In a great big septagonal room, a festively decorated place on the boundaries of the site's canon and non-canon locales, sits a great tree. The tree is a beautiful evergreen, reaching 100 feet high, it's lowest boughs teen feet up from the ground, it's canopy 30 feet across at it's base. It is decorated with beautiful, golden-flamed candles made of pristine white wax in gorgeous silver lamps which hang at perfectly even intervals all the way up the tree. Sparkling glass orbs of green and red reflect this beautific light about the room, which is dimly lit by six massive, warm, crackling hearths, each set in the center of one of the room's six doorless walls. Above each are a dozen stockings, hung with care, bearing the names in golden glitter of various pirates, marines, and bounty hunters. On each wall are two windows, their drawn curtains made of ephemeral white cloth, a dark, cold, snowy landscape in the midst of a raging blizzard visible outside. On the seventh wall is a great oak door, the wreath outside a sign of welcome to all the many guests gathered about the grand room. All about the room are silver carts covered in cood milk, hot cocoa, mulled cider, as well as eggnog, and coffee. There are gingerbread, sugar, and butter cookies as well, of all sizes and shapes and flavors and colors, enough to suit every taste. Large comfy recliners and couches and loveseats are arranged in a great circle around the tree, cozy blankets spread everywhere for those who wish to bundle up and enjoy the warmth of the atmosphere. Beneath the unspeakably marvelous tree are boxes, countless boxes, wrapped in breath-takingly beautiful colors and prints, metalic ribbons and bows of every sort. The gifts all have names on them, and each person feels drawn to their own gift as if they'd known exactly where it was all along. Kindly old women dressed in yule-tide garments move about the room, keeping every mug and plate filled with the amazingly delicious holiday refreshments. Every man, woman, and child is filled to bursting with holiday cheer (except for you evil, vicious types who are scowling in disdain). As an extra, special bonus, even Kilika is allowed in this year. A sound of pan-piping fills the air, a magical sort of quality to it's tunes, good-will and joy filling even the more magnanimous souls. A light, mischievous, elf-like voice sounds from nowhere and everywhere, wishing well unto the gathered Santamas revelers. "Merry Santamas!" a voice called, as lilting, cheery, and enchanting as it was disembodied. "I have called you all here to the Land of Santamas to be filled with the spirit of giving, the spirit of sharing. Have a blessed holiday one, have a blessed holiday all!!" -------------------------------------------

In the corner of his eye, Tanrei noticed something sparkling beyond the distance. He decides to acknowledge what may be calling for his attention. To find the darkness to fade, and a sky-conquering green figure. Its ornament's glistening reflected upon Tanrei's eyes but couldn't believe the information his mind was receiving. The Tree stood so tall, he couldn't tell the difference of the bright stars from the sparkling Christmas lights. He stood opposed it dazed by the sight. His eye's watered and his lips quivered. Tears of joys ran down his face. However, hidden in the shadows. Tanrei walks over like a zombie with a clouded mind of fantasies. "what's down here?--" he muttered to himself but only to be interrupted by the lively colors. Vibrant with joy and the feeling of longing. To be unveiled. Tanrei observes and figured many recognizable names. Surely there could be one of his own! the thought restless in his head. The excitment almost unbearable! He dived into the heap of presents. On a quest to find his, only to be rewarded by a simple yet beautifully wrapped, red present. It's had no ribbons or bows of any sort. Yet a simple print upon the vivid wrapping. A large peach. Tanrei couldn't hold back, his tears escaped from his eyes again. He hugged the present, holding it warmly in his arms. "Thank you Santa..." hoping his word my reach him in spirit. The sudden response came. A rare occasion to Tanrei. He smiled with all his heart! For the first time he did not care what others might think of him. All he knows is his belief in the Merriest Christmases and the beautiful miracles. He carefully opens his present with a peaceful attitude and opening the present. It's uncovers, And smiled with amazement. Inside Tanrei found a small device, a cyldiner not a half-inch wide, three inches long, with what looked like half of a clear glass bead sticking out of one end. The cylinder had two flat plates on it, each on the same side, at either end of the device. A small wire ran from the end opposite the one with the glass hemisphere, ending in a small metal clamp plate. On the side of the cylinder opposed the two plates was a small engraving of a peach. At the end of the wire, tied loosely by a white string, was an old parchment label with words written on it in black engineer's ink. To my dear lil' Rei: This little gadget should help your 'Guardian' keep you even safer. Even when I'm not there, I'll always be watching over you. Love, Uncle 'Iki. A tear rolled down Tanrei's cheek, a feeling of mixed sadness and joy building inside of him. A gift from his uncle, mailed out before he had died, brought to him by the magic of christmas. [OOC = The device, as Tanrei figures out with a little bit of fiddling, is a laser scope for his crossbow. It mounts on the bottom, and creates a red dot on his targets just a couple inches below where the bolt will hit when he pulls the trigger halfway. It will increase your accuracy when using offensive abilities with the crossbow by +5 if you take one extra post to line up a shot with the laser scope.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 25 2009, 07:33 AM.

Tony observed more carefully the humongous tree that rested in front of him now. Man, it was big, bigger than anything he had seen so far, but it was also beautiful. Looking around, he enjoyed the set of colors until he spotted something, a silver cart full of delicious food. Like an animal he launched himself at it and began to devour all those butter cookies the ones he loved more than any other kind of cookie. Though, while eating, he saw something near to him, a giant red cookie that smelled really nice. Curious about what was its flavor, he dropped his beloved butter cookies for while and took a bite from the reddish cookie, only to spit every little piece of it in the next moment. "Tomato flavored? Disgusting!" Such event made quickly get full of cookies, he now wanted to get as far as he could from them to prevent another distasteful event. This took him closer to the huge evergreen again, however, this time he got really close, so close he could finally see that there were present of all colors under it who held names on it. Excited with the possibly of a present with his name being there, he quickly scanned the pile. His search came across a small red present with a large white ribbon. Smiling with satisfaction, he approached it and grabbed the gift, returning to one of the couches afterwards to comfortably open it. Before unfolding his present and with the spirit of Christmas now burning inside him, he shouted out loud so everyone could hear. "Merry Christmas you all!" Tony peered into the freshly opened box, the smell of paper wafting up to his nose. There appeared to be a pile of small pieces of cardboard inside, completely white on both sides, with a single letter in the middle of some pieces, nothing in the middle of others. It took the pirate a moment to figure out what he was looking at: it was a jigsaw puzzle. Because the letter were centered on the pieces and did not cross any borders, it was essentially a white puzzle; the most difficult kind. Beyond there, there were thousands of pieces: for any normal person, this would take a century to solve. The captain of the Jigsaw Pirates, however, knew this was child's play for him. Dumping the puzzle onto the ground in front of him, Tony tapped it twice. The pieces began to jump and skitter across the rich stained pine floorboards, assembling themselves. Soon, a large white sheet, all the puzzle lines vanished, laid infront of him. There was one semi-square in the middle, with one long corner, which had not formed into the poster with the others. At the top of the poster was a note: "Boy, In case you get into worse trouble than you can deal with on the ol' Gran' Line, use this gift. You hold it in the middle of your palm and follow where the long end points. Pops" [OOC = This is a biblecard. Use it on the first island you get to in the Grand Line for a free NPC companion.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 25 2009, 07:51 AM.

After laying his scarf on the backseat of a couch, Benjamin sits down with a cup of hot mulled cider in his hand. Smiling peacefully, he enjoys the scents of all the baking’s and hot drinks, the warm atmosphere, his tasty drink and the glory and glimmer of the magnificent, overgrown Christmas tree. Watching the play of light on the decoration covered branches; Benjamin really sank into the Christmas mood. But something kept him uneasy, like something that should be done. He looked around, for any disturbance. But all the people gathered that day were enjoying their drinks and foods. Some semi-idiot just had almost swallowed a whole cart of cookies, with the cart, until he spat something out of his mouth and started to avoid the food like it had a plague. Benjamin couldn’t help to smile more because of that though. But then finally he noticed it. Like a call, something under the Christmas tree was trying to get his attention. He rests the now almost empty cup on the floor as he got up. Slowly walking to the tree, he kneeled down in front of a package that was a pretty much regular sized. He glared over the name on the package, as he suddenly heard the jolly yell, soon followed by the idiot from before screaming back his greetings. That had disturbed Ben, who only after a minute got himself together again. Now he finally saw his own name written on the top. Like a child on Christmas... Ben then just ripped the wrappings half off with couple of moves. After oppening the package and glaring in, the sight brought a grin to Ben's face. He rose the package above his head without taking the item out, wrappings still half on, it was his turn to scream like a moron, “Happy Holidays, Everybody!” Inside the box, Ben had clearly seen his gift in the moment he had glanced down at it; a beautiful razor strop. The leather was a deep, rich, oiled brown, made from seaking hide. The metal belt-clip at the end was a dark silver with an antique patina, the handle the same dark polished oak, even cut in the same design, as his razors. Alongside it was a bottle of magnificent jewler's rouge made from Amazon Lilian coral, among the highest quality in blade polishing the world has to offer. [OOC = Using the strop and rouge to polish his razors will keep them in perfect condition fight after fight. Any battle in which the razors are used immediately after polishing will cause the razors to cut through flesh and even non-metal armor very cleanly, neatly, causing the first few freeform attacks he lands with each razor to do damage as if they were rank 4 techniques.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 25 2009, 08:07 AM.

Standing in one of the corner’s observing as always Havelock stood with a mug of cocoa in hand. There were much to many people here and he was beginning to feel uncomfortable, he had no idea where the cocoa had come from or why he hadn’t got rid of it but best not to dwell on these things. Igor on the other hand was enjoying himself thoroughly, it was even more confusing that people were not hitting him with things and running away. The tree was something to behold though Havelock mused, and the neatly wrapped parcels under it did draw the eye, sipping the cocoa he moved through the crowd till he found Igor stuffing himself with gingerbread men. ”Enjoying the festivities’ are we?. He said while Igor tried to swallow the contents of his mouth hastily, ” Oh yeth thir, ith so nithe ithn´t it?, and nobody´th trying to kill each other which is alwayth a bonuth. he said while brushing the crumbs from his suit, the lack of fighting and death threats was odd in a room filled with Pirates, Marines and Bounty Hunters. And so the two stood still watching the merriment that was partaking around them, that was until Havelock felt drawn to the looming tree and its sparkling lights. ” Igor, in the spirit of the season im giving you the day off, no thanks are necessary just go enjoy yourself. Havelock said ignoring what he could only describe as a burst of extreme kindness, Igor bowed with a smile and diapered into the crowd with hopes of meeting someone who in the christmas spirit would give the gift of donating their kidneys. After Igor had left he made his way nonchalantly towards the tree, making sure nobody was looking at him as he bent down and scanned the names on the presents, quite shocked he found one with his name on it, and it was spelled correctly which caused further surprise. Standing up slowly he examined the gift, once satisfied that it was not a bomb he smiled, "Merry Christmas indeed... he said in a tone only audible to those near him before starting to unwrap the present delicately. As Havelock unwrapped the rectangular package, he would be disappointed to realize that the shape of the wrapping pearper hadn’t been a trick – the present itself was a rectangular prism as well. It was about twenty-four inches long, and four inches thick and wide, checkered red-and-white. The block seemed quite useless, except pearhaps as a pearpearweight, but a familiar scent seemed to waft up into Havelock’s nose. Upon licking the block he would realize that it was constructed of a rare peppermintstone. And that his tongue was stuck. [OOC: The peppermintstone gets fashioned into a swordstick, and it will have the pattern of a candy cane, but the constitution of titanium. Licking it will instantly refresh your breath. Hot water makes it soft, and then you can bend it and stuff.] Edited by Titan, Dec 25 2009, 01:11 PM.

There was a certain taint to the air as Simian entered the room. He walked with a sinister skip, trampling over gifts for generic and unimportant faceless deckhands; by some stretch of luck, not smashing the gifts of those people who actually have names. There was something about this holiday that always got Simian angry, he hated this holiday to no end, was it the smiles on the children, or the tender flavor of roast beast? Not a soul with a soul knew, but Simian did, and every year he made it his goal to ruin everyone’s holiday. With a hop and a skip, he took out a green sack, and he proceeded to fill it with gifts weren’t his, the filled stockings of others, tree ornaments, and food off of the plates of others; snickering like a madman as he did so. He hopped around the room, stealing and smashing more gifts. As he proceeded to fill up his bag with various stockings, his eyes caught something, the candles burning along the tree. Simian dove into a sinister bent stance, ‘Oh, that’ll ruin everyone’s fun. The tree being lit ablaze, I’m surprised it didn’t hit me sooner!’ He thought with sick glee. While his early trouble-making had only brought frowns to people all around, his next action was going to bring tears and maybe even a lawsuit or two. He charged at the tree, hell bent on ending this whole night early, when a sick orphan limping on crutch. The young boy held a gift, on its tag was “Simian Brundlefly”, despite his attempts of trying to ruin Christmas; it seemed that someone out there still thought enough of Simian. While with most Christmas villains this would have been the turning point, but not for Simian. He kicked the orphan in the chest, and his gift flew into the air, he caught it smiled the sickest of all smiles. "… Smekekekekeke!" He laughed into the cold Christmas air. With guard incoming he thought it was time to flee. But before he fled, he made one promise to everyone near, “You think this is over, but oh dear you’re wrong, I’ll be back again next year. “ He taunted, followed by a sinister crackle. In his flee he saw no harm in not waiting until he got to safety, he opened up gift throwing the wrapping paper into the face of assailant. -Simian the plagued quack, Was an awful soul indeed, He got sick kicks from the gifts going crack, And watching orphans bleed, “Smekekekekekekeke…” The emergency exits open up wide, awaiting the approaching race, As he skipped gaily into the room, The people cry and the joy just leaves their face, “Oh shit he’s here, this can only end with doom.” “Smekekekekekekeke…” The people sobbed and sipped straight rum by the cup, He made his promise loud and clear~ Hoping all will listen up, “Smekekekekekekeke…” “I’ll be back again next year.” “Oh~” “I’ll be back again next year.”- Simian finds, upon unwrapping his present, a small box, within which is a small black sack. As he unties the sack, an absolutely noxious fume hits his nose – he reels back, lightheaded, and begins to hear colors. Everything before his eyes is rainbow all of a sudden, and he’s struck by a powerful need to hook up with the next man he sees. Once he clears his mind, one way or another, not that there’s anything wrong with that, he’ll look within the bag to discover an assortment of strange-looking mushrooms. + 3x red-capped mushrooms, which will cause the user to swell to five times his size for three posts + 3x purple-capped mushrooms that cause the user to shrink to ten times his size for five posts + 1x green-capped mushroom that will bring the eater back from the brink of death; however, this mushroom does not close wounds or regenerate flesh, so there will be injuries beyond its abilities + 1x Rainbow mushroom that turns you into a truck AWWWRIGHT Edited by Titan, Dec 25 2009, 03:56 PM.

Kishin looked up at the enormous tree that towered before him, it reached high, higher then any tree he had ever seen before. This was his first Christmas he had ever celebrated, his traditional family had not given out presents, but instead enjoyed just the simple pleasure of each others company, well not specificly stating that they weren't celebrating Christmas, but just each other. Which he had liked, but at the same time he had felt a bit left out as a child when he watched all the other children play with their Christmas presents. He had liked spending time with his family, but not getting no presents! ”Well, I guess there's a year for everything!” He grabbed a cookie from a platter on a table well he gazed up at the huge tree, he couldn't believe how awesome it looked, it was very impressive. He then looked at its base, and saw tons of presents, all piled on top of each other. He chewed the cookie well looking at them, thinking he had nothing under there, but still liked to see all of them, they were all festive looking. He walked over to the base of the tree, and with surprise saw a big red box with green ribbon tied neatly on it with a small tag, that said his name on it. He did a double take not believing it for a second, then he grinned widely and grabbed it shouting, ”MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Kishin unwrapped his present to discover a box full of orbs roughly the size of At some later point, Kishin would find the instructions for creating these devices nestled at the bottom of the box, allowing him to create more in the future. [OOC: You get three of these thunder-and-lightning spheres per SL. They’re essentially flash bangs accompanied by a loud sound. Unfortunately, there’s a very small chance of an orb triggering the chorus of “My Heart Will Go On” instead of the thunderclap.] Edited by Titan, Dec 25 2009, 08:30 PM.

Caliber sat in a large green chair, decorated in a Christmas style of reds and gold’s. The room was filled with people of all sizes and colors. Not just looks, but many were not just pirates like him. There were Marines and even Bounty Hunters. Caliber didn't panic, he had way to much holiday cheer in him to cause any problems. He took a large sip from his giant mug of Eggnog and let the flavors rush over his tongue. He thought for a moment, focused on the ingredients used in it, before taking a gulp more. The drink was almost perfect; in the future Caliber would try to make the same drink. In his other hand was a big sugar cookie which he had already taken many a bites from. Everything was bright, colorful, and delicious! A paradise for Caliber. Caliber stood up from his seat and stretched out his giant robotic arms. He did a quick prayer to the inventor that gave him his arm, thanking him and hoping for his safety. Caliber then wandered over to the tables of food, completely missing the event with the gift crusher/ Orphan punter. He scanned the table and decided to try every hard drink on the table. Each was good, a few made Caliber wince in disgust, but it was good enough for him. Suddenly, Caliber felt himself pulled back to the tree. He sat down and reached far to the back, picking up a metal box. He placed the metal cube in front of him and inspected it. The thing seemed to be made out of spray painted scraps of metal. Though the scraps were not random, it seemed like the entire box had been engineered to open by it self. This has to be from him! Caliber thought, images of the inventor leaving his town appearing before him. Caliber then took a look to his metal arms and changed his right arm into his shotgun, enjoying the work of the inventor. He then changed the right arm back to normal to get a hands on look at the gift. Caliber inspected a button on the top and shrugged, pressing the button with one of his over sized metal fingers. The cube seemed to expand at Caliber’s touch. Rapidly growing too cumbersome for most humans to hold comfortably, the metallic cube began to whir, and colors on its surface began, inexplicably, to dart around. Although Caliber’s massive arms allowed him to hold the enlarged cube with relative ease, he wisely set the cube on the ground, to allow the complicated mechanism to do its own thing. A whirring sound started up, and lights pulsed from the “panels” – the cube was about a cubic foot in size, with each face broken up into nine smaller squares. A few of the other people glanced at this strange device, but there were stranger gifts yet and so they were not concerned. The panels slotted amongst themselves until each face was a different solid color, effectively solving itself like a rubik’s cube. The face facing Caliber seemed somewhat brighter than the rest, and abruptly a face flickered onto it – a cartoonish, smiling happy face, that seemed to instantly recognize his new owner. ”Caliber! Caliber!” The … thing exclaimed. ”Brother, brother!” [OOC: This is a Rubik’s cube robot NPC; you can name it whatever you like. The inventor who created Caliber’s arms created it and it runs on teriyaki sauce just like his cyborg parts. His body turns and twists like a rubik’s cube whenever his expression changes, and he can open up the middle of his face to reveal a small cannon.] Edited by Titan, Dec 26 2009, 03:36 PM.

Naps stood quietly amid the cheerful crowd dancing and singing around him. 3 had fluttered away as soon as they entered the room. The light in his right eye flickered. "The concept behind these earthling traditions continues to prove eluding." He thought as he observed the joy and glee that surrounds him. Deep down inside Naps could feel his motor turning faster and his core temperature increasing. "The cooler must be malfunctioning." He thought, his body has never been the same after the crash. The mood suddenly darkened, a crowd gathered on the other side, gossiping amongst themselves. "… Smekekekekeke!.." Only a brief laughter could be heard coming from within the crowd, then everything was again just a blur with people talking over each other. The side Naps was on is almost empty now, his right eye flickered again. Taking miniature steps Naps slowly walked towards the bedazzling evergreen. Under it was hundreds of presents all piled together. Suddenly one box at the top toppled off with a "Chip!" . Looking up Naps could see 3 and bright yellow package rolling down the mountain of presents. They hit the ground and skid to Naps' feet. 3 hopped up almost immediately and jumped on top of Naps' s hat. Naps slowly looked down and stared straight at strange box decorated with yellow fabric, almost as if he could see right through it. And even slower he picked it up and opened it... As soon as Naps opened the box, which had been lined with lead foil on the inside, he could see a bright blue glow, feel a brilliant charge fill the air around him. At the source of the glow were three small glass cylinders, no bigger than half an inch in diameter and three inches long each. At either end of the cylinder is a golden metal cap, the top ends marked by small protruding nubs, the bottom ends bearing tiny indentations. Strung down the very middle of each tube was a tightly coiled metal fillament glowing brilliant electric blue with a powerful static charge. [OOC = These three devices are capacitors charged with the electricity of Enel himself. Naps has a compartment where he keeps capacitors for storing excess electricity to be used at a time when he runs low; these can be used to replace that capacitor. When activated, the capicitor will fill his system with the perfect, maximum amount of energy he can possibly use. This will grant him +10 to strength, speed, and accuracy for 10 posts. Afterwards, the energy is gone but it may be used and recharged like a normal capacitor.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 29 2009, 02:19 AM.

The pink haired man stared up at the enormous Christmas tree. It was so beautifully decorated and well done and he could tell by the appearance and the aura of the tree itself that it was quite beautiful before hand. the lights flashed and glowed a brilliant display of reds and green. Christmas was probably the one time of year Roland would ever get past his shallow opinions focusing on appearances, during christmas there had always been some kind of unexplained joy inside him. He looked around at all the people he'd usually keep away from and deem ugly and later steal their gifts as he didn't think they deserved them. But now, there was joy in place of that. Joy that everyone could be having fun for once a year, without a care in the world. There was a group of carolers that could be heard across the room singing "Joy to The World" they sang with the voices of angels and somehow nearly brought the man to tears. This is what Roland wanted out of his ideal world. Once he removed every ugly from this earth he planned the world to be like this. As a refreshment tray came around he took up a glass of eggnog and a couple of cookies in the shape of Christmas trees. Although the man had no idea where he was and what was going on, he didn't mind. If there was one time of the year to let loose and chill for a while it was Christmas. Roland was in a good mood until he saw the scum of this planet ruining it for everyone. It was a fishman. Roland spat. He couldn't stand their kind, especially not one as ugly as this. The creature introduced himself as Simian Brundlefly before being chased out of the room. Roland would have normally chased the man down and cut him up bit by bit for ruining the beauty of this holiday but he soon found the the orphan boy now tugging at his leg. "Don't mind him. I'm sure he means well." Roland smiled slightly and finished the rest of his eggnog. "This one's for you mister." The boy handed Roland a gift wrapped in pink wrapping paper and laced with splendid gold embroidery. Santa definitely knew Roland all too well. "Thank you little deformed child." Roland said with an unusual sweetness in his voice before proceeding to open the gift. Roland's eyes went wide with childish glee when he opened the box. Inside was a picture frame, a small bronze plaque at the bottom bevelled with the words "Most Beautiful Man Alive". Inside the picture frame, staring up at him with eyes as bright and full of wonder as Roland himself is the only man deserving of the title: Roland, himself. Taking the framed mirror out of the box to enjoy his own radiant beauty, something fell onto his lap from the backside of the pictureframe; a small switchblade handle. His curioscity giving him the power to look away from his own beautiful face, he picked up the handle and pressed the button near the top. To his glee, a flexible plastic comb flicked up into place. He gave it a try through his slick mobster hair; it was a perfect fit! [OOC: The mirror is warped in just the right ways to conceal flaws and enhance the beauty of normal human faces. Anyone who looks at it will see themselves as being much more attractive than they normally are. Naturally, though, since there is only one Most Beautiful Man in the World, Roland probably won't want anyone else looking into it. The comb has a strange, near-supernatural power. If he slicks it through his hair and says "Ey," the neck piece of broken machinery he hits with his elbow will work for a few minutes. This only works once per day per broken machine.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 29 2009, 02:39 AM.

Adrian had been in the beautifully lit room for quite some time now. He forgot how he had gotten into the room, but he was sure enough that he was there now. Adrian was enjoying himself on the seventh floor and sitting in a comfy recliner that he was laying back in. He held a cup of hot cocoa one hand and a cup of eggnog in the other. "Life is good." he said to himself with a smug smile on his face. He brought the glass of cocoa up to his lips, sipping the chocolately goodness slowly as to not burn his tongue like he did earlier. Although even his higher ups were out and enjoying their time down by the giant tree, work had never left Adrian's mind. 'How could they just let all these pirates go... some of them have the highest bounties in the blues...' he thought to himself, switching the cups and this time taking a sip of his eggnog. Adrian sighed to himself scooting his bottom back into his seat, trying to make himself feel even more comfortable. He turned his head slightly to the right, taking a gander at the gigantic tree that was in the middle of the room. It was very brightly lit, and it kind of hurt Adrian's eyes to look at such a brightly colored thing. Adrian sighed to himself, sipping from his eggnog mug once again. "If I start now, I can probably get about five people into the ship..." he said slowly to himself, sighing once more. As lazy of a person he was, he sure was thinking of work a lot. It just killed him that there were so many pirates around, and he just expected to do nothing. And as the lazy person he was, he finally accepted this fact, and did his favorite past time. Nothing. Adrian looked down onto the first floor, finding a cute girl walking through the door, and under the mistletoe. He put both mugs up to his mouth, downing both of them in an instant. "I guess it is the season." saying this, he stood up, going down the stairs to the first floor. Adrian passed the giant tree on the way to the mistletoe, noticing his name on one of the boxes. He stopped in his place, looking around slowly with an awkward look. He picked up the present quickly, looking around suspiciously. "Adrian Vigdor." he read from the tag, smiling a bit. The box was fairly large, but he had received a box in a box type of present before, so hopefully this wasn't the case. The wrapping was fairly simple, it was just a candy cane striped pattern that went went down the paper diagonally. The red of the candy cane pattern sparkled a bit, making Adrian raise an eyebrow. "Well... let's hope it's somethin' good." he said to himself with a smirk as he began to unwrap the present slowly. As soon as Adrian opened the box, he understood why it was so large; it had a full-sized human dummy in it. It moved as if it's joints were hinged, and a wide-brimmed black cowboy hat was glued to the head, a bright red mask over it's face; it had no eyes, and from it's ears hang two small golden hoops. The dummy's hands were very odd, each of the fingers replaced with blades, the black cowboy boots on the dummy's feet bearing a ridge of spikes from the toe to the shins. The entire dummy was clothed in a black denim shirt and matching jeans. Oddest of all, around the forearms, biceps, waist, thighs, and ankles were belts with sharp inch-long spikes studding them all the way around. On closer inspection, the cowboy hat's brim was bladed as well. Underneath the demin shirt, the chest appeared to be made of solid metal; the dummy itself, clothes aside, was made of wood, painted black. Diagonally, across the back of the dummy's shirt, are words stenciled in red paint in old-western style font: "Radar Love". [OOC: While fooling around the the dummy, Adrian discovers buttoned flaps underneath all the spiked belts. If the flaps are all opened and the corresponding peices of Adrian's body inserted into the gaps, with practice Adrian can control the dummy in combat, having it fight by tossing it around with his powers. Doing so lowers his speed and accuracy by 5 each, but gives him full control over a spikey red-masked black cowboy buddy. Most importantly, the entire torso of the dummy is steel-reinforced and insulated against heat and cold; if he hides his organs inside, they're very difficult to damage.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 29 2009, 03:34 AM.

Leo was sitting on a sofa, he was yawning as he scratched his left arm."What the hell am I doin' here.. Its so cold" he said to himself. In an instance he forgot about everything, screaming "HOLY SH*T! hot cocoa! sweeeeet". he rushed to a silver cart and took a cup of hot cocoa, and gulped it with one big sip. "Ahhhhhhhh....." , Leo was wiping his mouth with his sleeve. Suddenly everything felt right, Leo knew he had something he needed to do in this place. He started exploring a bit, "Butter cookies?! how can this day could possibly get any better" as he saw a cart with butter cookies and started chewing a bunch of them. Suddenly it began snowing, beautiful white pure snow, Leo was so hypnotized by it , that he didn't notice at all it is weird that it is snowing inside a room. Leo continued walking towards what he knew was his goal, he reached a huge tree, he looked up and he couldn't see it's top. it was so wide that it would take at least 7 or 8 people to surround it. It was right in front of him, what Leo knew he came for, it was a box, wrapped with many mathematical constants, functions and notations drawn on the paper wrapping. 'Leo Lair' was written on the box , Leo carefully lifted the box and inspected it. He gently opened the wrapping, looking at the gift - "Wow! this is amazing!" Leo found something that filled him with glee inside the box; a sledgehammer. It was no ordinary sledgehammer, however; it had been built with a loving respect for mathematics. It's head and shaft, even with their smoothed corners, had clearly been built exactingly to the golden ratio. On one of the broad sides of the hammer's head was a logarythmic spiral; it was not inscribed, but rather a shell had been set into the side that naturally followed this pattern. The head was steel and the shaft a very solid but lightweight bone material. Along the side of the shaft that coresponded to the embedded shell was engraved a sentence, inlaid with gold to make the words gleam brilliantly in the light: "Question the world!" [OOC= Upon inspection Leo discovers that pressing the apex of the seashell, which is actually a tone dial, causes the hammer to vibrate. This vibration produces a clear, audible humming. These vibrations are not carried by the shaft, and the normal vibrations of impact are greatly dulled (the material was likely chosen for just that quality). When the vibratting hammer's head comes into contact with most living things, the vibration carries through their body and causes them to become slightly disoriented as it disrupts their sense of balance. The effects's intensity and duration are both based on proximity of the blow to the head; any blow to the head, even a fairly soft one, is virtually guarenteed to cause the victim to fall over. Blows to the chest or shoulders cause moderate dizziness and last for roughly 5-6 seconds, strikes to the abdomen up cause mild dizziness and last for 2 seconds, whereas strikes below the waist cause virtually no effect.] Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 29 2009, 06:09 AM.

"Merry Christmas!" the jailed shouted, as they began to merrily sing and dance wherever they could. Uh, that sounded a bit messed up. Criminals, in jail due to their coldhearted crimes, celebrating Christmas? What the hell was that all about? How could you be a terrible person, but still want to celebrate a holiday? The guards were merry, and allowed the jailed to walk around freely in the dungeons, provided that they were handcuffed and completely locked in from the outside, so they wouldn't have the slightest chance to escape. Those who would try would be shot on the spot, and the merriment would be over. The guards were doing this as a special treat, so they'd had better not overstep their boundaries. "Merry Christmas, new guy." one of the prisoners said, walking into Raven's open cell. As others were cheering up and down the small corridors of this naturally small underground prison, the man sat down next to Raven. Raven had been released from his wall shackles, but even with only handcuffs on, he could still barely move. He could see, however. He saw the prisoner's smiling face, dirty and beaten. But his eyes were full of light, and that is what counted. His facial hair had grown to a great extent, and his body looked shabbier than ever, but this was no reason to be so glum today. "May I ask you something, uh..?" Raven asked the prisoner. He could not remember this man's name. Well, no one could really blame Raven, as he had only heard this man's name called once during cell inspections. And that was days ago, while Raven was half-asleep. "Sorry about that, I'm Liam." the merry man said. He looked over towards Raven, who was still just barely alive. "Ah. I'm Raven. Pleased to meet you." Raven replied courteously. The man laughed, probably not used to hearing a polite manner of greetings for a while. Well damn, how long had Liam been here? "Well yeah, you can ask me a question." Liam responded. "What's on your mind?" "Well, it doesn't make sense that criminals, who committed reckless and terrible crimes to be celebrating a holiday like Christmas, does it?" Raven asked seriously. Really now, how could they celebrate Christmas? "Well Raven, we prisoners were locked in here because of our terrible acts, yeah. But there has to be just be one day that we don't feel such terrible sadness and sorrow of our crimes and being locked in here." Liam explained. "There just has to be that one day in the year that we can at least celebrate and bring some happiness back into our lives." he added. "It's tradition, y'know?" So it was tradition, then? Well, it pretty much made sense to Raven. After all, Raven agreed that brooding three hundred sixty five days a year was not a good thing. For there to be that one day that they can at least be locked down here with a bright smile on, even for only a day, it should be fine, right? Nobody said criminals had to be stripped of their happiness when locked up. Raven's face broke in the first smile he had for a long time. It was weak, but it was still showing a sign of life from Raven, which was good, no? So Raven and Liam continued talking, until names were being called. One by one, prisoners were disappearing for a moment, and then returning, their face bright red and their eyes filled with light. "What's going on?" Raven asked. Liam would probably know as to why this was happening. "Oh, well.." Liam began. "The Marines take us out in groups of two to see the big Christmas tree in the center of town." Liam explained. "I haven't even realized that Christmas is almost over, seeing as how we're taken in the late night of the 25th, as Christmas ends, so as not to be seen by the public." he added. "It's also tradition." Raven's weak grin stayed intact, happy to see at how well this Christmas was for everyone. Eventually, it was Liam and Raven's turn. As Liam got up to leave, he noticed the unmoving Raven. "Come on.." Liam said, as he bent over to picked up Raven and carry him piggy-back style. "W-what are you doing?" Raven asked, totally surprised. "I know you can barely move, so I'm gonna take you to the tree with me." Liam answered. Raven was taken aback by the man's kindness, and was really happy to have met a wonderful a person as Liam. His smile stayed etched on his face as the two headed out with the guards to see the Christmas tree for a few moments. The outside was like a frozen tundra. There was a blizzard outside! Raven couldn't understand how people would just walk to this tree in such a cold. But Liam hadn't stopped moving, until they could see a glowing light not too far away. Desperate to escape the cold, Raven kept his thoughts on the warm surroundings of the tree, and all the delicious treats outside. But wait a second... What was going on? The entrance was blocked by two of their guards, who had moved there to make sure that neither of them entered. "What's going on?" Raven asked Liam. Surely, there was a reason for why they couldn't gain access in. "We're criminals, Raven." Liam reminded him. "This is as close to the tree we're going to get." he said. "Sucks." Raven said, but for some reason, he couldn't produce a negative emotion or feeling. The tree in front of him was magnificent. Truly a marvelous thing to see, and words couldn't do it enough justice. It stood one hundred feet tall, decorated in beautiful ornaments and decorations, and it represented a real merriment that Raven just couldn't fight against. So this was what lit up the prisoners' eyes so strongly? Wow, Raven could totally relate. "Walker D. Raven?" a sweet voice said. Raven and Liam were both shocked, looking around to see who had called Raven's name. When they looked down in front of them, they could see a rather short, sweet-looking old woman covered in a grand coat. She had the happiest face of the night, Raven could instantly judge. "Yes, ma'am?" Raven asked her. Really, what could this sweet old lady want with Raven, a criminal? Raven looked around to see where the guards were, to make sure they wouldn't harm this old lady for talking with them or something. But, as if by magic, they were not even looking. They were too busy enjoying hot cider and cookies a few feet away. "Strangely enough, there is a present for you." the old lady said, taking a small parcel and handing it to Liam, who took it in Raven's stead. "I don't know how or why, but you must've done something good to have been left a present although you're a criminal, don't you think?" she said, as she began to bobble away, returning back to the other helpers at this event. Liam hid the parcel instantly up his sleeve, to make sure nobody saw what they were just given. And as if by magic once more, the guards reappeared behind them, ready to escort them back. Raven made a face, as if to ask what Liam was doing. But Liam simply smiled. "You got a present, Raven. I can't just let you lose it." he whispered, as the two returned to the underground prison, with their face a bright red color as well, and an inextinguishable light in their eyes. Christmas truly was the merriest of holidays. Later that night, when the guards were all asleep in eggnog-fueled slumbers, Raven was woken from his pain-tainted dozing. Wincing, the young convict opened his eyes, blinking at the darkness. After a moment they adjusted, and he found himself staring at the smiling face of his holiday friend Liam. "Can't let ya forget yer present buddy," Liam told him, the light in his eye and the cheer in his voice from earlier still present. The old man handed him the tiny gift, clapping him on the shoulder and wandering off to his own side of the cell. It took Raven, in his condition, almost a full minute to open the box. He pulled off the lid, finding a very strange sight to beyond within; there was a fruit, much like a pineapple, but with purple skin and covered in spirals. He stared at the unique-looking produce for a moment, wondering why it seemed familiar to him. Though he couldn't quite place it, he was sure of two things; he was hungry, and this was food. He lifted his shaking hand to his mouth, not minding the thick, spiny rind on the fruit. A split-second before his teeth would have come down on it, it was swiped from his hand. "Watcha got here boy," another inmate asked, turning the fruit in his hand, "a snack? Dontcha know it's Christmas! This is a day to be givin', not takin." The man, without further adeu, took a big bite from the fruit. A moment later he spat what was left in his mouth onto the floor. "Whoa, that's nasty!" the man cried, tossing the rest of the fruit back to Raven. "Y'can have the rest!" He walked over the bars, leaning out of the cell and yelling to the guards. "Hey, lemme get some eggnog! I gots an awful taste in my mouth!" Raven stared at the greedy prisoner who had stolen a bite from his present, watching as he called selfishly for something to remove the foul taste that was his just rewards for such a rotten act. Just then he felt as if his eyes must be betraying him; the cell around the prisoner seemed to be getting darker. Blinking twice, the young ex-pirate saw that he was not seeing things at all; the air around that prisoner was billowing with black smoke. The man himself seemed surprised, stepping back and staring at his hands. "Well I'll be!" the prisoner cried, his voice elated. "I got me one of them devil fruity powers! I'm all dark and stuff, this must be a yami yami no mi!" The man cackled, a pool of darkness spreading from his feet across the prison floor. "I kin feel the power! I'm gunna bust outta here!" There was the sound of a gunshot, then the darkness dissapeared. The man fell to the floor, his face, twisted from that final moment of glee, turned towards Raven, a bullet between his eyes. "Quit making such a ruckus," the guard stated, holstering his gun. "Honestly, these prisoners are so noisy." Edited by The Unspeakable, Dec 27 2009, 06:39 AM.

Patti danced about excitedly as the holiday cheer filled him up inside. The lights, the tree, Patti loved this time of year, everything was so happy and festive. There was a number of foods and drinks available, of course he went straight for the punch loving a good cranberry beverage over anything else. He saw there was a number of mistletoes about and getting a giddy look in his eye he pulled out his handy hand mirror and lip gloss and graciously applied a fine layer so his lips were sparkly and beautiful, hoping that by the end of the night he'd been given a nice holiday kiss. As the music from one of his favorite ballets, the nutcracker, began to play he instinctively began to dance about in the movements befitting of the lead roll of the piece. He looked like quite the cutie all prettied up and prim his outfit composed of fashionable women's clothes and apparel, long flowing golden hair feminine features and silky smooth skin, truly there couldn't be any doubt of the fact that he was a true man. "Oh this is all so beautiful i just feel like weeping!" He cried out a single tear streaming down his eye at the beautiful festive decorations and decor. His attention was drawn to the tree where underneath he s=could spy a present that looked like it was madfe for him. It was pretty and pink and covered in ballet dancers and shoes. Could it be those special ballet shoes he had been wanting? Excitedly seeing his name on the tag he began to open up his gift with the glee befitting of a young girl hoping for designer clothes. "Oh! It's a ______, just what I was always wanted!"Patti exclaimed as he clung to his beloved gift happily. Inside the box were shiny pink new ballet shoes, just like Geo asked for 271 effin' times. A fair distance away stood a simple, slim and tall figure. Bearing a bobble hat, a leather jacket with a wool inside and a hoody underneath Paw stood with his hands in his pockets. Slowly he dragged his hand up to juggle up and down a simple roll of bandage which shun red and green with the festive lights. The cold didn't really seem to bother him. His gaze was firmly set on the massive tree what stood in the centre, a boy from Gray Island had never seen so many colours before. And so many decorations, it was truly... bizarre to him. He decided to approach the tree for investigation. Gradually the lights tinted his clothing to multiple shades, making the white appear pink and the pink appear white. With each step he took closer the writing on a red stocking become more clear: 'Penzance Paw'. "A giant sock?" Dropping the bandages which took the place of a juggling hand to the ground the doctor decided to reach out towards the strange sock-like wall piece. The fur like substance brushed along his fingers with the slight smile that his laid-back personality pulled off to perfection. Paw simply glanced to the side, grasping a clear view of the banner blessing everyone with a Merry Christmas. "Christmas...? But Christmas is grey..." The fact that multiple colours were used for Christmas rather than the dull grey decorations of Gray Island was strange to him, exciting enough for a smile but not warming enough for a grin. Grey was his home after all. Moreover, with the glance of a glorious banner the presents under the behemoth of a tree came into sight. Approaching the boxes he noticed one with a complicated ribbon on the top, stamped into the box by a paw print. A smile lit Paw's face as he pushed up the bobble hat that stood a shadow over his face. Unravelling the elaborate ribbon the rookie captain slowly lifted the colourful box up. This time he was actually excited, a colourful box on Christmas, just like the stories his mother told him on the grey dressed island. In contrast to it's rather colorful wrapping, the gift itself was rather drab. It was originally a black leather-bound tome, worn to a dark slate color from use and exposure to dust. Paw opened the book to it's first page, finding a note written on the familiar grey reycled paper from his homeland.
