OOC The sun shine brightly at the island of Dahngrest, a start of a new day like no other in this forsaken guild affiliated island. Ranmaru Hoza has managed to make a name for himself from his past day of being a Bounty hunter, he had hunted several name down with ease. Many rookies in the island know his name, but many people don’t know him too… After returning back to Dahngrest after his mission, Ranma decided to rest this couple of day off. Spending his time in local library and bar to drink and learn new stuff, also looking for some job too… “Do you have any beer old man?” he asks to the old looking bartender, taking a deep breath as he did so. The old man replied with a slight nod and quickly serves the beer Ranma ask. He held up his breathing mask to let the straw get in to his mouth and so that he can drink his cold beverage. Nothing interesting had happen in the bar, mostly because of the customer there just minding their own business. He leaves some beli on the table as he stood up and exits the bar… Filled with boredom once again, Ranma decided to look for a job in the nearby guild. Many bounty hunters is gathering at the guild, looking for some job or just chilin out after hunting their target. Ranma approach a wall filled with wanted poster, many of the low threat poster has been sign with an X, which mean they are taken care of… so the only option left is some high threat pirates. He spotted a bounty poster which got his attention, the bounty is not high and not low either… a target with a perfect bounty that he was looking for. Ranma rips the poster from the wall and headed to the dock ready to sail… that went something intriguing has caught his attention, from the far corner of the dock he sees a big sized guy with punk like appearance… he was Rampart Rhino, like his name suggest a guy with the rhino zoan devil fruit that worth 25 million beli… the mark that he was about to search for. With a grimace grin on his face, Ranma draw his sword and approach the Mohawk haired guy. One thing he didn’t get though is that why a pirate with a bounty on his head would come to an island filled with bounty hunters… On the other side of the dock… Kuro is sleeping on a little boat, covering his eyes with his bandanna from the sunlight. It’s been 5 months since he was saved by his step brother from Shell Town, with his bounty now removed because he is reported dead in the battle, he decided to become a bounty hunter and started a new life with another name, Red. He and his brother manage to hunt many pirates in the past few months, gaining a name for him as a bounty hunter. Their formed the Zodiac Prophecy, a secret bounty hunter organization with several other member that Ranma personally pick. Not one of them know Kuro past except his step brother, he doesn’t even talk to any of them yet… even though he recognize a few faces like Tetsu, his former first mate whom now work as a bounty hunter. A grumbling sound that came from his stomach wake him from his slumber, stretching his arm and moan like a tiger. This couple of days have been boring lately since he doesn’t have any marks to hunt, that’s why he spend his day on this little boat to go fishing. “What time is it?” Kuro muttered as he looks around. Noticing an enormous looking guy docking his ship besides Kuro’s, both of his eyes is blank looking, it’s like his been hypnotized or somethin. “Do I know you?” he asked with a confuse look as the Mohawk haired guy glare at Kuro… Edited by LexLuthor, Jun 27 2012, 10:55 PM.

Jigoku wasn't a busy man, and he certainly wasn't one to rush things. At the moment he was both jobless and pretty moneyless but he didn't really care at the moment because it was a beautiful day. He had all day to find another job so he was taking his time. He was perched on of a grassy bank on top of a cliff about a mile away from town. He was a member of the newly formed Zodiac's Prophecy and there was supposed to be some sort of hunt around this sort of time in the month but he had no idea what was going on. So at the moment he was just hoping to see someone else he knew, such as Ranmaru Hoza or Skyler or Tetsu. He knew quite a lot of the current bounties in the area and he had a few in mind that he wanted to catch so he was hoping that they hadn't been taken yet. He sat up, pondering on what to do, when a piece of paper flew past him thrown about by a strong gust of wind. It was just floating, being blown in every direction. "Save's me a walk.." Jigoku said to himself and he turned his arm into sand and threw it skyward then the end turned into a hand shaped and he grasped the paper and brought it down gently. He spent about a minute staring at the paper intently taking all the aspects of the mark and then he lay the sheet down next to him. He had already memorized the characteristics of the guy he was going after. "Oh well, might as well get going" he thought to himself. He stumbled down the rocky cliff face. He reached the bottom and peered towards the direction the town was in. Then set off at a heavy jog. Within 5 minutes he reached the town, so he started off towards the docks. As he turned the corner of a house he came into full view of the docks. The first thing he noticed was his friend Ranma. "Hey Ranma" He shouted, "Is it the hunt already? Thats a shame because i'd just found someone we could..." He trailed off as he saw the very man he was originally after. "Hey thats him!" He said to Hoza, drawing his huge sword from his back. The ship he'd come with was pretty modest, something he'd wanted to come here bearing a certain amount of discretion with. He didn't have much of a crew with him, but he was quite capable of single-handedly manning the three small-mid size sails that did power this vessel. It didn't truly stand out among many of the boats that did arrive here at Dahngrest and Rampart Rhino had thought about such things. Still, this mission, this entire idea, had been a wild idea from the start -- get into Dahngrest relatively unnoticed, Hopefully, there were enough problems to deal with here without anything standing in the way of him and his big shot bounty hunter brother. That wild cat was probably the only guy capable of saving him from this bounty now. His ties to both the Marines and Revolutionaries made him somewhat of a pet in either circle. He was a snake that could get things done, his brother. If only he could get to him. It was regret that had pushed him here. Sorrow and solitude had been his punishment, following him like a pair of stray dogs, constantly barking blame and curse at him as he gritted his teeth, lashing the entire set of ropes to the front of his boat in a set of knots he'd mastered long ago, skilfully securing the sails as he grabbed the anchor of the boat while it moored upon Dahngrest and then leaped out onto the sand, yanking the boat along the anchor and helping its' momentum to bring the ship a good distance in. There would need to be a good amount of strong men available to push this back into the sea .. unless he was doing it, since he was the only one who knew how. However, the moment of indescretion almost instantly vanished. The anguish over his previous crimes disappeared. Do you know me? No. But you do sound like someone that doesn't want me to be here. Rampart Rhino thought to himself as Kuro approached him, deciding to continue walking towards Dahngrest and find the closest set of trees, and cover. The open sand and this fellow had him on a trigger that was beginning to involve a hair, already. And then, just beyond Kuro, was a man coming towards him from inside the island, and unseathing a blade, and still coming at him. Rampart Rhino had had enough. Ramming his arms straight into into the ground, he ripped up a chunk of the sand itself in a sandy/earthen sphere and tilted the very earth that Kuro and Ranma stood upon with a good ten meter radius or so. On his hands were grey/metallic gauntlets that one may not have seen in the huge rhino/hybrid form he was in right now. These began to send vibrations into the earth he was tilting, and would cause a dust storm to fly at and all around Ranma and Kuro whilst also turning the sandy ground they were on vibrating too hard to remain standing on steadily. "No, you do not." he replied to Kuro as he held the large sphere of earth he'd ripped out of the ground aloft, and vibrating, really hoping he hadn't simply made it to the beach and found someone wanting his head already. The open seas these days. |

Ramparts ram his arm into the ground, creating a sphere around him that manages to tilt Ranma, Kuro and Jigoku. It’s probably a bad idea to approach a pirate with a weapon on your hand, especially if it’s a big rhino guy. Shortly after Rampart punches the ground, vibrations is sent into the earth followed by a dust storm storming on both of them. “Watch out! he warn to Jigoku as his shadow emerged from the ground and creates a black wall from his silhouette that cover both of them from the dust storm. Unfortunately for Kuro whom was unprotected from the sand storm is sending him off the ground. Seconds passes as the dust storm stop, Kuro eyes is blurred with dust particles, making it hard for him to see anything. “Welp… someone is angry” Kuro crooned as rubs his eyes trying to see clearer. The black wall that was protecting Ranma and Jigoku slowly merged back to the ground and turn into shadow again. Pausing for a while to breath and strengthened his stance once again as he prepare to attack him. “You distract him while I save Red” Ranma orders Jigoku as he merges into his shadow and travels across Rampart. Hopefully, Jigoku distraction is enough to keep him busy while Ranma save Kuro. |

Such an glorious and well weather day to be taking a stroll or possibly passing the time sight seeing for a new tourist who just came into town. Well that ideal would have to be cut short considering that this tourist that was being point out to was late arriving and thus had already learned of cooperatives already carrying the assignment she was given, the reason she was there. As of now, she was just stepping off the boat that hit the docks and was immediately fixing her hair as if she wasn't in any way going to ruin it within moments of her run in with the bounty that she was handed to take care of once he presented himself on the said island. Rampart wasn't to be taking likely; considering he's a 25 million beli bounty Zoan. And this female of the bounty hunter crew was taking this either a bit to lightly, or had just about other plans rather then dealing with having to battle it our with their target in question. With her hair pinned back into a pony tail and her eye glasses slightly pushed by her finger to the bridge of her nose, she did a quick surveillance around her area before proceed to the designated meeting point. Of course with her sex appeal leaking out of her casual, knee level skirt and white button blouse covered by a office vest; she still had the men turning heads. Usually when men give beautiful females the attention, they usually are either ignored or cursed out; but for this young lady in particle understanding, she was the one who shot back kisses and winks while loving the ever giving sexual advances these men threw in her direction. Candice was so use to the gestures from men, that it made her feel so comfortable. Even if this was an island of bounty hunters who were mostly thirsty men who been chasing down other men so much, that they forget to get their rocks off once in awhile with the opposite sex. However not to far down the boardwalk as she was busy trying to not trip over her heels while being rain on by thoughtfulness of others, despite their ill intention of their reasons why; Candice caught what looks to be to her as a scuffle that is between what look to be an outnumber advantage versus one guy. Now the first thing about Skyler's morality is that her quick reaction is the thought of a fight that was just unfair to her and she would quickly have to even out the odds of this fight or she'll feel guilty if they manage to beat down this one guy so easily leaving him close to dead. "Oh lord! I have to do something!" Without even concerning herself with who these people were, she automatically assumed they were no one that matter in her eyes. That was until she came up to close and noticed the actual faces that revealed right after the dust from the pulled up earth settle. "Kuro? Jigoki? Ranma?!" The look of surpise swept her face as she stared at them for the moment trying to take in what was going on before she slightly noticed the guy they were trying to take on was none other than the bounty head himself.... "RAMPART!" She shrieked as she quickly put out her left hand in defense and quickly follow-up with a stance, despite her walking in some heels in the sand. |

Perhaps it was understandable to be so furious at this point. Having just arrived on the Island, with the intentions of meeting his brother and removing a literal stain on his name, Rampart Rhino had already been met by three straight-out bounty hunters. He'd managed to push them away by physically ripping up some of the beach in front of him. Kuro's wall of shadow hadn't gone unnoticed, and neither had the approaching Candice. Deciding enough was enough, he figured that the expected norm would be to go after the three men vying for his life, most likely, and either leave the girl alone or deal with her in a gentle manner and be done with things. Do something drastic to avoid incurring a further bounty while he was at it, then find his brother and finish what he'd come here for. So, forget it. He'd win here, now, and damned if he was playing by the rules. Kicking the huge chunk of sand and beach, still vibrating from the initial blow into the ground, at Candice with a brutal roar, it was sent sliding along in her approaching direction as he turned with an angry snort at the other three men as he saw an approaching shadow and slammed his silver-gloved (and massively mechanic) fist into the ground again, a tornado of sand and earth erupting around him as he then swung his fist and weapon apparatus at the shadow of Kuro. |

As Ranma merge with his shadow and travels to safe Kuro, Rampart slammed his silver gauntlet that create a tornado of sand and earth that swung to Ranma shadow. He quickly emerge from his shadow and uses his shadow to summon his doppelman from the ground that immediately shape shift into a gorilla like silhouette that blocked the incoming attack while Ranma saves Kuro. Quickly grabbing Kuro arm and pull him out of the sphere created by Rampart. Rubbing his eyes slowly as he gain his sight back, Kuro crack his knuckles as he prepare on a battle stances. “Alright… You ask for it!” He yelled as electricity flowed to his body, widening his leg and strengthening both of arms in firm position. Raijin no sutansu muttered Kuro, coating himself in a layer of electricity that act like an armor. He dashes forward to attack Rampart. Leaping as he approach Rampart, Kaminari no Shinken, he crooned. Charging electricity on his fist and unleashes an electrical filled punch aimed at Rampart head, strong enough to impale an average pirate. “Don’t forget about me”, meanwhile, Ranma gather back his doppelman and turn it into hundred of shadow bat that will bite anything on its path. The swarm of bat heads to Rampart as Ranma moves his hand like puppetry. Let see how will he react when the two of them attack him at the same time... Tech used

As Ranma ran off after telling him to provide a distraction, Jigoku turned towards Rampart, but before he could do anything a huge chunk of both sand and earth flew over his head and as he looked behind to see what he'd been aiming at he saw a girl and a member of Zodiac's Prophecy no less. "Oh shit" he stated plainly, before diving towards her and creating a wall of sand to block away the earth and simply stopping the sand mid air with his Suna powers and throwing it back. "Are you okay?" He asked, before looking her up and down then saying with a quizzical expression, "That's hardly the outfit for a battlefield.." Turning back to the battle at hand, he immediately noticed that Ranma and Kuro had engaged Rhino in battle. " You flank him, ill try and take him off balance with this." Jigoku said to Candice. It was good luck that this battle was on a beach, as sand just so happened to be his forte and so the more sand there was the larger scale his attacks could be. Sandstorm, he whispered, a smile on his face. Specks of sand started floating towards him and whirled around him, slowly but surely, more and more was coming towards him. 10 seconds later the small spinning party trick had turned into a raging vortex reaching metres above him and swirling manically. In a flash, he pushed his hand and it started moving in the direction of Rhino, building up even higher. He laughed good naturedly, "You better get out of the way guys, you don't want to get caught in this, hahaha!" Techs Used

It took her a moment to noticed what she had done wrong. If she hadn't threw herself right into the fight she wouldn't had been noticed by the raging Rampert, the one who decided to turn around to her and give her one of his ugliest look. For her she started to shake from the fear of being beat down by this grown ass man. She still was a fighter regardless and even if she had to defend herself she was going to decide to hit back if he dare try to attack her. Of course instead of doing a close counter maneuver, Rampert instead chose to give her some flying pieces of the ground to be thrown at her. Which to her only meant that she wasn't even worth putting his hands on, and in all honesty, that was the truth. Even right now as the mass of sand and ground was sent her way, she wasn't even sure if she had the strength to block it by herself or fast enough to dodge out of the way due to the coming speed of what was lounge through the air. "Are you okay?" Somebody asked just as they made it in enough time to get in front of the mess and managed to block it with sand itself. Once the sand clear out of her eyes that was blown into her face, she manage to finally get a clear image of who it was that saved her. "Jigoku?! Thank you!" She wanted to quickly run up and hug him, but felt that it would be unprofessional to do that, since she didn't want to be too polite to her crew members and have them thinking she was trying to lead them on. Then after commenting on her outfit, she huffed while slamming her foot down before taking off her high heels so that it would be more easier to walk on the sand. "Whatever... I wasn't prepared for this just as I step on to the island." She said as the thought of her heading right to her apartment was her main plan and not to join them at the hideout. She listened to his advice without hesitation or responding, considering just as she was told to take flank, Jigoku had already started to attack. Candice made her way a little bit further only to be closer to the water, where she had her back to, before pulling out of her breast a number of iron pin needles. She only hoped this work, since she wasn't sure if his skin was too hard to penetrate, but even if it was she was still planning to at least annoy him enough to get his attention off the other three. If Rampart Rhino weren't mad enough, gorilla blocking his way to Kuro had probably done the trick. The gorilla silhouette didn't remain where it was forever, however, its' resistance failing as Rhino's gauntlets battered right through it, whisping away as he watched Kuro's body erupt in a form of lightning. It was as if he was asking to be put first in line, again. That attack he'd aimed at the girl hadn't been very successful, either. As soon as he'd smashed through the silhouette he'd began running at the individual responsible for blocking that piece of earth, Jigoku. Whilst meeting someone capable of doing that was fairly rare for many on the high seas, it did not necessarily bode well for him now. Rhino saw Jigoku redirect his own attack back towards him and roared, intensifying as he slammed both his massive gauntlets forwards and smashed straight through and shattered the accumulated mass of earth, sending shards slamming back and flying at everyone. But at least one person had made it through and on the attack. Rampart, his momentum having grown, reared back a fist and then slammed it into Kuro's lightning fist, gauntlet and fist meeting as Rhino gave a roar, the momentum driving him past Kuro -- but not unscathed. While he'd powered past him, Rhino had been shocked. Whilst the damage brought him to a knee, his rhino face gave a tight grin as he snorted a moment, the gauntlet that had met Kuro's attack smoking. His body was too now, lightly, and he straightened up, very stiffly. "No .. no, I did not ask for this. YOU DID!!!" he roared at Kuro and the others, too as if un-stiffing himself by heating himself via the fury of battle. He gave another light snort and crossed his arms, a pair of lions' heads with eyes that seemed to follow them glinting into view. "The name Rampart was given to me because of these. While I still have the strength to crush you, electric man, these absorb damage and spread it all over my body evenly (c), after having absorbed a large amount of the damage in the first place. My powers over earth are my own." A whirlwind began to grow as Rampart Rhino looked over at Jigoku, eyes narrowing. So, this was the one who'd thrown his chuck of earth attack back at him earlier. This would require some caution, as he punched his gauntlets into the beach, a wall of the sand/earth slamming up around him for a good few metres, hopefully taking at least one of them off-guard as he felt a sharp sting in the back of his head, right between the bottom of the head and the top of the spine. If that had actually penetrated fully and hit a nerve, or vein .. and it had obviously happened just before he'd erected his defence. Sending this structure around him blasting outwards at everyone, he spotted Candice near the seawater just afterwards -- the girl he'd tried to destroy. She could fight, realized she was also a part of the action, and suddenly realized in just how perilous a position he was in at the moment, eyeing her position warily for a moment. Turning to face the tornado nearby, he waited to see who was ready to take the next shot. His body had just stopped steaming from the electrical attack earlier, his horn still stinging. |

The attack he aimed at Rampart defenseless head is block by his metal gauntlets, debris of dust and sand flies around as both of them clash. Truly his power is the same with what they describe him to be, no wonder people shivers in fear when they hear his name. Even though he manages to withstand Kuro attack and also ignores Ranma’s swarms of shadow bat as they bite his body, but the electricity he put on his fist is enough to kneel him as the electricity shocked him, steam come out from his metal gauntlets. He seems mad because of what happen, if Ranma is put on his shoes he probably be mad too, just arriving in an island for some personal business and immediately interfered by 4 bounty hunters trying to hunt him down… well, it’s his fault for having a bounty on his head and also docked his ship on an island filled with bounty hunter who will hunt your head down. The attack affected him and at the same time makes him angrier and powerful than before as whirlwind is created around him, he quickly sent another chunk of earth at Jigoku, it seems like the only attack he can do. “err…Ranma” Kuro eyed at Ranma with a little confusion, signaling Ranma so that he would do something about the incoming chunk of earth headed for his fellow bounty hunter. “I know, I know” Ranma said as his doppelman rises again and quickly splurge in front of Jigoku, it change shape into a black wall protecting Jigoku from the incoming earth chunks. “Oh yeah?... Well, the name Kuro was given to me because of black, will be the last thing you see after I’ve done with you! Kuro replies as he easily walks on the coconut tree with the magical shoes of his and leaps forward toward Rampart, on the back of his head more precisely. Rampart knew he had to do something about the shadows defending Ranma and stomped a foot into the ground, a firm-looking staff of earth perhaps a foot in diameter sliding out of the ground for him to catch as he did the same with his other foot, aiming one in Kuro's direction as he ran up the coconut tree. Yanking the staff up to intercept, Kuro landed neatly atop it as Rampart furiously swept it towards the side to throw him off. Meanwhile, he'd thrown the other staff at Candice like a huge helicopter propeller of earth whirring in a low tone through the air at her. |

Kuro was sent flying back toward the brick wall behind him as the staff of earth sweep him aside, he crushed back first into the wall. If Kuro was just an average joe, he’ll probably be dead in an instant as soon as he hit the wall. Moaning in pain he tries to stand again with his feet, Kuro knows that his stances will wear out soon… gathering his powers back Kuro stand firm as he prepares to attack again. The shadow wall Ranma creates to prevent the incoming attack was a success as the chunk of earth and sand is easily blocked away by the massive black wall. As for now, he just needs to protect his friend from the bestial fury of Rampart while Kuro finishes him. Ranma spotted the giant earth staff directed at defenseless Candice and quickly dissipate the shadow wall to create another one to protect Candice from the staff of earth. Gathering electricity on his body, Kuro moves forward with top speed. “Holds him for me!” he said to his brother which quickly responses with a nod, the shadow wall turns into a massive snake… headed to Rampart and tries to strangle the giant rhino feet. Kuro leaps toward Rampart, this time directing to his chest as he envelops both of his fists with electricity. He places both of his hand in front of Rampart chest and unleashes massive surges of electricity. If it’s hit, it is strong enough to cause serious internal injuries. Let’s just hope the shadow snake is strong enough to hold him. tech used

The large staff, humming almost as it whirred in the direction of Candice, was stopped dead but not shattered apart as Ranma's shadow came to her rescue, Rampart Rhino's eyes going over the extreme nuisance. Those shadows had saved two people whose lives should have been over. His job hadn't been made easier, and the only way this could happen was for those bounty hunters to be killed. Whirling his huge body to face Kuro, he bellowed and started making his own dash at the enemy. Smashing his staff down onto the shadow snake rearing to whip around his rhino feet and bring him to the ground, he shattered the earth and shadow near him in a little circle and then threw the staff straight up into the air. Meeting Kuro's crackling attack head on with his arms and chest, Rampart then brought both his fists down as he was sent back and, as Kuro smashed his feet into Rampart and succeeding in blasting the huge rhino man backwards along the beach with a large plume of sand flying everywhere, Rhino had brought the staff down using the power of not one but both of his arms right down on Kuro, the staff coming down from the air as if gravity had multiplied by a hundred and smashing into the ground, pieces of debris the size of a fingernail capable of leaving a nasty bruise on a normal bystander. The fragments in this case, however, were the size of fists. Laying on his back on the beach, Rampart Rhino was struggling to breathe as the electricity remainders flowed through his eyeballs, his teeth, groin, lungs. Being electrocuted was so romanticized when the reality was a sickening, brutal pain. It made him angry. Rolling to his feet, his lungs actually blackened a little as blood began flowing freely down his chin, Rampart Rhino gave a half-assed roar again and slammed his fists into the ground, the earth where Candice and Ranma were standing on shooting into the sky a dozen feet with the intention of sending them flying who knew where -- hopefully many, many yards away and, if fate was smiling on Rhino, having landed on the necks and immediately snapped the vertebrae in half. That would make his life, in more danger than he himself may have realized, much easier. |

Kuro attack manages to hit Rampart precisely on his chest, even though Ranma shadow that holds him off is easily beaten down. It was enough to send the rhino man backward. However the rhino man manages to smack Kuro with the staff of earth that he threw to the air moments ago, if it wasn’t for the Raijin stance that he perform probably he will be death by now. The effect of the smash has broke Kuro back and bruises both of his arm. He struggle back to his feet as he sees Rampart was attacking Ranma and Candice as he sent the two of them flying high to the sky. If Kuro can scream right now he would but it’s hard for him just even to talk right now. While in mid air, Ranma quickly grab hold of Candice and gestures his shadow to emerge from the ground and turns into a giant black eagle. The eagle like shadow takes off to Ranma direction as its catches both of them before they plummeted back to earth. They land on a roof of the building not far from the battlefield, “Wait here! he orders Candice to wait for them there. He quickly flies back with his eagle to Rampart direction… Kuro slowly stand again, holding the pain down with his will as he once again approach the rhino man with fist filled with electricity. From sky above, Ranma tap the black bird back, the bird open up his beak as pebbles like shadow comes out of it and rain down on Rampart, the force of the pebbles is like a bullets that fired by a machine gun. “Don’t forget about me! Kuro said, the electricity gather on his fist as he leaps forward to the man. He gave a primal roar as he once again tries to punch the rhino man head with electricity punch. tech used
