Wish You Were Here
As the winds finally began to die down, Hotaro began to feel his arms slowly weakening as he gave up any chance of carrying onward. His stamina had long since left he, while the motion of the waters had carried those most of the way, Hotaro still had a hard time rowing roughly one fifth of the time. It was as though they had transformed into loose and wet noodles, while the other men inside of the rowboat began to feel as though it was finally reaching its limitations as Hotaro began to think a single thought to him.

As the pure blue waters began to feel as though they were reaching out from the island that they could see had begun to force itself against them. Hotaro himself could only guess what the island was, all the while he attempted to get the single thought that was resting in the corner of his mind. It was as though with each and every rotation of his shoulders to pull the boat closer and closer to the island which they could finally see, Hotaro’s mind had attached itself onto a single thought. A thought which had long since become a solid belief which could have only been born after spending god only knew how much time in a tiny rowboat with this random bunch of people.

Quote:

I swear, I’m hoping that one of these crazy guys crocks over so that I can honestly and truly eat them. I mean normally I’m a very happy guy to be around, but this time I swear to god I hope like hell that one of them kicks the bucket so that I can eat. I haven’t eaten anything in what feels like months, and listening to these random idiots carry on with random psycho rambling is making this roughly six times worse. It’s like banging my head against a brick wall, but then the brick wall reaches out and starts insulting me as I run my head against it each and every time. I swear next time that one of these idiots get’s my name wrong I’m going to try to eat them, I don’t care if I get booted off the boat or anything I seriously have no intention of sitting around here listening to them talk about random things while I’m starving.

Hotaro’s lazy eyes began to reflect his hidden desires as he looked onto the figure of Zash, the man who he assumed was obviously some random lizard thing. It was obvious that he was a lizard which would more than likely taste something like fried chicken once eaten and cooked properly. He was a rather happy go lucky man, yet for some reason Hotaro’s eyes could not see the warmth and happiness in the man’s figure. All Hotaro could see was that all his time while being in the ship with the man was that he was unable to properly understand why someone who looked so much more stronger then Hotaro himself continued to allow the young man to row whenever they voted on whose job it was to work.

As the waters began to churn harder and harder Hotaro’s eyes fell over to the man known as Firo. Obviously the calmest of the crew, yet from what Hotaro could tell he didn’t like to speak much. It was unknown if that was due to the beating he had taken some time ago, or if it was simply his way of doing things. It was obvious that even though he was still not at one hundred percent, that he was still very much capable of killing or beating Hotaro with ease. However, Hotaro began to think that he would taste as though he was a plain and well balanced salad. In truth there was nothing worth noticing to be honest.

And then came the last man in the rowboat aside from himself. The man who called himself Tony, the man who managed to almost get him killed on numerous occasions, as well as constantly causing for his name to come across as nothing. It was as though looking at his very image made Hotaro simply want to eat the pumpkin headed man limb from limb, in hopes that his body would taste as though it was sweeten and finely ground up into brown sugar bits inside of a pie itself. As if his hair was some fashionable topping on a sweeten desert waiting to be eaten at any point in time.

It felt as though if he could just wait for each of them to fall asleep, and should his madness and hunger finally get the better of him, he'd be able to have a full coarse meal at their expense. As though they would become his salvation after having driven him along with them into the endless sea for no reason. With each and every passing moment Hotaro began to feel his eyes attaching themselves onto his 'friends' as though analyzing them. It almost drove Hotaro made to even speak to him as he felt the waters slow down as they finally reached the shore of the island.

“Hey guys…” Hotaro began to speak forth. “We’re here I think…” He finally managed to get out of his mouth the moment that he allowed his tired arms to rest looking about the area attempting to remember what was going on around him. As though lost for a small amount of time, yet still awaiting for his ‘friends’ to speak to him. At the very least he would be capable of removing the thought of him needing to eat something after arriving to the island and getting something inside of his stomach. Assuming nothing went wrong, but what were the chances of anything going wrong with these guys?

Leopold did a bit of rowing to make a quick escape from the ship but after a while let Hotaro do the remainder of the work as he tired from his chain of adventures. He was loosely awake, mentally resting as he was physical awake to an extent. Suddenly he was shook back to reality by the sudden stop of the boat in land. His energy came back as the excitement filled his veins. "Land? Land!" he yelled as he grabbed Firo and Anthony by their collars.

"Let's get some food Mapper, my treat!" Zash's love of food and hunger would surely imply a meal of abnormal size would be a result soon, the legality isn't as guaranteed. After dragging his crewmates a number of meters from the shore a city became visible in the distance, perhaps five minutes run from their current location. Zash gently set down Anthony and Firo, after which he slapped the two of them with great force to snap them back into consciousness. Chances are neither of the two could walk, Firo especially but for now they had to recover from their long journey to the island and their previous battles.

Zash's eyes turned to Mapper, the two had a bit in common. Both are somewhat new crew members and both are Zoans, so their fighting techniques are bound to have similarities. Leopold intended to add notable precision to his fighting and maybe he could find a place to do so in the city. His thought was interrupted by the growling of his stomach as he was reminded of his hunger. "Should we leave them here or go eat Map Kid?" unconsciously switching back from calling him Mapper.

"We got you now, Van Meer."

The man smirked at him, clearly enjoying the moment. He never thought this would happen, not so soon, not like this, not before Grand Line. To think that he managed to pull much more difficult feats and wasn't able to do a simple task this time made him sad. He was a proud fighter, simple stuff like this were embarrassing to him. Anyway, the marines now surrounded him and had the situation completely controlled as he was handcuffed with some weird material that prevented him from using his devil fruit powers. How did he end up like this? Well, it was a sad story and the orange haired man face expressed that very well. Like always, he was tracked by the marines but unlike the other times, he wasn't able to escape, all because of a banana peel. Yes, a banana peel was the cause to his capture.

It all happened when he was exiting a shirt shop where he was purchasing, again, a new striped shirt since the last one had been completely ripped by Jeremy and friends. After several minutes to decide the best one to take, he bought one, quickly wore it and left the small shop. Outside, he took some time to have a better look at how the shirt fitted him however, he was interrupted by a couple of Marines that recognized him among the crowd. Soon, a chase started, with Tony running as fast as he could from his pursuers, he had no intention to fight, not in his current condition. If he had learned anything from those couple of weeks since he left Bausyer was that you should never fight another if you're not in good shape. The pursue continued for many miles, though, the marines were able to call for back up, making everything worse to Tony who was already limited by his physical condition. Still, he was able to run for a good amount of time until destiny made a prank on him. When he was about to make a turn into a new street, he slipped on a peel, quickly losing balance and falling onto the ground. Added to the fall it self was the fact that he hit the ground with his head, passing out instantaneously. When he was brought back to consciousness, the marines were already surrounding.

"Ahahahah, such a fool. You must fail so hard at life..."

Tony sighed at the constant insults and jokes he was getting from his captors. It was the only thing he could do anyway, there was no way he would get out from this one without being killed. It was the end of the line. Yet, he wondered what would the crew make without a captain. If he knew Firo well, he would probably take over it and turn it into a woman-only crew, so he could have all the fun he wanted. Question was, would any female accept him as their captain? That was a question that he would never have an answer for. While he thought about such trivial things, the marine soldiers around him now started the traditional "beat a pirate". From all around, he could now feel legs hitting him on his back, side, chest, head and even face. Some cocky ones, were slapping him and one of them was really strong, so strong that made him pass out.

Opening back the eyes, he noticed that all the marines were now gone and he was standing on some sort of platform, a really tall one. Looking over his shoulder, he spotted two guards with some naginatas on their hands and under him was a huge crowd of people looking at him. Where was he? Soon, someone began to talk.

"Anthony Van Meer, captain of the Jigsaw Pirates, you have been accused of numerous acts of piracy. Because of that, we hereby sentence you to death!"

Wait, what? Was that a dream? How could he be on the verge of being executed if just seconds ago he was laying on the ground in some island? The truth is, everything looked ready to perform the sentence. He was handcuffed and some guys were now approaching him with their weapons above them. Was this the end? Just like that?
By struggling with the chains and cuffs, he was able to bring his hands closer to his chest and pinch himself, which resulted in some excruciating pain and a large reddish dot from where blood now slowly flowed. Maybe he overdid it but the pain certainly felt real. So, he was really about to die. In a last act before resigning to his own death, he tried to ran over to the edge of the wooden platform and jump but the chains didn't let him do it and instead, he was brought down to the floor. This action made the crowd to agitate a bit but soon, they all calmed down again.

With a last sight, he accepted his death.

The cold steel of the guard's weapons penetrated his body and, in that same moment, he understood that this was really happening, it wasn't a dream. Both blades trespassed his body, one side to another and soon, the taste of blood filled his mouth. In his mind, all the memories passed at great speed, it had been good while it lasted. Once the guards took out the blades from within his body, he began to feel weaker and weaker...

-Smack-

Out of the blue, he felt another slap on his face, just like the other one that made him pass out earlier. Were this guys sadists or something? Why the hell were they slapping a dead man? Once again, he rested his eyes on the previously opened wounds which now spouted blood abundantly. The sensation of starting to feel weaker and weaker was still there but, for some reason, it didn't felt like he was dying.

-Smack-

The hell? He was hitting yet another time by an invisible hand on the face. These consecutive slaps were really starting to annoy him since he was now just trying to die in peace, but they just didn't stop, in fact, while he was losing energy, the slaps seemed to gain strength. Damn it! Let me dieeeeee!

-Smack!-

the last slap made him lose consciousness again. After some minutes where he could only see pitch black, a blurry light became clearer and clearer, ending up eventually to unveil where he was in fact. After adapting his eyes to the sudden clarity of what appeared to be daylight, he found himself hanging upwards by the collar. Someone was obviously dragging him around. With his vision still a bit blurry, he began to recognize who it was, Leopold Zash, one of his crew mates. he also noticed how his cheeks where hot and hurt like hell, now he knew from where the slaps where coming. Fortunately, everything he went through had been a dream, or rather a nightmare.

"Damn it Zash, be gentler next time. And you can drop me now."

The day was harsh, a lot harsher than usual, maybe it had something to do with the fact he was half dead. Not only was he half dead, he was half naked as well, the only pieces of clothes he had on were his pants, and Zash's sweater he sacrificed to stop his bleeding. The levels of blood in his body slowly went back up and his skin regained it's limited amount of color under the hot sun. His unusually pale skin reflected the light in a way it gave him a soft glow during the day and a much milder one under the moon. His skin just seemed much lighter in comparison to his dark dress pants and his all black shoes, heck even his dark colored hair.

His left leg was broken and his ribs were poking his lungs slightly, less than before, but it still hurt to breathe. He had a small frame, he wasn't all that strong, but he was strong, he was fast, but he didn't even have that anymore. Speed means nothing when you can't move your legs right, and his limited strength just made things worse. His body was sturdy, but it wasn't in top condition, he was clearly built more for quick smooth moves rather than powerful strikes like his captain, Firo was likely in a worse position than he was. His physical state was pretty bad, he just needed a doctor to help him out, but unfortunately that's what the crew lacked.

Firo wasn't one to criticize the works of a hero, or even a doctor, he usually sat back and watched things happen unless girls were involved. He had to admit for a person who knew nothing about anything relating to medicine or anything medical, Zash was doing well. He stopped his bleeding and managed to get Firo safely between location though he did drag him across the hot sand. The only thing now was the fact that the large man had struck him with a slap so hard it managed to jolt him from his sleep groggily and already half way back to losing his consciousness.

Blurred as it was, Firo's vision was returning slowly, along with his sense of hearing, touch and smell. He could feel the sand scratching at the wounds on his back, also, he could feel the tingling in his face as well. The light clawed at his eyes through the haze and the wind swept sand off his body and onto it at the same time. His body was weak and he knew it wouldn't respond to any command he gave it, he was already trying. He couldn't look anywhere but up, to the sky and the clouds, trying his best to turn his head, but to no avail. He groaned once in a combination of pain and discomfort, his weakness was clear as his fingers merely twitched in the sand while he tried to move his hands. He wasn't use to being in such a state, but it was clear he needed to take a break, his body was calling for it.

Toeto hummed to herself while walking down the beach. It was a rather nice day, and she was bored, so she figured she'd go for a walk. It also helped that she had the day off from work. Believe it or not, that did make a difference. If she was just on a break or something, she would have been too afraid she'd be late to take a walk.

Her eyes were trained on the sand, watching it shift and move which each move she made. It was amazing how something so small and light created this whole island. It was also a bit confusing, since you could only sink so far into it, and then it just stopped shifting around. It was a ponderous question, but she didn't much care to get an answer. Toeto liked having some things unsolved. Not everything, though.

The sounds of other people whisked her mind away from the sand. She looked up to realize she was only a few meters away from a group of about four men. She blinked in surprise. How did I not notice them earlier? She asked herself, watching them, but not listening to what they were saying. They look kinda beat up... I wonder what happened..

It wouldn't have been too polite to just go over to them and ask what had happened. Plus she was too shy to anyways. She stood there, watching them and debating whether to keep walking or see if they needed any help.

Wish You Were Here
Having finally felt his arms tire as they finally reached against the sands of the island before him. Hotaro could hear the voice of Zash enter into his mind and tell him that they had finally managed to reach landfall. In truth, the very mention of making attachment to land. It was as though now he could finally take his mind off of the idea that he would have to travel with these random guys without a desired location. As Hotaro slowly began to place his arms down to his side and relax his grip on the oars which his body had long since grown attached to. Hotaro could feel his thoughts slowly drifting off into much more happier places as he began to attempt to rotate his shoulder about.

His muscles had long sense entered into a state that Hotaro had assumed was similar to rigermortise, in his bones were not in a much better state. Hotaro was unsure if it was due to the endless amount of time he had spent repeating the same process of motioning for god only knew how long. And when he wasn't moving his arms attempting to get closer and closer to shore, he was constantly caught up with these random men in a single boat attempting to get comfortable enough to sleep. It was uncomfortable to say the least having to sit around and waste his time with these random guys who saw him as little more then a random guy.

As Hotaro began to stand to his feet and open his arms in an attempt to absorb some of the sun into his face. He could only feel himself worrying about the condition of the other pirates whom he had assisted in his escape from their previous adventure. He couldn't help but feeling sorry for them and himself due to his lack of effectiveness when escaping, however in the back of his mind he knew that perhaps no one was to blame for the unique turn of events. Maybe it was just fate attempting to throw it's hand down against their throats.

"Hey, not to be rude or anything. But you guys could seriously use some help." Hotaro began to speak as he took a single step out towards the sand. Allowing it to rest firmly against the bottoms of his feet, attempting to gain the most out of the tiny little action. To him, having the ability to finally rest his feet on any form of solid ground was a reassurance that his luck was at the very least turning around.

Hotaro turned his head around attempting to carry on with his words as he began to eye the area around him. "I think we should get them..." Hotaro felt his voice sink for a moment as he began to lock his eyes onto the image of a female standing in the distance. His voice was lost within the matter of moments it took him to notice the female, and his body was frozen shortly there after upon looking onto her figure as a whole.

Her skin carried a soft tan, similar to his own, yet for some reason her flesh seemed to come across as a much more comforting style. She was a slender and small framed female, as though a perfect model who spent most of her time watching each and every drop of food which entered into her body. Her overall appearance was in a sense, average. From her smooth Arburn shaded hair, to her rather short build, she looked as though an average young lady. Even her attire of a simple black pair of pants in combination with a white shirt bearing a simple design that Hotaro had only noticed before while moving random musical instruments around and about his uncles store, seemed to jump out to him.

Hotaro was at a lose for words as he began to lift up one of his hands attempting to muster up some form of a wave. His face was wearing a very heavy yet firm emotionless expression atop it. While his cheeks began to light up a brilliant crimson shade, hidden by the robe which covered most of his head. His fingers began to motion in a wave motion attempting to get the young ladies attention without coming across as odd looking, yet his body was so stiff it seemed as though he was unable to come across as anything but.

"I...Uh...Think..." Hotaro's voice was lost in combination with the speed of his heart kicking up. With each and every beat he could feel his body warming up, and each and every worry he carried before was lost. He was no longer having any problems with his new found 'friends'. Nor was he hungry for anything as he had been just moments before, all he wanted now was to see the beautiful female who stood in the distance of him closer.

Zash dropped Anthony and chuckled at his Captain's comments, guess he didn't know his own strength. However Firo still seemed out of it so he would be the burden on the group while Leopold himself would be the beast of burden. Lifting Firo onto his back with a sigh he turned around having heard Hotaro's comment. There was a girl there and chances are she might recognize them from their wanted posters which could become a huge problem if she was fond of the government.

Tapping Anthony with his heel to secure his attention he quickly addressed the girl. "Hello there! Do you know what way leads to town? We uh...got lost at sea!" putting on the friendliest face possible, as he didn't want to get into another fight with the Marines with the crew in such critical condition. Even he was fairly tired from the rowing and carrying people around like a mule.

With Firo's bleeding making the remains of his 'sweater' moist with blood he remembered to ask for some help with him "Our friend here has scurvy too we should get him to a doctor..." lifting up Firo and treating him much like one would treat a puppet.

With a small thump, Tony hit the soft sand bellow with his back, a hit that even thought small and weak made him feel some pain well noticed by the afflicted face. Still, he was tough and injuries like that didn't matter at all, all he needed were some bandages, a good night of sleep and food, question was, where would he find all that? With no proper medic on the crew, he would have to rely on someone else, someone who wouldn't turn them in to the marines. After such troublesome events, it was only expectable to already have a bounty on their heads. In fact, he was rather anxious to see if they had managed to get a poster for themselves. When he was younger, back at Bausyer, he used to listen lots of stories about dangerous pirates with high bounties, stories that made him always dream of becoming one. So, he eagerly waited to see his poster on a wall, a feat that would be the realization of a life dream.

Leaning a bit forward, he gave a look at the half shirt tied around his torso, where laid the severe cuts done by Jeremy. The pain was bearable and didn't really worry him however, the blood loss was dangerous. To lose a significant amount of blood means he would have less energy and would be more prone to diseases. Hopefully, the rudimentary bandage he made with the remains of his shirt would be enough to hold the majority of the blood, something that proved to be true. Upon looking at it, he noticed how soaked it was but also how it prevented from spread out. but this was only the outside look since he had no idea how the wounds themselves were and, of course, he wouldn't risk to take out his patch without a doctor around. Apart from those wounds, he still had some from previous fights, like the large cut on his right arm which was still protected by bandages as well as minor scratches. He was able to add up some new bruises and small cuts though, and his ribs seemed to be worse again but nothing too painful. In conclusion, he really needed to rest a bit.

After that small body check, he was now preparing himself to get up, yet, Zash kneel tap brought his attention to something else. At first he looked in front and upon looking at the emptiness of the beach, he began to wonder what was going on. After some minutes he finally thought straight and realized he was facing the opposite direction. turning his head around, he saw the Lizardman approaching someone. It took him a while to realize who or what was it because Zash kept blocking his view but after looking better at it he finally saw that he was talking to a female or sorts. by the looks of it, she seemed to be human and rather short as well as petite, maybe she was just a child, he had no way of knowing. Truth to be told, at that distance, he couldn't really tell much about her and suddenly, that single thought lead him to another one, where were his round sunglasses? The answer would probably be, smashed somewhere around The Mole, which was a shame, he really liked them. His black bonnet had better luck and was still attached to his head even though it was a bit dirty and damaged. This meant only one thing, after getting some rest, he would have to go shopping.

Moving on into more important things, he slowly got up to check out on Zash and his mysterious girl. Chances were he would freak the girl out because of his stature and current condition but he really didn't care. if she wanted to run then let her run, he wouldn't chase after her, at least not today. A bit unbalanced but hanging out well, he moved forward at a steady pace until he reached the two, quickly using Zash shoulder as holder. Before addressing to her, he tried to look the best he could and so, with a large smile and a happy spirit, he asked her a few stuff like there was nothing wrong with him.

"So, what's going on here? Are you lost or something or are you here to help us? Help would be nice, especially if you're a doctor."

The agony, the embarrassment, the feeling of defeat all spread throughout Firo's fragile body as he continued his attempts to move. He never felt so useless until now, not a single part of his body was responding to his calls. His breathing was slowly and heavy, his chest heaved back and forth, pressing against his cracked and fractured ribs. The feeling of impending doom hovered over the head of the crippled Teen each time he inhaled because he feared his lungs would explode. Not to mention the amount of pain he was going trough just inhaling in the first place. He didn't have well enough control to switch his breathing to his nose, and when it went in or out of his mouth, it felt as if his throat was being rubbed by sandpaper. The coarse feeling made talking hard, and he assumed it was blood dried against the back of his throat from the battles.

The same blood painted various parts of his body as well, from his splintered leg to his chest and back. He was nowhere near ripped, but the way the blood fell on him emphasized the small muscle mass that hid below his skin, as well as where the bones attempted to poke through, or where an irregularity hid. His arms were fine, but everything below his chin showed hints of dis-figuration or pain, his body was painted in the scars of battle and it made him seem like a warrior, although it looked like he barely escaped with his life and that even that was soon to be taken. His body was shrieking to him it's pain and discomfort even as Zash lifted him once more onto his back.

Nat had been rescued by the lizard man so many times he had already lost count and quite frankly he was more in his debt than anyone else. He was on his back so often he was surprised he didn't have his own little groove indented on it. The feeling of his scales became somewhat soothing on the wounds, but being against the back of a human male made him a bit uncomfortable. He couldn't complain as he didn't have the ability to move himself, but he found himself staring over the shoulder of the man with no say in the matter. His eyes were dull and dim in comparison to their usual spark and sense of confidence and his usual calm and easy going nature were no longer present. He was just the shell of a man that used to be Firo and quite frankly he was disgusting himself. He was beaten up worse than ever before and he knew this, but he never expected to his his limit so hard. If he hadn't did those air bullets he might have enough strength to at least walk, but that wasn't happening.

He noticed a figure that had made everybody speak to them, and even made Hotaro stutter. He was wondering who or what they were and instinctively thought Marines had found them and everyone was trying to play it off. In the face of death even the toughest would stutter, Tony was always the same no matter who they were and Zash was, well, Zash was Zash and would always be Zash. His eyes adjusted to the light and he found a woman standing before them and with that he smiled once, trying to hide all his damage, which was not possible. He coughed twice as he tried to speak but simply gave up, hitting on her would happen later when he could breathe without the threat of death.

The sand was starting to burn Toeto's feet. It was another odd thing about sand she didn't understand, though didn't really care to figure out. It wasn't that hot at all, unless you stand in one place for a while. She fidgeted slightly, trying to shift the sand so she was standing on some of the cooler particles hidden beneath the surface. She would have just moved down to the muddy sand near the water, but that would have gotten her feet muddy, and she didn't quite feel like going back through town with mud on her feet. Of course, her little bit of discomfort was nothing compared to what it looked like these guys had been through.

The slow and stiff movement of one of them caught her eye. She focused on him, waving ever so slightly. Hesitantly she brought up her own hand and gave him a small wave, smiling slightly, and blushing a bit. His small, if uncertain seeming, wave had assured her that these men were probably nice, though their appearance at the moment would suggest otherwise. Though she may seem rather naive, she did wonder how many unkind people would wave to some random person on the beach.

She nodded to Zash's question, taking in his story. It didn't seem too real. How many people got this beat up, just getting lost at sea? Though it would probably be best not to question it. It wasn't her business anyways. "T-The closest town is just that way." She said, trying not to be too quiet. She pointed back in the direction she had come.

Toeto's eyes drifted to Firo as he was mentioned. She quickly took in his appearance, before looking back at Zash. She raised a brow at the scurvy excuse, but also did not question that. They would have to tell the truth to the doctor. "There should be a d-doctor in town." She muttered, not too sure where in town. She hadn't had a reason to find a doctor since she'd come here.

As one of the guys moved up closer, leaning against the first one, she had the briefest feeling of recognizing them. She wasn't entirely sure if she'd actually seen them before, or if it was just her mind playing tricks on her, but they did all seem familiar. She would probably have time to ponder this later, plus the feeling of seeing them before was already vanishing.

She though about her answer to the question posed by the man with the hat. She fidgeted her feet some more, and tugged and pushed on the top of one of her gloves as she thought. She was not lost, but nor had she come to help them. Of course, she would certainly help, though she had no idea what was actually going on. "I'm...I'm not lost." She answered, slightly haltingly. [seagreen]"But, I will h-help."[/color]

The sound of coughing brought her eyes back to Firo, and she gave him a shy smile. It did look a bit like her had scurvy, but that would not explain the other man's beat-up appearance as well. No, she did not believe the excuses she was given, but she would not question them. What they were up to was none of her business, and she would not try to make it so.

Wish You Were Here
As Hotaro began to watch as the female before him began to move closer and closer as his heavy feet began to lose the ability to carry him onward. It was as though lead had injected themselves into his ankles and even though his toes were attempting to carry him onward, his legs simply weren’t connecting properly. It had gotten to the point that there was next to no chance of him advancing forward as the female grew closer and closer to him. Even from the distance it was as though his heart and mind had begun to work together attempting to speak out loud, yet none of what he was attempting to say managed to escape from within.

“She’s so beautiful… I mean seriously look at her, which has to be a goddess at the very least…” Hotaro’s mind began to drift off into thought the moment that he began to watch as the woman advanced forward towards his current position. It was as though her tiny wave giving him some form of warmth within his stomach. It felt as though that could only be seen as a heavy amount of affection attempting to manifest it. “ I mean seriously, it feels as though she’s making her way closer and closer to me at this very moment…” Hotaro had began to feel his heart beating against his chest as he attempted to ignore the words of his friends as she managed to move closer and closer to his current position.

It wasn’t until Hotaro heard the mention of the woman attempting to assist them that his hand began to break away from its wave and his mind began to freeze for a moment. In a moment he felt another image emerge before him as his mind began to speak out once again. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as he began to hear his own thought echoing throughout his mind. “It’s a trap!” He began to feel his eyes slowly attach themselves onto the female who seemed to move closer and closer to their current location. “I swear it’s a trap! Don’t do it! These guys are crazy!” Hotaro’s mind began to scream volumes as his hand continued to do a half hearted wave unable to speak clearly.

The tone of his mind speaking was drowned out by his voice speaking broken bits and pieces in combination with the heavy breathing of his body. “I… uh, I… help now…ok?” Hotaro began to speak out in bits in pieces as his hand began to stop it’s wave and his mind continued to scream out. “Oh dear god don’t help these people! I swear they’ll destroy this entire city or something! Run away!” Hotaro began to think to himself the moment that he finally began to absorb the words of female before him in the voice rather than their words. It was as though he had been hearing her, yet for the first time he had finally began to accept listening to her. "Run away my crimson headed maiden! These people are insane and aren't to be trusted, they'll attempt to do something odd and out of the way. Please run away from here and don't help any of us!"

Her voice seemed to be so soft and meek to the point that it was as though a drifting cloud attempting to drift throughout the area. It was as though her very soft spoken voice began to carry onward into the depths of his heart, yet for some reason it made it impossible for him to speak up. It was as though he was unable to clearly accept his current situation and his thoughts going against it after hearing her voice once again. Her voice which seemed to echo throughout Hotaro’s mind as he began to place his hands to his sides and turning to look at her carrying a grin, if you could call it that.

Hotaro’s face began to break into a slightly harden grin which seemed darker than anything. It was as though he was simply wearing a horrid a stern looking half cocked grin atop his face which took the form of a rather cocky smirk. Even as his overall bodies temperature began to increase to levels that he couldn’t even move in. In Hotaro’s mind he was wearing a large grin with a very warm and comforting tone about him; it felt as though there wasn’t much for him to do aside from sits there with a stupid grin atop his face. A grin which seemed much colder and emptier then it really was, due to it being unable to clearly show his heart felt emotions.

“So…what…” Hotaro’s voice began to slowly escape as he finally began to shuffle his feet throughout the sand attempting to move slightly closer to her. His arms still stiff from the rush of blood running throughout them, as well as the stress from having to row all the way there. While his knees were slowly losing the ability to support even his own weight, it was unknown if it was due to his emotions or the stress he had been undergoing. But as Hotaro began to look onto the figure of the female before him, he felt his blood rush to his head and a small droplet of blood began emerge from his nose as he continued to speak. “Huh…” Hotaro attempted to get out of his mouth as he watched the female closely carrying on his movements as though a machine.

Leopold was relieved by the girl's cooperation it was all they needed. However it seemed Hotaro began to suffer from epilepsy as his words were broken and body twitching. He sighed seeing as he was officially the only one capable of normal function. "Well I'll take whatever help you have to offer Miss! We don't know our away around that well." he said trying to fidget a way to hold Firo without causing more harm. He wasn't sure what to do with Hotaro but decided to grab him by the shoulder and start dragging in the direction the Girl pointed in.

What a situation, at least Anthony and the new Girl would be of some assistance though Tony didn't seem like he would be able to help move around Firo and Mapper. Normally he would make a plan in case she became an issue but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to it. Chances are his gut told him not worry. His thoughts scattered when the town in reference became visible. It was none other than Loguetown, a famous landmark in Pirate History from what he read. Amazed that he would finally be there in person he could only stutter for a while before he could mutter "The beginning and the end..." suddenly he burst into a guffaw of joy.

"Come on! We have to go see the execution platform!"
he yelled back with a smile that was reminiscent of a child in a candy shop, just barely holding himself from a flat out sprint to the Plaza.

"Great!"

His reply came in a joyful tone, it would be wonderful to have someone help them out, specially after all what they had been through. However, this raised some serious questions because past showed that situations rather calm like this always lead to even more dangerous events. For instance, last time they were helped, back at the Fairy Land, they were surprised by the infamous Wandering Pirates and held as prisoners, later leading to the attack from the marines from which they barely escaped. Previous to that was the calm day they had back in the North at Aokuchi, where they thought it was safe to stay, something that proved to be wrong when they got chased around the city, making them split in two groups. So, if he went by their last history, things like this betokened something bad. Yet, this time, he was confident in a peaceful stay here at this island. Speaking of which, where were they anyway? It when Zash spoke that he realized their current location as well as the problem they had just got into.

By mentioning the execution platform, his crew mate could only mean they were right there, in the legendary place where a very famous pirate was executed as well as in the closest island to the Grand Line, Loguetown. Because of its position, that made it a passage place for those who wanted to travel through Reverse Mountain, the marine influence there was high and so, they had to be careful and not be recognized. He wasn't sure they had a bounty poster already but, after so many encounters with the marines chances were high. Once again, things didn't look bright at. There was, however, an advantage of being in a large city like this, they will certainly get some help from somebody. Pirate lover were everywhere and so, the task of finding a doctor willing to help them would be much easier.

It was right then he noticed something awkward, just when he was about to speak. Now close to them was that guy, Mappler and for some reason, he was strangely affected by something. Flowing from his nose was now visible a small line of blood. He seemed to be shaking bit and was rather pale, clearly signs of some odd disease. With a step to the side but always with a hand over Zash, he opened up some space between them to, in case of being contagious, prevent himself from getting it. Still, he wasn't going to let him die right and so, he asked what was going on with him.

"Hey, Mappler, are you ok?"

He spoke in a worried tone. Even though he had just met him and didn't knew much about him, he had still proven his worthy by helping them escaping from that damned sea battle. This meant he was, at least, in debt with him so, leaving him to die wasn't an option. But this sudden illness couldn't have a worse timing. With him out, it would only leave Zash in full shape to defend the rest in case of attack. Their only way was to hurry and get a shelter for the night so they could treat their wounds.

"Hey, girl, could you help him out? He seems to be ill or something and we need to get to the city fast. You said you weren't a doctor but, maybe you know someone? Or at least a place where we can stay for the rest of the day and night."

Firo was trying his best not to groan as he was moved across the man's back once again. His attempts to adjust him into a proper position making nothing more that awkward feeling even worse. He tried not to struggle off his back, the greaves tied around his legs made it difficult to even bend them. The only thing holding him up was the loose hold he had over Zash's neck, trying to strangle him as much as keep himself up at the moment. His little remaining strength was being used in this move and it was barely keeping him above the ground, his legs pointed to the ground like metallic poles, unable to bend without great force. Force he lacked at the moment and he wasn't sure he even had in the first place.

He pressed himself against the body of the man with all his might, trying to suction cup himself to his back as best he could. He was surprised at how weak he was as his best attempt felt more like back humping and so he stopped with the words "homo" in mind. He wanted to sigh, but the scratching in the back of his throat simply transformed it into a very hoarse cough. His body needed rest and that is what he planned on getting, even if it was on Zash's back, or the sandy beach. He was tired, especially from the exhaustion and the groggy feeling of the powerful slap Zash had given him, it felt as if it knocked his weariness further into his body than before. His feet were more useless than he remembered and as were his arms. He remembered feeling weak before he passed out, but he could at least move a little.

His weak state meant nothing more than he was dead weight for the crew right now and he had absolutely nothing to offer. It was true that he was strong, not physically, by as a fight in general, he knew this and he should his determination to fight in such a way, his body nearly gave way in the process. This was the effect and the result of such a thing, quite frankly he deserved it and knew he would feel serious side effects. He would take his lumps with no complaints at all. The only bright side he could see was that he would be much stronger than before. Being pushed to his limits usually resulted in something that was better than before, in this case, he hoped his legs would be stronger at least.

Toeto smiled slightly at the words being spoken to her, trying her best to remember where the doctors all lived at. There were a few in Loguetown, and not a few as in hundreds, but a few as in five or six. If anything she could ask someone once in town, though that'd be rather chancy.

She giggled slightly at excitable expression on the one man's face. She didn't often see anyone who was so glad to be in this town. Then again, she also didn't often see anyone this beat up, much less talk to them. It was common to see pirates happy to stop by this town, but only because it meant they were going to the Grand Line soon.

At the mention of the name Mappler, Toeto's face lit up with recognition. She had recognized them from their bounty posters, which were posted in just about every bar, including the one she worked at. She could name each of them with ease, thanks to the pictures on the posters. Though that might cause some problems. She wasn't against helping pirates, in fact she was all for it, except she'd have to watch out for Firo. However if just one person in town recognized them, the marines would swarm.

"Toeto." She said quickly, as Tony called her 'girl'. "My n-name is Toeto." She paused a bit, not answering his questions yet. She could tell them about their bounties, since they had only recently gained them and probably didn't know, or she could just pretend she didn't know. The first would probably keep them safer. "A-And your name is, Anthony, right? She asked, hoping she had gotten the name right. "And Zash, and F-Firo." She added, pointing to both of them. It was pointless to say Mappler's name, since Anthony had already said it. Though she did wonder if it was his real name.

Giving a sheepish smile, she decided to answer the questions now. "I'll help him. I don't know any doctors though." She admitted, shuffling her feet slightly. "Y-You can stay at my place, if you want. It's a bit small, but it's safe.." She offered.
