Achron pored over the thickening tome he had stopped writing on a moment. In that St. Mary's crew, full of madness, there had been a light. He'd met her before their crews had battled, well beforehand. He wondered if she was still there with the St. Mary's, as he was the White Eyes as they came so near the Grand Line ... he began writing again. Slade hadn't even looked back at this one. Achron had requested to be dropped off here to ponder, meditate, and once again reorient himself with solitude and inner thought. Having taken the sleek escape canoe off the Death Trap, somewhat aware that if the ship sank the rest of the crew would have no vessel to use, he'd landed here and his jaw dropped almost immediately. It was a glittering mass of candy, unlike anything he'd seen before. Candy cane light beams and smarty-pavement roads, gingerbread houses dabbed with such intricate, real-world design that even the cement holding the bricks together were made of ... something that looked delicious. Ben hadn't had much candy in his life, ever, and he couldn't help but walk towards one of these houses now. He could hear music, too, and cheering, and began to walk towards that, instead. It was as if he were dreaming. But he knew he was not, and wasn't even debating the fact. But this place was amazing, almost unreal. He came into a large courtyard area with a ice-sculpted quartet of dolphins fountaining the centre of the area in who knew what. A singer, also comprised of various candies (and now beginning to look more eerie than cute to Achron; this entire place seemed too sweet, too devoid of life ... too happy and entirely aware, if not utterly focused on him ... but as if unawares of his existance altogether as well. It was downright creepy, actually), was leading a mass of candy people in song and dance. They were swaying, as if in a trance, and Achron found himself desperately looking around for some other sign of human life. Here, in this little candy town, he was beginning to feel overwhelmed and even threatened. There was something seriously wrong here: his finger wasn't on it, yet. He kept looking around. |

Every late night, Cela continued to train her body on how to fly and how to fight. Eventually, her Harpy form felt more natural to her and less bulky and odd. One night, she heard Achron request to be let off at a peculiar island. She decided on a whim to follow him when he took the escape boat and rowed to the shore of Candyland. She hopped off the boat and switched to her Harpy form and used the wind and glided along above him, and soared closer to the shore and eventually landed there before he had gotten halfway there. Rather than return to her human form, she stayed as a Harpy and sat atop of a cocoa tree branch and waited for him. Achron docked on the shore soon enough and made his way through the beach and further into the island, taking in the odd sights of candy. The expression of his changed, as she picked up on it, she hopped off the tree and flapped her wings as she landed by him. "Hey," she said as she waved as she stood in front of him. |

The event going on in the plaza ahead of him seemed to be some sort of ritual. There was a whisper above and only slightly ahead of him, however: he'd focused so hard on the city beyond, the great mass of candy city he was still trying to comprehend. Someone else was here, and as he stepped forwards and peered up, just in time for his eyes to go down as Cela's wings flapped once, twice, and she landed ahead of him. So at least he wouldn't be murdered by candy alone. She was still in the harpy form he'd seen her transform into before, and wondered what powers it gave her. His own Devil Fruit, if thats' what she was utilizing, changed his physical abilities, but not his appearance to such that one actually appeared a mythical beast. A different sort of harpy had attacked Speaker anyways but Cela was a brighter, far more positive form than what he had faced. "These trips I take are generally meant to test my life, Cela. Are you sure you want to be here with the cannibal candy creatures?" he said, looking past her to the mass of incredibly diverse bits of candy comprised into some minds' version of people. Sometimes it was on the dot -- gingerbread men and women made with enough care to look almost real. Others were just plain creepy, lifeless yet animated globs with plain red and white candy cane heads and deformed, half-eaten others. And yet he'd heard about this island, and it had never been like this. This was a foreign, entirely new phenomena. He looked back at Cela. "Although I don't think we have much of a choice. I've got your back if you've got mine." he smiled as he spotted a group of four people just out of earshot, likewise on the outskirts of this candy city. But it was as if the original Candy Town, the one he'd visited as a child, had been replaced by some massive, evil, powerful industry and replaced with ... something. He started towards the small group after nodding his head to Cela in their direction. As he did so, a group of candy people, monsters, and things spilled out of what Achron realized almost seemed like a barrier of candy houses, out of an alleyway, and spotted them. They were still a ways off, but more and more of them were appearing and beginning to look around. And they were innumerable, or so it seemed. Achron and Cela made it to the group much sooner. "So Candy Town is a goner." he said in a heavily lilted accent. Achron pegged the group as bounty hunters and even as he did so, they all began moving away from the growing mob that was slowly realizing that it should come at the living group. Why? They're candy. thought Achron, and kept moving. "Where do we make a stand?" "You and the lass follow us, you'll see. I'm Borodin and these are my Munchie Brothers. Whats left of the Munchie Brothers. Whats your names, if you don't mind me askin?" |

As Cela greeted her fellow crew mate, he explained that he made these kinds of trips to test himself. Which was fine with her, she needed more training anyway. He tested her resolve by mentioning the residents about the island and their cannibalistic nature. She gave a shrug as she turned her gaze toward them, "I don't mind. I need training anyway." As she said that, Achron spotted another group off in the distance and headed for them. She followed his pace as he met up with the group that somehow ran away from the candy people. Suddenly, the one called Borodin spoke and told the two to follow his group, and asked for their names. "Cela," she said curtly. |

As Cela gave her name, the little mob of candy that had spilled out from the concert, ritual, or whatever, suddenly spotted them with a strangely witch-like set of cackles and acknowledging shouts of glee. Achron liked Cela: had probably liked her since he'd seen her transform into a harpy the first time and most definitely didn't want to see her fall victim to one of his personal trips. Part of the reason he'd reached the levels he had had been due to the danger involved and this particular outing didn't feel any different ... meaning they were all in serious trouble. And then through a wall burst another set of mean-looking candy-men and Achrons' hand immediately came up, his pistol smoking as the first shot splattered a candy cane neck in half. There were many more of these things, however, and the Munchie Brothers, Borodin, Cela and Achron were forced to engage. He watched as a gummy bear jumped on to one of the Munchies' faces and stuck there, Achron himself dashing forwards and clawing the gummy bears' face and ripping it off at the neck. The body went limp. This was so creepy ... the candy was acting like people would if mortally wounded. Cela. was what crossed his mind as he ducked a cookie knife that thudded into a wall behind him as he heaved a great punch at the gingerbread assailants' head, breaking it in half. "Any particular favorite candy of yours here, Cela?" he asked her as his chainblade wrapped around the leg of some jelly bean-made human, violently pulling and sending it spinning jellybeans everywhere. Diving and rolling, a splatter of steaming chocolate squelched across where he'd just been, the sugar-dough road melting a little. That could have been nasty. "You all watch yourselves!" came Borodins' uneccessary warning. "We've got to get to the centre of town and nuke some invention thats' making all this trouble." |

It was as if her name was some kind of enchantment that brought the candy people to life. Or rather, into a trance. She had said her name so softly, yet they picked up on it and realized their presence. So her current task was to make it to the center of town, but there had been obstacles in the way. Then as she sized up the numbers, Achron had asked her what type of candy she liked, and if it was here anywhere. She didn't have a particular favorite. "Sorry to say, I prefer spicy food, but... I will happily devour anything in my path." She said with a grin. She spread her arms out with opened palms and brought them close together, as she closed her eyes. "I give my thanks to all of the ingredients in the world... Itadakimasu." After this simple phrase, she opened her eyes to take in the mass of candy in front of her. Candy was indeed a fatty food, but with how much she would be fighting, it would be okay to splurge somewhat. That, and the fact that a loud roar echoed through the area, as if a beast threatened to appear. Cela licked her lips as drool dripped from her tongue. The center of town seemed far off due to the sheer mass numbers of candy people, but that would all change. Many human shaped candies, animal shaped candies, and other humanoid candies slowly made their way to the group and began to attack. Cela hoped the rest of the group could handle themselves. Her eyes shifted from bored to serious in an instant. These people may be attacking them, but they're only candy. It's okay to eat them, right? As she contemplated this thought, she focused her energy into her arms as her body shifted into a unique stance. Mostly unique because she was a harpy using martial arts. She opened her bird-like palm and thrust it forward onto an oncoming pudding human. "Kugi Hira!" The human was sent back into the crowd with three dents in his body. The Kugi Hira was a rapid succession of palm strikes, intended to act as if a nail was being hammered in. Hence the name. As he was sent back through the crowd, they were also sent back and created a small pathway. |

Achron grinned. Spicy foods he could handle, although Cela seemed more the type to eat an entire spice pepper of misery than his liberal garnishing using flakes of jalepeno. That made him grin just a little more for some reason, as he spun a backfist through the flat side of a candy neck and friction-spun his sword in-hand, swinging it around to cut another gummy worm straight behind it. He was beginning to get funny inclinations to eat these fallen adversaries, too. The echoes of a roar, the roar more of a beast than some mass contraption of candy, reberverated around them, even literally just out-of-town, but Achron had no time to wonder as his chainblade speared another two pieces of what he assumed was liquorice in the chest and then pulled the rope though his single hand remained motionless: where a severe rope burn would have literally smoked the skin of a normal hand, his allowed the twine to glide like an elevator cable, the candy being helplessly pulled into his awaiting longblade. He heard the cry of Kugi Hara!, looked, and spotted Cela sending a very straight, very sharp looking palm thrust into some wobbly looking, pudding-ish humanoid attacker and leaving some more than sharp wounds in its chest. It gave her a pathway and Achrons' grin, which hadn't actually slipped yet, grew just a little wider. A harpy, a being he'd heard in stories as a child, fighting alongside him. Others seemed to take her transformation for what it was but within his legends, which in Speaker Island were in fact a tale of history charted before modern times deemed 'ancient' history what it was. And in such times, harpies, dragons, magma elementals ... they had all existed, and still did in some ways. As was proven to him even now, as Cela stood there with her opponent stuttering back. As it did so, a mass of jellybeans, gummy bears, and the more sticky-looking candy rose over even the forbidding-looking, Mordor-ish candy walls they were outside. True, it was rather far away from them and hadn't noticed them. Achron was awed at its size -- it was perhaps as large as a giant, maybe a little bigger, and was giving off noises that belonged to neither man nor beast. Its jelly worm/bear/who knew what else body was constantly in motion as it looked around, swiping what he assumed were incumbent bits of candy and, he assumed, gorging them unto itself. Borodin had spoken of a 'nuke' or some such inside the town, Achron remembered. Was this what he was talking about? There was no way they could destroy something intangible. "Ground control to Major Tom. Boyo? Before it notices us here in the open --" came Borodins' voice to them as he ducked a vicious, diving peanut butter cup, "We'll have to infiltrate town and find the source of their power. Sugar ... and I know the way. Follow me!" he called. Achron had little idea what he was talking about and he looked at Cela in question. He doubted she did, either, but wouldn't have paid any attention to Borodin. Except that they were currently fighting a group of half-life-size candy people that had proven they were capable of seriously hurting them, and currently had no way off the island. With a final two spins, Achrons' chainblade whirled first close to his body in a spiral, shredding the enemies nearby him and then the spiral widened on his second spin, ripping apart whoever else remained half a dozen yards within his radius. "Cela!" he called as he headed in Borodins' direction. That monster was looking for something, now that the corner of his eye watching it had truly taken notice, and it had ... The candy mass gave out a roar and a soppy, wormy mouth, opened pretty much in their direction, began to move in their direction. Fairly quickly. "We need to get out of its' sight!" "We need to move!!" he called, almost as panicked as Borodin -- probably because the latter had faced this monstrosity before. Borodin and the Munchies had been surprisingly adept in combat. Ben had been fairly surprised -- and they could run, too. They weren't out of breath. And now they were heading straight for the city, an alleyway leading into the place and, hopefully, out of the mass's sight. "It sees what the candy sees! We need to get right behind that thing. There's a certain someone waiting for us there, and that certain someone can make all this better again. The Munchie Brothers and I see to that, time and again." So that was who this colorful individual was. Achron nodded as they headed into the first alleyway and then took an immediate right, snaking their way quietly into a city full of citizens so delicious, yet so capable of making them a quick snack. And the candy, confused at first, had picked up on their tracks. |

Soon after Cela went through the trouble to use most of her energy to open up a path to the center of town, it was not used. Instead, a mass of candy monster appeared and made its way to their location, so now instead of rushing to the central of town, they had to take another route. On cue, Achron had warned Cela about the beast, and that they had to run. Cela took to the air and followed them into an alleyway. She flew over the roof of the building and ducked into the alleyway. As she flew in the sky, she took notice of the mass of blob candy. A roar echoed through the area once again, centering from the alley-way. This roar was no beast. It wasn't even the beast of candy that made the roar. ...It was her stomach. She couldn't take it anymore. She had to eat something. She had followed Achron early in the morning, and now it was breakfast time. Sweets were bad for breakfast, but she had to eat something. And right now that big mass of assorted candy looked like it could quell her massive appetite. Her Harpy form slowly grew larger, feathers covering her skin, her talon hands disappearing, transforming into full wings as her face shifted into that of an eagle. She released a high pitched screech and flew up high into the air. She perched herself on the edge of a rooftop and focused her eyes on the large mass of inviting candy. She wondered what kind of candy ingredients made up the big body. Her eyes then shifted to the citizens of the town. She spotted a gingerbread person. Immediately, she swooped down from her perch and dove toward the person and captured them with her talons. She arched back upward and flew back to her perch on the building near the alleyway the group had ducked into. She stabbed her talons into the jugular of the gingerbread person and killed them immediately due to the pressure of her weight breaking their head off. Her eagle form shifted back to her harpy form. After she devoured a gingerbread cookie person, her stomach quelled a little bit, but she was still a little hungry. |

Borodin first, he and the Munchies ran full tilt into the alleyway and out of sight of the candy chasing them and within the city -- hopefully. The cries of candy coming from within the city were now beginning to sound more unanimously like a bunch of searching parties and the volume of candy behind them hadn't gone down, either. They were still being followed. He looked back. Cela the harpy wasn't there, and he slowed and turned a moment when a roar echoed through the alleyway, causing Achron to reflexively bounce off the alley walls and sideflip onto the nearest roof, taking in Cela soaring high into the air with a screech. Had she been the source of the roar? She had the spirit of a mythical beast within her, he reasoned, and so anything could be true. The black harpies he'd locked horns with on Speaker hadn't made that roaring sound, though, and the Munchies had already started to run again after they'd paused to check out the noise, too. Evidently, it not belonging to the monstrosity in the centre of town was enough for them. As Achron watched, amazed, Cela became the harpy, or eagle ... but a full bird, and Achron suddenly knew exactly what to do. Spinning twice for vicious momentum, he underhand-threw his katana high into the air and gave a keen whistle, high-pitched and designed to penetrate ears in a large radius. And behind him, far in the distance, a pitched cry of its' own was heard, perhaps not as mythical-sounding as Cela's, when Achron thought about it. His mentor, companion, and perhaps best friend was an eagle and not a harpy-human, after all. He was amusingly entertaining those thoughts when he watched Cela swoop, catch a gingerbread person, and bring him back up onto a rooftop across. His katana was catching the sunlight, his exact position declared as he could now barely see his friend in the distance. "What the HELL are you two playing at!?" "Borodin." Achron called, thinking hard. "Could you use flyers?" A pause. "Flyers?" "People who can fly, birds, you know." "What was the first one you mentioned?" "Cela. She can fly." Another pause. "Cela? Does she, now?" he replied after a moment and he and the Munchies were up on Achrons' rooftop about a second to two longer than he himself had taken to get up there. He was deeply impressed with what he was beginning to assume were a cell of some guardian unit of this island. If these guys were it, they'd done an amazing job of putting this down time after time. They stood there in their baggy grey fighting gi's with the mud boots, a couple with green infra goggles and all with these tanks on their back that they'd fired some viscous liquid out of from time to time. Achron had seen it instantly dissolve swaths of what he again assumed to be sugar, or at least candy. "When I give the signal ..." Borodin started as he spotted Cela eating the gingerbread man. "Oh, my. Sweetheart, you're going to get very strong, smart and quick for a little while. But you're also going to ... you've just eaten concentrated dosages of a muscle and mind enhancing concoction my cousin came up with to stretch the taste and life of the candy here. It makes the candy ... this, and it makes people very powerful but go very crazy. So be careful, you." he said, casting a frown at the fallen, eaten gingerbread man. Jag swooped in and promptly landed on Achrons' shoulder and stared immediately at Cela, not saying a word. He, too, was struck at the similarities Achron had noticed earlier now. After a moment in which the monstrosity had suddenly taken notice of them again, and this time a cheer came up from the city and a pounding began to shake even the rooftops below their feet as an army seemed to march at them in unison. "Split up and get behind the monster! Cela, fly its' face and distract it if you can! Archon!" Its Achron, dammit. "Distract the candy!! We're going to give the big fella a very powerful dose of medicine in the meantime. Good luck!!" And they were off. "Jag, go with Cela and distract that thing." he said, watching his hand shudder as another step of the army candy came down hard. Distract the candy. That was an interesting idea. Jag flew over to Cela and bowed his head a moment. "I'll cover you." he said as he hopped into the air facing the giant candy glob. He could see Achron whirling into the air now, not even that far into the city away from them thats how close the candy army was now, two pint-sized gummy bears flying high in opposite directions. |

As she completed her little snack, she overheard voices nearby. Apparently the cookie person she just ate had been coated with some kind of drug. She hadn't noticed it until it was mentioned. Or perhaps it just took a few minutes to cycle through her blood stream. Power flowed through her veins as she changed into her Harpy form. The new plan of attack was to distract the candy monster, so everyone could get behind it. But with the new power flowing through her veins, a change was in order. "Hey.. does this mean that huge candy monster is full of that drug too?" she pondered aloud. If it was, then she wouldn't eat it. This would be enough for her. Given the situation, it probably would be. The eagle that belonged to Achron squawked at her, as if attempting to communicate. Right now, all she could do was focus her energy into her arms. Given how big the gingerbread person she ate was, a lot of the drug flowed through her body, pumping up her strength several fold, so she could only do this technique one time, until she trained her strength for real. Once she finished focusing her energy, she flew in the air at a quick pace, directly toward the monster. "Juu Ren! Kugi Hira!!" A rapid succession of direct palm strikes to the center of the blob of giant candy. The force sent it back one time. "One" Another impact dented its blubber. "Two" Another dent distorted its liquid body. "Three" More distance and dents almost bent the thing in half. "Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine..." The tenth impact, however, pierced through the last body of candy and did in fact break the blubber in half. "Ten!" The blubber landed onto its bottom half, and did seem like it would meld together, but slowly the top half slid off, and landed on the ground. A roar from the candy beast echoed through the area, and Cela's arm twitched from being exerted. "I don't think I can do that again..." She slowly flew to a nearby tree and sat herself on a branch as her arm continued to twitch. |

It had no idea where it came from, other than This Place, This Street, That Big Daddy. The giant blob of candy gave another of its' gummy sounding roars and Jag looked on amused as a single, lone piece of candy made its' way towards Ben Achron. It saw the invader now, saw its body -- so oddly shaped, so covered, and so alone. It had friends, it had others that would join in with it as it destroyed the invader. It would His chainblade whipping through some single monster that had rushed out of some house to his side, Achrons' eyes widened in surprise and he took a moment to look behind him before dashing forwards again. A slew of defeated candy lay in pieces behind him, and although his thoughts were on his crewmate he'd seen her fight, and understood her to have taken some sort of drug. All drugs were something to be feared to Achron, and the association to the harpy of legend gave him even more credence to his assumption on her strength. From what she'd been able to do, Achron had no doubt she could at the very least distract this giant ... worm, or blob, or whatever. And then the candy people and things attacked again from all directions and Achron began to glide with the chain held in both hands, spinning and redirecting the candy to all sides around him in intricate form while de-frictionizing whatever -- and almost all the ground around him -- he touched. With a battle roar, he spun himself around in one-kneed crouched position, the chain of his whip scything the knees of every opponent for 6 yards around him. They instantly went up in the air, nothing to hold them to the ground and the strength of Achrons' circular momentum lifting them so. He leapt and spun, his whip coming out its' proper way now and spinning around and figure-8ing him four times before he landed. The pieces that fell to the ground around him were many. "Juu Ren! Kugi Hira!!" Achron looked up to see Cela sending the massive blob back with one strike, then another. Drugs, indeed. How had she become this powerful, and the attacks coming one after the other so fast? She slashed it again, again, her wings holding her aloft as the monster crumbled bit by bit, finally glopping into its' top and bottom half pieces with a final sweep. Shutting his gaped look, he put his body to the side to avoid a reaching candy spear -- for goodness sakes -- spun, and elbowed the attacker in its' head, smashing it. He raced for the downed giant candy blob, wondering if they'd finally defeated it. How had Cela done that? The drugs, seriously? He'd have to take a closer look at this island when he had the chance. Jag was circling it now, and he could bet the Munchie Brothers were on their way, too. He ran out into the street right next to the topmost piece. Candy houses, candy streets -- Cela's battle had been aerial, it was hard to get an exact read on her. And then, there were two roars, and the piece he was standing next to slimed forwards at someones' running speed, and Achron actually jumped back and whipped a blade down into the jelly mass. Nothing. He hoped Cela was doing better, or had somehow had the Munchies reach her. Somehow, they needed to end this. The Munchies had spoken of their tanked concoction destroying some sugar source. And then, all at once, a roar went up in unison all around them. Torches were being lit everywhere, and the sun was beginning to reach its halfway point over the Islands' crest. Achron would have been shocked if things hadn't become this insanely inconvenient. And the half-mass had, once again, sprouted some form of a head although it didn't seem as coherent or, more accurately, terrifyingly intelligent-dumb in its' wanton, evil destruction. Just sluggish and needy for what Achron was beginning to seriously consider being humans...? Edited by Enlightened Monkey, Sep 14 2011, 04:40 PM.

Cela continued to perch herself on the tree branch as she watched the ensuing chaos around her. Her arm twitched from the energy spent on her technique. She would have to rest her arm from battle in order for her to recuperate again. At this time, she would transform back into her human form. If she had brought her tonfa with her, but she had not. The blob she had incapacitated became two lesser blobs. It seemed as if this monster needed every bit of its candy obliterated for it to be completely stopped. Her eyes scanned the area for immediate threats. |

The marching army of candy now had a voice, and ferocity, and even fury now as words began to formulate around him. The candy was not only lighting torches and screaming like a mob, but they were speaking now. Speaking. And those who spoke, strategized. As the giant blob of candy diverged in two, Achron was at a complete loss as to what to do. He doubted that Cela would fare any better as the half-mass moved in his direction and all of a sudden a tank and hose was flying through the air at him: he could see one flying in Cela's direction, too. Achron hoped Cela had put two and two together. This stuff held the formula Borodin had spoken of earlier. Cela and Achron were to use it, supposedly while Borodin and the Munchies were taking care of the root of the problem. They had probably only had time to throw the tanks at Achron and Cela, now that he thought about it. But Achron wasn't sure Borodin had counted on the candy suddenly wisening up, gaining words, and wondered himself how it could have happened. Perhaps the mass of candy had moved into the crowd upon splitting in two and given it some of its' intelligence ... ? No. There was another force at work here. Picking up the tank and hose tool, he squeezed the very simple mechanism and a gout of side spray came out. A gingerbread man immediately began to dissolve, a random liquorice bear stumbling from behind a building also falling immediate victim. This stuff didn't work in seconds. It took less than that. Achron judged that he would get through his half of the candy mass in about a dozen seconds, maybe two, using this tool. The mini-giant-sized full blob would've taken a paltry thirty seconds. No wonder the Munchies seemed to win, every time. Looking up, an entire army of candy now surrounded the handily equipped Achron and Sheena. The two blobs seemed to stand there blobbing in unison as Achron and Cela, obviously decoys, were doing just that. Achron sniffed the air -- smelled like a pool, this stuff. He prayed the Munchies had found and taken care of the problem by now, or about to. Time to take revenge on that cavity, he mused as he began squeezing the trigger. And goodness: what an outrageously one-sided fight. If he were the character in a mini-story, he figured by now there'd have to be a twist of karma to bring every bit of ease he'd enjoyed on this island so far down on their heads. He'd never, ever been ready for such an event before but he figured the candy turning into pure acid or the like, an imminence of inevitability, would at least even the playing field here. He wondered how much Cela was enjoying herself at the moment, or whether she'd decided to eat some more of the steroided candy. |

Cela recuperated on the tree branch, the cocoa leaves hiding her from view. Yet somehow something was tossed in her direction as if people knew she was there. She didn't know what it was, but she grabbed it. It seemed to look like a hose attached to some kind of pack. She didn't know what was in the pack, but she saw Achron use the pack and inside was some kind of formula that disintegrated the candy people into nothing. Their area became surrounded by the candy people, so Cela slipped on the pack and took to the air, spreading the liquid out onto the people in the area, quickly eliminating them. The two blob monsters were still a bother, so she flew over them and dumped more liquid onto them, shrinking them into mere puddles of their former selves. Too bad the candy here was coated with drugs, or else she would eat some of it and fill her hunger. Eventually, the numbers in the area dwindled to more manageable numbers, and Cela's pack had run out. |

The jet spray was gushed out of the nozzle and sent candy people off their feet, disintegrating even as they bashed their mates away into houses even. A giant candy bear roared and dove for his back and Achron spun a hook kick into its' head and 'stuck' his foot there, the candy eyes suddenly taking aim at his pills as he blasted its motionless face and punted the rest aside. Cela had taken to the sky and executed the same method, and Achron slowly made his way towards the cleared area she was making. Whatever the problem now, they had, most certainly, bought a significant amount of time. Even the candy blob seemed sluggish and unwilling to continue the fight as Achron sent another spray in its' direction. It gave a responsive, bubbling ripple and a farting-sounding moan, dissolving into jello before his eyes. And then the sun shone from behind the clouds as if on cue and a waist - high bear stepped into the single ray of sunlight cast into a city seemingly damned ... by candy. It was so cute, and it sheepishly looked the two of them over and looked at the moaning, motionless, oozing candy mess surrounding them. Even the foundation of some of the candy houses had caused the surrounding area to come apart a little. It really was a huggable little jello bear and it walked up to Achron, worried-looking. "Did you do it? Did you beat Candy Oz?" he practically mewled, and Achrons' heart softened even more to this unfortunate. It skipped his way, this happy little gummy bear. How scared it must have been during this mass invasion ... "Get out of there, laddy buck! You're bloody starin' at Candy Oz!!" Achron had never taken such a clean shot to the groin, had never been lifted off the ground, had never seen such a beautifully executed palm strike. The one thing saving his Jonas Brothers was the fact that he'd been palm stricken by a jelly-based being. Landing with a pained cough, he ignored the instict to curl and sprawled flat, watching the bear ignore him as he encouraged mass blood flow. He would stay here for a moment. "That girl is cold meat." Candy Oz said, his voice much more Chucky-like now as he spat a wad of candy goo into the air and jumped, slipping through his own spat concoction and then engaging Cela directly present in front of the air. "You like eating my stuff, huh? You like beating my piece of art, huh? JUU REN OR WHATEVER!!!" he finished with a yell, thrusting three angry jelly palm strikes of his own at her and then frontflipping to throw an equally angry axe kick. Borodin and the Munchies were still within shouting distance and had actually slowed to watch this encounter. Achron couldn't be more annoyed but was determined to remain starfished, for now.
