"Stop with the food talk, you'll eat soon enough..."

It only took him a few seconds off Firo's whereabouts but it proved to be enough to lose sight of his crew mate. Just moments ago, he watched Firo slid down the dune, stopping next to the street sidewalk, where a bunch of people quickly surrounded him, probably due to all the injuries he had. Curiosity always moved people, specially if we were talking about half dead strangers. So, that was it, he just turned his head to Hotaro in order to respond to his annoying complains, the moment later, his companion was gone and the small group was disbanding. Alarmed with the sudden disappearance of one of his friends, he quickly got off the sand dune, forgetting all the injuries for now, and reached out for one of the people who just minutes ago was staring at his missing mate.

"Hey, did you see my--"

To much of his surprise, the man he was now facing wore a pair of dark glasses, despite the lack of sun and on his hand could be seen an expendable cane, signs that this man had lost his vision. Noticing his mistake, he promptly apologized and moved onto the next man he thought to see around Firo only to find that like the early, he too was blind.

"What the..."

How could that be? Could it be possible that all those who surrounded Firo just a few moments ago were all blind? That had to be the unluckiest thing ever but so far, it seemed to be like it. No, no, no, sure it was all just a prank of sorts since none of the others had moved an inch, specially Zash who had been on top of the sand hill with him. Chances were, he never saw him falling from the dune.
He grabbed the next man but this time, he took the glasses and the cane without saying a word and threw them away, clearly pissed with the act, he had enough of it. They had important things to do and for god sake, this was Loguetown, it was a dangerous place to be, specially in their current condition, it wasn't time or the place to play hide and seek. However, once he took the man's glasses off, he son regretted it as it unveiled two empty eye sockets and so, an undoubted proof of his genuine blindness. This was no prank, it was just the most weird thing ever.

"I can't believe it....You must be kidding me..."

Left with nothing, not even a single, tiny clue about his crew member, Tony was now stunned by the surprising turn of events. Until now, all their action so far were based on getting Firo better, meaning they would have to find a doctor to heal him. With this, they would all get some deserved rest, though, he was now gone and apparently, leaving no trace behind. It seemed he just had been teleported to somewhere else, that or some sort of magic. Perhaps a devil fruit? Hmm, maybe the marines where involved and if that was true, they were screwed. Now that he thought better about it, it sure was odd to reach this place so easily and without a single obstacle, now he knew they were just waiting for them, waiting for the right moment to move. And to think they were so close of their goal.

"Damn it!"

With a single punch, he destroyed part of a building's wall to suppress his anger, an action that surprised the ones present and terrified the people inside the little house who now had a hole on their living room.
If this was marines doing, they would certainly strike again on similar situations. Yes, it should be it, they were probably targeting them individually since it would be easier to take them down that way so, by all means, they had to stay together. Best thing to do now was to continue their way and reach the house. Once there, he would think on a way to find Firo.
Dropping the subject for a while, he returned back to the rest of his crew mates still carrying a worried expression, though, determined to not mention a thing about it until they reached Toeto's home. Truth to be told, he wasn't even sure if any of them noticed Firo's mysterious disappearance though, they sure would realize he wasn't around once they moved forth without him. Even though, he would remain silent.

"Let's go, we have to move, fast!"

At first, Hotaro began to slowly shift throughout the sands, as though nothing seemed to be a problem until he began to stand up all the while forgetting the difficulties he had been having before. However, it didn’t take him long to notice that one of the other men he was traveling with seemed to be having some difficulties when it came to speaking. They all simply sat around looking at one another attempting to slowly find whatever it was that was missing for the time being, they were acting as though something was gone and for the life of him Hotaro couldn’t seem to understand what it was. He began to feel more and more confused and slightly upset as time began to pass around him.

Hotaro began to watch as the acting captain Tony began to slightly lose his wit about him. Something that happened roughly twice a day for a guy such as this, yet for some reason he couldn’t help but notice that it seemed slightly serious this time. It was as though he had just lost control over his mental state all together this time and was now slowly attempting to find whatever it was that he had lost. Hell, he was acting as though he had almost lost his best friend…Wait.

Hotaro began to slowly look about the area counting and attempting to understand what it was that he was missing from his overall equations. First, Hotaro began to count the people within the area as he slowly moved through the sands. There was Zash, who had been so busy off doing something or another that Hotaro hadn’t taken much of what the lizard man was doing serious up until now. He could only turn to notice that he was still looking off into nowhere as though lost in thought. “He still seems to be more or less out of it, which is a good sign I guess when dealing with him. “ Hotaro began to think to himself as he began to look over to the female who had all accept basically disappeared.

She had been standing there was though a ghost looking off into the distance at the men who she considered to be tyrants of the sea. The images of each of them must have look so much more massive compared to her tiny and beautiful figure. Hotaro could still remember the quaking of her body as she looked upon the slightly injured and weary image of the pirates. She had kept her distance from them for such an extended period of time that Hotaro had began to feel more and more afraid of moving towards her upon noticing that she didn’t seem to even notice who he was. Yet as he slowly began to shift his attention over towards Firo, Hotaro began to notice something was amiss.

“Crap…” Hotaro began to speak as he slowly began to notice that the man whom he had been carrying over his back began to slowly shift away from over his backed. It all happened so fast that he was unable to even properly to understand everything that was going on. It didn’t take him long to notice that something was missing. He began to wiggle his behind as though slowly trying to fully understand exactly what was missing from his rear end once again. Maybe he had gotten stronger and slowly began to notice that the man wasn’t as heavy as he originally gave him credit for. Or maybe it was because… he wasn’t there?

Within a matter of seconds he managed to lose another person from his back, and now he was so afraid that he felt he might have been the one to catch the blame for having lost Firo he was unable to even properly maintain his form. As he began shifting into his hybrid state Hotaro began to stand up straight all the while looking around the area in a daze and confusion. “Shit…” Hotaro began to speak as he lifted his head up above everything still in a daze and confusion. He was trying his best to find out where the man was whom he had just lost from his back. He was now slightly confused as to exactly what had taken place and was slightly shocked at having lost Firo in his current state.

“Shit! Where did he go?!” Hotaro began to yell as he rushed towards the area before Tony confused attempting to better understand what the hell had happened. “Where is he?! We have to go and look for him!” Hotaro began to speak as he once again lifted his head up attempting to remember if he recalled feeling the rather large weight falling off his behind and somehow getting lost in the area as a whole.

Zash spaced out as he waited for the rest of the crew to move on. However his attention soon returned to his surroundings. As he looked around a few things stuck out.Firo was gone, Anthony was abusing the blind and Hotaro was staring at the Girl who was leading them.Regular enough for the Jigsaws but Zash then realized how much attention all their next actions would bring, Anthony's actions to the blind, punching a wall and Hotaro in his Hybrid form aren't exactly very subtle things so it was up to him to bring them all back into perspective.Leopold cleared his throat and proceeded to bring the crew back to order 'his way'.

Leopold jumped up and brought down both of his fists on his crew-mate's heads."Calm down! We won't be able to find Firo if the Marines are chasing us around y'know..." nothing cools down a panicky Pirate like a mild concussion! He then decided to take another look around as Firo couldn't disappear into thin air with the wounds he had.Hopefully Anthony would be a better leader with a clear, though aching, head. However Zash's own moment of mental clarity was soon broken by a sniff.

Zash whiffed the air and caught a scent, a very familiar scent, not Firo but food.He began to drool slightly as he kept repeating the word "Food" increasing in volume. Not having a good meal in a while his gluttonous mentality began to take over as he started walking over to the alluring scent of edible satisfaction.Although the direction he headed to was the Town Plaza...

"On me, now!"

Ignoring the expected surprise and worry about Firo sudden disappearance, he signaled his mates to follow him as they were just a few meters from the girl's house where they could finally get some rest. Confident that everyone would listen to him, he began to walk in its direction not looking back to see if anyone was following. Dragging his feet through the street, he he moved straight to his goal, the crew needed this as it would help them in both getting their strength back and clear their heads in order to come up with a decent plan. After a while and mostly because of Tony current condition that didn't allow him to move much faster, he finally arrived at the house entrance, quickly reaching out for the key, which was given to him by Toeto, and opened the door, throwing himself to the nearest sofa. It was only at that time he noticed no one had followed, at least so far.

"Damn it...not again..."

Hopefully, they were just right behind him and didn't get lost somewhere in the city. To lose all the crew in a situation like this would be disastrous and so, he decided to get back on his feet and return to the door, where he would scan the area to see if they were near, however, once he tired to do it, he realized his body wasn't responding anymore, he had reached his limit....again. Struggling with his mind, he battled over and over for the control over his muscles, though, in vain. For some reason, which could be only be from the constant beatings he had suffered in the past days, his body wasn't responding anymore, it had just shut down like when he was aboard of that marine battleship while fighting Jeremy. Exhaustion? Probably, however, it was the second time in just a couple of hours, making him wondering if he wasn't pushing himself too hard. Since he left Bausyer, he faced numerous enemies and got injured several times, never having time to rest properly, the only time he was had something like that was at the Fairy Land. Reckless behavior....as expected from a Bausyer fighter, still, he couldn't continue anymore, not like this. On the other side, he couldn't afford to lose his crew, not like this and not in this city.
Once again, he battled with his mind and this time, he was able to move his legs slightly but that was it. Apart from that little movement, he achieved nothing else. Soon, sleepiness began to take over him and yet, he tired to fight. The battle was unbalanced. Like everything else, sleep was something he wasn't having, not in good amounts and so, this was another thing he was needing. That small nap he took while heading to this island gave him some extra energy but now, it had ran out.

"I...have...to.....ge--t.....u-p....Firo....Zash....Hotaro....i--m....comi-----ing..."

Tony's eyes gave in and shut, sending him finally to dream land. This wasn't what he wanted and deep inside him, he was still fighting it but the body was too damaged, it was impossible to continue. The only thing he could do now was to sleep and hope that once he woke up, both crew mates would be right in front of him, either waiting for instructions or with an idea already. That was his desire, at least.

With the pirate captain asleep and laying on his belly over the sofa, the room went silent again, though, it soon came to life when a figure entered it, through the open door left by Tony. The stranger didn't wake him and in fact, tried to not perturb his sleep, stealthy moving around the room and sitting down on the opposite sofa to where the orange haired pirate was, watching him while he rested. His intentions? Unknown but would surely be known soon.

Before he could even acknowledge what was going on, Hotaro’s body began to sweat vigorously as he continued to look about the area frantically. It was as though he had gotten himself lost in the heat of the moment of looking for his friend to the point that he was totally unable to know where he was. The understanding of time and space were things that simply causes for him to lose what very little understanding he had on the situation. The images of his friends and allies around him had been lost in the blur of losing the injured Firo just moments ago. As it stood, he was unable to even think straight as to what he should have been doing, or even where he was.

It wasn’t even until he heard the words of Tony echoing throughout the area did Hotaro began to understand that something didn’t seem right. He slowly began to accept the words being spoken throughout the area attempting to react to them.

"On me, now!"

“Wait…” Hotaro began to slowly attempt to accept the words that were being spoken into the area as if to make sense of them. He began to stop for a moment as though attempting to repeat them, Hotaro began to rethink them time and time again. His overall thought pattern began to slow into a pace which was similar to molasses dripping through a tiny funnel. As though trying to hit the bottom through the tiny opening which would enable its contents to honestly enter into its bottom half.

“On me, now!”

The image of a single mouse running on a simplistic metal wheel attached to the wall began to slowly form in the midst of Hotaro’s mind. As he slowly began to look around the area, the rather large hybrid beast man began to shift his head as though trying to understand what was going on. In his mind he began to notice that the tiny little mouse began to run on the wheel at such a speed that it appeared as though he was gliding on air itself. His feet and front hands began to motion through the metal openings which generated the wheel itself, however it seemed as though for some reason no matter how hard the tiny little animal ran he was unable to get anywhere.

“On me. Now!”

The tiny image of a mouse began to speed up as he ran on his wheel as though trying to obtain some pattern of rhythm through his methods. However, try as he might the tiny little mouse began to slow down as Hotaro began to almost stiffen his neck from trying to look around the area. The mouse continued to run over and over up until it reached a moment in time in which his feet and hands couldn’t keep up with the overall speed of the wheel. In a single flash the mouse tripped over his feet and began to fall into the weight and speed of the wheel enabling it to take him and throw him about the metallic confines of itself. For now, the mouse had lost his footing and the image within Hotaro’s mind died down as he slowly began to look off into the distance slightly lost.

“What’s going on here now?” Hotaro began to speak as he turned around to notice that the image of the acting captain seemed to disappear, and that Hotaro had been standing on the edge of the area in which the beach hit the mainland. As he stood on his feet standing up above everything else, he was now looking around attempting to find out where he had left his other crew mates as he ran ahead looking for Firo. It made him feel as though he had lost his positioning and while he was listening to odd words yelled by Tony, it made him feel as though he was lost in thought. Hotaro began to notice that he was unable to find any of his allies during his little lapse in memory for his extended amount of time.

"You son of fifty courtesans!"

Damn it.Once again, Anthony Van Meer, captain of Jigsaw Pirates was in trouble, a situation that seemed controlled but all of a sudden turned out to be a much complicated, all because he screwed up.

The task was simple, pass through the security and enter the building, climb to the first floor and find the room. He sure find the room but it wasn't the right one and so, instead of entering Megan's private quarters, he got into her mother's room. A big mistake.
At first, all seemed ok. The lights were off and would be turned on in order to not alert the guards. Everything would be done in the darkness and he was fine with it, as long as he did it of course.

he had quietly closed the door before him and, once inside, he quickly began to take his clothes off. in a matter of minutes, he was ready and so, he got into the bed where was supposed to be Megan Saskui, daughter of Marine Captain Jurgen Saskui. All was ok until he began to touch her. At first, everything seemed to go well but then i realized something was wrong there but it was too late, second later, she screamed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, a rapist!"

Soon, guards form all over began to converge to the same spot, that dark little room from where Tony now tried to exit. The one he thought to be Megan was in fact Gertrude Saskui, wife to Captain Saskui. She had moved from the bed and turned the lights on, finally catching a glimpse of her assailant. On the other hand, Tony stood naked near the window, trying, in vain, to open it and make his escape. Somehow, he wasn't being able to get the window lock right which allowed old Gertrude to make her move. Grabbing a lamp, she approached the pirate from behind and swiftly applied an attack with it, hitting the orange man in his head and making him pass out immediately.

His return to consciousness was accompanied by a loud scream from the marine captain. Due to the dizziness, he was really able to understand what he said but sure it was an insult of sorts. Around him were several guards as well as Gertrude and his beloved Megan, who looked apprehensive.
Looking around, he noticed they weren't in the room anymore but rather in a basement or something along those lines and he had been tied down to a chair, naked.

"Could i have my clothes back at least? You won't believe it but this was all a misunderstand. I can explain it, if you let me."

The marine officer, seeing how he dared to talk, approached him and punched him hard in the stomach, making him spit some blood. Oh, he looked pissed, very pissed actually. he had reason to be though, his wife was just attacked, even if by mistake. That punch however, didn't came alone and others soon followed, mainly aimed at his face. After a couple, the man stopped, leaving behind a disfigured and bloodied face. After expelling all his rage, the marine seemed now more calm, and, to his surprise, Tony also looked calm. With some difficulty, he began to speak once again. His face had swelled like hell because of all those attack and that was affecting his voice and the words were coming out weird.

" Ut suums ui cun spuk nuw. Luk i wus suying, ut wus u mustake. I cume hur to bung ur daughtur, nut ur wufe."

Jaw-dropping. it took them some time to realize what he had just said but once they all got it, they all looked like they had been struck by a lighting, all except Megan, who was now blushing. it took them some time to recover from the shock once they did, the marine soon ordered his men to surround Tony and initiate the beating. Damn it...i screwed up again. After that, all went black.

-----------------------------------
"Uuuuhh..."

Tony woke up alarmed, with sweat covering all his face and body, his clothes soaked. It had been a hell of a nightmare but that was all, at least it wasn't real. To think he touched that old lady....it gave him goosebumps.
Turning around, he changed his position on the sofa, now laying with his back over it. He was back on the house though, the room was now all dark meaning the lights were off. If he recalled right, it was daylight when he fell asleep so the question was, how much time did he spent sleeping? At least 12 hours, he would guess... One thing was sure, he now felt much better except from some pain on his side, probably coming from his unhealed ribs. He also had some cuts on his arms, marks that he got from Jeremy sabres while aboard The Mole, but hose weren't causing much pain.
Stretching out, he prepared himself to get up and get something to eat, however, during it, he noticed a figure in the room who appeared to be sitting on the other sofa. Not sure how to deal with it, he decided to adopt a more careful approach.

"Who's there?

looking better at the spot, he realized it was just a illusion, a set of shadows that tricked his eyes which make him to chuckle a bit for his silliness. As if someone would enter that house and stayed there while slept. What sick bastard would do that?
After rubbing his eyes with the back of both hands, he finally got up and turned on the lights, bringing some clarity to the room. it was only then that he noticed the front door wasn't closed. How careless.
With that dealt, he moved on to the kitchen to make some of his tasty pie, though, he soon realized some ingredients were missing. Too bad, he would have to eat something else. Searching around the cabinets, he found some crackers and so, he returned to the dinning room with several of them, sitting back at the sofa. It was only then that he noticed something wasn't quite right there. His friends didn't seem to be around.

"Oh..right...i need to search for them..."

Thats right, they didn't follow him back to his house, which was a problem. A very serious problem considering their wanted status and their limitations right now. He had to find them and leave that island as soon as he could, it was too risky to stay around much longer. At least he had this disguise, a rather poor one but still effective since it covered all his face. The clothes were still the same but he was hoping that no one would notice that. people could be dumb sometimes.

"Wait a minute..."

A cracker was now being digested as he looked straight at the sofa in front of him. Something was not right. Yeah, the crackers didn't taste very well, probably because they were there for some time now. How could that girl have no food in the house? What did she eat? In the end, he would have to go to the kitchen once again in search of better things to eat. Those crackers were impossible. Still, something else was bothering him.
Focusing better on the image in front of him, he began to think what was out of place there, enumeration them with his mind.
Wall, check. Random painting on the wall, check. Sofa, check. Ugly rug check. Pair of pillows, check. Old man sleeping, check. White see through bra over the sofa, check. Wait a minute...white bra? Hmmmm.
With a jump, Tony quickly clung to the sofa and assumed a defensive position as he finally noticed what was off there, a stranger was right him front of him, sleeping.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...Who the hell are you?"

The old man snored away contently on the couch. It was comfier than his last sleeping place. His mind was occupied with the a dream no man his age should be having. He sighed and groaned satisfyingly and mumbled something incoherent in his lost consciousness. The commotion stirred him.

"I'm here" The old man said in a deep voice, eyes still closed. He smiled widely, he chuckled and grabbed at the air. Tony's sudden exclamation startled him awake. His right hand fished blindly on the floor for a pair of glasses on the floor. Finding them, he placed them on the bulbous features of his face. His face had the impression of the couch still, and so did his hair, forming a sort of bowl that tilted to the side. The wet spot on the couch coincided with a shiny spot of drool on his cheek. He sat up and with a grunt used all the energy befitting the recently awakened and old to get off the couch. Standing up, the full paunch of his belly brought to bear in Tony's direction. The prodigious belly, built slowly over decades of rich eating, was covered by a thin white jacket. The jacket would of fallen to below his knees, if it wasn't for his girth. Though, the deep pockets, stuffed with all manner of hidden objects, did help in this regard.

The bum would of looked all the part of a doctor performing his rounds, if it weren't for his disheveled appearance. He completely ignored Tony's question and opened with.

"You look almost as bad as I feel." The doctor then proceeded to sneeze loudly, and wiped his nose with his sleeve, adding a new snail trail, among many. He confidently strode up to Tony, fishing for something in his pocket. When he got to where Tony was standing, he pulled out a stethoscope. The odor of alcohol was very much still the primary component of his breath.

"You can talk, I like that, I prefer patients that are conscious. A heart beat is even better." The doctor attempted some doctor's office humor, he liked the way it helped build a rapport with his new patients. With a practiced air he put the ear plugs on and extended the cold metal probe towards Tony. He followed with.

"Now, turn your head and cough." The Doctor's pudgy hands moved to come in contact with the younger man's skin, almost greedily.

With a heavy sigh and a simple turn about him once again, Hotaro began to notice that not only did he mange to forget what it was that he was doing just moments ago, but he also seemed to have gotten himself separated. For someone who prided themselves on their navigational skills and overall prowess when it came to directional skills, now Hotaro had found himself in a new land as lost as ever. He had arrived onto this island with the people who had begun to grow on him as friends, and now he was without them or any of their lack luster humor to act as a support. All he had now was the thick and heavy hair which had been growing atop his body due to the roughness of his current form, and the constant flurry of the winds beating against him as he accepted the fact that he was now lost and alone.

Slowly backing away from his current position and almost falling into a slumping position. Hotaro began to feel as his mind was slowly drifting away into a different position from its current state. All the while his finely managed and thick fingers started to stiffen together back into hooves of sorts. His back started to snap in numerous different positions while causing for him to bend forward. While the tiny little horns which resided on his head started to raise forth and grow thicker and stronger then they had been moments before. Attempting to rethink his steps and determine the location of the last scream he had heard from Tony, Hotaro started to drift through his mind attempting to determine locations and such that weren’t there. He had begun looking for faces that had now been reduced to nothing more than memories plastered into his mind which wasn’t of much help either.

So for now, Hotaro would simply take tiny steps forward attempting to remember exactly what he was going to do, as well as where his allies had been moments before. He ignored the heavy clanking noise which echoed with each and every step that his heavy hoofed feet took, as well as the constant heavy noise that was escaping from his mouth with each and every breathe that he took. He ignored the heavy amount of moisture which had started to form on his noises end, and the thick fur which was now attaching itself onto his neck as though a necklace of sorts. He had his mind set and determined to locate his friends and to find out where he was and what he was doing, however it was as though even though he had selected a mindset goal that his body wasn’t in much of a position to agree with him just yet.

Slowly motioning through the area in a care free stride, with each and every step that the young man took forward to advance, Hotaro began to notice that for some reason the people and the area seemed different. In all of his years of making maps back at home for his uncle, he’d never come in contact with people who had seemed as odd and misplaced as they appeared to be here. True, that he wasn’t accustom to being in such a location or being around people with such extensive looking houses and stores. Yet for some reason it appeared as though they were afraid of him to the point that they gave him heavy glares and rushed away from him as though he was a sick and twisted being. It was something that continued as he walked throughout the streets attempting to think about where he was, and where his allies had gone.

Upon making his way further into the city, Hotaro noticed that there had been a group of people in the area not far from where he had been who didn't seemed bothered or even frighten of him. Taking it as a stroke of good luck, Hotaro simply advanced towards them all the while unknowing that he was still taking on the appearance and form of a Bison. His steps were heavy due to the weight that he had gained, his breathing echoing throughout the area from the dense body which he had transformed into. And all because he was panicking slightly, Hotaro had been unable to remember that whenever his emotions reached a certain level that his body stopped responding to him properly. However, that didn't seem to bother him as much as it bothered those who were around him. So, as Hotaro made his way towards the men in the area he was slightly surprised when he opened his mouth and spoke out towards them. "Heeeeeeeey.... I'm looking for my friiiiiieeeends... have you seen annnnnnnny of them?" He stopped for a second attempting to understand what was wrong with his tone of voice. It was as though his brain was dragging out his words and making them sound as though he was slow in the head.

"Uh?"

Tony watched astonished as the man, correction, filthy bum dragged himself around the room and performed a disgusting show right in front of his eyes. His careless appearance was already unpleasant, though, that man was able bring things even lower after that horrible show that involved viscous mucus and that filthy lab coat. It even gave him goosebumps. He sure wasn't the cleanest guy around but he sure had at least some hygiene. However, the thing that surprised him most was what it came after that. Apparently, he was a doctor of sorts. He must be on drugs....I'm sure he is. How could this bum be a doctor at all? Even after seeing the stethoscope, his doubts remained. Everyone could steal things like that around this days.

"....."

The joke was bad, though, if he recalled it right, the last doctor he visited had a similar humor sense so, maybe he was wrong after all. Bah...who am I kidding? Just because of this little joke? Impossible.
The guy seemed serious as he reached out for the young captain, with his tool pointed at him, ready to auscultate him. Yet, he was reluctant to play around with this stranger. Giving the circumstances, he was more inclined to think that this man was a spy that actually a doctor. How could someone enter a house like this, sleep in a stranger house and now offer help? Besides, he was far from looking like a doctor at all but very close from resembling a normal bum. Still, if this was all true then Tony had just hit the jackpot because a doctor was what he needed most. Maybe it would be ok to play with him a bit, even if he wasn't the real deal and instead just a lazy bum on drugs. It wouldn't hurt, right?

"Fine..."

Finally giving up, he attended to the stranger's request and turned his head to the right, coughing loudly afterwards. At the same time he felt the man's cold and filthy fingers walking around his chest. Goosebumps, again. Such feeling was somewhat making him feel sick, making him want to puck actually, as he tried to wonder where those hands have been and how many days they stayed without being washed or how many diseases would he have after this due to this little contact. To avoid this, he decided to take his mind away from those thoughts and so, he began to talk with the so called doctor, focusing from that moment on, in discovering more about him.

"So, answer me, who are you?"

The doctor's eyes stared fixedly at Tony's chest. He watched the rhythmic lowering and rising of Tony's muscular chest. Without so much as glancing at his face, the doctor placed the warm stethoscope on his chest. The time in his pocket and under his heft, while he had slept, had warmed it up. He closed his eyes and let the fingers of his hand casually brush up against Tony's chest. Receiving a question, he mumbled with his eyes still closed.

"Who am I? I'm a man indebted to you, my dear boy. I intend to pay it back in full. Luckily, you require my services." He looked up at Tony for a second, opening just his left eye. He gave him a mischievous grin.

"Get caught with a few comatose patients, and your wife kicks you out, you lose your license." The medicine man muttered under his breath after introducing himself. He took his hand, which had fully splayed along Tony's chest, away and wrapped the stethoscope around his neck, like a ferret's pelt.

"But, that's neither here nor there. I don't think your lungs are bleeding, but I think you're going to need some medicine. Unfortunately, all my medicine is back at the hospital. If you help me get the medicine, I can finish your treatment." The doctor said, using his authoritative doctor voice, and sounding very much like one. He had finished doing all the doctor stuff he could at the moment. He turned and headed for the door. He looked back for a second to see if Tony was following him. There was a coy manner in his glance.

"...hum"

Even though he didn't receive the answer he wanted, he allowed the treatment to continue, always alerted to any suspicious movement from the newcomer. As the time passed and the man proceeded with his analysis, he began to doubt less and less about the truthfulness of his profession. Tony wasn't any expert in medicine but he sure looked like he knew what he was doing and talking about, besides, he had a strange feeling about that man, something that was making believe in him more as the time passed by. He could be wrong, it could could be a a huge mistake, though, he still felt like this man was speaking the truth.

The more the man talked, the less the pirate understood, however, once the word medicine was brought up, he soon payed more attention to what was being said and quickly offered himself to help out in whatever that was necessary.

"You need medicine? At the hospital, huh? Hum....."

He watched as the doctor moved away from him, stoning at the door like he was inviting him to something. It was obvious that he was expecting him to follow to the hospital, where he would retrieve the lost medicine, something that he too was interested since he needed it to get better, which ultimately would mean he could finally continue with his adventures. There was something bothering, though, as he had no idea what happened to that man. Something about losing the license was mentioned but that was it, nothing specific was told, which made him feel uncomfortable in following the old man. If this was a few weeks earlier, he would hesitate but now, after facing so many difficulties along the way, he was finally taking some time to think before acting.

The main problem was to know what hospital was he talking about and how exactly would they get the medicine form it. A fight in his condition wasn't quite what he wanted but if needed, he would do it. In the end, what he really hoped was that he could do all this pacifically, yet, just like that feeling he had about this guy really being a doctor and somewhat trustworthy, he was now having a feeling that agreeing with that man would cause him some sort of trouble. Hopefully, the mask he was currently using would somewhat protect him.

"Very well, I'll help you. Lead me to that hospital but, in the meantime, i would like to get some information about what we are about to do. Maybe a bit more about how you lost your license or why did sleep in my house?"

Wish You Were Here
It was as Hotaro began to motion closer and closer towards the men who had been held up in the area before him. His eyes began to focus onto the images of the men in the area attempting to understand what it was that they were chuckling about amongst themselves. It was as though they were having a hard time keeping their overall composure together as they began to watch the hairy beast before them speak. At first Hotaro had begun to think that maybe it was something that he had said, or perhaps it was his odd tone of saying things. Yet after several moments he began to hear a few of them speaking to one another. “Sssssh, guys…” They began to speak to one another in a simplistic tone to the point that there wasn’t really as though he was trying to hide his voice. But rather he was trying to keep the world quiet.

“Ok, ok dude… if you want some help. “ The first man had begun to speak as the others around him had begun to chuckle louder and louder simply by looking onto the image of the hairy bison figure that was Hotaro. It was as though they had been unable to control their laughter to the point that Hotaro had begun to think that whatever it was that was making them laugh was in part his own problem and not their own. However, as he began to watch the motion of the man’s finger, Hotaro began to notice that it was clear that to some degree they were capable of assisting him.

“Alright, Alright…” The man began to speak as he lifted his finger towards his lips as though shushing everyone again. Then he slowly began to drag his finger through the area pointing at a singular point in the sky which seemed to stand high above the rest. “If you really want to go and look for your friends, you should ask the guys around there dude…” He spoke only to hear the men in the background slowly start their chuckling at a much higher rate to the point that Hotaro couldn’t help opening his mouth to question them once again. “Aaaareeee ya surrrreee?” His tone seemed to drag on longer and longer while he was in this state, yet for some reason it didn’t to bother him as much as it had done before.

However, with a reassuring grin the guy continued to chuckle once again as the others behind him fell somewhat silent. “Trust me man… that place is totally safe dude…” He spoke with a smile atop his face as Hotaro began to slowly turn away from him walking in the other direction. “Weeeeeell.. if you say so…” He continued to speak as he slowly walked away from the area attempting to motion towards the same general direction where the young man’s finger had pointed. As he walked away the group of young men began to roll with laughter as though insane.

“Dude!” One of the boys began to speak in a loud voice all the while covering up his mouth as though to make sure Hotaro didn’t hear him. “You just sent that hairy dog to the marine base!” He began to scream into the ears of the other guys. Only to notice that the one who sent him off in the general direction was already on his back laughing out loud. “Dude, that was a hairy cow… and it’s not like it’s smart enough to really understand what we were saying anyways… did you hear the way it was talking!?” He began to roll around with a laughter that caused for all the others with him to join in. All the while Hotaro took his lone march off towards the area where he had been told he could help find his friends.

The bell shaped doctor made sure to lick his hand and run it through his hair. He also brushed down his coat a bit. It did little to help his hair from sticking up, or get rid of the wrinkles and stains from his jacket. He then waddled out into the crowded street. He absentmindedly listened to Tony's questions. He rolled his eyes and answered.

"Oh that. You don't have to worry about my license, it's just a piece of paper. And I don't actually remember why I picked your house, I've taken to the drink pretty heavily, since my wife kicked me out. You were a very good host, by the way." He looked at him and got close, and then reached out to give him a side-hug. If he managed to hug him, his hands would move awkwardly about his body.

"Just making sure everything is still there." He grinned and winked at Tony. He reeked of unattractive desperation and loneliness.

"Want to go for drinks after wards?" He flashed him another smile.

"I see..."

Tony was left with basically the same as the man almost avoided the questions. Chances were that it probably wasn't an interesting story. Still, to know whats coming up is always good, preparation could save his life or at least extend it. Anyway, this men looked like a bum and actually was since he had no home or job and now found himself begging...for help. Soft hearted Tony had been driven by his smooth talk and lack of options but was hoping that everything turned out to be worthy.

"Right...right..."

A rather awkward moment awaited him, as his new companion hugged him in a rather weird away. People that passed by, looked at that imagine with repugnance, some women even made sure their children didn't saw that, using their hands to cover the little one's eyes. Most of the people just passed by but some stopped to see what they thought to be a love display, laughing and chatting about it. Tony was also annoyed with that display of affect and of course, there was this thing he could not, ever, understand, the hands. The pirate was without his shirt for a long time now, since the time he got kidnapped actually, and so, he was being touched in all sorts of places around his bare chest and people could see it, thats why most avoided to look at the two because they were assuming something else was happening there. Sick of being viewed as some sort of queer, he moved the man to the side and walked away fast, making sure to show to those around that it was all a huge mistake. Good thing he was masked, they would be able to recognize him later, this would certainly ruin his reputation as a fierce pirate.

"It's ok, it's all here, i assure you. Now let's go."

The pirate moved some steps away from the man but soon had to stop, realizing that he really didn't knew where the hospital was. In fact, he didn't know anything on this town apart from the historical and largely known Execution Platform. Waving to the man, he called him out and gestured him to hurry up. There were more thing he had to attend to after this little side trip. Firo and the others were still on his agenda and to find them around a place like this would certainly be far form being easy.

"Maybe, old man, maybe we'll have a drink later...."

One of the two important details that the doctor had not told Tony, was that he had worked in a Marine Hospital. The signs were evident before they even reached it. Marines were seen more and more often, as they got to closer to the complex. It was safe to assume some of the men with good posture and crew cuts in civilian clothes were also marines. In fact, it wasn't just a hospital, but adjacent barracks with dormitories, with training schools for both officers and ensigns. They passed a small cafe called the Gull's Corner. It literally had no one but marines sitting and sipping their drinks outside, in the small patio provided for patrons.

"Oh, it's been so long that I've been apart from my dearies!" The doctor exclaimed to Tony. He referred of course to all the marines. If Tony stuck around, they would have arrived at the campus. A few marines lounged about on the grass, in front of a sign that said 'LTMH' which in smaller letters below said: Loguetown Marine Hospital. Had to hand it to the Marines to come up with a great name.

"Now, don't worry about all these marines, they know me at the hospital. They'll let a guest come in with me." The doctor reassured Tony about the assumed civilian's presence among the Marines. This was on the subject of the other thing he had forgot to mention, however. He wasn't technically allowed on the grounds anymore.
