It had been about a week since the events at Larquetta Island. Needless to say Carrie's infamy within the Marines of the North Blue was starting to grow. At the moment her and her trustee sidekick were floating aimlessly through the North Blue. She was at a bit of lost at what to do, she had gotten information, that the man that she was looking for had disappeared yet again. So all the information that she had worked so hard to get in the first place had seemed to be for nothing. That added on to the fact that she just relived how much money it was going to take to run a rebel organization; had her in a really foul mode. You think someone like her who thought about things weeks in advance would have thought about the money issue. She had been more worried about the cause, and the message rather then money. Now she started to think about all the money she had given away. She pulled on her hair, that was once again a bright orange color, and then said., "No more of this Robin Hood crap!! Every dime we get is staying with us you hear me Heizen? And remind me to kick Tassel's ass the next time he shows his face. S-O-B, freak'in gave all that money to the B-squad." Heizen raised his eyebrow, and then said with a smug look on his face, "You said they were the Alpha Corps actually... and you also said that Tassel did the right thing giving them the bulk of the Beli...." "Shut the hell up Heizen." Carrie snapped at him as she really didn't want to hear anything about what she may or may not have said. She sighed as she thought about what they should do next. There obviously was no leads on finding Dodger, and she really didn't know where she needed to go to try and get a lead on him. She just stood there leaning on the helm, thinking of how to find Dodger and how they were going to make some much needed money. If she had Dodger with her, making money wouldn't be a problem, but she didn't have any leads. She could try and “find” some money, while trying to sniff out some leads, killing two birds with one stone. But how could she, gather information while at the same time getting money? "Bounty Hunting! That's how we'll making some money, and find Dodger." Heizen was relaxing on the deck enjoying the sunlight when he heard Carrie make one of the most insane statements he had ever heard. She wanted to temporarily become a Bounty Hunter. Had she lost her mind. He understood the merits to it. They defiantly could make some money and get some information, but there's no way they could just walk up to a Marine Post and drop off a Bounty Head. He then said to her in a worried voice as he feared for her mental heath, "You do relive that our faces are all over wanted posters right? How can we turn in other wanted criminals." Carrie looked down from the helm at Heizen with a smile. She then started laugh at him a lot because he obviously didn't get what she was saying at all. She wiped the tears from her eyes and then said as she took a breath, "Well first off, your face is all over wanted posters. My hat is covering my face, so I can dye my hair and call it a day. You however, was dumb enough to get caught." Heizen had a pissed look on his face at this point. He wasn't dumb enough to get caught, he was kind enough to sacrifice himself to make sure she got to safety. She did have a point however, her face was basically unknown by everyone but by those who knew her. Which did give her a lot of freedom, to do things like this. However, it seems that he had gotten the wrong idea. She didn't want to become Bounty Hunters for the moment, which was all well and good. "So what exactly do you have planned." "Well I wouldn't dream of being a Bounty Hunter. I'm not going to make the Marine's job any easier. Pirates are one of my greatest weapons at the moment, even if they don't know it. So no no no nonononono Bounty Hunting. We're going to be Hunting... you ready for this? You're going to love it a swear." Carrie teased her right hand man she was actually pretty proud of herself for coming up with this idea, because she was positive that she had never heard of anyone every doing this before her. Heizen really could stand waiting anymore, and right when he looked like he was about to exploded she said it, "Bounty Hunters, we're going to be Hunting Bounty Hunters. Is that not a great idea?" A smile went across Heizen's face. That was an amazing idea, he had never heard of that before, he doubted that the Bounty Hunters wouldn't even see it coming. They could jack them for their hard earned beli, and probe them for information. He didn't really have all the details figured out himself but he was sure Carrie would have everything figured out before they tried out this crazy stunt. It looked like things were going to get very interesting, but then again there was never a dull moment when Carrie was around. Unbeknownst to both Carrie and Heizen, Richard Lee Tassel, had tapped the line on the Den Den Mushi Carrie used to contact her "Alpha Corps". He was using it to keep tabs on her as he tried to rebuild his crew. At the moment, he was sitting on his deck drinking a mug of rum, listening to the conversation between Carrie and Heizen. He took a big gulp of his rum, and spit it all out, in reaction to what he just heard. He then said to himself through a lot of coughing, "She's going to Hunt, Bounty Hunters? * Cough* Only she would think of something that crazy....* cough* Why is that so hot to me?" Continued to try and catch his breath, after hearing the ridiculousness coming from Carrie's beautiful mouth. Edited by bluewingedD, Jun 13 2012, 05:48 PM.

So they were going to be hunting Bounty Hunters. It actually sounded like it was going to be a lot of fun, but this sort of thing had never really been done before so there wasn't actually a manual on how to do it. Added on to the fact that they were known Criminals, and while Carrie could make a couple of changes and go pretty much unnoticed, he would need surgery to be able to move about freely. Speaking changing her appearance, Carrie was currently Dying her hair yet again. This time she was going blonde, she always wanted to know how she'd look as a blonde, she thought she might be pretty hot. While she waited for the dye to settle, she turned her attention to Heizen. She walked around him with her fingers on her chin. How exactly were they going to change up his appearance enough to let him go around unnoticed? She gave him one more glance over and then pounded her fist into her palm she knew what she was going to do. She quickly ran below the deck, and was down there for a while before she came back up. When she came back her hair was blonde, and she was holding some scissors, and a stool in her hand. She then said with a smile on her face, "Okay, sit down! It's time to give you a make over Heizen." Heizen looked at the scissors in her hand, and had a nervous look on his face. He wasn't worried about her cutting his hair, but he was worried about HOW she was going to cut his hair. What girls thought was cool and what boys thought was cool when it came to hair, was drastically different, as far as he was concerned. He winced a little as he slowly made his way over to the stool and took a sit. He then took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He liked his hair, but if this is what needed to be done, then he guess it would just have to bare through it. "Hold on, how is changing my hair going to help, they have a picture of my face." "Yeah, and they got you in that all white number that you like to wear. This is a makeover sweetheart, we're making you ALL over. This isn't just for this mission, this is forever. You look like a kid, the Banshee Party needs men." Carrie responded to her right hand man. Yes changing his look would do them some good in this instance, but she really did want to give him a more mature look to him a look that was more imposing, if he was going to be her right hand man, his visual needed to demand respect. He needed to look like someone that would carry the monicker the “Trigger Reaper". The time ticked away, as pieces of hair fell around the feet of Heizen. From Carrie's point of view she though that his hair looked pretty good. She cut his hair short, and a a little wild, she gave him a sort of messy bed head look. She looked over her creation giving it a few touch ups here and there, and then clapped her hands together. As she did so Heizen opened his eyes, and then asked for a mirror so he could see how it looked. Carrie, standing there with her hands on her hips said, "We have one mirror and it's in my room. And you're not going in my room. Plus we have more important things to be worrying about. Like how are we going to hide that face of yours, finding some deceit cloths for you to wear, and what color we're going to dye your hair. Hmmmmm, wait here." Heizen couldn't help but feel like Carrie was making fun of him some how. Maybe it was just him being insecure, it's like she didn't like anything about him, and that's why she was changing everything. He stood there in the middle of the Deck as Carrie put several different shits and pants that he had, up to him seeing which would look the best on him. He slumped his shoulders over and was slapped on the back by Carrie, telling him to stand straight so she could get this over with. Finding the right outfit for him seemed to take longer then the actual haircut, which was crazy to him, because he hadn't packed a lot of clothes. He wouldn't say a word to her however. She seemed to be enjoying giving him a new look.Heizen saw the look on her face when she gathered the right pieces together. He really couldn't picture himself looking good in that at all. Carrie went to go put the outfit up and then, ask Heizen to pour a bucket of water on his head, because she knew what color she was going to dye it. Heizen took a big gulp and then did as he was told. After some more time had passed, Carrie had finished dying Heizen's hair, and Heizen had finished putting on the outfit that Carrie had assembled for him. He stood there yet again in the middle of the deck as Carrie came up from the the deck with the Mirror floating idly at her side. She swung the mirror around and held it up in front of Heizen. The ocean wind blew as Heizen let out a gasp, as he could barely recognize the person he was staring at. He was adorned in all black; black slacks, belt, business shirt with the top and bottom buttons carelessly unbuttoned, and to top it off a black trench coat hanging loosely on his shoulders, that reached well past his knees, he had to hold it to made sure that it didn't get blew away into the wind. What was even more stunning was his hair, Carrie had done a good job, and it was a startling jet black. He really did look like a Reaper, like the right hand of the Banshee, who was also adorned in all black. He liked it, he liked it a lot. "But how are we going to cover my face?" Heizen asked, as this was still a very big problem. While he did look different, if he walked around with his face constantly showing then a good bounty hunter might get suspicious. Carrie simply tossed a white scarf at his face, and then said with a smile, "You can figure the rest out right? Now raise anchor, and take us to Eye Island. I'm going to go down and get changed myself." Carrie went down into the deck with the Mirror following behind her outstretched hand. As Carrie disappeared into the ship, Heizen just shook his head and headed over to the helm, after raising the anchor. He wrapped the scarf so that it was covering the lower part of his face from the nose down. It was a rather long scarf, even after wrapping it, the ends extended to his thighs. As he began to stir the ship a frightening thought came into his mind. He had just processed actually what it was that Carrie had asked him to do, "E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-Eye Island? Has she gone crazy. I know she said we're going to be hunting Bounty Hunters, but on an Isle filled of them? Oh, man, oh man, oh man." He thought to himself nervously. Eye Island was one of the most hostile environments for people like them, and Carrie wanted to just waltz right in. It was enough to give anyone an ulcer, but Heizen knew that he had to trust her. She had gotten them out of a lot of tight spots before, and was sure that she'd be able to get them out of this one. Still, Eye Island was a little crazy even for her. He wondered exactly what she had in mind to actually taking out a bounty hunter, stealing his money, and leaving without being noticed? |

Heizen nervously pulled in to the docks of Eye Island, As she felt the ship come to a stop, Carrie made her way up the steps and and onto the deck. When she appeared the the deck, the chilling air blew her hair about her face. Heizen looked at her and his mouth dropped and his head shot back as his nose started to bleed. Carrie stood there, with Skin tight baby blue pants, that looked like they maybe spandex, those pants lead into a pair white and gray fur snow boots. She was also wearing a gray and white hooded winter fur that extended nearly to knees, and she had zipped up all the way. She was also wearing a baby blue winter cap, and scarf. She of course had her weapons stationed on the back of her hip. The wind blew again, and she held her now blonde hair out of her face, as she gently closed her eyes, as the cold wind touched her face, causing her to blush; she loved the cold. Heizen looked at her blush and then said to himself, "TOOOOOOOOOO, CUUUTTTTE!" Heizen had to stop himself from running over and hugging her. He highly doubted that she would like something like that. As Carrie seemed to be enjoying the winter air, so he decided to take this time to prepare his things as well. He put his black trench coat on, along with the white gloves that he always wore. Underneath his long trench coat, he placed his holsters also on the back of his hip where he usually wore them. He looked over at Carrie who began to walk towards him, as she strutted pass; Heizen said to her as he adjusted his scarf to cover most of his face, "You know with you looking like that, As long as I'm standing next to you, I won't be getting any attention at all." "That's was the point, Heizen. You think I like dressing this girly? The more attention I get the better. Let's move out." Carrie responded to Heizen's complement without giving much thought to what his words really meant. Heizen simply sighed as she didn't appear to see him as nothing more then a friend, and a solider, so she probably wouldn't even notice his attempt at flirting. He put his hands into his trench coat pocket as he followed his captain out onto the docks of Eye Island. As soon as they got on the dock, Heizen's anxiety about being noticed slightly went away. They walked through the check point, which housed bounty pictures for "Heizen, the Trigger Reaper", and "The Banshee". Along with about a dozen of other bounty heads. The men at the check point looked the two over and being that he didn't recognize them he asked them they're names and what their purpose here was. Carrie quickly responded, "I'm, Serah, Mahogany, and this is my little brother, Soran Mahogany. We're here on business, we've decided to become Bounty Hunters and hear that this place was the best place to started. Were we wrong, are we at the right place?" Carrie asked with a confused and worried look on her face. The man at the check point, smiled at the rookies nodded his head, and then told the two of them, "Hahaha, no child you're in the right place. This is indeed the best place to get started. This place is a haven for Bounty Hunters, you can stock up on supplies, get your weapons fixed, and get a good rest, or just have fun, until your next Bounty Head." He turned away and then pointed over at the civilians walking around around and talking to the Bounty Hunters, as if they were celebrities, are living legends. He then rubbed the back of his head as he was a a former Bounty Hunter himself, and then said, "The people here treat Bounty Hunters like royalty, they're more then willing to give you a helping hand." He then motioned Carrie and Heizen to bend over so he could whisper something to them. As they hunched their bodies over, he looked around and then told them, "If you really want some good leads, then there's an information broker I use to use, in Iris City. You'll usually find him in Tear Tavern. He was the best, and still is, but he only deals with people he trust, which are few and far between. His name is Westlin, tell em' that Gary sent you. But, that still may not be enough to get him to deal with you...Good luck" He waived the two of them on, and Carrie gave him a big smile and waved good bye to him as well. As they began to leave Heizen turned around and then said with curiosity in his voice, "Hey mister, why are you helping us?" Gary rubbed his head and looked at the two of them. They actually reminded him of his days when he went Bounty Hunting. He also was a two man team with his older sister. He let out a hardy laugh and then said, "You two remind me of me and my sister, back when we first started off. That's all." Heizen nodded his head in understanding and then turned around and began to follow Carrie through the Docks, that quite frankly looked more like a city. There were lights and people everywhere, there were Inns, shops and pubs all around and all of them were brimming with life and excitement. There were children running around as happy as can be, and without a care in the world. Heizen was completely at ease now, not worrying about being spotted by anyone because he doubted that anyone would even stop to think that there were wanted criminals walking among them. He gave a glance back at the checkpoint where Gray was and then said to Carrie, "You know, I kind of feel bad lying to that guy. He seemed like a nice enough person." "Hey you know I kinda do too...." Carrie stood there for a second, with a blank look her face. Heizen wondered what she was thinking about, and he soon got his answer when Carrie snapped out of it with a sigh and then said, "And just like that I'm fine. OK, time to move out. Let's see about getting us some transportation to Iris City." They made their way through the West Caruncle, heading towards the trains station. As they walked towards the station Heizen noticed that a lot of women were staring at him. He wondered if it was cause they recognized him at first, but he saw a few of them give him flirtatious waves. He slightly buried his face into his scarf, he was a little embarrassed, he had never really been given this much attention by the opposite sex before. Carrie looked back at Heizen and then said, "Girls eat that whole dark and mysterious stuff up... you're welcome." They entered into the train station, and waited in line, to get their tickets for Iris City. While they were waiting Heizen wanted to get a couple of things straight, about who they were pretending to be. If they meet someone and got into a conversation, he didn't want to drop the ball or draw attention to them. Carrie looked at him with an annoyed look on her face. He worried far too much about everything, she really had no intention of having him talk to anyone, if she could help it, just so he wouldn't let anything slip. She lightly slapped the side of his face and then said, "Stop worrying about everything. We'll get everything sorted out when we get on the train OK?" Heizen took a deep swallow and then nodded his head. There was so many things that could go wrong with this whole idea of hers, especially on an Island filled with people who would gut them the first chance that they got. He wasn't worried about someone recognizing him, but if he let something slip then it was all over, and that would be all on him. Carrie went up to the window and then bought 2 tickets for her and Heizen and then sat down on the bench outside as she waited for the train to pull into the station. She thought about everything that had happened until now, and about everything else that she was sure to happen next. It was one crazy thing after another, and to be completely honest she was loving every minute of it. She didn't know what exactly was going to happen next or who the next person who'd try to stand in the way of her ideals would be, but she was ready and waiting. |

The train had finally rolled in; Carrie and Heizen were now sitting and their own booth inside the train and made sure to lock the door behind them so that no one else would try and slide in as they were having their conversation. Carrie with her legs crossed looked at Heizen, and started to explain things to him, "It's simple, we are Serah and Soran Mahogany. We're siblings from Lyneel Island, same father different mothers, I'm 3 years older. We're new bounty hunters. We can pretty much play the other stuff by ear. It's no where near difficult as your trying to make it." Heizen shrugged his shoulders and brushed off Carrie's comment at the end. She was right and he knew it, but he wouldn't apologize for being caution. He had to be, because he didn't know what Carrie was thinking, she was 5 steps ahead and he some how needed to be kept in the loop. If that meant he needed to asked 50 questions then goddammit, that's what he was going to do. Carrie turned her attention outside, and looked at, what the locals called "The Winter Wonderland". She loved the snow, she really couldn't explain it, it was just something about it that put her at ease. She looked over the white power dancing outside of the train window. She was lost just watching it, every now and then she would catch glimpse of a fox and a pack of wolves. She wanted to catch a peak of a polar bear before she left. That really would make her day, and this entire trip. Her delighted glaze quickly turned to shock as she saw something, something magnificent. She stood up where she was and then shouted while pointing out of the window, "A YETI!!!!I SAW a FREAK'IN YETI!!!!!! SORAN!!! A Yeti!!! I swear to God I saw one." Heizen had his head resting in his hands as he heard Carrie go momentarily bat shit crazy. He was actually impressed that she managed to remembered to said his fake name in her excitement. Heizen shook his head and then said with an annoyed look of his own on his face, "A Yeti?! Please... everyone knows Yeti live up in mountains. Why would one be down in the open snowy fields? Come on.." Heizen said as if the very idea of Yeti wasn't crazy in of itself. No no no, he wasn't crazy for believing in their existence, just not believing one would be in this location. Carrie looked at him with squinting eyes and a puffed up face. She folded her arms while asking him with a very stern look on her face, "You calling me a lair? Huh? I know what I saw. It was on two feet, and hairy, and it looked right at me." "It could have been a Polar Bear, just because it was on two feet don't mean anything." "I know what a freak'in Polar Bear looks like. That wasn't a damn Polar Bear. It was A Yeti!!!" The two of them argued back and forward for pretty much the reminder of the train ride. And nether one of them would give an inch. Carrie was absolutely positive that she had saw a Yeti, and Heizen was absolutely sure that Yeti only lived in high mountains, and this island didn't have any Mountains high enough to fit the Yeti's liking, and insisted that she was just seeing things. They both eventually gave up on trying to convince one other, when they sat foot outside of the Iris City Train Station. When they entered into the city, their eyes widen. It was even more filled with life then the docks had been. People were EVERYWHERE, and large number of them were clearly bounty hunters. As they had prisoners with shackles in tow. Carrie looked at everything around her and then said, "Now let's see if we can't find Tear Tavern.." A they began their track through Iris City, checking out everything around them rather then looking for the Tear Tavern. As they continued to bop around the town exploring the sights, there were a group of men that approached the two of them. They stopped in front of Carrie, and Heizen, and began to cat call at the Carrie. They had a Bounty Head in tow as they focused their attentions onto Carrie, "Hey there cutie, haven't seen you around here before? Are you new to the Bounty Hunter scene?" "More or less... " Carrie responded as she, and Heizen tried to keep moving along. The three men wouldn't give up up however. They maneuvered themselves back in front of Carrie, she sighed as she stood there, with her hands on her hips. The men stared at her and then looked at Heizen, and then asked her, "That guy your boyfriend or something? He looks too weak to be your partner. What do you say you join us? We could always use a little feminine charm." Carrie let out a little laugh, men were nothing but pigs. She was starting to see why Akila seemed to hate them some much. She patted the man in front of her on the shoulder, and then just continued to walk pass him saying, "His my brother actually, and we're just fine on our own, thanks." As Carrie walked by one of the men grabbed her by the shoulder, and just as his hand touched her, Carrie hands zipped to the handles of her blade, and she pulled them out. In a flash her swords were at the man's neck. When his two colleges saw this they went to draw their own swords, put before they could even get their hands on their weapons, the tail of Heizen's trench coat was up in the air and his guns were in the their faces. Heizen stared at the two of them with an enraged look on his face. They couldn't see anything below the bridge of his nose, but the look in his eyes was more then enough for them to see his killing intent. Just as it looked like things were going to turn ugly, a voice was heard from behind them, "Woah, woah, woah guys... no need for all the hostility. We don't want the Marines coming around, killing everyone's buzz right?" Carrie looked back at the man and then and put her swords away. Heizen, twirled his guns around his fingers and placed them back in their holsters. The three man standing there, all took a collective sigh of relief and then ran off with their Bounty in tow, cursing the two of them, and promising to extract their revenge on them. Carrie moved her hair out of her face and then and went over to thank the man that had assisted them. She really didn't want to make too big of a scene, and if the man hadn't came when he did, that was exactly what she and Heizen were going to do. She sighed and then said to the man, "Thanks,me and my brother can get a little out of hands sometimes. The last thing we wanted was to cause trouble." "Oh, I think it's those guys that just left, who need to be thanking me. You two were really going to do a number on them. And truth be told the only reason I stopped you was because me and MY sister, caused a bit of a stir a little while ago, and things just settled down... HAHAHA!" The blonde man responded to Carrie with a stupid grin on his face. Carrie believed that he would have caused a stir indeed. He was tall, at around 6 '3, he was cut with lean muscle, he looked speedy to be sure. And the only weapon she saw on him was a dagger. She grinned at him as he explained his reasons for helping them, and he went on to introduce himself, "My names Danny... Danny Trees." "I'm Serah Mahogany, and he is my brother, Soran Mahogany. Pleasure to meet you." Carrie responded as it was the polite thing to do, and she was in no position to be rude. She shook Danny's hand, and Danny went on to shake Heizen. Who up until this point had remained silent, "The Trees and the Mahoganys, huh? Must be fate." Heizen said with a chuckle as he realized the irony of the situation. Danny on the other hand, just rubbed the top of his head as he really didn't get it. He wasn't really the sharpest tool in the shed, something that Heizen immediately found out. Danny shrugged his shoulders after giving up on trying to figure out the joke. He let it the thought of it slipped out of his mind as he moved the conversation on to what he thought to be an even more interesting topic, "Hey, do you guys what to come with me to, Tear Tavern? It's actually pretty awesome and I'm sure my sister would love to met you two." "Actually, yeah we would... we were just looking for the Tear Tavern." "Cool, awesome...I'll show you the way." Danny guided the two of them towards the Tear Tavern. On the way there the three of them enjoyed a nice conversation with Danny, about what his sister was like, and getting advice for him about being a good Bounty Hunter. I would seem that Danny and his sister had made a pretty big name for themselves, and they had brought down some pretty big bounty heads, in the North Blue. It seemed he was as skilled as she originally thought. |

Carrie, Heizen and Danny were now sitting down at a table and they were join by a women, or a young lady to be more precise. Her name was Danielle, and she was Danny's younger sister. Danielle was a couple inches shorter then Carrie herself, and looked to be pretty frail. She had light brown hair, smooth skin, deep dark brown eyes and wore a brown, leather and fur dress that stopped just above her knees, and long brown boots, that extended all the way up her legs. She also wore a cowboy hat on her head, with brown fur gloves, with fur at the wrist extending up her to elbows. She was younger then her brother, but still had a couple of years on Carrie, making her 22 years old, and her brother 25. It was eery how similar, their real lives were in comparison to Carrie's made up life story. The only difference was that the Trees had the same mother and father, and they grew on on this Island, so their popularity here could greatly be attributed to that reason. The whole group seemed to be having a very good time. They all made fun of Heizen, or rather Soran, as he really wasn't much of a drinker. He could barely get a shot down his throat. But in all fairness it was his first drink and he was only 17. A fact that Carrie neglected to share and one neither Danny or Danielle would even care about. They continued to talk for a little while longer when Danielle finally asked them a question of substance, "So have you guys found a good information broker, yet? It's really the best way to get to bounties quick. We can get in with some of ours, they're pretty good." "No, we haven't. Actually, Gary down in West Caruncle, told us to come find a man named Westlin. He said that he usually hangs out around here." Carrie respond to Danielle, who as soon as she heard the man's name mentioned, she flinched a little. Westlin was indeed an information broker, not only that but he was a retired Bounty Hunter, and a pretty famous one at that. So much so, that even now marines and even some of the more rowdy Bounty Hunters wouldn't dare to cross him. He always seemed to have the low down on everything, but he rarely gave anyone the time of day. He was a mysterious guy, that no one really understood. Danny looked over at Carrie and motioned his head over to the corner. In that corner there was an old man sitting there. He was about 6'7 inches, he had long gray hair, and a short gray goatee. He was wearing, a silver fur hooded coat, Carrie had never seen fur like that before, and wondered were he got it from. He was currently downing a big mug of rum at the moment. Even though the man was up there in the years, he still looked like an imposing force. It was clear to see why people around here still had a measure of fear for the man. As Carrie got up to go and talk to him, Danielle put her hand on Carrie's shoulder and then said with a worried look on her face, "Yeah he's no doubt the best information broker on the island, but I hear he makes you take some impossible test. Like a lot of people have died trying to complete it. That's why he has no costumers. No one's crazy enough to try it." "Wait if he has no customers, then how does he make money?"Heizen had to asked because the man was obviously living pretty good, with a swank coat like that, and the fact that he seemed to be up in here every day drinking like a fish, but still appeared to be in good health. Danny, Danielle and Carrie shook their head in shame as that should have been obvious, "All the bounties he bagged in his time, his set for life. That's why he can be so picky." Danny told the clueless Soran, who just shrugged his shoulders at his own ignorance. Carrie still continued to walk towards the man, but Danielle persisted that she that she didn't. When Carrie explained that she was looking for a particular person, who was very elusive, and that she wasn't even sure if he had a bounty on him yet. Carrie needed to find him before she set out on her journey into the Grandline. He was going to be pivotal in her future endeavors. Of course she couldn't tell Danny, and Danielle anything about that, so she had to be very vague in her explanation. Danielle nodded her head in understanding, "I see this first one is personal. I get it, but don't go getting yourself killed just for information you maybe able to get some where else." Danny got up out of his seat and then started to walk over to the Tear Tavern's door and then looked back at Carrie and Heizen saying, "Yeah there's plenty of information brokers around town. Surely someone, knows about the guy you're looking for." Heizen looked over at Carrie and shrugged his shoulders. The two of them did have point, it would be best to try and find the information else where before they tried and get it out of this guy. Especially if he did in fact give out crazy tasks before he even thought about dealing with them. Carrie decided that maybe it was better to take things a little slow, instead of rushing into an unforced error. She nodded her head and agreed to try it their way. Besides she was sure at least one other broker out there was going to have the information that she needed. |

"There was not a single one with any info on him!!! Not one in the ENTIRE IRIS CITY!!!! In this HAVEN for bounty hunters." Carrie shouted as she and the re-entered Tear Tavern, with a heavy sarcasm in her voice. They hadn't been able to find not a single bit of information on Dodger, and it had taken them two days, to find and ask all of the information brokers on the island. Half of them hadn't even heard of his name. Carrie pulled on her hair a little, as see told the waitress to bring 4 rums. When the rums arrived, she took hold of all 4 of them and then looked at everyone else and then asked, "You guys aren't getting anything?" Danny, Danielle and Heizen all went to grab the extra rums from her. They didn't need to have her plastered, Heizen definitely didn't want her to get drunk. He never saw her like that and didn't know how she would act, so was afraid of what she might let slip if everything wasn't firing off like they were suppose to be. Danny managed to to settle her down by telling her that he was sure that Westlin would have the info that she needed, that guy knew everything. "The only problem is we'll probably have to do a suicide mission." Carrie, and Heizen looked over at Danny a little shocked. They had been helping them since they meet, Danielle explained that it was because they were taking a little vacation from hunting, and they really had nothing better to, and that Serah and Soran were good company. That part was understandable, but what she didn't understand was Danny's last statement. "What do you mean WE'LL? This is our problem, we don't want to trouble you guys anymore then we already have." "Don't be silly, we're friends now right? That's what friends do. Plus if we do pass the task, then he'll do business with us to right? There's nothing the four of us couldn't handle on this island." Danielle responded with a smile on her face. Carrie gave the two of them a smile, and nodded her head. She would love to have guys like this join the Banshee Party, but if she knew them like she thought she did, they would not so easily turn their back on what they've been doing, as far as they were concern the Marines had done them no wrong, and as far as she could tell, they indeed had not. Things were fine here just the way they were. She just hoped that she wouldn't have to run into them as enemies one day, because she wasn't sure what she would do. The group made their way over to where Westlin usually sat, and of course there he was, sitting down drinking his mug of rum. The four of them surrounded Westlin in his drinking corner at the bar, and before any of them could speak. He turned and glared at the young people there, he gave them a glare that made all of them flinch for a moment. Westlin then said with a groggy voice, "You know you're liable to get yourself killed like that." "Um sorry about that, but we're looking for a good information broker, and Gary said that you were the best in town." Carrie told to the retired hunter, as she hoped that the mention of Gary's name would be enough to get the man to do business with them. Westlin turned around to face the four of them and then looked them over. He had heard of the Tree siblings, but then again he had heard and knew about many things that happened around the Blues. He turned up his nose and then said to them lot of them, "Best in the North Blue actually... probably the world. Anyway, Gary sent you huh?" Carrie and Heizen shook their heads yes, as Westlin gave them another look over. Heizen was getting a little nervous, because it felt like the man was staring into his soul. Looking at the things he had done in his past, and seeing the things that he would be doing in the future. Westlin took a long swig of his rum wiped his face and then said, "Ok, I guess I can hear you out. What do you want to know?" Danny and Danielle patted Carrie on the shoulder, with happiness, and excitement it seemed like they wouldn't need to do some impossible mission after all. Carrie looked back at them and then smiled. She turned her attention back to Westlin and then said, "I'm looking for someone named Dodger D~?!" Before she could finish saying his name, Westlin cut her off, and began going on a rant about the person she was looking for. He went on about where he was born, he's hair color, his favorite food, and any other fact that was irrelevant for Carrie purposes. After he finished he let out a belch, and then said, "Yeah, I know where he is... at the moment." Carrie leaned in and waited for the man to give her the information that she needed, she needed to know where he was, and she needed to know it now. There was a calm silence between the 5 of them. Carrie was waiting in anticipation, Danny and Daniell, were still excited about the fact that they might be able to use this guy for a information broker from now on, and Hezien was just ready to stop pretending to be someone else, because it was exhausting. They were standing there for a good 2 minutes before Carrie finally said, "Well are you going to tell us!?!?" "Nope!" Westlin said simply as he went back into his drinking. All of their shoulders slump to the floor. As they all knew that it was too good to be sure. Of course he wasn't going to tell them, that would've made things far too easy, and as it stood nothing so far had been easy for Carrie and her men. Westlin then said to the lot of them, "I do require some kind of payment, you know?" All of them perked up again, as they all had completely forgotten about the basis of a deal. They had to give him some money, or something of trade value in return for his information. Carrie went into her pocket as she was willing to pay this man just about anything, she was going to make it back, by jacking some Bounty Hunters anyway. Something she had completely forgotten about until she was about to spend more money. Westlin put his hand up and then said, "I got plenty of money girly. I want something else.... I want a Yeti's pelt." All of their eyes widened and their jaw hit the floor. All except for Carrie, who very much knew that there were Yeti's on this Island because she had seen one. Heizen, Danny and Danielle on the other hand knew that this was the impossible task that he made everyone complete. Danny and Danielle had lived here all their lives and had been through the Winter Wonderland many times, and they hadn't even seen a Yeti's track, let alone catch a glimpse of one. Danny was about to give the man a piece of his mind, he didn't care who he was. Making impossible request like that was ridiculous. Carrie on the other hand simply said, "Ok... is that all? Alright, I'll be back in with you're pelt." There wasn't a hint of sarcasm, disappointment, or anger in her voices. To her it seemed like a fair enough deal. Everyone there seemed a little shocked by her confidence, even Westlin. He only had one other person respond to him in such a way, and with that Westlin's shocked face turned into a smile. As Carrie Began to walk out of the Tear Tavern with the others following behind her. As she left out of the pub, he turned to the bartender who was about as old as he was and then said, "You know, I might actually get that matching set now." He looked down at his silver furred coat with a sad smile on his face. Outside of the pub everyone was trying to convince Carrie that all of this was crazy, that Yeti's didn't exist on this island. Heizen and Carrie had already had a conversation about this on the train, and even though she wouldn't listen to reason the first time, he was still going to try and convince her this time, "Come on sis, this is crazy. Yeti's live in the high mountains, there aren't any mountains high enough here. Plus we don't know our way around the Winter Wonderland, we'll die out there." Danny and Danielle both chimed in with they're own experiences in the Winter Wonderland, and agreed with Heizen. Carrie continued to walk with the 3 of them trailing, still trying to talk her out of it. She finally got feed up and then turn to them and said, "I saw one... ok, I swear on everything I own, that I saw one. I KNOW I can find it and I will. If you think it's suicide then I'll go at it alone. This is the only way to get what we need. So I'm going to do it. With or without the help of my so called friends!" With that the 3 of them just stood there, as Carrie stormed off, as she went to prepare herself for her grueling journey through the infamous Winter Wonderland. |

Carrie had spent the rest of the day, gather things she knew she was going to need for the journey through the Winter Wonderland. She was in a shop looking for some extra blankets and furs when low and behold Westlin was in the shop as well. Only 5 hours ago he asked her to go and find a Yeti pelt, and he was in here shopping for blankets. She decided to ignore him and continue gather the things she needed. As she was leaving the store, Westlin walked passed her and then said, "Making friends like that....is just going to make things more difficult." Carrie watched Westlin's back as he walked away with his new rug, wondering what he meant. Could he see the future too, or was he just being cryptic for the sake of being cryptic? She decided to drop it because she had more important things to worry about at the moment like getting materials to lure a Yeti. After she had gathered everything she needed, she was going to grab a bite to eat and then head out. Meanwhile Heizen, Danny, and Danielle were sitting in Carrie's and Heizen inn room waiting for Carrie to come home so they could apologize. They would soon realize that Carrie had no intention of coming back to the Inn. In fact Carrie now stood on the outskirts of Iris City, with a large hiking bag. She looked out over the land and saw nothing but white snow. There were some kids playing over in the distance, which wasn't uncommon. They have their snow ball battles, and build snowmen, and all that other kid stuff. As long as they stayed close to town, the adults didn't really care much. Carrie took a deep breath, this was going to be pretty hard, especially by herself. She began her track through the snow, waiving at the children playing in snow, and enjoying the winter air. Because honestly this might be her last day alive. Because the whether in the Winter Wonderland could turn at the drop of a hat. "Hey! Hey! HEEEEYEYYYYYY!!!" , a familiar voice sounded from behind her. She turned around to see Heizen, Danny, and Danielle chasing after her. They all seemed to be packing large bags with them, that she assume were filled with supplies for the journey. Danny strangely enough was packing a large case of what looked like donuts. They all came to a stop in front of Carrie and then Danielle was the first to speak out, "We're sorry Serah for not supporting your decision. We said we were going to help you, but it seemed like we were doing the opposite. Even if we can't find a Yeti out here, we'll think of something." Carrie smiled at her, and then looked over at Heizen. He didn't need to say anything because she already knew how he felt. He proclaimed himself to be her bodyguard, and she suppose it made sense for him to try and convince her from going on what he thought to be a suicide mission. He just nodded his head, and she nodded back with a smile. Now she looked over at Danny with his box of Do-nuts and then asked, "Why did you bring a huge box of donuts? Is that Like a peace offering or something?" Danny looked down at the box of do-nuts and then looked back up at Carrie. Didn't she know? He thought that she was suppose to be some sort of Yeti authority, how could she not possibility know the most useful Yeti lore there is in this situation. Maybe she had just spaced out on it. He looked down at the do-nuts and then looked back up at Carrie and then said matter of factly, "Yetis love do-nuts...duh!" "Yeeeeeeaahhh, I don't think that's....not a thing." Carrie said while trying to hold herself back from busting out laughing. Heizen and Danielle stood there holding their heads in their hand. They had spent the better part of an hour trying to explain that to him. Danny looked confused, he was sure that he had heard that somewhere, or did he just make it up? Well he wouldn't argue with Carrie about it, she seemed to be the only one with any sort of Idea of what a Yeti even looked like. Plus even if it wasn't a thing, everyone loved do-nuts. He shrugged his shoulders and then opened up the box and took one of the donuts out and took a bite. He then looked at everyone else and then said, with a mouth full of do-nut, "WMMMmmm mmhhmm mmmhhmhm mhhmmhm( Well at least we don't have to worry about food)." Everyone started to laugh and then took one of the donuts. There were a lot in there and it should hold them over for awhile. Carrie looked at the 3 of them and then started to think to herself, "What was that old man talking about, friends like these, makes everything easier. Maybe he doesn't know everything after all." |

The four of them had begun their journey through the Winter Wonderland. All of them agreed that they should probably head towards the area that had the highest mountains which was north of Iris. They had been walking for a while and now the City was out of sight, this is where the Winter Wonderland became dangerous. Their were all manner of deadly animals running through here, not to mention the cunning and the ever elusive Yeti. On a bright note, it would appear that the weather was looking good today, and there were no signs of change. Carrie looked back a Danny who was still carrying the big box filled with do-nuts and then said, "You know maybe we should leave that. I mean the smell might attract unwanted attention." "The hell I am. You know how much money I spent on these? We going to eat ALLLLL of them dammit!" Danny quickly snapped at Carrie, who could do nothing but smirk at the dense guy. Even if he did think Yetis loved donuts did he have to buy enough to feed an army? Carrie stopped her laughing as she asked Danielle question that was on her mind since a they started this little trip, "I get why Danny's holding that huge box of do-nuts, but why are you carrying that Anchor?" The tiny Danielle, had been carrying a ship anchor this whole time, the thing was almost bigger then her, and it had to weigh more then she did. It was black, and had 2 hooked ends, with bandages wrapped around the part Danielle used as a grip, and she had it resting on her shoulder. Danielle looked up at the Anchor and then said, "Oh it's my weapon...I figured we'd more then likely run into some trouble, so I might as well bring it." Carrie's eyes widened when she heard this, when she looked over at Heizen, he nodded his head, as he had asked the question before they left to catch Carrie. This small girl was very strong, from the looks of it, the Anchor had to weigh at least 200lbs, and she was carrying it around like a baseball bat. She was defiantly a power fighter, and if she was that powerful she wondered what it was Danny could do. With that Carrie felt even more confident about this little trip. The Group trekked though miles of snow before they finally got a glimpse at the mountain. Carrie let out a breath and looked up at the sky as it seemed like they would be able to make to the mountain before any bad weather hit, and they hadn't ran into any undesirables on their way there. So far this little journey was very uneventful. They all looked at the the Mountain Range and then began to make their way towards it. After they took a couple of steps, all of them came to a complete stop. They could feel the eyes of someone, or something watching them. Heizen quickly pulled out his gun, and then fired it at a group of trees to his right. He then got into a stance and then told the others what he had saw, "Wolves, they've got us surrounded." Everyone looked at Heizen with an alarmed look on their faces. The wolves around here were no joke, they were larger, faster, and smarter then your run of the mill wolves. Heizen and Daniell had their weapons drawn, and were ready for their attack, Danny was just standing there with the box of do-nuts. He was still holding on to that damn, box of do-nuts for dear life and he didn't look like he was going to drop it. Carrie looked at him with a angry look on her face and then said, "Drop the damn box dummy, you wanna die?" "He's fine Serah, don't worry. Be more worried about yourself." Danielle looked over at Carrie with a smile on her face. As she didn't seemed too concerned with her brother's safety even with the jumbo box of do-nuts, she was more worried about Carrie who hadn't drawn her weapons yet either. Carrie gave him one last look and choose to trust Danielle's words. It was probably he's fault that they had been stalked by a pack of wolves in the first place, carrying those do-nuts. The group glared as their stalkers became out into the open. On average they were almost twice the size of a normal wolf, their heads were about even with Carrie's chest. There was one that was even bigger then the others. It stood almost eye level with Carrie, it must have been the Alpha Male. It was a black wolf with cold blue eyes, and it was staring at Carrie, and Carrie being the Alpha male that she was, stared the beast back down, with a smile on her face. Danielle looked over to see the smile and was a little shocked. She didn't now how capable of a fighter Carrie was. Yeah Danny told about what happened earlier, but those guys were kind of pathetic, all things considered. The pack of Gray Wolves began to close in on the group. As they approached, Carrie took a breath and then started to unzip her coat. She flung the coat open, underneath she was wearing a white long sleeve skin tight shirt, that seemed to be made silky material. She put her hands on the grips of her blades as her coat blew in the winter wind. All the while the smile never left her face, she had never been hunted by a wolf before, so this was going to be fun. The Black wolf, looked at his prey and licked his chops. He made a sniffing nose, and as he did that the group of wolves went on the attack. When Heizen saw that, he said to himself, "Did he just signal them?!" He dodged an incoming Wolf and then went the fire at the airborne canine, but as he was about to pull the trigger another wolf went to bite the hand that was about to fire. Heizen quickly pulled the arm back and kick the attacking wolf. These wolves were indeed highly intelligent, so much so that they seemed to be coordinating their attacks. Danielle had three wolves biting down on her Anchor, she pushed the great weapon forward knocking the wolves back, sending them to the floor, before they rolled over and got back up and went straight back on the offensive. Danny who had no weapon drawn, as dipping and dodging the incoming attacks while holding onto the do-nuts making extra care that they wouldn't get harmed in the fight. Carrie had no wolves attacking her, it seemed that the wolves had separated them, and left Carrie and the Black wolf to fight each other. It seemed as if the Black wolf had recognized Carrie as the Alpha of the group. "Separate the group, kill the leader, reduce moral, and finish of the rest. Smart beast, I was thinking the same thing, thanks for making it easy for me." The Black wolf growled, and then leaped at Carrie with Great speed. Carrie drew her swords and they clashed with the fangs of the wolf's. The Beast continued to push forward, driving Carrie back, as her feet dug into the snow. Her back soon hit a tree, and her head jerked back, the beast released his bite on the swords and then went to slash at Carrie sternum. Carrie quickly rolled to the side and the ran a little and then slid to a stop. Her coat dangled at her side, as her smiled widened even further. She then said in a supremely cocky voice, "That's all you got Balto!" The Black Wolf snarled wildly and then dashed at Carrie at full speed. |

Danny had just sprinted, with an impressive rate of speed, behind Carrie and heard her snide remark to the attacking Black Wolf. He slid to a stop catching the two trailing wolves off guard and with a side kick sent one of them flying into the other. Danny then asked, "Balto?" Carrie parried off the Black wolf, and then went to slash it on it's side. The cunning wolf jumped away, and then stared Carrie down. Carrie turned her attention over to Danny and then said, "Yeah, dying without a name is sad... for anyone." "I guess, but why Balto?" Carrie shrugged her shoulders and then said, "I dunno, it just feels right." Just then she cocked her head back as Balto went to take a bite out of her face. As she cocked her head back she sent a knee into his jaw. Danny was still laughing at the fact that Serah had named the wolf that was trying so hard to kill her. He started to wonder whether or not he should name the two that were currently trying to rip his face off as well. That thought was quickly erased when the two of them lunged at him while he wasn't paying attention. Danielle saw her brother spacing out and yell, "LOOK UP DUMBASS!!!" "Oh shit!" Danny yelped as he saw the two of them lounging at him. He placed his right hand on top of the do-nut box and then bent backwards while bending his knees. The two wolves flew over the box of do-nuts, and right over Danny as well. After they passed over him, he sat back up and immediately opened up the box and frantically looked through it. He then took a deep breath and then closed the box. He rose to his feet and then announced to everyone that the do-nuts were fine. Carrie who was entangle with Balto, shoved him to the ground, Danielle sent one of the wolves flying hard into a tree, and Heizen pistol whipped one of them in the face as it was about to begin it's attack. All three of them glared over at Danny and then shouted, "NO ONE CARES!!!!" Danny pouted his lip out, there was no need to yell, they were being too mean. He took a quick glance behind him to see the wolves on the attack again. He held tightly onto the box and then went into a mad sprint again. Balto rolled himself off the ground and then charged Carrie again. Carrie tilted her body to the side and sighed. This was starting to get boring because he was getting a tad bit too predictability, at least until now. Carrie's eyes widened, as the charging Balto took a quick side step and then lunged at her again from the side, sending a slash at her with it's claws. She turned her body and put up her guard with her swords. The Claws scrapped across her hands, and Carrie let out a cringe of pain. She gripped onto her swords tighter and then shouted out at Balto, "Now that's what I was looking for..." She charged Balto head on and sent a fury of swords slashes at the beast. Balto let out a wine as he was slashed on the leg and neck and then received a strong kick to the side of his head by Carrie. The mighty wolf was sent rolling across the ground. When he looked up, Carrie was standing there with one leg in the air, motioning for him to come. The wolf growled viciously at Carrie, and Carrie tilted her head with a large grin. She was going to end this little skirmish right now. Balto struggled to get up, but finally made it to his feet. It then sprint at Carrie at full speed, and Carrie followed suit. As the two of them approached each other Balto lunged, and as soon as he lunged Carrie lowered her chest almost parallel to the ground and then twisted her body. She was off the ground but twisting beneath the lunging wolf, her face was now facing his underbelly, as she went by his stomach, she sent a double X slash, almost ripping the creature in two. Her body continued to turn from the spin, until her knees hit the ground. She slid across the snow with her arms out stretched holding her bloody blades. She looked back to see Balto nearly ripped in two, and then her smile turned into a disappointed look. She excepted a little more from the beast, but maybe she gave the intelligence of the wolf too much credit. Danielle looked over to see what she had done to the Black wolf, and gasp. The counter was divine, the timing, and grace, and the brutally. She was a fighter to be reckoned with. A smile crept across Danielle's face before she knew it, she had recognized Carrie as a rival. She really wanted to fight her now, to see who was better. The other wolves came to a complete stop after they witnessed the death of their Alpha male. They all stood there and stared at Carrie, "Get the hell out of here!" All the wolves immediately turned tail and ran as fast as they could. Heizen smirked as she put his guns away, and Danny, took a breath as he could finally stop running. One would think he would've gave up on the do-nuts by now, and would just worry about himself. He opened up the box and then took two of the do-nuts out and began to feast on them, as he and everyone else made their way over to Carrie. Danny then said to her once again with his mouth filled with food, "Mhmm mmhmhm mhmhm hmhm hmhmhm( Nice, going you're really tough)." "I'll say, she probably would've been fine out here on her own." Danielle added with her anchor resting on her shoulder. Carrie smiled at her and placed her swords back into their sheathes, and then zipped up her coat. As she zipped up her coat, everyone saw the bleed on the back of Carrie's left hand. Heizen was of course the first person to comment on it, "Why won't you let me clean that up?" Carrie looked down at her left hand and saw the blood, trickling from it. She defiantly couldn't let Heizen or anyone else clean it. That hand had her marriage tattoo on it. It was one of the things that she couldn't hide, and was one of thing that was associated with the Banshee. She shook her head and then said with a smile on her face, "It's just a flesh wound, nothing to worry yourself with." Heizen being oblivious as to why Carrie rejected treating the wound, just shrugged his shoulders and let it go. Carrie then looked over at the dead body of Balto, and a sad look came over her face. She then drew her dagger and then walked over to the Dead body and then started to skin it. Heizen, and Danny looked at her wondering what she was doing. It was totally disgusting as far as he was concerned, but Danielle completely understood, she looked over at the two boys and then said, "She's skinning it, out of respect. She knows that we can't eat the meat, because too much time was pasted, and bile has probably already started to seep into the meat, plus the wolf meat is terrible. So she wants to make sure that she uses at least some on of it. She has a real hunters mentally." Danielle looked on at Carrie skinning Balto curiously. She was a complicated person to figure out. She seemed so nice and gentle when they were in town, but since they entered the Winter Wonderland she has been anything but. She supposed that was a good thing, because being gentle and nice wasn't going to cut it out here, nor would it cut if she was going to be a bounty hunter. She was worried about her safety at first, but now she was more concerned about her becoming a powerful rival. She was thinking whether it would be more fun to compete against her, or to team up with her, and take down real heavy hitters? "Serah, I know how to cure, tan hides. I'm sure I can make you something nice from it." "Thanks Danielle.. I'd appreciate that." |

Danielle was know holding the hide of Balto in her hands, as she held it up to see if there were any tears, from the skinning. It would appear as if Carrie had done a good job on it. Danielle folded up the hide and then placed it inside of her bag. When she had finished, the group was on the move again, looking for any sign of Yeti as they neared the foot of the mountain. Heizen's eyes scanned the area looking for anything. He wanted to get this over with, if there were any other creatures out here like those wolves, then the longer they stayed here. The more danger they would be in. Especially with the fantastic idiot, better known as Danny, carrying around a box fill with admittedly delicious do-nuts. Those scrumptious things would attract anything with a nose within a mile. While Heizen was scanning the entire area, Carrie was looking on the ground. She was checking the snow, to see if she could find any sign of Yeti tracks, or dung, hair, anything. Danielle was looking at the back of Carrie's head trying to figure this girl out, she wanted to know what motivated her so, to willingly go into this harsh wilderness. Danny on the other hand wasn't thinking about too much of anything at all. He was just wondering which do-nut he should eat next. They still had a lot left, and it looked like he was going to have to eat them all himself, since everyone else was acting like they didn't want any. As Heizen was continuing to scan the area, he spotted something in the distance. He whistled to get everyone's attention, and then pointed over the a near by tree. He thought he saw something hanging from a nearby tree. Carrie immediately ran over to the tree that Heizen was point too, hurdling over rocks and boulders. She slid to a stop and looked at the tree and then said, "Good find Soran...this is definitely Yeti hair, and look at this." Carrie pointed down at the ground and there was a track nearly as big as Carrie's leg. It looked like a human foot, but was much too large. Carrie held the strains of hair backwards towards the group and Heizen immediately took them and looked at them. They were smooth, and silver, they resembled something that he had seem before. Danielle was thinking the same thing, and she knew exactly what they resembled, "These look like the fur from Westlin's coat." "Yeah I know. I knew it was a Yeti pelt the moment I saw it. That's how I knew I saw what I saw on the train. There's Yeti here, and there are more then one. The one I saw on the train wouldn't have been big enough to make a track like this. It must have been a child or maybe a female." Carrie responded to the group as Danielle sort of cursed under her breath. She was far more cunning then she had originally gave her credit for. She thought that she blindly went out into the Winter Wonderland, off pure guts, and guts alone. Now if it was only that, it would have still been impressive, but this was much more calculated, thought out. Which made it scary from a rivals point of view. How great was her sense of observation. She had to know, so she inquired further, "How do you know for sure there's more then one, you could have missed calculated the distance away from the train and the speed in which the train was moving could have effected what you perceived." "No I wouldn't miss calculate something so simple like that. Besides this one is clearly marking their territory. All the hair that was left in this tree, it's clear he rubbed his back against it, to leave a scent. They would would only do that for two reasons, to ward off rivals or." "Or to attract mates." "Precisely!" Carrie and Danielle had a mini think tank, in which Carrie was doing most of the thinking and Danielle was really just feeling out Carrie. She was very capable, not just as a fighter. She would be an excellent Bounty Hunter, and a worthy rival, and an even better partner. She would have to discuss this with her at a later time, after they had finished with all of this. After all they were in the middle of actually catching a Yeti. Something she hadn't seen her entire life while she was on this island. Heizen was more in shock by the fact that a Yeti was indeed on this Island, and more over he wasn't even on the mountain, he was roaming around the base of it no less. He guess it should be obvious that doubting Carrie was one of the more stupid things to do, and that he would have to take note to never do it again. Even though this wasn't the first time that he made this statement to himself. Danny was lost on all of this non-sense, the only thing that really caught his attention, was the word mate. Then he just dosed off as his attention shifted over to the partial frozen lake behind the tree. He had another do-nut in his mouth and then asked as he saw something interesting drinking from the lake, "hmmmh, hmmhhmm mmhmhm mhmhm mhnmh!?( Hey is that a Yeti, over there?!)" Everyone looked up at the lake and saw the creature drinking from it. It was large with white fur, strong powerful legs. Carrie looked at the creature for a while not saying anything. She then looked over at Heizen, with an elated smile across her face. She held her fist up to her face like a child inside a candy shop give-a-way. She then said in a whispering high pitched voice, "It's a freaking Polar Bear!!!" Carrie loved Polar Bears, they were quite possibly her favorite animal on the planet. She really couldn't explain why. She stood there looking at the Beast for while, before something absolutely horrible happened. Danny opened up the box, and the smell of do-nuts filled the air. The Polar Bear head perked up, and then took several sniffs until his head tilted towards the group. It then start to slowly make it's way over to them. Carrie, stared for a moment wondering if it was heading towards them. She then looked over to see that Danny had opened "The Box" and her shoulders slumped over, "Oh, damn." Is all she said as the Bear spotted Carrie and the group and then began a mad dash towards them. The group started to run in the opposite direction all of them cursing Danny, and his damn do-nuts. Danny forcefully swallowed the do-nut he was eating and then said in an angry voice, "Sorry that their so damn good. If you guys would eat some we could hurry up and get rid of them. And why the hell are we running lets just take him out." Carrie grabbed Danny by the collar of his shirt and then came to a stop. She looked at him with fire blazing in her eyes. It looked like she was about to kill Danny were he stood. How dare he even suggest that they kill that magnificent creature. Carrie pointed her figure in Danny's face and then said with great conviction, "I am not going to kill him because of your damn do-nuts. Why won't you just drop the do-nuts so we can get through here peacefully." "I'd rather die then give these up." Danny said as he held the closed box tightly to his chest. These things were crack to him, and if he didn't get his fix he was going to flip out. They both stared each other down and then Heizen got in between the two of them, because the Bear was gaining ground and was going to be on them at any moment. So he had to make them come to a compromise. He held his hands up and then said, "How about we just knock it out and continue on?" "I guess that will work." They both agree, as they continued to stare each other down, not wanting to take their eyes off of each other. |

"Yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!! you two have made up, now can we please figure out how to deal with the 2 ton ball of fur charging our way; without killing it or getting ourselves killed?" Danielle blurted out sarcastically. The polar bear looked like it was hungry, and it appeared to think that they were the ones emitting that oh so delicious smell, and not the God forsaken do-nut themselves. She swung her anchor from over her shoulders onto to ground next to her and prepared herself for the attack. Carrie looked down at the anchor and then looked over at the charging polar bear, and then went into a mad sprint forward in the path of the bear. Everyone looked at her in shock as she seemed to have lost her mind, taking that thing head on. Their shocked faces turned into dull sighs, when they saw her do an about face and came charging back towards the group. She must have relieved how ridiculous it was to charge that thing like that. Or at least that's what they thought, until she pointed at Danielle's anchor and then said with a smirk, "Give me a toss!" Danielle looked at her own anchor and then at Carrie. Giving her a smile, she motioned for her to continue. Carrie approached and then jumped into the air sending a flying drop kick at Danielle's anchor. Danielle held her anchor out, and as Carrie made contact, she gave a little by spinning backwards. Carrie's feet, was planted on the anchor and she also held on tightly with her hand; of course she was using her fruit power to help her keep her grip. Danielle's spun came to a stop, and then she spun forward, letting out a grunt as she flung the anchor like she was swinging a bat. As she did then Carrie jumped off, again using her fruit powers to repel herself from the iron of the anchor. With the force of Danielle's strength and spin, and the force of Carrie's repelling jump. Carrie went shooting out like a cannon. The snow shot up off the ground as she zipped by. She was on the Polar Bear in a blink of the eye, and pulled out her swords, and hit the polar bear on the head with the hilt of her blades. The Polar Bear was knocked off it's feet, and knock clean out by the collision. Carrie on the other hand was knock the the ground, and bounced a great distances away until she slid to a stop. Everyone cheered as they saw that they had put the rather large Polar bear out of commission and then quickly ran over to see if Carrie was alright. When they got there Carrie was still working her way out of the snow pile, that had resulted from her slide, to the sound of everyone asking if she was alright. Finally she popped her head out of the mound of snow, shook the snow off of her face, and then looked around at everyone there. She had a blank look on her face and then asked them with sincerity in her voice, "I'm fine thanks, but... who are you guys? And who am I?" Everyone went paler then a ghost, she must have hit her head, and gotten amnesia. They all went into a panic, no one more so then Heizen. What on earth was he going to do, he had to stay in character. So that meant he would have to tell her that he was her brother, and then he would never be able to win her love. Wait, what has he thinking, he would have to pretend, that she was Serah Mahogany, a bounty hunter, but she was really the revolutionary Banshee. A wanted criminal and next ruler of the free world. That was clearly the most important thing at hand right? In the middle of his and everyone's freaking out, something came out of Carrie's mouth that sent all of the into a frenzy, "Sike!!!! I'm completely fine guys. Let's get moving." They all immediately turned to face her and with fire in their eyes began a mad assault on her with snowballs, they chased her all the way back to were they had found the Yeti track. One would think that they would be taking this more seriously, but no, they were all laughing and playing in the Winter Wonderland, like a bunch of children. And of course Danny was still holding “The Box”, but luckily “The Box” would no longer be the source of slowing them down. No, they would be dealing with something unavoidable, and unstoppable. A snow storm was in the making, and they should have already been looking for cover. "So where to now?" Heizen asked as they were once again looking at the Yeti's foot print and markings. Carrie, who has now covered in snow from, what she felt to be, an unjust snowball pelting, observed the area, trying to figure out which way would be the best place to go. She looked over and saw a valley, and she got this strange feeling like it was calling out to her. That was were they were going to go next. After giving the instruction everyone started to follow her lead, and entered into the valley. As they walked through Danny pulled Heizen back and then said, "Hey man, your sisters pretty incredible." "Yeah, she is... your sister is pretty awesome too" "Tell me, about it... hey, does your sister like older men?" "Well yeah I guess you could say th~... hold on!" Heizen looked at Danny with a glare on his face. At first he hesitated, because he didn't want it to seem weird, but then he relieved, it wouldn't be weird he was playing to role of her brother. He could be the over protective brother, not letting any perverts within a mile of her. This was right up his alley, "Are you trying to hit on my sister!?!" "Hey, keep your voice down man..." Danny whispered as he looked up towards Carrie and Danielle and then continued in a low voice, "What's wrong with that, she's single right? And she's amazing, why wouldn't I try?" He said with a confident look on his face. Danny knew he wasn't the smartest guy in the world, but he knew for a fact that he was damn good looking. It was something he took great pride in. Heizen stared him down and then said, "What if I was trying to hit on your sister, huh?" "Then I'd say go for it. She's a big girl and can take care of herself... besides, she wouldn't go for you anyway. Yeah sure you got that whole dark and mysterious thing going for you, but she doesn't like younger men. Besides why would you want to? she so flat!" Right as he said that, the Anchor that Danielle was holding some how hit Danny in the back of the head. Danny's head cocked forward as he let out a grunt. He looked forward to see that Danielle was still just talking to Serah, as if nothing had happened. She must not have heard him, it must have been some sort of fluke, or sign from God. What ever it was, it didn't change the fact that she was still flatter to week old coke. Heizen raised an eyebrow at Danny as he got slapped in the back of the head by the anchor and went on to say, "Well Ca---Caa--Caoo *cough* *cough*" Heizen had to catch himself because he almost let Carrie's real name slip. He continued to fake cough, as Danny patted him on the back, to make sure he was alright, and the two ladies both looked back at their idiot brother, and then turned around and continued on with their own conversation. Heizen pretended to catch his breath and then continued, "Serah, wouldn't go for you either." "But you just said she liked older guys. You didn't mean...wrinkled old did you? Ewwww!" "No, idiot not that old... your age is not the problem. You're a pretty boy." "Thank you!" Danny responded as he ran his fingers long his eyebrows with a suave smile on his face as he looked at Heizen, who put his hand on his forehead and shook at his head. Danny really had no idea how stupid he looked doing that, with a huge box of do-nuts in his arms. Before he could make an even bigger fool of himself Heizen explained, "No, Danny, that's the problem. She doesn't go for pretty boys. She likes rugged hansom guys, you know, a man's man. Who are also smart, and witty. That's the kind of guy she goes for." "That kind of guys doesn't exist!!!" Danny shouted in defeat, but luckily for him, and perhaps unlucky for Heizen he was too dumb to know how to quite. So he was going to try and win over Serah's love anyway. Heizen wanted to bite his tongue because he knew he just described Tassel. Heizen could also tell by the look in that Danny's eyes, that he was going to try until he couldn't move his body. Heizen couldn't help but feel some measure of respect for that, and would infinity enjoy the many brutal rejections that he was sure to receive. Carrie and Danielle on the other hand were talking about finding somewhere to take shelter, because Danielle could feel a storm coming and knew that they should have probably been looking for a good spot to set up. But now it was too late and they needed to find an enclosure, like a cave soon. As they were brainstorming on where they should camp. They could hear, just about every world their brothers were saying. You could thank their horrible whispering abilities. Danielle who was indeed pissed off about her brother's flat comment leaned over and then told Carrie, "Sorry, for my brother hitting on you in advance. Try and let'em down...as brutally as humanly possible...OK?" Carrie looked over and smiled at her, nodding. She then spotted a Cave over into the distance behind Danielle's head and pointed to it. They both agreed that was the best choice, seeing as they didn't have many other options and then immediately they made their way over to the Cave picking up branches, and kindling. |

The snow storm had started to pick up and the group was gathered around a fire as they watched the snow twist and twirl outside. The cave they had entered was a pretty deep one, but they choose not to venture too far in as they didn't know what could be lurking inside. So instead they stayed far enough away from the entrance, so that they wouldn't be bothered by snow, but close enough to see the exit. It had gotten very cold, even with the fire there; Danny looked over at Carrie who was trying to warm herself up and then said with a seductive smile on his face, "You can cuddle with me Serah, I'll keep you warm." "I'd rather freeze." Carrie snapped with a harsh tone. Heizen and Danielle both laughed at the rejection that Danny had suffered. They each had their own reasons for enjoying it, but they enjoyed it all the same. Carrie then went over to her bag and then pulled out several fur blankets that she had brought before. She wrapped herself inside of them and then said to Danny, "But luckily I don't have to." The others looked at Carrie as she wrapped herself in he blankets, and they all had blank stares on their faces. In their hush to catch up to Carrie, they all had forgotten to bring some extra blankets themselves. They all continued to stare at Carrie, and got colder by just seeing how warm she looked. Carrie looked up from the fire to see that everyone was looking at her, blanket-less. She put two and two together, and rolled her eyes. She then said to the group, "Oh come on...get in here...Danny leave those damn do-nuts over there." Danny who indeed rose from his position with "The Box" in his clutches, dropped it straight back down a walked over to the others who had already got themselves nestled inside of Carrie blanket mound. Now this felt a lot better for everyone, they would be able to get through the night comfortably as far as the temperature was concerned. As they had their massive cuddle session, with some awkward moments thrown in. Like Danny trying to grab Carrie's butt, but getting a hand full of Heizen instead; they tried to use this time to get to know each other. The Trees wanted to know why Carrie would risk her life so willingly just to get information on this one guy. Carrie who had grown to like the two of them, and she didn't really want to lie to them anymore, so she decided she wouldn't, not really. "Well he's a friend...more like a second brother really. He's in a bit of trouble, and I want to find him, before he gets himself hurt. Besides he can be a really useful guy." Carrie really didn't lie to them at all. She just left out a couple of details. Details like he was in a bit of trouble with the Marines, and that she wanted to find him before he got himself hurt by the marines, and that he would be useful to her in her fight against the, you guest it, the Marines. Not to mention that in her eyes, he was a key part in helping her take over the World Government. Danielle nodded her head as she understood. This guy was apparently like family to them, she looked over at Danny and then smiled, she would go the the ends of the earth, if it meant that she could could save him from any type of harm. Danny then asked for the first time since they meet a very good question, "So Soran, if Serah was so willingly to do the impossible for this guy why weren't you?" Heizen responded much to his surprise, without hesitation, "Because he's annoying. Always needs us to get him out some mess, been that way since we were kids. But of course it's always Serah and Soran to the rescue. So excuse me if I'm not in rush to jump in front of a bullet for him." The lie just seemed to roll off his tongue, like water falling from a cliff. Carrie smiled a little bit, as she was pretty impressed that he responded so quickly and with such a believable response. Danielle, and Danny both started to laugh, because it was exactly the kind of response that they would have expected from him. Now it was Carrie and Heizen's turn to ask the questions. "So what made you guys want to become Bounty Hunters? I know you live on an Island full of them, but there has to be more to it the that right?" "Quite right." Danielle responded to Carrie's question. Unlike Carrie and Heizne her and Danny had nothing to hide from the two of them. She was willing to tell them anything that they wanted to know about their lives, because at this moment in time, they trusted the two of them with those very lives. Danielle took a breath as she went on to explain why they had become Bounty Hunters, "Well our father was a Marine stationed on this island. He was a good man, kind to everyone, and everyone loved him, marine and Bounty Hunters alike. One day a pirate tried to raid Pupil Headquarters, he didn't get very far before he was pushed back and forced out of town. But in the chaos of everything that happened, our father was killed." As she said this she was holding back tears and Danny wrapped his arm around his sister. Carrie lowered her head in sadness. It was a common story during this day and age, but it didn't mean it was any less painful for the people involved. Good kids, forced to live without a father because of the actions of someone else. Danielle wiped her nose on Carrie blanket much to Carrie's chagrin, although Carrie wouldn't dare say anything giving the current situation. Danielle then continued on with her tale, "The Marines were too busy helping repair things around town, and none of the Bounty Hunters around here could track the son of bitch down. So me and Danny decided to go after him ourselves. We were going to join the Marines but instead choose the faster route for our revenge, and became Bounty Hunter. It took us 5 years to track him down, and during those 5 years we brought in other bounties, made a name for ourselves around here. It took some planning because he was very strong, and we still weren't able to kill him. He escaped again." "I see..." Is all Carrie could say when Danielle finished her story. They did what they had to do, and she respected that greatly. She was sure she would have done the same thing in their situation. Danny then looked up at Carrie and Heizen and then finished his sisters thought, "Since then we have been taking on specific Bounties. Until we are positive that we are strong enough to kill him." "What kind of Bounties are those." Heizen asked seriously, because for the first time Danny seemed to be very serious. Danny looked Heizen dead in the eyes, and it he didn't know better it was like he was directly giving him a warning, "Marine killers..." Carrie was a bit shocked by the turn of events but she couldn't let it show on her face. She was at this very moment, cuddling with two people who very well may be her biggest enemies. She wouldn't show any signs of panic however, because they didn't have any idea who she or Heizen really were, and she didn't want to let on who they were either. Especially with the weather the way it was at the moment. Carrie just simply sighed to herself, as it was obvious that she wouldn't be able to get these two to join her Revolution, especially when their father was one of the good ones. The conversation got progressively lighter from that point on. Eventually all four of them began to doze off with the warm light of the fire flickering on their faces. The moment the 4 of them were in a deep sleep they were visited by a rather large guest, who came from deep within the cave. The creature stood over them and the fire looking down at them about to attack, but then something else caught it's attention. An Unbelievable sweet smell entered into his nose. He turned around and saw the source of this delight. "The Box" sat there in front of it. The Creature quickly picked it up and made it's way deep into the cave. It would seem that Danny's dumb do-nuts had saved the day, and put them on the right path. One thing was for certain, Danny was going to be pissed waking up to find no sign of his precious do-nuts. But maybe this time everyone would actually care that they were missing. Edited by bluewingedD, Feb 23 2012, 01:08 PM.

"WHAT THE HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!" Danny's voice rang through out the cave. The morning light had indeed came and gone, but to make matters worst the exit was blocked off by a wall of snow, only the very top was not covered and sunlight peaked it's way through illuminating the cave. This however was not the reason Danny was shouting. No, it was something far worse far more concerning, at least in Danny's eyes, "WHAT IN BLUE BLAZES HAPPENED TO MY FREAK'IN DO-NUTS??!!!" Danny belted out, as everyone who was starting to wake up was wide awake now. Everyone looked around and saw that they were trapped behind a wall of snow, and then looked over at Danny, who was more concerned by his do-nuts. Carrie watched as Danny knelt over the area were he was sure he had left "The Box", and shook her head. As she shook her head she noticed something as the rays of light lite up the floor. There were tracks rather large tracks, and they started where "The Box" was, and lead deeper into the cave. Carrie hit Heizen and Danielle on the shoulder and pointed down at the track, the 3 of them smiled together as they knew what this meant. The Yeti, were right around the corner deep in this cave, all they had to do was journey further in. Danny looked at the group as they finally started to pack up their things so they could began to head into the depths of the cave. After Carrie explained everything that was going on to him, he was filled with renewed vigor, and excitement. He wasn't excited by the fact that they were close to the Yetis, Yetie? Yeties? What ever the plural form of Yeti was, he didn't care about the fact that they were close to getting through all of this craziness. He didn't even care about the fact that he may have been right about the Yeti loving do-nuts idea. Although it would hit him sooner or later. He was far more concern with kicking the Yeti who stole his do-nuts ass. He packed up his belongings as fast as he could, with was really fast, as far as everyone else was concerned. After packing his things, he put his pack on and then ran, screaming through the cave, heading deeper inside before the others even had time to tell him to wait. They all knew that he was going to get himself into some kind of trouble and that they were going to have to bail him out. Luckily for them, Danny's excitement was quelled by an extravagant sight like he had never seen. He then shouted back at everyone, "UUMMMMM GUYS...I THINK YOU'RE GONNA WANT TO SEE THIS!!!!" Everyone made there way to Danny's side. Their collective jaws dropped nearly to the cave floor. When they looked out they couldn't believe what they were seeing. The cave opened up into a massive cavern. It looked like something out of a child's dream. The entire floor was covered in ice, there were what looked like ice tracks, flowing through the area, and wrapped around stone pillars that reach almost to the extremely high ceiling. There were stone plateaus covered in snow, with even a bit of greenery spring from them, like trees. There were blue animals flying up along the ceiling, and they looked liked large bats. They could see all manner of animals off in the distance. Snow Bunnies, foxes, POLAR BEARS(much to Carrie's pleasure), and even some wolves, they would have to take care to try and avoid them. What really made this place look amazing was the holes in high ceiling were the sunlight crept through, that made the ice sparkle like diamonds. It was a whole other world down here. Even if they couldn't find the Yeti just seeing this place made the journey worth while. Danielle couldn't understand why no one had ever mention a place like this. Maybe no one had ever found this place and if that was case, this was extraordinary indeed. They all stood there for a moment and in one collective they all said, "WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!" They stood on the cliff and looked out over this Hidden Cavern. Carrie finally snapped out of it, and started to look for a way down, and she found one, that looked like it was going to be super fun. She point over to an ice track, that swooped around in front of the ledge they where on, a couple yards to the right, the track led all the way down, to a snowy plateau. They made their way down to the Track and then jumped on and slid their way down. They rolled over on the plateau, with a smile on their faces. As Carrie looked around it seemed as if the tracks connected to all the plateaus. She didn't know if this was done purposely, or if this was just some spectacle of nature. The ice on the cavern floor looked suspect at best upon further inspection so the best bet really was traveling along these ice tracks which looked a lot more solid oddly enough, to get through this place. Carrie was still in awe of what she and her group had found, but she had to focus on finding were those Yeti were at. As soon as she started to think about it, something caught her eye off in the distance. It was a massive jagged rock formation, so large it would be difficult for the untrained eye to tell exactly how far away it was. It looked like a castle really, and of course it had ice track twirling around it, and snow draped over it's jagged peaks. Every bone in her body told her that that was the exact place they needed to go. The only way it could have been more clear is if there was a huge neon sign. Carrie pointed up a ahead at were they needed to go. It was very far away, about a days walks regularly, but there was no telling how long it would take trying to track through this place. With the way things had been going she was sure that they were going to run into a couple snags along the way. "Well I guess we better be getting a move on. I want to cover as much ground as possible before night fall. There's no telling what this place is like at night." Everyone shook their heads in agreement, and then followed suit behind Carrie. While they were walking, Carrie had a million thoughts running through her head. The biggest one being how they were going to deal with the actually Yeti. She had never encountered one, so had no idea, how powerful it really was. Should she just go for a full out attack, try to trap it, or what? There was also the million dollar question that was probably even more important then how to deal with the Yeti. That question was, "How the hell are we going to get out of here?" She thought to herself, as she didn't want to alarm the others, who probably all but forgot about the fact that the entrance to this place was sealed off by a wall of snow, and if another snow storm hit they really were going to be screwed. Carrie rubbed the back of her head as she continued to rack her brain for solutions, to the problems at hand. Right about now she was wishing she had Akila and James here to help. That would things a lot easier. |

Carrie and the group were now running full tilt towards the next ice track. Because right behind them was a pack of wolves. Guess who's fault it was? That's right it was Danny's fault yet again. They were doing just fine, sneaking by the sleeping pack, but Danny got the brilliant idea to pet one of them. They made it to the ice track and jumped on it, and went into a slide. Danielle who was trailing behind everyone took her Anchor and slammed it behind her causing the ice track to crack. As they slid down with the wolves running behind them, the Ice track began to buckle. This track was particularly long and they were now passing over a large crevasse, and the bottom could not be seen. Everyone looked over their shoulders as the wolves fell down from the collapsing ice track, with a relieved look on their faces. They approached the next plateau but before Carrie foot could touch it's surface the entire ice track simply collapsed underneath them and they went free falling through the large crevasse. As they were falling they all sent a glare over at Danny. If they died it was that idiots fault, but Danielle wasn't ready to call it quits just yet. She put her Anchor out in front of her and narrowed her body as she gained speed going down. She then grinned her Anchor into the side of the crevasse wall and then shouted, "Everyone hold hands." Everyone immediately grabbed each-others hand, and as soon as Carrie spotted Danielle standing on her anchor that was lodged into the wall, she reached out to grab her arm. Danielle gripped onto her, the force of their fall dislodged the anchor a bit, but it had enough staying power for Danielle to swing the group to the crevasse wall. They let go of each others hands and Carrie drew her swords, and stabbed them into the wall. Danny shouted out for Soran as he threw 2 daggers his way. Heizen caught them and then stabbed them into the wall, as Danny pulled out 2 more Daggers and stabbed them into the wall as well. They all were breathing heavily as they hung attached to the crevasse. Their bags had fallen to the base of the crevasse during their attempt to get a foot hold. Carrie however, had managed to kept a couple of glow sticks. Carrie looked up and could still see the light of the Hidden Cavern above, but there was nothing but darkness, below them. She had no idea which was closer the bottom of the crevasse, or the top. There was one thing she was sure about though. Their bags were down there, and there was no way they were going to make it out of this place with out the thing in their bags, so were they needed to go was clear. Danielle pulled out a couple daggers of her own and dug them into the wall. She then kicked her anchor off the wall, and let it fall. A loud thud could be heard as it hit the bottom of the crevasse, which happened about 3 seconds after it left the wall. Carrie was relieved as it would seem that this place indeed had a bottom and it wasn't to far down. She pulled out a glow-stick cracked and shook it then threw it down. Danny freak out that she threw away their only light source. Carrie glared at him and then said, "We need to know how far we are from the bottom, besides I have a couple more on me. So let's get moving." Danny frowned as he didn't know who died and made her the leader. Carrie looked down and saw the supple green glow of the glow-stick. If they were going to be caring with their descent it was going to take them some time to get down. The group began their long travel down the crevasse, all the while they were cursing Danny's name. Danielle had the wonderful idea of putting Danny on a leash, so he wouldn't be able to cause anymore trouble. They finally got a view of the bottom of the crevasse. When they got close enough they all just jumped down to the floor. Carrie picked up the glow-stick and then looked around where they were, it was very dark down here, and Carrie really didn't like it at all. She looked around and then saw a path through a crack in the wall. She got the attention of the others as they all found their bags, and then they went on the move again. This thing was getting more out of hand, now they were really stuck, and it would take some luck to get out of here. They made their way through the dark path with Carrie leading the way with her glow stick. They were walking from quite sometime not seeing anything, but cave bugs. Finally, they saw a light coming from up ahead. Carrie put down the glow-stick and when they came up to the end of the crack's path. The end of the path was blocked off with boards. Carrie quickly smashed the boards out of the away, and entered into the opening. The entire place had what looked like glow worms along it's ceiling. But there was also something very disturbing, when they looked down, there were homemade chairs, made from wolf skin, and things like a Polar Bear throw rug. Someone defiantly lived here, as strange as that may sound. "Looks like we're not the only ones down here." "Yeah and I doubt their friendly. The only people who would be down here are runaway Bounty heads." Both Carrie and Danielle warned the group. Danny was thinking something completely different, he was thinking that maybe the Yeti had did all this. Maybe they were as smart as humans, were. They continued to make their way through this surprising scene. They spent about 30 minutes, walking through what looked like lodgings. At first they didn't think anyone knew about this place, but now it looked like they may have stumbled onto to something much bigger then they previously thought. Looking for the Yeti some how didn't seem so important anymore. Figuring out what the hell was going on here, seemed like the more pressing matter at hand because Carrie was sure it couldn't be good. Her thoughts about the situation came into reality, when they stumbled on something strange. They opened up a door, and found themselves in another open space, it was a very large open space, like the one they saw when they entered the Hidden Cavern. Only this time to it wasn't lite up by sunlight, or glow worms, but by actual lights, and the area wasn't quite as big; it was about the the size of a small city. All around them they could see adobe buildings, and int he distance they could see large metal constructs, and hear the sound of digging machine. There was machinery everyone, and you could hear the voices of people in the distance. This was some kind of mining city, and it looked like it had been going on for a while, What they were mining was still a mystery them. "Oh good, there are other people here. Maybe we can get some help?" "No that would be a very bad idea... VERY bad!" Danielle responded to Danny as she point to a jolly roger on one of the machines. It had a Skull, with long blood red hair, falling around it. Danny's eyes widened and he then said, "Oh crap you gotta be kidding me?" "What? What's the problem?" Heizen asked, he didn't have any idea about what was going in the pirate world so he had no idea what the deal with this jolly roger was. Danielle had a serious look on her face and then said, "It's Valentino "Blood Mane" Burgess. It's the man who killed our father. Quiet a few of his men have been caught over the years, but most manage to escape to the Winter Wonderland. Apparently they were caught on purpose just so they could escape here. No one ever paid too much attention to it, because they were never heard from again. That bastard probably used that attack all those years ago to cover up what he really wanted." Carrie looked around at all the Machinery, this was obviously set up by this Valentino guy, so their was defiantly something that this guy was looking for. Carrie wouldn't think that he was would be here himself. From the looks of things he seemed to be pretty smart, so he wouldn't be dumb enough to be here himself. No, sending in men was the smartest thing to do. Carrie and the others hide behind a rock formation as a group of men walked pass their location. Danielle looked over at Carrie and then said seriously, "Serah, we need to stop whatever they're doing here. This guy is bad news. He's ruthless, merciless, and we have to stop him from getting his hands on whatever is here." Carrie thought about it for a amount, this Valentino guy, seemed to be a major pain in the ass for the Marines, and leaving him to his on devices would be beneficial to her, but then again getting her hands on whatever he wanted so badly might be even more beneficial to her and her cause. Speaking of her cause, if this man was as brutal as they said then she really couldn't just ignore them. So she would put a stop to what was going on, and she would let him know who was responsible for it. "Did you hear about what happened?...Yeah they were attacked by a group of Yeti... Again? I didn't even know that Yeti existed before I got here, and now there's an attack like everyday." The group heard two men talking on the other side of the rock formation. A smile had came across all of them faces, it looked like they could kill two birds with one stone on this one. Carrie then whispered to the group, "Alright let's make this quick. We're splitting up, let's destroy those four big machines on the edges. It looks like they do most of the digging, and meet at the that building in the center afterward. Try not to be seen." They shook their heads, and then dropped their bags on the ground as they started to move out. As they came from around the rock, Carrie and Danielle grabbed the men that were there by the head, and threw them against the rock. The four of them then took off in their separate destinations. Danny had to change his coarse once he relieved that he was heading in the same direction as Heizen, with a goofy smile on his face, he quickly turned around, and head where he needed to. Danny raced through the site, staying in the shadows and slaying anyone who got a glimpse on him. The moment they laid eyes on him they had a dagger across their throats. Although he had gotten turned around at the beginning he was the first person to make it to his location. He was indeed very fast and agile. He demonstrated that fact by climbing up the side of the large mining machine instead of using to ladder that was clearly there. He reached the top and was greeted by half a dozen men looking over the mechanism. The 6 of them turned around and saw the intruder, Danny rubbed the back of his head a little embarrassed that he had been discovered. He shrugged his shoulders and then drew his two daggers. He twirled the dagger around his fingers and then said, "Well so much for going unnoticed...eh?" The men looked at the clueless blonde, and then charged him without mercy. Meanwhile Heizen was making his way towards the machine. He didn't have such quiet weapons such as a dagger like Danny had. He had his loud guns, so he would have to be very careful not to be spotted. He crept behind one of the men near the Machines base and then chopped him in the back of the neck with the butt of his gun. He searched the area to see if anyone else was coming and then looked up at the the ladder. He made a sniffing noise as he knew that climbing up that thing was going to get him spotted for sure. Hezien looked around trying to find any other way up to the top. As he heard someone coming, he spotted a rope and leveler, the rope was holding up a large crate near the top. Heizen ran over too the rope and then kicked the leveler. As he kicked it the crate came falling to the ground as Heizen shot up, and was launched into the air and landed softly on the top of the Machine. As the crate hit the ground the 2 men manning this machine looked over the side to see that a crate had fell. There was also the man that Heizen had heard coming his way, who was now looking at the destroyed crate and then looked up at the other men and then shrugged his shoulders. His face turned into shock when the two men he was looking at came crashing down on the top of him without warning. Heizen's white scarf dangled over the side of the machine as as he looked down with a smile. That was easier then he thought it was going to be. But it's not like they were expecting them, so he would have to pat himself on the shoulder some other time. He turned around and looked at the machinery in front of him and then said to himself, "OK, now here comes the hard part. How the hell am I suppose to destroy this thing?" On another side of the this massive cave within a cave, Danielle was making her way through the working supplies, and rock pillars. From the looks of things they weren't looking for anyone thing in particular, they seemed to be mining rare material to sell and use for themselves. She saw several crates filled with jewels, and even some ever rare Seastone. They had a whole operation going on down here, this place was apparently a regular smorgasbord of precious metals. If the Marines knew about this place, they could boost their strength. A man saw the small girl running with the large anchor he was about to yell, but a dagger was in his throat before he could shout. Danielle looked at her weapon and then cursed, she was easy to spot, with this huge thing, so she would have to quickly destroy this damn machine. There was no time for her to be delicate about it. She ran towards the digging machine, and saw the gears turning at its foot. She smirked as she knew exactly what it was she needed to do. She charged forwards as she gripped onto her anchor as hard as she could. She slid to a stop and went into a spin as she prepared to launch her weapon at the turning gears. Last but not least Carrie was heading towards the Machine on the other side of the city, from Danny. Now that she was alone, with none of the others around, she was free to use her devil fruit powers without a care in the world, and with all this machinery around, it made things incredibly easy for her. With a flick of her wrist, she set a wrench into the temple of a nearby worker man. Another man in the distanced spotted her but he was silenced when his own blade went into his chest. He fell to the ground as he was in too much shock to do much of anything else. Carrie now stood in front of her target with her hands in her pocket as she looked up. She stretched out her hand, and her body levitated into the air. She hopped or more like floated to metal railing after railing. She soon attracted herself to the top of the large machine. She grabbed onto to metal roof of it and hung there, the 4 men manning this machine all had their backs facing Carrie. She swung in, and hovered down, she then quickly took out all 4 of them. "Now let's see what we can do about this thing." She out stretch her arms, as she began to pull on the machinery inside of the control panel. She grunted as she could feel the metal being ripped out place. She smiled as the sparks flew up from the panel, and the panel itself began to crack. Her smile turned into a worried look. She heard a scream in the distant, followed by a loud roaring noise. She had never heard any animal make a noise quite like that before. She didn't know what to make of it, until she saw it for herself. A large beast, that stood at least 10 or 12 feet tall and it's fur shined with a silver hue. Carrie's eyes widened, as the beast swung from the hanging stone pillars and then said to herself, "Yeti!!" As she said this several other Yeti came swinging into sight. They were coming out of a large crack in the wall; the machine that Carrie was taken care of was closest to it, so she saw all of them as they came out. These were even bigger then the other. Where were they coming from, and why were they coming out now? Another appeared out of the the crack, and he was the biggest one yet. Carrie shocked by the size when she saw the thing. It swung up and landed on top on the machine that Carrie was on and then let out a monstrous yell. Carrie had to cover her ears the creature roared so loud. Danny had dispatched with the 6 men and was about to try tinkering with the Machine when he heard the roar, Heizen was about to take a shot at the gas line to try and blow his up, and Danielle's attack came to a screeching halt as she instead slammed her anchor onto to ground. All of them looked over to where the sound was coming from, and saw the Yeti swinging on the ceiling spreading out around this mining city. They all realized that the roar came from Carrie's location, "Shit Carrie!" "Oh, no Serah!" "Dammit Serah's in trouble." They all began to abandon their post and run as fast as they could towards Carrie's machine. They all stopped in their tracks as they knew that Carrie would be more pissed if they tried to save her, without taking care of business first. Around them many of Valentino's men, started to come out and attack the Yeti swinging on the ceiling. Some of the men coming to fight the Yeti passed right by Danielle. It would appear the men were far more concerned with shooting down those Yeti. This place was getting out of control, and none of them could believe what was going on. Back with Carrie the large Yeti, had stopped it's roar and then bent over and peaked inside of the top of the machine to see Carrie standing there. Carrie had a large smile on her face as she said, "Hello!!! I'm going to be taking you're skin... if you don't mind. Hehehe!" The beast let out another roar right in Carries face, who covered up her nose because the creatures breath stuck to high hell. She hadn't smelt anything quite like it before. |
