Walter , He had walked around the island searching for a place to use his new Weapon. He had bought it from a building shop a few Kilometers away , The Shop had been selling the Monomolecular razor wires and anyone who was strong enough would get a two million Beli Discount. Walter had gotten it , And was able to cut trough things easily , Iron and concrete included. Walter reached the place they had told him about , A house with 2 feet of the razor wires dangling from it. It seemed deserted , and inside was worse : The House seemed in ruins , there was only this old man in the middle of the house , drinking tea . He had motioned Walter to come closer , And pointed to the seat. Walter Approached and sat on the chair . He had not said a word , but had looked at the gloves Walter had . After a long pause he had looked at Walter then had said with a strangely high-pitched voice :'' You want to know how to use these gloves , Yes ? Then show me what you can do : Destroy that vase over there. Walter had looked at the place the man Pointed but by the look of the man , Walter had to do it without Leaving the chair. The vase was 9 Feet away , and Walter didn't even have any practice whatsoever with the Razor Wires. He had done it the first time by sheer luck. Walter had looked at the vase and sent his wires towards it , he had missed the first time by over 3 feet. The Old Man still had his large grin , Walter tried it again , but was closer , 1.5 feet. He would do it this time , he sent the wires towards the vase and with a few movements with his arm , hand and fingers got the wires to wrap around the vase. He then took a piece of the wire and put it in his mouth and pulled it with his teeth. Cut in three parts , Two tries , 3 feet to 1.5 feet off , Not bad but not good enough. You have enough strength to use these wires but you don't use your speed or accuracy enough , Want me to teach you ? Walter had nodded , This would be his most lethal weapon if he could use it right. The old man stood up and walked to the door , at the other side of the room , he made very little movements with his arms but had cut the chair he was sitting in , the table , and the tea cups with his Wires. Come to the next room when you are good enough to slash trough anything here with little movements or without missing. You have five hours to do it , if you don't then go find another teacher Walter had looked at the table , he had not finished his tea yet and yet it was cut. The old man was strong , Good , He before the end of the week , Walter would be on the ship before the gathering. Agreed , And I'll do it in record time. |

What would Walter cut ? There was not that many things to use , or was there ? The whole room was something Walter could be able to use. He would start by cutting the Pillars , they were made of wood , it was an ornament and was not connected to the ceiling. First to Be able to cut it Walter would need a technique for this . He looked at the Pillar and started imagining how would he have to do it to be able to reach it with the least amount of movements. He would need to do it with five movements at the maximum. That was his objective and he was not afraid to fail , if he did he had no right to join the revolutionnary crew : Radicalz. Since he had killed the Marines it was not easy for him to walk around the city . So to shoot the wires and be able to turn them would be one hand movement , then another to turn again , and yet another and one last , this would make the wires wrap around the pillar , and he would only have one last movement to slash the Pillar. That was it , and he tried it. Fail. It had not worked , it had not even done the first movement , maybe 5 movements was not enough. Maybe the Old man had left a hint on how to do it . The way he had slashed the Table , That could be a hint. Walter had searched into his mind and tried to remember what the man had done. After two hours of trying to remember and NOT training , He had remembered , the old man had not used two or three or even four movements to slash the table , and the other things. He had use exactly Sixteen moves. Sometimes the first finger could go above the other finger and the wire would switch fingers. Walter tried it again , But he had not limited the amount of techniques he would use , but instead had limited how big his movements would be , they had to not take to much space but still be very easy to use. He sent the wires again , and with very fast but little movements of his finger , pulling the wire on the index finger of the right hand with the finger of the ring finger and using the thumb finger to push the top of the ring finger to put it on a strange position actually made some moves , none that he needed but still some. So in midair he switched the movements of the wire to turn arround the pillar several times , and after one last move he slashed the Pillar in five equal parts. He had done it . Now he needed to turn this into a technique and be able to be used against a human , and The old man must've thought the same thing for he sent a human shaped target practice doll on the field. Incognito ? he had moved the wires to tie around the dolls neck then , cut the neck. All of this was done in five seconds from Walter's standing point on a non-moving target. This would be more-likely to be a Long distance sneak-attack. Now That Walter had finished the training in... 4 Hours , 58 minutes and 10 seconds he had to go to the next room before the 110 seconds where done and he would lose. |
