OK! This is now one of our top priority! We need to sort out the old islands, there's no need to restore them to what it was before, just treat them as if you are making new islands. Of course you can create original islands too! And remember you are not only restricted to islands in the 4 blues, islands for the Grand Line, Red Line, Calm Belt are welcome too. Post your Ideas here and if an island you made is accepted you can receive 1 SD to one of your characters, to a max of 5 per account. Use the following code when posting:
Name of Island: self-explanatory Location of Island: N.E.S.W. Blue or the Grand Line?? General Information: A few sentences about the island as a whole. Shape of Island/Map: Forget about Maps for now unless you really want to, just the shape of the island for now. Weather: Feel free to be creative Description: For every significant place on the island copy-paste the following code. This includes towns, villages, small forest, or even just small house of of some hermit in a mountain. Name Name of place Location Where on the island is it? Description Be as detailed as possible. NPC: You do not have to create the NPC just yet, but list what NPCs you would want. Like maybe a hermit in the mountains or a monster lurking the forests, a shopkeeper, etc. Current 'canon' Islands that needs description: East Blue Organ Island Conomi Island Shimotsuki Village Mirrorball island Kieldonia Loguetown North Blue Ketsuraku Island Torino Island Bausyer Island Lyneel West Blue Ilusia Gilligan's Island Karaoke Island Wild Wild West Red Sand Island Gunsmoke Island South Blue Briss Kingdom United Teriyaki States South Amerigo Awestralia Shadow Mose Island Byougami Island Calm Belt Amazon Lily Impel Down Red Line Reverse Mountain Mariejois Fishman Island Edited by SwingStyle, Sep 1 2009, 04:00 PM.

I went overboard, with the whole temple thing, perhaps this version of the island would be better suited for the Grand Line. Ah well. Here you go. I haven't made any NPCs, yet. Though. I'll be working on those soon enough. Name of Island: Wild West Island Location of Island: West Blue General Information: Wild West Island, as it is called, is a very crime heavy island. Being ruled by pirates, and local thugs. As such, it is a popular haven for pirates journeying the West Blue, as it is relatively safe for them. As a result, the island is a common target for bounty hunters, as the biggest and the baddest of the West Blue call this island their home. The island is mostly desert, and rather large. The island is covered in several small villages. Though they’re all fairly spread out, and communicate via messengers on horse back. The island has a bit of an mysterious history, with many scholars wishing to uncover it, though many seek intellectual treasure, many go in search of Chalchiuhtlicue, looking for material treasure. Shape of Island/Map: A cowboy hat, with the center mesa acting as a crown. Weather: Dry, very little rain. Hot summers, warm winters. Dust/sand storms are common. Description: Location Skull bound mesa (Center) Description Center. Acting like mountains, there is a bit of a mesa chain, with varying heights and thickness. In the center is the “Crown” of the island, a tall mesa, in the middle of nowhere. Getting up said mesa is a bit of a hassle. It’s rather steep, and the sandstone making up the outer area isn’t too strong, often braking off and having those who climb falling to a deadly fate. Location Chalchiuhtlicue (Top/inside of Skull Bound Mesa.) Description If someone was to reach to top of Skull Bound, they would see a small Axtec style temple. Though nothing like the sprawling pyramids of our Mexico. It resembles a shack with two Aztec dragons in each of the top corners of the door. Though if someone was to go through the door, they would find themselves going deep inside of the mesa itself. A maze of sorts, filled with traps(Closing wall spikes, platform jumping, fire breathing statues, boulders coming out and chasing the group), skeletons around each corner. Many come to this temple in search of a treasure. Many a pirate has died within the walls, many wander lost for years. The existence of the actual treasure is unknown, many Wild West Town natives go as far to question the existence of the temple itself. Location St. Louie(West coast of the island) Description The largest town of the island. Home to the island’s only living sheriff, a small dock, an inn, a bar, a single cell jail and all the stuff from a spaghetti western town. Though this island is the only place pirates would even a little trouble, due to the old, gruff, strict sheriff. Location Little Water(West center of the island, close to Skull Bound island) Description A town resembling a native classical American village. The people of this town are neutral. They are simply folk who’ve given up on modern technology, and wish to live a simpler life. Location Raven Wood(North, not near the coast.) Description A small classical Mexican style, village. With no actual form of law enforcement. This town is the before mentioned haven for pirates. Location Ghost Towns (Scattered all over the east side.) Description Ruined towns. Many of these towns were destroyed by pirates, as parts of raids, considering the island as never had much to defend itself. For now, these towns are filled with raiders, who often wait for passing foreigners. NPC: [WIP] -Old Sheriff/Barkeep/Innkeeper Wolff "Work till they put me in my grave!"- -Some crazy old man who has been lost in Chalchiuhtlicue, for like 60 years.- -Wise, chief- |

Well, time to have some fun and bring forth my ideas. Someone needs to fill grand line. Name of Island: Greensland Location of Island:South Blue General Information: Greensland is what most would be considered a farmer's paradise. Fertile soil, great weather and proper climate makes it one of the main providers of veggies for the entire world. Children across the world despise this place and is the arch rival of Candy Island. Shape of Island/Map: Greensland is a shape of a head of cabbage with a few pea shaped islands around it. Weather: Rather good plant growing weather. Rains just enough for plants. Description: LocationSweet Pea Stones.(the various pea mini islands) Description The home to many of the small private farms held by richer families. Since they are isolated, thieves have a harder time getting into them. They tend to have various delicious veggies due to the much stronger soil compared to the main island. LocationFarmer's Emporium(center of the cabbage) Description The holy land of all farmers markets, this place has become a city of greens. Rare veggies are treated like gold and silver here as families of farmers compete to have their food bought and acknowledge by various groups. Cooks and people studying plants should come here before heading out to get the seeds and veggies for a long journey. Location The 1000 farming states.(the entire cabbage other than the center) Description Like a feuding country, the various farms on the island each fight to prove their superiority in veggies. It's not uncommon for some families to focus on one type of veggie and try to perfect it. As they fight for land and secrets, it's not uncommon for people to ask for help. NPC: The island is teeming with farmers. Many of which are well toned and strong bodied or even retired marines and pirates. Stealing veggies from some of the tougher states or the pea islands may be a bit too difficult for beginners. Name of Island: Stern Rock Island Location of Island:Grand Line General Information:A island known for a rather rocky outlook on life, everything on this summer island is stern and intimidating. The various rock statues have stern gazes to intimidate intruders, and the people are known to not be intimidated or back down from anything. To say the least, the people are set in stone just like the rock faces. Shape of Island/Map: Circle with a serious face. Weather: Summer island with scorching, unrelenting heat. Description: Location Travelling Camps.(all over the island) Description The inhabitants tend to wander around the island to where the animals eat and sleep. Since this makes finding them hard, smoke tends to tell when a camp is nearby. The people are rather intimidating, but alot nicer than one thinks. Just, don't try to change their minds. Location Mount Sureous Bishnest(mouth on the serious face) Description A large intimidating mountain with a face that would make giants weak knee'd. Meant as a warning for those who cause problem, the mountain is as dangerous as it is big. It's wise to have a guide for the higher parts where the terrain gets harder. Named after the first chief of the island. NPC: A very serious chief with a very serious cat. All inhabitants have serious faces. Even the babies. |

Name of Island: Mine Island Location of Island: Calm Belt General Information: Very Barren island, heat unbearable from lack of wind. Many mines and caves cover top part, mine shafts go under ground to small cavern where most people live. Shape of Island/Map: Football Weather: Very hot, little to no moisture. Description: Location: Steel Render - Middle of Cavern Description: Run by an old man who's body is hardened like the metal itself from years of pounding steel. They say as he works the strikes from the hammer make music throughout the cavern. This is a smithy where many metals are practiced and many weapons can be made. NPC: Silver Hammerhymn Location: The Potion Cave - East side of Cavern Description: The old lady that runs this shop, opened it up in a small cave near the eastern side of town. It smells quite bad as she usually has some broth or other brewing and spewing from the pot. Here cures for certain illnesses can be obtained from the many kinds of mold growing inside the cavern. NPC: Some old lady draped in purple cloth. Location: Market - Middle of Cavern Description: This is where most regular foods and things can be bought, but for outrageous prices! Most of the food must be brought in from outside the island by marine ships. But materials for making weapons and such can be bought here. |

((Well, here's two for now.)) Name of Island: Naia Kingdom Location of Island: Grand Line General Information: A very bountiful kingdom, covered in lush, rich jungle and filled with ancient ruins, rumoured to be from the Blank Century. The jungle is very treacherous though, and the best place on the island for treasure/adventure is in the centre, in a tall pyramid-like structure. Unfortunately, the island is so large it would take two days (from any of the edges) to reach the pyramid, and it would take a further two days to even explore 20% of it. The majority of the plants in the jungle are toxic, it is filled with poisonous -and generally deadly- beasts. There are only two towns. It has a remarkably short log time for a Grand Line island - only five hours. Shape of Island/Map: A four-pointed diamond. It would take at least 4 days to go from edge-to-edge. Weather: Jungle-like; damp, humid and hot, with occasional torrential downpours of really uncomfortably warm rain. Description: Na Town Location Eastern most point of the island - Na Town Description One of the two towns on the island, everyone in this town paints their skin blue, to distinguish themselves in the forest. The town itself is a basic village with basic stuff (Inn, weapons shop, doctor etc.), but all the roofs of the houses are blue. Pretty much the exact same as Ia Town. Location Westernmost point of the island - Ia Town Description One of the two towns on the island, everyone in this town paints their skin red, to distinguish themselves in the forest. The town itself is a basic village with basic stuff (Inn, weapons shop, doctor etc.), but all the roofs of the houses are red. Pretty much the exact same as Na Town. Location Dead center of the island - The Pyramid Description The main drawing point of the island, this pyramid is in the dead middle of the island and is rumoured to be immensely large, containing both underground and above-ground areas. Supposedly filled with ancient curses and treasure, only one man who went there ever returned, and he'd gone mad... Basically, your standard, run-of-the-mill mysterious castle-thing. NPC: Nobody really notable, some shopkeepers, innkeepers, mayors of the two towns. --------------------------- Name of Island: Oustos Location of Island: Grand Line General Information: A strange island, and the next waypoint from the Naia Kingdom, this place is shaped like a large eye, and the island residents themselves worship a great god, who is in the shape of an eye. Thus, pretty much everything here comes from optometry, and they trade heavily with other places for basic supplies. Oddly, the ground here only grows two things; palm trees and corn, so their exports are severely limited, aside from their optometrists. Shape of Island/Map: The island is shaped like a large eye. Weather: Wintery (yeah, its a Winter island) Description: Location Opto Town Description Every building in Opto Town is shaped like an eye (from an aerial perspective) giving it one of the weirdest layouts in history. Further, everything has eyes on it (well, nearly). Also, people may want to avoid the middle of the town, as there's a huge temple there dedicated to the aforementioned eye god. If you don't want to be forcibly "converted" you stay away from there. NPC: Everyone is an optometrist, either as a side-job or their main profession. However, the mayor will have a Snake Snake Devil Fruit (Model: Boa Constrictor) and will be a strange man who emigrated from Naia Kingdom on a dare, and found himself mayor. |

It is quite a small island, and the people prefer it that way, so that nobody will pay attention to them. For whoever have passed through this island, they can say how technologically advanced this island is. However, their main focus is not the earth, but the galaxy. They research how to get to outer space Shape of Island/Map: semi-circle, and a thin line of land passing from the midpoint Weather: Winter mostly Location center of town - Ark Facility Description Where the main focus of the project to outer space occurs. Name of Island: Bijotsu Location of Island: South Blue General Information: A literal ruin, the entire island is covered in blackened, charred ruins of a once prosperous town. Nothing grows here, it is though the ground has been salted. The entire place always has the whole 'just ruined' atmosphere as well, and no matter how the weather changes, it always smells of fresh smoke - even when it's raining. It is said to be haunted by those who once resided there, but that is an urban myth that is usually dismissed by those who go there. Not that anybody stays long, mind... Shape of Island/Map: An eight-pointed star, the points are well defined but it's all covered by ruins. Weather: All four seasons, rains about 60% of the time. Description: Location Bijotsu Town - ruins Description The blackened charred ruins of an ex-Marine retreat, it was once filled with children's laughter and a good feeling of ease. However nowadays, it is filled with the feeling of resentment, and no matter where one travels you can always feel eyes on you, even though nobody is there. Or are they...? NPC: Nobody; it's basically all ruins. ----------------------------------------------- Name of Island: Tenran Location of Island: The New World (?) General Information: A rumour of a rumour, this island is supposedly located right in the middle of the rumoured All Blue. Further, the stories about everyone on the island -how they all possess the powers of gods- are probably due to the dispropotionately high number of Devil Fruits on the island. It is even told that a Devil Fruit Orchard is hidden somewhere on the island, but nobody knows for sure... Shape of Island/Map: An apple-like shape, with stalk and leaf attachments! Weather: Unknown, presumably very nice. Description: Location Tenran Description The rumoured island of 'fame', it is only next to Raftel in mystery and intrigue, but is not even known outside of the New World. Very few people have ever been to the island, so nobody is quite sure what is on there, but every now and then powerful people emerge from a supposedly unchartered part of the New World... NPC: Unknown. |

Name of Island: Dyslexia Island Location of Island: New World General Information: This island is considered a backwater island due to it's proximity to the calm belt and is rarely visited by pirates. However this island is rich with the rare mineral Dyslexium, a highly enriched alternative to gun powder, and as such was at one point a scientific/mining outpost for the WG. A village sprouted outside of the outpost and grew with the boom town. This was short lived. Several decades ago, several questionable experiments were conducted on the island. The goal of these experiments was to further expand the harnessing of Dyslexium for various WG projects; however the result of this experiment caused the once majestic mountain and forests to break apart then floated away. In fact, most of the island floats above the sea level except for what's left of the scientific outpost and village. According to the locals and survivors, the effects of the experiment also altered the gravity of the remaining landmass. One of the survivors even claimed that reality was altered within the depths of the outpost. Nonsense like going up when you went down, left when you wanted to go right, going up an endless staircase, and other things like that. Shape of Island/Map: It used to looked like a circle, but now the floating land masses break up the circle and act like an orbit. It fluxes between an ellipse and an explosion shape. Weather: One could argue that it's a sky island, but it isn't. Weather is like the spring, and rains about 40% of the time. This does not include the pieces of land that fall form the sky as well, though these will oddly go back into orbit. Description: For every significant place on the island copy-paste the following code. This includes towns, villages, small forest, or even just small house of of some hermit in a mountain. Location Waterfront Village Description It's a quint little village that used to a boom town. Only about a hundred people live there now. There isn't much to note about this village other than it's resident crazy man and it's fishing commerce. NPC: Joe "Crazy Man" Smithers (local crazy man and former scientist) Loretta Johnson, Village elder. Location Dyslexia Outpost Description The former WG outpost. It an extensive compound which was dug into the mountain and even stretched deep under the sea. There are rumored to have been five levels to the compound, however this can not be proven at this time. There are entire sections of the outpost floating in the sky. No one has dared to explore the outpost since the accident for fear of Crazy Man's words. NPC: Unknown Location Floating landmasses Description These are landmasses that stretch across a broad area. Due to the gravity fields, people can get up to the land masses, but these fields are uncharted and could lead to a sudden plunge. NPC: Unknown Edited by Frostbitten, Aug 30 2009, 06:10 PM.

Name of Island: Kamen Island Location of Island: East Blue (or Grand Line) General Information: Kamen Island, as its name suggests, is all about ‘masks’. Every single person on the island, at birth, is given a mask. Each of the masks are unique, and no single mask is the same. The scientists who designed the masks were able to implement a strange system into the mask, which keeps the user healthy at all times. The locals of the island are very friendly to travelers who are passing through the island. When someone passes by, it is required by law of the island for the traveler to be given a temporary mask that has a distinct mark on it, signifying the person is just passing through. The island allows pirates to visit it, but does not tolerate any crime. Any witnessed crime will be reported to the marine base on the northern side of the island, and they will deal all punishments. All captured criminals have yet to be released, and their punishments remain unknown to the public. The island contains a science facility where all the masks that the denizens of Kamen Island wear, were developed. The science facility is located on the bottom of the island, on the ‘dot’ at the bottom. It is connected to the main island by a bridge that is guarded by marines. A rumor around the island is that there are ‘experiments’ running around the island, hiding from the public. Supposedly, Marines are constantly on surveillance for Docking on the island is only located in two spots. One is especially for marines near the marine base. The other is near the center of the island. Shape of Island/Map: Question Mark.Weather: A nice calming weather, never too hot, and never too cold. But for some strange reason, every second Sunday, it will rain all day and night, and just stop the second after midnight. Description: Location: Masked Square Description: The central of Kamen Island. This is where all the businesses are run, and all the trading of the island goes on. Location: No-Mans Land Description: An area near the science facility which nobody inhabits. The rumor has it that monsters will attack anybody who walks into this area. Location: Science Facility Description: The most secretive place on the island. Cut off to the public, and the gates are only opened when a new improved mask is released for the publics use. Many rumors have sprouted from this secretive facility, and some might even be true. NPC: The Masked Hero: A rumor turned real, a fighter of justice. A released marine who was tested on at the science facility of the island. The Marine Base Head: A man who shows no emotion towards criminals, sending them away to be punished. Failed Experiments: Failed experiments that have escaped from the science facility, and are hunted down throughout the day. |

Name of Island: Queendom of Cœuria, Land of Wonders; formerly Wonderland Location of Island: Grand Line General Information: Shape of Island/Map: Roughly square-shaped Weather: Hot summers, cold winters…Wet springs, colorful autumns? Description: This is pretty much my attempt at OP-ifying Wonderland. Preferably it’s extremely out of the way and/or difficult to reach, as I don’t think this island would be one to see many foreigners. Basically, the villagers are split up into four factions, or suits – Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, and Clubs. Until relevantly recently, the island, once known as Wonderland, was a veritable utopia, until a tyrant woman usurped the throne of the Hearts, becoming the Queen of Hearts and self-proclaimed ruler of the island. The social caste of each suit is defined by different parameters, but all of them are based solely on merit, not heredity. The least noteworthy citizens are “Twos,” while the most talented ones are deemed “Nines,”; most of the people fall somewhere in between. The title of “Ace,” is reserved for the best of the best, the few who excel in their fields to the point of being entire levels above their peers. The leaders are the Jacks, Queens, and Kings, although for the most part they are royalty in name only – with the exception of the Heart suit, the Queens and Kings are either elected or, in the case of the Clubs, simply the strongest warriors. Prior to the queen seizing power, the Hearts functioned as the couriers of the island, the diplomats. Wonderland didn’t interact much with the outside world, but when it did, it relied on the Hearts to negotiate matters. Now that the Queen of Hearts had severed communications with the rest of the world, however, the Hearts don’t have much to do outside of catering to the Queen’s every whim. Also, while used to be pacifists, the Queen has had some of them trained to be archers, and it’s not difficult to understand her reasoning; as the Hearts occupy the Northern corner of the island, which is a plateau hundreds of feet above the rest of the island, it’d be easy to pick off rebel armies before they got anywhere close. The Hearts emblem is red. The Clubs are the warriors of Wonderland. They occupy the Eastern quarter of the island, a flat plain with very little to curb the powerful winds. Also, the Clubs emblem is green. They value strength over all other virtues and prefer to settle any dispute by combat. Traditionally, the title of King was given to he who proved himself the strongest warrior, but this generation has challenged conventions by producing two, evenly matched half-giant warriors (They’re like Tweedledee and Tweedledum, but I’m not sure if that’d be their actual names) who are not only the most capable fighters the island has ever seen, but also arguable the stupidest. No doubt their lack of intelligence had a hand in their aligning themselves with the Queen of Hearts. Currently the Clubs are the Queen’s muscle; she uses them to quell any rebellions and keep her subjects in check. To the West, there are the Diamonds – their crest is yellow. They are the scientists of Coeuria, with access to technology more advanced than what a good portion of the world could imagine. Beneath their territory is a plethora of crystals with strange properties, and the Diamonds have set up an extensive network of mining tunnels to take advantage of this. These crystals contain energy, with which the Diamonds are able to power lights, household appliances, and…of course, weapons. The Diamonds are also the arms manufacturers of the island, producing guns and even swords which are capable of shooting out small blasts of energy. It should be noted, however, that the crystals must be handled with great care, for they tend to explode if struck and don’t react particularly well to fire either – they’re really no melee weapons. The King of the Diamonds is a strange little rabbit, with not much of a head for the sciences, but a remarkable talent for public relations among a sea of intelligent people who cannot really express themselves. The true leader of the Diamonds is a shadowy, Mad Hatter-esque character, operating from the shadows while letting the King handle the public. In the South corner of Coeuria resides the Spades, of the blue crest, the farmers of Coeuria. From above, their territory resembles a chessboard – it’s comprised entirely of smaller plots of land, half of which are always being used, while the other half are allowed to “rest,”. The Spades have domesticated quite a few bizarre looking animals, but other than that they’re not very remarkable. As a matter of fact, even before Wonderland became Coeuria, while everyone was equal in theory, the Spades were always the losers of the island. Their agricultural knowledge was – and still is – vital to the island’s independence, but such skills are not particularly flashy. After all, the Hearts were the couriers, the Diamonds were the technological and scientific geniuses, and the Clubs were the warriors – the Spades were just…farmers. Now, however, a couple of Spades are hiding a secret that would shock Coeuria to its core. When the Queen of Hearts took the throne, one of her first acts was to kill off the real royal family. However, the princess Alice was able to escape, due to the sacrifice of a few heroic Hearts loyal to the true royal family. She is currently hiding among the land of the Spades, continuing to elude the Queen’s murderous henchmen. …This is probably enough description for now.
Jabberwocky’s Den At the center of Coeuria is a canyon not even the Queen, for all her massive strength, dares to enter, for it is the den of the Jabberwocky, a gargantuan, centuries-old monsters that will kill anything and anyone who comes near it. Few have seen it, but it’s blood-curling howl can be heard from anywhere on the island. NPC: The Jabberwocky Coeuropolis This is the palace the Queen has had erected for herself. It’s a massive, flashy, building with large doorways and high ceilings to accommodate for the Queen’s size. Oh, and a lot of mirrors so the Queen can admire herself and other stuff. NPCs: Queen of Hearts Crystal Caves Caves with crystals in them. Scientists aren’t very imaginative. Anyway, not many are allowed in here due to the violent tempers of the crystals, and it’s…big. NPCs: Uhh… …So I was a little lazy with the Locations. Anyway, this idea is far from complete, so I’d love any ideas anyone else can contribute. Edited by Titan, Sep 1 2009, 03:27 PM.
