Ah yes, it all started when me and my plato- *Snore* ........ Huh? How long was I out? Where was I in the story?

Oh right, I was just starting, thank you. Hoohoo. Well, this is quite the doozy of a story I'll tell you now. It all started when me and my platoon were wandering the syrup falls of Caque. It was a dark day, the clouds of icing ran thick in the skies, me and my comrades walked in the stealth of the sugar cane fields. What was our goal? To ambush a very specific cart. This cart was holding a very important member of our side of the war. The Pudding King, of the Chocolate era. He was a prisoner of war, and we needed him back! When we got to our designated waiting location we began to set up camp. But we can't just leave the place unwatched... So I decide to send my best friend, Colonel Eclair to watch the front road. If something happens, or our target arrives, I can absolutely rely on him to relay the information back to me in record breaking time.

But even Grand General's like me make mistakes from time to time. I sent Gum Drop to the back fields to scout. I man out of my jurisdiction, in an element he wasn't hired to do... I should of given that young lad Butter a shot... Sure he was green, but at least he was mine and willing. When I asked Gum Drop to go scout, all's he did was moan, he went in that general direction, but I never heard any signal from him... And before we knew it, three cupcake soldiers had flanked our rear. Gum Drop was no where in sight. I ordered Pretzel and Butter to stand down, all three of us raising our hands. This was a troublesome matter so I, quickly pulled out a custard grenade and tossed it at those blasted cupcakes... Our problem was solved. But we had just created another. The noise of the custard bomb was so loud that we were forced to move position. If we wanted to finish our mission right... We'd have to move up closer into enemy territory, the middle road was no longer silent.

I ordered my platoon, now without an infiltrations expert, to make our way into enemy territory. Thankfully the objective hasn't gone past yet. Deeper into the enemys jungles we set up camp again... I ordered the rookie to scout the back this time, along with Eclair to the front. It shouldn't go wrong on scouting this time... I look over to Pretzel, and he seems out of it...

Pretzel, what's going on. I said casually as I sit near him. He looks into the sky... And says nothing. Maybe I was too assertive? Either way he gave me the cold shoulder. After losing someone... The cold shoulder isn't what I would of liked. But I just let it go, and decided finally that giving him some space was the only option...

We sat there for many a hours. Quietly and carefully. Until Eclair ran up to the group. He exclaimed that the time was now... So it was time to put a plan into action. TO SAVE PUDDING! So... It was time for us to sit back, and wait for them to mess up. Then we'd seize the moment.

We sat... And we sat... And we moved. We watched in complete and utter silence. All of us, just waiting for one of them to slip up... Just one of them. And we watched. Watched for that one opening... But...

Oh my... This isn't good... It's all coming back to me... We sat there, and just waited... But there was nothing... They were always in formation! They were always on guard! We never got our chance. Pudding got away... And it was all my fault... I didn't stop any war... I... I need to go apologize to my grandson... I'm sorry kids, Grandpa can't tell any more stories...
