So like I have no idea what's going on here, but like what was the point of this topic in the first place? I mean it's nice that you feel as though the site isn't as active as it use to be, or that things are moving to slow for you. But with that being said I feel as though I should have the right to simply walk around with a vest of grenades strapped to my chest and never have to worry about getting arrested. Now what does that have to do with anyone here? Nothing last time I checked. It's nice that you feel as though it's not active enough, and that you feel as though it's the same old same old. But this is one of those cases where we care... just not enough to honestly pretend like it's important. I've just recently rejoined after some time, and when I first joined it was as active as it is now. I mean things aren't slow or hectic to the point that I'd run about screaming "Where da peps at?" With that being said I had to wait one full day to get two characters approved, and than a day after that to enter into a worthwhile Crew/RP. You guys are like... totally not active or anything. I mean sure there's the fact that every time I get on there's a hand full of people here having fun, and when I'm off having a life that the people here respect me enough to not cry about me being inactive. But all points aside I wanted my stuff done right than and right there, so you all lose like five cool points in my book. Also, I love how like new members are popping up left and right yet for some reason it's not as active as some of us remember it to be. I think the issue is that maybe you should have thought about this before you posted the topic.
I'm wondering if I'm the only one who sees a connection between that and this...
It's like me showing up to school once every week when I was in high school, and saying why is everyone coming in late. |

There's only one way in which we lose activity: More people leaving than people joining. So we have to either make people stay or have many shit-loads of people joining. Or both. To make people stay we can: A) Improve the efficiency, which is a lot of work so no. B) Once they join we stalk them and send threat letters to their homes so they don't dare leave. We can have a team just for this. C) Act friendly. Yes I mean it. D) Behave actively - post often, everywhere, don't spam, read the rules, visit the forums often, ignore your friends, you don't need a life, they are overrated. E) But.. in the end basically all comes down to improving the system so that it is more attractive, and we are working on it right now. To make more people join we can: A) Advertise everywhere, tell your friends... B) That's basically it.. |
