Clothing: She wears a sarashi around her chest and waist in place of underwear. She wears a pair of tight fitting pants and a golden brown loose vest. She wears a special pair of running shoes that allow her to run faster and jump farther. As long as shes wearing them she'll never get tired.
Description: Has a definite weathered look to herself. She's middle aged and and has a rather tired look to her, however shes very skilled in combat and knows how to defend herself.
Accessories: And old set of swords she used to use, and a lighter with the initials J.H. on it.
Extra: Wears an eye patch over her right eye. Her body is covered head to toe with old wounds and scars. Across her back are 3 parallel diagonal slash marks, there’s a large bullet wound on her right shoulder that leaves a bit of an indent when it healed, across he abdomen is an X shaped slash mark, and going vertically down her chest is an old surgery scar from when they had to remove a bullet from her chest, across the top of her breasts is a vertical scar approximately 5 inches long. Her legs are also covered in miscellaneous scars as well.

Personality She used to be a happy yet grizzled swordsman. She had a son when she was young whom she loved very much. However after his death she fell into a great depression and she became a bitter alcoholic spending most of her time drinking and regretting her past.

Having met a mysterious man named Souji Maria was shocked out of her depressed lifestyle.

Having recently found a new crew Maria seems to have had a bit of trouble adjusting to her new outlook on life, her temper flaring and waning wildly and sporadically. She’s not used to being around people constantly so she’s still trying to find a middle ground to remain planted on. Still she comes of as a bit arrogant, but that’s mostly because she’s been around so long she’s seen enough in her life to have a basic understanding of how most things work. She feels it’s her responsibility to see that this newfound young crew is nurtured and taking care of so it can help grow to become the next generation, though obviously she still needs some practice in dealing with youngn’s all the time.

Her swords seem to have a personality all their own and Maria seems to speak with them sometimes, or at least she thinks she's speaking with them. Maria seems to be the only one capable of hearing them so whether or not she simply talking to them for comfort or just the early stage of senility is debatable. Regardless she usually only speaks with them in her head so as to not appear insane by others around her.

History

Combat She used a number of different styles and stances switching between her weapons as needed to match her current situation.
Stances/styles: Itto-Ry, Itto-Ryu Iai, Nito-Ryu.

Weaponry When she was still a swordsman she always carried 5 swords on her that she used in combat. On her left hip was a Nodaochi and a katana, on her right hip was a matching katana and a Wakasachi, and on her back was an exceptionally long sword with a 5 foot blade and a foot and a half long handle. She used a number of different styles and stances switching between her weapons as needed to match her current situation.

Currently she uses 2 Wazamono grades swords in combat
Cerberus and Baskerville- a powerful pair of cursed twin katana with a wicked temper and will. It is said any who attempts to wield or touch them meets with unfortunate consequences at their hands. Made from an unusual black and red patterned metal, the handle and hilt have the carvings of 2 different wolves on each sword, on one is the carving of the 3 headed guardian of the underworld Cerberus, on the other the 20 eyed hound from hell Baskerville. Maria seems to be the only person capable of controlling these katana, possibly because her qualities of her qualities of a wolf. They have a nearly insatiable bloodlust that is difficult to control and they seem to get stronger the more blood they spill. Due to years of neglect and disuse their level of power and quality has dropped to an all time low so the curse isn't very dangerous mostly just dealing any non worthy user clumsiness or minor cuts and wounds. Due to the swords hostile nature Maria was forced to seal them away while she was on her suspended swordsmanship period.

Stats:
Using her signature silent moving technique she crouches down and springs forward fast and silently allowing her to sneak up on unsuspecting prey. She is also capable of using this technique to bounce off of vertical and smooth surfaces to reach higher footing. The technique can be used up to 3 times consecutively. After the use of the tech there must be a period of resting equal to the number of uses of the tech. 1 period for 1 use, 2 for 2, ect ect.

Edit: when i first made the character I asked around the mods and moderators to see if I could upgrade all her weapons at the first benchmark, but it looks like either the opinion on that has changed, or it was never the case and I was misled. In that case I am only going to be pushing for Cerberus and Baskerville. I NEED those weapons to be active together, i can't have them individually as it would seriously fuck up the lore I've been building. So hoping at the very least I can ge both of them together for a single upgrade, otherwise I'll have to either scrap or completely redo Maria's long term plans and current techs.

Edit2: Speak and I were chatting at length and we came up with a possible solution. In the next sl I'd introduce her twin katana's I've been building up but be forced to take them to a smith to refurbish them. In doing this I'd pay about 7,000,000 berri and get both katana's at wazamono grade quality so I'm not just getting 2 for free but paying for one as well.

Wolf's Step - You can use it up to 3 times in a row, and when you're done you have to wait a number of posts equal to the number of times you used it to use it again.

As we discussed, the swords will scale up to their full potential with consecutive upgrades. Right now, they can be dangerous (cuts, fumbles, etc.) to those other than Maria who handle them, have a distinct impression of canine nature (visible auras at least 1 more step up), and have a personality. She can also talk to them, but this is a process of schitzophrenia and not the swords being fully sentient. The "jagged cuts" will have to wait; Zoro couldn't use an aura/illusion to attack until Asura, so it's a fairly potent effect.

That said, sending it to Sham for a final look-over.

ok, I had intended the talking of them to be pretty ambiguous. In her previous threads when they spoke they could easily be concieved as as representations of her aggression and violent side, or they could be the words spirits talkin to her, or as you said schizophrenia, it's more fun to leave it ambiguous. I'll edit the jagged part out in a sec.

Your previous beliefs were likely based on assumption and fiddly words. Five upgrades where others would earn only one is clear abuse of the system. I'm sure that's clear to you now.

I'm also led to understand that you'll earn one blade through the free upgrade and have to pay for the other. That's clear, however I disagree with the 6,000,000 beli price tag. I'd personally prefer it to be 7,000,000 beli as per usual when purchasing a Wazamono quality weapon. You can afford it, so this shouldn't be an issue.

The nature of the blades is fine too, just remember the key part that they're not sentient. Adjust them accordingly, as you haven't done so whilst I'm posting this.

The technique is fine with the limits set. Rendered useless if the prey is suspecting, yaddayadda.
