Hi.

Despite the actual fact of the building being a Brothel, in reality it was actually rather a nice place to be in. It was extremely well decorated, with a sort of welcoming blend of colours and wallpapers that seemed to almost send Lucas to sleep, simply by looking at them; this lead into a rather well equipped kitchen, with shiny surfaces and stocked cupboards, which of course was about to come to good use with the man and the very appetising shark, he and Lucas had killed beforehand. Although not seeing it as of yet, Lucas expected that the upper levels of the building would be even more luxurious than the smart, well-kept downstairs, simply because... Well, upstairs was where they made the money to decorate the place like this, so logically speaking it would be in their best interests for them to keep it looking the best it could.

Though being too tired to actually do much else other than let his mind wander to ’questionable’ thoughts at that current moment in time, Lucas did actually desire to examine the entire building, just to get a better feel of the entirety of it. These thoughts however, were instantaneously replaced when Jedidaia finally made his way into the building alongside the shark that flooded his mind with oh so many wonderful thoughts; Lucas was flicking through the ways he imagined how one would cook a shark. Grilled, baked, stewed, roasted, raw... His face scrunching up slightly in a vague sense of disgust, Lucas remained fixated on the creature that the man was carrying. Oh god, please don’t let it be served raw...

There was only basically one thing in the world that Lucas wouldn’t eat, and rather oddly, it only happened to be raw fish. Just the thoughts of eating it made the man feel slightly queasy in itself, and now he had began to worry ever so slightly hoping that the man would cook the fish. “You are... Going to cook it, right?” Before he even had any time to think, the words seem to come out of his mouth of their own accord, as if his stomach was speaking for him. His smirk had vanished and for the first time that day Lucas’s face held a serious expression to it, rather than the casual, almost suave one it had possessed before-hand. “It’s just... I don’t really have a love of raw fish.” Still showing a serious expression, the man relaxed a bit, now that he had made his point.

Because of his little session of what seemed to be out of character worrying, Lucas hadn’t noticed that his cigarette had burnt out, and all he had in his mouth was the butt. Sighing slightly, he removed it from his mouth with the index and middle finger of his right hand, before slipping it into one of the pockets of his jacket; he wasn’t simply going to tarnish the room’s neatness by discarding the small, now almost brown coloured stick onto the floor. Well, for one, it was just common courtesy to treat another person’s residence better than you would treat one’s own, he was even going to be polite enough to refrain from smoking another one whilst inside the property.

Letting a miniscule yawn escape his lips, Lucas removed each of his now sheathed katana from either hip, propping them against a wall soon after. This was also immediately followed by his jacket, which he draped over the back of the sofa. Now that he no longer had any weapons or anything that seemed to insinuate that he was a pirate whatsoever, Lucas seemed almost businessman-like. His buttoned shirt tucked neatly into the smart pair of jeans, which lead down to the rather fancy looking Italian style shoes, made him seem almost like a different person than he was before. In actual fact, Lucas’s attire seemed to be similar in style to Basil’s...

Wrapping his fingers around the base of the back of his neck, Lucas ever so slowly turned his head to either side. Feeling a couple of joints pop back into place, his blasé smirk graced his lips once again, before the man slowly got to his feet, so that he was in a position to actually converse with everyone. Leaning against the wall by his elbow, making sure that he was in a position to get his katana if anything happened, Lucas’s midnight coloured globes were drawn to Basil as he introduced himself to the group. After noting something about his ‘misdemeanour’ in the East Blue, the man also introduced his pet lemur, “Howard” who didn’t seem to care about anything other than the food he was tucking into at the current moment in time. Almost salivating at the sight of the lemur feasting so greedily, Lucas just about managed to tear his eyes away from it, returning them to the group soon after.

In order to actually restrain himself and his groaning stomach from stealing the creature’s food, Lucas decided that he would introduce himself and why he was there. “Well, for one, the name’s Lucas.” He said, bowing his head in a respectful manor. “I’m on this island, because... Well basically, I’m a pirate, without a crew.” He chuckled slightly, as if mocking his own lack of a crew. “But, that’s the reason I’m here in Awestralia. I need some crew members and a ship...” Letting out a small yawn as if he had just said something completely normal, Lucas leant further against the wall, putting more and more trust in the inanimate object’s ability to keep him from falling.

Jed took out his carving knife and began to sharpen it on the nearest grinding stone. He pulled out several different groups of ingredients. Rice, seaweed, fruits, vegitables, even other meats and fish. This was going to be a meal to remember. Well now it seemed as though it was introductory time as it seemed only moments after the party of four or five if you count the lemur... had settled. The well dressed man gave the lemur some food to eat then introduced himself by the name of Basil, and his lemur by the name of Howard. Jed thought this was an odd name for an animal yet who was he to judge... The man in the red cloak came over to Jed asking him if he was going to cook the shark. Who was this man to ask if he was going to cook this catch or not!? Was he not the chef? Was this not one of his ingredients? Of course he was going to cook it! Although, shark sushi might be good as an appitizer... The man then got accustomed to the room taking off his trademark cloak and his weapons even going so far as to stop smoking another cigarette for a while. He introduced himself by the name of Lucas. Saying that he was a pirate and he was in search of a crew. This man was rather trustworthy of his new aquaintices which seemed a bit odd for a pirate, yet it was probably best for each of them to come clean about themselves while they were here...

Jed finished sharpening his cutting utensils and began to cut the skin off the shark, making sure to remove nothing but shark skin.He would save this for later. "I see we are introducing one another here so I might as well go next. My name is Jedidaia, I am a chef from the Calm Belt and I am currently in search of a crew of pirates willing to let me traverse the oceans with them. As for whats for dinner you will all get your fill soon enough." Jed said to the group as he cut the jaw bone and teeth out of the shark, also a good keepsake. He then began to cut the shark into sections, head first, then two halves of the body, and the tail. Jed pulled the fins he had cut off earlier and began to boil a pot of water, shark fin soup would be good. "It seems like you are the last to introduce yourself, comrade. So out with it what skeletons be in your closet?" Jed said to the white haired man.

Melina stalked across the boardwalk with irritation painted plainly across her face. Unlike Lucas, who had stolen a rowboat--of all things--to reach Awestralia, Melina had sneaked onto a ship bound for Awestralia, confident that she would reach the island days before Lucas. Unfortunately, midway through the ship's voyage she had been discovered when the Marines did a surprise inspection of the ship--in the middle of the frickin' ocean! She had been cast overboard and left to swim to Awestralia. That she had made it to the island alive was a pure miracle.

Now she was looking for Lucas--this was all his fault for claiming that his rowboat was large enough for two--and she was going to find that sorry sack of kelp if it took her all day. Fortunately, Melina had been tipped off by someone on the boardwalk that a man with samurai swords had been there just moments before and that he had killed a shark. Of all things! A shark! The man had been kind enough to point Melina in the direction that Lucas had been heading though, so she was sure that she was hot on his slimy, no good, dolphin-kissing trail.

Melina's face was a radiant red by the time she kicked down the kitchen door to a brothel--the third building she had invaded thus far in her search for Lucas--and saw the infuriating idiot standing there. She was still soaking wet from her long swim, but the water did nothing to cool her anger. Melina reared back and punched the wanna-be-pirate in the jaw before she started berating him for being the fool he was.

"The boat wasn't big enough, huh!?!" Melina shouted, "I got thrown overboard when I was discovered on that ship, Lucas King! Thrown overboard in the middle of the South Blue! Ask me how I got here, Lucas! ASK ME!!! I swam day and night, and here you are getting ready to get your belly filled. Did you even think to stop and wonder where I was?!? Of course not! Not the GREAT LUCAS KING! All he's worried about is being a some grand pirate! Well, guess what! You don't even have a ship! If you had a ship I wouldn't be in this situation right now. And if I wasn't in this situation you wouldn't have to wonder if I'd let you live to see the light of day again. You're lucky that I'm not going to beat you over the head with one of these frying pans, you great dolt!"

Melina seemed to realize that there were other people around, and she stopped shouting to glare at them all. "I hope there's enough food for me, and if there's not I'll be taking Lucas' portion."

Thud Thud Thud

The dull sound echoed in Isato's mind as he banged his head against the wall. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he hoped that the series of unfortunate events were all just a dream; With enough physical trauma, he will wake up in his boat filled with fish skeletons. After the twentieth bang or so, the thought quickly died, and with it the urge to drink himself into a depression rose.

As he created an evil plot that involved a the others in the room, the sound of movement caught his attention. Rubbing his forehead against the wall, he looked to the side and focused on the others in the room; or more specifically, Basil. His eyes closed into tiny slits as his gaze hardened into a glare. Instead of being filled with killing intent, this glare was simply a way for Isato to look. In a room that was dominated by silence, Isato wondered what kind of person would start introduce himself so suddenly. It was almost as if he believed they cared.

After getting an eyeful of the man, he turned around completely and pressed his back against the wall. Parting his lips slightly, he let out a sigh, dropped onto his bottom and allowed his gaze to wander around the room. Before he knew it, Isato's gaze was focused on Lucas, who seemed to be relaxed in this strange place, and what he assumed to be new environment. He had to admit though, Lucas didn't seem to be too bad as a person. If Isato looked past the dual katanas and the bad smoking habits, surely he could find a person to relate to.

To his surprise, the formerly cool Lucas spoke up and began to question the chef's abilities. Whether the food be served cooked or raw, Isato would be pleased either way. "I just hope he doesn't slip anything suspicious in my portion." he muttered with some concern. Hindsight, on the other hand, kicked Isato in the ass and reminded him just how poorly he treated the others. Looking back at it now, it was perfectly understandable if they all conspired against him. Accepting his depressing fate, he pulled his knees in towards his chest and stared at his legs.

Not long after Lucas King introduced himself, he mentioned his search for a group of pirates. "Step One?" Isato whispered with an arched eyebrow. Previously discarded memories of his grand plan became fresh in his mind, each one giving him a positive, much brighter view of the future. However, since he was still Isato Kaneda, Badass Extraordinaire, he wasn't going to express his enthusiasm. Instead, he merely picked his head up and stood at his full height.

"You wanna know a little about me?" he asked with some shock evident in his voice. Rubbing the back of his head, he rolled his words around in his mouth and spoke when he got his thoughts together. "In a nutshell, I'm your average teenage delinquent that likes to speak his mind. In addition to this, I'm pretty good when it comes to reading maps and kicking ass." With his thoughts expressed to the others, he placed both hands in their respective pockets and waited for the cooking to finish.

Just then, a loud noise from the kitchen caught Isato's attention and instantly put a frown on his face. The thought of fighting a Marine on an empty stomach was simply depressing, and since he was the only one that was truly prepared to fight, he was expected to make the first move. Cursing his misfortune, he crouched and waited for the intruder to enter his view. To his surprise, the intruder was a female that gave off so much hostility, Isato's words died in his throat. Letting out a low groan, he glanced at Basil and jerked his pointer finger at Melissa. "Am I allowed to touch the merchandise?"

Two out of three people felt that Basil's sudden introduction and inviting them into his home was a horrible idea. Placing so much trust suddenly into them like that was written all over their faces. No, it was not Basil's intention of trusting them. He just brought them along to take the more useful parts of that vibrant shark of awesome! "A pirate without a crew eh? Sounds like a horrible experience. You should probably find a good doctor first!" Howard giving a rather "I see what you did there" look to Basil as he continued eating.

"And what's better is a fisherman with such a massive frame taking on the challenges of the deep blue just to try his best at cooking what lies beneath," Basil's eyes focused on the shark when he said that. As if to say that it's going to be a longer journey for Jed than the Blues length. "When you do find a creature that we have never seen or heard of before and cook it you are just going to have to let us try it first!"

The fashion guru just had to chuckle at the supposed delinquent acting a lot tougher than he should when someone invited you into his home. "You mean to tell me that you want me to be extra careful what I say around you? Or how about hiding all the jewelry in a safe place so you don't steal it?" Basil continued to chuckle as Howard joined in while he continued to eat his food. "Relax, Mr. Badass, I invited you here so you can have some of that shark. And if you wanted to, maybe even take a look at the house's other activities," he said with a smile, "We have an amazing poker room on the other side of the house if you wanted to test your luck."

And Then Suddenly!

"Well normally, that would be up to the fair lady in question," Basil said as he crossed his legs and leaned his head on his fist trying to figure out how many more new models ,friends interesting people were going to come into his current home. A smile went across his face as he continued to watch the ensuing bitching done by the positively pissed off person with a pistol punch aimed at the perpetrators head! That person being Lucas King who, apparently, is a bastard. It was like watching the backstage of a fashion show with none of the good champagne! "But, I should probably tell you that she's not one of the girls from this house."

This is just getting more chaotic and inspirational as the day went on! Why who knows what will happen next!

Lucas’ eyebrow could only help but raise ever so slightly as Jedidaia was the next to introduce himself after Lucas and Basil respectively. Drawing his eyes to the man, Lucas listened through the entirety of his little speech about himself, the other eyebrow following in the footsteps of its adjacent brother and rising as the man stated that he was from the Calm Belt. Lucas himself had only ever heard of rumours about the Calm Belt, such as it being the breeding ground for Seakings and holding the Government’s great Gaol, which was apparently underwater or something. ”I should really start listening to people more often...”
Then! He stated that he was looking for a crew of pirates!

This, of course made Lucas rather happy indeed, as it would be obvious that he was going to try and recruit him into the just that second formed “Crown Pirates”. Ever since leaving Swift Breeze Lucas had desperately been trying to think of a name for his crew, and now after getting the boost in confidence of the fisherman saying he was searching for one, he had finally decided what to name them! The name itself had come from Howard in all honesty; the crown the small creature had perched upon its head just seemed to fit, rather strangely, what Lucas expected of a pirate. Captains apparently were also meant to name their crews after something about themselves, and as his last name did happen to be “King” it just seemed right.

Slowly deviating the blue globes away from Jedidaia, they were almost instantly drawn to Isato, who was the next to introduce himself to the rather mismatched group. The Pirate could only stifle a small laugh at how the white-haired man described himself as a “delinquent” and stated that he was good when it came to kicking ass. The part about him being able to read maps did however pique Lucas’s interest; a Navigator would be unbelievably handy when he finally got his ship, finally being the prominent word in that sentence. Still smirking, he kept his vision on the man just long enough to note him putting his hands into his pockets. Maybe that was a sign of him now feeling safe amongst the four men; out of the small rag-tag group, Isato was still the only man that Lucas seemed to not so much distrust, but rather be most wary of.

It was just at that moment that Lucas noticed a small amount movement in the peripherals of his vision. But just as he turned his head to observe it, he suddenly felt a harsh impact on the lower side of his face, before being flung a fair distance, hitting the floor with a Thud! His vision still plastered on the pristine floor his face was now hugging, many thoughts flooded into Lucas’s head about what could have just happened. Well, for one, he was definitely just punched... Maybe all the Brothels in the South Blue were connected somehow, and his reputation for the self proclaimed “running and gunning” of the places had reached here. Surely doing the dirty with a girl then somehow managing to escape the building without paying wasn’t that much of a bad thing to do, right?
”I’m sure I payed Madame Greene off though...”” The taste of iron now filling his mouth, Lucas slowly rolled over onto his back, a small: “Ouch...” Being the only thing to escape his lips.

It was then that he finally got a view of the person who had hit him rather hard just that second before... Melina Hapthasm. He had become so used to her moaning and shouting, that even then he had barely noticed her castigation of him, but still managing to take in all the important points around the flood of insults and shouting. Jolting up to a sitting position, Lucas slowly brought a thumb up, wiping line of crimson liquid from the corner of his mouth. She was a scary woman normally, but now she was furious, her overall demeanour had become even more intimidating. “Wait, wait...” Slowly getting to his feet, before brushing himself off, Lucas shot Melina a look of almost disappointment. “You were the one who said that boat was barely big enough for two! It was only because I knew how much you would bloody whine and moan yourself, that I said it wouldn’t be big enough!

His hand slowly forming a fist from within his pocket, he continued to glare at the woman. “How the hell was I meant to know that the ship was going to get inspected by marines?!” Closing his eyes for a brief second as in an attempt to calm himself, he continued. “Anyways, aren’t you Melina Hapthasm, Queen of the Thieves?! Why didn’t manage to sneak a way out of it, hey?!
If you’re sneaky enough to creep up on me and plant a fist in my face, how comes you couldn’t have stayed hidden aboard a passenger ship...
” The last sentence seemed more soothing, almost contradicting the harsh, argumentative tone that the rest of his speech held. She was probably one of the only people who could make Lucas raise his voice like that; she was so infuriating!

Letting out another audible sigh, Lucas ran his hand through his hair. In all honesty, since he had arrived at Awestralia, his mind did wander to her for a while, but he simply assumed that she had got to the island before him and was doing her own thing. Seeming much calmer now, he scooted around the woman back to his previous position where he had been standing, so that he was again next to his trusted katana. Picking up the red jacket draped over the back of the sofa, he tossed it to the dripping woman. “There, you must be freezing...” Holding a much more gentle tone to his voice now, he turned his vision to Basil. “Is there any way you can get her some new clothes..? It seems as if she’s had a rough time.

Scratching the back of his head, something seemed to snap inside the mind of the pirate. “For reference, this is the First Mate of the newly formed Crown Pirates... Melina Hapthasm.” Rather than returning to leaning against the wall, Lucas slowly fell onto the sofa that his jacket had been draped over... ”Christ... My jaw hurts.

The white haired man introduced himself to the group by the name of Mr. Badass, this guy was obviously full of himself Jed was busy at work here chopping, stirring, rolling, baking, dicing, sclicing, and generally making a banquet for the group. So far he had made shark sushi, shark fin soup, lemon grilled shark, honey glazed shark, and shrimp lo mein. The food would be ready soon and they would all have more than enough to eat for four people possibly even five...

He was just finishing up the vegetable dish when suddenly another person slammed their way into the room. She was a woman, soaking wet to the bone, she was very angry and apparently all this anger was directed towards one person, Lucas. She yealled out that her name was Melina and that she had apparently swam here halfway from Swift Breeze because Lucas didn't share his ship with her. As such Lucas recieved a very painfull trouncing and the woman stated that she, like the rest of the people in the room, was starving. "Mr. Badass" immadiately appeared to take a liking to this newcomer and even began to make advances towards her. Basil took the high rode staying calm and collected. When Lucas finally regained composure he gave his side of the story to the group, and kind of appoligizing to Melina by giving her his jacket. Lucas also mentioned that she was his first mate.

Jed found that this whole mess was extremely hilarious. "Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha, This is too funny. Little girl you have spunk, and Lucas from what I've heard you deserved that punch. Don't worry there is more than enogh food for everyone here. Also speaking of a crew Captain King. I am willing to serve under you as head chef if you need one. Speaking of food it is just about ready so everyone could just move to the dining room I'll be out with the appitizers in a minute."

"They said."

Robotic, speech that echoed around the small brothel kitchen, rebounding from each surface as very visible hoops of sound; they held a pale yellow light and wavered as they pinged around the room, some at rapid pace, others a slow ambiance. The voice was only heard when a hoop crossed through a person, regardless of where; the sheer number of them meant several repeats passed through each resident of the kitchen before they faded from view.

"Where? Where were?"

The hoops were zipping about again, their source unclear as the new sensation of hearing inflicted itself upon the human-beings inside the kitchen. A close inspection would detect that they started quite large, with each rebounding shrinking them but also multiplying the number till eventually they were simply too small to see, and apparently hear. But from where?

"Jaws of the."

The tables at the centre of the workplace burst out with another volley of O's, those used by Jed as he went about preparing his odd buffet with the various remains of the shark and pieces he had discovered in the kitchen. The repetitive melody faded with time again, a short delay before another occurred. The food was ready, but the series of vocal lights bouncing around the place were surely a good enough distraction to refrain from leave. Just yet, at least.

"So old."

There was a indistinguishable white-noise between each understandable word, spaces to be filled? A poor use of language by the source of the hearing hoops? Whatever it was. The soul brave enough to look under the tables to seek out the device or thing create the noise would have to face the wrath of the echoing, bouncing voice on full blast. At the expense of their ears, they would witness a small creature.

Humanoid by anatomy but it ended there. Its head was large, shrivelled with wrinkles and marked beneath the jaw with white streaks. It looked aged and slow, if it were human, its skin was probably long decayed considering the whithered hue of grey it radiated. Its arms and legs were thin, weed-like with fitting small hands and feet; the opposite to the pot belly popping out beneath its chest; undercarriage humanely draped in a murky rag cloth. It had an aquatic feel to it in appearance, stream-lined if one ignored its rounded belly and instead focused on the way its head, neck and back curled as one.

"No surprises."

Rather then appear from its long mouth, the vocal waves simply emerged from the large dome of the gremlin-like being, breaking into the more recognisable hoops after first collisions and scattering at many angles around the room. The sheer number of times they rebounded between table and floor before escaping into the open air suggested the pirates in the kitchen had been spared the ringing sensation so many echos could induce.

Small blacks dots opened towards any onlookers, they were towards the lower end of the large oval head, a small slit nose just between the shrimp-eyes. The long mouth didn't twitch, very little of the tiny-creatures features actually moved. It had frozen. It was not fear, but sheer curiosity.

"Too much."

-----------

Pedral the peach shark had been a good friend.

The large individual reflected on this as it held its position as a barrier between the town and bloody, broken dock. Its bulky, tall figure was draped in a dull coat which didn't suit. It held a rounded instrument in one palm, held close its mouth. It was buzzing. Ringing.

When Lucas called her abilities as a thief into question, Melina started grinding her teeth, but she kept silent. It was true that if Melina had only been slightly better she could have slipped right past those Marines. Seeing as that she wasn't and Lucas was showcasing the fact, Melina felt slightly embarrassed, but the red in her face was from an emotion of pure rage. She considered punching Lucas again--she was about to, in fact, when she heard...

"Am I allowed to touch the merchandise?"

Had he just implied that Melina worked here? At a whore house?!? Melina's eyes widened with indignity and then narrowed with contempt. Her eyes darted from the man who had asked the question to the knife that a rather big man was using to prepare food then back to the man again. The threat was silent, but it was clear. Another comment like that and Melina would butcher him like the big man had butchered that shark.

She was about to turn back to Lucas when he tossed his coat at her. Melina caught it and immediately wrapped herself in its warm folds. Oh, she knew that Lucas was trying to appease her--because otherwise he, himself, knew that he was a dead man--but an idea struck Melina at that moment. So long as she continued to act infuriated with Lucas he would try stave off his inevitable murder by attempting to please her. Not that he didn't do that most of the time anyway--he would only try harder to do it now.

“Is there any way you can get her some new clothes..? It seems as if she’s had a rough time.”

"And I'd appreciated it if it's not anything like what the tramps that work here wear. Thank you."

Melina had to admit to herself that Lucas was doing a pretty good job at saying he was 'sorry', but it wasn't good enough in her book. He would have to build a shrine to her by hand and call her "Goddess of the Waves" for the rest of ever to make up for his dumbassery.

“For reference, this is the First Mate of the newly formed Crown Pirates... Melina Hapthasm.”

Wait a minute... Had she heard that correctly? First Mate? That made her second-in-command by title, and she was already first-in-command--no matter what Lucas' title was. Well, it was good enough. Soon all of these men would find out who wore the pants in this newly formed band of pirates.

Melina nodded at the men in the room as she get a clear image of them all in her head. Her crew--Lucas' too if she let him live. The anger had dissipated by now--maybe Lucas did not how to best please her--and Melina was wearing usual cool composure.

"Nice to meet you all," Melina said as she dug a soggy piece of spearmint gum out of her pocket and popped it into her mouth, "Don't bother telling me the same. You'll regret meeting me as soon as you get on my bad side--and you will get on my bad side sooner or later, I assure you."

"Thank you," Melina replied to the large man, "And welcome aboard, Head Chef. Though I fear that if the rowboat is too small for me to squeeze into with Lucas that it will definitely be too small for you--and everyone else here. Perhaps Lucas is planning to acquire a larger vessel soon, but I've already scoped one out on my swim over here. I'll tell you all more about it at the dinner table."

Right as Melina started to walk towards the dining and incredibly loud, echoic voice was emitted from somewhere. Well, somewhere was an understatement. It appeared to be coming from everywhere at once, and it made Melina's ears hurt. The voice continued as Melina searched for the source, which wasn't apparent until she spotted a small, ugly little thing approach them.

The thing ceased all of its racket as soon as its gaze rested on the what little remained of the peach shark. Then after a moment it said, "Hello?"

Melina had no idea how to respond. Part of her wanted to stop on the little pest for agitating her with all of its noise-making. Another part of her wanted to say something, but just didn't know what to say.

"Hi," she finally said, and that was it.

Isato furrowed his eyebrows and shifted his attention to Melina. According to Basil, she wasn't actually a worker at the brothel, but merely an acquaintance of Lucas. Feeling rather foolish for blurting that out, he swallowed loudly and waited for a response. Unfortunately for Isato, Melina didn't seem to be the type that discriminated against her victims; this was made evident by her eyes glancing at the rather large knife Jed was handling. "We're so screwed."

At first, Isato believed that he would be the dominant figure on the ship, even above the Captain, Lucas. However, Melina's induction in the crew threw a giant wrench in Isato's plans. As things appeared now, it was going to be a fierce competition for the top spot. "Even if she is a girl with a temper, nothing can stop me from claiming leadership of the Crown Pira--" Isato's thoughts were cut short when he realized just how weird the name sounded. Of all the names one could come up with, why Crown?

Just as he opened his mouth to bring this to the attention of the others, Melina cut him off with an introduction of her own. Having learned much at Lucas' expense, he sealed his lips shut and pushed the question to the dark recesses of his mind. With every word that came out of her mouth, Isato's urge to knock her over and rush to the kitchen rose. Unfortunately, he had no intentions of dying today, even if it was with a full stomach. Standing at his full height once more, his unusually fast footsteps towards the table ceased when a strange sound caught his attention.

"They said."

Initially perceived as random Brothel noises, Isato ignored it and continued walking. However, this was before he was assaulted with another wave of words. "Jaws of theSo Old The overlapped phrases echoed in Isato's head and forced a scowl onto his face. "Hey! What the hell's up with this place? Keeping dead girls in the wa--" Cut off mid-sentence, Isato noticed a yellow hoop fly through the air and pass through him with little resistance.

"No surprises."

Agitated to no end, Isato clasped both hands over his ears and followed the hoops as they traveled through the air, making sure to avoid as many as he could on an empty stomach. Somewhere along the line, the voice ceased and everything slowly returned to normal. This was before he laid eyes on what looked to be a giant shrimp thing hiding under the table. All coherent thoughts went out the window and an unhealthy twitch appeared at the corner of his left eye. "Uh...Melina? Would I be right to think that you two aren't related?" he asked with some hesitation.

(sorry about this post ive been busy with college work)

Sherlock found it quite strange to see a large crowd of people in the harbour as he headed for the ship he was working on. At the centre of it were four men. One was a huge man carrying a pink shark. He took a sip from the of his juice box. He found them quite intriguing. He knew that they were pirates, which in a way was quite convenient as he was looking for a ride of the island and maybe even a crew to join. He studied them from a distance just within ear shot.

He sighed. Over hearing them he found that they also were looking for a ship or at two of them were. Then it occurred to him. He was a skilled shipwright, why didn’t he build a ship and they could help him sail it. No, that sounded like work and he wasn’t in the mood. However, there was the ship that he was working. The rich old guy would mind he stole it I mean he was rich, he could buy another. Sherlock could simply steal it; he was a pirate after all.

The Four started to move and he shadowed them. He would see what else they were up to before going and talking to them. He wasn’t sure If they trust worthy enough yet. He chuckled saw to himself as he watched them enter a brothel. Sherlock learnt out on the wall by the kitchen window and listened to every word they said. An angry woman had seemed to have joined the small group soon after a angry looking woman had stormed into the room and had punched the Man with the Katanas. Soon after some more talking something very strange began to take place inn the kitchen. Now it was going to get even more interesting. Mmmmmm apple juice.

(Short post to continue this along. School is killing me slowly right now sooo...)

Basil got up slowly as Howard basically started freaking out by the noticeable sound waves bouncing off of everywhere and disturbing his lunch. No, this was no ordinary creature and Basil wanted to be as wary as possible; especially in his home where the ladies of the house need to be safe and in one piece.

"Miss, could you back up a little bit from it. We don't exactly know what it wants yet..." As he said that he went towards his suitcase where his rapier, the Fashionista was. He didn't grab the rapier, but instead had it close by. It was better to be prepared than to be dead, but what creature didn't look like it was here for any normal reason. "In fact I think we should all back up just a smidgen."

Dream

Lucas’s eyes suddenly snapped open, blinking a few times, before taking in the view of the room around him. Although he didn’t notice this at first, the pirate soon realised how he was now positioned on the sofa he was perched on. He was sitting bolt upright, with his two arms directly out in front of him, groping an invisible pair of breasts. Blinking a few more times, it took a few seconds for Lucas to actually comprehend the overall oddness of what he was doing; all that crossed the man’s mind as he slowly brought his hands back down to his sides, was what he had been doing in the moments before hand, after all, that dream had been quite... No, very good.

Still not quite awake, from a sleep that lasted a multitude of up to a few minutes at max, Lucas stood himself up, yawning slightly. He reached over the back of the sofa in order to pick up his jacket, before remembering that he had given it to Melina as compensation for her little swim. At least his katana were still there, lifelessly resting against the wall Lucas had been leaning on a few minutes prior. Still oblivious to everything that was going on around him, Lucas slowly picked up the two blades, attaching either one to his hips with a casual yawn.
What a dream...” He muttered to himself, turning his attention to the others.

It seemed the food was nearly ready, but everyone’s attention was, for some odd reason, turned towards the underneath of a table. Blinking a few times, whilst scanning across the few, the Captain turned his eyes down to where the others had seemed to spot something of interest. To his shock, he found himself looking directly at what could only be described as... “A Shruman.” The thought hit Lucas like a bullet, and he himself didn’t even know what he meant by it at first, it was as if his subconscious was speaking to him. It was then that he realised why he had thought it; it looked like what he would expect a cross between a human and a shrimp would look like, and even though he had heard of Fishmen, he had never seen one before, so he had no idea what they would look like.

Rather than showing the suspected expression of shock, Lucas’s mouth curved up into his trademark smile; this thing wasn’t scary, and even though Lucas himself would never in any circumstances underestimate an enemy, this thing was indeed interesting to say the least. His hands falling down so that they were resting on the hilt of each katana, leading to Lucas holding his almost signature like pose; with a smirk on his face and his hands on either blade, all it lacked was the raw badassness of his red jacket dancing violently in the wind behind him, but that was Melina’s now, and it was most likely that he would never get it back.

Fishing his hand into his pocket, Lucas withdrew a small white stick, which was almost instantly followed by a match. Lighting the cigarette, the man took a long drag on it, releasing a small plume of smoke into the room almost instantly after. He let out a sigh of content, looking around the building, examining the room once again; he didn’t care about the creature, it wasn’t doing anything to harm them, and because he had been asleep, how was he to know that this creature had been the source of noise projected by them evil chickens? After all, those chickens were something his mind had come up with on its own, and it seemed only logical that the eerie, robotic voice had too.

So... Is this a regular?” He remarked, snapping his vision over to Basil, his small smirk still very visible, lighting up his face.

Jed hadn't heard anything from the group for a bit and decided to check back in with them. Just then he heard a ringing in his ears. "They said.” He shook it off and returned to checking in on the group. That is atleast carrying the appetizer... Jed picked up several plates and layed them across his arms, then grabbing the appetizer, he headed over towards the next room.

“Where? Where were?” “Jaws of the.” “So old.” The ringing in Jed's ears continued a resonating sound that was rather odd in pitch. Jed shook it off once more and continued into the room.

"Ho, everyone the food. It is ready!" Jed said as he entered the room. Then he noticed that no one was sitting at the table but rather standing around it. Jed couldn't understand why none of them were sitting down ready to eat if they had all stated they were starving. "What is more important than foo..." Jed said as he came over to the table still balancing the plates, then he saw the small shrimp/person. This may be more important than food.

I'll be ignoring that fail. And the shrimp stuff.

--

The small grey being was just as perplexed by its observers as they were of it, it was static as each individual took the idea that such an odd thing had been in the room for so long without their notice. A keen eye may have spotted that its aquatic skin was dripping, not of water but a more gory liquid; it smelt quite horribly of insides but this was mostly masked by the remains of the gutted shark carcass. The whole kitchen would have a rancid smell about it for newcomers, those present had grown accustomed to the stench without noticing. Peach sharks were not the most pleasant of animals to prepare.

Its black dot eyes seemed to dart about as people acknowledged it, tried to communicate with it or advise others on how to treat it. The long mouth's expression suggested it understood everything the larger residents of the kitchen were saying, but who could really be sure?

Its mouth clicked. A single, irritating noise created by the deformed thing opening its mouth quickly and closing just as quick, verbal communication or a habit? A row of miniature points had lined its rosy gums, quite harmless in looks. What danger could one expect by the creature and its humorous pot-belly.

Yellow blasted out from its domed head again, ricocheting in all angles as the kitchen became pin-ball machine again.

"What are-"

There was more of the intangible whining thrown into this particular visible sound, background noise turned up in volume to become noticeably more annoying. The sentence was missing a word clearly, a mistake by the short thing?

"You."

It corrected itself with a second volley of light and hoops, several tracing a path through its observers.

------

The events outside were quite informing of the likely fate of the shark-killers. They involved a particularly large and intimidating man sending clear, angered words through a small device to a rather notorious organisation. Apparently they were complying with his demands.
