "What the fuck is going on out here?" Mariko growled at the two of them, not really having the time to make anything sink or get into the greater aspect of what really was occurring. Elizza was suddenly lifting the huge prison guard and using it as a meat shield against a barrage of bullets. Mariko rolled out of the way to get out of the line of sight for a minute, a task with was proving difficult with her hands still in the cuffs. Gunfire constantly rained on them as Aoime caught up and started unloading counter attacks onto the soldiers. "I think whoever the hell these guys are, they're after him too. Follow the meat shield." Mariko said, taking some deep breaths and remaining behind cover for the time being. She heard a small jangling and looked as a silver ring of keys swept past Elizza and Yaksha and dropped into the zone of fire around them. Mariko jumped for the ring even as bullets flew past, one of them cutting across her shoulder and adding to her already wide variety of wounds. She could do little more than roll painfully towards the entrance of the cells again, bringing up her hands and finding them disturbingly empty. A quick check around the floor found the keys nearby, the silver stained with blood from Mariko's own hands. She snatched them up and returned to cover from the Marine suppressing fire, looking at the ring of keys and then at her wrists. It took a little bit of twisting, but Mariko didn't have many options for assistance while the firefight was going on, and she finally got the key into the slot of her cuffs. She did what she could, but the damned thing didn't want to move at all. She flipped it out and tried the second key, the whole arrangement looked very similar and she hadn't seen what her own key looked like in the first place. Every time she couldn't get the thing to twist in at all, one or two didn't even fit in properly. Bullets were flying past her at a constant and there was no doubt that the Marines would be here in full force in no time. Finally, one of the keys fit properly and she was able to turn it less than a centimeter before she ran out of space. "Fucking keys!" She growled, grabbing the end of it in her teeth and giving it a twisting yank as hard as she could. The sound of thick stone landing on the floor impacted Mariko deeply, even as the keys dropped to the ground next to her. |
