It is where the Fleet Admiral, the three Admirals reside, along with many Vice Admirals and lower officers when they aren't assigned to another base. The city surrounding Marine HQ is inhabited by the families of Marine soldiers. Marineford is one of the worlds great powers. Marineford Tower The Marineford tower is the place where all the World Government officials reside as long as they are on Marineford. Many of the meetings between the Fleet-Admiral, Admirals and Vice-Admirals happen here. It's also the place where the bounties are decided upon. The Ox Bell The Ox Bell is a sacred bell that is kept in the plaza of Marineford. It was originally on the warship Ox Lloyd's. The bell signifies the end of one year and the beginning of another. It is rung eight times to give thanks for the old year, and another eight times to welcome the new year. If it is rung twice that signifies some sort of disaster or distress. Gates of Justice The Marineford Gate of Justice is one of the three massive structures that are each located at the Marine Headquarters, Impel Down, and Enies Lobby.
