Announcement

The Character Application Freeze has been lifted, and characters may now be accepted by staff. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but all issues have now been resolved and there shall be no further freezes like this in the future.

Now, there are a few things you might want to check out, High Rank Positions are still open to those who wish to attain such a rank of power, and have the necessary strength requirements, and we are still looking for some staff members! Feel free to apply in the Buster Call thread created for such a purpose.

In other news, the January event has passed it's deadline, and the February event is on it's way, look forward to it because it shall benefit those of you who RP!

Christmas in July

Christmas; a time of white, for receiving and (mostly) giving. A 'hallmark holiday' for some while remaining more a day of togetherness for others, or perhaps a combination of both. Oh, and a day Santa arrives to roam all about the seas in the dead of night, when nobody is looking. Yes, I said the seas, thus leading me to the point of this event: Santa is coming to the seas. Yes, in July. And it's snowing, for one night only.

Nobody ever said everything has to make sense, did they?

That being said, whether or not your characters celebrate Christmas, it will be visiting them for one night this month. Using the following template, link to a thread in which this occurs; how that happens or what happens there is up to you, so be creative! The better you portray it, the more SP you're likely to get, and you can always use multiple characters for more chances at it. Only one thread is allowed per character, however, and they don't have to be complete to be rewarded. Post the template in this thread even while the rp(s) is/are still running, if you wish.

This year, I have been a very good man. I've used my sword for the likes of good, not evil, and have always given others a helping hand when they need it. I've been very careful with everything I own... I think. I wanted to ask you to bring me one of the following things my list; it would truthfully make my day. I've even ordered them from greatest to least on a scale of how much they would help me fight the bad guys!


  2. A ship fit to carry a king... Long and black, carved from the finest Adam Wood, able carry legions of men, with a plethora of canons, greater than any ship the world has ever known. Pirates will quake at its mere thought, and all others will bow to its superior beauty... A man that is a born leader attracts men of great caliber, a man who tames animals is respected by their species, and a man who contorts the will of monsters to his own is truly a man to be feared... Could you help me, in some way, to become these men?
  6. I've wanted a few basic dials and a couple of baby and full-grown Den Den Mushi for some inventions I had in mind... Who knows how these might turn out?
  7. A little extra money in the pocket of a man is always helpful, is it not? Some extra Beli for my travels could take me a long way...
