The wind blew through Firo’s wild black hair as he lay in the lifeboat, half in a daze and still, mostly in an unconscious state. The vibrant sky seemed like a sapphire sea hoisting the the fluffy clouds high above the ground and more than just background today. The light clouds drifted by carelessly like always, something Firo envied and part of the reason he became a pirate was to gain that freedom. The sun sat on the clouds and seemed to be a ghostly ship flying through an albino sea. The sky was radiating pure beauty and glory right now and it was a beautiful sight to behold. Why couldn’t he wake up to see it right now, was it his injuries? Maybe his pride, but all of that seemed like a strange thing for him to worry about and with his loss having taught him a few tricks that couldn’t be it. His body pushed to its limit in the last battle, he was surprised how long he fought for actually, he’s definitely grown quite well. From the old skirt chaser he was Firo has actually became somewhat talented fighter and when a true fighter goes down in battle, it is the easiest for said person to learn about themself. His will began to empower his body, as his mind began to focus on nothing but getting up and this made his body twitch a little. Simplest form of Mind over matter for him and something every fighter has to do, believe they can go on no matter the injury and trust in their physical power. The sun seemed to kiss Firo's skin in its attempt to tan him while he lay beneath its golden glory. As his eyes slid open slowly and the sun prepared a harsh welcome, stinging his eyes and forcing a small grunt to escape his lips. Slowly everything was blinked into existence and he was able to see once more, looking at his crewmates with a dazed stare. ”Dang....how long have i been out?” he groaned while he lifted his tired body into a better and more relaxed position. He ached all over yet his mind had never been so clear, what he currently lacked physically he had mentally, but that wasn’t enough for another fight at the moment. |

Zash was in his full lizard form and was innately pleased to sit in the sun.It was a primal urge but understandable.He turned to see Firo waking up from his 'nap' and couldn't resist the urge to have some fun with him as he did so.He turned to Firo with bulging eyes still in Lizard form and began to speak. "Not to long! I mean four years." Zash turned into his human form and hunched over ruining his one chance for a laugh on this boat and he dipped one hand into the sea feeling the water move past him feeling at ease with his natural enemy.He started to relax. |

Tony had been paddling for quite a while now and was exhausted, that added to his wounds still bleeding lightly, gave him the perfect excuse to stop doing it. Letting the paddles go, he leaned backwards to rest for a bit, however at the same time Firo was waking up, which made him quite happy. What he had to do in Aokuchi was still fresh in his mind and had been haunting him for the last hours. After thinking a lot about it, he wasn't quite sure if it was the best option to let his comrades behind and was now beginning to regretting it. Still, now that Firo was conscious they could at least talk about what to do next. "Oh, finally awake uh? Well, when i got to you, you were already KO so i dont know how much time you stayed that way but, like Zash said, not too much but sometime for sure" Putting his arms behind his head to rest, he continued "So...what now...im no navigator, Axl is and unfortunately he got behind....I hope they are ok...By the way, what happened to you Firo, why do you look like crap?" Meanwhile at the horizon line, a ship shape could be seen approaching the small boat. The three however didn't noticed it and so, continued to speak and fool around. |

4 years? Really? Was that the best he could come up with? Firo shook his head left to right and let his hair flash around for a little and decided not to comment on Zash's words. it wasn't the best thing to insult someone who was in perfect condition when he, himself was so badly beaten up. The sharpnel wounds burned and his muscles already ached, this wasn't the time to anger Zash or the captain. Maybe a little later, some time when his spinal cord could properly bend and pieces of metal weren't sticking from his sides and various wounds. He was in pretty rough shape and he was okay with the fact his captain asked what happened. "Well..." He began, " I ran into a marine i beat up in the past, guess he didn't like i beat him up and he sure did get his revenge." Firo explained as he felt blood leaking down his wounds and onto his tattered suit. He needed to fix the coat and his wounds by the time he got back to land, he couldn't let the ladies see him like this. Though something else sat on his mind aside from the ladies, it was the way Gobu fought against him, the shockwaves, the bombs and the sword, how was he suppose to fight against that. "He used a sword...but he can attack from a distance, he explained it...he said he cut so fast the air was sliced open, because the air rushed in to fill the gap so quick shockwave was formed...He also fought with small bombs, mines and the sword of course worked close range, i didn't know how to fight against him...I was useless captain..." |

Leopold began chuckling and then burst out plainly laughing "Yahahaha! Don't worry about it skirtchaser-san! If speed is what made the sword create shock waves then you better start kicking fast enough to make tornadoes!" Leopold wished he had a real battle like that, one that would let him learn what his real limits were with his fruit.He decided in a dark situation like this optimism couldn't possibly hurt. He let out a sigh and began to speak more relaxed."Well captain, do you have any ideas? I don't want to give the ocean a hug today..." while optimism was nice, getting out of this situation is by far much better for the group than smiling to death. |

After listening to Firo story he finally understood the reason behind his current status, he had been defeated. Defeat was nothing to be ashamed of though, Tony himself faced it many times specially when he was younger, while facing experienced fighter back at his hometown, and at that time each one of them taught him different lessons, so this one wouldn't not be different to Firo. As captain it was his job to keep the crew's moral up so, it was time to comfort him. "Dont be silly, defeat is nothing more than another word to say lesson. Today we all lost, some more than others but in the end we also learned something. For instance, you learned your limit and so, i hope you now try to improve it, surpassing yourself everyday. That's what i do. I suffered many defeats and yet i didn't give up at all, its life! Sometimes we cant win because we weren't prepared. Im sure it wont happen again if you give everything." Leaning forward into a seated position, Tony then patted his mate on the back, shaking him lightly to give him some comfort and confidence. He wasn't sure if it worked but this was a similar speech to what his father once gave him and for him, it worked. Now that he was seating, he took the opportunity to observe the sea, only to find the shape of a large ship coming towards them. At first he was kind of stunned but then, he slowly recovered and started to hit his his crew mates with his hands to have their attention. Pure luck or not, they were probably safe now. "Guys, start yelling and waving. This might be our only chance to get rescued!" |

Leopold got up from his seat and began yelling at the ship not wanting to get stuck out in the sea due to his fruit.He started waving both arms like a madman at the ship to get their attention."Oi!~ Help us! Save us damsels in distress!" he didn't care about his honor as much as he cared about his life.He was panicy at the chance of getting onto 'land' in a sense. |

The large ship began to slowly approach their tiny lifeboat. The yelling and waving were a success and some figures could be seen up there in the foreign ship deck. Apparently, it was a civilian ship so it would be wise to not raise any suspicion about their true nature. Turning at both of them, he quickly unfolded the plan he just conceived. "Ok, it looks like its a simple civilian ship, however it probably holds some marines to prevent attacks. In other words, we must remain under their radar and keep ourselves as common civilians as we are in no condition to fight again." The young captain then paused his speech in order to come up with a convincing story for them. Giving the situation, it was obviously the best choice to act as survivors from a shipwreck, maybe attacked by pirates or something like that... Tony gave the matter a bit more of time and then, once he had all covered up, he finally told the rest to his companions. "Now, we will act as survivors from a shipwreck. Our ship was attacked by pirates and we were the only ones to survive the slaughter. We are part of an expedition in search of new islands, this way we can explain why we look like fighters. Also, we need new names...From now on i'll be Kasper Von Boldenberg, son to the head of the expedition, Dr. Albert Von Boldenberg a famous explorer from the South. What about you Zash?" His plan however had some flaws, like the name of the person in command, if that person really existed and someone on the ship knew him, they would be quickly discovered. |

Leopold looked up at the ship examining it's workmanship, simply because he was a man who found beauty in these sort of things before turning to Anthony.He tapped his chin as he thought for a moment then spoke. "I'll be your pet lizard, Leo.If they ask what happened the man who was waving, it was Firo." He figured the lack of a necessary storyline would help prevent any issues relating to it and it wouldn't be suspiscous if Anthony began speaking to his pet.Leopold went into his lizard form and crawled onto Anthony's back. "Just play along..." |

"Very well.." The ship had finally reached them and already sent a rope ladder so they could climb up. Catching it, Tony was the first to go up and reach their deck. People exclaimed upon his arrival, clearly impressed by both his stature and his current state, after all, he was all covered in bandages and some were even bloody. Though, they weren't the only ones surprised. As Tony looked around he couldn't avoid to let down a weak "what the..." as he noticed all the passengers present were dressed in a fancy way. Tuxedos, fancy dresses, jewelry, expensive accessories....wh were they? Like an answer to his thought, a man dressed similar to a marine approached and presented himself. "Im Hilarious Calied, captain of this cruise ship, Fairy Land. Are you okay? You look injured! Please, let me escort you to our infirmary so the doctors can help you out. It must have been quite a disaster! The sea has been violent lately.....please follow me." In the end, it turned out to be more simple than he expected. |

Leopold leaned over to Tony's ear, "You know these guys must have a nice bit of money on 'em huh?" he spoke with ambition and a hint of greed in his voice.If they managed to heal up and mutiny the ship they would be bad guests yes, but richer with a boat to go with it.One guest looked at Leopold strangely and asked Tony "Did your lizard talk?". Leopold looked at the man with an empty stare like an animal would sticking out his tongue every now and then. |

To hear a lizard speaking was, at least, odd, very odd, still he was getting used to it. Nonetheless, what Zash said was in fact true however it was not the best time to think about that, first they had to blend in and gain some trust, so Tony simply replied at him with "Later". Though, the moment he looked to his side he noticed someone was looking at him with an intrigued expression. Did he heard him? Damn...did we get busted so soon? The question that came afterwards only troubled the pirate captain even more. Oh crap...what should i say? Think....think! "Hum? Ah..yes, im practicing....im a ventriloquist...Eh...i used to have a show....for our crew...in our boat and all. We can say i was quite good..eheh. Anyway...i have to go now. See you around..." Tony was sweating heavily but hopefully that man didn't noticed a thing. To come up with such a bad excuse....he was doomed for sure. Though, everything seemed to be over now and the man would probably forget about it in a matter of minutes. At least thats what he thought. "Oh, excuse me, Sir? A ventriloquist? Thats quite nice! Could we see a show or something? Maybe tonight if you are feeling better, of course. We can even pay you if you want. People here loveee shows you know and a ventriloquism show would be quite amusing! So, what do you think?" The moment the man spoke made the young captain feel like he was struck by a lighting bolt. Slowly turning around while trying to come up with a genuine smile, which looked more like a wicked man's grin, he nodded to the man in acceptance and quickly got inside the medical room before he could screw things even more, not even letting the fancy man finish his sentence. "Great i guess its---a deal?" Inside the room were a doctor and a nurse that quickly began treating him. All his bandages were removed and his wounds stitched again and/or cleaned. Some had healed already so, there was no need to keep the bandages. Also, according to the doctor, his ribs where almost healed meaning that in a couple of days he would be all good, except for the wound he got on his abdomen. The previous stitches were all ripped off by Yama and that only worsened its state, more time would be needed to heal but at least the blood loss was taken care of. In the end, only the bandages on his abdomen and left forearm, where a deep cut was still healing, remained and the pain was now close to nothing. The doctor also advised him to get something to cover his torso, it wasn't appropriate to walk around half naked in that ship. To cover that out, they gave him a blue shirt with yellow flowers which didn't match Tony's style at all. That failed choice annoyed him a bit as he was now forced to use such horrendous piece of clothing. With all set, he exited the room and walked back to the deck where the previously the crowd gathered to see their arrival, the people however had long left now. It was a perfect time to talk again with Zash. "Gosh, we are screwed. i guess you heard me back there...ventriloquism...im such an idiot! And now we have a show to do, i just hope they forget about it." Approaching the edge of the deck, he rested his arms over it and observed the sea like he was trying to see over the horizon line. "I hope they are ok..." |

Leopold was fair to saw, curious about how Anthony would cover up his speaking to the people and upon hearing his excuse he struggled to hold in laughter and to keep a straight face.He continued to stare at the rich man blankly like one might expect from a lizard.Even more was his facade difficult to maintain when he asked for a show.As Anthony smiled he too put on a smile just for the sake of it despite a smiling lizard is a strange site. As Anthony was recieving medical attention Leopold waited on a strecher nearby and took this time to think.He began to think of where they go, what he would do and how he would do it.He also found some humor in Anthony's new shirt.It seemed to him that the people on this ship are gluttons for punishment, metaphorically speaking of course. As they went on deck Leopold heard Anthony's words and chuckled, "A show is least of our worries all you need to do is sit there and hold a conversation with me." He too was a little worried about the others, but was confident in their abilities that they would be able to survive. |

"...i guess you're right..." He wasn't still convinced though, it would be very bad for them to be discovered so soon. However, he accepted to do this, he hadn't much choice too, but in the end he hoped everything would be alright. Turning around to face the deck, he wondered what should they do for the show. It was slowly getting darker and soon it would be nigh, which meant time for the show. A simple talk? Some comical play? A scary story? The possibilities were vast but, now that he committed himself to this, he wanted to make it the best he could, after all this would strengthen his relation within the ship and make their undercover job easier. Scratching his head in search of any ideas, he turned his head to the small lizard hoping he would help him out. The show both responsibility, they had to plan things out. "So...any ideas? We can do many things but..something original would be cool. Something that surprised the audience, stunned them with awesomeness....Get it?" |

Leopold chuckled to himself and began to think briefly.He figured they wouldn't have to worry about the things a normal puppeteer would as Anthony requires no skill to pull this stunt off.He began to think of a comedy show as being the best idea for the moment.Serious rich folks like those on this ship would most likely need something to lighten their ever so complex social lives.Finally he turned back to Anthony.
