Opinion The Matter of Zoan+Savant

So like seriously apparently I seem to be the only one who thinks that Savant's possible with a Zoan user and even serves a purpose. So what I'm here to ask is that does this make sense to anyone aside from myself.

Quote:

Devil Fruit Savant (1 Trait): By focusing on mastering one's devil fruit powers, some individuals can unlock abilities and uses well beyond the average ability user. This trait effectively raises the devil fruit by one tier; it's offensive, defensive, support, or utility potential may be raised. The exact nature of the power increase needs to be clearly defined, and not all devil fruit can benefit from this trait. Before choosing it, it's a good idea to discuss your plans with a moderator or an administrator.

Ok now my question is that wouldn't this enable someone to gain information and understanding over their own Zoan fruit to create new forms for themselves. The main issue that people tell me is that "Rumble Balls do that" So my opinion on it is, that wouldn't having Savant with a zoan enable you to understand it enough to create the forms, but then actually purchasing the Rumble Balls would enable you to use the powers of the forms. I mean in truth, Chopper was pretty smart to have designed the forms for his Rumble Ball to be used in the first place. I don't think anyone else could simply just take the drug and go "Yeah... I don't need an understanding of my devil fruit by any means to have this drug do anything for me."

I know what most people think... they don't like having to waste one Technique slot and then give up money to gain more forms. But like isn't that somewhat a small price to pay to follow some strands of sense in this sense? You're gaining freedom and creativity in exchange for a single technique point and like a few beli from a character.

I don't think Rumble Balls are really something you could buy reasonably, to be honest. They seem to have been something unique to Chopper and he modeled them after his own Zoan, who's to say another Zoan user could even use them? Similar products would have to be created by chemist/scientists/doctors/etc for themselves or crew members if they want the same effects.

That said, there is also debate on the use of Rumble Balls to even achieve those effects. Several zoan users like Marco and that guy I don't care about from Blackbeard's crew have shown partial transformations without the use of them. I personally believe that the Rumble Balls are just an acceleration on the natural progression of a Zoan user.

I do agree that it might require something to use any similar products within reason. It's already said Chopper spent a considerable amount of time experimenting with the Rumble Balls and their transformations before he could use them all. Savant's use with such a thing is dependent on who you ask, as the nature of Savant changes with every fruit it's applied to. Partial, mixed or otherwise transformations don't seem 'Savantish' to me, but rather other influences.

Savant to me would be controlling or altering specific aspects of the Zoan, not just letting you tap into new forms.
