'T was an early morning, in the currently sunny and crowed United States Of Teriyaki. Jack was still allowed to stay in the hotel room for a rough 2 more days, due to his grand victory of the boxing title match. He stretched his arms as he jawned, like everyone does during the morning. Doing a few quick excersises, he had plans ahead... He had ordered a ship to be made, for his crew in the future. A log pose, A ship, all he needed was a crew. The word had already spread, that this silly guy was going to lead a crew. It was odd, he didn't look tough at first appearance, but when you fight him he is. Jack waved at Kule, sitting at the table. They were eating a nice breakfast. "Kule... I'm heading out." he said, interrupting the mood. "I see... Stay alive, that's all I can say." Kule replied, as Jack gave a nod.

Jack left the hotel, as the sun scorched his skin in a few seconds, but then again not literaly. It was hot, like no other could imagine, the smell of hot teriyaki even spread throughout the town. Everyone was in a type of summer clothing style, besides Jack with his boxing shorts and mantle. Putting on the cowl from his mantle, he covered himself from the sun, as he walked forward through the town. There was a certain spot in which his ship was being made, but he forgot where, so he simply headed to the edge of the island. There, the fated gathering would appear, his crew would form on this very spot, quite soon.

The bright sun shining down onto the water awoke old Paugnar Cug'ar. The bear of a man sat up in his rickety floating dingy and scratched himself in various places, growling. Growling, grunting, and groaning were the three Gs are Paugnar's behavior. He couldn't go a couple of minutes without doing all three. He looked around; lots of water. He turned in another direction; more water. The third direction; more water. Oh for claw’s sake, he wasn’t still out at sea, was he? Grudgingly he adjust himself to look behind him in the fourth direction, and he swore, if there wasn’t any land-

Oh. It appeared he was actually no more than twenty feet away from the edge of an island. Well, that was nice. Paugnar stretched and readied to get himself up. As he sat up the pathetic dingy rocked, making him lose his balance. He crashed back into the dingy, water splashing up on him. He steadied the dingy to prevent from flipping and tried again. Steady.. steady.. ”YYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH-” Paugnar roared loudly as the dingy capsized and he was flown into the water. He scrambled about in the water for several minutes, whooping and hollering. He could swim perfectly fine, he just didn’t want to spend the morning in the water. He finally managed to calm himself enough to swim to the shore, grumbling to himself. Screw that stupid piece of floating wood, he didn’t need it anymore. He was going to find a better form of transportation.

And there, right before him, was his fate. A young man in his early twenties standing there, looking rather goofy. He had enormous red fists and blue hair. He’d never seen a person with blue hair before. Was that even natural? Then again, there are blue bears, but their fur isn’t actually blue. Strange indeed. Who was this foolish youth? Paugnar scratched his rough beard and pondered approaching him in a roughneck manner to teach the ruffian a lesson. Maybe give him a lecture on the strength of a bear. That sounded about right.

”HEY, YOU,” Paugnar shouted, heading towards the youth. ”WHAT ARE YOU DOING STANDING AROUND HERE? DON‘T YOU KNOW THAT THERE‘S BEARS IN THESE WOODS?” Paugnar waved his arm about, gesturing to the non-existent woodland area. He grunted and waved his hands in the kid’s face, showing off his weapons made of bear claws. ”SEE THESE? THESE ARE THE CLAWS OF A BEAR. BEARS KILL THOUSANDS OF FOOLISH AND IGNORANT PEOPLE LIKE YOU EVERY DAY. YOU MUST LEARN TO RESPECT THEM, SON. ”

The sea roared, as waves splashed around, yet the weather was fine. What is this? Wind! Jack spread his arms, as a cool wind breezed throughout his hair. Refreshing, don't you think? He heard noises, seemingly from bushes. A tall man appeared, rather elder looking compared to himself. The man shouted towards him, starting to talk about... Bears? Jack knew that there were dangerous animals in these forests, but he had to do something meanwhile. And after all, Jack wasn't weak, he perhaps could defend himself from one, or not. Strangely enough, this man seemed to be yelling at him, as if it was a lecture. Jack frowned.

Then he pointed out some type of claw weapons, shouting some more at Jack. He knew what bears were like, and that they had claws, but hey, he doesn't care. "Could you stop Yelling? It's fairly annoying... I know about the animals living in this forest, I can manage... I'm looking for members for my Pirate Crew." Jack explained, as he looked at this older man. Who was this guy? Why was he slightly soaked in water?

This foolish young man appeared to be rather indifferent with his boisterous lecture. "Could you stop Yelling? It's fairly annoying... I know about the animals living in this forest, I can manage... I'm looking for members for my Pirate Crew." Paugnar growled and crossed his arms. He carried on in a quieter tone. “Alright, tough guy. Have fun getting mauled by a be- wait, did you say pirate crew? This peaked Paugnar’s interest. Ever since that day many years ago that he had been dropped off on Prank Island he had hoped to join a pirate crew and see the world. Or just beat up some marines. Whatever. Paugnar investigated this peculiar person. He still had no idea why this guy had gigantic red fists, but whatever. Probably one of those cursed berries or whatever they're called. He was pretty muscular though, he must fight a lot. He couldn't be that bad of a fighter, Paugnar reckoned. And any good fighter needs a doctor to patch them up afterwards! Paugnar grinned with eagerness.

"Well now. If I'd known that, I would have skipped the lecture. You look formidable anyway, for a human. Would you be in need of a pirate that delves in medicine? and bears?" Paugnar extended his hand for the youth to shake, clearing his rough throat and introducing himself. "Paugnar Cug'ar. Doctor, brawler, and" -- He growled fiercely and gnashed his teeth -- "devoted bear lover."

Jack smiled, as this person seemed to be interesting in a pirate crew, immediatly stretching his hand out and introducing himself as Paugnar Cug'Ar, a doctor. "A doctor? I can use one, heheh!" Jack said with a smile. He swung his sports bag around, as he pulled off his Boxing Gloves and shoved them in there. Shaking the hand of this man, he said: "Jack Ferbown... Professional Boxer." He could surely use a medic, and also after he was to fight in his upcoming two title matches. "I can use a doctor... I end up pretty badly after my title-matches. I've two ahead, too!" Jack said with a simplistic smile.

The happines literaly shone from him, like an aura. It was as if his bright heart and smile could make anyone near him happy, it was rather odd. He was simply so proud, that he had won the title match of North Blue, and had but 2 blues left. After that, he would be ready... To set out, for the Grand Line. "Wow... A doctor in my Crew so soon already... This is gonna be fun~ I have this Log Pose already, and our ship is under construction. I guess I need to get my hands on a Navigator, too." Jack speeched, looking at the man as he calmly let go of the hand.

Jack's stomache growled load, like the growl of a bear, as he shyly laughed. "Sorry, I didn't eat in a while... Want to go grab a bite in the town? There's plenty of places open at this hour." Jack asked the man, wondering if he was hungry. This man looked like he had taken a swim, or was out at sea for a while, so he should have some type of hunger within. Jack simply smiled and turned around, walking straight forward.

Paugnar grinned back as Jack shook his hand. He looked down and saw his gigantic red fist was gone, replaced with a normal hand. What magic was this? Paugnar was confused and thought it over in his head. Perhaps those gigantic red things were.. gloves? Very strange gloves, but whatever. Paugnar's "gloves" were strange too. After all, they were made from the claws of a bear. Anywho, this Jack appeared to be a very charismatic fellow. He also mentioned something about title matches which Paugnar hadn't the slightest idea about. Humans actually fought competitively? It was probably like the sparring they did on Drum Island forever ago, except for money. It sounded sort of fun.

Paugnar was moreso confused as Jack mentioned a Log Pose, and a navigator. He knew what a navigator was obviously (Paugnar isn't that out of touch), but he did not know what this Log Pose thing was. It sounded rather important, however. It seemed neither of the two had the navigation skills needed to travel the waters safely. After all, Paugnar still had absolutely no idea where he was at this given moment. Sure, he was standing next to this silly blue-haired guy with big gloves, but that told him nothing.

Then, suddenly, he heard it clear as day; the growl of a bear. Paugnar yelped and stepped back, preparing himself. "YEEAARRGH. Did you hear that?! A BEAR." He looked around and tuned his ears, listening to the source. It appeared to be.. Jack? "WHAT? YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU WERE A BEAR. HOW CO- wait.." Paugnar frowned and listened closer. It was the boxer's stomach. Oh, for claw's sake. Paugnar must have been getting delirious from lack of food. "..Let's get a bite to eat."

Jack had reached the town back safely, although he was lost at first. He showed a smile, and went on, knowing that Paugnar would be able to keep up somehow. He looked around, and took a swift stepping turn, entering the first restaurant he found. "What would you like?" someone already asked, as he had taken a seat. "Anything edible. . ." Jack joked, yet sounding serious. Jack closed his eyes for a minute, as he was not sure what to do next, or let stand where the heck to find his other members. He needed a Navigator, to be able to move and use the ship properly, but also to guide the crew through the Grand Line. Then, there was need for a good cook. Jack knew how to cook, but his wasn't the best as a true cook's food. He had been served a glass of water, as he opened his eyes and took a sip from it. There was a basket with pieces of bread, too.

Taking some of the bread pieces, he started munching on it as he awaited food to come over. He took a look at Paugnar, as he glugged down the bread whole. "A doctor, huh... Whom did you learn it from?" Jack asked curiously. If he had a member now, he would surely need to know more about the man himself, and a bit of his past. He wondered where this man exactly came from, too. He didn't seem too familiar with Boxing, and was a little primitive, judged from his weapon.

Paugnar followed his new Captain into the restaurant, sitting with him. His bear-like appearance jarred a reaction from some of the patrons. He saw a couple whispering and muttering to each other, a sight he was used to. This had happened for the past 20 or so years every time he stepped foot into the village on Prank Island; the funny looks. Some were scared, some intrigued, some a little bit of both. Paugnar shrugged and sat down at a table quietly as Jack closed his eyes and thought to himself. Paugnar took another good look at him; he appeared very formidable, possibly more than Paugnar. That wasn't a surprise, however; Paugnar had not done ever done any real training, he just beat on things to get out frustration and act fierce. He supposed real training would be in order if he were to become a better pirate, especially now that he was on a crew. It would be bad if the doctor died.

Paugnar reached for some of the bread while Jack posed him a question. "A doctor, huh... Whom did you learn it from?" Paugnar thought about it for a little bit. It was so long ago.. He answered between bites, talking with his mouth full. He didn't believe in manners after living like a hermit for practically two decades. "When I was a kid, way before you were a clawing desire in your father's pants, I lived on Drum Island in the Grand Line. Everybody there's a doctor, more or less. I learned it all from my dad. Cetumqur Cug'ar, the man, the myth, the legend.. what a man." Paugnar seemingly gazed into space, admiring his long-gone father. If it wasn't for his father he wouldn't be a doctor, or a bear lover, or even alive. Finally he snapped out of his trance and looked back at Jack. "What about you, little cub? You and your big red gloves and whatnot. Tell me."

Jack looked at Paugnar, as he stated that he was once from the Grand Line, and that almost everyone were doctors there. He was apparently thought by his father. Then, he asked about Jack. Jack didn't really want to remember his boring past, as he wanted to move on towards the future. The food arrived, as he took small bites to be able to talk later on. "I'm from Mafioso Island." he said, as he continued eating for a slight minute, then looking back at Paugnar, and taking a sip from his water.

"My dad wanted to put me in his bussiness, to be a mafioso, but I didn't want to. I started to learn boxing at a young age, and received a title later on. Then, I confronted my dad that I wished to sail across the world and become a pirate. That's quite much it." Jack explained and told like a story teller. He continued with his meal, which would soon be an empty plate, as all the food went to his stomache to be digested, along with his drinks going to his blatter.

Paugnar listened to the boxer's story. It was a rather short one indeed, but the confrontation of his father seemed righteous enough. Paugnar couldn't have imagined how hard it would have been to succeed if his father wasn't supportive. Paugnar scratched his beard pondering what this boxing was. It probably had to do with the big red gloves. "Is that what it's called? Boxing? Hmmm.. with the big red gloves? And what is this title you received? So many questions." The waitress had arrived with their entrées. Paugnar took one look at his fish and knew it was cooked. He scoffed. Raw fish was much more satisfying. He called the waitress back angrily and asked her to get him a raw fish instead. He did not resort to violence as to avoid a scene, only the raising of his voice.

"Cooked? This thing is COOKED?! TERRIBLE. Go get me a raw fish instead. I hate cooked food." The waitress eeked and hurried frightenedly into the kitchen with his cooked fish. The absence of a cook wouldn't bother Paugnar in the slightest. He hadn't tasted cooked food in years. The stuff tasted bad to him as he had adjusted to the taste of raw fish and actually liked it. A cook would be nice for the rest of the crew, he supposed. Silly humans and their want for gourmet cooked food. What foolish desires. Finally the waitress hurried back with a raw fish on a plate, which Paugnar devoured happily. This was the real gourmet to him.

Silvers Rayleigh
Water as far as the eye could see, it would appear that Rayleighs’ half torn dingy had managed to get it all this way, that in itself was quite a feat, however, he needed to find land soon, for he knew that his boat would capsize soon enough and that would have meant that he needed to swim all the way to land, and that certainly would have been troublesome. The man, sporting his unkempt blond hair, his sword firmly strapped to his side, was ready for almost any occurrence, despite the sea he was riding on being quite a calm place.

LAND! Not too far from here, Rayleigh had managed to find land at long last, after sailing for a week and a half, and almost losing half his dingy to a large shark like creature that for some odd reason decided to leave the traveller and the vessel alone after one powerful bite, perhaps it was the presence of his weapon that the beast gazed upon for a short period before departing, no one would ever know.

Using both his hands, the young man paddled his way to the edge of the island, tumbling out of the dingy quite frantically as he couldn’t believe that he actually found land, even without a map of any kind. After leaving his wreckage of a dingy, it seemed that whatever unknown island he was on was his only way to survive now, his best bet was to find a village or town and regain his strength.

After around twenty minutes of walking, it seemed all the energy had began to drain itself from Rayleigh’s legs, it seemed that a week and a half of eating nothing but seaweed and odd fish had taken its toll, but, fear not! A half decently structured town had presented itself before the weary traveller, and in good timing too, a few more dreary steps and he wouldn’t have been able to walk any further, however the reassurance of a town had given him more strength to power through, until he had found a restaurant that is!

The restaurant seemed quite nice on the outside, made out of an elegant type of wood, and it seemed that the inside seemed more welcoming by the instant, and with that, crept in!

The inside of the restaurant seemed as fancy as the outside seemed, and cosy too, prompting the blond to sit down on the nearest table he could find, which happened to be patron to two more people, it seemed his tiredness got to him after all. Feebly, the man looked at the table and noticed another young man, sporting strangely blue hair, and opposite him and next to the blond, a gruff…bear?!

“What the-“, the blond uttered

The blond couldn’t quite make out what he was seeing, however, it definitely seemed like a bear, although that would be impossible, perhaps his dreariness was making him see things, that indeed seemed very likely.

“Er…one coffee please” bellowed the man, holding his arm feebly upwards so that the waiter could see him, trying to forget about that bear like thing

Zancrow traveled around the world, his destination is The united states of teriyaki he heard the island is known for breathtaking cooking. As Zancrow walks by wearing his usual wear.He wears on top a white, long sleeved button up shirt and a dark grey zip up jacket with a white line running from the collar to the end of the sleeves. On the bottom, he wears a pair of long, dark grey slacks and a belt with shiny buckle, then a pair of black, polished leather shoes. Underneath he has a tank shirt and black boxer shorts. He has long black socks which are about 1meter long. He sometimes wears fingerless gloves; for punching people or whatever else they might be needed for.

Zancrow is lost because of his Stupidity he walks up to an building that seems open as he open the door he see's a an empty sit he then closed his eyes and walks towards it. As he opens his eyes he took a sit and decided to rest on the table with his bangs covering his eyes. He then fells asleep and dreams of being the king of the world, on his dream he killed about a billion knights using his bare fist. As he wake's up he randomly laughed UHEHEHHEHE and everyone must have been looking at him. He sits and behaves peacefully, He then looks at the guy next to him and asked Sup.

Paugnar asked some questions, and Jack was simply going to answer them. "Boxing is a martial arts. The gloves aren't just for show, they're made for this sport specially. Using gracefull and swift footwork, one can outdo an opponent with swift hits. Kicking isn't allowed, it's pure footwork and fists. I've won a title-match in East and North Blue already, I'm going for the All Blue champion title." Jack explained without a problem. He then looked at Paugnar, which seemed to yell and complain that this fish was cooked. He asked for a Raw fish instead, as Jack smiled, thinking 'At least I have someone original in my crew now.' A blonde man walked in, as Jack peered over at him.

This person seemed interesting, yet seemed to be staring at Paugnar's appearance. Then, someone came in, laughing wildly, and took a seat right next to Jack, it was after all a free and open seat. "'Cuse me... I'm looking for people for my pirate crew." he asked the odd fella. (Zancrow) Then he stared at the blonde sitting at the same table as both, then asked him something: "You look like a smart guy... Are you... Looking for a pirate crew? My ship's almost ready to sail out with, and I've a log pose" Jack spoke out loud, with no shame whatsoever

Paugnar listened to Jack talk about boxing. Something about winning the All Blue championship.. grace and swiftness and footwork.. sounded extremely complicated. Paugnar decided he didn't want to try out for this boxing thing after all. He'd stick to beating inanimate objects (and now probably Marines too, considering his new affiliation to piracy). "You say you've won two titles? Well, that's nice. Good for you, bear cub."

At this time two figures would wander in, one shortly after the other. One was a young blond who appeared rather tired and disoriented. He sat at the two pirates' table right next to Paugnar without much recognition. After a little while the blond looked up at Jack and Paugnar and appeared rather startled, stifling a “What the-“ and no more. Paugnar scowled and grunted at the new arrival as the blond ordered some coffee. "What's your beef, human? Got a problem with a bear lover?" Soon enough another more maniacal person joined their table too, across from Paugnar and next to Jack. Suddenly the guy just falls asleep and wakes up laughing. Paugnar scowled and grunted at the lunatic as well, seemingly unwelcome of these two new people. Who were these foolish youth? Unfortunately, his Captain seemed to have a different perspective on the situation, because he randomly offered the two crewmembers a place in the crew. "Wait, what?" Paugnar said, raising his arms in dismay. "You're just asking these two random foolish humans to join your crew?!" He leans across the table to whisper to him, "What if they don't understand the dangers of bears, Jack?" It was a viable concern, after all. All pirates should know the dangers of bears before going on a journey.

Pa-dum, that was the sound of a coffee mug being gently placed next to him, it seemed that this restaurant was quite quick on service, which was an excellent thing to boast. Glancing at his plain white mug, the blond placed his fingers into the hand made handle, then hoisted the mug up as he was far too weakened to do it any other way. Hovering above his lips, he took one sip, two sips, then ended with a third sip, before placing the mug back onto the table.

“Ahh!” moaned the blond quite colourfully

That coffee had somehow done the improbable; it had completely changed his tired, solemn personality into that of a livelier and fun loving one, it seemed that Rayleigh had finally shown his true colours. After his little coffee boost, his strength had slowly begun to return, and a good thing too, the bear next to him turned out to actually be a very gruff man, sporting bear fur, this made the blond laugh heartily, that bear clothing made him seem strong, and Rayleigh liked strong people.

“Ah, sorry sir, It appears that I was a bit taken aback by your appearance while disoriented, I don’t mean any harm, to be fair it isn’t a bad look, and no I have no problem with a bear lover, in fact, I have no problems with bears in general”

Just as he finished explaining himself, the door burst open, and this time a more sinister man came through, this one making more of an entrance than the blond swordsman himself. The peculiar man decided to seat himself on the same table as himself and the other two unusual patrons, this man did seem quite full of himself, even in sleep, as his devilish grin never left him, hell, when he woke up, he cackled.

Right then and there, the blue haired one spouted the weirdest question, asking him to join his pirate crew, although this in fact made the man laugh, it made him think back to how he promised to be a pirate, and how he had trained vigorously and studied intensively for that dream of becoming a pirate, hell, he left on that dingy in hopes of having a crew willing to take him in, and luck would have it that he was being offered to join himself.

“Me? Join your crew? Sure, why not? I’m considered one of the best navigators in East Blue if that counts for something, but I’m sure I won’t be a burden!”

Rayleigh seemed quite determined to join this crew now, hell, most great pirate crews started out small, and he was ever so determined to make this crew into something great. As he had given his reply, the gruff bear man had scolded the cyan haired youth for his unorthodox method of recruiting people, although, this only made the blond crack a smile, ah what sort of journey lied ahead, no one knew!
