Announcement

The Character Application Freeze has been lifted, and characters may now be accepted by staff. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but all issues have now been resolved and there shall be no further freezes like this in the future.

Now, there are a few things you might want to check out, High Rank Positions are still open to those who wish to attain such a rank of power, and have the necessary strength requirements, and we are still looking for some staff members! Feel free to apply in the Buster Call thread created for such a purpose.

In other news, the January event has passed it's deadline, and the February event is on it's way, look forward to it because it shall benefit those of you who RP!

Elements of the Seasons So it's summer, or... will be later this month, but the point stands. You know, fun in the sun, overbearing heat, the works. Or, if you're in the southern hemisphere, it's rather nearing winter this month; chilly weather, snowmen, the works. Already I'm certain nobody has the slightest what I'm getting at, but it had surely been the same with my last event, so oh well. Point is, from spring to summer, fall to winter, the seasons are set to change within the month. So what'll be done with that? Sign-ups: Sign-ups for this event will run from now through the 15th; that's a full half a month you all have. If you're confused yet (which I'm certain you are), the basic premise is this: when sign-ups are complete, I will put a tally of all the sign-ups and their assigned elements in this post. Each element will be linked to a season (wind for spring, fire for summer, earth for autumn, water for winter). You're probably still confused, so here's what I'll be having you do for the event, depending which element you were assigned: Earth: Stoic and resolute. For this element, you must stick to your principles, so to speak; more specifically, posting. Keep up the (rp) posts this month and you'll get the full reward, but here's the more difficult part: posts in topics that conclude this month (whether graded or not) will not be counted for full value. Fire: Creative and destructive. For this element, you must either create (a character, a bought weapon or ship, anything of the sort) or destroy (deleting/harvesting, upgrading a ship, selling something back, etc.). Up to three times will be counted. Simple enough, no? Wind: Forceful and calm, often fleeting. For this element... nearly anything goes. That's right I'm being vague (and possibly taking a cop-out), but I want you to come up with something creative for yourself that you somehow tie to this element, or the respective season of Spring. PM me with your conclusion once it's done. Water: Life-sustaining and unpredictable. For this element, you will be giving something to someone else; full points will not be achieved if said 'someone else' is or is set to be on a crew with you, or already in an rp thread with you. I don't mind what, or for what reason, so long as it's not something small like an iron-level weapon; it has to be something of some value to get full points. Also note that this is not necessarily 'the bigger the better.' Up to twice will be counted. Thus you have your to-be tasks. Maybe there'll be one or more you like, maybe one or more you dislike; 'tis entirely up to you whether to sign up (so go do it; all it takes is one post saying 'signing up' or something of the sort). Oh, and the first... three people to sign up will get their assigned elements a little early.
