A bright and sunny day on the island of Awestralia. The sea was surpirsingly calmon this day. Few ships were coming in and out of the main harbor town on the island, mostly trading vessels and merchant ships. A soft breeze rustled the trees on the island spreading the sweet sweet smell of peaches across the entire island.

Down on the docks a crowd had gathered on the side of one of the boardwalks. Surrounding a relatively large man who was busy fishing. The man's name was Jedidaia, and he was having a fantastic fight with a fish. He hadn't had one this good since he left the Calm Belt. What ever was on the other end of the line was large, definately larger than the 500lb. man who was fighting the fish. The battle between the two had gone on for atleast an hour now and it seemed that it may go on for another.

Jed wasn't oblivious to the crowd which had gathered behind him. This was usual for him. None of them probably knew about his aspiriations of being a pirate and personally he didn't care. He was trying to keep his focus on the fish as it swam under one of the nearby piers. Jed gave a heavy tug and the fish redirected its route toward the shore running towards the boardwalk. The crowd backed up a distance as a large wake formed from where the line ended. Whatever happened next Jed was either going to get this fish or it him...

As the seemingly popular man continued his struggle with the creature on the edge of the docks, just barely visible, was a very small dot of brown that for the time being seemed rather insignificant, as if simply spectating the world around it. This small dot actually happened to be a fairly miniscule boat that could barely hold one person within it; the vessel was a very basic design and had probably been made within a very short amount of time. But even though it seemed fairly unsturdy and was getting thrown from side to side, even by the smallest of waves, it was still maintain a straight course, which at its end would become apparent to be the docks on the Harbour Town located on the Island of Awestralia.

On this boat, now rather wet due to droplets of water managing to sneak over the side of the vessel when it was hit by the waves, was a fairly normal looking man; he had a lit cigarette in his mouth, even though it seemed the harsh blue around him was trying its hardest to eradicate that and located just by his feet, was a set of two katana. The man’s attire was fairly odd in the way it was usually what would be on pirate captains; draped over him, being used as a cover of sorts, was a crimson Captain’s Jacket, which seemed almost out of place on the little raft, it even had extravagant epaulettes of which contained what seemed to be a canine creature of sorts.

This man was Lucas King, the hopefully soon to be pirate Captain and man who, in his own mind, would one day would hold the esteemed title of Pirate King. The boat that he was traversing the harsh Blue was something that would probably be considered his first actual act of piracy, due to him stealing it from the docks in his home town of Swift Breeze, in order to get off of the island and live a pirate’s life for himself. Even though most people would’ve laughed at him for considering such an act piracy, he had declared war on the world government and everyone had to start from somewhere.

He had made up his mind to head for the island of Awestralia first off, but he had severely misjudged the distance that the map had given him; luckily for the man, just as he had no food for the second day running, due to the boat obviously not being able to hold many provisions, he spied a dot of land on the horizon. Hoping that this was Awestralia itself, but more interested in actually getting something to eat, Lucas had put all his effort into getting to this dot of land as quick as possible, even going so far as to use his katana as oars for a portion of the journey.

He reached the island about a day after spotting it from the point out in the ocean (he doesn’t have a telescope on him, so he had spotted the island with his own vision) and was overjoyed to find that before him was rows upon rows of a seemingly never-ending supply of peach trees. Filling his pockets with as many as he could, Lucas decided that he would stay the night there, before heading off into the actual civilised parts of the island in hopes of fulfilling is real goal and finding members for his nakama. The next day, he set out once again, but was soon caught off guard by a fairly strong wind, which blew him further out into the uninhabited part of the vast ocean.

After finally regaining his bearings, Lucas was glad that he still had sight of the island, but just about. Now wary of what to expect from the ocean and actually taking the time to try and locate himself on the map, the man headed in the direction of the island he had recently been on. He still had a few peaches on him, so even if something like what incurred previously he would still have a fair amount of nutrition to last him for about a max of two more days. Almost instantly after getting close enough back to the island to get a decent view, Lucas soon spotted a small town on the edge of the landscape and headed straight for it.

-

As the small boat neared the docks, a few people turned their attention to the now clearly visible man. Letting out a small yawn, Lucas got to his feet, draping his jacket over himself like a cloak, leaving his arms poking out from underneath its crimson glory, he slowly put one of his katana on each hip, resting his arms on them soon after. His attire underneath the coat now became visible; it was a simple choice of a cyan coloured buttoned shirt, tucked into a pair of smart looking jeans, with a tie wrapped like a scarf around his neck.

As the boat finally got close enough to the docks, Lucas hopped onto the nose, pushing himself off of it, he launched himself up onto the platform; due to the pressure just being imposed on it, the front of the small boat quickly submerged into the blue with a splash, before almost instantly returning up, the inside of it now filled with a small portion of water. All that was left inside of it was now two deserted peaches, the map and compass and an ungodly amount of cigarette butts.

Stretching himself whilst letting out another soft yawn, Lucas drew his vision from side to side, examining the crowd of people gathered around, looking at the man located a few dozen metres to his left. Turning on his heel, Lucas casually walked over to the man, his red jacket fluttering behind him. Upon reaching the now seeming to be struggling man, Lucas peered over him, looking into the ocean to see what he was fighting against. “Hm... Seems like this is gonna be a biggun, eh?

The fish was speeding up and a large fin appeared from the surface of the water. It was pink in color and very shiny, obviously a shark's fin. This was going to be interesting Jed thought to himself.

Just then a man about a foot and a half shorter than Jed. Appeared over his shoulder. The man was wearing a crimson jacket along with some rather business like atire, he was smoking a cigarette and the glint from his belt showed he was carring two swords. “Hm... Seems like this is gonna be a biggun, eh?” the man said. Jed stood up towering over the man and anyone in the crowd. He backed up as he struggled with the shark on the other end of the line. "Yeah, sure does. You might wanna stand back a bit looks like it's a jumper." Jed said to the man as he locked the line length in place and attatched the pole to a post next to them.

Just then the water erupted in a briliant wave and the shark jumped into the air. It shone pink on top and yellow-orange on the bottom. The shark was at least 7 meters long and weighed in excess of 2500 kg. It rose high into the sky with its launch before its trajectory set it headed right for Jed and the man standing next to him. Its many rows of teeth gnashing at air as it prepared to try and devour the two. "Hope you're quick with those blades, you're gonna need to be." Jed said as he pulled back his fist ready to slam it into the muzzle of the oncoming beast.

For the brief few seconds that Lucas continued to peer over the rather big looking man’s shoulder, he discreetly attempted to make note of some of the people that were looking in on them, located within the mass of people which were scattered around. He was simply trying to see if there was any marines hidden somewhere in there, because even though he hadn’t really done anything too bad, the Captain’s Jacket would most likely be a dead giveaway as to what goals he had chosen to pursue; the jacket itself was basically signifying his declaration of war against the world government.

Bobbing slowly from person to person Lucas had no luck in seeing anyone other than seemingly shocked, confused and almost scared looking civilians simply watching the rather large man struggling with something that was out of sight to them. The crowd seemed to have got marginally larger since Lucas himself had appeared, probably indicating that the small town such as this wasn’t exactly used to such strange looking people; however, Lucas was the only newcomer known to him, for all he knew, this man in front of him could’ve been a fisherman famous in the town for his good skill, after all Lucas barely knew any of the goings on outside of his hometown Swift Breeze.

Just a split second after he returned his attention back to the water below, where the mystery fish was located, the man’s struggle with the fish suddenly took another turn, as he stood up; as he did this, Lucas finally got a view of his extremely imposing height. He was easily bigger than seven foot tall and was probably in excess of five hundred pounds, but his strength seemed to be rather vast, as he backed up, still fighting with the fish. Still watching the man, he smirked slightly as he warned him about how he thought that this fish would be a jumper.

He wasn’t wrong... Almost instantly after saying those words, there was a large eruption from below, before an extremely large creature flew up into the air, its trajectory leading it so that its destination would be the two men. There was a few screams and many of the villagers let out expressions of awe and surprise as such a beast came out of the water and into plain sight. By the looks of it, it was a shark type creature, illustrated by it rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth and rather large size. The colour of it was amazing; it was a bright pink of top which fell down unto a dark yellow, almost orange looking colour at its base. Simply by looks, it seemed to be an extremely rare site.

As the man prepared himself to attack, noting to Lucas about how he would have to be fast with his blades in so that he would be able to land a hit on the shark, because by the looks of things, if this shark managed to hit its destination, it wouldn’t only take the two men with it, but a portion of the docks as well. Most of the townspeople had now retreated to a further distance, in the hopes of being able to observe the upcoming spectacle and still be able to keep their lives in the process. Lucas sighed slightly; he didn’t want to have to actually do something, after all he hadn’t had a proper meal in about a week. But then a thought revealed itself within the confines of the man’s mind, this fish itself... Was food. And by the looks of it, good food all the same.

Suddenly Lucas made his move; quickly moving himself to the side, he used his quick speed and pushing himself up off of a nearby beam, launched himself up in the direction that the beast would be heading toward; making sure that he was a going to pass to the side of it, rather than collide with it head on (he's going to pass the left side of the shark). For a split second, he stared at the encroaching creature, his eyes holding a scary amount of killing intent within them, before he quickly grabbed the hilt of the katana on his left hip with his right hand. “Shinku no Haiena...” Just as the man and the beast finally came within striking distance of one another, Lucas suddenly drew his katana delivering a powerful horizontal stroke with his blade, in the aims of putting a deep, hopefully fatal wound long the side of the beast.

There was a crash as both of the two passed each other, both reaching their intended destinations upon the docks. Lucas landing right on the edge of the docks, not even looking back to see if he had actually managed to hit the creature or not, he slowly sheathed his katana, before lighting up another cigarette.

Jed stepped to the side prepared to land a powerful punch on the shark. Just then the man standong next to him did something Jed found astonishing. Normally he was used to having long struggling battles with the fish he brought to shore as Jed would try to brutally kill his toothy opponent. However the man next to him had almost taken out one of the larger of the medium sized fish he had ever caught in a manner of a second, more or less. In one very fast and accurate move the man had side stepped the very large and colorful shark and sliced the fish nearly in half. The blood from the sharks wound flung out into the crowd covering at least a dozen people as the large fish slid to a stop on the dock. The man seathed his sword in a very samurai like manner before lighting another cigarette.

The shark was still alive though mortally wounded as it was still thrashing a bit on the walk way sending out gushes of blood in waves onto the ground. Jed sighed as he walked over to the struggleing beast. The man had done some seriously heavy damage to the shark, sclicing into the gill plate and all the way down the side of the body to the tail. Jed stepped on the fins on either side on the massive shark. The boardwalk groaned over their combined mass in one area. Raising his fist into the air, Jed took one last look into the eyes of the downed predator before landing a strong punch at the sharks back snapping its spinal chord along with a few of the planks that made up the board walk. Its eyes flickered for a moment it spasmed one more time then all movement ceased, it was dead.

Jed then took his feet off the fish and took a small book out of his pocket. On the title of the book it read, "A Fisherman's Guide to the South Blue." After flipping through a few pages Jed found a picture that matched that of the dead animal infront of him. It was an Awestrailian Peach Shark, listed as critically endangered, it is considered a crime against the World Government to catch, kill, or eat said fish, and anyone who does so will be blacklisted as a poacher. Jed found this information un-important as he looked for what it said about preparing it into food, apparently it made good soup and fish and chips.

Jed closed the book and took out his fillet knife he began to cut up the shark and place as much of its meat into his pockets as he could. He looked over to the man who had helped him out. "Hey you thar. You hungry? I'm treating." Jed said to the man as he scliced the fins off of the shark.

In the harbor on the outskirts of the town, a small boat gently rocked with the waves. If not for the knotted rope that bound it to the docks, the constant movements of the ocean would've pushed it and everything inside farther into the sea. If one were to look past the dilapidated exterior, they would find quite a sight; buried beneath the remains of small fishes and apple cores was a blanket that was wrapped in a messy bundle. Beneath this thin layer of protection lay the sleeping form of Isato Kaneda or simply Dingo the Navigator.

Times were rough for the young adventurer. Fights were a common occurrence and the feeling of hunger became something all too familiar to him. The little money he managed to rake in all went towards his boat and the repairs needed to keep it afloat. At some point in the journey, he was able to convince himself that his lack of success was a test from the afterlife; simply a series of challenges from past Pirate Kings. If he proved his worth and kept pressing on, good fortune would eventually come his way. At the very least, this mindset gave him the motivation he needed to survive.

Creeeeeeeeak

The low groan of wood pierced the blanket and reached Isato's ears, easily cutting him off mid-snore and forcing his eyes open in one fell swoop. As the seconds ticked by and his body froze, his ears strained to pick up anything out of the ordinary. If Isato missed anything back on Karate Island, it was the peaceful nights that allowed him to sleep without a care. Back then, there were no threats of Marines kicking down his door and beating him to a pulp. Oh no. Ever since his pledge to fight against the government, there hasn't been a single night where he was able to sleep properly.

"...Seems like the white-coats haven't caught onto me yet," said Isato as he choked down the feelings of paranoia. He ignored the protests of his body as he forced himself to an upright position and removed the blanket from his face. As if lying in wait for him, the harsh rays of the sun rained down on him and assaulted his eyes, earning a curse from Isato. Temporarily blinded, he carefully navigated around the obstacle course of fish bones and apple cores, grabbing a shirt with his hands. After throwing it over his head and picking up his jacket, he shakily stood at full height and hopped off the boat. With a soft thud, he landed on his toes and spun to face the small vessel.

As he stretched, Isato inhaled the salty air of the ocean and exhaled it with a yawn. The air filled his lungs and gave him the final encouraging push that he needed to start off his day. "Alright! 'As long as I have something to eat and a place to sleep, I should be able to live without the aid of a crew." Whether or not he said this aloud, he wasn't able to tell, but as he completed his thought, something finally gave in and his boat began to sink. He watched in silence as his food rations, maps and boat sank beneath the depths, noticeable only by the rope that still latched onto it's nose. If Dingo was any less of a man, surely he would be on his knees crying over his loss. However, his pride wouldn't be able to endure such a blow. Instead, he simply looked towards the heavens and mouthed, "Why?" At least the cause of the creaking was no longer a mystery.

--------

Shortly after the demise of his wooden companion, Isato concluded that the best solution to his problems was a nice round of drinks. Maybe, just maybe the emotional stress that plagued him currently was enough to get him drunk. It made sense in his mind, so he figured it was worth a shot. As he slowly approached the local pub, the excited chatter of a crowd caught his attention. Quirking a white eyebrow, he straightened his posture and stared at the growing crowd with interest. "Maybe my theory of Marines wasn't so off after all, neh?" With his excitement building, he pushed the thoughts of his ship to the back of his mind and walked towards the crowd.

Pushing through the wall of people, Isato's eyes remained fixed on what seemed to be the back of another man. The combination of his height and his large frame made it nigh impossible to miss him. In a sea of average-looking civilians, he was the one that stood out the most. "Maybe he's a street performer or something? Then again, why would he choose the harbor as his stage?" As he went over the possibilities in his mind, he freed himself from the mob of bystanders and noticed a second man with a red coat and something that used to be a shark. Coming to an abrupt halt, he silently observed them with his eyes and took note of their behavior.

The second, much shorter male with the red jacket didn't strike him as a Marine and the lack of a uniform ruled that out completely. Isato's eyes focused on his waist and tensed up slightly when he saw the katana. "Another pirate? If he's here, then there's a small chance he has a mode of transportation," he muttered under his breath. As his thoughts continued to flow, the idea of kicking the man into the ocean and stealing his boat became very appealing. All that remained was to approach him. Isato stifled a laugh and began to walk once more, doing his best to put on a fake smile.

"Someone mind telling me what the shark did to deserve this?"

((OOC: This one is going to be a bit short))

The makeshift clothing kiosk on the harbor was racking in a decent amount of money for what was going on. That and the tips that with the little lemur that thought he is was the prince of the universe making tips for just being the best little royalty he could. The huge crowd and the giant shark that just died helped a lot too, but that's just a plus. No, Basil wasn't doing too bad today, but there was something off about it. The crowd was growing more and more by the second and he wanted to close up shop and leave before it got out of hand, but he was drawn to the fish that just died.

It had... an appeal to it. The pink fin, the yellow body and the soft orange underbelly? Basil had been struck by a muse across the head quickly grabbed his grandfather's sketchbook flipping through the pages to find some notes on animal skinning or how to use animal parts for clothing. Tossing the book into the air in frustration Basil quickly walked over to get a closer look at the fish as Howard leaped and did a flip sticking his landing.

"Man the fort, Howard, I'll be back in a minute." Howard squeaking as he controlled the crowd trying to buy things with a deep glare and the aloof posture that simply went "I don't care if you buy anything, but lets be real: You Will Buy Something."

Quickly shifting through the crowd to get a closer look at the leviathan he was met by the sight of three different men. A man in a red coat and an aura of constant smoking, a large fisherman who probably fished his new ingredient to new style and what seems to be a white-haired fighter of a man asking why the other two killed the beast.

"Why isn't that obvious? They're probably hungry." Basil said trying to get a closer look at the thing. It's shiny teeth, almost ivory in nature, would make an amazing necklace or even fashionable clawed gloves! And it's skin could make a nice easy long coat if cut correctly. Oh the things he could do!

Still looking out into the vast blue stretch of rippling water that stood before him, Lucas slowly exhaled a plume of smoke from within the confines of his mouth, before finally turning back around to inspect his handiwork. He had caught the shark better than he had hoped, but he had met little to no resistance whilst making the stroke with the katana, which confused him slightly; he had passed by the shark and delivered one of his techniques, but the blade itself had passed through it like a hot knife through butter. He had originally assumed that he had just misjudged it, probably due to his lack of nutrition and only delivered a shallowly wounding blow. But he was sorely mistaken, he had basically cut the creature in half...

Smirking slightly, the red clothed man’s eyes moved over to the fisherman, watching as he finished off what Lucas had started; he was slightly intrigued at the amount of strength that the man possessed, as he was easily able to snap the poor shark’s spine with one punch. Removing his hand from the hilt of his katana, he crossed both of his arms across his chest, so that they were barely visible from underneath his extravagant crimson jacket. Thoughts and ideas were flitting around within in the confines of Lucas’s head, the most prominent one being as to how he would go about making his crew and getting Nakama.

However, his thinking session was almost instantly disturbed when the fisherman said something to him, offering him food. Lucas hadn’t noticed before from when he had been caught up in thoughts, but he now observed as the man began to cut chunks off of the shark. The pieces of meat looked so alluring, almost seeming to draw Lucas towards them even before they were cooked. So, this man was a chef? Hell, he could’ve poisoned the meat and Lucas wouldn’t have noticed at that point in time. Peaches were nice, but they weren’t exactly a proper meal and nothing in all the world was comparable to meat, especially fish.

However, a split second later Lucas’s vision was immediately torn to a newcomer. Appearing from the crowd of bystanders was a rather imposing looking man; the entirety of his attire was practically all black in colour, apart from the white shirt he was wearing underneath his leather jacket. The first thing Lucas was drawn to though, was his brilliant snow coloured hair, that matched the shirt; he had never seen such a strange coloured hair on someone that wasn’t an albino, thoughts of it being bleached came to mind, but he brushed them off because of it being too much of an off white colour and far too natural looking.

Slowly uncrossing his arms, Lucas brought them down so that each hand was resting on the hilt of the corresponding katana. This man may have been a government official; after all, if he was bold enough to step out before the two men that were standing on the docks, he was either a strong individual or someone in way over their head. Releasing another, this time smaller plume of smoke from his mouth, Lucas simply stayed firm where he was, not saying anything. If this man was a member of the Government, or even another pirate, Lucas would have to be constantly on guard in fear of an attack. When one was a pirate, they always had to be ready for anything.

But just as Lucas was about to respond, another person appeared, this one with a rather good dress sense. Even though Lucas’s first thoughts were to him being a member of the Government, simply because of his finely tailored clothing, he relaxed slightly after he answered the man for them. Lucas was glad; he wasn’t in any condition to fight, nor would he be able to achieve anything as near as he could normally. All he need at this moment in time was a decent meal and maybe a small nap. Moving his left off of the katana it was resting on, he removed the now almost burnt out cigarette out of his mouth, before flicking it into the ocean.

Tearing his vision away from the others, Lucas quickly scanned the dock, in the attempts of spotting a vessel or something that he could hopefully “Borrow Indefinitely” and use for his soon to come voyages around the Blue. Sadly however, he had no luck and brought his vision back to the two men, letting out a small yawn. "So... Anyone know where I can find a decent ship around ‘ere?” Rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand, Lucas smiled softly. The question was more directed at everyone who was there; the first thing that Lucas would need to make his crew was a ship.

Jedidaia continued his work at disemboweling the fish ripping intestines, gills, stomach, flotation bladder, and other various entrails from the large gash in the shark's side. Tossing each of the parts over the side of the boardwalk to the gathering numbers of small fish and seabirds waiting below and above. Jed had to stay on task with his work if what the book said about this creature was true. A crowd this size would obviously attract marine attention and he did not want to be here when they showed up.

Allowing his comrade in the red cloak to take care of the newcomers Jed finished up carving the shark into an easier to manage form definately decreasing the carrying load on him by a large ammount, he would probably still need help carrying the monstrosity though. As Jed looked up from his handy work he finally saw what the two newcomers looked like. One was a well toned man wearing all black, well except for the white shirt, the man's hair was brilliantly white almost as white as the shirt he was wearing. The other was another man dressed in very well tailored clothes. "I'm sure that while this conversation is important there are more pressing matters at hand. I suggest that we continue this elsewhere. Possibly somewhere where we won't have such a large crowd making us a huge bullseye to anyone in a five mile radius. As you can see I have just caught a very large, very rare fish and I would hate it if the Marines were to find out I just killed one of the most rare creatures living in the waters off this island." Jed said gruffly as he stood up to full height. "Now if one of you has a house somewhere on this rock I suggest we continue there. Also, someone mind lending a fisherman carry his catch?" Jed finished as he hoisted what was left of the fish up with great effort.

Isato shifted his weight onto his back leg and sucked his teeth as he was given a simple answer to his question. "'Cause they're hungry? Would make more sense to rob a street vendor or something, y'know?" Looking to his side, he briefly ran his eyes over the man next to him and took in his appearance. Only a few inches shorter than Isato, Basil did not seem to have anything in common with him. Based on the clothing alone, someone of his status should be out and about, walking the streets and wasting his money on luxury items; not standing here admiring a dead fish.

Picking up movement in his peripheral vision, he slowly fixed his gaze on Lucas and stared. This stare lacked the friendliness he exhibited just a moment ago and turned into something much more violent. Within seconds, his blood began to boil and brief images of the two exchanging blows flooded his mind. Isato's eyes flickered, quickly closing and opening once more, his black orbs focused on Lucas' hands. The fighter in his blood told him to act on his thoughts and dropkick the man straight into the ocean, but common sense, being the voice of reason, quickly perished the thought. "Besides, it would make more sense to take his belongings, -then- kick him into the ocean."

Parting his lips slightly, his mouth curled upwards into a smile that broke his glare and eased the tension in his shoulders. "Sorry for the starin', but it seems my poor diet has caught up to me and all that," he announced while his left hand circled in the air and fanned the hostility in another direction. While he repeated this simple motion, another thought popped into his mind and moved all others to the side. Despite it's simple nature, it had the potential to have a huge payoff.

Isato gently placed his left hand in his jacket pocket and rubbed his abdomen with his right. Pursing his lips together, he furrowed his brows and groaned. "I'm not so sure about the ship, but if I don't get something to eat, I'm gonna wither away." Isato was experiencing hunger, but nothing close to the exaggerated level he displayed. Now that the bait was set, all he needed to do was observe the others closely and wait for their move.

To his dismay, the largest of the group, Jedidaia, reminded Isato of another possibility. There was no denying the fact the four of them stood out. Isato's white hair was enough to draw attention, but with the qualities of the other men around him, they would've been better off drawing a bulls-eye on their backs. "Sunnova whore," he muttered under his breath. His left hand snaked out of his pocket and extended to the side fully, his index and thumb slapping against each other to make an audible clicking sound. "Oi, you there," he spoke while focusing on Basil. "I'm sure there's somewhere you can take us, right?"

The white haired prick dared to snap at Basil? What a jerk and if Basil was taking note on what exactly was going on he would be a little peeved too, but thankfully he wasn't. No, his attention was focused toward the peach shark. It's features would make glorious clothes, but he digressed. This moment was not the right time to be doing crazy things like making clothes right on the spot like that. So he had a bright idea!

-Meanwhile Back At the Stand- Howard was fighting off a seagull with a needle. Something along the lines of a jailhouse brawl with them circling each other. About to leap at the bird the prince stopped Mid-Swing suddenly because...

"Howard! Pack up the stuff we're going back to the inn!" He said jumping back up to his feet and walking towards his makeshift stand he quickly packed up the stuff with Howard who was trying to shoo the silly bird away. "You guys carry that thing. The inn is right down the boardwalk." He said as he was quickly carrying his Suitcase of Style; quickly moving straight towards the inn. Not exactly waiting for the others to follow.

The inn itself was in reality, a whorehouse. He was living there for free as he made sex appealing clothes for the women working the house. It helped to be good with your hands after all! "Hello Miss Sherbet! I'm going to use the kitchen for a little bit. None of the girls are working right now are there?" Basil quickly said with a smile as he was making his way back through the surprisingly classy building. "Oh it doesn't matter I'll just send them out as soon as I get in there."

He kept moving into the kitchen which was thankfully empty and fully stocked with new ingredients and utensils for all your chefing needs. It was good stuff.

Lucas slowly brought his attention to the fisherman as he spoke, in the hopes of him maybe knowing a whereabouts of a ship he could use. He was slightly disappointed however, at how Jedidaia simply seemed to either ignore or not hear his statement, saying that it would be better if they got out of plain view. It soon dawned on Lucas however, that this was probably for the best; especially when the gargantuan fisherman stated that the shark like creature him and Lucas had just killed was actually extremely rare, which meant that the Marines wouldn’t take lightly to such a creature being killed, especially for such a trivial reason as eating it.

Lighting another cigarette, barely seconds after discarding the previous, Lucas deviated his eyes away from the fisherman, flicking them back over in the direction of the two other men who had entered the scene. The first thing that he noticed was the stare that the white haired man was giving him was actually rather unnerving; it was something that gave the impression of hatred, maybe even contempt. Lucas’s glance however, almost seemed to counter Isato’s, the red coated man holding a scary amount of killing intent in his eyes, as if showing he wasn’t intimidated; this though was the way Lucas simply always looked. He had to seem evil somehow, even if he wasn’t actually the definition of the word; and the scary looks had now become second nature to him.

Exhaling another plume of smoke, the red clothed man casually ran his hand through his hair, before perching himself down in a squatting position; that attack had taken quite a toll on him and he was slowly starting to feel more and more diminished. He still wasn’t sure whether Isato and Basil m were members of the government or not; he had most definitely counted out Jedidaia, simply because of the whole fish incident. These other two however, were a rather different story; Isato seemed to hold a grudge against Lucas for some unknown reason, and the other, much less imposing man seemed to have an extremely fine taste in things. But on these seas, there were all kinds of strange people, and it was true that the marines were nearly always in uniform, even the higher ups.

Smirking ever so slightly, he watched as Isato seemed to break the tension, stating that his hunger was causing the rather odd staring, whilst making a hand gesture which backed it up. This could simply be an act you know... Something clicked in Lucas’s head, the way the snow haired man had simply changed from the seeming show of hostility to Lucas, to quickly trying to brush it away as if it was nothing was indeed rather odd. Lucas wasn’t fussed however, he would take this man on face value, accepting that he wasn’t a threat; he was however going to remain firmly on guard, for anything that may happen, whether it be to do with fighting or not. It was always better to be prepared.

Still observing, one of the man’s eyebrows raised as Isato, rather rudely tried to get the attention of the other man by clicking his fingers, before speaking to him; it did however seem most logical that Basil would be the one with the place to go to, simply by looks. But, even though Basil seemed to be offended, it seemed to work, as he turned on his heel, before walking off. Raising both of his eyebrows, Lucas started to follow them. “You’re a strong guy.” He called over to Jedidaia. “I’m sure you’ll be able to cope somehow.” Even though he did feel partially responsible for the fish, he was far too lazy to carry the bloody thing. If it had been smaller, the just maybe.

Following Basil, Lucas took note of the man’s pet Lemur that appeared to be fighting a seagull, before the smartly dressed gentleman seemed to end the squabble by ordering the creature to pack the things up from their seemingly makeshift stall. After a short period of walking behind Basil they arrived at what seemed to be a rather fancy looking inn, which seemed to suit Basil’s sense of style. However... After Basil’s words after entering the building, it soon became apparent to be a Brothel; well it seemed only logical, the well decorated the rooms, lack of people and overall sort of feel it had to it, just made it feel like a place of the dirty deed. But of course, he could have been wrong. Though with these kinds of matters, he had the habit of usually being right.

Perching himself down on a comfy looking sofa, Lucas took in another drag on his ever faltering cigarette. “So, nice place you got here...” He remarked, stifling a laugh.

(OOC: Although Lucas doesn't know your names yet, it's just easier if I say them in the narrative.)

Jed seemed to be the most... ignored of the entire group, the others needing only to address him when he needed to be addressed. It seemed as though there was some kind of disdain between the swordsman and the white haired man, although Jed couldn't immagine why. Maybe the white haired man had something against smokers. Who could guess? However there was one thing clear about all four of the men there they were all quite famished. And they were soon headed off to find a place to hide out from the marines.

It seemed that no one wanted to help him carry the large chuck of fish which he was lugging behind him, the man in the red cloak even went so far as to tell him off about it. And while he was capable of moving such a large mass across the short distance in a relatively short time it was still rather difficult for him as he needed to go so far as to put some of his weight into moving said fish.

He followed the three characters for a distance before they came amongst a makeshift stand where a small strange looking monky thing... a lemur thats it. Was dueling a seagull to the death with what appeared to be a sewing needle. The well dressed man addressed the lemur telling him to pack up the shop and head out. Apparently the lemur was the man's pet or something. The well dressed man then led the group to what at first appeared to be an inn. However once the door to the establishment opened it was quite clear that this was no inn. A smell of smoke wafted out of the place like an aura which you would expect to smell from the man in the red cloak. While the halls and entrence area seemed rather normal there was something disturbing about the whole place itself. The aura of the whole building yelled that it was a place for the blackening of one's soul by the dirty deed.

After a hard time of getting the fish through the front door Jed followed the well dressed man into the kitchen. And what a kitchen it was beautifull cutlery linned the racks above the stove and chopping areas, spices of all kinds lined its many shelves, some even from exotic places, all kinds of produce were avaliable for a chef to use. "Hmmph," Jad huffed to the man, " nice kitchen this place has compared to the rest of the building. Place must have alot of customers." Jed hauled the shark up onto a counter top and prepared to get to work on making dinner. This thing could probably feed the whole house tonight...

A smile tugged at Isato's lips as his actions gave him the desired results. From what he could gather, Basil wasn't happy about Isato's approach, but he complied anyway. "Rude, yet very effective."He mentally commented with a small grin. Despite the incredible amounts of improvisation on his part, Isato's plan seemed to be coming along really well. Even if the others were able to see through his "hunger act", there was still a small chance that they didn't realize it was a hoax.

Looking over his shoulder, his black orbs moved to the side and caught a glimpse of Jedidaia. Actually, with the feeling of hunger that lurked in his torso, his eyes seemed glued to the mutilated shark on the man's back. His eyes flickered quickly, effectively severing the mesmerizing effect of the shark and killing any mental imagery of shark-related dishes. He stuffed his hands in their respective pants pockets and shrugged coolly, his eyes now focused on Basil's back and the path he walked along. "Everything tastes better when you don't have to work for it." he muttered whilst following the sharply dressed male.

Before long, the group walked by a stand where a fierce battle was about to take place. In a nutshell, a lemur named Howard faced off against a seagull in a battle that had the potential to rock the soul of all witnesses. Unfortunately, Isato was cheated out of the spectacle when Basil told the Lemur to pack up and instructed everyone else to continue to the inn. Isato's eyebrow raised in a white arc as his curiosity began to rise. As far as hiding spots go, wouldn't an inn be rather...obvious? With his gaze on the floor and his head in the clouds, he absentmindedly followed the group and tried to think of clever ways to insult Basil.

"Y'know," he began with his eyes still on the ground. "I'm beginning to think that this is some kind of set...up?" With no warning, Isato's words awkwardly rolled off his tongue and were left to linger in the air. Ignoring the wall of smoke that tried so desperately to suffocate him, the vibes that he got from this place were a bit overwhelming. Maybe it was the well-furnished environment that was a little too nice for your average inn, or the girls that seemed to be off duty; Something just didn't feel right in Isato's bones.

After what felt like an eternity, Isato was hit with a wave of common sense. In the span of a few seconds, Isato's eyes flickered from joy to anger. Like any healthy teenager, the idea of walking in a Brothel was really appealing. On the flip side of things, a Brothel with no time to spare for questionable activities was rather useless. Forcibly squeezing his eyes shut, Isato nodded repeatedly and desperately fought the urge to choke the life out of Basil. Running a hand through his hair, he sucked in another breath and pressed his forehead against the wall, letting out a small groan occasionally. With his plan on hiatus and his stomach's complaints falling on deaf ears, Isato's imagination went to work and created amusing images of some potential workers at the establishment.

"Can't respect those that have little respect for themselves." he noted dully with another smile tugging at his mouth.

"Yea, it's a nice place when you get used to it." Basil said as he pulled out some of Howard's food from the suitcase and fed it to the little prince who ate it with joy. The poor thing was probably famished from being up that early to try to sell clothes on the docks.

Basil sat on the chair and looked around at the new faces in the kitchen of Miss Sherbet's house and didn't even know their names. He needed to fix that now!

"Well I'm Basil, I've been living here for a bit after my small run in with a giant guy with a long furry coat who wanted to stab me in the East Blue. Something about stealing his costumers from him or something." He quickly scanned around the room to try to figure out who actually cared and why they followed. "And this is Howard, he probably won't care for you guys much." Just as he was saying that Howard just waved his hand in an uncaring manner and continued to eat.

"Who ever is cooking can use everything in here they need, but each one of you should probably introduce yourselves. It's only right to know who is going to be a mod- eat dinner with the inn staff and me," said Basil with a big smile on his face.
