"I am DEFINITELY NOT on Tora watch! It is your responcibility, and YOUR punishment!"

Geno retorted back to Shin, trying to push his non-existant burden over to the others. Blasphemy! It was his to do, since it was his fault he had let Tora out of his sight back before when he and Kubo had raided their stores of food!

Looking on to Zenko, she only sighed as he took the abuse from Tora, and still claimed he needed no medical.

"Even though he DOES need medical, there is nothing we can do now... We are still in need of supplies. We may as well see if there is anything we can collect from the island."

As they docked, Geno was all for the party idea. They hadn't reall done anything in some time that was fun, other than mess around. A good night of ale and horseplay could be fun!

"I am in!!!"

She exclaimed excitedly as she was ready to paaaarty!

Shin let out a small sigh as the ship finally reached shore. This meant he had to leave his precious ship alone once again. He left the ship last, a solemn expression on his face as his feet touched the warm sand. He could not keep a small smile from his face as the familiar feeling of land overwhelmed him. He always did this. He was sad when he had to leave the ship until he felt the earth ground beneath his feet, and then he was sad to leave land until he felt the safe surface of the Wave Hopper.

"A party? I mean, I guess we could use some relaxation after the stressful sailing."

They had done nothing but relax while sailing, actually. It was all they did everyday nearly. But a small party couldn't hurt anyone. Besides, he was almost certain something adventurous would happen once they ventured deeper into the island, so they should start off being happy after a good party.

"You're so strict, Guy. But don't worry, I'm sure a bit of drinking will loosen you uuup. Jstic!"

Shin spoke already half-drunk as he had taken to drinking the moment Tora mentioned the word party. His precious ship! How he missed it! Even though it was right besides them. He just had to drink the sorrows away! The headache he would get the next day would also make it easier to leave without thinking too much about the ship. It was a win-win situation! Besides the blinding pain.

Spike followed closely behind Gorshu as the small group made their way to the beach where the ship was expected to dock, a strange mix of fear and curiosity tumbling around in his gut. He prepared himself mentally for the worst-case scenario, in which these marauding sea-bandits would need to be taken out as quickly as possible in order to save the tribe, and the island. It's funny... Spike thought, the side of his mouth curling into a half-smile I came to this island to learn how these tribes could exist in such harmony with the land, and instead I've found myself a family, and a home. One that I'll die to protect. If it comes to that...

He was brought out of his introspection by Gorshu's confession that he hoped the pirates making their way to the island were of the violent sort. He listened to what the council member had to say, and without thinking, his right hand traveled up and touched his left shoulder. Underneath his hoodie, right where his fingers had gone of their own accord, there was a small scar. The only physical reminder he had of his fight with the loggers. Spike had learned of the group the day he arrived on Toroa, and had been instantly outraged to learn what they had been doing to the island. So he took off to find their camp and challenged their foreman to a fight. Even though he was seriously outclassed by the man's experience, he had managed to avoid injury for the most part, staying on the defensive until he was able to pull the one ace he had from his sleeve. The foreman did get a solid hit in on Spike during the fight, however, and stuck a knife into the young botanist's shoulder. After the fight, members of the tribe tended to Spike's wounds as best as they could, but without advanced medical training, the herbs they grew and salves they concocted only went so far. The scar that he fingered absent-mindedly was proof of that, although he bore no ill will about it.

All of these memories flooded through Spike when Gorshu mentioned the fight with the loggers, and after a moment, Spike realized where his hand was resting. "You have a great fire inside of you, Gorshu, nobody can deny that." Spike said, attempting to sound as wise as Shempa, and likely failing. "I want to protect this island as well, but we shouldn't hope to fight. You should never seek out an injury. Violence only comes when all other options have failed." Spike then shot a sly smile at the council member. "But if those options fail, I would love to have you by my side."

The scouting party arrived just in time to settle in before the ship reached the shore. In the fading light of the setting sun, Spike noticed something that filled him with dread. These pirates were definitely the violent type, they had strung up some poor soul by the ankle and were dangling him off the side of the ship! This could be bad... Spike thought, watching as the ship pulled closer to the beach. Spike tensed his body, waiting for the obviously bloodthirsty pirate crew to disembark. If they just charge blindly into the forest, I might be able to save that poor bastard they strung up. Hopefully they're as dumb as they are dangerous. But before Spike could take any action to save the supposed victim of this villainous crew, the strangest thing happened... He freed himself! And then started shouting about setting up camp and having a party! What in the hell is going on here?!?!?!

Zenko let out a sigh. Dealing with all the crew-members at the same time could be tiring. At least Nola nor Guy were bothering Zenko. They went with their own flow and just left Zenko be Zenko. And not declare him as some crazy demon, or said that he needed to get patched up. Zenko felt fine, so he was fine. When the crew arrived, Zenko got off the ship, landing in the sand. He glanced around.

"Oi, Shin. You can't drink. Don't forget you're on Tora-watch. What if he sets off on his own, again? You remember what happens every time Tora sets off on his own, right? I'd like it for a change that I don't end up getting thrown, stabbed, cut, cannonballed, spit on, shocked or any other unpleasant thing."

Zenko remarked, eyeing the Shipwright. The first mate then turned to the ship. His hand cupped around his mouth, as he raised his voice.

"Paaai, we've arrived at the island. Tora wants to set up a party. Bring some drinks!"

Zenko started to walk around a little. Despite trying to be a bit of a buzz-kill, mostly towards Shin for protesting so much against Tora-watch, Zenko actually did feel like having another party. It was a nice sunny day and a beach was fine.

"We could celebrate my good health!"

Zenko remarked, trying to indicate he really felt fine, despite the wounds he was carrying.

"Don't worry Guy, we'll have Shin watch Tora. So it doesn't get too much out of hand. I agree with Shin. Cut lose a little bit. We can stay a bit longer on the island. We are in no rush to get anywhere, right?"

Zenko was unusually light-hearted right now. He smiled and in general was acting more up-beat than usual.

Guy looked at Shin as moments after Tora had yelled out his need for a party the shipwright Shin had somehow managed to get a drink and become half drunk already, whih was rather odd seeing as though they had only just landed on the beach and they hadn't have time to take the things needed for a party off the ship yet.

"Ehh..you do know how many times Shin's failed to keep watch over Tora right?"Guy had to say in a matter of fact sort of way towards Zenko so it was bound to happen where Shin will fail to keep Tora away from doing something stupid and they would have to deal with the situation

"..."Once the supplies for the party had been unloaded Guy walked to a tree holding a mug then looked for a flat rock to place his mug on, and once it was on the rock the navigator started to clean his weapons like he had always done on the ship

Pai had put everything on hold in the kitchen. Now that they were going to be reaching land he figured he would cook on the beach. Thankfully he had not yet put anything big together, so he wasn't wasting food. By the time the ship had reached the shore Pai came out to check out the island."This island looks interesting, kinda reminds me of my home." The Cook folded his arms and nodded, "Molebearpigtopiea." Pai was about to give a full history lesson on the made up island when Zenko spoke up. Looking down to the First Mate from the ship Pai gave him a thumbs up. "Yosh! A party sounds like a good idea!" Pai had hurried back into the Wave Hopper for a few minutes. When he came back out he was in his heavy point form, carrying a pile of food and supplies that rose past his head. Once on the shore Pai had a fire going and began to grill a variety of fishes and vegetables.

While the Red Caps began to start their party, Gorshu hid alongside Spike. His expression was one of shock, his jaw dangling right above the ground. "Wha-Wh-What the hell is going on over there?" He said as loudly as one could while whispering. When this Pirate ship had docked there was a man hanging from the side by a rope. "I thought that one with the Cap was a prisoner. Why is he partying with the others?" Gorshu looked over to Spike and the others, hoping for someone to have an answer. "Perhaps they are just docking for a place to rest tonight. Maybe they won't even leave the beach." Gorshu said while looking over at the Red Caps. This was a strange looking bunch, among some normal looking humans there was a Fishwoman and some wild animals. "Their roster is rather bizz-EHH!" Gorshu clamped his hands over his mouth when he noticed Pai starting to cook. "What the hell is that thing?!" He said towards Spike while looking at the tall panda. It took him a moment to calm down, but once he was normal Gorshu took a deep breath. "This is by far the strangest group I've seen come to the island. They may not be dangerous, but we should observe them and be certain."

At the campfire Pai was cooking up a huge meal for the crew. It was nice to be on solid ground again camping out. This party was smaller compared to the last one the Red Caps threw, but it was just as lively. While the Cook was busy the topic of Tora watch came up again. Pai shook his head before stepping away and letting some seasoned fish grill for a bit. "You guys do realize there is an easy solution to this right?" Walking over to his cooking supplies the Molebearpig whistled towards Tora. Pai than raised up a large jar of applesauce and placed it down near the campfire. "There, a self-watching Tora watch program." He chuckled a little while going back to cooking, mumbling something about Molebearpig ingenuity. From there on Pai continued with his cooking for the crew. It was nice to have such a peaceful night, given how hectic things had been for the crew lately.

In every man's life there was a moment in which you were given a choice. A choice to run or a choice to fight for what you believed in. To Tora this moment came in the shape of an obstacle so powerful... So... Radiating with evil that it was hard to look at it without squinting your eyes in disgust. It was exactly why Tora stared at Guy with squinted eyes and a scrunched up nose. A short party? Hell to the no!! There were a ton of things Tora wouldn't do. Not eat apple sauce. Leave Zenko alone. Simply sit quietly and not get in trouble but not partying was right there at the top of the list.

"Psch!! We'll party until morning and then some!! Awawa.... You'll see Guy!! You'll see and you'll love it!! I know you will!! Whenever we have a party you just sit around cleaning your gun looking all content. Don't think I haven't seen you smiling as you listened to the music and enjoyed the company!! I know you better then Zenko knows the dark arts of demonship!! That's how good I know you!! Apple Sauce Guy!! Apple sauce Guy? Apple Sauce? Awa? Sauce? Can I have so-"

When he noticed Shin already half drunk Tora's entire being seemed to light up. Yay!! Shin and Geno were clearly in party mode already!! Clapping his hands the captain grinned. Awesome!! The third one to go along with his idea was Zenko. Of course this came as no surprise. Although Zenko often -unfairly- blamed things on the captain they agreed on one thing. They had to throw as many parties as they could!!

"Awa!! Zenko!! You tell him man!! Guy needs to cut loose and give me apple sauce!! Awahahahaha!!"

He laughed whole heartedly agreeing with the first mate. His hands on his hips as he turned to look at Guy with a face breaking grin. It was so good to have some back-up for a change!! Normally nobody went along with his plans except for Kubomacho and on occasion Shin or Pai but that was it!! Today was different though.

"I'll go get some firew-"

In a second he stood next to Pai who had raised a jar of apple sauce. Like a chipmunk Tora patiently waited for Pai to put it down and the moment he did the captain struck. Faster then he had ever moved the jar was in his hand. With a single finger stuck into the jar and his arm pumping up and down slowly Tora returned to look at the rest of the crew.

"-ood together with Shin!!"

Yup. He had developed an odd habit of eating. It didn't take Tora and Shin especially long to scrape some left over wood together from Shin's workplace and soon a medium sized fire was crackling peacefully. The captain sitting next to it with a jar of apple sauce beaming with content. This was the life!!

Zenko observed Pai as he brought apple sauce. The First mate couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. What a way to keep Tora out of trouble. That clever little Molebearpig. Zenko clapped in his hands, before turning to Guy.

"Pai's got it covered. And Shin still has watch, no matter how you turn it."

Zenko would make sure, Shin at least knew that Zenko was keeping an eye on him to keep an eye on Tora. Zenko then turned to address Tora. The Captain had to check his facts, saying that Zenko knew his demonarts.

"Swords-arts, I know my swords."

Zenko looked after Tora and Shin as he took a sip from his drink. It didn't take long before the crew had a fire going. Zenko settled himself down. He was content. With a drink in his hand, a day of hard training behind, he was satisfied with the day.

"This is a pretty nice island. Guy, are you going to join us now? Perhaps relax a little bit?"

Ironic that the first mate was saying this. His way of relaxing was primarily training really hard. Zenko never did realize when he was giving out advice it could very well be applied to himself.

Guy's eyebrows twitched hearing Zenko saying that the navigator should relax alittle, which was rather ironic, he had his own ways of enjoying a party, so he didn't join in with dancing and each party he was in,he was seen cleaning his weapons.

"..."it really was a odd thing to tell Guy to relax, he was probably THE most relaxed member of the redcap in the crew ah well he wasn't going to stop them from telling him to relax.

"Fine"and with that Guy moved closer to the fire his back facing the woods behind him carrying the flat rock and mug with him as well, before looking at Tora as he went through his begging for apple sauce and just moment later returned with a jar of said apple sauce in his hands.

Well something tells me this party is going to last for as long as some of the other parties have...all night and into the next morning, and yet Guy had the most important job of them all..to safely navigate the ship, with whatever sleep he managed to get.

"You're right. We always get hurt when Tora goes out to do stupid things..."

With an annoyed sigh, Shin put the half-full mug down, balancing it on the sand so it would not tip over. He should watch over Tora. Or else Tora would just wander off somehow and get them all into trouble. And trouble always meant they got hurt. Especially Zenko. The shipwright smiled brightly when he suddenly got an idea.

"Party!" He shouted ready to party once more.

With the mug in his hand, now filled to the brim with the beverage he had gotten from nowhere, Shin knew he had to get drunk. Tora had to do his thing because that was the best way to annoy Zenko. Whenever the crew went off on an adventure, it inevitably ended with the swordsman in bandages. In the back of his mind, Shin knew that he could simply stop watching Tora instead of getting drunk, but such logical thoughts had already been purged from his mind by the alcohol.

Following a short trip to get fireworks from the ship, Shin ended up having to sit down in front of the fire, enjoying its warmth. The drinking had struck him hard already. He rarely drank more than a bit, even when the crew were partying. A focused martial artist like him needed a healthy body without impurities. But he had simply been forced to drink heavily this time due to stress. Stress caused by Tora watch. And Tora watch was because of Zenko. So, following that illogical line of thought, Shin being drunk was also Zenko's fault!

"Drink up, Guy!"

He threw a mug towards the navigator without thinking of the consequences. His eyes widened when he realized what he had done. Things went in slow-motion as the mug flipped over in the air, ready to spill its contents all over Guy. Shin had not been fond of being thrown overboard earlier on the ship, and he had no idea what sadistic torture Guy could think of if Shin got him wet! He jumped across the fire heroically, turning his body mid-air and opening his mouth wide, the content of the mug flying across the air and into his mouth.

He landed on the sand again near Guy. He tried to get up but had not the strength after such a heroic act.

"I... saved you. Justice..."

Spike watched in fascination as the red cap pirates went about their business and settled into party mode. This was one of the oddest groups he had ever seen, surely the strangest collection since his youth, spent travelling with the circus. He reminded himself to be quiet as he responded to Gorshu. Until they had some idea about the strength of these pirates, it was a good idea to remain hidden from them, even if they did seem to be a fairly small crew. "... I have no idea what to make of this group... I think he might be a prisoner, or something. Listen closely, it sounds like they have some sort of watch set for him. Maybe they've brainwashed him? Or maybe he's their chore boy. I've heard of pirate crews that torture their chore boys just for fun. And that's why they have to watch him! So he doesn't run away!" Spike smiled, proud that he had figured out the poor fool with the red cap's story.

The smile fell as his jaw dropped to the ground, as Gorshu pointed out Pai. Spike had already noticed the Panda bear, but had written him off as simply a pet, not realizing in the slightest that he had been participating in the conversation this entire time. "I thought that was another one of their pets." Spike said, the look on his face a mixture of confusion and intrigue. "It looks like a panda bear. There used to be one of those that traveled with our circus. But it never talked. And it definitely never cooked."

Spike let the scene set in while his mind worked through all this new information. After a moment's thought, he turned back to Gorshu, reminding himself once again to keep his voice low. "I agree, these guys don't seem immediately dangerous. But I don't think we can just ignore them as long as they're staying on this island. If I might suggest, we should send one of the boys back to inform the rest of the tribe." Spike said, gesturing towards the members of the tribe that had accompanied Spike and Gorshu. "At least to inform Shempa of their numbers, and to have the tribe prepared in case we need to move." Spike made his suggestion to Gorshu, then quieted down and turned back to the beach. These pirates were interesting, he definitely wanted to continue watching them, to make sure they didn't hurt the island. And to see what they would do next...

Nola was happy to be on land. Not that she minded being out at sea either. Unlike the others aboard the ship she was able to spend long periods of time in the sea. It became rather boring however, being the only one to do so. Nola had hoped once the crew reached land things would calm down a bit. She assumed being cooped up on the wave hopper for so long made most of them a little silly. The exception of course being Tora and Pai, who were always on the strange side of things. Once on the island however, Nola quickly learned that this was in fact the normal for everyone.

"This is going to take some getting use to."

She quietly said to herself while watching the crew's antics. Tora obsession with apple sauce was still strange to Nola. It seemed like his greatest strength and weakness all at the same time. Still, being able to relax on a peaceful night was was enjoying. She sat next to the fire and played the occasional tune while everyone was having fun. Pai's cooking was as good as usual and the boys seemed to be their usual selves. The strangest moment was Shin's offer of a drink to guy and then preventing it from spilling onto Guy. Nola couldn't help but stare blankly at Shin. She looked over to Guy with a curious expression.

"I'm going to have to get use to how batty things can get around this lot huh?"

She shrugged a little while smiling. The Red Caps were indeed the most bizarre group she had ever met. However, Nola still found them all more interesting and amusing than any other crew she had been with.

Pai's ears wiggled a little bit, his Molebearpig sense kicking in. Standing up the cheerful aura around the cook had vanished and he appeared rather serious. Squinting his eyes Pai examined the forest before turning to face the ocean. "I don't know where", he said in a stern voice while folding his arms. "But somewhere out there in the world....someone just called me a panda bear." Pai stood still for a few more moments before turning around and heading back to the campfire. After finishing cooking up the rest of the food Pai handed it off to everyone and sat down. He was enjoying himself as usual while everyone else was being silly selves. When Shin came dangerously close to getting Guy with a drink Pai looked worried. His eyes grew wide and his jaw slammed into the ground. Before the Navigator could get wet Shin had saved the day. One the Shipwright landed on the ground Pai closed his eyes and sweatdropped. "You came dangerously close to being tied to the anchor Shin-sensei." While he was speaking to Shin Pai heard Nola's comment. "Honestly Nola", he said while taking a bite out of his food. "Do you need another lecture on all the various species aboard the Hopper? There are no bats silly." Looking over to Tora the Red Cap Cook noticed the large amount of apple sauce he was consuming. Pai let out a sigh before shouting to him. "Oi! Tora! Eat some meat too will ya?! You can't live off apple sauce alone you know!" He said while pointing towards the meat that Pai had grilled for everyone.

At Spikes suggestion Gorshu had gone had gone to inform the tribe of the situation. Some time had passed while Spike was left alone with the other guards. Gorshu had returned with Omacha, the two quietly coming back to Spike and the others. "Honestly, what was so important about this pirate crew that you wanted me to see?" Omacha said in a bored tone while nodding to Spike. Gorshu merely gave Omacha a blank stare before pointing to the large fire the pirates had gathered around. Omacha saw the crew, noting some strong looking humans. "That jungle cat looks rather fierce." He mumbled while noticing Kubomacho. "They also have a Fishwoman among their numbers as well? These pirates look like a rather intimidating bu..." Omacha grew silent when he spotted Pai. He was about to shout in shock but Gorshu clamped his mouth over before he could make a sound. "Apparently that thing is a panda bear. At least Spike here thinks it is." Pai's ears wiggled again and Gorshu dropped to the ground with Omacha. "That was too close." Omacha got back up and looked at the crew. "Either way, Shempa said we are only to observe until we know what they are up to. Even so", Omacha paused while looking at Spike. "You may want to be ready just to be safe."

"Awa!! Oi Shin!! I don't always do stupid things!! I do things so awesome you simply can't comprehend them!! That's what I do!! Ossu!! And sometimes I get blamed for things I didn't do like Zenko firing himself from a cannon and blaming me for it!! Not cool!!"

Tora would forever put the blame on other people and especially if Guy eased up on the punishments even a tiny bit. He was like that. Gave him a hand and he took an arm. His crew knew that by now though. In fact. Although Tora didn't notice it his crew had gotten significantly better at dealing with Tora and his antics. Truthfully, anyone who remotely knew Tora would find it an incredibly impressive feat.

The Captain remained seated as he listened to his crew members talk. His hand having curled around a spoon scooping bites of apple sauce into his mouth while he observed every one of them. When Shin started his usual party shenanigans Tora raised his jar in glee. Yes!! You could always count on Shin to make things more lively!! Indeed, the shipwright proved to be a hoot once again when he somehow ended up deciding that hurling his drink at Guy was a smart plan.

Even more impressive was the split second change of mind and rescue operation. The captain exploded in laughter as he saw Shin preform a dive so majestic it almost brought tears to his eyes. There he went again with his trademark Shinness!! There was nothing funnier then seeing his shipwright operate at full power. Tora's feet clapped together repeatedly as he clutched his stomach with his free arm laughing uncontrollably.

"Awahahahahahahaha!! That was so close Shin!! I bet you thought he wouldn't make it Guy!! I bet you thought that!! Awahahahahaha!! Eh?"

Then Pai came and spoiled the fun. The Molebearpig insisted that Tora picked up some meat. The captain glanced over at the food before slowly turning his gaze back towards Pai. He blinked once before pulling the most uninterested face he could muster, glancing sideways and picking his nose with his free hand.

"Dun wanna....."

He spoke childishly.

To say that Shin had reached a new level of stupidity was a understatement, when he tossed a mug at Guy after saying "drink up Guy" well that was what Guy had been doing ever since he got a mug, however unlike Shin he wasn't drunk at all he always made sure to drink sensibably, and so as the mug flew towards Guy, the navigator held the mug with his left hand freeing his right hand, and once the mug got close to him he simply grabbed it and then placed it down...down onto Shin's face.

"Hm, yeah when I was still on my own working as a bounty hunter I have never seen a crew like this before, and so it took me some time to get use to the crew but soon I'm sure you'll get used to the crew as me and Geno have"Guy said looking at Nola before placing Shin's mug down beside the shipwright before he went back to his drink once more.

"Pai I think it's kinda pointless trying to convince Tora to eat other food...he's completely addicted to apple sauce"Guy said looking at the captain as he acted like a child, then shook his head at what he had said about Shin making it on time before the mug's content got to him

Much thanks and appreciation to those who helped create and flourish the original One Piece Role Playing Game, located here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/One_Piece_RP/index/. It is a fantastic game which, obviously, we have based ours on in the most unobtrusive way possible, with any and all connections and correlations between our sites being nothing more than paid homage and the acceptance of excellent, well-considered ideas. While we here at NA have put a lot of effort into writing up the information for this game, a fair portion of it was borrowed and adapted from the aforementioned game, and so we here can't thank them enough for their hard work, and hope that anyone who ventures into this game checks their's out as well, assuming they have not already. They're a good bunch over there and deserve all the respect in the world for their ventures and creativity.
