The Yeti took a swap at Carrie, who with a smile, jumped backward and off the the top of the machine. She attached her feet to the Machine using her fruit powers and ran down it. She jumped off when she was close enough to the ground, and then looked up at the large beast. She did not want to be caught in a tight space with that thing. She needed some wiggle room to be able to deal with that thing. The Yeti let out an angry roar, and then jumped down after her; with a loud thud, it landed in front of Carrie. It's landing picked up dust, and caused a gust of wind. Carrie stood there smiling as her hair flapped around her face wildly at the arrival of her prey. She looked up at the Machine top and saw how dented in it was, thought of an idea, "I'm going to use you do my dirty work for me." She chuckled to her self as the Yeti went on the attack, swapping at her with his large hands. The beast was large no doubt and it had considerable power, but it was slow. She rolled forward avoiding the blow, and then stabbed the beast in the calf. Her blade went through, and the Yeti let out an even angrier yell. She pulled her blade not, which took a great deal of effort, and then went on the move again. She got a good distances away from the Yeti and then said, "Damn it's got thick skin. And I don't want to be chopping away at him either. It well mess up the pelt. I'll have to get him one good time in the heart." She already had an idea of how she was going to put this big boy down. The only thing she had to do now has execute the plan. She looked at the Yeti as it prepared itself to make another attack at her, but before he made it's charge. Some of Valentino's men made an appearance and started to open fire on the Large Yeti. The Yeti put up it's guard shielding itself with his forearms, the round bullets from the rifles were having no luck piecing it's thick hide. You needed something sharp like a sword to really dig into it. Even though she normally would appreciate the help in this situation, these idiots were messing everything up, "Jisha Jisha Rebel Rally!!!" She held her free hand up in the air, and all the guns from the men gravitated towards her. And not only the men's weapons, but the other metal items that were in the area. The stray wrenches, hammers, nails, and the scrap metal all came to form a size-able orb over her head. She then glared over at the men who had fired on the Yeti and then shouted, "You idiots are going to mess up the coat... jackasses!!!!" The men were stunned silent, at least they were until the orb went flying into their bodies rocketing them into the air. After she had gotten rid of them she looked over at the Yeti who began charging at her again, she smiled, and flung the orb of metal at the Yeti saying sarcastically, "Geez... not even a thank you huh? HAHAHAH!" Meanwhile Danielle had flung her anchor into the gears of the mining machine in her location. The gears grinned and churned, before they popped off and flew into the machine causing it to exploded at it's base, making the whole thing fall to the ground. Danielle's anchor shot out from the explosion and went up into the air. As it soared through the sky, it pelted one of the swinging Yeti's in the head making it fall right in front of Danielle along with her Anchor right along side it. Danielle smirked and then said happily, "How lucky is that huh? Let's skin this thing so we can get out of here...?!!" The Yeti that had fallen to the ground started to stand up. Danielle quickly grabbed her Anchor and then prepared herself, she doubted that it would be in a good mood after getting drilled by her over-sized weapon. And she was absolutely right, The Yeti looked at her and it's eyes turn blood red with anger as it started to roar at her. This Yeti was just over half the size of the one Carrie was dealing with, and Danielle didn't too much like the looks of this thing. This was going to be one hell of a fight, were she wouldn't be able to rely solely on her strength. Danielle motioned for the beast to come at her, and indeed it did. It charge her full force. Danielle put out her Anchor to block but the Yeti smacked the Anchor and sent Danielle flying through the door of one of the adobe houses in this underground city. Danielle who had just broken through someone's kitchen table stood up slowly and walked out the house. "That's all you got...you big silver sack of crap?" She taunted the creature as she stood there in the door leaning on the frame with a cocky grin on her face. The Yeti bashed the ground, and then ran at her again. She knew she wasn't going to be able to go toe to toe with this thing per-say so she would have to try and catch it off guard. She would wait until the very last moment to send a counter the Yeti's way. Danny and Heizen both came up with similar plans as to how to stop the Machine from working. They both bashed the control panels in, but Heizen continued to smash the inside of the panel to shit, so they wouldn't be able to repair it, while Danny decided to take a leak inside the panel to short circuit the system. While different, it resulted in the same anyway; the panels caught fire and then exploded, and then fire spread to the rest of the machine, which would eventually weaken the structure and cause them to collapse. After doing their job they both decided to head over to where Carrie was, instead of going to the meeting spot. On their separate journey to reach Carrie the two of them managed to run into each other. They didn't say two words to each other because they already knew what the other was thinking. They had to get to Carrie and protect her from whatever that noise was coming from. As they continued to run through the city, they spotted a Yeti on top of one of the adobe houses. Danny looked up at the Yeti and saw as plain as day, pink frosting around it's mouth. IT WAS HIM! Danny made no hesitation, to deviate from the course, Heizen had to stop to see what he was doing, and he wish he hadn't stopped, because Danny was doing nothing by causing them unneeded hardships. Danny quickly climbed up the side of building, and charge the Yeti, that was at the moment holding a grown man in his hands like a rag doll. The Yeti spotted Danny coming and then threw the man it was holding at him. Danny rolled to the said not losing any momentum, as the man ricocheted off the roof. Then when he was finally on it, he jumped into the air and sent a flying drop kick to it's face, knocking it off balance, and falling off the roof. Danny looked down at the Yeti and then said triumphantly, "That's what you get do-nut thief." Heizen shook his head in shame, as he actually went out of his way to start a fight with the Yeti over do-nuts. Heizen pulled out his guns and then prepared himself. This was going to get ugly and he didn't know whether he wanted to shoot the Yeti or Danny. ================================================= Jisha Jisha Rebel Rally - 4 Type: Attack/Defense Range: Stats: She will use her Devil Fruit Power to Call all Metal objects in the area to her. She will form a ball out of these objects, the size of which depends on the level of her control. From there she can use the ball to defend against attacks, or throw it at her enemy, either as a large ball, or in a storm of metal. |

Heizen slapped Danny across the face with his gun, the two of them were now being chased through the mining city by an enraged Yeti. Heizen's gun had no effect on it, and Danny's daggers weren't long enough to get through it's thick skin. Danny rubbed the back of his head and didn't say a word. He really couldn't because he knew this was his fault, and he accepted it. It was worth it in order to get revenge for his do-nuts, although Heizen did not think it so. Heizen was getting sick of running from this damn thing and knew that he and Danny was going to have to try and find away to beat this thing. They ran by a barrel filled with explosive powder and Heizen slid to a stop, and grabbed hold of Danny's shirt before he could keep going. "What the hell Soran?!!" "Shut up idiot, I have an idea." He said as the Yeti dropped down from the roof top next to the barrel filled with explosive powder. He quickly pulled out his guns and then shot the barrel. The barrel exploded and sent the Yeti flying into the building on the opposite side of him. It broke through the wall, and the side of the building fell down around him. Danny pumped his fist in triumph, and then patted Heizen on the back. He then dusted off his hands as if he had actually did something. Turning to Heizen he said smugly, "Looks like we did it, huh?" "No, WE didn't... plus that wasn't the plan. It was just to buy us sometime...let's go." Heizen said as he started to run around the corner. Danny didn't understand what he meant, until the rumble started to move, and the Yeti's hand burst from it. Danny face cringed as he saw the massive hand spring up. He immediately caught up to Heizen, as he did not want to be there when that thing got out. He knew that he would not be able to handle that thing, not with the weapons he had on him. He ran along side Heizen as he was being filled in on exactly what they needed to do. Danny didn't think that it was going to take the thing down it just sounded like it was just going to get him pissed. Heizen smiled at Danny and then, "Yeah that's the point. That's the first part the second part is." Danielle who was still leaning in the doorway, uppercut the attacking Yeti with her Anchor, just as it neared her to attack. The Yeti's head snapped back and Danielle sent a swinging blow to it's gut. The Yeti then hunched over, and as it did so Danielle slammed her anchor into the ground and did a front flip over it while still holding on to the anchor. She landed on her feet and swung the anchor forward slamming it down on the Yeti's head using the extra momentum she gained from the forward flip to add more power to her attack. The Yeti's head bashed into the stone floor. She looked down at the Yeti, and went to deliver the final blow, but the Yeti swung it arm out at her. Danielle manged to get her anchor in front of her. The blow catapulted Danielle into the air, she flipped while airborne and dug the her anchor into the ground to stop her momentum. She swung around horizontally on the stapled Anchor, and then landed on the ground. She looked up through her brown hair that was dangling in front of her face with and glared at the Yeti. This thing was tough, not only was he very strong, but also very durable. Something she should have been planning for in the first place. She racked her brain, as she thought about what she could do to bring this thing down. She guess if she hit enough times in the head, then that would take it down. She picked her anchor out of the ground and waited for the Yeti to attack. Just as the Yeti was about to, Valentino's men came out of the wood works, and started to attack the Yeti. They all had swords in their hands, and three more came out pushing a cannon. Danielle smirked, that cannon could be useful, but these other losers... not so much. She looked over to see the Yeti handling itself just fine, swatting away the men that were attacking it. At the moment she was far more concerned with the cannon. She charged the men preparing it to fire, much to their surprise. They all panicked in fear, as most would have when seeing someone wielding an Anchor coming their way. She bashed one man in the sternum, and set a strong kick to another, and a hard head butt to the last. She shook her head to clear out the cob webs, as she always got a little dizzy after delivering a head butt, and really didn't know why she always got the urge to use it. She then put a very long fuse into the cannon, and looked over at the Yeti. She got behind the cannon and alined the cannon where she wanted it, she knew she was only going to get one shot at this and had to make it count. She lit the fuse, and then looked up at the Yeti who had just swatted away the last of Valentino's men, and then said, "1 Minute till you die." She and the Yeti then Charged at each other. Danielle had to admit that this was starting to get a little fun, she hadn't fought like this in a long time. She definitely didn't know that her next good fight was against a Yeti. No, really it was a complete surprise. The only down side was she only had 1 minute to enjoy it. Back with Carrie, the large Yeti had snatched the great orb that Carrie had thrown at it, right out the air. And threw at his side and the ball burst opened. Carrie's eyes widened with a surprised smile on her face. The Yeti let out a mighty roar, that was silenced when a smaller ball of clumped metal crashed and burst against it's head. Carrie stood there, with her head tilted digging in her ear with her pinky, saying, "Geez, shut the hell up will ya? That's getting really annoying." The Yeti growled at her and then went on the attack, and charged her with it's arm cocked back ready to attack. The metal orb flew back and connected to Carrie's hand. She dropped the orb at her feet, and then stepped on it. As the Yeti's giant mitt came down on her, she jumped up using the repelling power of her devil fruit, and jumped clean over the Yeti and it's attack. She looked looked down and saw that the Yeti's hand had smashed down on the sphere of clumped metal. Seeing this she held out both of her hands, and used the attracting power her devil fruit. Being that all the weight of the Yeti was now resting on the orb, it wouldn't come to Carrie, instead Carrie would be going to it. She shot down towards the Yeti and then pulled out her swords. She turned them so the hilt of her swords were facing down. The Yeti looked up but far too late to change what was happening. The butt of Carrie's blades drilled into the Yeti's head as Carrie landed on the ground with a thud. The force of her fall set her hat flying off her head, and her hair flapped around her face violently. The force of the blow jerked the Yeti's head down and then snapped it back up as it fell backwards on it rear. Carrie had a vicious smile on her face as she pointed her blade at it and boasted, "Next time I'll be using the business end, big boy." The Yeti was shell shocked by what just happened to him. From the looks of it, this thing had never received a blow quite like that before in it's life. Carrie licked her lips, as this big beast seemed like a big puss. That was her thinking until the Yeti quickly snapped out of it and slammed it's fist on the ground, causing Carrie to lose her balance. The Yeti then reached out to grab the off balanced Carrie, but in it's open palm had the crushed orb of metal imbedded. Carrie lifted up her arm and kicked her feet up off the ground. The repelling force of her fruit powers sent her backwards from the reach of the Yeti. Her feet then hit the ground, and her hear shoot up to look at the Yeti. She put her swords back in it's sheath, and then out stretched her hands. The crushed orb that was embedded into the Yeti's hand came out and towards Carrie, and with a grunt it shoot back at and hit the Yeti square in the face. With a devious smile on her face, Carrie went into a sprint, heading back towards the mining machine. The Yeti who now had blood trickling from his nose, yelled again, and gave chase to Carrie. Looking back she saw her large pursuer chasing after her. As she was running towards the machine, her legs buckled underneath her momentarily, and she had a little dizzy spell. She had never had something like that happen to her. She regained her focus, as she thought to herself, "What the hell was that? That didn't feel right at all." |

Carrie stopped in front of the grinding gears of the machine, and looked at the Yeti charging it's way towards her. She blew her hair out of her face, she as she jumped backwards higher then she normally would, thanks to the metal of the mining machine. She landed on a space in between the gears, with a smile on her face. All this metal around her, made her feel invincible, like she could do anything. It was definitely a perk of having a devil fruit power like this. Although she could no longer enjoy a relaxing swim, without fear of sinking to the bottom of the ocean. The Yeti jumped into the air to and came stomping down on Carrie who had jumped to the side and was now standing with her feet connected to the side of the machine. The weight of the Yeti and the force of his jump, broke the platform that Carrie was standing on, and caused metal pieces to fly into the air. Metal pieces that went flying back into the Yeti's face by Carrie. She had all but giving up using her swords against the massive beast, as she knew her swords would not be able to dig deep enough to kill it. She was going to need something bigger, much bigger. The Yeti screamed as his recent attack failed yet again. He clasped his two hands together and then sent a blow a Carrie. She saw the attack being wound up by the Yeti and then quickly ran up the side of the machine with a playful smile on her face. Yeti looked up at the spectacle and then out reached it's hand and grabbed one of the gears and the whole mechanism started grind and to halt. One of the belts snapped and other pieces of the Machine broke and and flew off in different directions. It pulled the gear out and then launched it at Carrie. She reached out her hand and barely guided the gear over her head and it smashed against the machine. "Not very bright are you?" Carrie responded to the Yeti's foolish actions of trying to kill her with metal items. The Yeti jumped onto the the machine and then began to came up. Just as it began to climb there was an explosion at the base. Carrie continued to run up the side of the machine, and the Yeti followed swinging around the machine moving up in a spiral. All the while the weight of the Yeti, and the weakened base was causing the Machines to buckle on the side where the Yeti had ripped off the gear. Carrie came to stop when the Machine started to tilt to the side. Carrie stared to run to the opposite side of the Machine so she wouldn't be crushed and then said, "And here we go." When she got to the other side and stopped the Yeti swung itself around one more time, and landed on the the now leaning machine. When it landed the machine jerked down a little more. Carrie lost her balance a little bit and with a big smile on her face egging the Yeti on. The only thing this thing knew how to do was attack and attack. It was a wild animal in every sense of the word; no matter how strong it was, it would never be able to beat Carrie with just brute force. Yeti slammed it's fist on the side of the machine and yelled as it began to charge at Carrie again. Heizen and Danny were now hiding from the enraged Yeti that was searching for them. The Yeti sniffed the air, and then his head jerked over to where it smelled a familiar scent. It jumped into the air, and then landed on a group of barrels, where it thought Danny and Heizen were. Underneath it's feet, was Danny's shirts. Suddenly the ground around the Yeti was set a ablaze, and in a few steps in front of it, Danny was standing there with his winter coat on, but shirtless, and Heizen was there with a torch showing that he was the one that set the area around the Yeti on fire. The Yeti started to shout in pain as his feet were burning. It then stepped out of the fire and danced around a bit as it tried to cool it's feet off just a little bit. Danny just like any classy young man would shot the Yeti the bird. The Yeti's eyes were as red as rubies as he was over come with rage. He looked at his attackers, and let out a head splitting yell that filled the area. His yelling was cut short as three daggers entered into his mouth. It's eyes began to widened in shock of this attack, but it's eyes wouldn't even fully open before they were shot out of it's head. Heizen stood there with his guns now smoking, he blew the smoke from the gun and then put them back in his holsters behind him. He then looked over at Danny and then said, "See I told you? Those things get mad, and they stand there and scream at the top of their lungs. It's a lot easier to a target that not moving right?" Danny shrugged his shoulders annoyed at Heizen because it was actually a good idea. Getting the Yeti mad like that was the right way to go. They had to hit that thing precisely if they were going to take it down, and with Heizen's plan they were able to do that. He walked over to the now dead Yeti, and looked over it. Danny then looked back at Heizen and then asked, "How the hell are we going to skin this thing? It's skin is really tough." Heizen had a curious look on his face, as he really didn't have the tools to do so, and didn't know anything about skinning anything, let alone a Yeti. Now it was starting to look like killing the Yeti was the easy part. "45 seconds!"Danielle shouted at the Yeti as she side stepped one of it's strikes and sent a downward blow crashing in on it's head. The Yeti hit the Ground and stood straight back up back handing Danielle. She was taken off her feet, as she hit the ground and rolled before getting up on her feet. She wiped the blood from her lips, and then said as she spit the remainder of the blood out, "38 seconds!" The Yeti huffed as he jumped up onto a near by building and hopped across several others before find himself behind Danielle. He then jumped down to attack, but Danielle quickly rolled forward, avoiding the blow. As the beast was still gathering itself she threw her weapon at it's face. The anchor hit it full on, and it's head snapped back from the blow. Danielle took advantage of it's new found daze, and charged the Yeti again. She grabbed hold of her anchor that had fell at the Yeti"s feet, and then using it as a hold she sent both of her feet into it's chin. As she felt her feet digging into the Yeti's chin she shouted, "20 seconds!" Danielle then started to hop backwards to get herself into position. She placed her weapon on her shoulder as the Yeti got up from it's slump and then aggressively went to attack Danielle. The Yeti swung down with 2 clasped fist, but as the attack was coming down, Danielle's anchor was going up into it's face. The Yeti opened it's mouth and bit down on the anchor. Danielle smiled, as she jerked down on the anchor, and punched the Yeti in the face. She then said, "You're learning, but not fast enough. 1 second!" She jerked down on the anchor even harder then before and as she did so the sound of a cannon's fire could be heard, no more then a couple of feet from where the two of them were. She was crouched on the floor and the Yeti's was eye level with the cannon, still biting down on the Anchor. The cannon ball shot out and blast the Yeti full on in the face. The blast of the cannon at point blank range set the Yeti into the air, forcing the Yeti to release it's biting hold on the anchor. Danielle held on to her weapon as the Yeti soared through the sky, thanks in large part to the cannon ball, that crushed it skull. Some of the Yeti's teeth were still attached the anchor, much too Danielle's chagrin. She stood up and played with her ears a little; being that close the the cannons was definitely not good for her ears. Something that she maybe should have thought about before hand. "Alright now let's get to skinning this bad boy." She said to herself, as she pulled out a dagger and made her way over to the body. This was going to be a lot of work, but unlike her idiot brother, Danielle was skilled when it came to things such as skinning, so she would be able to get the job done, even on this thick skinned Yeti with the dagger that she had. |

Heizen and Danny now stood over a the skinned carcass of a Yeti. The two of their hands were covered in blood, and they had disgusted looks on their face. It was as disgusting as they thought it was when they saw Carrie doing it with the Black Wolf. They were also as terrible at skinning the damn thing as they thought they would be too. The end of the skin was tattered and torn, there were blood stains in the middle of it; the damn thing just look bad. When stretched out the skin was more then twice the size of Heizen and Danny it took the both of them to roll the skin up and to carry it on their shoulders. Danielle on the other hand had a much easier time skinning her beast. The skin was the exact opposite of the two other idiots in the distance. The skin had next to no blood on it, and the ends were finely cut, and there was no tears to be seen. She looked over at the dead skinless Yeti, and then rolled up the skin and strapped it to her anchor with a rope. After getting everything set, she packed her anchor and then began to make her way to over to where Carrie was. Carrie and the large Yeti was now standing on top of the rumble that use to be the mining machine. The Yeti's face was bruised up, while Carrie on the other hand was perfectly fine, aside from her heavy breathing. Trying not to get crushed by this rampaging beast, was difficult work. Just one blow from the Yeti with it's size could possibly kill her, or at the very least she wouldn't be able to defend herself anymore. So it was both mentally and physically draining, but all that was finally going to come to an end. The stage was set for Carrie to finish this thing off. Some of Valentino's men was standing there in shock and awe. They didn't think that anyone would be able to handle that thing. The Yeti let out a couple of breathes as drool dropped from it's jagged teeth. Carrie looked around scanning over the rubble, the Yeti just stood there and watched her, he had learned in their brief encounter that blindly charging that small thing usually resulted in something bashing against his head out of nowhere. It was a feeling that he didn't like and one he did want to be feeling again. It also didn't want the metal flinging demon around anymore. It was going to devour it whole, so that it would no longer be a threat to his territory. "There it is!" Carrie sounded as she seemed to have found what she was looking for. She held her hands out over to her right the rumble started to shake violently. Out of the rumble and large metal pole came out. It seemed to be 1 of many pieces that had broken off of the mining machine when it was destroyed. The large piece of metal levitated over her out stretched hands. The mouths of the men watching all drop to the ground, what kind of monster was this women? The Yeti snorted at the sight of the metal obstruct. With a smile on her face Carrie let out a loud shout, and flung her hands forward. The large metal pole went flying at the Yeti. With a a grunt the Yeti grabbed hold of the pole with both of it's hand. It then threw it over to the side and was about to let out a yell of triumph until it was stabbed through the heart, by a fast moving sharp pointed piece of metal. Carrie stood there still at a distance. The Yeti's eyes rolled into the back of it's head as it fell over backwards. With the Yeti now dead and the pole sticking on from it's chest. Carrie was really tired from all of the running around, and she hadn't used her fruit power for such an extended period of time like this before. She took a deep breath and then plopped herself down were she was standing. She looked over at the Yeti, and sighed as she thought about how much work it was going to be to skin that big son-of-bitch. "H-H-Hey...who are you? Why are you here?" The man standing around the scene of the destroyed machine and dead Yeti asked. They all stood their with their guns pointed and weapons drawn. They knew damn well what she could do to iron and metal, but they had to have something in their hands if they were going to try and go up against a monster. Carrie looked at all the men surrounding her and then sighed. Could she ever get a break? And these idiots were scared shitless, but all of them were just trying to put on a tough face. Carrie shot them a glare and then said, "The Banshee... tell Valentino this place belongs to me now." Most of the men there had been in this mining city for awhile now, so they hadn't heard of the Banshee. They were, however a few there that were new, and they knew full well who she was. Even if the vast majority of them didn't know who she was before, they knew who she was now. They all started to back away slowly, then Carrie stared at the lot of them and then asked annoyed, "Are you still here? Shooo! Shooo!" She sent sharp metal shards flying at the crowd, and in a complete over reaction, they all screamed out in fear and ran through the large crack where the Yeti had enter from. Carrie rolled her eyes as she leaned back and looked up at the ceiling of the mining city. As she looked up, she could see Yeti swinging from the hanging rocks making their way back through the crack. Carrie guessed that their little raid was over with. They were now probably going to go back to their home, where ever that was. She also began to wonder how many different group of Yeti were roaming around this island. Her daydreaming was cut short when she heard the sounds of foot steps coming her way. This could be rather annoying if it was more of Valentino's men. "Serah! SERAH!!!!" The voice of Danny could be head as he and Heizen came into the sight of Carrie. Carrie was a bit upset with the two of them, because she was positive that they were suppose to meet her in the center of the city. She saw that they had a Yeti skin of their own, and it looked horrible. She was about to yell at the two of them but just as she was opening up her mouth to do so, Danielle came in contact with the group. With a smile on her face she said, "Oh, good Carrie you're alright." "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" "Because I heard the loudest most terrible roar coming for this location." "Yeah it was that big guy over there." Carrie pointed at the dead body of the large Yeti laying there. They all looked at the giant Yeti and their eyes widened at the sight of it. Heizen dropped his end of the pelt he was holding, and Danny fell backwards under the weight of the skin. Danielle, was half way between a smile and a frown, Carrie had bested her again. That Yeti was massive. They all continued to stand there and stare. Carrie raised an eyebrow at the 3 of them, and then asked, "Are you going to stand there, or are you going to help me skin this thing?" Danielle dropped her own skin, and then went over to the body of the Yeti to help Carrie skin her quarry. Danny pushed the rolled up pelt off of him, and he and Heizen made their way over them and try and give them some assistance. Both Carrie and Danielle motioned for them to stay where they were. They didn't want the two of them anywhere near the hide of this creature. While Carrie and Danielle where skinning the Yeti, and Heizen and Danny were standing around, the men of Valentino were setting up explosives. They weren't going to let that women take control of Valentino's mining operation. If they were lucky they might be able to kill her in the process. |

It had taken a good while for the two of them to completely skin the the Yeti. After skinning it they both leaned back and caught their breath. Carrie joked about how skinning it was more difficult then actually killing the damn thing. The two of them laughed, because they found the situation they were in to be pretty funny. They went looking for one Yeti and found a whole horde of them, and to top it off, they had Danny to thank for getting them all here. The two of them would never tell him that though. They started to roll the large fur up, and just as they finished, the entire place started to rumble, and pieces of rock and earth started to fall from the ceiling. The sounds of explosions could be heard in the distance, Carrie and Danielle looked at each, and they both started to move. Danielle took the skin they had just finished with, which now looked like a huge rug, along with the one that was attached to her anchor. The only way they were going to get out of here with all three skins was with her holding two of them. Danny and Heizen quickly picked up the ends of their fur, and began to run after Danielle and Carrie. As they were running Danny asked, "Why is this place starting to come down?" "I saw a couple of men fleeing when I was taking down the Yeti... I'm guess they think we're going to make this place ours. So instead of letting us have it, they going to try an bury us in here?" Carrie responded, as she made her way over to where their bags were. She quickly picked up her own as they other grabbed theirs as well, and made their way over to the large crack located where they had found Carrie. On their way there more explosions could be heard and the place around them was starting to come down. They passed the carcass of the Yeti, and jumped over the debris from the destroyed digging machine. Running towards the crack Heizen shouted, "Oh crap, that pillar looks like it's about to fall. It's huge." They all looked up and saw the giant rock cracking and beginning to fall. If they didn't make it through, that hanging rock was more then large enough to block their way. They all started to run even faster, and the rock fell from the ceiling. They went into a slide, just making it through as the Rock hit the ground. As they came out of the other side, this place was in no better condition then the mining city they had just left. Walls were crumbling and the whole area seemed to be caving in. Carrie looked around for a way out and saw foot prints on the ground. "Come on, these look fresh maybe they can lead us lout of here." She pointed down at the foot prints and ran to follow them before this entire place came down. She knew that the men that had set this explosion must have had a way out to the surface. It was the only way they would be able to get the materials out to actually sell them. She was sure that these foot prints where their way out. They followed the foot print up a step slop that took them to and even higher enclosure. They stopped when some of Valentino's men came out to attack them. Carrie made quick work of them with her blades, and continued on with the others following close behind her. They continued to follow the foot steps higher and higher , and soon came to a stone walk away that was over looking the mining city. As they got there they were ambushed by more of Valentino's men. "Go across I'll fend them off." Carrie shouted as the group began to run across the the stone path. Carrie bashed the head of one of the men with the hilt of her blade, and parried off the attack of another while slicing him with her other sword. One man went to attack, but both he and Carri lost their balance when another tremor crashed through the area. Carrie regaining her balance first, kicked the man off the ledge sending him plummeting to his death. The others had made to the other side of the stone walk way, and Carrie was now running to meet them. When she was nearly there, a rock fell from the ceiling and broke the path in front of her. Without a moments hesitation Carrie jumped. The distance she had to cover was great, too great for her reach. Danielle seeing this, quickly tossed back one of the skins to Heizen and Danny who already had their hands full, and the dove out with her anchor. Carrie quickly grabbed hold of the skin that was attached to the anchor with a sigh of relief, as Danielle pulled her up to safety. Carrie patted her on the shoulder thanking her and then quickly went on the move again. They continued to run and as they ran through this new area, things were starting to become much more clear. They could tell by the dung pile, and bones, that this was this group of Yeti's home. The Valentino pirates must have invaded this place, and the Yeti's were fighting to protect their territory. Carrie looked around for a way out and saw someone running around the corner. She quickly followed after them, and Danielle, Heizen and Daddy were close behind. When they turned the corner there was another man going through a fenced door. Carrie ran after them, went to open up the door, but it wouldn't move. It seemed that the man had locked the door, and she couldn't even get the damn thing to budge. She could unlock with her devil fruit powers, but that would rouse suspicions. But if she didn't open the door they were probably going to die in this place. The walls around were still coming down, and she was on the verge of just using her powers when Danielle out of nowhere shouted for Carrie to move, and she slammed her anchor down on the lock of the door. The door bent in where Danielle had struck and Carrie was able to kick the door in with the help of her iron repelling powers. They now made their way up the corridor of steps. This was clearly man made. They must have made it so they could easily come back and forth to this place. They finally reached the top of the steps and opened up a compartment door. When it was opened they had come from out of the Bark of a large evergreen. They looked around however and had no idea where they were. They all dropped to their knees as they went to take a breath. Back inside the collapsing walling of that under ground world, the large castle like stone formation that the group had saw when they first encountered that winter wonder land, crumbled and fell. It would seem that Valentino's mining city was right beneath the very formation they had intended to go to. And now all those precious metals where now buried under tons of rock. "Alright let's see if we can get our bearings and..." Carrie fainted were she was standing and Heizen quickly ran over to her side to see what was wrong with her. At first Danielle suggested that she was just tired. But that was not the case, she was burning up and her she looked very flushed. Heizen looked down at Carrie's cut hand and saw that it was still bleeding, he opened up the torn glove, and looked at the wound. He turned to the group and then said in a worried tone, "It's that wound she got earlier, when fighting those wolves. It's defiantly infected. We gotta get her some help now." The group nodded in agree as they set up a sled type construction, using Danielle's Anchor and some rope. Danielle pulled Carrie as Heizen and Danny frantically looked around to see if there was anywhere they could go. They were in the middle of the Winter Wonderland with no idea of where to go. Carrie had let that wound go untreated for far too long, and she was suffering for it. |

Carrie's eyes opened up and when she looked up there was an old women standing over her. The old women didn't say a word to Carrie she just simply smiled at her as she left the room. Carrie sat up and then held her head, she was wondering where she was and why she was feeling so groggy. She struggled to try and remember how she got here, when Heizen and the others entered in to the room with smiles on their faces. "Hey, guys why are we here?" "Why are we here she says...I swear. We're here because you almost died!" Danielle responded with a sarcastic tone in her voice. Carrie had passed out because she had suffered an infection from the cut that she received from the Black Wolf. The infection had made her ill, and she almost died from it. They walked through the Winter Wonderland for about 2 days before they were able to find this old woman’s home, and they were extremely lucky that she had some medical training, and was able to help nurse Carrie back to health. They were only lucky to find one of the very few people who actually wanted to live in the Winter Wonderland. "You had us really worried. I told you that you should have treated that wound." Heizen said with deep concern in his voice. It would have been awful and just totally lame if she died from a cut delivered by some mutant Wolf. Speaking of the wolf, Danielle left the room and then came back with a finely made black leather jacket. Carrie held it in her hands and smiled, it was a much finer quality the the leather jacket she had, after all she didn't have much money on her so she had to buy it cheap. But this one, was amazing. She then looked up at Danielle and then said, "This is Balto right? How did you made it so fast?" "So fast? Sweetheart you've been in and out of it, for like half a month. I had time to make that, and fix up the botched job that Soran and Danny did with their skin." Carrie's eyes widened when she heard what Danielle had said. She been out that long? It was hard to believe, but it would explain why she was feeling so groggy. She smiled at everyone that was gathered there and noticed that they had some patch work done on them as well. She asked about what had happened to them and Danny was the one to respond this time, "Well we ran into a bit of trouble trying to get you here. We got into a scuffle with some of those stranglers from that underground mining town." "Normally they would have been no problem, but with you injured most of our attentions were drawn to protecting you?" Heizen finished off Danny's statement for him, much to Danny's displeasure. The two of them had been fighting like little boys ever since they got here. Danielle found it slightly cute, and a bit of a relief because now she wouldn't have to deal with her brother's non-sense. Carrie on the other hand was feeling a little down that she had caused the three of them so much trouble, and it was all because of the lies she had to tell in order to keep everything afloat. Carrie started to stand up and then said, "Well I'll get dress and then we can head out... wait do we know which way Iris City is?" Everyone explained to Carrie that they were actually a lot closer to East Caruncle, and that they had decided to go there and then take the train to Iris City. Carrie agreed with the plan that they had set, and then everyone left out of the room for Carrie to get changed. Everyone that is except for Danielle. While Carrie was putting on her clothes Danielle said to her, "There's something I want to talk to you about. When ever we can get some free time together." Carrie didn't understand why they couldn't just talk about it right now. It was strange, and she was getting an uneasy feeling by it. She agreed to speak with her afterward. If it was something that she would need to worry about then she was sure that Danielle would have been quick to discuss it with her. |

It had been hours since the group left the old woman's cabin, and they were now on the train half way to Iris City. Deciding to separate themselves from the boys Danielle and Carrie were in their own separate train compartment. Carrie and Danielle really weren't too talking much, but they defiantly could hear the sounds the boys playing around in the compartment next door to them. Carrie just shook her head at their immaturity. Carrie turned her attention over to Danielle, in the time she had been sitting around on this train she had figured out what it was she wanted to talk about. She lifted up her left hand that had been wrapped up by the old woman in the cabin, she pointed to her left hand and then said, "It's the tattoo isn't it? That's what you wanted to talk about?" "Yes it is... Why do you have that tattoo?" Danielle had asked Serah about it. She knew about the Banshee, extensively. The Banshee who had just came onto the scene and had already killed so many Marines. The Banshee who had blown up a Marine Headquarters, in Larquetta no less. It was the target that her and Danny took the vacation for, they were going to spent that time preparing themselves and training their bodies to go after her. They weren't going take any chances going up against someone who managed to escape, and get the better of the famed Commodore Steps. She knew all about her powers and abilities, and knew about the only distinguishable characteristic that had been documented on her, since no one had seen her face. "It's a marriage tattoo..." "I see! I wasn't aware you were married." "He died, before me and Soran decided to become Bounty Hunters." "I see. Well I'm sorry to hear that." Danielle said with little enthusiasm in her voice. Letting Carrie know that she wasn't buying what she was saying. Danielle sighed heavily and then then quickly wiped out a dagger and threw at Carrie's face. Off of pure reflex, Carrie stopped the dagger with her fruit powers. The blade levitated in front of her, and with a smirk on her face, it floated down into Danielle's lap. She had figured it out the moment that she saw that tattoo on Carrie's hand. There was no way someone as skill as Carrie, would have been a rookie bounty hunter. She was too calm to collected. Now it made sense who she was, and how she was able to do some of the things that she had done so far. How she exploded off of her Anchor, while taking down the Polar bear, how she was able to skewer a Yeti of that size, with a pole, without a scratch. How she was able to toy around with the large Black Wolf. Danielle turned and then looked out the window at the Winter Wonderland; from this side it looked far more beautiful then it was. However, she had to admit that it was a lot of fun going through that winter hell with Carrie and Heizen. It was precisely the reason all of this was so hard and complicated. She trusted Carrie with her life, and to be quite honest she still did. She looked over at the Banshee, as Carrie was the one to ask, "So what are we going to do now?" "I don't know... if you're the Banshee, and that means Soran must be Heizen "The Trigger Reaper", right? You two are wanted criminals, the very kind that me and my brother hate." Danielle responded with a stern voice. She really didn't know what they were going to do with Carrie and Heizen, what were they suppose to do? The two of them sat there in silence, for what seemed like forever. Danielle was trying to figure out how someone like her could become the Banshee, or was this entire persona, just fabricated? Carrie looked at the look on her face and then said, "I can tell you the story, if you'd like. Tell you why I am the way I am. Though I doubt it would change anything." Danielle's eyes widened, as she was very interested in her story. She shook her head as she was ready to hear how the Banshee came into being. Carrie then began to describe the details of what happened to her as a Marine, and what had happened up until this point and time. Danielle looked distraught as she heard what Carrie had went through. She even went as far as to actually telling her real name to Danielle. After Carrie had finished, Danielle was stunned, she didn't believe she was lying. She wasn't naive enough to believe that there were no Marines with questionable motives and some that were just thugs in uniforms. she had encountered many of her own, Danielle then said, "That's a sad story Carrie. I am truly sorry to hear that. But that doesn't excuse what you have done. Some of those Marines were innocent, and you took their lives all the same." "I've tried to spare as many as I can, but this is war. Casualties are to be expected." "You don't really believe that do you?" Carrie looked away from Danielle and then said in a low ashamed voice, "I do." Danielle hopped up from where she was sitting and then stared Carrie down as she began to shout at her, "And what about my father? Was he an acceptable casualty?" "I had nothing to do with your father. Don't get this situation confused." Carrie responded calmly. So calmly that it forced Danielle calm her own self and sit back down in her sit. Carrie had nothing against this town, or the Marines in it. It seemed to be a fair enough place to live, the marines didn't try to abuse their power, probably thanks in large part to the bounty hunters present. This island was one of the most stable that she had been through there was no need to change anything or to stir up any trouble. "You seem to be misunderstanding something. I not trying to abolish the World Government, that would lead to nothing but chaos. I'm trying to tear it down, and rebuild it the way it should be." "So you intend to do the same with this Island as well. If that's the case I have no choice but to.." "I have no intention of staying on this island after I get the information that I came for. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'd say that this place is fine as is." Carrie cut off Danielle sentence before she could give her bold declaration of war against Carrie. Danielle was at a lost of words at the moment. It would seem that Carrie really was looking out for what was best for everyone, although she really could not approve of what she was doing, or accept that she would be passing judgement on every island she ventured to. She defiantly could not approve of her killing off Marines, she didn't care what her motives were she would not accept that, she had made a promise to her brother, and to her father. She sighed and then said, "Well I made a promise to Serah and Soran that I would help them get the information that they needed. I NEVER break a promise. But after we get what you have come for. I want you and your lacking to met me in the Winter Wonderland were we fought the Wolves. You Understand?" Carrie shook her head in understanding. She feared that this might happen, and she didn't know how she was going to prevent it. She had meant two people that she thought would be long time friends. Yes she would have to change her appearance, and pretend to be someone else every time she came to visit, but they would still be friends none the less. Now everything had gone south, and she may have to do something that she was going to regret. All this time Heizen and Danny remained clueless to the conversation going with their female counterparts. Of, course Carrie and Danielle would fill them in on the details when the time was right. |

They finally made their way back into Iris City, and they were drawing quite a bit of attention. Everyone was staring at them because they were hauling around Yeti furs. Many of the people have never seen a Yeti let alone gotten a glimpse of it luxurious fur. The silver hairs shined in the City Lights, and quite a few women looked on in amazement at it's beauty. Danielle had done a good job cleaning them, giving them an even more primed shine. Danny took advantage of the woman’s interest in the coat to try and start up conversations with them. Conversations that were cut short by a jab in the small of his back by Heizen. There was a familiar group among the crowd watching. The three men that Carrie and Heizen had embarrassed, when they had first arrived were staring them down, their eyes filled with evil intent. "Look at those two pricks. They think their hot shit do they? We'll show what happened when you mess with us." The leader of the group said as the other two silently agreed by nodding their heads. Eventually Carrie and the group, arrived at Tear Tavern, when they entered they we're greeted much like they had been greeted through the whole of the city. Many of them were muttering about how they were actually able to complete Westlin's crazy ass request. Westlin on the other hand had a grin on his face stretching from ear to ear. He had a feeling that the 4 of them were going to be showing back up, but he didn't expect them to come back with 3 Yeti furs, this was quite the shock indeed. Carrie raised an eye brow at him and then asked, "So which one do you want?" "What? I only get one?" "Hell yes you're only getting one. We're selling the other two from some Beli." Carrie responded to their elderly task master. Westlin chuckled loudly to himself and then handed Carrie a folded up piece of paper. He explained to her that everything she needed to know was on there, and that she should have no problem locating her target. Westlin then decided to take the fur of the Yeti that Heizen and Danny had killed. He figured that the young adventures would be able to make more money with the larger pelts. Carrie smiled at Heizen as they finally got what they came here for in the first place. Well in all honesty they came here to jack some bounty hunters, but that thought had all but left Carrie's mind completely. She was sure they would be able to get some really good money from these Yeti skins. As the group was leaving the tavern Westlin called out to get Carrie's attention. Carrie made her way over to the man and he motioned for her to sit down next to him and then he said, "Did she find out who you really are yet? From the way the two of you were looking at each other when you entered in, I'd say the answer was yes." Carrie's eyes opened wide, as the old man seemed to have know who she was the entire time. Carrie went to reach for her swords, because she was sure that she was going to have to fight her way out of here, but the old man put his hand over her own and continued on, "Relax, girly... I'm an information broker, with no customers, well 4 customers now I suppose, who else am I going to tell?" Carrie took her hand off of her weapon as she supposed he was correct. If he was going to rat her out he would have done so by now, and she wouldn't have been any the wiser. Carrie looked at the old man and then shook her head, yes in response to his original question. Westlin sighed and then went on to say, very matter of factly, "And now I bet she's asked you to met her somewhere private... most likely to have a final confrontation. I told you making friends like that was going to make things difficult." "Yeah, but without friends like them, we've wouldn't have been able to make it through." "I'm sure that's true. Even so, now you're going to have to fight them. And those two won't stop until either you or they are dead." Carrie looked down at the bar as she knew what the old was saying was true. She was either going to have to kill or be killed by Danielle to make this come to an end. She was hoping that their was some other way to resolve this, and Westlin suggested that she turn herself in. That way she wouldn't be forced to kill Danielle. Carrie scuffed at the thought and then said, "No, way. What I'm trying to accomplish is more important then just two people." "You say that so coldly, but your eyes seem to be struggling with the thought." "Dammit, shup up." Carrie said back to Westlin who seemed to know exactly what say to get under her skin, but he was right. She knew her cause was more important then just two people, but she just couldn't see herself killing Danny or Danielle, it felt weird just thinking about it. Westlin looked at Carrie's face and then asked her a very potent question, "Are the lives of those two more important then the lives of the many men you have killed until this point? Will you let the lives you took be for nothing, just so you won't hurt your friends? The very same friends who are now now out for your blood?" Carrie stood up from her sit as she already knew the answer to his questions. Her answer was no. She made a vow that she was going to turn the World Government on it's head, and that she had cut down anyone or anything that stood in her way. Danny and Danielle were no different. She began to walk away from Westlin and then said, "I get it old man, but why are you helping me so much?" Westlin looked up at her with his lips poked out and then he said, "Well you're my favorite customer, of course. Why wouldn't I help?" They both began to laugh as Carrie decided it was time to make her way out of the tavern and to go find Heizen. She didn't have to go very far; as soon as she was outside she caught sight of Heizen, struggling to carry both of the remaining skins. Carrie smiled and the rushed over to help him. They both grab the ends of the rolled up skins, and placed it on their shoulders. Heizen had explained to Carrie that Danielle had taken Danny and said they they could take all the beli from the sell of those skins. However, Carrie knew that she just wanted some time to explain the situation to Danny. She also thought that right now was the perfect time to fill Heizen in on what was going on. Heizen and Carrie had just finished selling off the two hides, and Carrie was now holding a bag full of beli. She tossed the bag up into the air and caught it, and then put in into her leather jacket pocket. They had made some good money off those furs, although not enough to go running through that frozen hell again. After getting everything set Carrie explained everything that had happened between her and Danielle on the train to Heizen, and from the look on his face he wasn't too happy about hearing it. He had taking a liking to the two of them much like Carrie had, and he really didn't want to have to kill them. But if he had to in order to protect the identity of Carrie he would do so in a heart beat. "We're going to be meeting them where we fought the wolves in the Winter Wonderland. Be ready, the only way we'll be able to leave is if those two or dead, or pretty close to it." Carrie warned Heizen as he shook his head in understanding. He knew what he would have to do and he had already mentally prepared himself for it. The two of them spent the rest of the day gathering their things. After the final showdown was over with they knew that they were going to have to get out of this place as soon as possible, because if two bounty hunters went missing on Eye Island, especially if they were Danny and Danielle, then there was only a matter of time before someone went looking for them, and the people who last saw them. They would need to be far away from the island by that point. "WHAT!?!!!YOU'RE LYING!!!! THERE'S NO WAY!!"Danny on the other hand was not taking the news of who Serah and Soran really were very well. In fact one could say he was in complete denial even after Danielle told him that Carrie pretty much came out and told her. Danny wasn't going to hear any of it, he definitely wasn't going entertain the the thought of trying to kill her either. Even if she was the Banshee, she hadn't been anything but kind to the two of them. Danielle agreed with him to that in, but she had to remind him of the promise that both of them had made to each other about bringing all those who kill Marines to justice. "Even though she does seem like special case, and I can't really blame her point of view, and she does seem like a really nice person, and..." "You like them too Danielle, just admit that you don't want to do this." "I don't... b-but, we have to." Danielle argued Danny, but much less aggressively that she maybe was suppose to. It was clear to both of them that this was something neither one of them wanted to do, but they absolutely had to do it, otherwise it would be a betrayal to their father's memory, and the the promise that they made. However it would also be a betrayal of the friendship that they had formed with Carrie and Heizen. They were stuck thinking about how they father would feel about the whole situation. Would his heart break if they choose their friends over his memory, or would he be more upset about them betraying a friend. Danielle wanted to figure out a way where she would be able to please both versions of her father at once, but that was starting to look next to impossible. |

Carrie's stood there in the blowing wind, her blonde hair flowing with the white snow. Her new black leather jacket clung to her body, as her eyes pierced through the snow to see the two that laid ahead of her. There stood Danielle and Danny. Danielle stood there with her brown leather dress, with a belt drape across the middle, and her usual leather brown cowboy hat, and gloves. Of course, dug into the snow next to her was that Anchor. Next to her stood Danny, he was dress a little different today. He was in all white, from his bandanna to the shoes on his feet. And around his shoulders and waists he was adorn with a multitude of throwing daggers, all of them had white blades. Danielle looked over at Carrie and then said with a smile on her face, "I must say, that does look very good on you... by the way, where's Soran... I mean Heizen?" "Thank you, you did a splendid job, it's a very nice fit. And he should be here any moment. I went on ahead to make sure there were no traps waiting for us." Carrie responded as she gave the signal for Heizen to come out. Danielle looked at her strangely, she wasn't surprised that she would check for traps but she was surprise that she would be checking for the traps herself and not sending in her men to do so. Was she that confident in her abilities, or did what happen on Larquette make her more apprehensive about how she used her friends on the battle field? From out of the blowing snow came what looked like the anti-Danny. Heizen stood next to Carrie in his all black attire. His scarf no longer covering up his face, but remained wrapped around his neck. As the scarf blew in the wind, Danielle got a good look at Heizen's face. She stared at him for a little while and then started to blush uncontrollably. She cleared her throat and then said to Heizen a little more then embarrassed, "Um... so that's what you really look like huh?" She quickly whipped her head over to the side as she she whispered to her self and holding her head in her hands, "C-cute!!, he's so cute!" Danny hovered over his sister's shoulder to take at look to see what was wrong with her. His face turned a little sour, as he groaned at his sister in shame. She was swooning over the enemy, after she so vigorously, warned him not to. Carrie looked over at Heizen and then started to giggle a little bit. It would appear as if Heizen had a new fan. Maybe she had done too good of a job, when it came to making him over. Carrie cleared her throat to get Danielle to return to focus. She immediately did so and turned her attention over to the two of them in front of her. She was not going to be unrevealed by some good looking man, she had a job to do. "So how do you wanna do this? Two on two, one on one, or just go at it until one side wins?"Carrie asked as she looked at Danielle with a smile on her face, Danielle looked at Carrie and thought about it for a moment. She had given Carrie a formal challenge, and so this question wasn't to abnormal to ask. She just didn't know how to approach the situation. She didn't want her or Daddy fighting Carrie, or Heizen alone. Danielle knew that she and her brother worked together very well, so they should have the advantage in a two on two match up, but Carrie would know that, and should expect that she would choose a two on two match. So she was either planning something, or was extremely confident in her and Heizen's teamwork. Maybe she was just using a false confidence to try and lure them into a one on one fight, where she knew that they would have a better chance of winning; maybe that was her real objective. Danielle made an annoyed noise, figuring out what was going on in this woman’s head was a difficult task. She was very smart and a quick thinker, there was really no telling why she did the things she did, and that was probably why she was so difficult to catch. Danielle decided to clear all of that out of her head. There was no way that she was going to out think her, so the best thing to do was to let everything go and just play to her strength. She took a deep breath and then said with a smile, "Two on two... obviously." "Good job... okay." Carrie responded much to Danielle's surprise."Good job"? Was she testing her, was this just to get into her head? That's exactly what it seemed like when those words left her mouth. Danielle looked over at Carrie as she seemed to be telling Heizen something. Everything she did was for a reason, she was truly frightening; she was far more then just that incredible devil fruit power that she had yet to really see with her own eyes. Now that she thought about it, that was probably why she was so confidence to go up against the two of them. It that was the case then she would be in for a very big surprise. "It's really simple... two on two, they'll kick our asses. One on one, we have a shot. So separate them as soon as possible." Carrie told Heizen rather plainly, it was a simple strategy, but one she was sure that would be effective. She would take Danielle, and she would live Danny to to Heizen, since Heizen would have an easier time following his movements. Heizen and Carrie broke away from each-other and lined up in front of their counter parts. Edited by bluewingedD, Mar 6 2012, 12:53 AM.

The four of them were still standing there just looking at each-other. It was like they both were waiting on the other group to make the first move. Strong winds blew through the Winter Wonderland. It would appear as if there was going to be another storm coming their way, something that Danielle had planned for, since her and her brother were adept at fighting in conditions like this. The Evergreens shook violently, and you could here the cries of wolves in the distant as if to say they would be feasting on the flesh of the loser. The winds quickly change and blew the opposite direction and as it did so, Carrie began her charge with Heizen following behind her. They crossed paths back and forth, as Danny crouched with his hands on the blades strapped to his body. He slung his arms out with a grunt and the white bladed daggers went flying towards Carrie and Heizen. Danny threw the blades so the wind curved them directly at his targets. Carrie glanced over at the daggers that were difficult to see in this blowing snow and then held out her hand to repel them, but the Daggers did not change course, Carrie's eyes widened and then said, "They aren't Metal!" As soon as she said this Heizen side stepped over to her in a low position, and she rolled over the top of his back as he aimed his weapons at to approaching daggers and then shot them out of the air, and then quickly turn his aim on Danny. The bullets from Heizen hit the board body of Danielle's Anchor as she block their path, but the bullets that bounce into the air, came rocketing back down on the two of them, much to their surprise. This was clearly the work of Carrie. Luckily Danny caught a glimpse of the bullets stopping in mid air and quickly pulled out two more daggers, and then deflected them off into the ground. Carrie and Heizen continued their assault while Danielle and Danny were preoccupied with the bullets. Carrie drew here two Swords, and as the two of them were drawn, her dagger floated out of it's sheath, and floated around the sword in her right hand. She slash her right sword sending out the dagger, and it was blocked by Danielle's anchor, but it didn't ricochet off, instead it stuck to it. Carrie slid to a stop, about ten feet away and then pulled back on the dagger and the anchor using her devil fruit power. Danielle struggled to keep hold of her weapon, she knew that if Carrie got it, there would be no getting it back. "I don't think so!" Danny said as he went to throw a dagger, but the dagger was shot out of his hand before he even could throw it. Heizen who was airborne at that moment landed down in front of him with a smile on his face and then said, "My words exactly." Danny grinned back and quickly sent a barrage of slashes at Heizen with two Daggers he had drawn from their holsters. Heizen immediately went on the defense, parrying off the strikes of Danny. He got a good look at the daggers he was using and then said, "Ivory?!" The blades of the dagger were made from ivory, it was no wonder why Carrie couldn't control them. Not only that, but the daggers were incredibly sharp, if he had brought them with him in the first place, they could have easily taken down that yeti. This was no normal ivory, with every clash against his guns he could see flakes of metal chipping off, and yet there were no marks on the daggers themselves. There was only one creature would could produce ivory this sturdy, when Heizen realized this he said to himself, "This is bad... this is really bad!" Danny could see the pan nick in Heizen's eyes, as he must have figured out exactly what his weapons were made of. Danny grinned at Heizen's dismay and then went on to tell him, "Now let me saw you why they call me "The Winter Illusion". |

Carrie and Danielle were still in a struggle for possession for Danielle's Anchor. Until Danielle simply let go of the Anchor and then immediately ran behind it. She was shockingly fast, faster then Carrie had expected her to be. She was on Carrie nearly at the same time as the anchor, and she sent a kick to Carrie's stomach while taking hold of the anchor. Carrie was lifted off her feet, and sent rolling across the snowy ground. She quickly got back to her feet, and extended her arms as her weapons made their way back to her. She looked over at Danielle, holding that large anchor in her arms. Carrie mistakenly thought the girl was all power, but she had good speed as well. This time Danielle went on the attack, striking down with her Anchor, Carrie side stepped the blow, and went to slash at Danielle's exposed back, Carrie's blade hit the Anchor as Danielle twirled around to the other side of the anchor. Carrie quickly letting go of her blade in her left hand swung her sword around her head, then her blade and her dagger connected to the end of her sword. The now whip like weapon wrapped around the Anchor, and the dagger's tip neared Danielle's face as Carrie said, "Jishu Jishu Lashing!" Danielle whipped her head back as the dagger grazed her cheek. As soon as she avoided it, the dagger disengaged from the sword whip, and started to jab at Danielle as a single entity, this was of course being controlled by the free hand of Carrie. Danielle still holding onto the Anchor, moved her body side to side to avoid the incoming attacks. She received cuts on her neck and shoulder, and had to immediately move her arm off of the anchor to avoid it being skewered. As soon as she let go of the Anchor, Carrie thrust her shoulder into it, and using her Devil Fruit repelling ability sent the Anchor off the ground and crashing into the crossed arms of Danielle. "The Winter Illusion?" Heizen said to himself as Danny's words rang through his head. All was soon about to become clear as Danny stopped attacking and then retreated backwards at a high rate. Before Heizen realized it, he had disappeared into the now heavily blowing snow. Heizen cursed under his breath, as he realized why Danny was wearing all that white, in conditions like this, it would be very difficult to actually attack him from a distant, and that pretty much took away his only advantage. From Heizen's right Danny came dashing into his vision, and sent a slash at Heizen side. The Slash connected and Danny sped by and disappeared into the blowing snow again, while Heizen fired off shots at his disappearing outline. Heizen then heard a sound coming from his left and then quickly turned around and fired off. As he fired he was slash in the back from behind. He dropped to his knee as he clenched his back in pain. He didn't understand, he was confident in his senses, how could he make such a glaring mistake such as that? Heizen slowly stood up and then looked around him again, he saw a shadow slightly to the right of him and fired off shots, but this time he was kicked in the felt side. The blow sent him rolling across the hard ground. Heizen laid there with his face in the snow, and the laughter of Danny could be heard all around, "What's the matter Heizen? It this really the best the "Trigger Reaper" can do?" Heizen pushed himself off of the ground and then looked up in shock. Danny's voice was coming from all around him. He was obviously a skilled ventriloquist, and he was able to blend into the snowy back ground with his all white attire, and seeing those blades in this surrounding is a task in of itself. It didn't help matters that he was in all black, making him stick out like a sore thumb. Heizen quickly got up and then said to himself, "I can barely see in this all this snow storm, but that should mean that he shouldn't be able to see all that well either, but he can see me easier with all this black... I got an idea." Heizen Got up from where he was and then immediately started to run. He needed to stay on the move, just standing there in one spot wasn't going to be doing him any favors. Plus it would be a good idea to try and separate Danny and Danielle as much as possible, the two of them were a hand full by themselves, having them watching each-others back would just make things that more difficult. As Heizen began to run away from Danny, he's outline became more and more obscure. Danny was contemplating on whether or not he should chase after him as he said to himself, "I shouldn't get too far away from Danielle, but I've got him on the ropes. I'll hurry up and finish him off, and make my way back here." Danny then immediately started to give chase to the fleeing Heizen. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jishu Jishu Lashing - 4 Type: Attack Range: combined length of weapons Stats: She will chain her swords together using her Devil fruit abilities, and then uses them temporary as a bladed whip to attack enemy. At anytime she could disengage the whip to catch the enemy off guard. |

Danny ran in the direction were Heizen was going, and was cursing a little to himself, he had let him get too far ahead, and now he had lost sight of him, but that was okay he was sure that he would be the one to spot Heizen, before he was spotted himself. And it was just as he thought; he saw a black figure in the distance. He could see the black trench coat blowing in the wind. Danny smiled as he was sure that he had found his prey, he got into a crouching position, and then charged at the blowing coat. But he slid to a stop when the figure came into clear view. He could see that it was just Heizen's jacket hanging from the bark of an Evergreen. "Gotcha!!!!" Heizen shouted as he dove from behind the tree firing shots were he heard Danny come to a stop. Danny went to move out of the way, as soon as he saw that it was just a coat, but inadvertently moved into the bullets and was hit in the arm. He grunted in pain as blood dripped down his left arm. He was a little shocked, he would have thought that in this weather Heizen's vision and accuracy wouldn't be high enough to hit a moving target. "No, that was just luck. Those bullets weren't on target. I just moved into them like an idiot." Danny said as he took off his bandanna, and wrapped it around his injured arm. He looked over at the Jacket and saw that it was now moving and was back on Heizen's body. Heizen walked forwards and saw the blood in the snowing leading him back the way he came. He sucked his teeth, as he was hoping to finish him off in one go. He knew that something like that wasn't going to work on him again. But hopefully he reduced his fighting power a little bit with that attack, if he was really lucking maybe he even took out one of his legs. Danny looked on at the black outline and saw it stop to crouch over. This was his time to strike, and strike he did. Danny immediately charged forward, and sent a slash at Heizen's neck. Heizen who managed to catch a glimpse of Danny approaching out of the corner of his eye, quickly whipped his body back, and laid flat on the ground and fired off shots at the legs of Danny, who jumped into the air, and again disappeared into the storming snow. "Damn he's fast!" "Damn he's quick!" Heizen and Danny both sounded off as their targets eluded them yet again. Heizen already knew that Danny was as fast as the wind, but his attacks weren't that quick. If it wasn't for this snow storm reducing his field of vision, and reaction time, he wouldn't have too much of a problem, dealing with Danny. As far as Danny was concerned, Heizen was truly impressive even under these conditions, he still managed to find a way to avoid his attacks. Danielle was now stuck underneath her own weapon, she would've had no trouble of getting it off, if it wasn't for the fact that Carrie was now standing over her, with her foot on the anchor as she used it to repel the anchor down on her opponent. Danielle could feel the anchor pushing down on her body, the cold metal of her own weapon pushing down on her lungs making it hard for her to breath. Carrie looked down on her with her blade angled at her throat. Danielle looked up at Carrie and the blade, and then looked around for Danny, "Where the hell is that idiot. I told him not to separate." She looked back up at Carrie and frowned because she was sure, that she had told Heizen the exact opposite. She knew that Heizen probably had her brother chasing him around like a mad dog after a juicy steak. She really shouldn't be surprised Heizen was a pretty smart guy, and Danny wasn't the brightest star in the sky. Danielle refocused her attention to Carrie, who she was a little surprised to see hadn't tried to deliver the final blow. She then asked, "What the hell are you waiting for?" "I figured out something about you. So I'm waiting for you to change your mind about all of this." Carrie responded, as Danielle's face became even more enraged then before. She quickly reached under her dress, and pulled out a white bladed dagger. The dagger was larger then the ones Danny use, and about the size of Carrie's dagger, and the blade was made of the same ivory as Danny's. She swiped at Carrie's leg and Carrie flipped back away from the attack. Danielle pushed the anchor off of her, and then went on the attack. Carrie threw her blades into the ground, and maintained possession of her dagger. Danielle attack ferociously, and Carrie parried every blow, trying to make sure not to block any of the attacks directly, because she knew that Danielle power could not be matched by her. "What could you have possibly figured out about me huh?!!!?" Danielle said as she attacked the Banshee, she was upset at the fact that this criminal claimed to truly know anything about her. |

Danielle slashed at Carrie diagonally twice, Carrie avoided the slashes and then set a spinning back kick to her face. Danielle grabbed the foot in her hand and then slug Carrie through the air. While airborne Carrie gathered herself and flipped out of the toss, and landed on the the ground with slid. As she looked up Danielle was there and was about to send a deviating over head slash that Carrie didn't have time to dodge. Instead of dodging, Carrie extended out her hands, and repelled the metal that was on the buckle of Danielle's Belt with a grunt. The repelling force took Danielle of her feet and tossed her a about 12 meters. As she was still sliding on the ground Carrie ran at her sending a kick at her stomach. Danielle blocked the kick, which sent her sliding even further, and then slamming her fist on the ground she launched herself up and landed on her feet. She looked over at Carrie with a frown on her face. She was still curious to know exactly what the hell she was talking about. Carrie could see the anger on her face and then said as she threw her Dagger at her, "Do you really have a problem with what I'm doing? Or is it something else?" "Something else?! SOMETHING ELSE?!?!?" Danielle shouted as she dodged the incoming dagger, she made sure to look over her shoulder as she knew that it was going to be coming back, and came back it did. She ducked under the quickly approaching dagger that was caught but Carrie who was now only a foot in front of Danielle. When Danielle had looked back up, Carrie sent a fist to her face, that connected, snapping her head back. Gritting her teeth Danielle let out a shout as she swung her head forward to send a head butt. Carrie had already bent over to the side and sent an elbow to met her forehead. Danielle staggered back a little and then touched her forehead to see that she was now bleeding. Carrie then said, "Yes, something else. You're not really mad at Marine killers are you? Yeah sure you out for blood on Valentino, but not all of them. There's somewhere else you want to place your rage. Isn't there? You just can't bring yourself to do it." "What the hell are you talking about?" Danielle shouted again as she went on the attack. Yet again, she slashed with the white bladed dagger, and Carrie easily avoided the blow. Danielle's movements were becoming sloppy and undisciplined. It was clear that Carrie was right in her summation of her situation and Danielle was letting that fact effect her. Carrie back away for Danielle and stared at her with the blowing wind. Danielle looked at her with a frown on her face, how dare she say that she didn't know who she had been anger at all this time. She knew exact what was the source of her anger, "It's people like you and Valentino!! That is who I'm mad at!! I know exactly where my rage should be placed." "You're lying." Carrie said with little to no emotion in her words. Carrie was serious, very serious. She didn't want to see her friend throwing her life away for something that she didn't truly believe in. If this was the way she really felt, then she would have no problems ending her here. In fact as far as Carrie was concerned that would be the honorable thing to do. But after figuring Danielle out, she just couldn't kill her, in fact she was sure she could convert her to her cause. Carrie went on the offensive this time, she ran towards Danielle and then kicked up snow into her face, Danielle whipped her face around the kicked up snow and then went to block the knee that was coming at her face. She slapped the knee down, and swiped at Carrie with the blade, Carrie sucked in her stomach and lend over a bit to avoid the attack, and then was hit across the face with a right hook. Carrie hit the ground and rolled over on her side and quickly got up to her feet. Danielle looked at her and then told her, "Well since you have all the answers. Why don't you tell me who I'm mad at huh?!" "Okay." Is all Carrie said as she wiped her lips and spit out blood. That right hook was a lot softer then she was expecting. She was sure that she would be feeling a direct hit for Danielle, much more then this. It was clear that Danielle had held back the full force of her attack, because she wanted to hear what Carrie had to say, as much as Carrie wanted to say it. |

The duel of speed and quickness had elevated between Heizen and Danny and the two of them were locked in a deadly duel. That would be what it appeared like from the outside, but upon further inspection you could see the smiles bridging across the both of their faces. These two big kids were having the time of their lives. It was like they had completely forgotten about the fact that they were suppose to be killing each-other, and hurrying to make their way to help their partners. "I'm over here!" Danny sounded through the blowing snow. Heizen turned towards his right to where the sound was coming from, and then immediately turned towards Danny who was coming straight at his back, and blasted a salvo of bullets at his target. Danny's eyes widened, as he stopped on a dime and changed course while sending a daggers flying towards Heizen. Danny slid to a stop, as he watched Heizen dodge and knock down the daggers that where heading his way. Danny looked at Heizen, as he had received several new cuts as the fight had went on and then asked with a stupid smile on his face, "How the hell did you know? It was a lucky guess wasn't it?" "No... you're just an idiot. Very simple minded. That's all." Heizen stood there with fresh cuts of his own all over his body, as he made his statement as if this was a commonly known fact, which it was. Danny was indeed very easy to read. If he threw his voice to the right of Heizen then he was going to be attacking from the left, if he threw it to the back then he was coming from the front. If he was going to case his voice all around him, then it was going to be an aerial attack. Heizen didn't tell Danny that he had figured out his pattern, because even Danny would be smart enough to change things around. But it would appear that Danny wasn't really worried about it at all. Both he and Heizen looked at each-other and then started to laugh. They had unintentionally reverted back to the way they were when they were adventuring together in the Winter Wonderland, and on the train. They had a brotherly rivalry, and neither one of them wanted to admit that they actually enjoyed each-others presences. No they were going to do the only reasonable thing for men to do. They were going to beat the hell out of each other until one of them cried uncle, or at least until one them passed out from blood loss. Danny, and Heizen stared each-other down before Danny propelled himself forward at Heizen but stopped immediately and the shoot off to the right into the curtain of snow. Danny then came to attack Heizen out from the same location he just disappeared to. He sent a slash at Heizen's torso while saying, "How's this for simple minded?" "Very actually! Hehehe!" Heizen joked as he simply flipped over the attacking Danny. Yeah his attack pattern was completely different, but he had completely disregarded the entire throwing his voice to draw Heizen's attention away from his actually attacks. Heizen couldn't do anything but chuckle to himself as he sent a shot that purposely grazed Danny's ass. Danny grabbed his ass and then dug it into the snow. He looked up at Heizen with a glare on his face. The both of them then began to engage in a verbal assault on each-other, as their verbal battle raged on they both thought to themselves, "I can't kill this guy." Danny slowly got up as both of them had finally ran out of terrible things to say about one another. Danny twirled two Daggers around his fingers and then Heizen readied his guns. They both had a cocky smile on their faces, as Danny began his charge. |
